to knowis to be loved and to be known is to b eloved. I want transgender friends who will know me and love me in a way that cis people usually do not
#getting floored by transgendered feelings tonight. I went full femme last night in a way that I haven’t in a long time and it really made#it clear that what I enjoy about looking feminine is the ATTENTION. PEOPLE PAY SO MUCH GODDAMN ATTENTION TO PRETTY WOMEN#I will fully admit that I love getting positive attention for my looks irl. Like I’m not really pretty unless I#put a lot of effort into makeup and clothes so getting compliments on my clothes/appearance is like crack cocaine#which is not healthy. I don’t WANT to care about what I look like#but tbh one of the reasons I enjoyed cosplaying so much is that I got all that attentiob without the requisite feminity. Hahaha hhhhhhh#Last night as I was putting myself together for the charity dinner I felt like I was dressing up a doll. FULL out-of-body barbie vibes#I’m so disconnected from feminine feelings right now. But at the same time I had so much fun being pretty and getting compliments#idk. I don’t even know how to feel. I’m so goddamned tired of all this#if I could beam a perfect understanding of gender fluidity into the brains of everyone I meet I would have come out YEARS ago#I just don’t want to be alienated any more than I already am from the people around me#living in the us south means suffering alone in transness I guess.#I don’t want to be the first genderfluid/nonbinary person EVERYONE has ever met. I don’r want to have to justify my existence#but this cannot go on. but I’m afraid of T. I don’t want to go bald 😭#and I still want to wear dresses from time to time#maybe the solution is becoming a lolita lifestyler. dress myself up as a doll every day for the fucking compliments#leave no room for dissatisfaction with feminity. FUCK#I NEED A GENDER THERAPIST WORSE THAN ANYTHING#BUT IT’S THE SOUTH AND THE NEAREST ONE TO ME IS OVER AN HOUR AWAY#AND she’s out of network. FUCK#anyway I watched an episode of the new f*llout show and it was pretty good 😊#AND I’m playing st*rdew valley again on the new update and the update IS SO FUN#<-lil media update to lighten up this post.#this post was typed up not from a place of despair but from a place filled with the same emotions that a dog chasingits owntail experiences#I’m doing well enough mentally that I can deal with my transgender feelings again yknow. maslows heirarchy of needs with m#with transgender feelings at the top#weekend whining

Thought I’d get out for the night, so I’ve been sitting in this gaming lounge for the last hour and it’s… meh. Ordered an overpriced milkshake, just kind of hanging out. Honestly, I’d rather play games by myself at home than deal with whatever’s going on here. Well… it was worth a shot 😒
#haha this sucks#it’s hot and boring and I’m annoyed#only came bc my therapist has been bugging me to get out and try to be social#but… like… I’m a hater. I’m about to hate on some people… even if I wanted to be social there’s no one here I would ever talk to#the dudes that hang out at places like this are not the kind of people I make small talk with#tbf talking to dudes irl is majorly unappealing to me#what do we talk about? their favorite marvel character? guns? vin diesel? I dunno. I’m lost.#also ordered a milkshake that took them 30 minutes to make which I mean I’m amenable I’m cool and relaxed#but it’s literally just me getting anything to eat or drink back here the whole time so I dunno 🤷🏻♂️#dropped my brother off here so he could play in a Smash Bros tournament so it’s not a total waste#god I’m whiny#I need to just leave#I’m sure I could have had a better time but tbh I’m tired and already had a negative outlook on this before even showing up#video game lounge sounds cool but it’s like $10 an hour#and I dunno I have no desire to spend cash to play some new game I’m unfamiliar with in public or whatever#now if it was an arcade I would be so psyched. but no it’s like rent an Xbox for an hour kind of deal#just gonna go home get fucked up and play fallout and I’ll be so fucking content l#writing all this down so I can remember what to whine about in therapy next week#ok yeah this was doomed to not be my style. that’s fair. maybe look for a D&D group in the area or something instead#okay lemme stop complaining and just leave#I love you. I’m bored. and I’m dying. and I’m bored.#goodbye forever#text

Dear gawd did today prove just how much my entire family (extended included) needs therapy. For my cousin to be susceptible to a religious cult in the fucking first place creates a miles long argument for that. But, also Jesus Christ none of my grandparents children are okay.
My mother is a chronic people pleaser and enabler with an arrestedly developed man child of a husband all three of her kids have depression, anxiety and have been in very very unhealthy relationships for most of their lives.
My uncle D is a two time divorcee who’s last relationship was with an abusive narcissist ( yes, I know not all narcissists are abusers but this one fucking was. I am not trying to demonize narcissists who are healthy and actively managing their mental illness); now both of his kids are estranged from him and one is in a fucking cult.
My other uncle is miserably married to a woman who treats him like trash and both constantly dunk on their neurodivergent son while treating their youngest daughter like a perfect Angel and spoil her to death and their whole family is also in a Christian congregation that is also very cultish.
Every single one of them have a horrible relationship with my grandmother and grandfather that is essentially based on ignoring all the trauma ever done to them and just trying to keep the peace as much as possible. My grandmother is unfortunately a bit of a narcissist and my grandfather is emotionally stunted and a victim of both my grandmother and his ex wife’s emotional abuse.
And dear fucking Christ trying to figure out with my grandmother how to help my cousin fucking required me unpacking the years of generational trauma that has cumulated in my cousin being indoctrinated in to Young Life.
Like the literal only way to get this girl out is Scott Pilgrim style fighting seven evil generations of bullshit 🤦🏽♀️. Idk how I’m going to get all of their asses into therapy but my god is this going to be a Herculean feat.
#i am literally screaming#I am the only one in the entire family who is in therapy or has been to therapy of their own volition#why the fuck are people like this?!?#how do y’all walk around +40 years never thinking anything is wrong with you?!?#like y’all are all so deeply troubled what the actual fuck#I am only venting right now I know there is a bunch of reasons why#and I am in actuality empathetic towards their situations#I’m just so tired of having to be the one to play therapist to my entire family#I have been literally begging them for the last 5+ years to get into therapy#but only now they are finally acknowledging hey something might be wrong!!#like every single time I said something was wrong they would unintentionally try to gaslight me into thinking that I was blowing things out#of proportions#well now we are here and suddenly everything I’ve been saying isn’t so preposterous anymore now is it?#dear god my therapist is gonna have so much to unpack with me tomorrow 😬

on one hand the school year is halfway over on the other hand my grades are important but also not great and I’m only halfway through the year
#aughggggg#and everyone is trying to scare me out of doing what I want#two ppl have expressed concerns that I won’t be able to survive by myself#those ppl being my therapist and my mom. They should know me well enough to be right but they don’t know me that well so#idk I’m annoyed and tired and it’s just a lot and I don’t have a lot of confidence#I just want someone to hug me and say I’m doing great and that everything will be fine#and that I can do this and that I’m not helpless and that I’m strong and that they’re proud of me and that I’ve worked hard#but maybe the fact that no one has told me all that is a sign that none of it is true.#oh well! I’m gonna go do laundry and play animal crossing now :P

good boy.
art donaldson x reader (wc: 2.9k)
summary: as Art’s personal physical therapist, it’s your job to fix what Tashi has torn apart, by whatever means necessary. or in which Art just needs some TLC
warnings: 18+ smut, it could be worse tbh, mentions of disordered eating
author’s note: i’m back ig?? im out of uni for the summer and challengers has me in a chokehold. Art Donaldson the man that you are
————————————————————————
You're standing just within earshot of the doorway, passing a sanitary wipe over one of the tables in the athlete treatment room when you hear the door abruptly open. Tashi storms in with a purpose and Art trails meekly behind her. Even if you had been clueless to how the match had gone rather than on the sidelines beside Tashi not even twenty minutes ago, you could have guessed by the hard line of her mouth that Art was in for it. Not that her displeased scowl was much different from her usual scowl, but you'd been around long enough to know the difference.
She stops abruptly, and Art heels obediently as Tashi turns around to face him. "I need you to tell me when you're going to fucking get it together so that I can stop wasting my time."
Weary and sweat soaked, Art just stares at her with that pitiful look on his face and says nothing in reply. His blue eyes solemnly take in her harsh disappointment as though beyond used to it. At this point it's not all that foreign to you either.
"You may as well be fucking asleep out there," she snaps.
This time his mouth opens. "I- I'm just tired-" he begins, although there's hardly any argue to his voice at all.
"No, I'm tired, Art," Tashi interjects. "Do you have any idea how much fucking work I've put into getting you back onto the court this past year?! I've done everything! The least you could do go out there and try to act like I've done anything for you at all!"
Art swallows, the slight frown on his face deepening. "I am. I just- I don't-"
Before he can even finish his sentence. The open palm of Tashi's hand connects with his cheek as she pops the left side of his face. Art closes his mouth. You pretend to concentrate on wiping down the table. It's not the first time you've witnessed one of these conversations but it still feels private, like you shouldn't be here. You keep wiping the table.
Understanding that anything else he says is only going to make Tashi angrier, Art resigns to once again watching her in silence. His blue eyes are sad. The usually fair skin of his cheek is tinted pink where she popped him. Although it wasn't very hard, you're sure it still hurt him all the same.
"Quit wasting my time," is all she says before she finally turns and leaves, walking right past you and out the other door. You hold your breath as she passes you. Art watches her go but makes no move to follow. You release an audible sigh. It's been a frustrating day for everyone. As Art's personal trainer, physical therapist, and close friend, you felt every loss, every ache and pain, every bad play. And there seemed to be a lot of those lately.
Art is still standing there, watching the closed door that Tashi left though.
Not knowing how to break the silence, you finally pat the freshly sanitized treatment table. "C'mon," you call gently, as though beckoning to a wounded dog.
It takes a moment for him to budge, but eventually he does, his disheartened spirit apparent in the way he walks over. Used to the usual routine, he tugs his damp shirt off over his head as he takes a seat, the lean muscles of his torso flexing as he does so. You allow yourself to ogle at him, only for a brief moment before stepping in between the bracket of his knees. Gently, you cradle his chin, tipping his head back to look up at you as your thumb smooths over the redness of his cheek. His blue eyes blink up at you, sad and dog-like.
"It wasn't terrible," you reassure him. "You had surgery six months ago. You're still getting your feet back underneath you. Most people wouldn't have come back." You're right. The still-pink scars on his shoulder are still fresh on your mind. The stitches weren't even out before Tashi had him in physical therapy. Even though his medical team had released him, it was still a bit early to start doing rehab so soon after surgery, Art's comfort being your biggest concern. But when Tashi wants something, she gets it.
Wordlessly, Art sighs, the weight of his head settling into your palm as he finally lets go of the tension he'd been carrying. It was always like this. You fixing what Tashi had torn apart. You understood where Tashi was coming from. Art needed a firm voice in his training, and you had a lot of respect for the way she put her foot down and never let up, not even once. But there was only so many times you could kick a dog while he was down.
So if Art needed someone to coddle him, you would coddle him.
He trusts you. He needs you, is what Tashi had told you when she asked you to stay on as his trainer full time. The three of you had been in the same year at Stanford all those years ago, Tashi and Art on the tennis team and you helping out as a student trainer as part of a class requirement. Three peas in a pod, the trio of you were. Of course then they both graduated, leaving you to finish up your schooling, meanwhile Art set off to go pro.
A few years later, once Tashi officially took on the position as Art's coach, she began building his team, and that's where you came in. You were hesitant at first.
'I already lost to you once, Tashi. I won't come in second to you again.'
She had paused on the other end of the line. Back in your Stanford days, it was obvious to anyone with eyes that you were head over heels in love with the blonde tennis player. But loving Art was like accepting the participation ribbon for a game you knew you weren't going to win in the first place. It was like standing next to the podium, just lucky enough to be included in the picture while Tashi and tennis took first and second place. And so you let him go.
'I'm not asking you to. This is different.'
Your hand slips from his face, and he forces his eyes open.
“Have you eaten?" you ask, stepping away in order to put some distance between the two of you and look for the granola bars that you keep especially for him. The gels were good sources of quick fuel in between sets, but they were hardly enough to even begin to make up for the calories he burned while playing.
Slowly, Art shakes his head, but he makes no move to take the snack from your hand when you offer it to him. Ever since his injury, nutrition became all the more important. So much to the point that every single thing that he consumed was mapped out to the exact calorie. Although he would never admit it, any sort of change in this routine made him incredibly anxious. Some days it was better not to cause him the anxiety than to force him.
Today, you insistently hold out the bar until he begrudgingly takes it from your hand. You don't move until you've seen him tear open the package and take a bite.
"Were you still feeling tight?" you ask as you walk around the table, stopping at the slouch of his turned back. You reach out to grasp at the joint of his neck and shoulder, your thumb smoothing over the kinesiology tape that's peeling away at the base of his neck.
He half turns his head to glance back at you. "You watched the match. You tell me."
His response is meant to be snippy, but it comes out more defeated than anything. To be fair, you've been his trainer long enough to know that if something was bothering him physically, you would have picked up on it.
"I want to hear it from you."
"I felt fine."
Your left hand follows suit on the other side of his neck, and you use both of your thumbs to apply pressure to what you assume will be a tense spot along the upper part of his traps. Predictably, Art groans at the attention. The muscles of his back contract as he fights the urge to shake you off. Relaxing the muscle hurts as much as it feels good. Besides his obvious discomfort, the rest of his body has gone lax under your touch. His shoulders have dropped at least an inch, and his chin has fallen to rest against his chest.
"Finish your granola bar," you reprimand him, your firm fingers working across his back until you find another spot that nearly has him jerking away. He releases a whine but obediently takes another bite of the bar. This time he finishes it before you have to remind him again.
You spend a few more minutes torturing him before you're satisfied that a majority of the tension has left his shoulders.
