Heslo! Don’t worry, I totally get it, I’m horrific with technology. I’m just glad you wanted to talk!

Kiyo! God, I adore Kiyo. I haven’t gotten to the third game yet but I’ve watched all the ftes and am obviously pretty deeply entrenched in fandom stuff so I know a good deal about him, he’s genuinely one of my favorite Danganronpa characters.

To me Kiyo reads as an abused person who hasn’t yet realized they’ve been abused. Other people can probably articulate it better than me but from what I’ve seen his Sister has dictated most everything about him from his clothes to his interests. Everything he does is for her and from the sounds of it this is still the case years after her death, that’s how deeply she’s influenced (and manipulated) him. I’m assuming that his parents were either absent or not there entirely which is why she had so much control over him. It makes me so angry about what they did to him in the 3rd trial not only because Kiyo’s character was then completely villainized but because it’s an absolutely disgusting way to paint someone who’s so clearly been abused. There’s a difference between recognizing that a character doesn’t realize they’ve been mistreated and writing them to be a goddamn serial killer (Danganronpa has a history of turning heavily traumatized characters ‘evil’ tho, just look at Toko and Syo).

Anyway, I also think Kiyo is super autistic. So many of his sprites are self-soothing positions (which could also be related to the abuse but yunno), he’s covered pretty much head to toe which could be to protect from sensory issues, and most importantly: this man infodumps like no one’s fucking business. It’s kinda all he talks about unless prompted otherwise? And there’s implication he doesn’t have a lot of control over it because he’ll cut himself off sometimes realizing he’d been talking for too long and dominating the conversation. All of his ftes with Shuichi are about essentially acting as a teacher for different anthropological subjects. That is a special interest, you can’t convince me otherwise.

Overall I think Kiyo is just a really tragic character who was completely fucked over by the writing. As someone ND myself I find him so fucking relatable. He’s seen as weird and typically keeps to himself and has a hard time holding a normal conversation. He keeps trying to just stay in the background and observe but not only does his stature make that difficult he’s also got so much to say, so much knowledge he wants to share, and he just wants someone who will listen. I hold him so dear to my heart <33

prince!suguru is... a handsome, polite man. respected and well-liked by royals, castle workers and townsfolk alike. widely renowned as the king’s favorite child. always in demand, a constant stream of invitations to attend public events, balls and banquets — ogled all the while. nothing seems to catch him off guard; he handles any conversation with practiced ease, charming and composed. you’d feel awfully safe, knowing the kingdom’s future will one day lie in his capable hands….

but all of that is surface level.

when suguru comes home, after a day full of sweet-talking princesses and speaking to the leaders of a neighbourhood kingdom — he slumps down on his bed and rots. depression style. lets out the most weary, disgruntled groan you’ve ever heard, and curls up like a sad shrimp. pouts and whines and mentally debates if he should ask one of the maids for a snack or let the hunger claim him. he’s basically just an introvert with a horrendous social battery and no choice but to act like a perfect prince every day. he’s so tired of it. he just wants to sleep in and drink tea and practice playing the harp :((( poor baby.

i’m thinking reader is his newly-appointed maid. and you’re obviously a little intimidated by him, because how couldn’t you be? but after a while, after spending so much time with him, you inevitably realize that he’s… kind of a loser. a little soggy. seeing how quickly he goes from ☺️ to 😞 gives you whiplash. and he gets very attached to you!!! he likes it when you coddle him a bit…. most of his maids are way older, but you’re just about his age. and he’s a little starved of normal interactions with friends. so he starts requesting your ”help” (it’s really just your company, he’s not as spoiled as you’d think) more than anyone else.

basically !!!! he’s a sad little soggy prince :33 lots of gap moe . on the outside he’s smiling, on the inside he’s daydreaming about a missile dropping down and setting the kingdom on fire. he is hanging on by a Thread. please vote for him in the next royal election.

There’s a fond tilt to his lips as he cards his fingers through Bdubs’ hair, the sensation of the strands slipping through his fingers and the weight of the head pillowed on his chest grounding. It feels right, just so, a surety that seeps into his bones and nestles there. With Bdubs curled up on the grass beside him, face turned outwards and the sleepy smile tugging at his expression just barely peeking out from beneath the arm thrown over his eyes, the irony isn’t lost on him.

Dbhc Etho isn’t human, as much as he’s feeling and acting like one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so there’s a little nugget of angst there.

for context, they’re lying in the sun - it’s set around early season 10, maybe around when Bdubs plants the forest around his area. Seeing as Etho was made for terraforming and gardening, it would only make sense for him to be helping Bdubs out with it.

Anyway. Spending a long day in the heat to dig holes, place saplings in them and cover them over again is pretty physically intensive. So Bdubs, being Bdubs, is tired and just wants to lie in the sunshine for a bit. Who’s to say Etho doesn’t join him (he does) (Bdubs ends up lying his head on Etho’s chest)

(there’s some serious angst potential here. Bdubs missed his uh, friend, when he wasn’t around before redeviating. Maybe he cries about it. Maybe Etho has some feelings about that)

“Hey, you,” Bdubs murmurs, nose crinkling as his face stretches into a yawn, shifting the arm thrown over his eyes to open them for a few seconds and squint up at where Etho stands, blocking the rays of late-afternoon sunlight.

