Ok so good news and bad news. Good news I have more writing. Bad news is its a crackship between Amp (Horrorfell!Cas) and Huntsman (lmk)... I call it ✨FeralFangs✨

Huntsman laid in wait deep in the dark forest, waiting for his prey to show itself and trigger one of his traps. Lo and behold the indicator strapped to his wrist vibrates and one of the dots on the map pulses that it’s been triggered.

With a silent grace and fervor only attainable through years of hunting in such terrain, he closes in on the clearing. He knows his charge could escape in a moments notice so time was of the essence and he had to forgo some of his stealth to make it in time.

As he approaches the trap he sees a figure caught by the leg in his snare, its signature jacket’s hood pulled up. With a feral grin he pounces- tackling them to the floor.

“Aha! Gotcha-!” He pulls their hood away to reveal a dummy and his eyes go wide. “What!? No!!”

He quickly stands and frantically surveys the area for any sign of where they’d gone while frustration boils inside him from getting played so easily

All of a sudden an instinct seizes his body, making him freeze as he feels a shudder down his spine. The shift in the air is tangible as predator becomes prey and he feels eyes bore into his neck.

In a rush of wind he’s pushed to the ground from behind and the breath is knocked out of him as he feels a weight settle on his back. A light puff of laughter rings in his head right beside his face as he flushes from both embarrassment and another emotion

“Hehehehehe, Gotcha~!” A soft raspy voice sing-songs in his ear. He feels speechless for a moment before regaining his composure and scoffing

“That was a cheap trick!” The giggles grow louder as the figure releases him and he turns around to scowl at the one who’d bested him

“It was an effective one.” Amp smugly replies, still sitting proudly on his legs.

The two stare at each other in silence, Huntsman’s embarrassed scowl deepening as Amp’s delighted grin grows. He just wanted to win their game one time!!! He was supposed to be the best hunter, it was in his name!

Suddenly he gets an idea, a smirk flashing across his face before he pounces- pushing Amp off of him and onto the grass behind her, but she wouldn’t go down without a fight and in a tangle of limbs the two wrestle in the grass. Shrieks and laughter followed the two as they struggled back and forth in the clearing, one pinning the other only to get thwarted and shoved away for the cycle to continue.

Finally the couple collapses onto the ground next to each other, staring up at the sky and breathing heavily. There was dirt on their clothes and leaves and twigs in their unkempt hair but the smiles on their faces made it all worth it.

Amp looks over at Huntsman’s face for a moment, admiring it. Then she flips over, crawling closer to rest her chin on his chest and look up at him.

“So…” She trails off, huntsman lifting his head closer. The air grows thick with a different kind of tension and she can feel his heart beating

faster under her head. The tension stalls as she suddenly breaks out into a sharp-toothed grin “you hide and I’ll seek?”

She laughed at Huntsman’s expression, getting up and running away as he chases after her

“So is that a no-?! Oop!” She calls over her shoulder- narrowly avoiding a shot of web.

Sure she could just kiss him, but a deal was a deal. They’d agreed that if he caught her, he’d get a kiss. And as she hears him grumbling and giving chase behind her she can’t help but laugh at the irony of his own bet keeping him from getting what he wants

After all, there were only two unwavering truths anyone who crosses her path knows to be true. That Amp always held to her bets, and that nobody has ever caught her

Luckily for him she’s already decided that she’ll cash in a few of the small favors she’s racked up playing these games with him on something the both of them can enjoy… or that she can tease him with. Maybe both, who knows!

A loud crack of thunder sounded and flash of lightning lit up the ship. 

“Wire hasn’t pulled a single rope and you’re yelling at me, ya shit bag?” You shout back, heaving coil after coil of sail rope over your shoulder, desperately trying to pull the sail down in the storm to keep the Victoria Punk from capsizing. “We wouldn’t be stuck in this if you hadn’t pissed off everyone in the Grand Line and had to take the scenic route!” 

“Less yappin’ more haulin’!” He barks back.

“Get off me, ye fuckin' harpy, I’m fine!” Kid slurs out, clutching the bleeding, open wound on his chest. 

“Hey dick-nose! You told me I was here to be your fuckin’ medic, so let me be a fuckin’ medic!” You shout as you haul Kid’s massive body onto the medical table. 

“Urrgg-“ Kid groans. 

You quickly grab a surgical needle and thread along with antiseptic and antibiotic ointment. You thread the needle nimbly and start to close up the gash. 

“OW!” Your captain yells and lurches forward. “You ain’t have any anesthetic?” 

“Big bad worst generation pirate captain needs an anesthetic for some stitches?” You ask with a cocked head. 

“I’m still human, you bitch!” He snarls. 

“Here, pour this-“ You hand him a bottle of vodka from under the surgical table. 

Kid rips the bottle from your hand and chugs it til it’s near empty. He winces and sighs. 