"Okay, good boy," you murmur, leaning forward so that your chest is close enough to brush against his back. One of your hands trails up to squeeze the back of his neck reassuringly.
You're close enough to hear him swallow at the name. The skin on the nape of his neck shivers despite how hot he still is from the match.
"Was I?" he asks timidly. "Good today?"
'I can be his coach. Or I can be the person he cries to after a bad day. But I can't be both. That's why he needs you."
Without removing your hand from his neck, you walk around the table so you're standing in front of him. Art widens the spread of his legs so that you can stand between them. His chin is still pressed to his chest, blue eyes focused on the ground.
"Art," is all you say, shifting your grip on his neck to tug lightly at his golden blonde hair. At your voice, he lifts his head just enough to look up at you through the pale wisps of his eyelashes. The irises of his blue eyes shine are wet with uncertainty.
Your fingers loosen their grip to allow your nails to scratch at his scalp. "You're good, Art. You'll always be good."
Art twists his head to nuzzle his cheek along the inside of your outstretched arm. His lips kiss the crook of your elbow. He swallows again. "Even if I don't play tennis?"
You can tell the question's been bothering him, eating at his nerves, and messing up his game. You know him well enough to know that retirement isn't what he wants, not really. At least not right now. What he wants is the reassurance that it's going to be okay if he can't swing the comeback.
"Look at me."
He lingers a moment longer with his lips pressed lovingly against your skin before he reluctantly shifts his gaze up to you. His look is anticipatory but reserved, as if to preemptively conceal his disappointment should you choose to crush his heart with your answer.
His fear is understandable. Art's relationship with Tashi has always been entirely built off of his tennis career. By being the driving force behind his success, Tashi has vicariously lived out the life she would have had had her injury never happened. Without tennis, Art has nothing left to offer her. He knows that if he gives up tennis, he loses Tashi.
Your relationship with Art was a little less conditional. Hell, you'd been in love with him since the first time you'd laid eyes on him at Stanford. You can still picture him standing there on the court, barely nineteen, scrawny, nervous smile, backwards cap over his strawberry blonde hair. Before he was the Art Donaldson. But when Tashi had stepped into the picture, you figured that was where your fairytale ended.
"I don't love you because of tennis. I love you because you're kind, and thoughtful, and you're passionate about what you do." You smile a bit before adding, "And you're my good boy."
The name turns him bashful again, and he's quick to turn and hide his smiling face against your arm, only the flushed tips of his ears visible. "[Y/n]," he mumbles, likely meaning to be threatening, but it doesn't come out that way.
Art Donaldson lived to be praised.
You laugh, pulling him closer so that his face is held against your chest. The hand that you don't have threaded through his hair trails up the muscle of his defined quad. "You're my good boy. Aren't you, baby?"
Art whines, squirming when your hand reaches the apex of his thigh and hovers over the forming bugle of his shorts. He's not quite there yet, his dick only half chubbed up in interest, but given the day that he's had, you won't make him wait.
"Please?" he mumbles, his face still buried into your collarbone, as if attempting to curling into you, like a small child needing their parent to hold them for comfort.
You rake your nails lightly up the inside of his thigh. "What, baby?"
Not only did Art liked to be praised, but he was masochist even on his worst days.
"Want you to touch me," he mumbles, his voice muffled by your shirt. "Please."
Your hand still scratching through his hair, you press a kiss to the side of his head, unable to suppress your smile at his timid politeness and how it never seems to fail him. The only time he ever resembled anything remotely voracious was on the court.
Palm finding his tented shorts, you cup him through the fabric. Art responds immediately to your touch, his hips shifting further into your grasp. You continue to pet him through his shorts, appreciating the way you can feel him actively responding to your touch.
His nails dig into the padding of the treatment table when you give his now fully hard dick a less than sympathetic squeeze. His breath is hot as he pants against your collarbone, alternating between laving open mouthed kisses to your skin and whining when you pause fondling him just to feel his hips rut up into your palm.
Art was so in control on the tennis court, that often after a match, putting the control into someone else's hands was just what he needed.
When his hips start to stutter, you ease up but continue to stroke him through his shorts. The front of his shorts are damp with the musk of residual sweat and precum.
His breath is shallow—anticipatory.
"Gunna come?" you ask softly, speaking into the blonde mess of his hair, cradling him. He right there, you can tell by the lackluster buck of his hips, his building fatigue, and the change in his breathing.
"Can I? —Please?" Art asks breathily. He hiccups out the last part, his voice catching.
"You know you don't have to ask."
There's a brief pause, as if coming to the realization, before he meekly murmurs, "I know.
It should be sad really, his unwavering obedience, but there are two sides to Art, two polar extremes. On the court, every match, every set, every debilitating second is up to him. No one else can help him out there, and up until about a year ago, he played like it. That was the side of Art Donaldson that Tashi wanted. After the match is a different story. In private, Art needed someone to do the thinking for him, to pull him into a reality where he could believe that it didn't matter whether he won or lost. Tashi had not the sympathy nor the patience for that kind of fragility.
Art comes with a brief cry into your chest, his body arching into yours. Your hand palms at his pulsing dick until he's oversensitive and pulling away. When you relent, the front of his shorts are sticky and wet.
Finally, Art lifts his face from the safety of your chest. His blue eyes are glossed over, but it's an improvement from the detached look they held ten minutes ago. His cheeks are flushed, a mixture of his own embarrassment and satisfaction.
You can't help the soft smile that creeps onto your face at the look of him, and immediately Art is abashedly trying to hide his face again, his own smile starting to appear. Before he can, you bring your hands back up to cradle his face, thumbs wiping away the wetness from under his eyes. This time he lets you.
His eyes study your face for a second, admiring you, appreciating the love he has for you.
“I don’t want to play tennis anymore.”
You can’t tell if it’s more of a statement or a confession. Either way, you know he’s telling you the absolute truth.
“Okay,” you reply softly, not hint of judgement in your voice. Maybe some disappointment, but that was understandable.
Retirement would be a kindness. Art would finally put back on some healthy weight, start smiling again, put on a real, actual smile. You could already see it, a nice house for the two of you to settle down in, with a picket fence and a dog in the backyard, the kind of things the two of you would have never had time for on tour.
Tennis had brought the two of you together, but it wouldn’t end you.

Hello, I love your writing! The isekai fics are so fun, Vil's was my favorite! Can I request the twst boys (+ staff if you have inspiration for it) comforting a reader who just breaks down in tears after the seventh overblot is resolved because they haven't had much support and time to process being in a new world away from everything they've ever known, were basically told to play therapist by Crowley, and have had their life and their friends lives at risk. Lots of angst but mostly comfort in the end! Thank you if you write this!
7th Overblot Aftermath
Characters: All NRC + Staff
hi! and thank you so much 🫶 vil was the first one I wrote I'm glad you liked it. I love this request and I hope you like it <3
The aftermath of Malleus’s overblot felt surreal. The sky had cleared, but the air was still heavy with the weight of what had just happened. It was over. Finally over. You had seen seven overblots now, each one pushing you and your friends to the edge, forcing you to confront darkness that shouldn’t have existed in people you had come to care for.
But this one had felt different. Maybe it was because of the sheer power Malleus wielded, or maybe it was because of how fragile the world around you had seemed as you fought to bring him back. You had nearly lost him—nearly lost everyone. And you were so, so tired.
Your knees gave out, hitting the ground with a soft thud. You stared at the grass beneath you, eyes blurring with unshed tears. Everyone was celebrating the victory, but all you could think about was the sheer exhaustion gnawing at your bones, the burden of playing mediator, therapist, and survivor all at once. You hadn’t signed up for this. You had been thrown into this world without warning, away from everything you had ever known, and you hadn’t had a moment to breathe since.
“I’m so tired…” you whispered, the words slipping out before you could stop them.
And then it all came crashing down. The walls you had so carefully built around yourself crumbled, and before you knew it, tears were streaming down your face. Quiet at first, but then the sobs came harder, your shoulders shaking as you finally let yourself break.
You barely registered footsteps approaching until a pair of hands rested gently on your shoulders.
Ace Trappola
"Hey, hey," Ace’s voice broke the silence, softer than you’d ever heard it before. “What’s wrong? You’re... crying.”
You hiccuped, trying to suppress the sobs that wouldn’t stop coming. Ace was never one for emotional moments—at least, not the serious kind. He usually joked his way out of anything too heavy, but right now, he seemed out of his depth.
“C’mon, don’t cry,” he mumbled, his voice awkward but concerned. “We’ve been through worse, right? I mean, we beat Malleus of all people. If we can get through that, we can get through anything.”
He crouched beside you, his hand patting your shoulder in an attempt to be comforting, though he was clearly fumbling. “Just… talk to us, okay? We’re here. You don’t have to keep everything inside.”
You shook your head, not trusting your voice, but the tears kept coming. Ace sighed, running a hand through his hair, clearly unsure of what else to say, but he stayed close, his presence enough to remind you that you weren’t alone.
Deuce Spade
Deuce knelt down beside you, his expression full of concern. His hand hovered over your back, unsure whether to touch you, as if he was afraid of making things worse. He eventually settled on patting your back gently, his voice unsteady but earnest.
“It’s okay,” Deuce whispered, his usual tough demeanor nowhere to be found. “It’s gonna be okay. We’re all here for you. I—I didn’t realize how much you’ve been going through.”
His face was a mix of worry and guilt, as if he felt bad for not noticing sooner. “You don’t have to do everything on your own anymore. You’ve been looking out for us this whole time, and I… I didn’t see how much that’s been hurting you.”
You couldn’t respond, your throat tight with emotion. Deuce, seeing your tears still falling, gently shifted closer, offering the only comfort he knew how: his presence. “We’re friends, right? And friends help each other. So… let us help you, okay?”
Riddle Rosehearts
Riddle appeared beside you, his normally rigid posture softer now. He knelt down, placing a hand on your arm, his touch surprisingly tentative. He looked at you for a moment, eyes filled with unspoken regret before he spoke.
“I should have seen how much you’ve been carrying,” Riddle began, his voice uncharacteristically gentle. “You’ve been through so much—more than any of us realized. I’m sorry I didn’t notice sooner.”
His words were measured, careful, as if he was trying not to overwhelm you. “I’ve been so focused on maintaining order, on fixing things after my own mistakes, that I failed to recognize how much weight you’ve been holding on your own.”
He sighed softly, guilt clear in his voice. “You’ve been our support through everything, but you’ve had no one to lean on yourself. That’s not fair to you, and it’s not something you should have had to do alone.”
Riddle stayed close, his hand still resting on your arm, offering comfort in the only way he knew how—through quiet sincerity.
Trey Clover
Trey crouched down beside you, his presence calm and steady, like always. He didn’t say anything at first, just rested a hand gently on your shoulder, waiting for your sobs to slow. He wasn’t one for grand gestures or overly emotional words, but he didn’t need them. His quiet support spoke volumes.
“You’ve been doing a lot for everyone,” Trey said softly, his voice low and warm. “More than anyone should have to. It’s okay to feel overwhelmed.”
He offered you a tissue, waiting patiently as you wiped your face, though the tears kept coming. Trey’s hand stayed on your shoulder, a grounding weight.
“You don’t have to keep everything bottled up,” he continued, his tone gentle. “We’re all in this together, you know? If you need a break, if you need someone to listen… we’re here. I’m here.”
There was no judgment in his voice, no impatience, just the quiet assurance that he’d be there for you whenever you needed.
Cater Diamond
Cater slid down beside you, his usual carefree smile nowhere in sight. Instead, his eyes were soft with concern as he pulled out a tissue and handed it to you.
“Y’know, it’s okay to break down sometimes,” Cater said quietly, watching as you wiped your face. His voice was unusually subdued, and for once, there was no joking, no lightheartedness to deflect from the situation.
“We’ve all been through a lot,” he continued, “but I think you’ve been carrying more than the rest of us. Crowley’s been dumping all this stuff on you, expecting you to handle everything, but you shouldn’t have to. Not alone.”
Cater leaned back slightly, his expression thoughtful. “You’ve been the glue holding us together. But who’s been holding you together, huh?”
You let out a shaky breath, trying to answer, but the tears just kept coming. Cater didn’t push. He just sat beside you, his presence steady, offering you the space to cry without judgment.
“It’s okay to let it out,” he said, his voice soft. “We’ve got you now.”
Leona Kingscholar
Leona crouched down next to you, his green eyes narrowing as he took in the sight of your trembling form. He let out an exasperated sigh, as if annoyed by the situation—not by you, but by everything you’d been forced to endure.
“Ugh, this is exactly why I hate people like Crowley,” he muttered, rubbing the back of his neck. “Always dumping stuff on others and never dealin’ with the mess themselves.”
He placed a heavy, warm hand on your back, his grip firm but comforting. “Listen, you ain’t weak for feelin’ like this. You’ve done more than enough, and I don’t blame you for breakin’ down. Hell, anyone else would’ve lost it way before you did.”
Leona’s tone softened slightly, his voice low and steady. “You’re tougher than most of the idiots I know. So, stop thinkin’ you gotta do everything yourself. Just rest already.” He grumbled something under his breath about humans overworking themselves, but stayed close by, a quiet, protective presence.
Ruggie Bucchi
Ruggie hunkered down next to you, his usual cheeky grin replaced by something much softer. He clicked his tongue, shaking his head lightly. “Sheesh, you really let all that pile up on ya, huh?”
He gave you a light nudge with his elbow, playful but careful. “Look, you don’t gotta carry everything by yourself, ya know? I get it—you’re tough. But even tough people gotta take a break now and then, yeah?”
Ruggie’s eyes gleamed with empathy, his voice taking on a gentle, comforting tone you didn’t hear often from him. “Life’s been a little unfair to ya, huh? I mean, Crowley dumpin’ all that responsibility on you… it’s not right. But you’re here, and you’re still standin’, even after all that.”
