My first audition for a (main stage) college show is today!! I’ve decided to just go in relaxed and with no expectations, considering I haven’t really had time to practice and I’ll have more opportunities later :)

#personal #GODDDDDDD fuck ive thrown up three or four times today and have had horrible other stomach problems and now on top of all that im pretty #sure this has exacerbated my period symptoms bc now my lower back hurts like hell and my legs are so achy and every time istand up i get #lightheaded #it took me a fucking hour to make a smoothie for myself bc i kept feeling weak and at one point had to run upstairs to Expel My Insides in #the middle of it #also all of this means no auditions for me today 👍🏻 messaged director to let her know i wouldn’t be coming in and also to ask her to tell #stage manager that despite my bailing on this i do plan to be involved in crew still 👍🏻 since the stage manager told me she’d see me at #auditions since she’s part of the audition committee. anyway director messaged back saying i could do an email audition which was very #nice of her so i guess im supposed to send a vid of me singing + reading some sides + following a choreographed routine once she sends me #the guide for that which she said she would do later… since she like just said that im guessing it will be like 9 at least by the time she #gets it to me so hopefully it’s fine if i do that tmrw morning instead of tonight bc i don’t want to disturb my roommates #<- we are all students btw sorry this is making it sound like i have a weirdly informal relationship w the audition committee #the music chronicles #anyway also emailed asking if i could take work off tmrw bc i still feel like shit and don’t want them scrambling to figure out the #schedule tmrw morning if i had called then instead. they haven’t replied yet tho #also i feel like. sick bc tmrw is MLK jr day and like what if theyre thinking i thought we had the day off and am now finding out we don’t #and just spitting out an excuse to not come in bc i made plans for it or smth… ugh #lke it would be fine if it were just this but I also requested Feb 7 off not long ago and last week my testing went so overtime like they #are going to think im slacking so bad… :/#i am straight up not having a good time ‼️#cw emetophobia #also if i am still sick tmrw that means no working on crony with lab partner either since we meet on mondays ☹️ was looking forward to that #even if im not sick actually i still shouldn’t go bc i called off work and we work on it in the same building as my workplace so if they #saw me that wouldn’t be great #the engineering chronicles

Whyyyy is the regional manager so OBSESSED with getting rid of the winter shit?? It's still december what is your problem?? We don't get bathing suits in til February calm your ass!!

And she was like "the big coat rack needs to come down." WE STILL HAVE SO MANY PALLETS IN THE STEEL! YOU JUST CAME TWO DAYS AFTER CHRISTMAS BITCH!!

Our manager was like "if you can cram it full, and I mean FULL of kids coats, you can keep it. Otherwise it's going away til September."

And I had to swipe aaaaall my low items to be liquidated on the baby side and fill fill fill (still had a space left... I just threw messy stacks of onesies sgdgdggdgd)

And it's like I have 10 fucking playsets but I can't pull them bc they're on order and it's like bro... I'm good at remembering how much we have/what we have... but I ain't gonna remember those if we put them in a box until we get the refill...

And I still didn't even get done with all the liquidations bc I didn't get to the big kids side and I have to find out if I have any stragglers of open robe packages (it said -5 inventory... bitch I have 71+ wtf do you mean?)

And I was able to change my endcap to fill a big chunk of the baby table, but I have limited quantities and this shit will SELL I know it 😩 girl fucking HELP

Oh and an audit on the pjs that I have 1500 of ☺️ yay... (I'm not allowed to do audits but sometimes they pull me to count my items bc I know where everything is)

anyway when i was leaving the building i ended up walking with maestro in the hall briefly and he asks me how i'm doing and i say "tired" and he's like "me too. sorry about that" (meaning the extra long rehearsal tonight) and i say "we needed it" (unfortunately we really do) and he says something to me about how people really need to listen and follow through when they're told they need to practice early and diligently for hard rep like this. i'm not sure if he regrets programming it or not by now. it's just starting to come together but "four days before the concert" is not when you want things to JUST start to come together...well on my way out he said that our rep next semester should be lighter at least

#ada speaks #untagged #not tagging this but #i am curious to know everyone else's rankings #ive really only seen polls and that doesn't rank them properly bc its like. one vote per person #its hard to rank a lot of the seasons bc like. i fucking love the first two eps of s7 and i think frank's pretty woman is #one of the most solid eps in the entire series #but as a whole i think there are a lot of weak eps in s7 #frank's brother absolutely blows. sorry rcg. i don't particularly care for storm of the century. audited is Fine. ANTI-social is Fine.#9 has a stretch of 3 eps i enjoy and then the rest are meh #15 got fucked over because i. absolutely fucking adore the ireland eps. so much #and even roller rink i enjoyed on its own. its fun if you consider it noncanon. botched continuity and retconning piss me off but.#i dont care for the first two eps of 15 at all though and there are Less eps to like in 15 (because less overall) than smthn like s3 #tierlist #rankings

something abt realizing you're listening to someone sing for the last time really hits in an awful way

