More Semester specific info under the cut🧍🏾‍♀️. (03/04/2024)

I’m in my 6th Semester which, all things being equal, should’ve been my last. But I haven’t particularly been the best student due to a…. bunch of stuff. So I may end up taking an extra semester or two. I’m done most of my classes though so I just have exams to write. A lot. Im also doing the Lab for Physics 2 now cause I wasn’t able to do it in my 2nd Semester because my apartment didn’t have electricity or WiFi lmao.

Main Goals for The Semester

Get 1’s on every exam. Ridiculously ambitious considering the highest grade I’ve ever gotten is a 1,3 and that was just once but if I don’t see the point in not aiming for a perfect grade. Like, I might as well.

Up my gpa as much as I can, hence the 1’s. I want to make sure I get into a good masters program and I’m sort of glad I delayed a bunch of my exams cause I would’ve probably gotten shit grades if I wrote them then so. Silver lining.

Study consistently and try to be more interested in the material. I always feel like a fraud when I pass any exam cause I feel like I didn’t really learn anything and I won’t be able to get a job. My degree has some interesting parts and I want to learn to enjoy the entirety of it. Basically up my curiosity for knowledge.

Work on my German. I’ve not set down a solid plan for this yet but I definitely need improvement. I avoided all the electives that required presentations last semester and I heavily regret it now. The only way to dissolve the anxiety over speaking German is to give myself nothing to worry about in the first place. I’m also looking forward to being more comfortable with it so I can focus on learning my native language and many others.

Practice the violin consistently. I’m super shy about practicing in my apartment cause I assume everybody thinks it sounds terrible and it’s too loud but my goal is overcome that fear and make significant progress.

Practice drawing consistently. I really do want to improve my art and I’m like a beginner beginner beginner. It can feel super discouraging sometimes but also fun and I really hope I can stick with it.

Clean my room every Saturday.

I pqlanned to write a whole lot more here but I’m not in the mood anymore so the whole cut thing feels like a waste. But it’s been done. So. Thank you for bothering to read this and I hope you get to achieve all your goals🤍.

Wataru undoubtedly loves Pda, but if his s/o’s shy and has anxiety while going on dates or errands, he’ll minimize it to holding hands, and maybe a kiss on the cheek here and there

He’s really into wearing or having matching stuff, like phone cases, outfits, anything that comes into mind

His ideal type of dates are definitely going to a theater or an art museum. Especially if you’re a bit fidgety in public, he’ll hold onto your hand as you both walk watching the exhibitions or sitting together and enjoying a wonderful show.

However, he’s very surprised when you change moods around him when you’re alone together. So, he enjoys every chance he can at receiving your affection

Absolutely loves it when you’re clingy and he’s clingy himself so..prepare for a night of cudding and kisses

Wataru notices how you act around his friends or people you really don’t like, and smiles at the thought of your face after having to deal with anyone you’re not comfortable with

He draws the line when he sees people talking bad about you; for being “too quiet” , he makes sure to always lend a shoulder when times are rough or if you’ve had a bad day in general. And would not hesitate to take action if things escalate

Wataru has a special seat for you in the theater, everytime the teather club holds an activity, he always reserves that spot for you, so when you’re in the crowd he gets to see you

He understands if you get overwhelmed in public, especially if you’re used to masking emotions to make him happy or at least appear to be, and he reassures you that it doesn’t matter if you’re shy or not, he loves you for who you are

Wataru secretly enjoys the way you cling onto him at home, he gets a bit nervous for the first time when you hugged him fully, not wanting to make things ‘weird’ betwen you both when you started dating

However, now whenever you hug him like that, his arms wrap around your waist as he hugs you back, enjoying how close you both turned out to be.

2022 Reflections

Hi everyone! Given the recent Twitter debacle, I’m glad I quietly keep my Tumblr active even if I don’t speak much. I wanted to thank you all for the support and kindness in another tough year - whether it’s sharing/buying my art or just putting up with my incessant fandom hopping and random posts (World Cup blogging in 2022, man…).