He flashed you a small, reassuring smile. “But you don’t gotta stand alone. You’ve got us now. Lemme know if you need a break—I’ll hustle for the both of us.” Ruggie winked, his familiar mischievousness flickering back into his expression, but the concern in his eyes remained genuine.
Jack Howl
Jack’s ears twitched as he knelt down beside you, his tail swaying slowly with a sense of unease. He wasn’t great with words, but the sight of you breaking down hit him harder than he expected. “Hey,” he began softly, his voice gruff but sincere. “You’ve been through a lot, haven’t you?”
His hand hovered awkwardly for a second before settling firmly on your shoulder. Jack wasn’t sure how to help, but he wanted to—more than anything. “I know you’ve been strong… probably stronger than anyone should have to be. But it’s okay to let it out.”
He shifted slightly, trying to find the right words. “I… I know how it feels to be away from everything familiar. To feel like you don’t have anyone to lean on. But that’s not true. You’ve got me. You’ve got all of us.”
His grip on your shoulder tightened briefly, like he was silently reassuring you of his support. “You don’t have to face all of this alone. We’re here for you. And I’m not gonna let anything happen to you—or anyone else.”
Azul Ashengrotto
Azul approached you cautiously, his usual calm and collected demeanor faltering as he saw you crumbling under the weight of everything. His steps were slow, calculated, but there was an unusual tightness in his chest. He knelt down beside you, his expression torn between concern and his usual polished facade.
“You’ve… been carrying quite the burden, haven’t you?” he asked softly, though there was a certain edge to his voice, almost as if he was angry—at the world, at Crowley, at everything that had led to this moment.
His hand hovered over your shoulder for a moment before he rested it gently, almost hesitantly. “I won’t lie to you,” he continued, his voice quieter now. “I’ve always admired how capable you are. But no one should be expected to handle what you have. Crowley’s negligence… it’s unacceptable.”
Azul glanced away briefly, his sharp gaze softening. “But you’re not alone anymore. You have us. You have me. And I promise, I won’t let anyone take advantage of you again—not without consequence.”
There was a sincerity in his words that Azul rarely revealed, a vulnerability hidden beneath his usual polished exterior. “You don’t have to keep being strong on your own. Allow yourself to lean on someone else for once.”
Jade Leech
Jade knelt gracefully beside you, his usual serene smile gone, replaced with a look of quiet concern. His movements were slow, deliberate, as though he was gauging how best to approach the situation. “My, you’ve been holding this all in for quite some time, haven’t you?” he asked, his voice as smooth as ever, but with an underlying warmth that was rare for him.
He placed a gentle hand on your shoulder, his fingers light but reassuring. “You’ve done more than anyone could ask of you. It’s no surprise that you feel overwhelmed.”
Jade’s gaze flickered over your trembling form, his mismatched eyes studying you carefully. “It’s a great deal of responsibility to bear, especially in a world so far from your own. But… you’re not alone.”
There was a softness in his tone that you didn’t expect, his usual composed demeanor shifting. “You’ve been strong for everyone else. Now, allow yourself to rest. Let us take care of things for a while. You’ve certainly earned it.”
He smiled gently, his hand still resting on your shoulder, steady and reliable. “And do not worry. Should anyone try to take advantage of your kindness again, they will have me to deal with.”
Floyd Leech
Floyd approached you in his typical loose, carefree stride, but when he saw the state you were in, his usual playful grin vanished. His steps quickened, and before you knew it, he was crouched down right in front of you, his mismatched eyes widening in genuine concern. “Whoa, hey, hey! What’s this?” he asked, tilting his head as he examined your tear-streaked face.
Without hesitation, he pulled you into a tight hug—so sudden and fierce that it left you breathless for a second. “You can’t cry like this, Shrimpy. It doesn’t suit you,” he said, his voice unusually soft, though still carrying that familiar teasing edge.
Floyd squeezed you tighter, his long arms wrapping around you like a lifeline. “If things are bad, you should’ve just told me. I’d go squeeze the life outta Crowley for you—he deserves it.” He chuckled, but his grip didn’t loosen, like he was afraid you might fall apart if he let go.
He leaned back slightly, still holding you close. “You don’t gotta be strong all the time, you know? You’re my friend, and I don’t let my friends break down alone. So, whenever you feel like this, just come find me. I’ll squeeze the sadness right outta ya.” His words, though playful, carried a weight of sincerity that made your heart ache a little less.
Vil Schoenheit
Vil stood before you, his expression unreadable, though his eyes held a rare softness. “You’ve let yourself reach this point of exhaustion,” he sighed, shaking his head slightly. “It’s not your fault, but you shouldn’t have been forced to carry this burden alone.”
He knelt beside you, his touch gentle but firm as he took your hand. “You’ve been strong for so long, but even the strongest need time to recuperate. Don’t mistake vulnerability for weakness. It takes great strength to admit you need help.”
Vil brushed a stray tear from your cheek, his voice dropping to a softer tone. “You’ve given so much of yourself, but now, it’s time to prioritize your own well-being. I won’t let you neglect yourself any longer. Remember, even a diamond can crack if too much pressure is applied.”
Rook Hunt
Rook’s eyes sparkled with emotion as he knelt gracefully beside you, his usual exuberance tempered by an uncharacteristic stillness. “Ah, mon ami, you have been carrying such a heavy heart all this time,” he whispered, his voice a melodic lilt.
He placed a hand on your shoulder, his touch light, almost reverent. “To be in a world so foreign, surrounded by danger, yet still you’ve stood tall… such beauty in your strength. But even the most resilient soul must rest.”
Rook smiled warmly, leaning closer as if to share a secret. “Let us lift this burden from your shoulders, together. You are not alone. I, too, am by your side, always watching, always ready to catch you should you stumble.”
Epel Felmier
Epel crouched down next to you, his face tight with concern. He scratched the back of his head awkwardly, not used to comforting others but determined nonetheless. “You shouldn’t have had to go through all this,” he muttered, his country drawl creeping into his voice. “Crowley’s a real piece of work, throwin’ all that on ya.”
He reached out, offering a hand in his own shy way. “You’ve been tougher than most, and I admire that. But that don’t mean you gotta keep it all bottled up. It’s okay to feel this way. We’re all here for ya, and I’m not lettin’ anyone mess with you anymore.”
Epel’s expression softened, his voice gentler now. “You’ve got us, so don’t think you’re alone in this. We’ll face it all together.”
Kalim Al-Asim
Kalim immediately rushed to your side, concern written all over his face. “Oh no! You’ve been carrying all this by yourself? Why didn’t you tell me?” he exclaimed, kneeling down and grabbing your hands with both of his, his usual exuberance tempered by a rare sincerity.
He gave you a bright, reassuring smile. “You’ve been so strong for everyone else, but it’s okay to take a break. You don’t have to do everything alone—you’ve got us! And I promise, from now on, we’re all going to make sure you’re okay too.”
Kalim’s warm eyes sparkled with optimism. “Let’s go celebrate once you feel better! Something fun and happy—just to take your mind off everything. I’ll plan the best party ever, and you can just relax, okay?”
Jamil Viper
Jamil crouched down beside you, his dark eyes watching you carefully, as if assessing your every emotion. He sighed softly, his voice low and calm. “You’ve been under more pressure than anyone should have to deal with, and none of it was your fault.”
He rested a hand on your shoulder, his touch firm and grounding. “You shouldn’t have had to bear all this alone, but you don’t have to anymore. I understand what it’s like to carry more than you should.”
Jamil’s eyes softened, though his expression remained calm and composed. “From now on, you can rely on us. I won’t let things spiral out of control again, and I won’t let Crowley push you to your limits anymore. You deserve to take a step back and breathe.”
Idia Shroud
Idia stood awkwardly at a distance at first, his usual nervous fidgeting even more pronounced as he saw you breaking down. He hesitated before kneeling beside you, keeping his hands to himself. “I, uh… I get it,” he muttered, voice quieter than usual. “Feeling like the world’s too much to handle? Yeah, I’ve been there.”
He shifted uncomfortably but spoke with genuine understanding. “You’ve been through way more than anyone should. And, uh, it’s okay to not be okay. You don’t have to act like everything’s fine all the time.”
Idia’s blue flames flickered a bit brighter as he added, “If you need to… y’know, not deal with everything, I’ve got games and stuff to help you chill out. No judgment. Just… take it easy, okay?”
Ortho Shroud
Ortho hovered closer, his usual upbeat tone shifting to something far more gentle. “You’ve done so much, and I know it’s been really hard on you,” he said softly, his mechanical voice somehow conveying warmth.
He floated down beside you, his small hand resting lightly on your shoulder. “But you’re not alone anymore! You’ve got big brother and me, and we’ll help you through everything. You don’t have to carry all this by yourself.”
Ortho gave you a bright smile, his eyes glowing softly. “Let me help you feel better! We can work together, and you can lean on us whenever you need to.”
Malleus Draconia
Malleus approached you slowly, his imposing presence softened by the genuine concern in his eyes. He knelt gracefully beside you, his voice low and soothing. “You have been through much, more than anyone should bear. It is no wonder you feel as though the weight is too much.”
He extended a hand, his fingers brushing gently against your arm. “You are not alone in this world. I understand what it is to feel isolated, but you have friends, and you have me.”
Malleus’s gaze softened further, his voice almost a whisper. “I am here for you, as are the others. Rest now, and let us share in your burden. No harm shall come to you as long as I stand by your side.”
Lilia Vanrouge
Lilia floated down beside you with a lightness that contrasted the gravity of the situation. His usual playful demeanor faded, replaced by quiet empathy. “Ah, little one,” he murmured, his voice soft and filled with affection. “You’ve been carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.”
He rested a hand gently on your head, giving it a comforting pat. “You’ve done well, more than anyone could have asked of you. But now, it’s time to let go of some of that burden. There’s no shame in needing help.”
Lilia smiled gently, his eyes twinkling with warmth. “You’re not alone, not anymore. We’ll protect you. You can lean on us when you need to.”
Silver
Silver knelt beside you, his calm eyes filled with quiet understanding. “You’ve been strong for a long time,” he said softly, his voice low and soothing. “But you don’t have to be strong all the time.”
He placed a reassuring hand on your shoulder, his touch steady and grounding. “It’s okay to let yourself feel overwhelmed. It doesn’t mean you’re weak—it means you’ve been through too much.”
Silver’s eyes softened as he spoke. “You have friends here, people who care about you. You can rely on us. I’ll be here, watching over you, so you can rest.”
Sebek Zigvolt
Sebek approached you with his usual fervor but hesitated when he saw your tears. His sharp voice softened, though it still carried his typical intensity. “Human! You have been through much, but you must remember—you are not alone in this!”
He stood tall beside you, his green eyes blazing with determination. “You have shown strength, but it is not weak to ask for help! Lord Malleus would never allow you to suffer alone, and neither will I!”
Sebek crossed his arms, standing like a guardian at your side. “You are under the protection of Lord Malleus, and by extension, my protection! No harm will come to you now.”
Crowley
Crowley fluttered over, his usual flamboyant demeanor subdued as he saw your distress. “Ah, my dear prefect,” he began, wringing his hands nervously. “It seems that perhaps I’ve… placed more on your shoulders than I should have.”
He knelt beside you, his expression uncharacteristically somber. “You’ve done so much for this school, more than anyone could have asked of you. And for that, I owe you a great debt.”
Crowley’s voice softened, uncharacteristically sincere. “But now, it’s time for me to take some responsibility. You’ve more than earned your rest. From now on, I’ll make sure you have the support you need.”
Divus Crewel
Crewel knelt beside you, his sharp eyes softened with concern. “You’ve been through hell, pup,” he said, his voice low but firm. “And it’s no surprise that you’re feeling the strain.”
He reached out and adjusted your collar with practiced precision, as if he could fix your emotional state as easily as he could fix your appearance. “You’ve shown remarkable strength, but even the strongest need a break."
Crewel’s voice took on a more gentle tone as he gave your shoulder a reassuring squeeze. “You’re not expected to bear the weight of the world on your own, pup. You’ve more than proven yourself, but now it’s time for you to let others shoulder some of that burden. I won’t allow anyone to exploit your loyalty or determination again.”
He straightened up, his steely demeanor still present but tempered with warmth. “You’ve got me in your corner now. If anyone dares push you to the brink again, they’ll have to deal with me. Understood?”
Mozus Trein
Trein approached slowly, his usual stern expression softened with concern as he adjusted his glasses. “You’ve been under undue stress, haven’t you?” he observed in his deep, calming voice. “No one should be forced to handle such pressure alone.”
He knelt beside you, his demeanor fatherly as he rested a hand on your arm. “This world has not been kind to you, I see that now. But you’ve handled it all with remarkable resilience. However, even the strongest minds and hearts need time to recover.”
Trein sighed deeply, his tone softening further. “I will ensure that you are given that time, without further demands placed on you. You’ve done more than enough.”
Ashton Vargas
Vargas came over with his usual boisterous energy, but seeing you in distress made him pause. His expression softened, and he knelt down beside you. “Hey, hey! What’s all this about, huh?” he said, his voice a bit gentler than usual. “You’ve been holding up the team for too long, I see. That’s a heavy weight, and it’s no wonder you’re feeling tired.”
He placed a strong, reassuring hand on your back. “You’re tougher than you think, but even the toughest need a break sometimes. You’ve done amazing—really! But now, it’s time to rest up and let others carry the load for a bit.”
Vargas smiled warmly, his usual energy tempered with sincerity. “You’ve earned it, champ. We’re not leaving you behind. We’ll get through this together.”
Sam
Sam quietly appeared beside you, his usual playful smile replaced by something softer, more caring. “Well now, looks like you’ve been carryin’ quite the burden, huh?” he said in his deep, smooth voice.
He crouched down next to you, his hand resting on your shoulder with a firm but gentle grip. “You’ve been strong for everyone else, but you can let that go for a bit. No shame in feelin’ overwhelmed.”
