> no remains of any detonation device found

And what is Caleb's evol?

Not that.

Caleb can move objects with his mind. Meaning he can stop objects with his mind too. He could have easily protected himself with his evol, as well as thrown his necklace out to MC as a way of saying "forget about me" because he has a job to do that he doesn't want to involve her in

So where did that explosion come from?
