I was really swayed by All Might. I wanted to become a hero to make an impact in the world. I wanted to save people with a smile too."

"That sounds really endearing, Deku. I remember All Might's reign. He wasn't number one on the top charts all those years for nothing. So, did you ever think you'd be standing as Japan's top hero?"

"Well, it was never really my goal to become number one. That was Kacchan's- Dynamight's. My dream was, like I said, to become a hero and save others. But I have to say, it really is a blessing. I'd like to thank my Mom, All Might, my friends, and especially my wife for who I've become. My Mom has really done a lot for me growing up: protecting, encourage, and just always caring for me. All Might has kinda been that father figure for me when my Dad was away. My friends have shown me what it's like to work together and really be part of a heart. And my wife? Haha...I can't thank her enough for all the times she's been right by my side, even before we were together. Nothing I can say or do will ever be enough to express how much she means to me."

"The public will always interested in a hero's private life! Now, Deku, what is your ideal setting of relaxation?"

"My wife doesn't like places that are too crowded or noisy, so maybe a cozy day at the beach?- but early in the morning or in the evening when the crowds calm down. Maybe a movie theatre, but days after the movie is released so it's just us together. Actually, a lazy day at home together is great too! Cooking meals and watching a movie on the couch? Really, any place is relaxing if my wife is with me."

(am i questioning Deku's wife or Deku!?) "How scenic! Those sound very fitting for you!! How about any restaurants?"

"Not really. My wife really knows how to cook, it's amazing! I love her home-cooked meals, so there's no way I'd go out of my way to a restaurant. But if my wife is feeling it, I'll be sure to make reservations."

I was having such bad cramps when this question suddenly hit me and I figured we'd all love to know, right? Even though I get very cranky and like to be alone during my time of the month hehe.

Pile 2- Ace of swords, temperance, the fool and the hermit.

So I think this person actually doesn't know much about a women's cycle, I think for a specific few they're the only child or maybe they just didn't grow up around a lot of feminine energy so this just isn't their field but I'm hearing they'd try damn hard to make sure everything's okay!

They'd follow your lead on this, like they prefer to maybe watch you from afar during this time? Like sometimes they don't know if they should bother or if they could help at all so they'll probably just straight up ask if there's anything they can do. This person isn't immature about it, but they do feel a bit awkward during those days? (I'm actually dying at ur person, they hardly know how to describe anything?)

Okay, for example, say you're having very bad stomach cramps and you've been in bed all day complaining, they would probably let you stay in bed as long as you'd like and would peek their head in the doorway to silently check up on you because they don't know if they should disturb you or not.

I think they'd love it if you just told them or ask for anything you need, I think they'd rather you rest and use them as a servant 😜 (ur person wanted me to add that, they felt very serious until now? I'm dying) until you feel better, they'll try different approaches tho, I don't think it'll always be this awkward. I think when you two have been together for awhile they'll pick up. I think then they'd mix up their own home remedies, and their own strategies by now, they're not very specific on what this could be or what it could look like because I think this person doesn't really want you to know?

This pile feels different, I was getting the energy of your person being shy and excited to have their turn for the reading 🤣 maybe this person isn't someone who you see romantically at first, could be a roommate a friend but you do know this person or they will come into your life at some point and you guys will have some kind of friendship from the start. Pile 4- The moon, Kight of coins, Temperance, Kight of swords.

My pile 4's energy is different, I think this person could be older than you? This person overall isn't someone who's very cuddly or could even be very hard to read so moments like these really show that side of them in their own way?

For example, say you ran out of pads but your stomach hurts too bad to go get them yourself, your person wouldn't be thrilled to shop in the women's section but for YOU they will, they'll go get your pads and make sure they're the right size and everything (I'm hearing he'll literally call you and ask what size he should get).

They're very serious when it comes to you, they have dedication and it shows in the oddest ways possible.

So for your time of the month they'd be very chill about, the other piles felt all jittery and nervous like they were scared to mess up but your person is smart, he'll break down those walls for you, if you just want to cuddle in bed they'll hold you as long as you like. I'm hearing they're actually kind of "softer" at the right times (I'm sorry I can't think of a better word right now)

You'll love how this person will treat you and your needs and I'm hearing symptoms as well, they're very comfortable and reliable. He's like your big giant teddy bear! 🧸

Part Seven <3

Warnings!: The 141 will be criminally stupid, fumblers, all of them. Death (canon-typical), Violence (canon-typical), loss of limb (I will cover the symptoms as well as possible, but any and all corrections are welcome) They do get kissy, but no smut (that I'm writing, but it's very much implied).

Warnings for this specific chapter: (technically) main character death, written descriptions of injury, gore and blood talk. Included reference and experience with post-surgery symptoms of various degrees of seriousness. One character affectionately refers to another character as "slutbag"

Keegan is a good man.

You learn this quickly, as you get into moderate, common spats with the United States healthcare system.

In the days that narrowly follow the surgery, when you're more often unconscious than awake, you often wake with the nurse (technically certified, but you really have no idea if he actually works here) at your bedside who's just... doing whatever in the corner.

You're lucky you haven't been snippy enough to shove him away from you, just yet.

In your own defense, your dignity has been directly removed by most of this terrible shit.

You can't even get up to use the bathroom, anymore. It's a bedpan.

And apparently, you're still lucky. Because you're going to get your drainage tube out of the lovely leg wound in a few days.

