Oh boy, I glad it says media and not movie, bc I wouldn't know how to choose other wise.

That being said, The Clone Wars series (2008) all the way. Every time I feel depressed I go watch either Naruto or The Clone Wars, and guess I would feel a lot depressed in a desert island.

(Or maybe not, maybe I would find peace on living away from capitalism. Either way is safe to get my comfort show with me)

8.) Obi-Wan’s favourite thing about Luminara.

Probably her compassion, insomuch that most people who don’t know her wouldn’t immediately recognise it. She’s canonically accused of being uncaring by Anakin—a lot of people don’t like her because they perceive her as callous in my experience—but I have found the opposite to be true, and I think Obi-Wan would see that too. She goes to great lengths to protect people, too great lengths he would sometimes argue, but it comes from a place of care and selflessness.

Also, she just kind of funny? She’s clever and quick and can make him laugh in a way few can.

9.) Luminara’s favourite thing about Obi-Wan.

Patience. She watched him raise Skywalker and has endless admiration for him because of it—Luminara would not have survived with Anakin as her padawan. He stays very calm under almost every circumstance—even when she’s got a mind controlling worm on her face, but his joking was more to calm her than to cause stress—and it’s something she tries to emulate.

12.) Have they ever been caught in a compromising situation by either their Padawans, Clones, or fellow Jedi?

Oh, god, yes. Master Qui-Gon used to tease them about lack of subtly all the time, Quinlan inviting himself in for threesomes, Anakin rushing into the room without warning, poor Barriss at the wrong place at the wrong time. Luminara finds it hideously embarrassing each time, she’s got a rep to maintain after all, but Obi-Wan mostly finds it funny. Except for when it was Barriss. No one was laughing after that incident, Barriss was scarred for life and has had nothing but stilted conversations with Obi-Wan ever since.

13.) Luminara’s favourite physical feature on Obi-Wan.

I think she’d quite like the beard, but that’s a newer development. His hair in general then I guess, it’s a shade you would never find on Mirial so she sees it as unique and pretty. Also his massive dick, probably.

14.) Obi-Wan’s favourite physical feature on Luminara.

I think her eyes, which is super cliché, but she has very pretty and expressive eyes. She’s very good at keeping a neutral façade so it’s hard to tell what she’s thinking most of the time, but the second he makes eye contact it’s a dead giveaway. I hc that she practices makeup on him sometimes and he does it on her in return, he likes to give her orange eyeshadow and winged liner to make the colour really stand out. He’s gotten so good at that whenever there’s a formal event she makes him do her makeup for her.

32.) If Order 66 never happened, what would their futures look like?

I think Luminara would be pretty focussed on Barriss if Order 66 never happened because she still would have bombed the temple, something like rehabilitation and desperate attempts to prevent execution. This would probably be deemed dangerous attachment by the council and put a dent in her future as a member. Don’t get me wrong, Luminara’s as Jedi as they come, but that would put some distance between the Order—though Obi-Wan would be with her every step of the way.

Anakin would probably leave, Ahsoka already gone, so there would be very little keeping Luminara and Obi-Wan there too without the war. I think they’d allow themselves a relationship whether they left or not. If they left they’d probably leave Coruscant altogether for somewhere cooler, maybe Stewjon (I’d say Mirial but Obi-Wan doesn’t deserve another desert lmao). Maybe get a cat. Be Luke and Leia’s kooky aunt and uncle.

They’re both bisexual. Maybe that’s me projecting but I mean it’s basically canon when it comes to Obi-Wan and Luminara looks like she’s kissed girls idk what to tell you.

41.) Describe what Kenduli fanfic you’d love to read.

I’d love to read ANY kenduli fanfic, that’s the truth—I’ll take any content because it’s so sparse. I have a few stories I’ll probably write at some point though if no one else does: non Jedi au because it’s fun to see everyone’s ideas about what they’d be up to if they weren’t Jedi, any post order 66 au (I’m writing one rn it’s horrifically angsty but I live for that) and anything with Barriss, Ahsoka and Anakin too.

