I was actually just thinking about this a few days ago myself and it's definitely hard to know for sure. John Dory and Floyd are both AMAZING characters, and I don't know what BroZone would be without them, but we just don't know too much about their characters yet to really know what they might have done or been into during their lives outside of the band.

John Dory did mention living on the Neverglade trail or sumptin' lol, so maybe he liked hikes (wuttt?!! ahsnioefosoj) or maybe there's some hidden meaning in therreee that I'm too dumb to figure out XDDD hellppp 💀💀 I do think John Dory did not find Rhonda until after he left BroZone for sure tho, and that since he didn't have his bros she kind of took their place for entertainment and something to love and such. So there was that. JD does also seem like the type of guy to explore and see what he can find. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he found out about all the other different kinds of trolls before Branch and Poppy did! (who out there rlly loves the new ship DawnDory?!! Omigosh, I don't rlly ship them, but I think they would be HILARIOUS ex's!!)

Floyd is definitely harder because he seems to be pretty chill. Your writing way is beyond good. Your way of using your advanced vocabulary in such a crystal clear way that everything is pictured so good is a heck and killer of your skill. Have you listened to the new Broadway recordings for Sweeney Todd that are being released rn?! Im not the biggest fan of this particular musical but /oh my gods/ the vocalists are FANTASTIC. I actually ENJOY listening to 'Johanna' when these guys sing it!

(And like Johnny's movie Sweeney is like "I hate the world cause I'm emo" and Josh Groban's is like "I hate mankind because society has wronged me." And it has so much more depth to it that I enjoy!

Absolutely I have been loving the heck out of every release! Sweeney Todd is a favorite Sondheim show of mine for the way all of the strings tie into one another and the tragedy of not just man but the endless circle of revenge. The opening number gives me chills everytime I’ve listened to it and the Johanna Reprise is an absolute delight! Loved hearing more of the major cast ^^ so yes! Honestly trying to see if I can somehow scrape up enough money to go see it live... it’s unlikely... but I’m trying!

The movie suffers from a lot of the same things as other adaptions and that is the cut content. Sondheim shows in particular are built in a way that not only the story builds and ties into itself but the music does too. Cutting out a song can lose a lot and where I agree for a movie cutting the opening number makes sense it also removes a lot of Sweeney’s charisma. You get a peek right off the bat of just how dark this show is going to be. I genuinely think Johnny did... fine! As far as a movie adaption goes its solid— but the full show is a very different creature ^^

What do we think is the appeal of ATL doing a show with The used? As far as I'm concerned they're two completely different genres and vibes. Was the used just willing to let ATL tag along since every other band that tours with them is reamed out since the allegations? I don’t think it’s that complicated. The emo nostalgia train is insanely popular with millennials rn and TU and ATL just so happen to be two big names from the Warped Tour scene who are touring rn. And like I’ve said before, Torri is a big fan of both. I think there’s a lot more overlap than you might think.

Literally the guys have noticed your mood and how you haven't been talking to them much

So when the Adlers show up, it's almost a welcome relief in a sense

They greet the team, shaking hands and greeting you

"Hey YN it's good to see you!"- Hirugami, the Adlers captain says

"You too!" You say returning a greeting

You hear chatter behind you from Atsumu but you ignore it

He's top of the shit list right now we all know it

After greeting the team, Hirugami asks if you can help them tape up

You happily agree, doing so as Meian makes an off handed comment

"Wow YN, you look happy to be helpign the enemy"- he says as he turns to walk away

Please, that one hurt and honestly it was a low blow

But you don't say anything, Hirugami noticing your shift in mood

At the start of the practice game, Heiwajima asks if you can fill up the teams water bottles

Again, you agree because you are there to help out

Unfortunately MSBY is petty and Sakusa just HAS to say something

"Geez YN you don't have be so happy, they asked you to fill their water bottles not manage their team"- Sakusa Kiyoomi, 2nd on the shit list

Because enough see, while you see filling water bottles, you start to cry

You stop in your tracks because what did he just say?

The Adlers stop and look at you, MSBY stops and looks at you

You felt the rage boiling up, on top of the hurt you feel from everything that has been going on

You start to breath heavily, trying to control your tears as you walk over to the Adlers handing them their water bottles and towels, you silently turn to MSBY and walk up to them

With tears flowing down your cheeks, you speak

"So you really think I don't do anything for you huh? You think I'm being a bitch. Well I'm sorry I don't feel good, I'm sorry I haven't been sleeping, I'm sorry I have a fucking uterus that is about to bleed and ruin my fucking life for an entire week. But oh by ALL MEANS let me drop everything I'm doing to cater to a bunch of fucking JERKS who can't even say THANK YOU!" You scream as tears run down your face

Yes, our current Wanda has the same physical appearance as Wanda 838 - honestly i don't know why the heck they decided to keep her a redhead after Endgame or even Wandavision, but because we follow the same idea here as the variant, that is a retired Wanda who focused her life on being a mother and enjoy her family life (and not be a fugitive anymore, of course), there's no reason for Wanda to remain a redhead like, at all give me back my brunette Wanda you cowards!

