Here’s my take on the hellhound girlie!

I wanted to tweak her character a bit (and by a bit I mean I snatched her out of Viv’s cold hands and gave her some pizzazz) so here’s my personal take + headcanons on Loona!

Her story begins at the Howling Hearts Youth Shelter in the Pride Ring. It was a hellhound catering orphanage, essentially serving as shelters for hounds who were abandoned by their parents or staying there in the events that their family couldn’t take care of them any more.

The shelter opted to help hellhounds find new adoptive families, from the imps to the sinners to even higher-class families such as demon royalty. This shelter was one of the greatest in the pride ring, as many adoptions were met with success…

Except for one.

This little hellhound girl was more cynical and distant. While her fellow hounds would prefer to play and spend time with potential adoptive families, the little hellhound was a bit more cold and spoke the harsh truth about anyone who tried to adopt her.

The director of the shelter was becoming frantic. This hellhound was nearing 16, and that was the maximum age a hellhound would stay before they would get kicked out and be subjected to the vulgar, harsh world of the Underworld.

On a stormy night, an imp under the name of Blitz burst into the shelter to find a hellhound who could be his bodyguard, a potential companion in his up-and-coming assassination business… but most of all, he wanted to fill the void in his heart by having someone to consider his “child” in a sense.

And the little hellhound girl with her sharp tongue instantly clicked with him. He named her Luna, after the lunar eclipse that happened to take place that night. (Although he misspelled it as “Loona”, but she seemed to like that alternative spelling!)

And so, Blitz and Loona began to recruit two other imps, eventually kickstarting their dream assassination business.

And that’s the story of Loona! I wanted to flesh out her backstory and make it not entirely exclusive to Blitz’s story. We didn’t get her perspective, her story was all about Blitz and *his* essential sad experience.

Mild critique aside, here are some headcanons j have of her!

- She doesn’t really get out much, seeing as she’s at the receptionist desk constantly. Running up the stairs will instantly kill her /j

- It doesn’t help that she has mild anemia, so don’t let her stand up too quickly.

- She’s a scene queen, preferring to thrift and even make her clothing items. Millie gifted her a Kandi bracelet, and she’s never taken it off since.

- She and Octavia crossed paths at a Verosika Mayday concert once. They didn’t recognize each other at first, but soon became fast friends and kept in touch. Octavia occasionally crashes at Loona’s place whenever her Stolas is being… Stolas.

- Loona doesn’t really like dying her “hair”. The last time she did, the office’s bathroom almost exploded. She was able to save it with a half-assed jellyfish haircut, and to this day, Blitz still has the pictures 💀

- I feel like she’d really like the game Omori! Her favorite character is Aubrey 🎀

- Unlike the original Loona, she’s not as mean and violent towards everyone (she’s disgusted at the thought of hurting her father and his employees as a “joke”). She’s more dry and sarcastic. Example;

Blitz: “We’re off to the living world for another totally normal adventure! Loonie, you wanna come along?? :D”

Loona, looking up from her phone: “mmmmmmmm- no.”

When did you start writing?

Oo im not sure? I started “ seriously “ writing a couple of years ago when I took a writing class, but I wouldn’t say I was really a “ writer “ untill I started working on How Our World Ended a few years ago

Are there different genres or themes you enjoy reading other than the ones you write?

Oh 100% I haven’t been reading that much lately, but I mostly read horror and mystery. While I sneak in horror sometimes, I’ve never really been compelled to write a mystery story

Is there an author you want to emulate, or are compared to often?

If I’m honest, no to both of those. I have authors I love, but i have my own thing. And people don’t compare me to any author. Weither that’s good or bad is up to you I guess

Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?

I write with my old, shitty Chromebook on my bed with my pillow propped up as a back rest. My PC keyboard is very loud and just not too fun to write with, and I despise writing on mobile. If I’m in the mood, I turn on some music and get to work

What’s your most effective way to muster up a muse?

I’m gonna answer this question in two different ways, how I get inspiration for ideas, and how I get in the writing vibe. For the first, it’s honestly just seeing something I like and going “ I wanna do that “ or listening to a song while some grand story plays out in my head. For ACTUALLY writing, that’s tricky. I normally write late, but if a friend is up talking about whatever thing ive really liked as of late can help. Thinking ahead to scenes I’m excited to write helps, especially when I listen to music that I tie to those moments.

Did the place(s) you grew up in influence the people and/or places you write about?

