Mandi.

Bayangkan, mandi adalah kegiatan membasuh badan dengan air, sabun, shampoo, sikat gigi dengan odol, cuci muka cantik, mengguyur sana sini, dingin, hangat. Kegiatan ini seakan jadi ritual wajib pagi hari jika seseorang hendak menjalani harinya tidak dirumah saja. Adapun, sebagai pelengkap akan wanginya realita, kegiatan ini seolah menjadi keharusan di sore hari pada kaum setia kamar untuk menghindari cuat warga satu rumah. Menghindari kontroversi berujung pedih menyayat hati, mewarnai hari dengan rasa malas berlebih yang berakhir mandi terpaksa pada malam hari.

Adapun mandi termasuk kebutuhan bukan sekunder bukan tersier. Air bak harus tersedia sebagai satu syarat utama. Kedua berupa niat, jangan lupa berdoa. Intinya, mandi ini kegiatan sepele semi rutin yang cukup kompleks, sayangnya orang tidak menyadarinya.

Oh ayolah, siapa yang tidak mager saat bangun tidur? Semua orang pernah, apalagi di hari khusus berleha-leha. Mandi ini tuntutan. Mengisi ruang dengan luang yang berfaedah. Kebiasaan ini bagusnya dapat membawa nama harum keluarga di mata dunia. menghapus sisa-sisa perjuangan begadang semalam dengan cuci sabun seluruh tubuh. Melunturkan malas seharian. Sudah sadar? Ajaib banget, bukan?

Nah, ini dia salah satu luang dengan benefit. Akan lebih benefit lagi kalau sore juga melakukan ritual serupa meski handphone keburu merenggut ruang kosong itu. Padahal mandi cuma butuh 5 menit, apa susahnya sih?

Jadi, siapa yang mau “mandi” setelah ini? Because your precious space is to fulfill your greatest spare time.

new @riesenlied character Isan, one of the ill-fated successors of the golden age prophet lore:

This is a giant raised by the church of Golden Age Prophet Dayas Welikanate and prepared all his life to be one of her successors. Her plan was to be succeeded by a council of scholars so that the burden of spiritual leadership in the Welikanate would not rest on only one heir alone and be more distributed. But that did not go as expected. After her passing all of these scholars broke down, one by one, each in their own way. And each of them went down another rabbit hole to get through that. Isan, the "best" and most religious of that entire group, was the last one to break. To cope with the prophet's death he had delved deep into old scripture and chronicles. And discovered something that destroyed everything he had believed in. When he confided in his closest friend (another scholar heir) about it, that friend reacted by stabbing him with a bayonet. Isan barely survived and escaped the country (along with a part of the prophetic guard), asking for asylum in the human-led part of the world. There he wrote "Divine Lessons. A study in reconnecting Gods gifts with history". A book that tricks a religious reader by appearing "normal" at the start, only to subtly lead someone to the same realisations the author had towards the end. Citing many sources for every claim. Copies of that book were then smuggled into his home country, wreaking havoc. Destroying the faith of many. And starting a modern anti-theist movement. He started going by "Vito" ("torch"). As many later demonised him claiming that wherever he holds a speech, churches soon burn. He made a habit of getting a new tattoo for each new assassination attempt he survived. (Most of which were ordered and paid by that former best friend.) By that time of that last picture (where he is recording some podcast while vaping) he is no longer the main leader figure of the movement he had started, and is seen as a washed up celebrity by some. A bit of an edgelord who has run out of fucks to give a long time ago. Some find it nonsensical that part of the Prophetic Guard (a church organisation responsible for protecting the prophet and her heirs and making sure their voices are heard) had followed Isan into exile despite him turning against the faith (and are the reason how he has survived all those assassination attempts so far). The Guard claims that each of the scholar heirs embodies part of Dayas thinking. And that she, too, had held an amount of doubt and resentment to the faith. Making Vito still part of her legacy that the guard is sworn to protect.

Coalition IAR-2 Abolisher Robot

Originally released on p. 35 of Rifts Sourcebook 1

The Abolisher, Infantry Assault Robot (IAR-2), is another giant vehicle that is part of the Coalition States' military forces. Unlike the UAR-1 Enforcer, which is designed specifically to combat ground troops in an urban/city environment, the Abolisher is a frontline infantry unit with long-range capabilities and heavy firepower for obliterating enemy troops. The focus of its armaments is anti-robot and anti-tank, hence the six heavy cannons bristling around what appears to be the head. The rim of cannons has given the 30 foot (9 m) robot the nickname 'Thorn Head."

The heavily armored bot is a massive, humanoid shaped, all terrain assault vehicle designed to withstand heavy bombardment. However, in keeping with the frightening Death's Head motif, the Abolisher is designed to look like a massive skull with arms and legs. The two eyes are infra-red and conventional light searchlights for night assaults. The upper skull body can rotate 360 degrees and is operated by a five-man crew. Two soldiers are gunners operating three cannons each, the pilot and the copilot/communications engineer (either the pilot or copilot can fire the small, forward facing, dual laser turret) and the top hatch gunner, usually a SAMAS.

The big guns are devastating weapons that can blast an enemy from all sides simultaneously. The robot's arms and hands are powerful and lethal in hand to hand confrontations (can rotate 180 degrees at the shoulders). On top of the behemoth is a Gunner's Hatch which allows a SAMAS or soldier to perch himself on the head and fire at the enemy from the top of the robot. An inner hatch locks automatically, preventing the enemy from easy access should the top gunner be killed; the inner hatch can only be opened by one of the pilots.

The only real disadvantage to the 30 foot (9 m) giant is that its incredible weight and large size reduce its speed and maneuvering capabilities. Although great in the field as an outer perimeter defense or as an infantry assault unit (tank with arms and legs), its speed and size make it an easy target (hence the heavy armor). Unless one wishes to destroy a city, the bot is not well suited for city conflicts. Its weapons are too powerful for use in the city, able to demolish an S.D.C. skyscraper in mere moments, and its size and bulk makes maneuvering through narrow streets difficult. Still, it is excellent for city defense, being able to be placed wherever needed, and ideal for infantry combat.
