I'm not here to stir up shit. I've got no skin in this game anymore, but I think it's important to remind the community about just how long these communication issues have been prevalent amongst Thomas productions. For example, I was at my peak-obsession with Sander Sides at 14. The signs started cropping up of a sinking ship while I was in my first year of high school. Disgruntled artists, lackadaisical deadlines, and silenced staff members were the norm. Now I'm about to turn 21.

I haven't watched more than like, 8 episodes of once piece, but i just want to say that i'm loving your live(?) blogging of the episodes as you go. especially all the sanji x luffy, it's all very cute in general but also how excited you get about it is fantastic.
that's all! i just love seeing people passionately enjoy things.
AAGFGHGHF THANK YOU OMG........I feel like I've been REALLY annoying talking about Sanlu nonstop but I'm glad at least somebody is enjoying it lmao. But if there's one place where I SHOULD have no filter and feel free to talk about my ships constantly, it should be my own blog right. LOL
Essentially,

“alcoholism is slowly destroying Leon’s body” jokes aside, Leon really is starting to look old in Death Island in a way that is not at all forcing me to confront my own mortality, I swear
the alcoholism is starting to destroy his body, though. someone please spray this bitch with a hose and then hold him down and shave his face.

the day that network & studio execs finally get over their relentless obsession with cop shows and pre-existing ip and pre-existing ip in the form of cop shows will the day i finally know peace.
every goddamn show is "based on the novel" "based on the 1993 series" "based on this app where you throw hats at a potato" "the seventeenth spin-off set in the world of ncis" like please i'm begging you to just pick up one of the zillion new ideas that writers have been bringing you. there are so many incredible original pilots and series concepts being written every goddamn day and the people in charge of the money in this town are just like..... hmmmmm but instead could it be about an undercover cop who once had a run in with the team on law and order: toronto, and he has to solve a case based on this true crime novel i picked up at an airport last month?

Nightow naming the chapter 'Wolfwood' has always stuck with me, specifically because of the way it makes the chapter end:
We spend a short amount of time at the end of this chapter with the brief belief that Wolfwood might actually be fine. Us, the readers, alongside Vash, are temporarily allowed a moment of denial before reality comes crashing down again.
And then this. Something as simple as the chapter's end notice, here to inform you that no, this is the end. The end of Wolfwood - the chapter and character, both.

back in early 2021 for zinefest I made these tiny little bookshelf zines (with about 28 pages/books in each)
It's been a few years since I've done zinefest but I'm finally updating them and it is SO funny to see the vast difference in just a couple years, both in what I've read & would put in rec lists and how I write my silly little bullet points about each one.
these are very like early-booktok vibe when the energy was just 'here's a list of 20 [type of queer] books! stop saying there are no [type of queer] books I swear to god! there are so many thousands of books that exist!' whereas now it's like. okay we know there's lots I'm going to be a lot more picky and discerning about what I actually recommend and how I recommend them lol. shoutout to me for writing little bullet point descriptions for every books I've read in the last 3.5 years though, makes it easy to put these together