This account turned 10 this year which is terrifying to think about; I’ve gone through many a phase and fandom and whilst I try to clear out old art I’m embarrassed by, I know some of you remember it and if anything it makes me happy I could create work that stays in people’s minds so vividly! Even if I cringe now at XYZ, I’ll always be grateful for something that spurred me to draw. Inspiration can be hard to come by in these times, as we all know. I also have that Atsumu x Hinata story from 2020 in a word doc… I swear I’ll finish my first proper fic and share it one day!

Life has kept me busy, and my late 20s just get crazier, but I’ll find time to continue drawing and making self-indulgent book projects in 2023. Hopefully a few more cons too… I say I’ll retire every year and then never do 😩. I started One Piece and Bungo Stray Dogs among other things recently so god knows what kind of shit I’ll be sharing in the near future (really enjoying both, plus the multitude of other series I’m keeping up with!) and I also want to dedicate more time to original art and OCs. Please hold me accountable for that, I’m terribly shy at sharing my characters and stories! 😣

First, I want to thank @tackytigerfic for their post that led me to this fic. I’m so glad you provided me with an opportunity to find it, read it, and love it.

I know there’s a lot of demand for eight year fics that give representation to realistic trauma, and I think I’ve found THE fic for those who are interested in that. Technically, it mostly takes place at Grimmauld, in the summer between the battle and eighth year, but somehow I feel like this makes it even more of an eighth year fic than some that take place solely at Hogwarts. This in between stage of life and the uncertainty of the future are staples of eighth year fics, and this one might have just become one of my favorite in this category.

First, this fic let the characters be both fun and broken. Ginny Weasley who is terribly sad and therefore a little mean but also the life of the party. Dean and Seamus that are so in love with each other, so sure in their knowledge of the stability of that love, that nothing can shake them. Pansy who simultaneously doesn’t want to be alive because life can be so, so hard but also fiercely loves life and wants a future. Neville, soft and shy but steadfast (and literally the hottest of hot).

Secondly, the characters all love each other - deeply and messily and sometimes unhealthily when they don’t like each other, but they are a family of their own bound together by love and understanding and forgiveness.

Is this a fic about Harry and Draco getting together? Yes. Is this also a fic with an interesting adventure and problems left behind by Dumbledore that must still be solved? Yes! And the problem/solution of that plot makes the romance that much more interesting.

Lastly, this fic features a quiet, private world just for Harry and Draco to look at art. A place for them to grow from the boys forced into a war into the men they will choose to be in the aftermath. It’s anger and grief are real and tangible, but so is the hope and love.

i think i’m a v honest person, and i suppose i don’t mind saying what’s on my mind if i’m close to u. but to others, i filter what i say, and i tend to “people please” by saying what might be favourable to them. i’m really introverted and shy lol, it takes me a while to warm up to someone, but when i do, i’m pretty extroverted and loud :,) i think i’m also realistic, and i can sometimes be pessimistic, but i’m trying to be more hopeful about the future lately hehe. i feel like i’m also often trying to take care of my friends, and it’s like i’m the mother of the group ;-; and i would say that i’m quite empathetic, so a lot of the times, my friends do come to me for advice or just to hear some comforting words. i’m an infj :) and i’m a cancer ! i go by she/her !!

i like to write, read, and draw sometimes (not v good at it but it’s a calming activity imo). i also like to watch kdramas and anime <3 they’re probably one of my favourite things in the world !! and i like to cook (baking not so much idk why)—it’s also kinda therapeutic. i also love shopping, but specifically shopping for my things (idk how to feel ab grocery shopping :/)

okay this actually was so easy for me to settle on, i literally read your personality info and the first person who came to mind was isagi. i weighed out all the other options, but no one else really clicked in my head other than him. i think about this man like so often; and knowing so much about him, there's no doubt that you two would be so compatible!