You are, for all intents and purposes, about to kill someone or yourself. But Keegan is still often there, answering your questions or giving you just a bit of humor to hold onto as you go increasingly stir-crazy from waiting for Laswell to finally come and give you the rundown of the tatters that must remain of your career.

If you got lucky, she wouldn't be too upset. Maybe, if you were really lucky, she would tell you where the boys are. Why none of them have dropped in to see you yet.

It'd only be another week. You weren't sure you could last that long.

As if an angel somewhere has answered this thought, the door opens again.

"Hey, slutbag. I finally found you some enrichment."

Keegan's voice is playful, and he wears a shit-eating grin as he tosses a small bag to your bed, hitting you almost-square in the chest.

"Mm. Poor aim, Mr. Russ."

You may be tired, in pain, and you may be in a frankly terrible mood, but that doesn't mean you're not funny. Your name isn't Price.

Still, you open the little bag, and there's a box inside. You open that too, as Keegan plops himself in the chair that hurts his back because he can't be assed to bring in something better.

It's... a lock, casted out of clear plastic, with a small set of tools to pick it. Also a set of keys, which you already know you'll refuse to use for pride's sake.

Two watchful, fond blue eyes are scanning your motions and you can feel him smile, without even looking.

"I could have given you a manual, but I think you'd like it better to do it all yourself. Was I right?"

The tool's handle is smooth as you hold the lock steady, fighting to not immediately fiddle with the thing in front of Keegan. He would be too damned smug about it.

"...Thank you, Russ."

He did deserve that thanks, as far as you thought. You were pathetic right now, useless and bed-bound and panicky. And still, Keegan was willing to look upon you, he still willingly chooses to see you.

This thank you encompasses all of those things. You know you've been less than fun. Less than useful. And you know Keegan deserves to know that he's been good to you. Better than you've ever deserved.

He's quiet, for a time, but then you hear a warm chuckle as he reaches forward to give you a gentle pat on the shoulder.

"Don't say that like you owe me anything, kid," You really should interrupt him, tell him that, if you're not older than him, you definitely outrank him, but you don't. "You're much better than working in a shit-hole like this."

Your eyes find his, and you can see him smile as he lowers his mask. You're noticed that he only seems to do this in the room, with you. And only when you're both alone.

"...I know some people who could change that."

"Really?"

"I'm missing my leg, I still have my connections, Keegan."

His smile is worth the scolding you know Lawell will give you for trying to promise to pull him into the service.

You don't care. He's medically smart enough, and pliable enough to train into shape.

Maybe, if you can't serve anymore, you can bring someone who was more brilliant that you ever were. Maybe, your debt is still something you can repay.

His smile isn't wide, but it's happy. Something in your chest squeezes too hard, but he's kind enough to ignore how your heart monitor beeps faster. You know he notices, because his eyes crinkle at the corners.

"D'you want me to give you some hints to pick that lock faster?"

For once, you see that offer for help, and it doesn't strike you as a direct insult to you. You can see, right there before you, someone who wants to get close.

And it's so very stupid to trust someone. But something tells you that you will never be too slow for Keegan.

He seems fine with waiting for you to catch up.

Maybe that's why you nod at that question.

Maybe that's why he sits on the side of your bed, and starts to explain the basics, gently leading your hands into proper position as he starts to gently wriggle the tool agains the pins.

You would have never allowed this, otherwise, but it feels surprisingly good to have him there. Not because he thinks you're weak. Not because he thinks you'd be better if he taught you this.

Keegan is teaching you this because he thinks it's something you want to learn.

The tool turns before you're ready, and the lock pops open under your hands. Keegan's hands too.

Ohhh boy wow. Just saw Challengers and my God my bisexual brain was firing all signals. Like within the first five minutes I realised 2 things about this movie. 1 it understands that tennis is a truly boring sport and instead makes it an incredibly sweaty, sexy, compelling game to watch. 2 this movie is bi as all hell and equally in love with all 3 of these people (as was I by the end of the movie).

SPOILERS:

God I was enraptured I think this films pretty subjective and can be seen in a few different ways but I just saw it as 3 people who think their playing the same game but none of them really are. Zendayas playing to win at Tennis, when she can't do it herself she plays through her husband. Art is playing to win the woman he thinks he loves and needs.

And Patrick is the most interesting of all, is he playing because unlike those two he actually needs to out of monetary needs? Maybe but doubt it. Is he playing to win Zendaya? And willing to be her champion unlike Art? Possibly but honestly I think it's the third option. He's playing to get back Art, Art is always a presense in their relationship and he puts him before himself. For sure the unusual sexual history between them is there. The strong friendship turned rivalry. The sheer sexual tension (Goddamn that churro!!) But oddly enough for the guy who may seem like the disloyal asshole type of the three he is both the most honest and oddly loyal. He may sleep with Zendaya but the second she asks him to throw the match? He's furious, he's insulted and refuses. But NOT for himself but for Art. His first words are "How could you do that to Art?" To cheapen his victory, if he were to know would crush Art. Art is always at the tip of his tounge and whats happening.

When they start making out in the dorm Zendaya won't stop talking about tennis but equally whats Patrick talking about? Art. When he finds out Arts not just interested in Zendaya but is acting snakey he's proud.

And god that sauna scene?? (I mean yeah its hot but I mean the dialouge!) He asks Art if he'd miss it and he completely doesn't understand what he's really asking. He once again is talking to somone who thinks their talking about tennis but he's talking about anything but.

