it was announced recently that the yuri manga sukeban to tenkousei has been cancelled due to low sales, which personally made me upset bc it was genuinely a really good work. today inee, the author of love bullet, has said she's struggling with the sales of vol 1, so fans have made a guide to purchase it. i'm sharing this bc i read the first volume of love bullet and i loved it, it has so much potential and it's so sad that it might get cancelled. any amount of visibility for the manga will help! guys. it has cupid girls with guns. and gay people. come on

#the whole point is to purchase it legally to increase sales but #if you read it online and talk about it and hype it up that will give it more visibility #and more people might wanna buy it #anyway i'm sharing bc i can't take another yuri loss #love bullet

one of the weird aspects of my loneliness and attempts to date is that a VERY high percentage of people i find attractive on dating apps have "t4t" in their bio. idk what this says about me or where my attraction lies. but that's not the point.

I'm used to that feeling of not being "an option" to certain people, like knowing that a woman i find interesting/attractive wouldn't even consider dating me because she wants a man who has a higher education or someone who works out at the gym. I'm used to not being attractive enough, wealthy enough, smart enough... to have a chance. but since i realized i was queer, a new factor of exclusion now applies to me, something I have never even thought about before.

being cis makes me unwanted to certain people. it's not even a "not ... enough". it's something else entirely.

strange feeling.

#I'm giving up anyway #I'm too mentally ill to be able to date or have a partner #god this knowledge hurts so badly #my social worker told me once that in recovery there's never the right time to do something #you will never be stable enough or not-depressed enough or confident enough #you will always feel like you haven't reached some milestone that you think you need to reach to do certain things #and i understand what he meant #like if you're able to try you should try #but there is the reality of trying and failing because of the illness #and there is the reality that recovery isn't always possible #I'm not getting better because this is just what my brain is like now #there's a lot of things i cannot do anymore #I'm not enough

I am fine with "the audience" -

downloading my fics

printing my fics

copy/pasting or screenshotting my fics

sharing your saved copy of my fics with anyone else who might want them in the unlikely but never impossible case that my fics are no longer available on ao3

making a book of my fic(s) and running your fingers across the pages while lovingly whispering my precioussss

doing these things with anything I create for fandom, such as meta, headcanons, au nonsense like 'texts from the brodinsons,' etc

I am not fine with "the audience"

doing any of the above with the purpose/intent of plagiarizing my work or passing it off as their own in any capacity

feeding my work into ai for any reason whatsoever

Save the fandom things. Preserve the fandom things. Respect the fandom things.

Enjoy the fandom things.