“Hey yourself, ‘Dubs,” he replies, unable to help the amusement creeping into his tone. Unregistered emotion detected, the notification flashes, which he ignores in favour of stuffing his hands into his pockets, raising an eyebrow at where Bdubs lies spread-eagled on the ground by his feet, well-worn soil stained gloves discarded and cast off to the side. “What ‘cha up to?” 

An incoherent “Mm” is all he gets in response, and it’s a conscious effort not to huff with laughter. The half-hearted glare from Bdubs proves the challenge impossible.

He could absolutely make a game of annoying Bdubs, Etho decides, mentally noting the thought and storing it to contemplate later. “I finished fixing your saplings,” is what he opts for instead, this time receiving a longer and slightly more coherent mumble he takes to mean as a thank you, and not a get your shadow away from me as it was likely intended.

“What was that?” He teases, putting a hand to his ear and leaning down slightly, blocking the sun further. “Is it past your bedtime?” 

Bdubs scowls as a breeze sweeps past, and had Etho been human he’d be completely caught off guard as the other reaches up to yank his arm. As it is he makes a show of stumbling, catching himself before using the connection to pivot and flop down besides Bdubs on the grass, greeted by Bdubs blinking blearily up at him, one eye open and the other shut against the brightness once again unobscured by Etho’s figure. 

“If you’re going to sit here, at least lie down, for goodness’ sakes,” he grumbles, but there’s no real heat behind the words. He resolutely ignores the way Bdubs’ touch lingers on his arm before falling back to his side. Unregistered emotion, the warning flashes. He ignores that, too.

formatting on mobile is incredibly time consuming but we got there in the end :’D

ur post about pre stanford fights is sooooo real. ive always kinda had the belief that john and sam would verbally fight, maybe get in each others faces

but dean would be the one that would actually hit sam, cuz it would just be normal to them? like they would be used to sparring and play fighting so when hes pissed, he would just... hit him

like i can very easily imagine a scenario where john and sam got in a massive fight and they both storm away from each other, where dean follows sam and punches him and says something like "thats cuz dad would NEVER do that to you but you deserve it" or something

yeah almost everything regarding the physical abuse in their childhood is speculative and probably depends on The Reader’s personal experiences lol but w/ john’s quick temper it is not at all a stretch to conclude he lashed out physically during especially heated moments. and then felt horrible abt it but never apologized because how does one apologize. see, here I’m projecting based on my own experiences as most people do :)

but anyway this is the type of behavior that was modeled for dean as being normal for The Man Of The House. we can extrapolate john’s preseries behavior based on dean’s canon onscreen behavior towards sam for 15 seasons. this is for some reason a difficult concept for people to accept (well. we know why)

I hate this bisexual straight couple I know. Like the man thinks he should have transitions and regrets not transitioning/has been with men & the woman is like a mix of a hag and a party lesbian. I wish they like never told me their business that’s not even that crazy but at times it’s like they are looking for a third but also jealous of who I spend time with like the man wants my approval so bad and was telling me abt this trans experience he had and his gf found out and made me tell her than she brought it up to him during brunch like “why didn’t you tell me” and he tries to bitch to me about her anytime we’re both alone and she will share sexual things about him to me in front of him as he twerks it’s sooooo wild. AUGHHHHH YES THANK YOU I THINK SO TOO….!!!!!! Idk it’s kind of a mess when i try to put it into words but it’s like…something about them both being in the “shadow” of rapunzel and eugene respectively. they just both handle it very differently…bc lance i feel is always looking out for others and it leads him to neglect himself a lot, but when he really looks into it and he sees eugene’s growth and how he’s come into his own…how he’s found his roots and even his father….as happy for him as he is lance can’t help but feel a bit bitter sometimes. it’s the secondary character syndrome yk!!!! lance just hasn’t really reached a “breaking point” like cass has because he’s trying to manage it in a healthier way…he’s trying to make a life for himself with what he has and he’s realizing he likes things a lot as they are. but that doesn’t make that grief of what he wish he could’ve had just go away….so when he does confide in someone abt those feelings nobody rlly gets it more than cass does. and more than anyone else LANCE is the one who truly understands why cass did what she did.

this little fic of them is very important to me... this one is also one i think about a lot. it’s hard to find lance fics in this economy. :( i like to think they bonded a little leading up to destinies collide, not enough for cass to change her mind about leaving but enough to give them both some food for thought you feel me…..they both just have this unspoken Understanding with each other, and they both admire each other a lot. the shenanigans cass lance and eugene would get into would also be SO silly so it’s a shame we never really saw them interact </3

cass seems to be inherently drawn to the golden retriever type anyways whether she likes it or not so i’m sure lance and rapunzel drag her out on day trips all the time. she and lance gossip together and stuff yk...i think post series she’ll often still go out of the kingdom for work trips (in my head after settling with rapunzel she works as an ambassador for corona, mostly just to be able to get out more while still helping raps), and sometimes in the middle of the night as shes on her way back she’ll stop at his place in old corona just to steal food from him. leaves him a horribly written note and a cool rock or something. like. “Took a piece of the pie in the oven. There were already slices taken out so I figured it’d be fine. Oh I’m back btw. Not dead yet”

they also play pranks on eugene together ALL the time and this is canon actually i made the show. lance can honestly get her to do anything if he can convince her it’ll annoy eugene somehow /hj

ALSO LANCE BEING A WINGMAN FOR CASSUNZEL IS SOMETHING I NEED SOOOOO BAD AND I CANT BELIEVE NOBODY’S THOUGHT OF IT BEFORE.
