One thing I found really interesting about this episode is how they mentioned they're preparing for Samhain, and how it is a festival that's going to have an interhouse competition

It caught my attention because I always thought tkdb's storyline was too serious to include actual school festivals in its setting and that the most we would have would be the Gala

But you're telling me there will be a festival...... and obscuary is dressing as butlers..... just like a themed cafe in a school's cultural festival..... Very VERY interesting...

oh wow they actually give you the choice to explicitly identify as transgender freely with zero requirements and it unlocks new dialogue choices

#also offering you 3 different stages to establish how your character feels about their current body #“Still getting there” or “I love how I am” or “I worked hard to here here and I'm proud”#That is genuinely so touching and impressive #it left me awestruck #the fact they didn't shy away from the word transgender??? The illustrations are amazing and the commentary is super fun to read. I'm gonna do my best to try and practice some japanese with it too hehe.

Did any other h2hoes watch that one YouTube series with the mermaid named Amy and her friends? 6 year old me was obsessed. I just put on Swimming by Florence and the Machine and had a wild series of flashbacks to early 2000s YouTube filled with fanmade H2O spinoffs

#The fan made tails were always so cute #Like 99% of the time they were those $40 kid monofins with seran wrap or fabric around their legs #But I vividly remember seeing one that was like baby's first extended tail and being so awestruck by it #It's why I make fun of that one pirate show's shitty flimsy tail so much #There are moms on YouTube making tails for their kids that are better than yours 18 years ago...#Anyway yeah #I want to feel camaraderie I really hope someone else here knows wtf I'm talking about #I don't remember the name so I doubt I'll ever find it again.