Yes, there are plans for more Avengers to appear as the story unfolds (and the prediction is that there will be about ten chapters in all btw, not to mention the one shots that i'm still dying to write to add more content to this universe bc well, i'm gay).

Honestly, i don't think there's more room in both R's and Wanda's lives for them to be superheroes again. Although they do care about helping people as a whole, those days are behind them and now their focus is just living an ordinary life (even if for different reasons) - superpowers are just mere consequences, details. Wanda might still focus on her magical studies with Agatha, but not in a way where she uses those powers to defend the world in the vigilante kind of way (she just knows her importance as a Scarlet Witch to the wizarding community, but is more like a mystical figure than as a hero per se). None of them really had a sense of heroism like Steve or Sam, for example, and they just did it because that's kind of what they felt they had to do at the time, being teenagers with superpowers. But probably their focus right now is just raising the twins and living a peaceful life.

Yes, there will still be some flashbacks about R and Wanda's past as teenagers and the most defining moments of their relationship before the Blip (I just love emo Wanda and want to write more about her ok let me be fjksdjfks), but i do intend to write some specific one-shots about some moments that will end up not getting in the main series - spoiler alert, i'm working on a one shot rn about how teenagers R and Wanda came to the conclusion that they were in love with each other 👀

And finally, Natasha was the closest to R besides Wanda - she kind of saw R as a little sister (since she reminded her a lot of Yelena), and vice versa. That's why a big part of R's post-Blip trauma, in addition to losing her entire family, of course, was witnessing Nat's death and not being able to do anything to stop it. But i think it's also worth mentioning that she had a closer relationship with Sam and Steve, especially after their days as fugitives, yeah... and she kind of had a soft side for Vision, tbh.

Under the cut, as usual!

-Firstly, I love and adore Malik and would give my life for him, he's totally precious. Dumb, soft, dad vibes.

-Asbel is so ridiculously emo, like I feel bad for him but I kinda wanna pick on him too (affectionate). Also like everyone hates this dude. Like I get what he did hurt a lot of people and they don't have to forgive him but Cheria has been so insensitive and Hubert is so cruel now that it's almost a little comical.

-Sophie is precious as always, I wanna give her a big hug. She continues to be my favorite, I want nothing but love and support and happiness for her.

-I really love how much Asbel has been treating Sophie like she's his child or little sister or something. The dynamic is definitely different than all those years ago but it's clear he still cares about her very much, even if he's uncertain if she's really the same Sophie. -And on that note... seriously guys? Like, I know it was years ago so maybe they can't picture her perfectly but how many other girls with purple pigtails, amnesia, super strength, and clothes that make her look like she came from space are hanging around the meadow? Who else could it possibly be? (now watch me be wrong somehow lol) -Despite how she treats Asbel rn I still like Cheria. I heard they get married eventually?? I think they're a little bit cute, I'm rooting for them!

-Richard.... good lord, I am so in love with this man. His appearance, his personality, his voice. But he, on the other hand, seems to be in in love with (or at least quite obsessed with) Asbel, especially since he has now saved his life twice. He won't stop telling him how happy he is to see him, how he's the only person in the world that he trusts, how Asbel was able to make him laugh for the first time in a long time, how when he was in danger again this time he wished Asbel would somehow show up to rescue him again (despite not seeing him for 7 years), and saying things like "I know you, you [would/wouldn't] do something like that" as though the two of them hadn't only hung out for a collective few hours 7 years ago lol. He seems like a very lonely and untrusting man so I can understand how their brief friendship really impacted him all this time.

-Pascal... DO NOT LIKE. The way she treats Sophie makes me very uncomfortable, especially when Sophie is always cowering behind Asbel because she's so scared of being touched by her. I know she's just excited about her research (though she also implied that she thought Sophie had a crush on Richard and that that made Richard her rival so idk...) but I still feel really bad for Sophie. I really wish I could like her because her personality reminds me of Magilou who I love and adore but ehhhh 😬 I dunno, maybe I'm too sensitive or maybe I love Sophie too much or something but I don't find this running gag to be funny or charming. If they don't keep this going the whole game and she eventually drops it I'll probably like her a lot more since I think she's funny in the very few moments where she's not doing that and her design is my favorite so far.