I knew that bloody signal was gonna come back and when they had sex in the car I was like "okay this is it, he's gonna tell Art" but the question was.. will it be to hinder him? Make him lose his cool so he loses the game..? OR will he do it to truly spur Art into a game changing rage and unlock his fighting spirit? And as the scene unfolded I belived it was the latter. And it was NOT for Zendaya because he could've easily thrown the match like she said but NO he wanted Art to win fair and square. He wanted to help him do that.

That wordless communication they share? That Zendayas just sat on the outside of not undertanding but worried? Golden. The brutal match and then that gorgeous smile. When I think Art realises what his friend has done and really why he did it. And Patricks, the sheer joy of seeing Art smile at him again. That beautiful, fly through the air and that throw of his own racket down so he can catch Art as he gloriously wins the match. Because tennis was never really what mattered to Patrick, and neither was it really to Art. And despite it being Arts victory they've really both won.

And Zendayas roar of victory from the crowd to me was almost funny. Because she won too. Her husband, her extension of her own career and self won his match with his challenge. His/her past. She also sees it as a victory even though I really won't be suprised if it's lost her both her husband and her back up career/boyfriend. And maybe she won't mind that so much because she got what she wanted. Because she was playing a different game.

Also banging soundtrack, loved it. Also this is just my view of the film and it really can be read multiple ways I'm sure, would love to hear other peoples ideas on it! What can I say I just love some bi emotional drama!

Another 6 Little Faces Alex Makes That I Love - Part 3

No. 1:

This fucking fond smile he gets after Henry says he would be a writer living in Paris if he were anonymous. Like, boy you are so whipped, it's not even funny. He's probably thinking something like, "that's so Henry of him to say" and it's adorable.

No. 2:

This is the face of a little shit who knows damn well what he's done and is delighting in seeing how Henry is going to manage to play it off. He's got that fake innocent/confused face, like, "oh gosh, is everything alright Henry?"

Then he just grins when he manages to save it, like the fucking little shit that he is. That face says, "I just squeezed the ass of the Prince of Wales directly in front of the Prime Minister of the UK and the President of the United States, made him fumble like an idiot, turned him on, and I got away with it."

No. 3:

He's in the background, so he's a little hard to see, but he's got this genuine soft smile on his face like he truly finds it sweet of Henry to sing and point at him. Like, he's not even laughing; Nora has that funny fake shock on her face, but Alex is just actually happy that he's the one Henry's pointing at.

No. 4:

The way he's watching Henry so closely, and you can see his jaw flex when he moves. You can tell how careful he's being, how determined he is to do this right. It feels like he's not even worried about his own pleasure right now because he cares so much more about making sure he doesn't hurt Henry, and that he feels good.

No. 5:

The way he shakes his head and swallows before he speaks because Henry's voice in the previous line was so desperate and pleading. He begs him so softly and brokenly not to make him send him away, and it makes Alex choke up for a second because he can hear Henry's pain, and he loves him so much. He can't walk away. He can't give up.

He knows that he makes Henry happy (thanks campfire scene), and that's all he wants to do. He refuses to let Henry go back to his prison of armor while there's something he can do about it. Henry has to tell him to leave, because he cannot and will not be the reason for that pain. Alex is not going to give him the excuse or opportunity to put the armor back on because he left.

It has to come directly from Henry, because he will do anything for him, even if it means leaving, if that's what he wants. If Henry tells him to, then fine, he'll do it, because he won't disrespect or directly ignore his wishes.

Alex's first words are to ask for permission to talk to him. There's a big difference between "Can we please talk?" and "We need to talk!". One is a demand, while the other is a request, one that Henry can refuse.

And at this point, Henry hasn't actually told him to leave yet. He said Alex could say what he needed to say, and then leave, but he has not outright told him to. Alex, despite how much it would kill him, is telling Henry that he will walk away if that's what he wants, and it's painful and terrifying for him to say, but he'll do it for him.

That was longer than I thought it would be.

No. 6:

The little bashful smile he has when talking about Henry kissing him. He's too uncertain to directly say, "Yes, I liked it" in response to Nora's question, so he says it in a round about way of saying he didn't not enjoy it. It gives the impression that he's trying to "stay cool" about the whole thing even though you can tell he's not saying everything. He's trying to downplay it because he's actually losing his mind over it, but doesn't want to admit it.

Alright, there's part 3! I'll see if there's enough for a part 4, but I'm running out of what I would consider "little" faces lol

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

I've gushed to you about Disco Elysium a lot and, MAN, Dooku's mental gymnastics must be something to behold. What I wouldn't give for a DE style political intrigue game where you just get to CRAWL through his brain and all his deepest most fucked up mechanisms. I NEED HIM AS A FUCKED UP, LARGELY UNRELATABLE PROTAGONIST. IT WOULD BE SO GOOD. Like. A game about his time right after leaving the Order and starting to work for Sidious. Pure gold. He's no Harry Du Bois but whatever he's got going on in his noggin can be its own little freak show. Ya know??

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?

I don't talk about this often, but I really like his relationship to Qui-Gon. The guy doesn't seem to behave like anyone Dooku - prim and proper as he is - would ever respect. And yet, Dooku raised him and let him be that way. He always loved him. He's so proud!! Qui-Gon was the one person he wasn't (consciously, intentionally) ready to betray, and you can really tell how that messed with him. Ten years later, and he's still indirectly seeking that validation from Obi-Wan. "See, I loved him so much, and you loved him so much, we loved him the same, so join me." It's just crazy. He did NOT get over it.

