for quite some time, I have been working on putting every bit of practical information I have about making a podcast into some kind of readable resource and I'm very happy to say that, by george, I think I've done it.

that link will take you to our resource page which has links to a 35-page handbook that takes you through every step of podcast production (on our merch page, but you can download for zero dollars! do it!) and a direct download of a 15-page pdf about how I take an idea from development through scripting.

this is by no means the be-all-end-all definitive correct guide on how to make an audio drama. as I emphasize many times throughout, this is just how I do things, but it's a pretty thorough rundown of how I do things. if you've been too overwhelmed to start your own show, I sincerely hope this helps you!

Imagine with me. Batman, pedaling as fast as he physically can, on this children's bike, chasing a rogue. It was the only option he had, and he knows he'll be made fun of later by his kids, but he has a mission at the moment, so he can't be bothered to care

And then passing him is Nightwing riding a segway (Nightwing themed, of course), Red Hood wearing heelies, Red Robin on his normal motorbike, and then Damian on a little classic child tricycle.

As it turns out, someone (Alfred) had hidden all the normal vehicles for a prank war, left only Red Robin's motorbike to frame him (because who would suspect Alfred??), and was currently receiving pictures from Barbara to add to a photo album.

Alfred knows he's safe from retaliation, even when they figure out who did it.

the thing they don't tell you about learning the piano is that if you have small hands. it's hard.

a quick update on Loki:

The good news is that I've found what it is that's stopping him from eating.

The bad news is that there appears to be some sort of inflammation, abscess, or perhaps even a tumor at the back of his mouth. He let me inspect his mouth and probe at the mass gently with a Q-tip without being overly reactive (so either he's not in so much pain as to become reactive, or he just trusts me a lot) and it was bleeding a little, and I think the reason he's not eating is because chewing causes him pain with that mass.

We will call the vet first thing in the morning and see if he can take a look at Loki tomorrow (Tuesday is usually his day off but he's a family friend and might be willing to make a house call). If it's an infection or abscess he may be able to prescribe antibiotics or other medications to help, but if it's a tumor I worry there might not be much else we can do since Loki might be too old to tolerate the anesthesia. Really I just hope he can suggest some form of solution - there aren't any exotic or specialist vets in the area, so it really comes down to if our family vet can even treat a hedgehog

This whole situation is- something else. I'm honestly sick as a dog so I'm not even gonna begin to word how truly awful this is, and all the love and support to Kat rn cause goodness gracious this is ridiculous. Like I've seen the toxicity of the fandom and unfortunately the harassment of the cast is sadly nothing new but it's - it's all just truly something else.