I mean, I’m sure they did subconsciously somehow- but I tend to write in fantasy, and my suburban ass life doesn’t really lend to my ideas well. Though I will say, my moms fondness for museums has inspired Paintings a good bit

Are there any reoccurring themes in your writing? If so, do they surprise you?

Yeah, a good few. I’d say grief, and how it impacts people is the most prevalent theme across my stories. This is a bit surprising since I’ve ( fortunately ) not lost too many people in my life

Characters:

would you please tell me about your current favorite character?

Oo this one is HARD. I can pick my favorite for each story easily but OVERALL is really hard. I’m torn between Lars from Souls Collide, or The Artist from How Our World Ended. Both characters mean so much to me, and I’d say those two are the characters I’ve made with the most depth. Ughh this is difficult. I guess I’ll say Lars for now, just because of how prevalent and important to me he’s been

Also I know it’s not what the question is asking, but my favorite character that I DIDNT make is Sunny from OMORI

Which of your characters would you be friends with in real life?

I think I’d vibe with most of the souls collide cast, considering they were initially based off of people I knew. I also think I’d get along with Asim and Astera from Paintings, along with Lyra and Val from How Our World Ended.

which characters would you dislike the most of you met them?

Oh god most of them. I write TERRIBLE people. Samaueal would just kill me- I’d hate Nelios, he’s a dick, Ryder from Souls Collide was based off of a person I disliked in real life, Salazar is pretentious and WOULD kill me, Dimitri is the worst- I can go on. But the worst is Samaueal, considering he would just kill me for the hell of it

Tell me about the process of coming up with your characters?

It’s real weird. I either see something I like, and want to steal it in some way, so i base a character off of them. Asim and Astera are heavily influenced by Mary and Reginald from Cemetery Mary, Hart is inspired by Walter White, the whole council was inspired by the organization from Kingdom Hearts. But for characters I didn’t partially steal, it mostly just comes to me when listening to music. Some characters were also created out of necessity, and evolved far past that.

Do you notice any reoccurring themes/traits in your characters?

Yup. I tend to write certain types of characters very formally, my protags are often shaken by one particularly harrowing event, and they almost all have some sort of huge internal fight with themselves.

How do you picture your characters?

It depends! Most of the time, I imagine every character in the style I wanted Souls Collide to be, but for certain scenes ( especially fights with Res ) I see it in live action.

I have a whole lotta ideas and gotta get them out SOMEHOW.

Is there any specific comment or type of comment from readers that you find particularly motivating?

Literally anything positive anyone says makes my day. You all have been more supportive than irl friends. But the things that make my day are either people predicting what comes next in private circles, and for comments here, saying that people like a character or are interested in a story makes me beam. I will die if I ever get fan art ( in a good way )

How do you want to be thought about by your readers?

However they wanna. You don’t have to see me any way, but I’ve tried to be a positive force here, so I guess that.

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

I don’t wanna sound egotistical, but my ideas are really cool ( at least I think so )

What have you been told is your greatest strength as a writer is by others?

I’ve been told that what I can do is impressive. I remember one specific interaction about the artist that was incredibly kind.

How do you feel about your own writing?

It depends. I’m incredibly proud of my recent work. I love how Paintings is coming along, and I think the laster chapters of How Our World Ended are the best things I’ve ever written. Anything over two years old is dogshit though, I was in physical pain rereading the first draft of chapter 4

If you were the last person on earth, would you still write?

Gonna be real, don’t think I’d live. But in the event I continued living for whatever reason, maybe? I don’t know, that’s a hard ass question.

When you write, are you influenced by what others might enjoy reading, do you write purely for yourself, or is it a mix of both?

I write plots entirely for myself, but I try to thing about what issues there are with my plot from a readers perspective. Idk if that sounds crazy, but thinking about stuff from an outsider perspective can be helpful in editing.

SUNNY

SUNNY is a bit dumbfounded when it comes to his partner being sick

he’s not sure what medicine to use at all, they all look the same

please, PLEASE tell him which one it is

he doesn’t know much about taking care of someone who’s sick

but he does know that you need rest, tons of it

let him make you rest on his bed, i promise it’s comfortable

or if you’re sick at your own house, SUNNY will make sure you’re not getting up from your bed

"SUNNY— SUNNY please i have to pee." you exclaim earning a head shake from said-boy. he keeps you on the bed and makes sure you don’t get up.

when he actually gives you medicine, he does it pretty okay

except for that one time where he accidentally drops a lot of the liquid medicine onto the floor from the spoon he had

AUBREY

another slightly clueless one

AUBREY never usually got sick, and when she did she usually relied on either one of her friends to help her when she was younger

except for KEL, definitely except for KEL

so when she comes over to your house and finds you in bed, she’s a bit clueless at first

"hey, you gonna stay in bed all day or what? we’re gonna go out on our scooters, you don’t wanna miss that." AUBREY said with a huge smirk on her face, referring to the HOOLIGANS.