“Alright I’m ready.” He says, wiping the liquor from the sides of his mouth. 

“Oh that’s not-“ You begin. “You know what, fuck it.” You say as you begin to stitch up his chest wound. 

Kid winces each time the needle pierces his skin to pull it together. A silence comes over the room. 

“You need to be more careful.” You say softly, carefully focused on sewing up the gash. 

“You don’t know shit about what I need.” Kid says with his eyes squeezed shut. “I’m the captain. I make the rules.”

“Yeah, well… maybe your rules suck sometimes…” You say as you continue to sew up the injury across Kid’s chest. 

Kid lets out a deep exhale. Silence falls again. After a few more minutes, you finish the last stitch and pull your hands away. 

“Hey-“ Kid says as he sits up and suddenly grabs your wrist, so small in his large hand. 

“Yeah?” Your head turns to meet his gaze. You hold each other’s eyes for a moment… there was something different in the way he was looking at you right now… 

“… nothing.” Kid says and drops your wrist. He slings his legs over the side of the medical table and hops down. He storms out of the room without so much as a ‘thank you.’

You belly up to the wooden bar in the galley of the ship with a sigh. Killer was washing dishes at the sink when he heard you plop on a stool and turns around. 

“Long day, huh?” He asks, drying a beer stein with a dish towel. 

“When is it not?” You huff. “Can I get a beer?” You ask tiredly. 

Killer nods and takes the clean beer glass over to the keg against the wall and fills it to the rim with amber bubbles. He slides it from across the bar into your waiting palm. You grip the glass and start to bring it to your dry lips. Before the glass could touch your mouth, the door the galley swung open and slammed against the wall. 

“Hey piss-pots, I need a drink.” Captain Kid’s massive, fiery haired frame came barreling through the doorway. You roll your eyes, irritated that your moment of peace was interrupted. 

Kid stomps up to you at the bar, huge black jackboots clanging against the wooden floor. He rips the beer from your grasp. 

“Hey-!” You shout in protest, but it was too late. Kid brought your beer to his lips and begins to chug. He drank with such voracity that the beer seeped from the sides of the rim and trickled down his chin and neck. You watched as the beverage spilled down his thick neck, Adams apple bobbing with each gulp. Your eyes were drawn as the droplets traveled down to his exposed chest… so toned and wide… ew what?

He finishes the beer, slams the glass back down on the counter and lets out a massive belch. 

You grimace. 

“Fucking pig.” You sneer. 

You hear Killer sigh heavily and he grabs the glass to refill it for you. 

“What? I’m thirsty.” Kid grins cheekily at you. 

“You’re disgusting is what you are.” You add. Killer gives you back a full glass of beer. “And I’m supposed to drink this after his filthy mouth touched it?”

“You’d hate to hear the shit I do to your toothbrush after you go to bed, then.” Kid laughs. “Killer, get me another drink.” 

Killer grabs two more glasses before filling one for himself and another for his captain. After handing the stein to Kid, the captain takes a few heavy gulps and drains the cup halfway before setting it back down on the counter. You scoff and pick up your own glass and move to hop off your barstool. 

“Where ye headed little one?” Kid asks and takes another drink. 

“Away from you.” You respond coldly. 

“You’ll stay and drink with me. Captain’s orders.” He commands. 

You pause. 

You settle yourself back onto the stool and take a drink. 

“You’re an ass.” 

“I’m your captain, that’s what matters.” He says without looking at you. 

You roll your eyes again. 

“How is it you’ve gotten this far in the Grand Line acting like such an incompetent prick?” You ask before you take another gulp from your beer. 

“Y/n…” Killer says with warning. 

“How is it that you’ve lived this long without me throwing your ungrateful, bratty ass overboard?” Kid shoots back at you. 

You were too busy chugging your beer to respond. 

“Most likely because you can’t stop thinking about her bratty ass itself.” Killer says casually as he lifts his mask to drink his beer. 

“Oi? What’re you implyin’ then?” Kid asks with a growl across the bar top. 

“I’m not implying shit. We’re all tired of the tension between you two and wish you’d just take her to bed already.” Killer informs his captain and best friend. 

“HAH!” You laugh out lout, spraying droplets of beer from your lips across the table. “Like I’d let that happen.” You turn to your captain as you drain your drink. “You’re not taking me to bed. Not now, not ever.” You chuckle as you push your glass towards Killer indicating for him to pour you a fresh one. 

“Yeah? Like I’d ever bed this fuckin’ nightmare.” Kid slurps down more alcohol as he puts his thumb out to gesture towards you. “All she does is bitch at me all day.” 

“Bitch at you? You mean care about your well-being?” You scoff. “Gods forbid anyone care about wether you live or die!” You take several heavy drinks from your glass. 

“It’s not your business wether-“ Kid starts. 

