We remember how I was complaining about my fine motor skills being fucked recently? How I couldn't wrap my tortillas? Right, well, I figured out it was the med for my tourettes causing the issue (an anticonvulsant). I've been on it since 13, and we've just steadily increased the dose every time my tics would get worse. My latest dose was 150mg and I was on it for a few mo ths when I started noticing worse tremors, and my hands fuckin up. So I took myself back down to 100mg, and my hand function came back, but the tremors are still here.

I go to my appointment today with the neurologist, tell them all of my findings, and she tells me to see if my PSYCHOLOGIST has any new med recommendations. She has completely said she doesn't give a fuck and won't work with me.

My original neurologist dropped off the face of the earth last year, the one that specialized in my condition, so I've been seeing this other random neurologist in what was supposed to be the meantime, while they found a replacement. There has still been no replacement. They stopped providing my mental health meds (which worked out in the positive for me but isn't the point), and now they don't even want to help me take care of my FUCKING TOURETTE SYNDROME.

The only thing left that they do is provide botox shots for my migraines.

Absolutely FUCK doctors and their ability to just do whatever the hell they want with people's lives.