Sam’s eyes twinkled kindly, and he gave you a warm smile. “Remember, you’ve got friends, and we’re all here for you. Anytime you need a little pick-me-up, you know where to find me. No more carryin’ this all by yourself, alright?”
Grim
Grim strutted over, his ears twitching as he noticed the tears on your face. “Oi, what’s this?” he huffed, trying to sound nonchalant but clearly concerned. “You’re not supposed to be cryin’. You’re supposed to be tough, like me!”
He hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to handle the situation, before awkwardly patting your arm with his paw. “Uh... stop bein’ all sad, okay? You’ve been through a lot, but you’re still here, right? And that’s ‘cause you’ve got me, the Great Grim! I mean, you’re my henchhuman, so obviously you’re tough enough to handle anything!”
He puffed out his chest, trying to inject some of his usual bravado into the situation. “I’ll take care of things next time! No need to worry. Just... stop cryin’, alright? It’s weird. I’m supposed to be the one gettin’ pampered, not the other way around!”
Despite his tough words, Grim stayed by your side, his tail flicking nervously. “But, y’know, I guess... if you need to cry, that’s fine too. Just don’t tell anyone I said that.”

The reader’s son is 17 yo, so if you don’t feel comfortable reading something self insert having a kid this age, it’s up to you.
Here I’m supposing Daryl is in the beginning of his 40s when they get to Alexandria to make sense the age of his son.
Also, I have no idea how are the laws in the U.S.A. To register your children, so if it’s not possible to register a kid with the name of the father without the father, let’s pretend in this universe it is.
Series Masterlist Part 2
Main Masterlist
It had been days that you were out there with Aaron and Eric, you had found a possible group to invite to Alexandria. While you and Aaron was observing them from afar in the road, Eric was in a nearby city waiting for you.
That group seemed like a good group, they took care of each other and shared. They also had a kid and a baby, it needed to mean something. As a mom, you could clearly identify with their struggles and want to protect every kid you came by, unless it was a psychopath kid that wanted to kill you and your son, then… you had no empathy.
United and righteous people were exactly the kind of people you needed for Alexandria. It seemed as they were hungry and thirsty you had some supplies you could give them to help. Hiding on the trees you could only observe them using binoculars as you needed to remain far from them because of safety. You had never zoomed to observe them this much before, but there was something intriguing you and you didn’t voice it to Aaron yet. He was one of your best friends back in Alexandria, but you had to make sure.
There were a guy, all wearing black. He had a sleeveless black shirt that showed his toned arms, he seemed to be tall and had really broad shoulders and a relatively long hair. He carried a crossbow, and even though he was as tired and week as everyone else, he tried to not let it show. You only knew a person like this, but it had been so long since you last saw him that you thought this was your mind playing games with you. You were so young back then, you changed so much… he probably did too, probably you even crossed paths before the world ended and you didn’t recognized each other. But you had to make sure it wasn’t him so just your mind would relax and you could control your anxiety.
That’s why you were zooming the binoculars to the maximum and focusing solely on him, expecting him to look to a side so you could clearly see his face. He did, and when he did your heart stopped for some milliseconds and you thought all the air was drawn from your lungs. “Holly shit!” Was the only thing you were able to say, so glad now you could openly curse, because there wasn’t any child around.
“What’s it?” Aaron asked curiously and you passed him the binoculars unable to say anything. He looked at it, zooming out and couldn’t see anything extraordinary. “I don’t see anything. What did you see?”
You rested your back on the trunk of the tree that you were both sitting on its branch. You tried to breath in and out, just like your therapist had recommended you when you started to treat you’re anxiety.
“Y/N, what happened?” Aaron asked again turning his attention to you and holding your hand, which you accepted gratefully.
“I… I think my ex is in this group.” Oh my God. You were freaking out! It wasn’t as if you had ended bad, well it depends on the point of view, but seeing him after all this years, after all that happened, after…
“You think?” Aaron asked one more time, if it was your ex why you sounded like you were not completely sure.
“Yes, it was a long time ago. We were barely adults, so we changed a lot, but I’m 98% sure the archer is him.” You said continuing your exercise and taking your canteen with shaking hands to drink some water.
“Oh… let me check him out and see if you have good taste in men.”
“Aaron!” You protested the most silently you could. “Well, you may surprise a little when you see him, he is…”
“… DJ’s father! Holly crap!” He looked at you as if he had seen a ghost as the man looked exactly like the teenager boy he knew back in Alexandria, of course the man was way older than the boy. “Do you have an uterus or a copy machine in your belly?”
“Ok, if even you can see it’s totally him.” You said and you didn’t know if you were relieved or anxious, probably both at the same time.
“Ok, so… is he a good person to take with us?” He had to ask, even though you were good friends, you never talked much about him, it seemed to hurt you a lot, so he never pushed.
“Yes, of course. Don’t think I’d have named my child after him if he wasn’t.” You answered. It wasn’t his fault or yours, you just had to blame people like your parents that thought they were better than everyone else. “It’s just that it has been so long after last time we saw each other, I’m just nervous to meet him again.”
You tried approaching them by letting water and food as a gift for them on the road, but they just rejected everything, they were suspicious, they probably went through a lot of shit. You don’t blame them, you’d react the same if it was you. A heavy storm caught you by surprise, you needed to find shelter and protect yourselves. Once you saw the group entered a barn, you decided to go back to your RV and wait the next day or the storm pass before approaching them more directly this time.
The next morning the weather had improved, so you left again to where they were. At distance you saw two women near to the location of the barn, you approached them and presented yourselves and minutes later both of you were on your knees, hands behind your heads and an angry man in front of you. But before the said angry man could do anything or ask anything, the archer came from the shadows and your name left his lips. “Y/N”
“Daryl.” You replied a smile on your face, you wanted to keep a more straight face don’t be so pathetic about how you were happy to see him there alive, older and hotter, but you couldn’t, because it had always been like that, you’d see him and you wouldn’t be able to control yourself. You’d open the biggest smile at him and would have your heart racing with excitement and anxiety.
“Do you know each other?” The angry man asked Daryl, but you replied. You couldn’t hold your tongue, you were anxious and when it was like that, you’d say even what you weren’t meant to say.
“We dated.” You answered, also you knew that Daryl would die of shyness if he had to say you dated or anything like this. That’s if deep inside him he was still that boy.
The man you came to know the name was Rick Grimes shot you a look that said ‘I wasn’t talking to you.’ and then looked back at Daryl in hopes he would confirm it or not. “Yeah, it’s true.”
“If she’s his ex, she’s no good. We should better don’t believe them.” You saw a ginger man with a big mustache speaking.
“Listen here, Obelix. You better not bad mouth me again or I’ll beat you so hard your mustache is going to end on your ass!” You were normally sweet and polite, but you’d never let anyone judge you, or anyone that you loved, especially this person that doesn’t even know you.
“Definitely related to Daryl.” An asian man said and couldn’t contain a small laugh, even in the state the group was.
Daryl had a smirk on his face and you couldn’t read what it meant. The Rick guy didn’t took it easy on you just because Daryl knew you, he argument people could change and he wasn’t wrong. Most of the time he hold the conversation with Aaron and you were glad about it, Aaron was better at this than you were, even though you could bring a sense of comfort most of the times when you approached women or groups with children, this wasn’t a situation where Aaron actually needed you. Unless they decided to kill both of you or something else, then you’d have to play the last card you could with them and that could only be used with them, because of Daryl. You’d need to use your son to convince them to let you go, and you’d hate to do such thing. Using your son to blackmail someone was never something you’d like to do.
You remembered the day you first had the courage to talk to him, you had always thought he was cute and cool, but you never had the courage. Until a day your “friends” excluded you and you didn’t even got to know why. You were 16 and they were so immature to do such thing, so yeah, it was their loss you thought. That’s what you tried to say and convince yourself you were better without them.
At lunch time having no table to sit, you went straight to his table, that was it, your opportunity to get to know him. “Can I have a sit here?” You asked in front of him.
“ ‘m not the owner of the chair.” He said, eyes on his plate. “But ya won’t want to be seen with me sweetheart.”
“Thanks.” You put your tray on the table and took the chair in front of him. “I’m Y/N.”
“Daryl. We already know each other. We had a subject together. Once.” He remembered! You were ecstatic, of course you’d remember him, you developed a huge crush on him since you had to pair up, but you didn’t expect him to remember you. You didn’t think you were as cool as the other girls to be remembered. “Ya still have time to maintain the integrity of yer reputation and leave.”
“I have no reputation to save, my friends simply decided I’m not cool anymore, so… fuck them, gonna make whatever I want.” He snorted, he never thought he’d live to see you cuss. You never looked like one to do so. “What’s funny?”
“Thought you never cussed.”
“Well, there are a lot of things you don’t know about me Dixon.” You replied and from this time you started to pass more and more time together, starting a strange friendship that was the commonest thing for both of you, but people outside loved to judge.
Most of the time they were discussing, you couldn’t take your eyes off him. It was as if you did, he’d disappear into thin air. In the end Rick sent a group to your RV to confirm if you were telling the truth and threatened killing you if they took too long to comeback. After they came back, Rick agreed to go to Alexandria but they would drive and you should tell them where it was, and then started again another drama.
“How are we supposed to trust you? Maybe you got another group and a radio and you’re going to attack our place. We have children and elders, we can’t risk.” You tried to reason with him, even though you knew you were in a small number and you’d never win this ‘battle’.
“Don’t you trust Daryl?” Rick threw this card. Really?
“How am I supposed to when you didn’t believe me and he did nothing to tell you were wrong and I could be trusted?” He knew you were right, not even for a second you thought Daryl wasn’t the same, but you had a point and even he knew it.
In the end you had no option but give in to their requests. You took them to the nearest city so you could take Eric too and while fighting against walkers he got his ankle hurt. Not longer after you got back to the road and in direction of Alexandria. While going there you tried to make some small talk with them, but most were not very open to it.
“What’s her name?” You asked Daryl that had a beautiful baby in his arms.
“ ‘s Judith.” He answered, he looked at her with such adoration. It was adorable to see such a big and rustic man being so tender with a baby in his arms.
“She’s so pretty.” You always wanted a baby girl, but of course you were more than happy with your baby boy. It was just a silly girl dream to have a daughter so you can play doll with them. “Can I hold her a little? There’s a long time I don’t get to hold a baby.”
Despite the common silent agreement of the group to not trust you just yet, he trusted you and was sure you’d do nothing against his ‘lil ass kicker’. So he let you have her a little in your arms and she continued to sleep peacefully. Carl observed you with the eyes of a hawk, ready to end you if you did anything wrong against his little sister, but you didn’t.
“Is your family with ya?” Daryl drawled by your side while you were mesmerized by little Jude. He wanted to know if your asshole of dad was still around and also your mom, but he couldn’t ask it like this, he didn’t know how your relation with them were after everything, he didn’t want to offend you.
“It’s just me and my son, but he’s not this cute anymore and I no longer can carry him in my arms like that.” You replied, wishing he’d have curiosity about DJ, but also afraid of where this curiosity could take you in this moment.
“What’s his name?” He asked trying to be polite, but deep down it hurt him that you had another lover and had a child, he couldn’t control this, but it was painful anyway.
“DJ.” You simply said, god you didn’t want to reveal at this moment your baby was Daryl Dixon Junior. Before he could ask the name and not the nickname, you threw another question at him. “Did you get any of my letters?”
He was taken aback. You tried to keep contact with him. You tried to reach him out. “Did ya send me letters? I… Ididn’t know. I left with Merle shortly after what happened. Probably old man got them.”
By his surprise you believed he really didn’t know. He never read the letters. He never ignored you or pretended your son didn’t exist. Deep down, you knew he’d never do that, but you never could confirm it, because you never got to see him again. Until now.
A little after Carl took Judith from your arms, you already had enough. He couldn’t let you more than you were supposed to with the baby. While your mind wandered to the past, Daryl’s were a turmoil trying to decipher what could be the name of your son, since you gave no detail.
The day prior he had warned you ‘wear sneakers tomorrow, you asked why and he just repeated what he said before. So you did. There was almost a year since your friendship with Daryl Dixon started and at that moment, he was your best friend. Sometimes he’d stay with you studying in the library or just hanging out around the city. You trusted him.
Next day, you arrived at school and found him next to an old blue truck. “What’s that?”
“A car.” He answered the obvious.
“I know dumbass! But where did you get it?” You asked curiously, he had never gone to school in one.
“I borrowed it from Merle without telling him.” Which means he stole his own brother, at least for some hours. “I’m returning it later, probably won’t even know about it. He’s knocked out in his bedroom.”
“Ok, if he catch us, I’m telling it was all you.” You played with him, but you knew Merle would never catch you, at least not before Daryl arrived at home with it.
“It actually was.” He shrugged. “Also, no way he’d believe a sweet thing like you helped me in any of that.” You instantly blushed, it wasn’t always that Daryl would throw sweet words or compliments at you, so every time you’d not fail and blush. “Did ya wear sneakers?”
“Yep.” You put one foot in front of you to show your sneakers.
“Pink? Really?” He teased you, he knew for sure you’d wear at least one thing pink and you were always wearing sandals or any other more delicate shoes.
“I don’t have many sneakers, so… yeah.” You retracted your foot to stand close to the other again.
As soon as the bell rang you entered the school and went to your classes. In the end of the day, you got together at the parking lot ready to spend your day together. “Where are we going?” You asked curiously.
“Get in the car and you’ll see.” He replied going to the driver’s side.
“Ok, Dar. I’ll let you be all mysterious while I die out of curiosity.” You dramatically entered the truck and took the passenger sit.
You drove for some time and even got outside the city. You knew he was familiarized with the forest, he told you he’d hunt, but you never thought he’d bring you someday near it. “You know I know shit about hunting, don’t you?” You asked while the car stopped close to a small trail.
