Man, I was supposed to do so much traveling this year. It was going to be my year Fr. I was going to start off the year in March going to Amsterdam, London and either somewhere in Denmark or Paris. (I wanted to do Denmark I threatened to stay in Amsterdam if everyone went to Paris lol). That was going to be a 2 week vacation. Then in the fall I was going to go on a cruise that started in NYC and traveled up the Americas coast ending in in Canada I’m forgetting where because not like it matters anymore because I had to cancel the tickets. I think Nova Scotia.

Because my Chihuahua is so sick I’m not going anymore, I mean like sure I could go. I’m sure I could pay a family member to watch him like my sister who he stayed with when we went to Italy or my Aunt who for a living has a doggy boarding kennel who watched my other dogs but he requires much more care than this time last year. I don’t trust anyone else to give him proper care he’s 18, he has dementia, has separation anxiety, wears a belly band diaper and walks in circles. He doesn’t need 24 hour care but he needs quality care. I know if I went the whole time I was gone I would be thinking about him and I would feel guilty for leaving him. There will be other times to travel in my life’s but he does not have much time left. I know it’s a matter of time before he is paralyzed or unable to get out of bed.

Idk I’m just bummed out. I mean I’m not mad at him of course it’s not his fault he doesn’t want this either.

Just found your Ice & Fir AU. Love everything about it. I will say I have never met an Iron Islands fan in the wild but I am here for it.

Thank you for loving my Hetalia x Song of Ice and Fire crossover, I worked an embarrassingly long amount of time on it. So it does make me actually very happy when people go out of their way to tell me they enjoy it.

And yes I fucking love the Iron Islands. They are the trailer park of Westeros and I love them so much. They might be dirty pirates with no redeemable qualities. But they are my disgusting filthy pirates who pray to Cthulhu on their ugly and boring islands with magical fun time's, icons really.

The fact that your experience with one rando salesman in the largest city in Sicily was so profound that just mentioning him on the internet and people who live there know exactly who you were talking about is insanity btw.

I knew they would know who I was talking about because I don't think you are quite grasping the level of respect and authority corn guy commanded.

The first time we saw him we were so confused. So we are sitting there in the market right? Having a couple Messina, chilling, vibing, watching a guy cut up a tuna that was bigger than me.

Then we hear screaming, and shouting and someone laying on their horn. The entirety of the market stops production. and all of the shop keepers completely abandon their stands and flock to this little blue truck. The lady who owned teh stand we were chilling at hurries over to us and says something excitedly in Italian and we were like "Ohh, okay..." Obviously having no idea what she said. And she hurries over there and the guy hops out of the truck and goes to teh back and opens up this big blue oil drum like bucket and starts dealing out ears of corn, quickly like it is a crime. Everyone is taking armfuls of corn and going back to their stands to stash them away. We were sitting there like 😮. So many questions. What is happing, why is it happening. The lady who owns the stand we were at hurries back over and excitedly tells us about her corn in Italian and we again did the "Oh okay" Smile and nod because again we had no idea what she said or what he said or what anyone said. Then he gets back into his truck and leaves and the singing and dancing continues as if nothing happened. But we who seemed to be the only foreigners around at the time were so very confused at what happened. After he had gone and some time had passed only then did my dad say "The fuck just happened?" to me because I was the one who did the research on the culture for the trip and I said "I-I don't know...I don't know what that was." Then we proceeded to see him every day after that. Idk how we missed him the first couple days we were there tbh. Gotta be in the right place at the right time for corn guy. Eventually when we heard screaming in the back streets we would look at each other and say "Corn guys around" It was beautiful, culture is beautiful

After spending a week in Palermo, Sicily I can confirm that...Yes... It's really like this.

Especially the road part. You really just gotta do a Hail Mary, sign of the cross and just cross the street and hope to god whoever it is stops, then you gotta give them a shy little cuck 'thank you' wave and make eye contact with the driver to be sure they saw you and are not just going to run you over. They are some of the nicest people ever but put them behind the wheel of a car and they undergo a transformation.