one thing that really stood out to me amidst all of isagi's personality traits, is his perceptiveness. obviously he's extremely good at reading the field, but his true talent is reading people. while you're very introverted and tend to keep to yourself at first, he'd be able to figure out a way to make you feel comfortable around him upon the first introduction. he wouldn't be alarmed by your shyness, but rather intrigued and he'd want to understand you better; in fact, he'd make it a challenge for himself to do so. immediately, he'd be able to notice the difference between you telling the truth and you trying to 'people please'— but no matter which one is occurring, he wouldn't call you out on it. he'd trust that you're saying and doing whatever you feel comfortable with, and respect that. he'd also enjoy your outgoingness once you finally open up to him, and his favorite thing in the world would be whenever he's able to make you laugh. isagi loves a girl who laughs a lot whilst showing a beautiful smile; and he'd wish he had a photographic memory just to revisit that look on your face when he's struggling on the field, in need of some comfort.

i don't necessarily think you two are total opposites, but there are definitely some things that you differ on; one being his optimism vs. your pessimism. isagi is someone who lives on adrenaline and keeping his head in the clouds. he believes that everything will work out for him so long as he continues to practice and find a new solution; however, he needs someone who can keep him grounded. if he spends too much time in the clouds, his feet will never come back to earth. with your realist perspective, you can tell him when he needs to focus or lock in on a goal— whilst also making sure that he isn't getting too ahead of himself. the reverse is also true. he uses his extreme optimism and drive to encourage you to take those chances that you normally wouldn't with your realism holding you back. he wants you to fly in the cloud with him, and looks forward to that safe landing he knows you'll bring. you keep him from flying away. he makes sure you're not stuck to the ground forever.

even though he's an optimist, isagi is so hard on himself. he beats himself up after every game even if he's the one who scored the winning goal. to him, there's nothing more important than improving; which is why your advice is so valuable. if anything, you'd surely be his rock in the midst of the chaos of his football career. he'd rely on you when he's feeling down and go to you whenever he needs some words of encouragement. with those words, he'd close his eyes and try to recall them— recite them— before he has a game (it's his good luck charm) and feel so much stronger. your the person he looks up to most. it's not noel noa. it's you. he hangs onto your every word, his attention is undivided, because he knows that you only want the best for him. your advice is selfless, and yes, maybe he is selfish for asking for it so often, but can you blame him? you're the shining sun when he's rained off the field and the sweeping waves when he visits the beach. your physical and emotional beauty astonish him.

on his off days, isagi loves to go for walks, read manga, or simply stay at home with you. surely, he'd be the one to hand you your sneakers and tell you that there's a new cafe open downtown that he wants to try— knowing full well that you've been looking forward to it for weeks. when the two of you are walking through the city, he's bound to take a few pictures with fans; and while you're holding up the phone telling them to say 'cheese', isagi smiles after, telling the strangers: "isn't my girlfriend so cute?" he's such a character. if you choose to spend the day at home, baking and such, he tries his best to help out in the kitchen. though, it never really works out as planned. isagi has his certain skills, baking not being one of them (i.e. soccer being the only one) which causes your sweets to be a little lopsided. however, his company isn't a burden as he makes you giggle and smile with his quips and encouragements as you try a new recipe. isagi loves spending time with you when he can, and he makes sure to make the most of it.

your boyfriend is someone who thinks on his feet, pre-planning has never really been his thing, which is why it was no surprise when he laced up your sneakers and led you to the train station with no prior warning. "c'mon, that new cafe opened in ginza." is what he'd said to you; trying to sound spontaneous, even though he so obviously remembered you've been looking forward to it for months now.

the two of you are nearly there, just a few blocks away since you somehow got off the train two stops too early, when a pair of middle school (?) girls stop you in your tracks. "excuse me, do you mind if we get a photo with you isagi?" to which he gladly accepts.

naturally, you offer to take the photo, being used to your boyfriend's adoring fans and tell the girls to smile big. it's so adorable the way his face lights up whenever he's able to share his passion for football with someone new. you love that beaming look on his face and are so grateful that you get to look at that grin every day of your life.