Generally, all his relationships with his students and student-prospects are incredible. Idk what they put in Lucas' water when he made Dooku this way but 1) they should've put in more and 2) I CAN'T GET ENOUGH

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?

LOVE LOVE LOVE PUTTING HIM THE FUCK DOWN. ON HIS KNEES. OR IN A PUDDLE OF HIS OWN BLOOD. Idk, just any situation where he ain't high and mighty. You've seen it. He thrives down there. He's so entertaining like that.

On the other hand, writing him competent and scary and smooth is just... *chefs kiss* as well. He can do both. He SHOULD do both. He's terrifying and powerful and so so so hurtable. It makes my brain foggy. I'm normal

26. What's something the character has done you can't get over? Be it something funny, bad, good, serious, whatever?

oh. So Goddamn Much. Slamming my head on the table. Breaking it into splinters. Picking the splinters out of my forehead and eating them etc

Where do I start? Betraying Sifo-Dyas. Betraying Asajj. All of that is so haunting, and the latter especially because we SEE him getting that order... his eyes... he didn't want to, but he did it anyway. It's just so AAAGHHH. Him falling to his knees after killing Yaddle. OUGHH

But honestly, basically everything Dooku ever did falls in this category. One underrated thing are his zoom calls with Rush Clovis, I think - he's having FUN with that. You can just tell. He knows he's dealing with a naive, ambitious little rat and he's trying out his grandpa charm, he's toying with him. "Come, come by boy :D" ok old man. I love you. Manipulate that bastard <3

I'VE SAID THIS MANY TIMES BUT: HAGEN FROM THE NIBELUNGENLIED BABY!!

Backstabbing old cunt? Knight of some sort? Tall? Intimidating? Graying? At some point played by an actor with endless brown eyes? Incredible swordsman? Nobility? Manipulator? Goes against a prophecy that can only end in his own doom? Gets beheaded with his own sword while on his knees under humiliating circumstances? Hell fucking YEAH.

Only difference between them is that Hagen managed to talk shit before he died. And he didn't betray the people he loved most. AND he has canonically huge tits 🫡🫡🫡 What a legend, rest in pieces

Hi I would like to ask 3 questions (because I was re-reading the au and they poped up)

1. We saw how Draxum acted in public with kid One in that one episode when the karate exam was (can't describe it better sorry)

Did any of the parents thought it was bad parenting and tried to take One away like reporting it to the gowerment or something?

2. What does Huseo think of One? Will they bound with each other. Does Huseo seriously not like One or making the wall not let him in was just a joke?

1)I forgot I haven't mentioned much about Draxum like... dayjob, but he works for the goberment, what exactly does he do? I have no idea, lmao, but he's an important public figure with a lot of contacts and a lot of power, so there's not exactly much they can do 🤷‍♀️

I don't know if any of them would had tried to do something about it but anything would had just got sweep under the rug

2)Hueso has known One since he was a little kid, how close they are is a bit hard to say, I have scenes planned where it looks like Hueso just tolerates One and sees him as a costumer, and some where their relationship is more friendly and familiar. How their relationship plays out I'm just gonna let the story speak for itself.

Not letting One in was on purpose, the real reason is still up to debate, I didnt think much of it, but One probably got into a brawl or something inside the restaurant and Hueso banned him temporarly

3)I do have a irl friend who likes rise! she's actually the one who convinced me to watch the show and the movie! funny enough I ended up more obssessed with it than her, and are more in the fandom.

She knows I have an au but doesn't follow much aus, I've talked about mine a bit with her but not much

You and Reggie were always the powerful duo. You guys did everything together, and in that time you have grown feelings for the boy.

You did everything in your power to ignore it, but it just never works. Everytime he laughs or makes physical contact with you, you can help but just melt.

Unbeknownst to you, Reggie feels the same way. He loves hearing you laugh, especially if he was the reason. But he always thought you guys would just stay friends and nothing more.

Right now, we're now on the couch, ranting to Alex about your little crush. Scratch that HUGE crush.

"-and I don't know Alex, should I tell him?" you asked the blond, you were laying down on your back, your hands resting on your stomach.

Reggie and Luke are out exploring, while you and Alex are having a little heart to heart session.

Alex rolled his eyes for the hundredth time this week. Reggie came to him earlier yesterday and also ranted about you to him when you were with Julie.

Alex sighed, "I think you both are the definition of dumb and dumb-er." he said.

"I mean we do a lot of stupid stuff together." you laughed, as memories flashed across your mind.

But of course Alex didn't mean it like that, he meant that you both are idiots who have feelings for each other and choose to ignore it by thinking the other one didn't feel the same way.

"Yes you will tell him. Right now." Alex stated, determination in his voice. He stood up getting ready to poof and find Reggie.

"What? Are you crazy?" you stood up too but it was too late, he was already gone.

"Damn." you mumbled under your breath.

You started to pace around the room and began practicing your little confession. "Okay uh hi Reggie. Um I- well you see, it's actually a funny story- I actually uh you know- UGH." you groaned in frustration when you can't think of anything to say to him.

"Why is it so hard for me to tell my best friend that i'm basically in love with him." you stated sarcastically as you hid your face in your hands.

"You what?" a soft voice asked.

You froze. Shit.

