Outie Mark is gonna remember how many times he's been right next to his wife and didn't even recognize her. He's gonna remember the last conversation they had in the wellness session, her apologizing for coming across strange, saying her favorite part of being alive was being in his department.

Now the finale drops in less than 2 hours and we still have yet to see Darth Vader. I'm not saying that I think they're going to pull a Rogue One, but I'm also not not saying that I think this will end horrifically.

I am emotionally preparing for the worst [the whole batch dies and/or the empire still ends up cloning Omega for the rest of her life].

I truly do not know what to expect in this finale besides a lot of climactic drama

oh god you know what A Conversation about the inn is going to be so beautiful. they've never talked about it seriously, only a fun little role play over cooked snake and a little white lie to a couple of random kids. but sooner or later they're going to have a real talk, an opening up about my dreams talk, a we're learning how to communicate talk.

Also increasingly aware that a LOT of people "manage" getting through the 40+ hour work week by sleeping less than is healthy and relying on stimulants like coffee and energy drinks to keep them going.

For people who are unwilling or unable to do this...work really does just dominate your life. Like we really should not have to rely on unhealthy practices just to have a social life or keep on top of housework or whatever.

I know I post about this a lot but I'm so TIRED all the time and it's just so depressing that this is how we're expected to spend the one life we have.

listened to the first episode of the severance podcast with adam scott and ben stiller today and i can't stop thinking about this bit they were discussing from the original pilot script where Ms. Cobel invites Mark into her house, has him watch while she tortures her pet rat, and then reveals that the rat is severed and "flips a switch" so the rat starts cozying up to her and acting like a sweet affectionate pet. like. okay! they were really just gonna put it all on the table like that! you're the rat, mark!!!! you and helly and all your friends are the rats, mark!!!! mark!!!!!!!!!!
