I don’t know how to explain any more clearly that it doesn’t MATTER if it seems legitimate to you. You have got to fact check every single headline and post and claim on the left just like you need to do on the right.

The left is NOT immune to misinformation and rushed reporting. And the more emotionally polarizing or shocking the talking points, sound bytes, and headlines are, the worse it is and more frequently it happens.

Learn to verify through multiple independent sources. If you can’t do that, you can’t trust it.

If you have to wait extra hours for the real information to come through vetted channels—NOT just one individual somewhere everyone links to, and not just one single media source either, EVEN if it’s a major news network—thats just how it has to be. What news outside of genuine local disasters near you TRULY needs your outrage and post-sharing in the next hour specifically?

Misinformation works best by not seeming like misinformation and by fitting in with the rest of what you already expect to see. It doesn’t help anyone to not be able to recognize and avoid the stuff.

Josh and Sam’s Chemistry

I’m of the opinion that, even though they have less screen time together than UD’s established couples and aren’t explicitly romantic, Josh and Sam have better chemistry than most of the other Until Dawn couples. And I’m not playing here. I felt this in my bones, and I am now PREPARED to defend it with paragraphs upon paragraphs analyzing this game’s character writing.

Someone on Reddit tried to make fun of me for this opinion by saying Josh/Sam barely have any interaction. But what was not considered here is that I’m a petty bitch and am COUNTING THE LINES IN THE TRANSCRIPT NOW. Anyway, I’m more than half through the game, and currently Sam and Josh are both in each other’s TOP TWO for dialogue shared. Chris is there fighting for both their attention like mad though 😂. It’s very close so far. Like cooooome on, I’m not arguing that we have any canonical proof Josh and Sam are romantic. We don’t. But to say they don’t have very memorable interaction with each other….? Stuff and NONSENSE.

I don’t believe that those people „can‘t“ because they are so restricted or have to fear for their entire career because lesser known celebs and businesses have „risked it all“ to make their stand known, but they CHOOSE not to. and seeing videos of taylor fixing lanas hair at a multi million dollar fake art show (sorry but have y’all seen the list of huge 70s/80s artists like abba and queen never even having won 1 Grammy like what kind of fuckery) is not cute to me it’s just dystopian when on the same social media platform I see a mother in gaza dig through a pile of ashes from their charred house and finding a clump of hair from their deceased daughter some of yall need to get priorities straight and stop giving those rich privileged people - no matter how good their music might be - the time of day and praise for the littlest things when they can’t even advocate for basic human rights being violated and a population of roughly 2 million people including around 1 million children alone is crammed into a tinyyy place being flattened in the most brutal way imaginable

I don’t understand—if you’re an artist who sells your artwork online in some form, wouldn’t you want to listen to your fans requests if they want to buy your merch? And I mean just ‘adding certain artworks to the apparel section’ or ‘switching a color from white to black on a shirt’ type of request, and not a “omg draw my character!” type of request. It’s something they’d eventually do or make available anyway. Why ignore them when they just want to give you money? ☹️

I’m just here to remind everyone once again that we can’t stop protesting and boycotting and spreading the word for Palestine, even if it’s been a while. The people in power (mainly the Israeli and US governments) are relying on us losing steam.

And I do want to mention that a small bit of hope to be found among all of this is that things aren’t losing steam. I still see dozens of posts about Palestine every day, I see footage of protests almost every day, and the boycotts are working. I just want to encourage everyone that we just need to keep it up! I’ve seen so many social issues fade out over time, a week of outrage and then things settle down, but that isn’t the case here and I really respect everyone who’s still posting and protesting and seeking out information to end this once and for all. Focus on that hope, and use it to keep going :)