You look up and see Reggie, Luke and Alex standing together. Reggie was standing in the middle, his face full of confusion.

"Oh my god, hey guys!" you greeted them, trying to hid your nervousness. You felt like you wanted the ground to swallow you then and there.

"We're gonna leave you two to talk." Luke said as he patted Reggie's back and poofed away with Alex, probably outside the garage eavesdropping into this conversation.

You gave Reggie a small smile which made his heart skip a beat, but his eyes are still widened and no sentence coming out of him.

"So-" you started, avoiding eye contact.

"Did you mean it?" Reggie cut you off and started moving closer to you.

You took a deep breath and sighed heavily, looking up to him "Yeah. Yeah I mean it, i'm in love with you Reggie Peters." you confessed.

A huge weight was lift from your shoulders but a whole new one came, scaring you at how he's going to react.

He took your hands in his and gave it a soft kiss. "I think I'm in love with you too, well actually I'm pretty positive." he admitted bashfully, chuckling.

It was now your turn to have your eyes wide open. "What?"

"Surprise?" he wanted to sound optimistic but it came out in a questioning tone.

Your eyes cast down at your shoes and laughed. When you look up at him, you see him staring at you with the biggest heart eyes that made your heart leap.

"So can I kiss you now?" he asked softly. Reggie is screaming in his head at how nervous he sounded.

You nodded and managed saying "Yeah." with a small voice.

He grins and cup your cheek to pull you in. Resting his hand on your jaw and when your lips connected you instantly melted. This may be cliché, but sparks flew. He sighed in relief, finally feeling your lips against his.

"OW!" the sound of Alex's voice broke you both apart.

You guys look at the garage door then back to each other thinking of the same thing.

Reggie grabbed your hand and poofed you out in front of the garage door. When you arrived, his hand didn't move to let go of yours and it brought a huge smile to your face.

You look to see Alex on the floor, with his hand propped up his head. Luke was leaning against the door trying to act cool. And someone you didn't expect; Julie was sitting down pretending to meditate.

They all looked at you guys, a sheepish smile made its way to their face as they started to act oblivious.

"Oh hey guys!"

"Didn't see you there!"

"When did you guys get here?"

You rolled your eyes not believing them for a second. "You were there the whole time weren't you?" you said, raising your eyebrows.

"Yeah." they said simultaneously in shame.

You laughed as Reggie wrapped his arm around your waist turning you to him "Good, now I can do this." he said before smashing your lips together again. The effects were still the same as before. it felt like you were in cloud 9.

Reggie too felt like he was in heaven, having the girl of his dreams finally in his arms.

You pull back and look back at Luke, Julie and Alex to see them all hung open. But also a small smile lingering on their lips, happy that their friends are finally being together.

You felt heat rush towards your neck and ears as you laughed and pecked Reggie's cheek. "I guess we are dumb and dumb-er."

Why in the nine circles of hell is Sam Winchester laughing at the blonde at the bar? I personally wouldn't know. God, why a blonde? Dean loves to say that I have some kind of complex with everyone who has too little melanin in their hair and make it everyone else's problem. Whatever.

We're somewhere in the backwoods of Louisiana, hunting some kind of vengeful spirit. Supposedly a father who killed his entire family and then killed himself. We only have a few problems: Dean's car broke down, my laptop stopped working and the bones of the father in question are missing. What a great week!

When I enter the bar where we agreed to meet, I avoid staring too much, like, I don't want to seem desperate or psychotic, so, I go straight to the side of the bar where Dean is.

"A beer, please," I ask the bartender.

"On the house, sweetie," he answers.

Well, I'm not ugly, seriously. But I've had better times. Surprising.

I could have sworn I saw Sammy's back tense for a second, but then he just turned and nodded at me. Whatever. I'm going crazy (unofficially).

"You seem absolutely disturbed, especially today," Dean starts a conversation while looking at the waitress with a certain hunger.

"We have to work, you know?" I sigh. "Disgusting!"

"We don't have anything similar to the internet in this backwater, and the library is protected by Fort Knox for some reason," he takes a sip of his drink. "And you know, he's only attacked on even-numbered days so far. So happy Friday the 13th! Go relax."

Dean smiles and walks towards the waitress who had passed by seconds ago. Oh, my god, something tells me not to wait up for him. Kids, — he's older than me — grow up so quickly…

Sometimes I think about the dream I had the other night. Sure, I've dreamed about the brothers a few times, usually about the hunts, and it ends with someone almost, or actually getting killed. Sometimes I kill them, when I take the place of the monster of the week. My psychiatrist probably has some opinion on this, but whatever, I could handle a nightmare. Sure, beat the trauma once or twice a week.

But this time, it was even worse. I had sex with Sam, or rather, he fucked me brainless. He corrupted my dignity. And for God's sake, the memories alone are enough to make me cry, again. Sam was still caught up in the conversation with the blonde. Ivy, like poison ivy, I thought. Sam told me once that I was filled with poison but blessed with beauty and rage. He was drunk as fuck, or it as me? I avoided thinking. I am not able to deal with things. I have not been able to for a long time. I’m no good.

I can barely think of a response as he drags me across the room. Sam's soft eyes and brusque attitude leave me confused. And I just let him lead me. Unfortunately, I trust him.

Sometimes alcohol makes me shaky, and this was the only reasonable explanation for what was happening now. I'm confused and in nicotine withdrawal, I keep telling myself, again, and again. I'm shaking.