“Yep, dun worry. I didn’t bring ya here to go hunting. It’s something else, wanna show you a place.” He slightly touched your hand reassuring you and you could swear it sent a delicious tingling sensation all over your body.
He got out of the truck, took a bag in the truck bed and waited for you so you could start the trail. There was 5 minutes you were walking when you tripped and almost fell down, leading to the boy to hold your hand until you arrived at your final destination.
It was a waterfall, a beautiful one, with a small lake. The water was a beautiful green surrounded by big rocks. You got all excited with the sight and gave your biggest smile to him, which made his heart flutter and stole a small smile from him.
You took your sneakers off and both of you sat on a rock where you could put your feet in the cold refreshing water. There was the shadow of a tree that made it bearable to be outside there in the warm weather. You loved how Daryl was relaxed and just enjoying the place and your company, you could talk a lot or talk nothing and it would be perfect for him.
You don’t know what made you do that, but the moment just felt perfect to speak your mind to him, actually speak with your heart. “I like you, Daryl.”
“Yeah, we’re friends of course ya do.” It was obvious if you didn’t you wouldn’t be around.
“No, I like you in the way I’ve been crushing on you for years and just now I have the courage to say, yay…” you said, trying to be a little funny so the moment wouldn’t be so embarrassing, but it would be already too embarrassing if he just rejected you at that moment.
He looked at you impressed and thinking how you could like him for so long if everybody in the school, no, in the damn city thought he was a sore loser and a scumbag. “Are ya sure?” He double checked, just in case.
“I wouldn’t put myself in this embarrassing situation with risk of you rejecting me and losing your friendship if I didn’t.” You turned to look at him and were struck by his deep blue eyes that seemed to see your soul every time you looked into it. “It’s ok if you don’t feel the same, I’ll…”
Before you could finish your apologetic sentence, his lips crashed on yours and his hand held yours one more time, and that was the first of many kisses you’d come to share in the following years.
You woke up startled, the RV came to a stop. You were finally at the gates of Alexandria, you and Aaron got off first and the rest of the group followed you and once the gates were open you could see that at the same time they were cautious they were also impressed with the place. You entered the gate and Deanna came to welcome the new people. Aaron took Eric to the infirmary and before you could excuse yourself and go home take a good bath and spend some quality time with your child, you saw the tall teenager in his 17s running in your direction. You suddenly worried, he would see him. Both of them would see each other. You smiled at your baby boy that wasn’t a baby anymore, and he hugged you tightly even taking you from the ground. He had became so tall in the last years that it was funny to see the difference of his height to his mom’s.
Daryl was frozen in place, when he saw the young man running in your direction it was as if he could see his younger self in the past, but he wasn’t hallucinating or anything like that, because that boy that looked so much like him had also many features from you. The group looked surprised at the boy, probably thinking the same thing Aaron thought when he landed his eyes at Daryl. A million thoughts ran on the hunter’s mind, this kid just could be his… he had too because no way someone could look so much like the other and don’t be blood related, especially being the son of your youth lover.
“How are you baby?” You asked cupping DJ’s face with your hand and checking his face to see if he was healthy and well.
“I’m ok mom, are you good?” He asked back observing you, he had always been such a good observer.
“We need to talk…” you started to say but couldn’t finish because the boy’s eyes landed on Daryl some meters behind looking at both of you.
DJ knew, you told him before how he looked so much like his dad. So he knew when he looked strictly to an older version of him. He put you aside and walked strong steps on Daryl’s direction, you yelled his name but he just ignored you and before you could stop him, he punched his father right on his jaw.
“DJ! No!” You put yourself between both of them.
“No? Mom! He never cared about us and now he just shows here like this? He ignored all the letters you sent and the pictures of me, and…” he bursted the feelings trapped on his chest all those years. He had the perfect speech on his mind, he elaborated it for years just to end his father and make him ashamed of what he did, but now he didn’t even say half of it and the rest stayed stuck in his throat unable to come out as tears accumulated in his blue eyes.
“It’s ok. I probably deserve it.” Daryl said from behind.
“Honey, it’s not like this. We don’t solve anything like this. You don’t know the whole story.” You rested your hands on your son’s shoulders.
“You mean the edited version of how he never cared about us, or looked for us? I know you never told me everything, I’m not stupid. And I also know men are bastards that don’t care about discarding pregnant women!” Shit. Shit. Shit. Things were getting out of control the boy was causing a scene.
“Listen to me, Daryl Dixon Junior! I’m your mother and I’d never name you after your father if he was this kind of bastard!” You firmly told him, there were so many years that you didn’t call him by his whole name that he knew he would be in trouble if he didn’t obey you at that moment. “Now, apologize, go home and wait for me.”
“Fine.” The young man said teeth greeted. “I’m sorry for punching you because you’re an asshole.” With that he turned around and left before you could lecture him one more time in front of everyone.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Daryl asked. Obviously not talking about the past, it was clear to him that you tried in the past.
“I wouldn’t dare use my son to bring you to safety. I know you’d come if I said, and your group… I know this kind of bond, you’re family. I didn’t want to be selfish and make all of you come because I used DJ to convince you. I wanted you to come because you wanted, because you trusted what Aaron and I were offering.”
He couldn’t understand well about it, he wasn’t a father till some minutes ago… even though he wished he was one long before, the kid really had a personality, reminding him a lot about himself and even about Merle. But he could try to understand, to listen to you and if he stopped to think, it didn’t made a difference if you told before or now, he would still have the same feeling of anxiety, excitement and lost, lost for all the years and everything that he lost not being around his son.
“I’m sorry you had to discover like that.” You apologized even though you knew in no way it would be less shocking for him. “We have a lot to talk, the three of us… of course, if you want to.”
“Yeah, we need to talk. I wanna know everything and I wanna know him, if ya allow me and if he wants.” He was quick to answer. God, how could you even give him a choice? He had to do it.
“Great. So… I’m gonna let you finish solving things with Deanna, when you are free, come to my house. It’s the one with the magenta pink doormat.” You give some steps backwards, eyes still on him.
“Pink, hugh…” he knew everything with you needed to have a little of pink and for sure with the end of the world you could not afford pink acessories, at least you’d make sure that one thing in your life was.
“Yes…” you almost murmured. “I’ll see you later.”
“See ya…” he replied. Wanna be added to my tag list? Let me know. (Please tell me if you want to be tagged on everything or just specific series)

Hold me close and don’t let go
Leah Williamson x reader, Lucy Bronze x platonic reader.
Warnings - Angst, Hurt and comfort, Fluff, Mental health struggles
Summary - Reader struggles with depression and Leah is there for them
A/N - Feel free to send in requests! Leah’s acl injury is not a thing in this fic 🫡
———
Depression.
Something that you had struggled with since your late teens, and something that Leah and the rest of the Lionesses were very aware of.
You had your ups and downs, usually you done quite well to tell when a down was about to hit you and you were able to let the necessary people know - Leah, your close friends, the staff at England, and your therapist.
This time, however, was different.
It hit you out of nowhere, drowning you like you had just fallen into a body of water with rocks tied to your ankles. You were exhausted, your body ached, and your mind was a mix between numbness and breathtaking sadness.
Today was the start of the last England camp before the World Cup, and you didn’t want any chance of not being selected so you did your best to cover your black eyes from the night of minimal sleep with makeup and practiced your fake smile.
There was one issue - the girl that knew you best, the girl who could see through you like you were a piece of glass, the girl who was the England captain, the girl who also happened to be your girlfriend. Leah.
You hadn’t seen her in a couple of weeks since you played for Aston Villa while she played for Arsenal. This meant that she hadn’t actually seen you, purely due to you giving excuses of being busy with your team in order to get out of facetiming her. You knew she’d think something was up, especially when she saw you at camp.
———
“Baby!”
Leah shouted with a massive grin on her face after she saw you walk through the doors. You put on a smile, something that you didn’t have to fake too much since you were actually quite happy to see your girlfriend.
“Le.” You said in a more reserved tone, walking over to her and immediately sinking into the comfort of her muscular arms.
Leah could immediately tell something was up with you, with how quiet you were and how exhausted your eyes looked. She pulled you slightly away so she could hold your shoulders and look at you in the eyes.
“What’s wrong?” She asked, she studied your face with her signature frown etched onto her own.
Your smile faltered slightly as Leah studied you, quickly putting it back on. “I’m okay, Le. Tired.” You whispered.
Leah’s face didn’t seem satisfied with your answer, her brow furrowed further and her hands pulled you further into her body.
“You know that’s not true, Y/N/N.” She whispered in response, wanting to keep this conversation between yourselves - for now at least. “Talk to me.” She continued while she walked you both to the corner of the room, away from any looking eyes.
You shook your head. “Leah, just…not now, okay?”
“No. Not okay, you look horrible love.”
You managed to laugh slightly, though it was a mere pathetic puff of air out of your nostrils. “Cheers.”
Leah rolled her eyes before going back to her serious demeanour. “You know what I meant. You’re still my beautiful girl…but you just don’t look you.”
An awkward silence hung in the air before Leah decided to speak again, her left hand resting on your upper arm in a comforting manner.
“You’re having another down, aren’t you?”
Before you could respond you were saved by the bell. Sarina had called you all and it was no coincidence that you hurried over, Leah sighing at the horrible timing.
———
This camp you were roomed with your usual teammate, Lucy Bronze.
Lucy was a good friend of yours, with her slightly mentoring you when you moved up to the senior team. She was also someone that knew you well, but not as well as Leah did.
“Right mate, I’m gonna unpack then head for a shower” Lucy said while you laid down on your bed, spacing out slightly.
When Lucy didn’t get a response from you she turned around to see you staring out of the window.
“Mate?”
You snapped out of your daze, facing Lucy with a small smile. “Yeah, yeah that’s fine.” You nodded, not really knowing what Lucy had said before.
She walked over to you, sitting on the edge of your bed. “Are you alright?” She asked, noticing that there was something off about you.
You nodded. “Yeah, I‘ve just been struggling to sleep recently. Nothing too big.”
Lucy nodded hesitantly before she stood up from your bed and walked back over to her small suitcase.
“Okay…well just make sure to get a decent sleep then. Can’t have you sloppy” Lucy said in a more lighthearted tone, trying to erase the negative cloud that had entered the room.
“Of course Luce, don’t worry. I’ll have an early night.” You reassured her, knowing that tonight was probably going to be another one with minimal sleep.
The next day you somehow woke up more tired than the last. You hadn’t gotten to sleep until 3am, you were up just staring at the dark ceiling while Lucy was fast asleep in the bed next to yours.
You could tell she was concerned with her constant checking up on you but you didn’t think she was concerned enough to do anything, you just kept reassuring her that you were just tired.
Leah also hadn’t relented, your phone pinging with texts that you only gave one word answers to. You missed her, a lot. However, you knew if you fell into her arms one more time you would break down in tears and you couldn’t let that happen on the run up to the World Cup.
That morning after breakfast, Lucy went to find Leah before training started.
“Is Y/N okay?” Lucy asked her with a concerned look in her eyes. You were already out on the pitch with a couple of the girls.
Leah looked up from her boots to see Lucy standing over her. Immediately she sat up straight, the same exact look in her own eyes.
“Honestly, I don’t think so.” She replied with a shake of her head. “Has she been okay with you?” Leah asked Lucy before standing up.
“I mean…she’s not been upset or anything, she just looks very tired. Been spacing out a lot too.”
Leah knew for sure you were struggling, grimacing at the thought of her girlfriend feeling so sad. “Shit.” She whispered.
Lucy looked confused. “Okay mate?”
“Nah, she’s having a down.” Leah replied with a sad look on her face, Lucy immediately getting the severity of the situation.
After their little conversation, Leah and Lucy both ran outside to the training pitch. You were none the wiser on what the two had just discussed, however you now felt two very concerned eyes on you throughout training.
Everyone could tell something was off with you. You were having a hard time in training, your passes were sloppy, and you didn’t look like you were enjoying yourself at all.
———
Your sloppy training and obvious low mood went on for a couple of days. Leah and Lucy were getting more and more concerned about you.
After seeing your performance over the week Leah knew that she was going to have to speak to Sarina about this, both as your girlfriend and as the captain. She knew you’d be pissed but she also hoped you would understand where she was coming from.
“Y/N? Could we have a quick chat?”
You looked up from your dinner to see Sarina standing next to your table with a warm smile on your face. You nodded before standing up, Leah promising to tidy up your things for you while you were away.
Sarina walked you to her small office and invited you to sit down with a smile.
“So, how are you feeling?” She asked you after you both got settled.
You nodded, putting that fake smile back on your face. You were confused about what was happening but you weren’t going to question your manager.
“I’m feeling good, eager to get out there.”
Sarina’s smile turned into a more sympathetic smile as she heard your answer. “Okay, let me ask you a different question. How have you been feeling…mentally?”
Your face went pale and your mouth dry as you heard her. “Sorry?” You whispered out after a few moments of silence.
She sighed. “People have some concerns.”
You shook your head, not believing this was happening.
“Y/N, the whole team are here for you. You need to talk to someone if you’re struggling, you know this.” She continued.
A tear ran down your face as you realised there was no getting out of this. “I’m sorry.” You whispered in a broken voice.
Sarina handed you a box of tissues before looking at you with sympathetic eyes. “I think it’s best if we take you out of the starting line up for now, just until you get that mind of yours sorted.”
You nodded, wanting nothing more than to just get out of this room. Eventually, Sarina let you leave after coming up with a game plan on how to get you feeling better.
As soon as you left her office you saw Leah standing outside, who visibly deflated as she saw your state.
“Baby…” She whispered as she pulled you into her. You were too sad and tired to even be mad at her, and you subconsciously knew that she had done the right thing.