"the girl taking the photo..." isagi begins to say to the fans, worrying you that he's about to make some joke that you won't find funny. "she's my girlfriend." aw.

they both nod at his words, commenting on how pretty they think you are, before he continues to speak.

"isn't she gorgeous?"

he always knows how to make you blush. damn him.

"you're a flirt, yoichi." you shake your head, giggling softly as you hand the phone back to the girls. "i can't take you anywhere, can i?"

he reaches out, lovingly clasping his large hand over yours and kisses your temple. it's a very public display of romance, but he made sure to cover your face while doing so, knowing that you tend to get a little embarrassed by those sort of things. "i'm the luckiest man in the world." his voice is so caring, so loving. "i'm going to tell everyone i'm yours whenever i get the chance."

Okay I’m too shy and awkward to actually write this as not-nonny but still, after I read your lore post, wanted to nerd out hehe

First, you used to paint minis??? That’s so cool!!I used to watch a lot of videos when I first got into DnD and how people made the maps/dungeons and all that good stuff. I’ve always been fascinated by dioramas so when I found the fantasy version of those I was ecstatic to say the least hehe I don’t really have the chance to play DnD as I don’t have people who are interested, but I’ve been enjoying some solo journaling TTRPG lately and it’s been really fun! (Apawthecaria is my fave and I suggest check it out if you were interested in Wanderhome)

Second, as a fellow artist I really relate to the need of always make something and it’s inspiring to see others make their own stuff, not matter the form! As somebody who struggles with mental health as well, make art, read ifs and get inspired by others creators has helped me a lot through the years.

I’m really sorry to hear about your chronic disease but, I really hope that things will get a little better and more manageable, at least a bit, with time 💕

Going back to your if, I’m really curious about the Void and what inspired you for the concept of it? Also, I can’t wait for the descriptions of monsters and fight scenes in case we’ll get some of those ✨

I made dioramas for my homebrew dnd setting when I was a teen, I made a sculpting material from salt, flour, water and then sculpted on canvas boards and painted it with acrylics when it dried. I want to make more elaborate ones once I have the space to!

It's difficult to find a group to play with, I've only had two groups, one in person that fell apart, and now my fiance and I have a bunch of amazing online buddies that we play with over discord. I actually met my bff on tiktok when I was on there after I made a dragonage video and we bonded lmao, he's a great buddy. I hope you'll be able to find some people to play with.

I used to be an artist myself just like you, but unfortunately, i lost my passion for it specifically because of lack of time to do so, and i lost motivation 💔 (another reason might also be that i tend to compare my art to other talented artist which makes me insecure) i haven't drawn in years. Thank you for such a sweet ask, I am very happy and honoured to hear that I’m one of your favourite artists.

To answer your question, I spend pretty much every free moment drawing, but that’s just because I am so used to drawing all the time. This has been my main activity for almost my entire life lol so I don’t really get art blocks or dips in motivation. But I still understand what you’re talking about.

To be honest, despite drawing pretty much all day, these days I have ~3 hours of free time drawing for myself (except weekends), because I spend the rest of the time working, which is also drawing… Although ~3 hours probably doesn’t sound like “having no time to draw”, it’s usually not enough for me, I guess? So I have to prioritize certain ideas and simplify sketches sometimes, with the idea that I’ll get back to them and fix/add to them later. So if you can get an hour or even 30 minutes of free time to just sit down and draw just a little bit, even if it’s just doodling some ideas for the future (remember that you can always come back to them later) or studies, it would be great, because it’ll get your brain working in that direction again. Don’t stress it too much; once again, even if it’s just a little sketch of a flying head, it’s something. Which means it’s good! Some days you’ll have more time and energy and you’ll draw more. Some days you’ll barely draw anything, but this repetition is still very important. I guess the first tip I’m trying to give you is that it’s important to have discipline and create a timeslot for your drawing, preferably every day or every other day. Just to kick things off.

