A star, you whisper, once upon a time. A time where he lived without a million eyes watching his every move. You will become a star, I just know it. 

And it wasn’t just you who believed it at that time. Everyone did. From his teachers to his classmates, to his parents and his brother. It was an indisputable fact that the boy who dedicated himself wholly to soccer, a prodigy who made the sport look like an art form, had his future set out for stardom.

So it is no surprise to anyone when your naive declaration comes into fruition.

His face is plastered on every billboard - as far as the eye can see. Japan’s pride, he is known as. The Ice Prince; he who dominates the field; a force to be reckoned with.

Itoshi Sae: the star.

You were proud. No doubt. Though, it would be false to say that you aren’t envious. Sae is a trailblazer: one that surpasses all of his enemies with a nonchalant stare, and transcends into the sky with the other geniuses. He is a part of the lucky few who are destined to be gazed upon with awe. Everything and anything you have achieved pales in comparison.

(You’d surely hear reprimands if you voice those thoughts out loud, though. In your time, you have made a name for yourself. An expert in your passion at the mere age of seventeen; a trailblazer in your own right.

…It’ll just never compare to the name Sae built for himself, you think with finality.)

Generally speaking, Bryony Halbech is an amazingly written villain, that woman is deranged, insane and kind of on the verge of killing everyone every second of the podcast, but that's what makes her so interesting. She isn't watered down to lift up the other antagonists, she doesn't get a simple redemption. For example, in the newest episode she didn't cooperate with anyone at all, only after she was given the mood stabilizers Warren was able to have a conversation with her. She's a bad person and she displays it proudly because she thinks she's entitled to it as a reward for her intelligence, she also gets what she deserves but we, as the audience, only learn about it when it already happened, we're here for the aftermath of it. It's such genius writing I am personally obsessed with, especially when she still has very specific qualities that she doesn't lose (being snappy, bossy and having a "feminine" sense of humor) and in my humble opinion, I just love it whenever she appears, like yes, that woman is exactly what I need to see more of in media.

Okay look. I'm not a huge fan of Piper's character myself, and that is because the trope of her character was, in my opinion, executed very poorly.

but do people really hate her because she said that Percy was less impressive compared to Jason? This whole thing started out as a joke, but I've literally seen people include this in one of their "Why Piper Mclean is a bad character" essays and it never fails to boggle my mind.

Why are people so mad that a girl said her boyfriend was better than a random guy she barely knew? It's very natural, that regardless of how handsome and impressive looking a person may be, partners always come first. In fact, she should be praised for staying that loyal, to the point that she didn't even subconsciously find any other guy attractive, despite the amount of praise she heard of Percy. I thought it was rather sweet that the moment she looked at percy, her first thought was Jason, her boyfriend. Let's be real, if Annabeth did the same for percy, y'all would be drowning her in praise for being "wife material" or something 😒

If it weren't Percy, then the fandom would accuse Piper of emotionally cheating on Jason by having thoughts of other guys. That's just it.

Also, canonically, Jason was better built/looked more fit with tanned muscles and had this intimidating and royal look, while Percy was said to look a little skinny/lanky (even though he is very strong) so Piper saying that Percy wasn't impressive looking wasn't directed as an insult. Piper was just puzzled that Percy didn't look as "strong" and "grand" like she imagined the HERO of Olympus to look like.

Also literally a few pages later, she said that Percy had cute baby seal eyes, apparently that isn't a compliment?

I cannot believe ppl are trashing a 15 year old girl for not falling on her knees for a boy when she has a boyfriend. Like you can hate Piper and everything, i don't like her either, but give valid reasons pls 😭

The Divine

As a Greek Myth enthusiast, some outfits inspire me to take photos that are implication of the gods and goddesses of greek mythology.

War and Love

The god of war and the goddess of love and beauty. They are very well known lovers in the myths. They even have children.

This outfit of Sylus is depicted of a warrior, hence it reminded me of the war god. Adding the laurel is a nice touch too. So yeah, this is my version of Sylus as Ares.

My aim for this was more of a greek princess but one of my friends pointed out that she is like the goddess of beauty. So I dedicated this look of MC to be Aphrodite and pair her up with Sylus' Ares.

Sea and Snow

The god of the sea, one of the 3 sons of Kronos, and the daughter of the wind, the goddess of snow. As a couple, they are not that known but Khione did have Poseidon as a lover.

To be honest, it would've seemed more like Poseidon if he adorned his god of tides outfit but since I played just this July, his limited myth already passed and I wasn't able to get his limited companion (I'll surely get him when he reruns though). This outfit reminds me more of Apollo's, the god of sun, but Apollo is often depicted as blonde therefore I just imagined this look of Rafayel to pay homage to his real identity, the god of the sea.

This outfit just seems so "fantasy" and "ethereal" up close that I got the idea of pairing it with the snow puffs head dress to depict a snow goddess or witch. Khione is not a familiar name for those who are not fans of greek mythology or those who do not read percy jackson as she is not one of the olympians nor is she married to one. One thing that can be atested to however is that Khione is a beauty (she had multiple lovers from the major olympians; Hermes, Apollo, Dionysus, and Poseidon). This look is attempting to give of that ethereal snow beauty vibe.
