Rose here! Unfortunately I don’t think Black Hat would answer this question because he’d find it beyond pointless and unnecessary to answer but I’d like to answer this question as The Mun!

I don’t think he started out fully grown whether that be mentally or physically I don’t know but nothing, not even him, starts out knowing everything and being an adult. When he first popped into existence he was definitely childlike because he’s a new being who suddenly just got brought into the world. I don’t think he was mentally adult until he learned how to adapt to the new environment around him, until he learned how to conduct himself as one. If he was an actual baby, then, he must have been born somehow and must have grown naturally but overall….he was a baby at one point.

I imagine Nasha naturally wears a lot of protective styles because of the lack of curly hair products on Niflheim/the ship. From what I remember, Elven mothers have insight to their child’s life pre birth. Thing Miriel telling Finwë not to blame her for the deeds Fëanor will go on to commit. Think even the names that are chosen, and how the mother names seem to hold a certain weight about them.

Celebrian knew from the moment she chose to marry Elrond exactly what she was risking. But I think having heard and potentially seen Elros, this was something she was willing to take. It wasn’t a case of hoping her children would be immortal and find their way back to her. It was ‘I know they’ll choose what’s right for them, and I’ll be happy either way.”

Also remember Celebrian was born as part of a family who had been dealt fates worse than death before, and others to whom immortality would become a curse because they were the only ones left. Galadriel was still in exile, and had lost all her brothers and cousins. As far as they were concerned, this was it for her until she became a shade on Arda.

All that to say, she saw mortality and death not as a curse or sundering - she knew you didn’t have to die for that to happen. But as the gift as Eru intended it.

So yes. When Arwen was born, she grieved. But she also smiled. There’d come a point where her daughter would leave her forever, but she had an Uncle on the other side waiting for her. And Celebrian knew whoever had Arwen’s heart would be a noble and kind man indeed.

And based on conversations I’ve had with people talking of their married children? There will always be a sense of grief. But every parent, especially someone like Celebrian who had such a wonderful life with Elrond, wants their child to experience what they have.

Wherever it takes them.

May God forgive me but a Hot Frosty!Steddie AU where Eddie (being a freak) ((and also a little high)) kisses a snowman and unknowingly brings it to life. ☃️ *dodges rotten tomato*

Hey, if you didn’t want Eddie to make out sloppy style with your snowman then why did you make him so hot, huh??? Why did you carve abs into him? Why’d you give him bedroom eyes?! 😒Anyway… as I was saying…

Eddie leaves, accidentally leaving behind his battle vest on the snowman, heading home to Forest Hills trailer park. Dude’s totally oblivious to the fact that he just performed a freaking miracle, shattering almost every law in the known universe, all because he thought a snowman was fine as hell.

Hot Frosty (aka our boy Steve), can’t do anything but think of Eddie. It’s his first fully formed thought he has as his snowy skin melts and gives way to human flesh. When he sucks in his first breath of cold, winter art, he exhales with Eddie’s name on his tongue. His fingers reach up and gently touch his freshly kissed lips. The kiss that brought him to life; the first and only touch of warmth he’s ever received.

Steve’s not wearing anything besides a very worn denim vest, covered in colorful patches—the one Eddie so thoughtfully gave him. Otherwise, he’s naked as a jay bird. Thankfully, being a snowman, he doesn’t mind the cold. :)

He walks around town, approaching the various townsfolk, asking if they know where Eddie is. He’s looking for Eddie. Do you know Eddie? Y’know, Eddie, the one who loves me. The one who kissed me tonight. He needs to find Eddie. Eddie will be looking for him too, no doubt.

Eventually though, someone calls the fuzz on this very attractive, very confused young man who’s walking around the snow bare-assed and bare-footed. Hopper immediately recognizes the battle vest—he’s busted Munson enough times, and he’s always wearing that beat up thing. So he calls up the Munson residence, but there’s no answer. He leaves a voicemail instead, growling at him to come pick up his clearly distressed boyfriend before Hopper presses public indecency charges.

How will Eddie react when he hears the message?! Will Eddie believe hot frosty!Steve’s far-fetched tale?! WILL THEY FUCK?! (answers: Very confused, not at first, & HELL YEAH THEY DO)

the outsiders musical rant !! sorry if this doesn’t make sense, i just had to get it out there !

i find it interesting that despite being the main character of the outsiders musical, ponyboy does a lot of harmonizing with others instead of just taking the melody

he takes the melody when he’s narrating,, especially about his problems (tulsa ‘67, his solo parts in i could talk to you all night and far away from tulsa, etc.) but when he sings with other people, he is normally heard harmonizing

he opts up in grease got a hold and great expectations, leaving everyone else behind as they sing the melody. this shows his yearning for a life outside of tulsa, and a life outside of his problems. he takes the lower harmony in i could talk to you all night with cherry, and the highest harmony in throwing in the towel. he is always consumed by the need to get away.