"…AUBREY, i’m sick." "oh"

well, now she’s staying at your house just to keep you company n stuff

whatever you ask of her, and only if it’s to help you get better, she’ll get it

she’ll definitely call you out if you want her to get a bag of chips or something

"[READER], a bag of chips is not gonna make you feel better, I’m not stupid!"

she would gladly do the honors of giving you medicine,

and if you don’t wanna drink the medicine, too damn bad!

she needs you up and ready to hang around, she can’t have you lying in bed all day just because you’re sick

…she never admits it though

HERO

he’s becoming a doctor instead of a chef just for his parents.. he’s the most capable one out of the group.

he checks your temperature, makes sure you’re in bed at most times (actually letting you get up to go pee unlike SUNNY), and gives you proper medicine

if you’re missing out on school work, he’ll definitely do it for you!

he wants to make sure you make a full recovery!

he’ll keep a distance to make sure he doesn’t get sick as well

he’s a bit slightly strict on you if you don’t wanna take your medicine

"[READER] if you don’t take your medicine, you’ll get even more sick! you don’t want that, do you?" HERO said in a tone of worry, his smile a bit uneasy. however, you’re a bit stubborn.

"i’d rather be sick than drink that! it tastes gross every-time i do!" you protested, earning a disappointed head shake and a groan from HERO.

KEL

if you though SUNNY was worse,

oh boy.

well, KEL tries his hardest for this but uh.. maybe get his own brother for stuff like this

he always asks HERO for help though, since he’s the future doctor!

so when you’re in bed trying to rest, it gets boring.. well not if you’re with KEL!

he’ll show up to your house and talks up a storm with you for hours and hours, telling you about his day and all other things!

he’ll do the talking so you don’t have to if your throat hurts! isn’t he nice?

"oh, oh! i also played outside my house with HECTOR today! i kept throwing the ball for him for about a few hours until my mom called me in for lunch! oh and my lunch was so good! it was—"

KEL will actually at least feed you the medicine like a baby

if you refuse the medicine, he’ll puff his cheeks angrily and say that he will hold in his breath again UNLESS you take it

if you’re still stubborn, KEL will have no choice but to give up and breathe again

but please just take the medicine, he won’t stop even after he catches his breath again

KEL is also stubborn, and you can’t possibly beat him at being stubborn

BASIL

the third most capable one

POLLY gave him a few tips on how to take care of someone being sick

so when he comes over to your house, he’ll absolutely try his best

he’ll make you some soup, something POLLY recommended

he isn’t used to cooking, but he’ll try his best with it just for you!

at least tell him the soup doesn’t taste good

he doesn’t want you feeling worse because of his mediocre cooking skills

he would ask HERO for tips on cooking, but he doesn’t want to leave you all alone!

and PLEASE take the medicine

BASIL is a pushover and he really wants you to take the medicine

if you refuse it at first, he’d be a bit sad but won’t give you the medicine if you really don’t want it

but he’ll be really worried, so don’t make him worry and just take the medicine

"o-okay [READER]! it’s time to take your medicine." BASIL softly spoke up, already pouring the medicine on the spoon and bring the spoon closer to you.

however, you bring your head back and shake your head no. "eugh, no way..! sorry, BASIL, but it always taste gross every time!"

"but.. but if you don’t take it.. you’ll feel even worse and.." BASIL makes up and excuse, but he doesn’t want to force you. he sighs a bit and sets the spoon on the desk next to you. "a-alright.. okay..!"

okay.. now you feel bad, you eventually struck up the bravery and takes the medicine. it tasted.. absolutely gross but BASIL looks happy now!

MARI

the second most capable one out of the group

she learns most things from HERO of course, but her caring nature just makes it even better

she’ll show up to your house with a bunch of things in a bag to keep you from getting bored!

and just like with HERO, if you’re missing school work, she’ll definitely help you with it!

if you refuse the medicine she offers, oh man

it’s like you WANT to be teased.

"come on, [READER]! drink your medicine, its veryyy good for you!~" MARI spoke the last part in a slightly singing voice to tease you. however, you’re stubborn and you refuse to take the medicine.

