I planned on having all the Overwatch Invasion lore compiled way quicker than this, but I burned out on playing the same 3 (really 2, because I finished the Gothenburg one ages ago) missions over and over and over. Who the hell genuinely said these were infinitely replayable. I’m exploding Blizzard HQ with my brain lasers

A few months’ progress since starting… not really working on it Regularly though for the most part but it’s still like uhhggggg let me out of here (golden hell)

Taking a sort of tire-changing approach and working on sections jumping around the circle rather than like consecutively around

Also debating every time I look at it whether it’s worth redoing at least the first petal from before I’d really refined the process. Idk if it would like ruin the stabilizer though :/

literally I have not written this much in the span of a couple weeks since like. mid high school. so around 7-8 years ago. what has this show done to me

#it’s not like I haven’t been super into other stuff over the course of that time yet nothing spurred me to write like This #I used to in late middle school / early high school for a fandom I will not mention except. way way more. like I had an unfinished fic over #100k words. and that was just one fic #but. anyway SINCE then nothing’s motivated me to write this much except. well. you know #I think part of it has something to do with the fanbase being so new and active #I rarely get into things that are new enough or popular enough to have much of a fanbase to encourage me to write more / post more #so this is nice #anywayyyy yeah I just finished the second chapter of don’t you want me and both chapters combined are 10k. I am not even halfway done #I’m worried I’m dragging it out way too much and people are gonna get bored #cause the Fun Stuff will really start to go down in chapter 4 #I guess we’ll see. it’s not as popular as my first (oneshot) fic which is a bit disappointing but I suppose inevitable #I’m not feeling that confident about my writing/plot on this piece honestly but. we keep truckin #rambling #oh yeah and for reference. I’ve probably written like 30Kish words worth of stuff in the past two weeks or so

why did my teachers think it was okay to give us like one single weekend to finish all of our midterm projects and study for our tests.

#i am so tired of being cut off when i’m talking #esp when someone doesn’t even care enough to realize i was over halfway through a sentence #and doesn’t ask what i was saying #or when they just make it incredibly obvious they weren’t paying attention or outright don’t care what i’m talking about #even when i’m talking super excitedly #it makes me feel so fucking small and unimportant #like yeah i guess the shit i say doesn’t matter 99% of the time but it matters to ME #but it hurts so bad when i get cut off only for someone else to say stuff entirely unrelated #and to then just like. stream of consciousness ramble every thought that enters their head #like okay. cool. awesome. alright #my mom does that all the time i’ll be telling her something and then i’ll get cut off or she’ll wait til i’m done #to out of nowhere start telling me super in depth life histories of people she hasn’t seen since she was a child. or people i don’t know.#and it’ll always be so in depth about so many people idk OR so fucking vague i get confused as hell #in the typical boomer just needs to talk at someone or hear their own voice way (sorry ily mom)#and i know i can go on for ages about fandom shit that confuses her or she doesn’t know about but #idk. i do not have much else in my life right now. and i only have her and my sibling and very very few friends that aren’t online #and even irl friends i only see a couple times a year each if i’m lucky #i just hate my life lol and i need to stop before i spiral #i have already gone on long enough and will be embarrassed when i come back to delete this because honestly who gives a shit #i need to get over myself #to be deleted #personal

Next page of Knightfall in Dream Land is most likely going to be posted this Saturday or Sunday!

I have this next page about a third of the way done right now and I’m going to try and get it finished by this weekend. The page following this one might take me a little longer than usual to finish because I’m working on some stuff for grad school and am also about to be out of town for some work trips, so I apologize in advance if I end up taking a while to post it. I don’t bring my tablet with me when I go on trips and I won’t have any time to draw anyway so I probably won’t start working on it until after I get back. I do plan to try and get another chapter of the fanfiction version of the comic posted soon though. Since I’ll have my laptop with me while I’m away I’m planning to do a little writing, so look out for the next chapter coming in the next few weeks. Stayed up until 1:00am to finish the last two hours of Thud!

You’d think I’d be prepared after seven books for Vimes to do something in the last act that has me on the edge of my seat holding my breath, until against all odds, the universe blinks first and I’m bowled over again by the heights of integrity one brave old terrier from the gutter can rise to. Still, I am surprised every time.

#my heart was BREAKING at this one oh my god that man loves his family so much #Death had a fucking near-Vimes experience YES! YES!!!!#Vimes surviving purely out of love and duty to his son #even bleeding out and battered trapped in a lightless labyrinth #the man refused to lay down and die #I’m not ready for this series to be over #so much has changed and shifted both with the characters and the world it’s amazing looking back where it all started #honestly my current plan is to just go back and reread Guards! Guards! as soon as I’m done to get the full circle picture #who knows if I’ll stop there #what I know is these books are staying with me into the future #and hey I’m not even halfway yet through the full Discworld series lmao I’ve got time left to go #and people seem to love the other ones too #I am SO glad I didn’t leave Discworld after I finished the Death series #all I know is I’m going to miss my boy Sam like nothing else. One of my favorite protagonists of all time #and the Penguin Audio productions have just brought the world into color they’re incredible #just all around absolutely brilliant books god I’m in love with them #discworld #spilling the Tea