-Now on to the big thing... what the FUCK is going on with Sophie?? Her image in that weird machine??? Richard acting strange/afraid when he's around her? The black smoke things that happened when he touched his hand before? Both of their chests hurting in those catacombs? And then of course... her coming back to life in the same place she was originally found and at the same age she was when she died but... somehow with amnesia again??? I don't really care much about the main plot with the war and all that, I'm just dying to know what the heck is going on with these two. -And lastly, if one more person (Asbel... we know I mean Asbel...) says something about protecting someone or the words "7 years ago" I think I might go berserk and trash the city.

Love your Kai analysis! This lego has got more layers than people give him credit for :'P I'm curious about your thoughts on how fandom has warped other characters? Personally I feel like fanon Lloyd is the most different

Well first of all yes, Fanon Lloyd is very different from Canon Lloyd.

Fanon Lloyd is like.............. This Ultwa Twaumatized bean uwu He’s EMo!!!!! Which yes, I will admit that Lloyd has been through a lot, but gosh the people in this fandom like to hammer it on thick. They turn this kinda awkward teenage boy with daddy issues into this..... Angst machine who feels no positive emotions bc!!! He’s Been Thwough So much!!! Uwu No One who Suffews feews happiness!!!!

Idk, it just rubs me the wrong way because he has so many other attributes besides “He’s the green ninja and BAD THINGS HAVE HAPPENED TO HIM” Like I promise if you use your eyes there’s other stuff.

There’s also the smaller fanon bit that makes it seem like he’s the Almighty Lloyd who can Do No Wrong........... like ok.

Jay gets similar treatments although I think the fandom leans more towards !!!! Awkward Bean!!!! Smol !!!!(Hate that word btw) He’s so anxious!!!!!!!!!!!! wuwuuuwuwuw!!!!!!!!!! Even though that’s like........... Not his character whatsoever..

This is gonna sound weird but I think people see Jay as like a surrogate baby/doll. They wanna put him in cute outfits and make him look just darn cute, but they also want him to crack under ANY sort of social pressure so they can get someone character of the day to take care of him. (Aka whichever character they feel like projecting onto) 

Which........ They can I suppose, it’s their own write to do that, but like they treat it as gospel. As if your own, personal and very self indulgent headcanon is actually canon and if people don’t follow it then they’re.... Idk whichever witch hunting term is popular rn.

Zane has basically been turned into a walking “Haha he’s a robot!” gag character by the fandom. I mean these people think Zane not understanding jokes is the funniest freaking thing in the world. Despite the fact that it’s CANON that the ninja consider him human because of his HUMAN SOUL, most people just like to focus on the android part.

See Zane is one of the only character’s we see ACTUALLY have some sort of consequence for the trauma he’s experienced. We see him struggle through a panic attack and he has to be talked out of it by Pix. We even see him struggle with anxiety regularly in LATER SEASONS.

 And BOY... Does the fandom latch onto that. The fandom focuses more on the fact that it happens instead of how it’s resolved. I just don’t understand how on one hand it’s “He’s a robot!!!!!” and on the other hand “But He has ANXIETY!” 

Like yes, that’s the point. The point is that despite Zane’s body being robotic, his soul is deeply human, perhaps even moreso than some of his teammates.

Cole.... I don’t have much to say for Cole. He’s managed to remain generally unscathed to my knowledge, although sometimes y’all really push the “HE’S STRONG” angle so much that it’s his only personality trait.

Nya.... Oh Nya... Uhhgggg ...... It’s safe to say I HATE Fanon Nya. She’s been turned into the most obnoxious feminist stereotype and it is annoying. The fandom seems OBSESSED with pushing the idea that she is the only useful member of the team. Which is obviously not true. Like do you guys know what the heck a TEAM IS????

This is also where I bring up the weird culture of bullying the characters because.... A lot of the time I see said bullying is pushing the other characters down to make Nya look better.

Like I’ll be honest, I’ve never been a fan of Nya, I used to hate her in earlier seasons, but now she’s more bearable. But Oh my LORd... The fandom pushes Nya’s awful flaws to and ELEVEN and then acts like they’re virtues. Like you think Canon Kai has an ego?? Look at freaking fanon Nya she’ll give him a run for his money.

Safe to say that this particular fanon, aside from Kai’s, makes me the most angry.

Pix also gets the treatment of being put on a pedestal. I suspect it’s just because they’re girls, since tumblr is obsessed with em, but who knows. 

Generally I’ve seen Pix keep her very GENERAL personality, but it’s still made annoying by the fandom. They make her humble character into a judgmental and harsh one. they take the women who can calmly talk Zane out of a mental breakdown, and turn her into an egotistical quiet spoken jerk. 