"sorry MARI, but no way! it tastes really gross every time i do!" you protested, only earning a smug MARI look. she then holds up the spoon in her hands and moves it around up and down, bring it closer to your lips

"look here, [READER]!~ here comes the airplane!~" MARI teased once more with the same smug smile on her lips. "wh— MARI!" you stammered, being taken aback by MARI being.. MARI. in the end, you had no choice and took the medicine.

B99!!!! i’ve been on a massive brooklyn 99 kick lately i’ve been watching it nonstop im on my fourth rewatch and it’s so so good!!

k-on is such an amazing show i literally can’t begin to describe the love i have for it it’s such a cutesy and fun show (and movie too) and i’ve been fiending to rewatch it lately >_<

🎲- favourite game

okay so this is a 3-way tie between terraria, undertale, and omori.

all 3 games are amazing and hold a special place in my heart and are also incredibly good

terraria is simply a massively fun game that i played nonstop as a kid (and is also better than minecraft sue me)

undertale is a beautiful piece of media in general and is so much fun and so good and it brought me closer to so many of my friends

and the same sentiment goes to omori, it highkey shaped the person i am today (shoutout to basil omori from hit indie game omori) and it’s incredibly fun and also beautiful

Unfortunately, no one! :( I imagine all of them being boomers when it comes to the internet, so even Niall doesn’t really have a public account where he would have millions of followers.

But! I love the idea. If we ever get to it, I’ll gladly come up with an AU similar to the game Welcome to The Game (& Welcome to The Game II), some of the websites and the ideas in general there are amazing. It’d be very atmospheric, gritty and unforgiving, and all of them would look wonderful with its concepts/aesthetics. Unfortunately, I can’t delve deeper into it right now because it’ll spoil the main story.

Toxic love songs are a great choice for Nebula, they suit the boys very well, I agree <3 I’ve checked it out, the lyrics do go hard. I can only hope to get some of those feelings/emotions across. And I hope you’ll get more associations as you learn more about the story and the boys too. It’s so fun and honestly hot lol

I actually remember the game rather poorly, but the jumpscares there were insane! Omori is something that keeps popping up a lot around me lately (mainly because of the manga drama 🙄), and I think I have it on Steam. The main character looks yummy. Might actually play it one day lol But I should probably play Ib already before going somewhere similar...

And...For the game Omori you two really like (I love it to!) She wonders who your favorite character is, and why you like them! (Her favorite has to be HEADSPACE Basil or Stranger, or "SOMETHING". She can't decide though.)

“Big sister Lapis found me in Oblivion. That’s one of the afterlives, but not the one I was supposed to be in. It’s like… A second layer of hell, I guess. I think she was meeting up with the deity there for something, and when she saw me, she recognized that I didn’t belong there.”

“A cat-sìth is normally bigger than a normal housecat, and in human worlds, we can walk on two legs and speak human languages just as long as humans aren’t watching. Cynoxis doesn’t have many humans if any, and normal cats are already anthropomorphic, so… I guess that’s not much of a difference on my end, but it’d be more noticeable in some other world. Oh, and we can also claim souls before they go to the afterlives. I use that to help big sister Lapis sometimes, so a mismarked soul gets marked properly before it’s too late. That’s been more and more of an issue lately… Aaand there’s something involving curses, but I haven’t tried anything like that. In terms of appearance, we’re black cats with a white spot, usually on the chest, but they can be in other spots, like how mine’s on my neck. Most of us don’t have three eyes, though. do be aware the game has a ton of heavy themes like suicide, self harm, anxiety, depression, trauma and such shit, and is overall a horror game, and has jumpscares, so it's that triggering to you in any way I'd advise you to not engage w it too much

There's a lot of messages about friendship and trauma and coping mechanisms and acceptance and stuff which is really interesting, and when I first played it, even though I was at the time not feeling any emotions for a long time, the ending made me cry and feel emotions again, and also taught me valuable lessons

Theres a LOT to analyze about the game and all the main character's are super likeable and essay-worthy full of unique responses to trauma

Sorry if I spoiled too much !! Overall it's extremely interesting, though many times on the surface it may seem like a cute game at first but yeah

I'd DEFINITELY recommend it to anyone, I'm not super into it anymore but it literally, unironically and genuinely changed my life for the better. If you're not genuinely triggered by the themes of it you should totally check it out !!

do you also feel like OMORI has tone issues?