You managed to keep the majority of your tears in while Leah walked you to her shared room with Georgia, who got the message and left straight away when she saw how upset you were.
As soon as you were on Leah’s bed you broke down completely.
“Y/N/N, shhh.” Leah whispered while you curled up in her arms.
You were a wreck, with snot coming out of your nose and your shoulders shaking with your cries. Leah just held you and whispered sweet nothings in your ear, her previous experience meaning she knew exactly what you needed.
She rocked you slowly in her arms as you gradually calmed down. “I’m here, baby. Not going anywhere.”
Gentle kisses were placed on your skin while she stroked your hair.
“I love you, my girl.” She whispered.
Eventually, your cries turned into sniffles as you calmed down. You face was rested in Leah’s neck, who gently took your head and moved it so you were facing her.
She cupped your cheeks before kissing your forehead lovingly. “Beautiful.” She whispered with a soft smile.
“I’ve got snot all over my face.” You whispered in a shaky voice which made Leah laugh slightly.
“You’re still beautiful.”
You cuddled up next to Leah after you both laid back on her hotel bed, immediately putting your head on her chest with the sound of her heartbeat making you feel like everything was going to be okay.
“I’m sorry for not telling you how I was feeling.” You whispered as you took Leah’s hand and started to play with her fingers.
You felt Leah sigh. “It was rather silly, wasn’t it?” She whispered back, neither of you wanting to break the calm mood.
“I’m going to see someone.”
You smiled as you felt Leah begin to play with your hair. “Good girl, I’m really proud of you.”
That night you had your first good sleep you’d had in weeks, all in the comfort of your lovers arms.

memories - mv1
pairing: max verstappen x fem!reader
summary: a trip down memory lane helps max overcome his biggest fear
word count: 1k
warnings: mentions of panic attacks/hyperventilation, the gas station
note: the first ever story for my 1‘000 follower special! finally
masterlist / taglist
Max hated the flashbacks. The times his mind played tricks on him - he hated it so much that he started to try and hurt himself to make it stop.
He stopped when he met you though. He was only 14 years old when he first saw you at the gas station with your family.
His father left him that day, sad and hungry. He heard you laugh before he saw you. But the moment you fell into his eyesight he forgot all about his worries - how to get home, how to face his father, how to eat.
You saw that little, okay maybe not so little, boy, standing all alone at a gas station in a foreign country. You had to go and talk to him. Ask him if he was alright. He wasn’t, but you made it alright with your presence.
„Max, do you remember the day we met? Hmm? It was a long time ago, over 10 years“, your voice quiet but steady. „Max, honey, listen to me; breathe in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth.“
Max‘ head laid in your lap. Your hands softly gripped his head and his eyes were fixated on your face. It reminded him of your first kiss.
You were laying in the grass of a field. Your head in his lap, his hands brushing hair out of your face. „Can I kiss you?“, he had asked softly. His heart was racing, feared of your rejection. But you had smiled softly at him and nodded your head yes.
His eyes closed and your lips touched. The kiss had been dry and warm. You felt his chapped lips against your soft ones. He was so gentle, afraid to break you in any way.
„Maxy, can you look at me, please?“
Max opened his eyes, he saw you staring down at you, the softest smile formed on your lips.
„Hi honey, you’re doing so good. Let’s steady that breathing of yours, hmm?“, you hummed. His head only barely able to nod.
„Alright, you remember box breathing?“, you asked him. „You remember the time I told you about my therapist and how she taught me this method?“
You had just gotten out of therapy and Max was waiting with his VW Golf in front of the building. „How was it?“, he’d asked. „Good, tiring. She taught me this method to regulate my breathing“, you told him.
„You breathe in for seven seconds and imagine the top line of a box, then you hold your breath for seven seconds and imagine the right side of that box. Breathe out for seven seconds again and imagine the underside and therefore you hold your breath for seven seconds again and imagine the left side.“
It had worked. For you at least. Every time Max was close to boil over he tried the box breathing - only to think back about the moment you told him how it worked.
„Honey, you’re doing so great. Breath in - hold - breathe out and hold again. Good. Can you look at me, Max?“
His blue eyes searched yours and he felt safe. He felt safe in your arms and would only ever feel safe in yours. You were his rock, his safe haven. You and only you.
„Hi Max“, you smiled at the boy. „Hi“, he waved back at you. „I didn’t think I‘d ever see you again“, he told you. „I know where you live“, you had laughed. „We brought you home, remember?“
His cheeks reddened with heat; „Oh yeah, thanks for that again.“ - „No problem, Maxy.“ He still wondered how and why you came back. He was a pathetic little boy. He was only successful when he won, but he didn’t, he was rightfully treated like he was.
But still, you stood there, smiling and looking at him with those hopeful eyes. And he knew that moment he couldn’t ever let you go.
„Good, good! You’re regulating your breathing, that’s so good. Max, you are in your drivers room in Abu Dhabi. You just got pole position. It’s okay, I’m here.“
Max looked at you and slowly sat up. He leaped forward and hugged you tight. He was glad to have you by his side.
„Thank you“, Max breathed out. „Don’t thank me for that.“
Max smiled lightly and you finally saw that spark light up his eyes again. His hand went into his pocket and took out a little red velvet box.
One last deep breath and Max bent down on to one knee and opened the box. The ring inside was shimmering in the light of the room. Tears started to form in your eyes.
„y/n, I love you, with all my heart. You shared my life with me for the last decade and I am so thankful for that.
From the first delicate notes of our story to the crescendo of shared dreams, you've become the symphony that colors my world. As we dance through the chapters of our lives, I can't help but envision the harmonious future that awaits us. With each step, I've realized that love is not just a fleeting emotion; it's the foundation upon which we've built a sanctuary of understanding and compassion.
So, in this serenade of time, I offer you my heart, an eternal promise wrapped in the delicate strings of vulnerability. Will you, with grace as boundless as the ocean, share this waltz of life with me? Let our love be the melody that guides us through the verses yet unwritten, and may our journey be a masterpiece painted with the strokes of enduring affection.“
„Yes, you little poet!“ And Max stood up and lifted you off the ground. Kissed you with all his emotions his little heart possessed. And he was glad to have you.
„Oh thank god, my biggest fear was you’d say no“, he breathed out. You giggled and kissed your now fiancé. „Why would I? I love you so much, Maxy. Is that why you had to hyperventilate? Aww baby, I’m so sorry.“ Max shook his head, quickly kissed your lips and told you: „I was so nervous, I actually wanted to propose in the garage, but here we are.“

At Your Service
pairing: single dad!austin butler x fem!babysitter!reader
warnings: FILTH. SMUT. minors get lost. references to reader being petite i guess? breeding kink, spanking, sexually frustrated austin, dom austin, a splash of size kink, etc. reader calls aus Mr. Butler and i explode prob missing some. read at yalls own risk.
a/n: i’ve been working on this for weeks in between all my school work and i’m very proud of it. shoutout to @headfullofpresley for the title and the lovely mood board!! and for the rest of my hog cult girlies for your support and encouragement <3
tags: @eliseinmemphis @headfullofpresley @aconflagrationofmyown @woundmetender @foreverdolly @babylovepresley @purejasmine
It was only about ten o’clock when you heard the rustling of keys against the front door. You weren’t expecting Austin to be home so soon, but the exhausted sigh he let out as he kicked his shoes off at the front door told you that tonight was just another one of his unfruitful dates. His keys clattered against the marble countertop in the kitchen, you left your spot on the couch to check in with him.
“Hey, Mr. Butler,” You started. His back was turned to you as he scanned the fridge for a beer, popping the cap off with his ring and carelessly discarding it in the sink. “How was your night?” You asked meekly. He’d been going out on these dates a lot lately and you could see he was growing tired of the routine.
“I’m home at ten p.m. on a Saturday night. That’s how it went.” He huffed after taking a swig from the bottle.
“Oh.” You almost whispered. “Um, the kids have been asleep for the last hour or so. They had dinner and we got through bath time without a fuss.” You told him, trying to change the subject.
Austin pried his gaze from the beer bottle, his eyes were now fixated on you. The kitchen lights were off, but the moonlight seeping in through the window behind him illuminated his figure. You’d never noticed how beautiful his eyes were until this moment; arctic blue irises sparkled, nearly piercing you to the center of your being. “Thanks, hon.” He said. Your cheeks began to burn as his gaze never waivered.
Austin seemed like he was in a haze for a moment until he realized you were probably standing there in front of him, waiting to get paid. He frantically patted himself down and panic flashed in his eyes when he realized he didn’t have his wallet on him. “Dammit!” He nearly yelled as a heavy fist landed on the countertop. “I-I must’ve forgotten my wallet at the restaurant.”
“Oh, it’s okay. I can stop by tomorrow or something.” You assured him. He sighs again.
You realized that dating must’ve been hard for him. Once these girls hear he’s a single father of two and a young divorcee, it seems like they’re just running for the hills. Especially the girls he goes after. Most of them are around your age; freshly 21 and ready to take on the world. They didn’t want to become a stepmother. Not yet, at least.
“Sir, are you okay? I mean, is there anything I can do to help?” You asked hesitantly, slowly walking towards the counter.
Austin let a bitter scoff leave him. Silence lingered in the air for a moment as his head rested in his palms. “Unless you know anyone who’d let me use them ‘til they’re stupid, I don’t think so.”
For reasons you’ll probably have to ask a therapist about, his words made you dizzy. “You can use me, if you want.” The words came hushed, you couldn’t believe you actually said them.
You’d have to be a blind fool to ignore how beautiful Austin was. He was damn near irresistible with those gorgeous blues. Throw his soft, blonde locs and those perfectly pink lips in the mix and he’s just good enough to eat.
He set the beer on the counter and straightened himself out, a hint of a smirk played on his lips. “Darling, as much as I appreciate the offer, you’re too damn little to take the beating I have to hand out right now. Wouldn’t wanna break you.” His comment on your size made a warmth swell between your legs, you chewed on the inside of your lip as he stared you down like a predator stalks its prey.
“Don’t think I haven’t thought of it, though. I have. A lot, actually.” Austin began to ramble a bit. “Sometimes I think I’m fumbling these dates on purpose. I’ve got a pretty young thing back at home that would probably beg me to touch her, use her how I want.” He rounded the counter to make his way over to you. He towered over you, “I just don’t think she can take it.” Austin slipped a finger under your chin and tilted your head up to look at him.
“I can take it, Mr. Butler.” You said shyly, unsure of whether you were being truthful or not. He was so close to you now, you could smell the beer on his breath.
Austin took your hand into his, he marveled at just how small it felt in his hand. Your legs almost gave out when he guided your hand down to his pants and pressed your palm to his length, “Y’sure, hon? I’m not like those boys you’re used to. I just don’t know if you’d be able to handle it.” His tone almost sounded mocking.
You’d be lying if you said you weren’t intimidated by his size just from palming him through his slacks, but you were already in too deep. “I’m sure. Just wanna help you. Want you to use me.” You were shocked by the words coming out of your mouth, and Austin seemed to be too. He quirked an eyebrow when he heard the last bit of your sentence and his jaw dropped a bit in surprise.
Suddenly, you had whiplash. Austin pushed you against the wall before he smashed his lips onto yours. The taste of beer lingered on his tongue and the smell of his cologne invaded your nostrils. He had one hand cradling your face, and his fingers were so long that you could feel them in your hair. It took you a moment to shake the surprise before you eventually melted into the kiss. You felt his hips grind into you slightly, and your legs nearly gave out again. Your senses were entirely overwhelmed, flooded with him.
He broke the kiss for a brief moment. “Arms around my neck.” He mumbled against your lips before connecting with them again. When you didn’t comply, he pulled away again. “I said, arms around my neck.” It finally registered that he was asking you to do something and you quickly scrambled to do so. Austin bent down a bit to grab your legs and once he picked you up, you almost instinctively wrapped them around his waist. He carted you off upstairs with such ease before he sat down on the edge of the bed, keeping you sat in his lap. The kiss resumed with the same depth of desire, and the way you were straddling his lap allowed you to really feel how hard he was. How massive he was. A shiver ran down your spine at the feeling of him pressed against you.
You kept your arms wrapped firmly around his neck for stability when he pulled his hands away to start unbuttoning his shirt, tossing it to the floor once he finally got it off. His skin was soft and warm as your hands wandered around his back, feeling the firmness of his muscles. You felt him pawing at the hem of your shirt, telling you to move your arms so he could tear it off.
Now bare chested, Austin yanked you flush against him. His chest kept your breasts trapped against him as his hands fell to your hips, using them to grind you down onto his still clothed length. The fabric of his pants caught your panties in a way that made a soft moan tumble from your lips. “Gotta keep quiet, baby, don’t wanna wake the kids.” He scolded, you simply nodded, biting down on your lip as the friction against your clit was already intensifying. Your pleasure was rudely interrupted when he flipped you onto your back and he stood upright, undoing his belt and shedding his pants. Your eyes widened at the sight of the tip of his cock just barely peeking out of the waistband of his boxers, red and leaking with precum. Austin chuckled at your reaction as he looked down at you sprawled on top of his mattress, “God, you really are a little bit of a thing, aren’t you? Never been with a girl so small. Gonna have to open you up a bit.”
In one swift movement, Austin pulled your skirt and panties off and discarded them to the floor. His hand trailed down your thigh until he reached your core, letting a slender finger swipe through your wet folds. “Really want me to use you, huh?” He questioned just before slipping two fingers into your tight, weeping pussy. You bit your lip so hard you swore you drew blood, trying to choke back a moan as your walls fluttered around his long fingers. Austin laughed, “So fuckin’ tight, god damn. Never thought the girl who takes such good care of my kids was such a slut.” He emphasized his last word, slut, with a curl of his fingers, brushing against your g-spot.