Outside the bar, sam, lets go of me, almost throwing me against the wall, but he doesn't. His puppy dog eyes, he's so gentle. Gentler than I ever deserved. Perhaps, his kindness was the real violence.

“Listen, Sammy, I’m sorry, again, I didn't mean to hit you” Actually, I’m not sure about what to say.

“I won't tolerate your shit this time”

“Why are you saying these things?” My eyes were watering, but I didn't want him to see me crying. Damn it.

“Because maybe if I could stay away from you, maybe I could love you less, and not care about you destroying yourself day after day.”

My face was wet with tears, but I couldn't understand the reason. I wanted to speak but I couldn't. unable to formulate a coherent thought and express it.

“But you know what? There is no corner of the earth that will keep your name from burning in my memory. I will never be able to be far enough away from you.” Then he hugs me, and I lose track of time as I cry. “I'll always be your friend, Ivy.”

Very well groomed, one of the best. It's a little lighter than the hair on his head, but exceptionally fine. He keeps it well trimmed and washed. Again, it's not because he's crazy about neatness it mostly just feels better for him.

He can be very romantic, but, honestly, he doesn't have the chance to be as romantic as he wants to be. After being in the forge, he's tired and smells and while he wants to woo you, he just can't. Contrary to the other Links I've written, he prefers receiving. Not the most, I'll be fair. Like I said, he's got a job, he's a blue collar man-- or the Hyrule equivalent-- and he's a hard working man. So he doesn't have all the energy in the world, but the energy he does have is put to good use, don't worry. He's a man who can't go for six rounds, but the rounds he does go has you feeling like he did.

T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)

Like I said, he likes chains. He's probably got a few spreader bars as well. Things made of metal you know? Maybe a few plugs he fiddled with. So he does have a few. And Four is the man who doesn't view toys as competition, no, no, they are his friends. His companions. His teammates. Everything needed to make you feel good. And that's all that matters to him.

U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)

He doesn't have time to tease. He'd love to, and on days he has off he spends hours between your legs until you're a sobbing, pleading mess for him, but on the more regular days? Of course he does foreplay, but he doesn't have time for the slow traces of skin or small pinches of flesh.

this isn't really a request but what draws you to hal jordan? i've always been a jason fan but he's been really interesting me lately and i wonder what you like about his character, and how you put that in your writing? sorry if this is weird, but i love how you speak on the characters you write and your writing in general :3

I appreciate you asking this, and I hope you keep looking into Hal because I do think he's an interesting, and very underrated character at least within fandom space. But this seems an odd question to ask me specifically as I've only ever written one headcanon, and a match-up for him. I haven't written about him enough to have a grip on what exactly about him works for me on paper (or screen).

However, I want to write more about him going forward so i’ll try and surmise what I like about him.

Disclaimers: I am hangging out of my ass rn. A lot of my understanding of Hal comes from pre-2011 and obviously this is just my personal view of the character.

As a Hero, I like that he's kinda different in his orgin to most. He didn't choose the lanterns, they chose him and he embraced it, quite willingly, and I thinks because he's:

a) always chased a sense of purpose.

b) good. Something deep inside him craves to do good.

(not saying he was blindly indoctrinated but I think I know which JL member is most likely to unwittingly join a cult.)

He's often billed as being ‘without fear’ but I don't think thats true. He's often shown to be afraid of things and he’s constantly surrounded by peers and foes that are alien, or immortal, or super-powers, but despite the constant reminder of his own mortality, he still runs toward his fears. He’s not without fear but he is exceptionally brave.

He's flawed. I know that most characters are flawed. His bravery is often driven/over shadowed by his recklessness and thrill-seeking which in my cases I've always considered to be a coping mechanism. Its hard to dwell on your unwanted emotions when you're high on adrenalin, drunkenly hurdling through the sky at 100 miles and hour, you know? (or whatever a realistic speed for a plane is idk)

He's quite a prideful character, he likes to show off the things he does well and downplay his mistakes, but when he does do bad, he always eventually take responsibility for his action. Its a big theme of his earlier stories.

He's got a strong personality, you have to in order to fit in amongst the JL and the likes.

He portrays himself very confidently, some would say overconfident, cocky, abrasively so. Which is a kind of character I've always been compelled to. I like a character with bravado, especially if they’re funny and charming too, which tick and tick.

Despite his pride, Hal also knows when its time to buckle down and get a job done.

(About to start muddling canon and my own fanon now) Yet, in his down time he's kind of a loser? I mean, ACAB to start (yes even space cops). But like, in his off time, when he's back on earth, he couch surfs, or finds someone to shack up with then spends most of his days in his boxers, drinking beer, scratching his balls, watching re-runs of MASH and Miami Vice.

Can't keep a job cause he's not really dedicated to anything but the crop (commitment issues ammiright?)

Gets kinda jealous and defensive when he finds out characters like Bruce and Ollie are also just human, like him. Thought he was special, you know?

There's a lot more going on with his character, I'm barely scratching the surface here, but these are just the first things that came to mind for me.

I love animals, especially raccoons. I think they are just adorable (I also have a cat and two dogs).

I have a pear-shaped body, but I'm also a little bit chubby. I have some scars on my arms and legs (mostly because I scratch my wounds when I'm stressed). Im anemic, which means that I get tired easily. Im also lactose intolerant. I often have random pains, but I don't know why. I also have an anxiety disorder (I bite my nails and lips a lot because of it). I would rather spend time indoors than outdoors, but I will not pass up an opportunity for a picnic :3.