like i struggle to classify OMORI's tone as positive or negative, ironically enough games like yume nikki are very easy to talk about, YN has an overbearing feeling of loneliness and dread, meanwhile OMORI is 8/10 happy wholesomeness and 2/10 misery and horror, and those emotions feel very separate from each other, i think the game struggles by trying to have it both ways and it's not able to construct a proper tone

personally i would have liked if the happy areas were more nostalgic and melancholic than outright happy, because otherwise when the Horror starts it feels very abrupt to me and not really in a good way

it's supposed to be a horror game but most of the time i feel like i'm playing kirby or something

I have been wanting to make a more well thought out post comparing/contrasting OMORI and Yume Nikki though so ty for brining the topic up, it’s putting the Thoughts back in my head aha

but yes, OMORI’s tone is frankly all over the place, and I really agree that the emotional shifts don’t mesh well together in a lot of ways. I might’ve said this before, maybe not, but I personally feel that OMORI comes off like it’s a first or second draft of a game, not a finished game. I do truly believe that the OMOCAT team could’ve made it work but the final product was just a tonally confused mess. (okay calling it a mess feels pretty mean but like [waves hand])

I do slightly disagree that everything that wasn’t horror and misery was just straight “happy.” unless you’re just talking about Headspace here, which okay now that I’m typing this I think you probably do mean Headspace. disregard my statement actually, I do agree with you then. there are some nostalgic/melancholic crumbs in Headspace that I really love but overall it does get reaaally overshadowed by the sillies. I would’ve loved to see it focus on more of the bittersweetness because I think OMORI handles those types of feelings so well. it probably would have led into the horror much better too!

but yeah. for a game that’s marketed as “horror” it sure isn’t. which is a damn shame. I really would’ve loved a better balance of everything

It was my birthday January 8th!! I had a ton of fun w/ my family since me and my parents went 2 visit and i got a bunch of stuff:) I have 9 project diva games now and miku posters ans figurines 2, a modded 3ds 2‼️

Thanks 2 modding my 3ds I was able 2 get a bunch of Ace Attorney games and now I can't stop playing LOL. i already liked it like around the same time last year but the only game I had was Apollo Justice (best AA game tbh ily apollo), but now I have the whole franchise in my hands yayay‼️

Also I revisited the omori things we talked about some time ago n everything so now im planning 2 dig more deep into it, esp the endings look forward 2 it‼️ mayb

My OMORI Fics I Want to Share

As a form of escapism, Mari lucid dreams of her friends in Headspace, a world where Sunny is still alive, and the group can play games about going on strange adventures throughout their weird world. Things take a turn when a mysterious new force arrives, one Mari did not conjure up. This Stranger is out to destroy Mari's dream-world, and with the help on another mysterious figure, may succeed. But then the unthinkable happens: Aubrey is diagnosed with stage four terminal cancer and has up to a year to live.

Now, Aubrey must find the courage to reunite with Sunny and Basil in order to have one more day as a friend group before her last chance fades away when she does.

Note that this fic will cover heavy topics such as cancer and death throughout, so be warned about that. Also note that there will be some vaguely sexual content here and there, but none of it will be straight-up smut, and the characters would be of age at that point. Don't worry, there'll be plenty of cute Kelbrey fluff to lighten the mood, too.

After being murdered outside of Fredbear's Family Diner, Mari winds up possessing the Puppet animatronic featured at the restaurant. She then tries her best to make do with her unfortunate situation, but when more and more kids are murdered at the establishment, including her brother Sunny, Mari realizes that whoever is doing this must be working from the inside, and forms a plan to stop this person's reign of terror before anyone else gets hurt.

At the same time, Henry "Hero" Rodriguez decides to do some investigating of his own, after the disappearance of his brother Kel and his friends. He gets the night shift at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, and soon comes to find out the establishment is hiding dark, twisted secrets. Determined to survive and uncover the truth, Hero continues to return every night to find out what happened to his brother.

So what was your experience like with playing Night in the Woods.

It’s funny because Night in the Woods is a game I gave up way too early (just like with Omori) only to come back to it and have the time of my life. Now I’ve finished the game three times in total because I wanted to exhaust as much dialogue as I could.

I had some issues with the writing that’s why I gave it up at first. I felt like everyone was an asshole, more or less Mae which is the protagonist. Thankfully, a playthrough of the game on yt convinced me to come back to it and I’m so glad I saw it to the end.

Everything… makes sense why it is the way it is, how the characters act etc. I felt so bad for them all and my god when I did the route to learn more about Bea my soul broke. Not that it did any less for Angus – or anyone for that matter. There were just so many raw lines and moments in there that wouldn’t hit as hard if the writing wasn’t just that good.