When it comes to comparing yourself to others, yeah it can be a serious issue that kills your motivation. And it’s easy to say “just don’t do that”, but I’ll still say it in a bit of a different way: try to keep in mind that if this artist was able to do that, it’s not unachievable for you. I usually try to either get inspired by other artists or to analyze them, trying to look for what exactly there is that I love about their art and would like to do myself. But also, you don’t have to draw like them. It’s cheesy, but no one can do what you do other than you.

When it comes to the likes, because it can be upsetting sometimes when you look at the numbers that other people make despite you having similar content, try to either ignore it altogether (another “easy to say” advice, I know) or keep in mind that there are other reasons behind the number of likes and not just the art itself.

We usually look at the artists whose skill is so stupidly high that it doesn’t feel like a competition anymore lol So we can only look at them in awe…and think about how to recreate some of the effects from their work.

Another very important thing that I love to talk about is that you should remember how fun it feels to draw. Try to think what made you fall in love with drawing and what your favourite thing to draw was. Indulge in it, draw it as many times as you want. Draw any idea you have an inkling for, even if it feels weird or stupid; I genuinely think that it makes the creative part of your brain work better and makes you enjoy the process of drawing more. Art is hard, it requires discipline, but it shouldn’t feel as a chore.

Overall, I hope you’ll find both time and motivation to draw and to have fun with it. Good luck and thank you again!

Every board game you play he’ll try and turn it into a stripping game. He thinks he’s won if the game is swept off to the side and he has you on the table instead. So be warned.

He’s outwardly flirty and sociable around people, which gives you time to warm up to the new people. However you know this is more of a front Nihil puts on, yes he is sociable ans very flirty but he does have more too him. He’s only his true self around people he really trusts, like you.

He’s all up for your sass and sarcasm. He enjoys it, he’ll give it back.

He’d never been kayaking before, but after falling in a few times (which wrecked his paints) he started to really love it. He also enjoys hiking but more because he gets to spend time with you.

He loves playing music with you, he is particularly happy if you let him play the saxophone.

If you are having a nap he'll flop down next to you and cuddle you. Then he'll end up falling asleep.

He always naps because he stays up far too late most of the time.

It took you a while to really get to know him, his first impression was the flirty jokey side. After asking what job you did he dicided to tell you he'd once been a zookeeper but been fired. You asked why and a small smile danced on his lips as he said "Well, there was a sign saying please don't feed the animals. So I didn't and I got the sack." He then breaks out into a massive grin and starts chuckling "get it?"

Not his best joke but you couldn't help yourself you smiled. He then started asking about your art, he really liked it. You found yourselves hanging out a lot more, talking more, it just grew from there.

Your humor is just so…idk…I feel like you are one of those people who has something to say about everything. I want to talk to you IRL. The smash or pass thing you made with Hetalia characters was absolute gold from start to finish. The sound effects, music and everything you said about all the characters. You had me ugly laughing. It’s like an art for where you managed to make something that should have been completely cringy just unserious and lighthearted as possible. You passed on my bae Prussia and I can’t even be mad about because what you said was so funny. I even showed it to my friends who don’t even like hetalia much and they still thought it was hilarious. The tags you leave on things, posts you make, not even just about what you say about hetalia either. Just your stories from real life. Maybe it’s just how you word things Idk. As for a ‘script’ of the video it doesn’t really exist. I didn’t write any jokes or stuff down it was just off the top of my head in the moment I was doing lines. I just stared at pictures of the character and spoke from the heart. I don’t feel like it would have been near as well received if I actually wrote a script. I didn’t even plan on doing the Romano thirst trap at the end it just sort of happened. There was a general outline of things I knew I wanted to do as far as photoshop wise and characters I was going to cover. I got pretty severe unmedicated ADHD so if I don’t finish something when I start it it’ll just never get done. So I’m not really one for planning things I make too much because if I do I’ll get bored or side tracked and forget it exists.