#so there's this girl who's a year above me and to say that she's good at singing is an understatement. if the goddess of song #herself were to appear in front of me or anyone who's ever heard a note come from her mouth and asked which one was more talented the only #appropriate answer would be that the goddess pales in comparison. i first heard her voice at the auditions for our middle school musical in #the sixth grade and i've been in shock and awe ever since. it's in the name of her voice that i decided i wanted to learn how to write musi #bc i cannot sing but wanted nothing more than some sort of reason to stand next to her. and by some twist of fate. i took music theory last #semester and guess who ended up sitting directly next to me. and who i also said no more than maybe 5-10 words to the entire time. . whoops #in my (and her) defense. it's not like she's unapproachable or anything. she's one of the genuinely kindest people i've ever encountered bu #the problem is. it's a music theory class. i was the only one in it not affiliated w the music department. and everyone in it had known eac #other for 4-7 years. even my like. actual friend in the class was ignoring me a lil (he wasn't he was just hanging out w his closer friends #and so i kept to myself the entire semester bc i didn't want to feel like i was intruding on anything + am terminally shy #(like. to the point where i get physically ill bc of it)#flash forward to today in ap world w our song parody project. our teacher was showing past examples from previous classes and guess who too #the class last year. and ofc. you Do Not get [name redacted] working on a project w/out having her sing for you #her group made a stalin-themed mr sandman parody and our teacher paused the video halfway through and it was my own personal 9/11 #bc there's no good reason for our paths to ever cross again. unless she becomes some celebrity. which i have no doubt she could if merit wa #the only factor at play there. i will never hear her voice again and i'm not sure what i'm going to do abt that.#romeo.txt

#1:40am and still no email about callbacks #my brain. is officially. spiraling.#i'm literally about to search my email for past production emails to see what time callbacks were sent #i know that last time it was sent at like 9:30am the next day. but they told us we'd hear back the following morning.#this time they said we'd hear back tonight. and it's now 1:40am. i... i understand a lot of people auditioned #but i'm freaking out that i haven't heard anything #yeah ok i checked for a different one and the email came at 1am and that was LATE. we were all like oh wow so late.#multiple people assumed they didn't get called back because 1am felt so late to be emailed.#but it's 1:45am now. i guess i am not getting a callback. i guess i should just accept that? and then maybe #if i wake up tomorrow morning to an email then i'll be happy. if i don't then i guess... i've accepted it?#still sad #i'll still be involved in it even if i'm not cast so not the END of the world. but i REALLY wanted to be cast this time.#ahhhhhhhhhhh #please email me and offer me a callback pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee #and if i don't get offered a callback then i also don't get an official rejection until like thursday at the earliest.#and i really just want the rejection right away. in general that's what i want. the limbo and waiting is the worst part.#ahhhh

I hit past like 2pm and Im just riding out the rest of the work day in an attempt to survive at this point

#9 to 5 hell #i got two hours of sleep and i think everyone can tell #but it doesnt help that i was given a bunch of responsibilities without being properly explained what they were or how to do them #and then with every single one it's turned out the previous guy not only taught me wrong but also was doing them wrong himsf #himself #so i have to learn how to do them at the same time that i am trying to fix them #and he also left during audit season. and apparently he did like all of the audit submissions. so now im supposed to.#except neither i nor the other guy in the accounting department know what im supposed to be submitting #so he's wanting to teach me but he literally cant because he's suddenly swamped with all of the responsibilities he gave to our old coworker #that i cant help him take on bc i dont know wtf im doing #and he's too busy to teach me #im so.#hhhhhhhhhhhhghgggggggghhh

#like i knowwww my college result is shitty but this degree is shitty and useless??? it's a dumb local college that noone gives a fuck about #it's really not gonna help anywhere at all #and i did the best i could but i can't even study for important exams how do you expect me to study for useless exams #PLUS not that you care 🙄🙄 but i gave those exams in the middle of a bank audit which was like i was at work #from 11 to 9 pm something #stupid pathetic #and other people who've scored much much muchhh less than me (failed really people fail so much even people who are super in studies)#they don't even care and this stupid college wrote 'first class with distinction' in a 7.3 gpa so like just be happy with it?? 🙄🙄🙄