48.) Obi-Wan’s favourite memory of Luminara and Luminara’s favourite memory of Obi-Wan.

I like to imagine that, whenever she could, Luminara was always over at Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon’s apartment and they’d spend long evening just talking on the balcony and looking over the city. Obi-Wan remembers these evenings particularly fondly because Luminara was never that carefree again.

There are lots of memories from their childhood that Luminara treasures—sneaking around and getting into trouble, him stealing her favourite dessert from the mess for her, building their lightsabers together—but her absolute favourite memory is later on as Masters watching how hard he worked to make Barriss like him. He cooks meals with her in mind if he knows she’s going to be around, offers to help with her form or research, sends her articles he thinks she might find interesting. He’s like an awkward stepdad trying to relate to his teenage stepdaughter and it’s not going well but just trying is a very quick way to Luminara’s heart.

okay I love this question. I remember watching ANH when I was like 4 ish? so funny story, like many 4 year old girls, I was DEEP in my princess phase, and my parents got me to watch it with them because they told me there was a princess in it. and let me tell you I felt LIED to lmao. like yeah Mom I guess she's a princess but where's her ballgown and stuff. which is absolutely hilarious to me in retrospect because once I did get into Star Wars Leia was instantly my favorite character and she's still my #1 fave character. honestly she's just one of my favorite fictional characters ever. the other early memory I have is seeing TFA in the theater with my family bc that's what got me into Star Wars :) I was like "wait this shit is fun lemme go rewatch those other ones" and I started reading fanfic and stuff and that's how I got obsessed (although I was a die hard OT only fan for a while haha). sorry that was long lol

14. BESIDES THE ROTS NOVELIZATION What is your favorite Star Wars book?

confession: I have yet to read the ROTS novelization. I know, I know, I really want to I just haven't gotten around to it yet. BUT it's okay because I have VERY strong feelings about another book... Lost Stars by Claudia Gray. if that book has 0 fans, it means I'm dead. I read it for the first time in middle school and I've probably reread it at least 4 times since then. the writing is great, really unique story, I love Thane and Ciena. everything about it is just so good, the angst, the drama, the romance *chefs kiss*

17. Pick one Star Wars line to describe your life, what would it be?

probably "I have a bad feeling about this" because I'm just... constantly anxious 💀 and I regularly have to ask myself if something is actually wrong or is just ✨anxiety✨

Star Wars 22: What part of Star Wars lore could be removed and change the series for the better?

I'll cut it down to three, because I'm sure I could think of more:

The World Between Worlds. It serves no purpose, it actively removes stakes and suspence from the world and serves as the start of the ruining of Ahsoka Tano's character. Remove it entirely.

The Mortis lore. Everything to do with that arc is hot garbage. Again, it serves no purpose, it simply limits the Force in a way that is so short-sighted and close-minded... it only serves to show the limits of its creator.

The entire Sequel Trilogy. Everything made after it has been actively worse, because all storytelling in the 30 years between RotJ and The Force Awakens is entirely constrained by the Sequels. We have limits and set arcs for beloved characters that don't fucking work for them, and ultimately we gained nothing of import from them. They don't even have proper themes! The new characters are bland and have no character arcs! They should have been set like 200 years in the future and Luke and Leia could have just been Force ghost cameos.

10. What’s a ship you've unwillingly come around to?

This was a hard one, as I've been pretty set in my ships for a long time. I think the only ship I've changed my opinion on toward the positive is obianidala (obi-wan x padme). I used to be firmly in the anakin x padme crowd, even with Anakin being so toxic, but Lord knows I love Obi-wan more.