If you guys wanted to make a version of the video yourself and don’t really have any idea how to do something like that you can get a hold of me and I will gladly give over the templates of the characters stills. Or if a lot of people ask I’ll just make a master post for everyone to use

I’ve been lovingly following this for a while now, trying to think of one person to shout out. And I can’t because there are so many people I adore and want to list.

So I’ll do this.

The Viking fandom has been so welcoming and supportive. I’ve been in fan spaces (before we really called them fandoms) for a long time. And this one has become not only a favorite of mine, but one of the most welcoming.

I know as a super multi-fandom person, I haven’t been too active in this corner for a while. But I love that many of you are all still here and when I have returned after being away, I’ve always been warmly embraced.

I was nervous to write for vikings publicly at first, back in 2020. Though I’m so passionate about it, I was just shy. I was accepted and supported so quickly, faster than any other fandom I’m currently in or adjacent to. This means the world to me.

I think I was also nervous as a mixed race/multi racial / brown gal (who has always been Viking obsessed by the way). I rarely to never felt isolated or like I didn’t belong in this space. This is such a special feeling.

I have made friends in this fandom. I’ve read many amazing stories, enjoyed endless amazing art and edits - even the people I don’t know well, or have been too shy to contact, I know who they are and admire their work. There are so many fantastic writers here!

So this is an open love and appreciation letter to this group. I hope you all know how great you are. 💕

It's so difficult to name just one person, to narrow things down to perhaps only a few mentions, because so many people here are ones we love interacting with. All right well this post is long overdue mostly because I’ve been really distracted well here I am to explain what my character and the future of this ask blog will look like I guess

1: who is Alexander? Alexander the angel drew is a character I made back in 2017 I’m surprise i was able come up with a decent design. I found some papers that I had written back in 2017 explaining this character don’t think I forgot about him. I just didn’t pay much mind to him after about a year or so here’s his story

2: His story

Alexander the angel Drew was made by a man named Jackson Rose drew he was a married man married to  Annie faith Yearwood eventually when they got married, she changed her last name to Drew in the family, ran a long history of artists and mechanics, and lots of toons both made by the artists or made naturally by the toons sadly, Jackson and Annie could not have children due to infertility issues, so they decided to make a son but they didn’t know what to make him as in the family they were four categories of cartoon characters that ran in the family demons, angels, forest creatures, and mixes since both were heavily religious they decided to make an angel to this day only Alexander and his parents know how he was made. They decided to keep it a secret, but they are blood related, but no rituals were done so on Christmas Day at 12:00 sharp Alexander was born. Now as Alexander got older his parents told him that cartoons and humans have always gotten along somewhat well, but it was still dangerous for him since cartoons were considered freaks and we’re only meant for entertainment. They told him that there was a place called toontown that was safe for him so he decided to leave and go live in toontown  when he was only 16 when he arrives at Toon town he decide to the study for some time and at the age of 20 he became a priest now he is 22 and happy with his life  

3: personality

He’s a very shy person doesn’t enjoy conflict much he is very smart and tends to keep to himself. He is not married because he’s not allowed to be married and he is celibate (which means he’s a virgin/must stay a virgin) he’s a very kind and joyful person and loves children he’s not a big fan of alcohol primarily because he’s not allowed to drink alcohol due to him being a priest, but also because of the effects of alcohol also he LOVES god which he can’t help because well…his mom and dad add 3 drops of holy water in the mix when the were making him that’s besides the point he reads the Bible constantly and loves singing although he is too embarrassed to say in front of anyone he is kinda clumsy

WOW that was a lot of writing. Well I hope you guys enjoyed this little ask blog I have going on and I will begin posting art tomorrow. I will say this though I am still in school. So after three months, my posting will be slowing down but not completely. and I will be taking breaks after school begins. so ye BYE BYE FOR NOW