One of my tour guides said "When you cross the street you can't show fear because they are looking for that, they take it as a challenge. And after they let you cross you wave, I don't know why we do this is. I think it's thanking them for not killing you. It is just something we do."

I will say you do get used to it fairly quickly.

Sorry to bother you, but a while back, you shared a story about your time in Sicily, specifically about a corn salesman. I’m a native of Palermo, and I’ve been looking for that story for a few days. I want to show it to my mom because she knows the corn man! It’s just such a quintessential Sicilian experience.

to answer your question as to where. I was right across from the Ballarò market, so I would just have to through one side street and it would bet there. I don't know addresses I'm terrible with that kind of stuff I'm sorry lol. But behind our apartment was a gun store, so maybe you know where I'm talking about.

My family in Texas sent me back gourmet popcorn that they make 😭 and here I thought no one missed my absence. Red velvet and banana pudding flavored 😩. My mom said they tried to package me up some banana pudding for them to bring me but it wouldn’t let the 14 hour drive. Maybe next time 🥲

what kind of boyfriend do you think Italy would be?

I actually think Italy would be a pretty terrible boyfriend. I think he would take you out, treat you right and stuff but I also feel like he would love bomb a lot, never want to have serious relationship talks, would be manipulative, really bad about gas lighting, would be really jealous over anything you do but would not hold himself to the same standards. Like if you had a male friend he wouldn’t like that but he would have no problem flirting with another girl right I front of your face and wouldn’t get what the big deal was. Those are just my thoughts. Don’t get me wrong I would still 100% date him and be obsessed with him and Probaly just care about any of it but basses on his personality I just don’t think he and I are a match.

On the other hand though I’m in love with his brother more I think Romano and I would be perfect together personality wise . I think we are the perfect yin and yang but have enough similarities that we would mesh well. I need a man who will tell me what to do, where I want to eat, what I want to eat, how much to drink, what to drink. I want a man who will boss me around but also not at the same time.

This game looked so bazar I wish it would have gotten translated. Every screenshot is extremely blurry but I think that adds to it. It’s like finding etchings in a cave wall.

Let’s take a look see shall we? I don’t know what happens in this game nor do i care too much because I assume the story is pretty meh. So I’ll make my own story based on a series of limited screen shots i found on Google images. (When I dunk on Seychelles I am dragging the game version of her as a the main character in a dating sim, not her actually character in the manga and anime)

This is what American public school was like. The popular kids teasing the Emo kid. The jock choking out his pet twink in the back of the class, all whilst the class weeb stands in a defensive position and awaits his turn patiently for his daily ass whooping. And of course then the girl who is NOT like other girls and does not do the drama. She will not report this behavior to the teachers because she to is ‘one of the boys’ Just as god intended. 

Did he bring a weapon to school? Is he going to kill those extras?! Regardless he looks so happy about it, so I’m happy for him. Why is that one guy over there undressing. Seychelles being the ULTIMATE pick me. She’s so tiny and shy. She couldn’t possibly defend herself. 

what even is England’s outfit here… Like we get it you’re England. Why did he take her to an abandoned woods away from the city at NIGHT? Girl run! Don’t turn your back to him.

Italy is just on his knees screaming at that pie. Absolute feral behavior we have all come to expect from him. Meanwhile Austria over here about to ‘instant transmission’ himself away from these insufferable dipshits.

Does Prussia even attend this school or does he just hang out in the back ally. Is he like that one kid who graduated and would go back to school and visit the teachers and talk to the students about how ‘these were the best years of my life’. When I was in high school we had this guy who was 26 and still visited the teachers once a week. Homie could not move on. You know what? I don’t want to know Prussia’s status in this game, that’s what it is in my head now. The school has a restraining order he is legally not allowed within 100 ft. 

why is he built like that he looks so sickly. I’m not sure how he even got in the tree with those cooked spaghetti noodle arms.

Fave part about this screenshot is I cannot tell if he is drowning him or saving him. Either way Seychelles is in the bg trying to somehow make it about herself. “Omg~ Guys stop it~.”