13. Were the Jedi right or wrong to ban attachments? What constitutes an attachment?

Oh, good question! In my fics, I've tried to deal with this a few times. Being Catholic, I automatically assumed in the beginning that the Jedi were supposed to be like our priests, chaste and unmarried. But maybe it's not supposed to be quiet that deep. Maybe they mean not letting others become so important that they would cause the Jedi to lose focus on other important stuff. It's suppose to be "The good of the many outweigh the good of the one." Wait, that's the wrong franchise. LOL

Anyway, I can see why the Jedi would ban attachments, but I think maybe it shouldn't be as strict as it appeared? (i.e. Anakin and Padme having to hide their relationship)

21. Best canon example of a healthy relationship in Star Wars?

Well, if Rey and Poe had been allowed to progress past what we saw at the beginning of TROS... Truthfully, I think this is a toss up between Hera x Kanan and Poe x Finn. They always have each other's backs, they rarely seriously argue, and they very obviously care about each other. I will always be Kanera, and if I can't have Damerey (or Jedistormpilot!), then Stormpilot it is.

Okay, my thoughts on the following:

8. There should be more of this type of fic/art…

Honestly that’s a hard one, because there’s so many incredible things that are created daily around here, but I think I really love seeing fics that do one or more of the following: showing the psychological and inner workings of a character, showing the emotional bond between two characters in ways that canon doesn’t or doesn’t go deeply into, and that reads like poetry (not necessarily structured like a poem, but it just feels like a piece of art in and of itself).

I know at first glance that list seems like most fics go into those topics, but there’s a few that I’ve come across that live rent free in my head that have truly just blown open my understanding of either a character and their motivations and personality, or that are so elegantly crafted that they become a whole new piece of art that stands on its own. I’m really drawn to the emotional and relational aspects of stories, so anything that adds to my perspective on that really impacts me.

10. What’s a ship you've unwillingly come around to?

For this I’m going to go with Rexsoka. I was not okay with them as a romantic pairing at all under any circumstances for awhile (for obvious age-related reasons), but I’ve read enough fics where both Rex and Ahsoka are full grown, consenting adults, and their bond and camaraderie are illustrated so beautifully in a way that grows into a romantic bond instead of just a platonic bond, that I can appreciate it in those circumstances. Especially if it’s a modern AU. I do think that their bond and love for each other is special and deep regardless of what direction it takes.

However I am not at all comfortable with intimating that they liked each other in that manner during the Clone Wars or while Ahsoka is still a teenager. So it really depends on how it’s being portrayed.

2. which character do you want to be most like?

My immediate reaction is Luke or Mara because they're two of my favourites, but I think the real answer is Bail Organa. He is a committed friend and servant to his people and lives unwaveringly by his convictions, putting his own life on the line countless times. He's wise in knowing which battles to pick and doesn't lose faith in people, even when they've lost faith in themselves. All that while being an A+ parent and partner.

11. who is the most underrated character?

Cara Dune. I love her dearly and she has such an intriguing backstory that I will always be bitter that we didn't have a chance to learn more about. I just hope she's out there in the Star Wars galaxy kicking ass and taking names, even if we don't get to see it.

20. what do you hope will happen in future movies?

Ah.... yeah. I don't have a lot of hope for future movies after the sequels. They seem very determined to continue following down that path and I'm just... not at all interested in that.

What I wish would would happen would be to reset a timeline so that the sequels essentially become an alternative future and have Jon and Dave head up a project that would bring the Thrawn Trilogy into canon. You'd have to recast the OT trio, but I've slowly come to terms with that, especially understanding that some of Luke's stoicness in BoBF might have been due to the limitations on deep fake emotions. Bring Mara and Kardde in, build up the fledgling New Republic rather than skipping over all of that just to show another war just for the sake of trying to copy to OT format, and let Thrawn shine in all of his brilliant glory. Saying that, I would only be fully onboard with that if Kathleen Kennedy wasn't involved and bonus points if George Lucas and Timothy Zahn were brought in as consultants (at the very least) for the story.

Pipe dream, I know, but hey. That's what I'd love to see happen.

25. which character do you have a love/hate relationship with?

I'd say Palpatine. Part of me has to be impressed with the levels of patience and manipulation that man possesses. He's a truly terrifying villain, but I will never be over the way Anakin just yeets him down the shaft. Makes me smile every time. His end is something I'm really looking forward to in AFoL 😈