You rise from your stool and set your beer down. 

“I’m going to bed, I’ve had enough idiocy for one evening.” You leave the galley to head to your room.

A few silent seconds go by after the clink of the stein hits the wooden bar top.

“Oh shut up. Go find her.” Killer states and grabs the glass from his captain’s grip.

But I'm getting ahead of myself and skipping to the regulars first so that I can get some funny scenarios out of my head first.

First, Mihawk has watched this girl grow up and probably saw the fall out after shortly after Zeff butchered her hair. When he asked about it, he gave Zeff the most unimpressed look Zeff has ever received because good fuck he could have just braided it until they got into town? That's all he says about that because Sanji is still upset her hair is gone. Then some years later he's calling Zeff and asking when Sanji changed her gender and Zeff is confused because she hasn't but anyone and everyone are calling her a boy, even that crew she set off with. Mihawk is staring out of his office with the denden with an empty gaze as the greenhaired moron he almost slaughtered on the deck of Baratie is in his castle with one of his fellow warlords first mates and he's having a time but at least that hasn't changed.

Buggy is also probably really confused about 'Black Leg Sanji' and "his feats" and when Garp is arresting him they're debating whether or not Sanji would be a good marine until Garp calls her a boy and Buggy corrects him. Garp is staring down at the clown who looks back and is like 'wait, wait. Zeff's called her "princess" and you never questioned why he would call his son that?' to Garp's non-committal shrug of 'He's Zeff.' which, okay yeah, sure. It's Zeff but Zeff never used it in a derogatory manor. Sanji is quite literally his princess. She is the princess of the Baratie that Buggy used to do card tricks for because Zeff had no idea what the hell to do with kids.

Now onto the hilarity because East Blue Poly would be exceptionally hilarious. They all start dating and Sanji thinks Nami is going through a sexuality crisis because she's a girl where as Nami thinks Sanji's a boy and it's never cleared up. Sanji looks particularly butch because it made her life easier at Baratie, and she doesn't want to ruin dresses and skirts and blouses with cooking or blood. She also just never really wore make up unless Baratie was closed for some celebration or something, when she had a reason to doll up because she was so busy. Also she wakes up and goes to bed before and after everyone else so no one catches she's a girl. I think the hilarious exception of Ace clocking it in Alabasta and telling Luffy he's got the prettiest girl and the best cook wrapped in one is an amazing thing and Luffy goes with it but still asks why Ace called Sanji a girl and Ace is confused now. They never clear it up.

When Sanji is training and everyone is talking about forcing her into dresses Sanji is like 'I don't need to be forced, I love dresses! I just don't like ruining them with blood.' and coming back to Sabaody with a few dresses, skirts, blouses, more fem clothing and everyone is like 'you don't have to wear those if they make you uncomfortable' is sending some weird messages to her so she just doesn't wear them still. For the wrong reasons and everyone is confused. Like WCI when Sanji's in her wedding dress and fighting and mourning the blood on the dress and Luffy and Nami are asking her why she's in one because she doesn't wear that stuff and Sanji says she thought they didn't like them on her and the very quick explanation of 'we thought you were a boy!' is Sanji going 'How?' as Nami complains she had a sexuality crisis for nothing until Luffy asks about him, Zoro, and Usopp; Nami concedes that the crisis wasn't for nothing then.

Nami makes sure she's in a kimono like she and Robin are as an apology because they didn't realize that Sanji was a girl and was just dressing for convenience, she's not a boy and was a princess and she is loved.

Also my con was lovely but I'm so glad it's over.

im willing to bet that this belief is also one that was sourced from credos/jang-cheol, just like the rock paper scissors game and just the farming/pacifism schtick as a whole. it probably played a part in how he had to convince the demons to follow him in the first place,,,

this could also indicate that living honestly and working to earn is a principle that jang-cheol followed in korea, and he decided that he would stick with it when he became credos. alternatively, he had the complete opposite principle (he was a gamer after all, with a max level character,,, could imply that he spent all his time on the game) but when he got transmigrated, he realized that he had another shot at making a living honestly and decided to commit to that. there isn't really enough to make a solid conclusion on how jang-cheol lived, but this is an interesting indicator and i think it's worth a bookmark! i hope the prequel gets a manhwa so i can read it,,, manifesting,,,

about gene!!!

we made her for the purpose of an unfinished fic. shes supposed to be the "maidler" (maid+butler) of ai seeyu, who we hc is fiiiilthy rich. she and ai are best friends, and they have this sort of symbiotic relationship?

ai does all the talking when guests are over, and generally does anything that needs any sort of Smarts, because gene doesnt like to speak much and isnt very book smart. on the other side though, gene loves to do house chores and take care of ai, and do basically anything that needs heavy lifting, which we hc ai cant do due to disability.