I just don’t know how it’s done.

Y’all already know how I feel about Kai’s fanon. Absolute garbage, throw it away, thank you very much.

For a bonus, here’s Skylor. Skylor, like all of the girls, is also put up on a pedestal. It’s not nearly as bad as Pix and Nya though and that’s when i thank the stars she’s a side character. 

Generally the fandom just ignores her personality altogether and creates whatever the fluff they want. I can’t even describe it. I guess flirtatious minx? And that’s it? Like what are you going for here.

After the first time that they went out for dinner, it became a weekly ritual between Logan and Roman to go to some nice-ish restaurant to eat. It was a good way for each of them to mellow down after a stressful week of dealing with patients or having to wrangle a bunch of seven-year-olds. It was a nice way to become better friends. This time, however, Roman had mentioned that he had never seen “The Theory of Everything,” and Logan almost took personal offense to that.

“Even if you aren’t going to watch it for the scientific aspects, you can appreciate how good looking Eddie Redmayne is!” Logan had argued as he unlocked the front door to his house, which he then repeated when he remembered that Roman couldn’t hear what he had said.

He had put the movie into the DVD player, and he had fully intended to watch it, but then he looked over at Roman and became entranced. Roman had his attention fully on the movie, and the shifting blue and yellow light made his features glow. Logan’s gaze shifted to his lips, which were painted the same deep red as his eyeliner. They looked soft and smooth, obviously well cared for. That wasn’t surprising, really; Roman put a lot of stock into making himself look the best he could. It was just… admirable. Right. It was simply admirable that Roman wanted to look nice.

That was all.

Truly.

Logan wasn’t crushing on his good friend.

Nope.

Maybe…

He was.

He’d fallen in love with Roman.

Fuck.

“What’s on your mind, Logan?”

The sudden question caused the aforementioned man to jolt back as if he’d been burned. “I just–It’s…”

“Hey,” Roman said in his soft, gentle voice. “You can tell me anything, okay? I’m not going to hurt you.”

“I…” Should he say anything? It could ruin their friendship. Worse, it could ruin things for Virgil and Patton, and Logan loved those kids more than he’d loved anything else.

“Just breathe. In and out. Got that? In… and out… Good.”

It took a minute, but Logan finally calmed himself down. And then he looked back up at Roman’s caring face, and he just about lost his shit again. In fact, he did. He did lose his shit because he very quietly said, “I want to kiss you.”

And then that small smile on Roman’s face grew just a bit, and he said, “I want to kiss you, too.”

Which was definitely not something that would rationally happen, so Logan had absolutely started to hallucinate. But then Roman leaned in, and Logan’s hands gently clutched at the collar of Roman’s shirt, and they both closed their eyes, and–

“Ha! Called it. Under ten weeks, baby! Fork over the money!” Patton’s voice called out from the front hall, and Logan nearly fell off the couch in shock. Both adults looked up to find a giggling Virgil, who was clinging to Patton.

“I… I thought you weren’t going to come home until ten,” Logan murmured.

“Virgil kept slipping on the rink, and the ice was making him cold, the poor thing!” Patton mock cooed, nuzzling his face into Virgil’s puffy hat. “He insisted that we come back.”

“O… kay?”

“Anyway!” Virgil giggled. “We’re going to go upstairs so I can dry off and change.” Then, he addressed his dad. “Don’t do anything that I wouldn’t do!”

It took every ounce of restraint to keep Logan from immediately pulling Roman closer while the boys went up the stairs. As soon as he heard the door upstairs close, however, he leaned forward, and their lips met in the middle. It was messy and honestly not all that great, but neither of them truly cared.

When they parted, Logan couldn’t help but laugh a bit, resting his forehead in the crook of Roman’s neck.

“You would not believe how long I’ve wanted to do that,” Roman whispered as he ran his fingers down Logan’s arms. 

Logan raised his head. “Really?”

“Yeah. First, it was when you were talking to Virgil about teaching, and then you showed me all of your books, and… Well, it was very attractive. I have a bit of a weak spot for cute, smart guys.”

“And I guess that I have a thing for pretty, intelligent types.” Logan paused, thinking it over. “Would you… How would you feel about staying the night? I mean–just to sleep! I don’t want to, like, do anything! I just–”

Roman cut him off with a light chuckle. “Yeah, Logan. I’ll stay and cuddle with you.”

“Oh. Okay. Uh, cool.”

“You’re really adorable when you’re nervous.”

Logan rolled his eyes, tugging Roman forward for a kiss. “God, do you ever shut up?”

“Not really.”

“Well, it’s a good thing that I know a magic off button.”