cherry keeps him grounded. he can relate and connect with her, but it’s not enough. meanwhile, pony is disconnected from his brothers, but with darry most of all (darry sings the lower harmony, musically the furthest away from pony) while soda is the connector between the two, which is why soda is the one who takes the melody during the chorus of throwing in the towel when all three brothers sing together— soda is literally in the middle of them, stuck between a rock (darry) and and hard place (pony)

ponyboy is almost always harmonizing with everyone, except for when he’s with johnny. johnny is who he sings of running away with. by killing bob (in self defense!!) johnny is the one who makes running away a reality, which is why it’s fitting that johnny is the one takes the harmony when he sings with ponyboy in far away from tulsa and death’s at my door. he’s the one that pony feels the most safe and comfortable to be himself around because pony knows that johnny always understands him.

it’s only until after johnny dies that pony begins harmonizing with him instead, jumping between low and high harmonies during stay gold. this shows how affected he is by johnnys death— his harmonies are as “unstable” as he is. he finally comes back to the melody when he sings the last line of the song by himself, internalizing johnny’s message: to stay gold, to be himself, and to learn that there are so many more reasons to why life is worth living.

during the finale, he lets darry and sodapop read out the narration, showing that he has successfully mended the gap between him and darry. he sticks to the melody throughout the entire song. he no longer opts up like he did in the beginning because he has realized that running away from his problems (and running away from the melody) cannot solve anything. by the end of the outsiders musical, ponyboy has finally grown into his own skin and is no longer ashamed of where he comes from.

I love Adam Parrish in almost every form but I can’t stand classically handsome blond angelic curly haired Adam?? Like Adam is beautiful and uncanny and delicate and has high cheekbones but also dusty and a little weird looking? Like yes, he is blondish but dusty! dirty! There’s no way this boy can afford a good haircut or product!! I can deal with some wave or even some curls if it’s messy. And yes he would want to look Presentable at all costs when he’s at school but there is only so much one can do when you get four hours of sleep and cut your hair yourself? I know some people complain about the headcanon and constantly go “SEbAstIAN oNLY CarES aBoUT hIs SoUL” or “hE hAtES hiM HE’S nOt A DAd” but I really love fanfics or AU headcanons that include Dadbastian

Like from where I’ve watched up to (I haven’t read the manga yet) I know that he likely only cares about Ciel’s soul and that at the end of the day he doesn’t care or gave any human emotions at all about any of them due to being a demon. I know any care he has shown is definitely because Ciel’s soul is his dinner lmao

BUT it’s nice to imagine a headcanon where due to being in the human world and around so many strange humans, Sebastian actually starts to care. It would annoy him but eventually he’s like oh shit I have a kid now.

I love the complexity of a character being incredibly evil to the point that they could hurt anyone and not care eventually learn to care about someone and struggle with their conflicting instincts and characteristics. Fanfics that could include this idea are so interesting to me.

So yeah at the end of the show he’ll probably eat his soul and be like “see ya bitch 👋” but it’s always fun to imagine him feeling conflicted over it because even though Ciel’s life would only be a fleeting moment to an age old demon like Sebastian it’s always interesting to imagine it still effecting him long after Ciel’s and the other servants are gone.

A few years later, Nightmare visits Dusttale and recruits 1-S, a silent assassin with an unsettling grin. As names go it’s unusual, especially in a group with people named Killer, Horror and Cross, but the others generally accept it. After all, what’s in a name? He’s a skilled strategist and fighter with a past every bit as horrific as their own. Except.

Except every time they call him 1-S, he flinches. When you call someone’s name they should turn towards the sound; he recoils instead, vanishing into the shadows of his hood. In battle, everyone quickly learns not to use that name because when he hears it, he seems for a moment to forget how to fight, before pressing forward with the type of fear and anger that disintegrates strategy into chaos. As much as Nightmare feeds on the needles of negative energy summoned whenever 1-S hears his name, he is frustrated by this barrier that begins to form, the way that saying his newest recruit’s name abruptly halts communication, tearing at any sense of camaraderie. This can’t go on.

The first time Killer calls him Dusty, it’s an insult and a barbed joke. Looking for trouble, Killer makes a comment about 1-S’ scarf still being covered in his brother’s dust. 1-S launches himself at the other skeleton and the two have to be separated before they seriously harm each other. But even as Horror pulls 1-S off him, Killer sees the furious gleam in his eyes. So much better than the dull fear that rests there when he’s referred to as 1-S. So much more exciting.

Killer continues to call him Dusty. For the longest time, 1-S responds to this name with nothing but rage, but he doesn’t flinch. In day to day life, he looks up and glares at the speaker. In battle, it makes him grit his teeth at the most. So as time goes on, the others slowly begin to call him that as well. Not Dusty, no - that’s too infantile, too disrespectful. But Dust… that name works.

That name suits him well.

In fact, due to the way she grew up, she’s extremely uncomfortable with being treated like one

She does take care of the others, but it’s not in a motherly way

She’s a big sibling to them, and that’s it

Anything more than that makes her very uncomfortable and uneasy

(Personally, I think of Clémmie as the Mom Friend of the group)

To bounce off of that, Kingsley once called her “mom” as a joke, and she got legitimately mad at him

Does most of the cooking in the group

The other kids will sleep in her room sometimes, but every time she goes to their room for the same comfort, she stops short and returns to her room, unable to actually ask

She takes being the oldest way too seriously

By that I mean she uses it as an excuse to never let anyone help her or take care of her

She’s trying to get better about that, but it’s hard