theyre around the same age id say? im not really sure. gene doesnt attend the school as of the fic, but i like to think it starts attending after the events of said fic!!!!! she hangs out with the one star students pretty much exclusively. shes really shy.

also yes her design and name are a vague nod to the jackbox character gene! we conceptualized her first with the idea of a maid/butler character that we could make a fesh pince joke out of, so we started with the nickname "g" and bibi just went uhhh GENE for its actual name LOL

lucky we first thought of with the concept of "sor oc with a voiceclaim of skullvolver" that i THINK came right after the godgame stream with the iconic payphone bit?? cause we were like oh skull is the only one on this stream not in sor. thatd be funny to make as a joke. ...it was quickly no longer a joke. the voiceclaim part isnt super serious though LOL he sounds like that annoying ppl as spiderman bit

we came up with the name lucky hapigo because name puns are very fitting with sor, and it kinda fit well with the personality we wanted to give him!!!! lucky is basically as his name says!!! happy go lucky!!!! hes in the hero club, a very small club of two tokusatsu type heroes who get no work because raven is saving the day all the time before they get a chance. hes pissed at her for it.

initially i was gonna make raven and lucky cousins? im still on the fence about it. currently not canon to his lore but idk it still could be LOL

Explanations:

OTP: Hayashigeki - Theyre stupid, I love their dynamic. Its such a delight seeing them on screen together. Shigeki being head over heels for Mai and caring so much about her makes me so happy considering his past

Hayatari - I grew to love their dynamic after Watari’s “homoerotic rant” part in the warden episode. I think theyre fun

Hirojima and Hasemura - This would be way too long if I went into why I like these ships

Love:

Wama - I heart Wama as of tonight. Thinking about it, theyre such a cute dynamic. Watazaki - I love them so much but I think its down slightly because I have a major bias AGAINST Okazaki and Watari deserves better than that

Manasaki, Manatari, Tsuhama, Watamba - I actually have no basis for shipping them, I just think theyre cute

Nakamigeki - Outing myself as a Nakamigeki lover, chat. I just think they are absolutely hilarious. I really hope we get more scenes of them together, specifically Nakamigawa not being bitchy to Shigeki, because Nakamigawa seems to be trying to be better.

Cresswell - The age difference isn't really a factor for me, yes its weird but lowkey I forgot thorne was 20 and cress was 16 while I was reading cress. I like the headcanon that thorne had a fake id to sneak into bars and is actually 18 but forgot and just told everyone he was 20. Even so... they're odd for me. I don't know I guess I just dont like the naive inexperienced girl x experienced guy trope? I liked them a lot more in winter than I did in cress. I think its because the pining was more mutual then. I don't hate them, and I did enjoy some of their moments but out of all the canon ships theyre the weakest for me. I like them better when theyre interacting with other people, like wolf or jacin for cress and cinder or kai for thorne.

ok so honestly Im still not sure how exactly they would meet,, maybe MINCY ends up witnessing BASIL getting bullied by some other kids and she somehow ends up standing up for him with the courage she received from KEL and SUNNY during the summer, the bullies scramble before things get nastier maybe,, they end up walking to BASIL‘S house to have POLLY help them patch up the wounds his bullies inflicted on him maybe?? idk,, I just think they’d meet post true end and eventually end up kinda?? friends,, problem is that BASIL doesn’t really want to get attached to MINCY because of his abandonment issues plus she’d kinda remind him of SUNNY and he’d feel like a heartless monster for using her as a rebound while MINCY isn’t sure if BASIL considers her as a friend either due to her having trust issues of some sort maybe,, so they both label their relationship as acquaintances so their first interactions are a bit awkward at first but eventually they get closer and they both end up developing some sort of understanding for one another,,

BASIL eventually sees MINCY as her own person and ends up admiring her passion and her patient, open-minded and somewhat eccentric nature while MINCY loosens up a bit more around BASIL and open up to him more,, they end up trusting eachother and open up to eachother‘s problems and hardships but decide to overcome them together,, hence why BASIL ends up assigning MINCY the clematis flower in my hc as this flower can represent the state of aspiring to reach higher places and overcoming obstacles ( which also comes from the name clematis in ancient greek κληματίς : clēmatís, ("a climbing plant") from κλήμα : klḗma – 'twig, sprout, tendril') and are considered flowers of travel,,

Overall this ship is about two quiet and shy outcasts who find comfort, understanding and solace in eachother‘s presence and to me this ship is mostly about healing (mostly on BASIL’S part), acceptance of vulnerability and reaching for the stars so to speak,,

I feel like once they both get closer they’d be seen as shy, reserved and well-mannered to everyone else but when it’s these two only they would become a lot more playfully snarky and sassy at eachother and generally a lot more peculiar,,

Im not the best at explaining things cuz the most you can get from are incoherent sobbing but I hope you can see the vision somehow ^^;;
