Hi Devlin I want to ask about peremo, what detailed conversation did Tom and Hermione have that made Tom sulk and not want to give Hermione salt😄

Ooooh, okay, I’ll answer below the line because it’s a bit spoilery and it’s a long answer, because I have a whole story in my head for it.

SO, throughout the story and epilogue (granted it’s limited from Klaus’ POV), we see that Hermione and Tom’s relationship is tumultuous. At the point of the epilogue you’re referring to, where we’ve just seen Tom ensure that Hermione’s friends are never born and the Order will never be formed, it’s therefore safe for you to assume that they (offscreen) had a sizeable butting-of-heads.

Now, the overall backstory for Tom and Hermione that is in my mind, while it’s not really included in the epilogue considering the POV, is that Hermione is constantly pushing back against Tom, even though Klaus doesn’t witness it. She’s being blackmailed and forced to stay with Tom, and he’s forcing her silence in regards to their son, so she does whatever she can to quietly push back. One of the ways she pushes back, is by hiding her memories of Harry and the Order. This is the fight we see in the kitchen coming to a head—Tom finding out she’s been keeping memories from him of the people who in her time were responsible for his downfall.

So, weeks later, after Tom finally gets enough details out of her, the murders of the Potters, Longbottoms, Weasleys and Prewetts take place. As a result, Hermione—now with her best friends ensured to never have been born—sinks into a deeper depression, loses weight, withdraws further into herself. Now, Tom, at this point, is pretty well obsessed with Hermione. Now that he’s back in her life, he’s gradually stripping her of everything, her house, status of master of death, her son, her job, her memories, all in a bid to ensure that she has nothing but him and their relationship will become willing. She’s been resisting him for years at this point, and so then when he figures out she’s been hiding her friends and takes them from her too, he thinks that’s it. He thinks he’s removed all of the obstacles, and now she is free to properly be his.

Hermione, however, still isn’t having it, and even with nothing left, still wants her freedom from Tom. So without her wand, without freedom of speech, and without the hope of her friends one day coming together to form the Order, Hermione comes to him with this, with logic: now that he’s taken everything from her, what more can she give him? He has nothing more to gain from her, she is no longer a threat to him, why doesn’t he just let her go?

This rejection, naturally, is baffling to Tom and causes the conflict. And… that’s the master plan! I don’t think I’ll ever write it all out—it’s convoluted and dark and it’d be a whole other fic in itself—but I do hope that makes sense and answers your question 🤗🥰🖤

Okay so I’ve been reading a lot of reverse robin AUs recently and I have a hot take. Duke Thomas should be the Dick Grayson parallel instead of Damian.

Hear me out. So bare bones Duke was the last to join in cannon, so he should be the first to join for reverse robins. But to get deeper into it Duke lost both of his parents at the same time setting him down a path of becoming a vigilante. He becomes Bruce’s ward instead of being adopted because he already was raised with two good parents and doesn’t want them to be replaced. He also created his own mantle that was the opposite to Batman, the light to Batman’s dark, inspiring hope against Batman’s fear. He’s friendly and works well and inspires others, but also extremely sharp and smart which people often forget.

Damian would work well as a batgirl parallel more. He would join after Duke but be a few years older, got there already trained and immediately jumping into crime fighting. Covering the areas that Bruce and Duke don’t fill. While Duke takes up his own name Damian would use a name more inspired by Batman himself.

I just think this dynamic of Bruce and Duke being the first dynamic duo would fit so well (also get to spotlight Duke who so often gets overlooked).

Out of all of the people The Ghost King Phantom expected to relate to, it definitely wasn’t the scrawny red headed photographer of the Daily Planet. Jimmy Olsen has gotten so many temporary superpowers over his time being Superman’s friend. Hell, he once gained a 4th dimensional being’s reality warping abilities when he was given said dimensional being’s powers during a fight. Sure there’s a dozen or so heroes with the same amount of powers he has, but none as suddenly granted to them as a all powerful god that can relate to a teenager.

As it goes with every new brainrot I have, it’s time for Kirby crossover again :)

Kirby in one piece! With one piece’s strong focus on dreams and found family, I thought it would fit for Kirby to be a pirate that dreams of sailing to the stars and beyond. Not that this is very achievable by normal means, but we know that it’s at least possible with Eneru and the Skypiea arc :D

Kirby has the devil fruit power of the copy-copy fruit! A paramecia activated by contact and only able to copy one fruit at a time. It can copy logias and paramecias with no problems, though actual ability using the fruit’s powers is up to Kirby to practice and figure out. Zoans can only be copied to partial transformations and cannot be awakened. Kirby doesn’t have much of a mind for haki but has a lot of latent conquerer’s haki that he doesn’t realize— it’s one of the reasons he’s able to make friends so effortlessly.

Meta Knight in this AU is a retired marine, between Captain and Rear Admiral level. He has a bat model zoan fruit that allows him to grow wings, and is a skilled swordsman. He’s retired from the marines but acts a his own separate party that is neither revolutionary, marine, nor pirate, keeping his own fleet known as the Meta-Knights. Their actions are similar to pirates despite not flying a Jolly Roger. They claim territory to protect and occasionally fight other pirate crews, and they claim no allegiance to the world government. They simply go where they are needed. Meta Knight will sometimes sail with Kirby on his small ship, the Popstar, just to keep Kirby out of trouble and make sure the ship is well stocked and well-maintained and able to be seaworthy.

Dedede is the king to one of the small countries that isn’t represented at the Reverie. That means he has a lot more freedom to do his own thing, including setting sail while taking a crew of Dees with him and leaving the country in the hands of some administrative Dees. Dedede splits his time between exploring and sailing and returning home to run his country, with the help of his trusty second in command, Bandanna Dee. Dedede has a penguin model Zoan fruit, and Bandanna doesn’t have any devil fruit but is proficient in coating their spear in haki. They’re the designated save-the-fruit-user-from-drowning person when they’re on deck.

Kirby’s crew changes because a lot of the people he recruits tend to have their own responsibilities. His crew is also full of people he’s beaten. It’s not uncommon for Kirby to sail alone, though he gets into more scrapes than usual with bad weather and rough waves. It can hardly be called a pirate crew, but Kirby has collected all the most heinous criminals under his banner and as such, the world government treats it as a threat.
