WOWOWW WE HIT 30 GUYS WOWZA

Hello my little invaders! It is I, the great EMatooney back at it again with another update!

HUZZAH!! THE LINEART PHASE IS COMPLETE!!! Yippee!!!

At last it is finally done!! I just gotta wait until our buddy @edgy-artkid does the coloring and I’ll do the rendering!! Then it’ll be uploaded here!! WAHOO!!

I do have some unfortunate news tho… our background/3D artist has left our team and won’t be working for us anymore. She’s got a lot on her plate now with college and home life so understandably she just doesn’t have the time to help with the comic. This is a setback for us, myself included, so I will resume on working on the backgrounds to the best of my ability.

Unless…

ANYBODY WANNA WORK FOR ME??

Like no joke! I’ll happily hire anyone who’s good at making background art for $25 - $35 (for four pages). Totally fine if you can’t! Lucky for me I’m a pro at photobashing and photoshop editing.

HELLO??? INSPIRATION ALERT?! Wow, I’m so honored!! Thank you so much!!

How about “Viscera?” It was going to be my au’s actual name before Doomsday since it was just a placeholder, but I grown to like it so I kept it the way it is.

If you wanna keep the same type of juxtaposition with the word Doom thennn maybe “Judgement Day?” I’m throwing out ideas if you can’t tell hehe

Oh, how about “Nope?” Like the movie. Idk lol I have no idea what your au will be about but I definitely wanna check it out!! >_<

I want to name my invader zim au but I cannot escape the word "doom" or "doomsday". This series could not be separated from those two words tbh, and I can't just call it doomsday au cause it's @project-doomsday 's au name (btw love their au, it's so cool, in fact my au is inspired by theirs, go check them out, they're incredible).

At some point I called this au "hell nah" due to the horrors. Maybe I should name it "sanity is useless" or "hell nah" again.

is there any specific reason why did Z choose Richie Horviton as an disguise for himself to blend in human society? because of it's appearance? or just simple random and how the HELL did this big ass alien fit in such a small boy's derma? even his legs are too long to!

It was actually just a coincidence. I suppose they were both there at the wrong place and time.

DD Progress/Updates 29

Heyyyy my little invaders!!! It is I, the GREAT EMatooney back it again with a long awaited update!!

Ever since the new Deltarune chapters came out I’m sure we will were all too busy focused on that than our funny green man! But now that the fires have died down I have been working tirelessly on the new pages!

So far the backgrounds are completed and the line work is almost done! I’m very excited to get these done! I’m sure you are too!

Progress is slow due to my personal life and mandatory overtime but despite that it’s all smooth sailing!

I also been working on a new animation on the doomsday au, but I decided to put it aside after these pages are complete.

Also, on a side note, if you’re a fan of Marble Hornets then I have news for you! The MH cast are working on a new mini series! I absolutely adore Marble Hornets, it is, if not, my favorite horror series of all time. The Doomsday AU was deeply inspired by Marble Hornets so I deeply encourage you all to check it out on your own!

I had a dream about the Doomsday AU and it was about me making it into a indie film where I show it in a gymnasium for middle schoolers?? (I wouldn’t even do that???)

It started off wayyyy different like it showed Dog Gir except he look hella different and Z capturing him and experimenting him. (This was all in Z’s perspective btw)

Then it cuts to Dib and for some reason as I was watching the film I met the person who voiced him (which was just an actual middle schooler?)

It was then that I realized that I did not make this film, someone else did and apparently they didn’t even know what the doomsday au was. Then I woke up.

What the fuck.

And the winner is… black eyes!! I was kinda expecting that but hey! Don’t fix what ain’t broke, right?

You guys gave some awesome advice and opinions, they’re so helpful that I actually might try some out! But the black eyes is definitely the best choice.