I dislike loud noises and crowded places. I can't speak in front of a large group of people, and I have trouble making eye contact. I also hate when someone is bullied. Megatron is a cruel decepticon with a distaste for organics, so when he grabbed you into his servo he went to crush you right before Prime’s optics. He grinned viciously down at you, and your dead stare made him pause. Even the bravest of his kind looked more fearful than you. 

Before he could even form a coherent thought, he had transformed around you and flown away. When he got back to the Nemesis he was angry with himself- but he didn’t realize that as he threw you to Knockout, ordering him to watch you.

While you were scared, you did like the quiet of this place. It was almost soothing. 

Knockout peered down curiously at you. At your obvious exhaustion, he commented. “If I didn’t know better about your fleshies, I’d say you’re half dead.”

You stared back up at him, not quite making eye contact. He noticed your avoidance, but said nothing as he scoffed and went back to working. 

Megatron questioned himself as to why he brought you along, but he couldn’t put his finger on it. He ended up sitting you on a table in his room while he worked. You were mostly quiet, but your curiosity showed as you looked at his computer. 

His booming voice asked what you were doing, and you covered your ears. Megatron wasn’t sure why he did it, but he lowered his voice and spoke again. “What are you looking at?” 

“....your screen. Sorry.” You bit your nails nervously. Megatron turned away, silent. 

It was weeks before he sat you on his shoulder. He didn’t speak, clearly unsure of how to communicate with you. For the first time in millions of years, he was truly unsure of himself. 

When he did start talking to you, it was to teach you about his gladiatorial days. He spoke of how he started the revolution, and how he fought against the corruption of the senate. 

Eventually you felt comfortable enough to ask questions with him, but you felt nothing but pity. He had been through so much. However, you also felt conflicted- the Autobots are your friends, but you feel like this war has no point anymore other than for Decepticons to get some sort of revenge. 

You slowly began to chip away at Megatron’s cold spark, and he cared for you- even if he didn’t show it well. He loved the way you hummed softly your favorite songs, and how content you were to merely sit on his shoulder. 

Megatron would often bring you to large forests so you could enjoy the nature he found you enjoyed. 

One day, when Megatron was on a comm with Soundwave discussing something, you decided to take off. You wanted to be back with the autobots- not to say that you even hated Megatron after everything you had learned. You ran through the forest, getting turned around almost instantly. 

Almost immediately, you were snatched up into the servos of a very furious mech. Megatron had a deep scowl on his face. 

“After I bestowed all of the knowledge I had upon you, did you really think I’d let you go?” Megaton squeezed you painfully tight. “Don’t worry, worm. I won’t make the same mistake with you twice.”

Megatron, secretly heartbroken that you’d try to leave after creating a bond, locked you in a cage hanging in his room- with no way to escape his clutches. You would never be allowed out unless Megatron was with you. His trust would be hard to earn back- maybe even take your lifetime.

Jake had been in love with you since a long time but never had the courage to tell you anything about it. To the point where he won't even try to show hints of a possible attachment. You both weren't best friends but still more than unknows.

You and him are in university and you started talking to each other when he got to sit next to you in class.

Jake has a best friend, which by time decided to go on a collocation with him and are now roomates. They know each other like no one else does, they talk about everything and knows everything about the other, true best friends. Jake's best friend is called Sunghoon. As much as you never said it, you can't deny Jake's beauty, inside and out. He has always been funny, nice to you and showed the greatest personality while he would also show to school with the most handsome face and fit every day.

Still, when he invited you to come to his house and that you accepted, meeting his friend was a whole new feeling. Kind of love at first sight ?

1 - You could see in his eyes that he also felt something, as big as you did. Jake introduce you both and you see a discreet smirk on his lips as he greets you. You then visit the house quickly before going to Jake's room. You both talk, play, laugh, and then you felt hungry so you went to the kitchen to eat. Jake stayed in his room, waiting for you.

Once you enter the kitchen, you see a tall figure, a handsome figure. It was Sunghoon. He was simply drinking water but gosh, the sight was incredible. How could someone look so handsome doing something so basic ? You were in your own thoughts when you finally meet sunghoon's gaze. You quickly look away and go towards the fridge. If you avoid eye contact, he'll not catch anything, right ? You got it wrong.

As your looking through the fridge, you feel hands around your waist. You turn around only to be kissed suddenly by Sunghoon. Nothing to crazy, it lasted maybe 4 seconds, but that was enough for you to want more. You dive in and kiss him back.

This time the kiss was more passionate, his hands on your waist tighten as one of his hands goes towards you neck, while your hands are on his chest and hair. You wanted this moment to last forever but...

"What are you doing?" You both stop in your tracks as you hear a voice coming from the door. You both stop the kiss and look at it, only to find Jake. He's looking at you only, not minding Sunghoon at all. "So? I asked you a question" he says as his gaze never leaves you. "I..."

You can't formulate any sentence right now, the scene is absurd. You look at Sunghoon for a bit only to find him chuckle. Does he thinks this is funny? It's so embarrassing, you thought. Sunghoon looks at you and peck your lips. Before you could say anything he stops you. "He saw us already, why not continuing. I'm sure he'll like having his crush being all over another man". Crush? Jake likes me? And what does he means by continuing? There's to much to process but he doesn't mind. He's gonna prove Jake that he is the one, not him.