“Fuck, Mr. Butler, feels good.” You whimpered softly, staying conscious of the fact that the kids were asleep down the hall. Austin’s eyes darkened in an instant at his title. Mr. Butler. It sounded so pretty coming from your mouth, the pace at which he was pumping his fingers in and out of your pussy quickly increased. “You want me to use you? You think you’re stretched out enough to take me? Still feelin’ real tight around my fingers, baby.”
“I can take it, Mr. Butler, promise. Use me, please, want you to use me, Sir.” You babbled, overwhelmed with pleasure already.
Austin pulled his hand away despite the way your walls clamped around him in protest. He rid himself of his boxers and your heart thumped in your chest at the sight of his length. He grabbed you by the ankles and pulled you to the edge of the bed, perfectly aligning the tip of his cock with your entrance. You spread your legs a little further to allow him in your space. Calves wrapped tightly around his waist, his head nudged you open and he began to sink inch by euphoric inch into you with a string of swears about how tight you were.
“Ho-fuck, I knew you’d be tight, darlin’. God, you feel like fucking heaven.” Austin grunted as he finally started to thrust into you, still moving slowly at first. “Been thinkin’ about this since I hired you. Seeing you with the kids just makes me wanna take you all for myself, split you open on my cock like a good little slut.”
His thrusts picked up in speed, you bit into his shoulder to keep your moans at bay as your nails anchored into his skin. Somehow, Austin was still forming coherent sentences. “Taking me so good, baby. You on the pill?” He asked, his face buried in the crook of your neck. With a nod, you affirmed that you were and he groaned loudly at your response, the frequency sent a vibration through you and you shivered at the feeling, “Ngh, fuck- wish you weren’t. You’d look so pretty all round with my kid.” All you could do was mewl in response. You could barely comprehend what he was saying with the way his cock was slamming into you with such a delicious force.
Austin’s gaze shifted from your face down to your abdomen and his jaw dropped at the sight. He had to stop himself from cumming right then and there as he saw his cock in your belly with each thrust. “Oh, fuck, look at that, baby.” He drawled, placing your hand over your stomach. “Feel that?” He grunted, thrusting harder, if that was even possible. Your eyes rolled back when you felt him through your stomach. “You’re doin’ so good for me. Taking me so well in this pretty little pussy. Feels so good, baby, I might just have to ruin it for everyone else but me. You’d like that, wouldn’t ya?”
“Aus-, Mr. Butler…” was all you could choke out. He surrounded you entirely, all of your senses were on fire just for him. Austin abruptly pulled out and stepped back for a moment, catching his breath just enough to speak.
“On your hands and knees, you’re getting too loud.” He ordered. “What, are you so cockdumb that you can’t hear me? I said, on your hands and knees. Don’t make me tell you again.” Austin seethed once you didn’t respond to his command.
You were grounded just enough to form a snappy response, “That is what you wanted, isn’t it?”
Austin nodded slightly as he bit his lip, a sharp exhale sounded through his nose. He was caught off guard by your sudden attitude, maybe even a little pissed off.
Perhaps it was because he hadn’t been presented with anything he wanted in a long, long time. A hardworking man such as himself could rarely accept anything if he hadn’t earned it. He didn’t expect your off hand comment to incite such a strange feeling within him. All he knew was that he needed to assert himself as the strong, dominant man he is. He needed to show you that he earns his keep.
“Alright,” he said quietly, turning to his dresser and opening the top drawer. You didn’t know what you were expecting, but it sure wasn’t a fucking paddle. “You wanna be a brat? I’ll treat you like a brat then.” He sat on the edge of the bed, roughly pulling you over his thigh and flipping you on your stomach effortlessly.
You were caught off guard by the first slap of the paddle and you couldn’t stop the yelp that escaped you as the searing pain radiated throughout your entire ass cheek.
“Count.” Austin demanded. Your blood was pumping so hard that it muffled your hearing, you didn’t even realize what he said until his fingers threaded themselves into your hair and harshly pulled on it, yanking your head up and looking him in the eye. “I told you to count.” He gritted through clenched teeth, accentuating his frustration with another tug at your hair when he said his last word.
“One.”
“Awh, she knows how to listen.” He cooed mockingly before delivering another smack.
“T-two.”
He placed the paddle down to use his hand to smooth against your ass, grinning to himself when he felt how hot they already were. “Still wanna be a brat, honey? I could do this all night. You look so pretty bent over my knee like this.” Austin kneaded one of your cheeks in his hand as he spoke, providing a sliver of relief before landing another smack to it, now using his hand.
“Three.” You whimpered. You felt his cock twitch against your abdomen when he saw that his hand left a mark that covered your entire cheek. You were so tiny to him, and he was certainly taking advantage of that.
Austin landed several more hits to your ass, your cheeks were tear stained and your thighs were slick by the time he decided he’d punished you enough. As if to say “truce”, he leaned down to press a kiss to the heated, stinging skin of your ass as he massaged the other cheek with his hand. “You gonna behave now?” He whispered against your skin.
“Mhm, yes, Mr. Butler, ‘m sorry.” You whimpered into the now mussed bed sheet, the fabric muffling the sound.
“Good. Hands and knees now, princess.” Austin directed, giving you one last pat on your ass to encourage you up. You gathered all the strength you possibly could and lifted yourself to your knees, leaning down on your elbows. What resembled a growl sounded from behind you as Austin drank in the view. He’s never had such a pretty, young pussy; he couldn’t get enough.
Not of the way it felt sucking his fingers in so greedily. Not of the way it glistened with the blend of your arousal and his. Especially not of the way you felt so tight and warm, wrapped up around his cock like you wanted to keep him there forever. He doesn’t think he’d be able to resist if you asked.
You winced in pain when his hand came into contact with your recently abused ass, but your focus shifted once you felt him slipping back into you from behind. He slowly sank himself inside you until he bottomed out, allowing you to fully feel the stretch. God, it burned like hell. But if this is what hell felt like, you’d spend the rest of your days as a sinner. He filled you so effortlessly, the sensation had you burying your face into his pillow to muffle your moans. You felt him lean over you as you hid your ecstasy, he pressed a kiss between your shoulders, “There’s that good girl,” he muttered against your skin. “I know, it feels so good that you just have to cry out like that. ‘S alright, baby, just muffle those pretty moans into the pillow.”
Slowly at first, Austin thrusted into you, letting you feel every inch and every vein; relishing in the way that your walls would constrict around him with every stroke of your g-spot. As muffled as they may be, he still listened closely to all the precious sounds you were making. He let them engulf him wholly. It was like the most beautiful symphony he’d ever heard; every strangled moan of his title, Mr. Butler, beckoned him closer and closer to his breaking point. Unbeknownst to you, he was still holding back. His subconscious mind knew you were small and fragile, likely easily breakable. But his restraint was fading and it was becoming evident as his thrusts picked up in speed, grabbing you by the waist tightly.
Months of pent up sexual frustration were bursting at the seams. You let Austin take what he needed from you. That’s how you found yourself face down, ass up in his bed in the first place.
He finally began putting some truth behind his thoughts spoken in desperation. Austin finally allowed himself to use you. It was unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. From this angle, he was hitting spots you didn’t know existed. You didn’t even think it was possible to feel so good.
Until he hooked a toned arm around your waist, hoisting you up on your knees. You could feel his heart pounding against your back as he held you to his chest, mercilessly rutting into you. A cry of pleasure threatened to escape and you frantically tried to release Austin’s grip on your throat to bring it up to cover your mouth. “Such a good girl, stayin’ quiet for me.” He grunted between thrusts once he realized what you were trying to do, peppering the shell of your ear with kisses as he snaked a rough and calloused hand down to rub circles around your swollen clit.
Before you could even realize, your orgasm was quickly approaching. Austin actually realized it before you did and leaned in to whisper against your skin. “You close, princess? I can feel it, squeezin’ me so tight. Go ‘head and cum for me.” He punctuated his command by nipping at the skin in the nape of your neck. The warmth of his breath fanning against you was all it took for you to come undone.
You were sure you looked pathetic; frantically grabbing at Austin’s arm for purchase and barely able to keep yourself upright, all while muffling your cries of ecstasy into his hand. He wasn’t far behind you, his thrusts became more urgent; nearly insatiable until he buried his cock deep inside you one last time. With an obscene groan that you felt vibrate against your back, Austin filled you with his cum. His cock twitched, triggering a flutter of your walls that incited a moan from behind you.
Your chests heaved in time as he came down from his high. His forehead rested on your shoulder while he recovered, placing a few featherlight kisses to your back every now and then as he kept you full of him.
Austin wrapped an arm around your waist to settle you back on all fours on the bed before pulling out. A shiver ran down your spine and you whimpered as his cum quickly poured out of you, he watched as it flowed and chewed at his lower lip. He was entranced by the sight; his sweet babysitter laid all fucked out on his bed, leaking his cum.
“You alright, honey?” He checked once he could form the words. The way you simply nodded into the mattress made him laugh. “C’mon. Let’s wash up.”
Austin led you to the shower where he gently cleaned you of the sweat, spit and cum.
“Feel better now?” You joked as he rinsed you off.
Austin nodded with a gentle smile and brushed a damp strand of your hair behind your ear before cupping your cheek to hold you to his chest. “Thank you, dear. You have no idea how bad I needed that.”
“Happy to help, sir.”
And you were.
Anything to help Mr. Butler.

Hii can I request Blitzø hcs with a fem S/O who always says she's ok and fine even when she's not, like she's sensitive but knows people are rude and shitty, so she keeps all her feelings in and doesn't speak up bc she doesn't wanna seem like a burden? Tyy!
ofc!! sorry this took so long
~~~~
blitz x f! reader who feels like a burden hc’s
• growing up you’ve always been told to keep your feelings to yourself because it’s a “hush hush” type thing (mainly because of your parents)
• even before you and blitz started dating you always kept things buried inside. you’re a typical yapper, but go completely non verbal whenever you’re going through some things
• blitz being blitz, he didn’t pay attention to it at first until he made a joke one day that may or may not made you cry in the bathroom
“thank satan you stopped talking, you were driving me crazy.”
you abruptly left the meeting room and locked yourself in the bathroom, leaving blitz to himself like, “wtf did i even say”
• later on he asked you about it, being like “did i say something orrr” and you told him you were already having a shitty day and that’s when the dots connected. “well if you ever need to spill your heart out you can.”
• you appreciated it, but didn’t want to feel like a burden to him since he already has his problems.
• years later, you two started a serious relationship. he trusted you already, so he wasn’t afraid to talk to you about his stuff (you had to pesterize him for it, but he did managed to tell you things)
• you on the other hand was still afraid of being a burden to him. you didn’t want him to think that you’re too much for him to handle so you kept things to yourself.
• blitz still caught on that you’re not being honest about your feelings, so he would ask you allll the time.
“i’m fine, okay? im fine. don’t worry about me.”
“just tell me what’s going on.”
“i’m just tired.”
“bullshit and you know it.”
•after arguing back and forth you finally told him what’s been bothering you, which consisted of people being shitty to you in the past and how their words still affect you to this day, your own thoughts haunting you, anxiety, etc.
• blitz understood 100% about what you were getting at and he told you that he won’t ever think of you as a burden and that you shouldn’t be afraid to talk to him about things
“but you already have your own stuff to deal with, i don’t want to be added on your plate.”
“and you were always there when i needed you and i want to be there for you.”
• he comforted you as many times as he could. whenever you’re not talking or slouching in chairs he’ll take your hand into his wherever you guys are at. in a meeting and sees that you’re not okay? he’ll sit beside of you and hold your hand while continuing to talk. ESPECIALLY when you guys are laying down on the couch or bed he’ll just flat out hold you, even if you don’t tell him what’s going on because eventually you’ll tell him.
• “want me to fuck those feelings out?”
“let’s role play, me being the therapist and you’re my patient. let’s sigmund freud up this bitch!”
• he really cares about you but has a weird way of saying it
• he offered an idea to where if you really don’t want to talk to him about when you’re sad/upset/any other negative emotions, you can lay your head on his lap facing his stomach so he’ll know if you’re not okay.
• you liked that idea, and the first time you followed through with it blitz kinda got confused but then was like “oh shit, she’s not okay”
you would bury your head against his stomach, wanting to get as close to him as possible. blitz combed your hair with his fingers and slightly purred, “ready to talk about?”
if you mumble no then he’ll just keep massaging your scalp or rub your back, but if you do start talking then he’s all ears and will try to make you sit up so he can hear you better, but if you still wanna bury your head against him then he’ll still try his best to hear you. “sorry say that again?…one more time…you’re not gonna believe this but you’re gonna have to repeat that.”
• long story short, blitz wants you to be up and honest as you can to him. he hates it when you don’t talk about what’s going on with you because he cares so much and doesn’t want to lose you. he’ll always reassure you that you’re not a burden just by speaking up on how you’re feeling
{} Reader’s P.O.V {}
“I get to drive Baby?!” You said standing there.
“Yes ma’am,” He said
“Are you sure? What would Dean say?”
He chuckled. “ I think he would make an exception for you.” He shook the keys at you. “ You better take them before I change my mind.” You smiled, took the keys, and hopped in. He walked around and got into the passenger seat.
“So what if I wreck? What if I break her?” He opened his mouth to rebuttal but you cut him off. “ What if I hit a cow and total it?”
He laughed. “If you see a cow the break is right.” He grabbed your leg and put your foot on the pedal. “There. I think you’re capable of not wrecking and she doesn’t break easy.” You turned the key and Baby hummed to life. “ There’s a bar under the seat to move it up.” He helped you scoot the seat into the right position. “Don’t worry darlin’ you got this.” He slapped your knee for encouragement then wrapped his hand around your thigh. You put the car in reverse and look behind you to make sure you can start backing up. “ Go out the way we came in and turn right on the main road. Who would you rather have as your navigator me or Siri?”
“You, but you have to sing the directions.” He chuckled.