Honestly everything from dialogue to details around the town flow and feel so natural it’s rare to see and I can’t praise it enough. That’s how people talk, and that’s how people act. There had been a lot of relatable moments in the game for me and I think most people growing up in such small areas like the town in the game will relate to it a lot. I could go on a whole rant about that.

But yeah, I had a great time with the game. It did lose me a bit on the “supernatural” stuff when it came to the whole cult thing I have to admit. I know it’s probably mostly there for the allegory, but still. Also banger soundtrack and I love how the game looks in general.

It even got me interested in constellations and all (I love the teacher on the roof so much I can't stress this enough) and I was lucky there was a class about astronomy I could take in uni! It was probably the most fun I had too lmao! This is how obsessed I was with the game after finishing it I tried to recreate Mae’s journal, heh.

Random: A gamer’s diary entry for October 2023!

While I finish writing, and playing, my next backlog games I’m excited to add to the wishlist ‘Little Goody Two Shoes’. Which looks like it’s going to be getting a physical release. (Which I won’t be picking this game up until the physical drops. I already know I’ll like it.)

One of my favorite YouTube channels called Nostalook worked on the trailer (and I think the in game cutscenes as well) and their work is stunning as usual. It really captures the 90s anime look. It deeply reminds me of Princess Maker.

Also it’s a shoujo yuri. Female romancable characters only! (And they’re all so ✨ PRETTY ✨) I can’t explain how HAPPY that makes me. I just hope it stays in an innocent direction.

You know, because in majority yuri isn’t made for women. 😐

I get it, but at the same time I feel locked out of the content because it’s so obviously not for me. But that’s a complaint for a different post on a different day! Makes me wonder if men feel the same way about yaoi.

I was very bad this month. There were a lot of physical sales. And then my preorders for new games rolled in. I always prioritize my physical games over my… “digital” games, so those will be in the front of my backlog!

I’m already playing a few of these games, so my reviews on those should be out next week!

I decided to skip this month’s two biggest releases altogether until about next year. I want the GOTY Spider-Man 2 when it comes with all of the DLC for $20. The first one was amazing. I’m just willing to wait on it. Which is a similar story for Mario Wonder. I mostly use the fall season to get all the titles I’ve been wanting for a freaking sick deal. Why should I have to pay full price?

The older I get, the more I feel like I appreciate weird games and indie titles more anyway. I feel like those other projects have the freedom to take more aesthetic risks than the big companies. Not because of the creatives inside (They tend to always have good ideas), but the stockholders. 🙄

I adore some of these triple A titles to my core, but I crave to see more new things too. Different things.

Dave The Diver is a good example. That seems rad. I like ocean games. I like that we get more of them now. I’m gonna wait and see if that one gets a physical as well. You collect fish to go back to your restaurant to make sushi? Sign me up!

Don’t even get me started on Limited Run’s releases this month.

While ‘Persona 4’ and ‘This Way Madness Lies’ are no brainers for me; I was EXTREMELY on the fence about ‘Persona 3 Portable’. (I did pick it up reluctantly)

The remake of Persona 3 will be upon us soon and I don’t know if I’ll want to play P3P again. The problem lies in the fact that most of these games become much more expensive later. Buying it on “launch” from Limited Run usually IS the cheaper option.

That shit annoys me so bad. I don’t like picking up games for value. But because the game might be value I have to be ahead of the scalpers and pay for it at its maybe cheapest.

I collect games because I like ‘em. I want to play them and love them. I want to use my stuff. I don’t give a fuck about the “value”. I respect the folks that do care about that stuff but I plain just don’t.

But that’s also just kinda life. Not much can be done about other people. You can only truly control yourself. 🙄

Overall October has been an exceptionally excellent month for gaming! We’ve had so much good stuff come out this fall season. I’m excited for next month as well! Super Mario RPG will be making its re-debut and I can’t wait to talk about that one!

Omori fanart because guess who got the game. I’m just going to repeat what I said on my insta because I’m too lazy, but I also love this game.

I drew this pretty quick, but I’ve been meaning to make fanart for Omori for a while. I’ve probably been following the development of this game since they originally announced that it would be released on the Nintendo 3DS (before it was discontinued) so it’s amazing to finally be able to play it!

I’m not finished yet because I usually take my time with games, especially rpgs, but I already love it so much. I’ll probably rant more about it at some other time because honestly the game is way too relatable. So much of it is so personal and thoughtful in such a bittersweet yet hopeful way.