2 - As pretty as he is to you, he doesn't seem to be as impressed by you. "So this is Y/N. She's gonna stay this night" . His best friend dosen't question it and just bows at you before going to his room. What was that ? "Sorry, he's a bit cold with people he doesn't know, I promise he's kind". You understand more, he might be shy or introvert. Still, you wish you could have talked to him "I understand don't worry" you say. "He's name is Sunghoon by the way". Sunghoon. Sunghoon. The name resonates in your head. Sunghoon, what a pretty name. And he's pretty too.

After some time, you and Jake are in his room. You both played some video games and are now laying in his bed. You promised him you could sleep on the couch but he insisted so you stayed with him, after all one night can't be that bad right, plus with a man like Jake...who wouldn't want to sleep with him.

You won't say you are in love but still enough to get shy when he's getting to close or jealous when he's friendly with other girls classmates. You both talk about nothing and everything until one sentence catches your mind.

"Do you...by any chances have any crush?" How was I supposed to answer this. Should I lie? I should probably lie. "I don't, what about you". You can see Jake's gaze being everywhere but towards you. He keeps quiet a bit before talking again. "I do...since a year maybe". Well that hurts, you can't really explain the feeling but imaginating somebody you like liking someone else, what could you have done to make him love you ?

"Who is it?" You ask. Jake dosen't answer, he simply looks at you and smile before looking at his phone. "It's getting late, should we eat before sleeping?" Oh boy, you won't change the subject like this. Before he can get up, you take his hand in yours and pull him towards you slightly "Tell me, I want to know" you both look at each other for a moment and without any other word said, he kisses you.

The kiss is starting gently, before getting more and more sensual. Hands going up and down on your bodies as you start to feel pretty hot by the scene you're living at the moment. "Jake, can I borrow your charge-"

Sunghoon's stops as he sees his best friend and you. Exact same as you do, Jake stops the kiss as he looks at his best friend. You can't hear them but you see Jake mouthing words to Sunghoon. "What are you doing? Get out!" , "But I need your charger" , "Bro..." , "Sorry, sorry. You can enjoy".

Sunghoon says teasing his friend as he leaves the room (without his charger). After this weird and kind of cute (?) interaction between the two boys, Jake looks at you. "Sorry, that's so embarrassing" he says but you promise him everything is fine, it wasn't his fault after all. Still, Sunghoon appearance surprised you, you loved Jake indeed but seing Sunghoon...you don't know what to think anymore.

You and Jake passed the whole night cuddling and kissing each other, you both started chatting about when you guys fell in love and stuff, not knowing that Sunghoon was behind the door the whole time. Firstly waiting for his charger, but mostly because even without showing it, he did felt something for you too when you entered the house. But he guesses your heart is all to Jake now, isn't it ? Or maybe would he try to make you his ?

To be honest, I liked the second scenario better because I confess that I'm a big fan of clichés. I felt more involved in the second idea because Jake has liked the reader for a while, so I think it would be more satisfying for the two of them to end up together.

However, the story idea with Sunghoon is not bad either. It would be good wrote this idea in a separate story, like one with Sunghoon x reader.

Jake's attraction to the reader is greater than Sunghoon's. And about what Sunghoon feels, I think it's more of an attraction, while Jake is already in love, you know? (that's what I understood 😁😁). Therefore, Sunghoon would get over it faster than Jake, who would suffer a lot from a broken heart.

Also, in the first idea, since Sunghoon knows about Jake's crush, he would come across as a backstabber, girl stealer, douchebag, whatever you want to call it, which is a little funny. But still, Sunghoon would be a very bad friend 😭😭

And then there's... the third option, which would be a threesome 🤒🤒. The character is a little confused about what she feels towards the two, and they are both attracted to her, so nothing better than combining the useful with the pleasant and making it Jake x reader x Sunghoon 🫦🫦

Sunghoon's smirk faded a bit, but he didn't back down. "I know, Jake. But maybe she feels something for both of us." You stood there, torn between the two of them. The intensity of the moment was overwhelming. Jake walked up to you and took your hand. "Hm... is it true? Do you have feelings for both of us?" he asked, his eyes searching yours for answers. You hesitated, but the truth was undeniable. "I... I don't know. I feel something for both of you," you admitted.

Jake sighed, looking at Sunghoon, then back at you. "What do we do now?" he asked softly. Sunghoon stepped closer, his confidence unwavering. "We could share her," he suggested. "If she's willing, we can make this work. We both care about her, and maybe she cares about us too." You felt a rush of emotions-excitement, confusion, fear. The idea was unconventional, but the thought of being with both of them was strangely appealing. "Are you both okay with that?" you asked, looking from Jake to Sunghoon. Jake took a deep breath and nodded. "If it's what you want, I'll try." Sunghoon grinned. "I'm in," he said, pulling you into another kiss. This time, Jake didn't stop him. Instead, he stepped closer, his hand resting on your shoulder as he leaned in to kiss your cheek. The night was full of exploration and discovery as the three of you navigated this new and unconventional relationship, the two friends' hands ran over your body, adoring you, as you felt the trails of their wet kisses and licks drying down your body. There were moments of jealousy, where Jake wanted to have more of you than Sunghoon, marking his hickeys over sunghoon's, making your moans and cheeky laughs from the younger one. That night and beyond, the three of you learned how to balance the relationship, making sure all parties were satisfied.