You made it to the stop sign at the main road turning right when you were clear. You hit the gas pedal a little too hard and the tires squealed for a second. Your cheeks got warm. “Sorry.”
He laughed. “Easy there turbo. I thought you were trying not to break her.”
“I'm sure I’m not the first to squeal her tires.”
“Fair enough.” He grinned. “You’re gonna go straight through 4 lights. At the 5th one turn left.” You gave him a nervous look. “Don’t worry I’ll remind you before you get there.” He turned the radio up and started belting out the lyrics to Back in Black making you smile as you went through the first light. The second one was red as you came up on it. You were more careful with the gas pedal this time as you started to go. You made it to the 3rd light. Red again.
“Do you intentionally pick the streets with the most red lights on them?”
He chuckled. “Trust me, I feel the same way you do.” Back in Black faded out and The Dance by Garth Brooks starts to play. You turn the volume up a smidge and start singing along. “ You know Garth Brooks?!?” He said shocked.
“Yes. I like country music too Ackles.”
He grabbed his chest like he was in pain. “My heart!!’” He smiled.
You smiled back at him. His thumb started to stroke your leg as you both sang along. The light finally turned green and you started to go.”So Mr. Ackles.” He looked at you with raised eyebrows. “ Why acting?” you said in your best reporter voice.
“Oh, didn’t know I had an interview today,” He smirked, “ Well, My father is an actor. He played in a few Dallas episodes, and 5 episodes of Walker Texas Ranger, and he did some supporting roles in movies. I used to watch him study the script and help him memorize his lines. I was amazed. How he could flip a switch and just be another person. I did some modeling and commercials when I was young. Got bullied for it so I took a break, and got really into sports. The plan was to go to Texas Tech University and become a physical therapist. Ya know help out my fellow jocks,” he chuckled. “ I loved sports. Still do, but it just wasn’t the same. My real passion was acting. So my sophomore year I decided I didn't care what everyone thought. I took a theater class.” You made it to the 5th light ”Left at this light sweetheart” you got in the turn lane and waited. “After this light straight through 2 lights, over the bridge, then go under the train tracks.”
“2 Lights over water under the train tracks. Got it.
He smiled and continued his story. “ After I graduated I moved to L.A to pursue it fully. Started auctioning and landed a couple of guest spots. Then my big break was on Days Of Our Lives.” You looked over at him with wide eyes. He put his hand up “Shush I learned a lot on that set. I did Dark Angel, Dawson’s Creek, and Smallville. Got to do a movie with my dad in 2005 right before Supernatural.” He turned back to you “Why Med school?”
The light turned green and you rolled forward as the traffic started to go. “Well, My father was a surgeon so it was determined before I was even born that I was to follow in his footsteps.” You glanced at him out of the corner of your eye. You had his undivided attention “I wasn’t all in until one night when I was 14 my dad and I were coming home from a baseball game. There was a bad crash and He didn’t hesitate he rushed in and started triaging people and helping them while I dialed 911. It was amazing. I even got to help out after the operator told me help was on the way. After watching him there wasn’t a doubt in my mind. I wanted to be just like him, a hero, saving people.”
“ Your pop sounds like quite a guy”
“ Oh, He was.” The smile left his face. “You should have seen him on the day I got my acceptance letter from Columbia. He was so proud. Same premed program he went through ya know.” You made it through both lights green, you started on the bridge. “ The 3rd week into premed he was killed by a drunk driver.”
“What year was that?”
“August 23rd, 2005.”
“Yeah, 2 weeks before. So after that, I immersed myself in school. Nothing else mattered” You started under the train tracks
“And now I feel like a complete jackass.”
“Don’t feel that way, hun. You didn't know.” you put your hand on top of his. He turned his hand over and laced his fingers through yours. “ But directions might be nice.”
“Shit sorry, straight 2 lights. Right at the 3rd.” He looked at you
You could feel his question in the air and the silence was getting overwhelming. “You can ask why I didn't go through with it..” He looked at you with furrowed brows. “ Yea like you weren't thinking it?”
“Maybe. So what happened?”
You got to the 2nd light before you hit a red light. “ So, I got my bachelor’s degree, passed the MCATS, Got through medical school, and during my internship, I talked my mom into moving to New York. We got closer than ever.” you took a deep breath, “ My second year of residency she got sick and didn’t make it.” The light turned green and you started to go. She was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer. I lost all motivation for medicine and everything that went along with it.”
“I can take over if you wanna pull over.”
“Thank you, but I’m ok,” you said, turning at the 3rd light. He looked over at you with questioning eyes. “Seriously I’m ok.”
“Watch out for pedestrians up here. Straight through 4 stop signs. Left at the light. Then straight through one light. Right at the second.” He was quiet for a minute. “I'm sorry about your folks, sweetheart.”
“Thank you.”
“Are you sure you don’t want me to drive?”
“Um, no way. This might be the only time I get to drive this car.”
“Not if I can help it.” He winked at you, and you smiled. You made it past the pedestrian stop signs “ What was your mama like?”
“She was my best friend. After she moved to New York I swear she decreased in age. More like my sister than my mom. She was crazy.” You said with a smile on your face.” you stopped at the first stop sign and went through it. “You’ll probably like this one. One of the biggest Cowboy fans you’d ever meet.”
“Oh yeah?”
You nodded. “She always told my dad she was gonna leave him for Troy Aikman.” He chuckled. “ Everyone tells me I look just like her. Their wedding photo is on my lock screen. You handed him your phone as you stopped at the second stop sign then continued.
“Aw. You do look just like her.” You smiled. “ They are beautiful”
“Thank you.” You smiled at him as you stopped for the third stop sign. He was so cute. Not just in a physical way. He was genuine and such a nice guy. You thought to yourself, You just hoped this wasn’t too good to be true.
“What?”
“Oh, Nothing.” You said as you went through the intersection.
He shook his head and chuckled. “So you ever think about going back into medicine?”
Stopping at the 3 cars deep at the 4th stop sign you sighed. “ I don’t know. Mac mentioned it a couple of times. I’m not gonna lie, I have thought about it. It would be nice for my job to mean something to someone, but if I were going to I would become a Physician assistant maybe. To become a surgeon I’d have to finish the resident years, then go through a surgical internship then a lot of testing for board certifications and licensing. I’m too old for all that. If I did I would just want to jump in and do it.” You looked at him as you stopped at the crosswalk. He was smiling at you now. “What?”
“You’re cute when you ramble.”
“Not rambling, thinking out loud,” you said in a mocking tone. He laughed. You went through the intersection, You made it through the 3 lights green as you both sang along with the music.
“Don’t hate me. Straight through 7 red lights.” He said wrinkling his face.
“SEVEN?!”
“Yes.”
“Oh my freaking gosh. I’m going to die of starvation Jensen.”
“Don’t worry. I’ll make a deal and bring you back.” You let out a loud dramatic sign. He chuckled. You made it through 4 lights green. “See that wasn’t so bad.”
“I'm sorry I couldn’t hear you over the growls of my empty ass stomach.” He laughed and slightly threw his head back. You made it to the last light before you got stopped again.
“Almost there, I promise. Tell me. Who's your favorite country singer of all time?’
“Randy Travis” you didn't even have to think about it.
“Really?”
“Absolutely. His voice is incredible!” You said as the light turned green and traffic started to go.”You?”
“Garth Brooks.”
“I see that. I saw him live once with Mac.”
“Oh yeah? Me too, not with Mac thou.”
“I’m sure she’d be interested if you want me to set it up.” He squinted at you “I’m just sayin.”
He rolled his eyes. “I think you and Padalecki would get along. You both got some dumb jokes.” you chuckled. “Right at the next road and it's the first building on the right. Uh, how are you at parallel parking?” You squinted at him now, turned right, and parked with ease. You turned to him and stuck your tongue with a wrinkled nose. He laughed.
“This is Paperboy.” He said with excitement in his voice. “One of my favorite breakfast/ brunch places in Austin.” You turned the car off and got out. He met you at his side of the front of the Impala. He held his arm out. You took his hand and wrapped his arms around your shoulders while wrapping your around his waist. He grinned. The building was cute, a white building with a funky brown lattice. A small patio by the front door and the second floor was an open patio as well. You stopped at the hostess stand and he asked for an upper patio table. “Of course Mr. Ackles.” The hostess grabbed 2 menus. “Will Mr Padalecki be joining you two today?”
“Nope. Just the two of us.”
“Alright, follow me.” Once you got to the stairs he unwrapped his arm and gestured for you to go first. You followed her up the stairs to the patio. She sat you at a shaded table in the back corner. You pick your chair and Jensen sits across from you. “Patty Sue will be right with you.
“Thank you,” you both said as you started to look over the menu.
“So, what looks good?” You looked up at him up and down raising an eyebrow. He chuckled as his cheeks got slightly pink. “On the menu darlin’.”
“Well, I'm just so hungry everything looks good.”
“Aww you poor little thing.” He said in a playful tone making you laugh.
“Hello, my name is Patty Sue. Oh Jensen, How are you dear?”
“Hi, Aunt Patty. I’m good. How’s your day going?”
“Ya know this place is busy as always.”
“Aunt Patty this is (y/n). She’s new here in Austin and I got the honor of showing her around today.”
“Hey there sugar.” you shook her hand. “What have ya’ll been up to?
“We just got done canoeing at Barton.”
“Aw, how fun, Are you enjoying Austin so far?”
“It has some good attractions.” you winked at Jensen and he smiled his bedazzling smile again.
“Well. Ya’ll probably worked up an appetite, Wanna start with some drinks?”
“Just sweet tea for me please,” you said
“Make it two.”
“I’ll be right back guys.”
“Thank you, Aunt Patty,” he said as she turned to walk away. He sat his elbow on the table and rested his chin on his hands.”So, what’s next (y/n)?”
“I don’t know. You said you had a mini round trip planned.”
He chuckled. “No, for you. Job, car, Boyfriend?” He raised his eyebrow at the last word. And your cheeks got warm.
“Well remember how I said Mac has mentioned medicine a couple of times?” He nodded. “The first time we talked about it I told her what I told you. About being a P.A. The second time she brought it up she just so happened to run into Erica. Erica and I interned at the same hospital. And can you believe they have an opening in their office?”
“Let me guess for a Physician assistant.”
“Oh my gosh, it’s like your psychic.” He smirked.
“Here’s your drinks my dears.” Patty said sitting down your teas.” What can I get ya to eat?” Jensen gestured for you to go first.
“Can I get the steak and egg sandwich with a side of cheesy hashbrowns, please?”
“You sure can honey, Jay you want your usual?”
“Please”
“Alright, I’ll get that in for ya.”
“Thank you,” you both said again. And you smiled.
“So, you gonna call Erica about it?” he asked taking a drink.
“Like I said I’ve thought about it and it would be nice to feel like I’m doing something that matters.” you took a drink “Mmm this sweet tea is amazing.”
“Just wait till you have the food.” He smiled. Then he readjusted his hand.” So, I’m not pushing, but I think you should.”
“I know. I just don’t want my mama to feel like I betrayed her. Since ya know medicine failed her.”
“Sweetheart. I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting your mama, but I don’t think she would feel betrayed at all.”
“That’s what Mac said.”
“See 2 against 1,” he said and you smiled. “You could give it a try and if your heart is not there try something else.”
“You make some good points, Ackles.”
“I usually do,” he said in a smartass tone, making you laugh.
“So, What lies ahead for the famous Jensen Ackles, Big movie? Starring in another TV show? Supernatural reboot?” you used your reporter voice again. You grinned and took another drink.
“Stop.” He said smiling. “ I would actually love to do a Supernatural reboot, but I can’t confirm nor deny if I’m ever going to get to. I’m gotta fly to Vancouver here in a couple of days and shoot this episode for Tracker. Should only take a couple of weeks max. Waiting on a call from Kripke about shooting the final season of The Boys. And Countdown should start later this year. We’ll see,”
“How exciting.” again in the reporter's voice.
“Would you stop?” he grinned.
“Ok, I’m done.”
“Here we are, guys.” Patty came back carrying your food. “Everything looks good?” You both nod. “Anything else I can get for ya?’
“No, This looks great. Thank you.” Jensen said as he started mixing the egg and steak tips on his plate.
“No problem Dear. Yell if ya’ll need anything ok?”
“Will do” you said as she walked away. “Well that looks delicious,” you say looking at his plate. He chuckles stabbing a piece of steak with his fork and reaches it over to you. “Mmm,”
“I am going tomorrow morning to pick up a car from the dealership,” you said after swallowing and picking up your sandwich.
He swallowed his food. “So what was next?” He smiled his bedazzling smile. Your cheeks got hot and you could feel them turning red. You took a bite of your sandwich pointed to your full mouth and shrugged. He laughed “ Ya gotta swallow eventually.” You cough almost choking as your mind takes his comment in a dirty way. He smiled. “Perv.” you raised your eyebrows and dropped them with smirking lips. The food was amazing though. You would definitely be coming back here.
“ More sweet tea?” Patty asked walking over.
You swallowed your bite. “Yes please.” Jensen nodded with his mouth full.
“So her question you’ll answer,” he said after swallowing his bite.
“I’m sorry i just have to get something in my stomach after stopping at all those red lights.”
He laughed “So dramatic.” You smiled and continued eating. Patty was back in a flash with 2 more teas. As you finish your food you debate in your head about the P.A job and Jensen’s boyfriend question popped up a couple of times. Was he crazy? You haven’t even known each other for 24 hours yet? But it’s not like he was asking to be your boyfriend more like a Are you open to the thought. Were you open to the thought? “Penny for your thoughts darlin’,”
His voice snapped you out of your head. “I’m gonna call Erica about that job tomorrow.”
“Yeah?” He smiled. “ You sure?”
“Yes. I’ll take your advice if I don’t love it, I’ll try something else.”
“Good.”
You both finished eating and Patty came to clear your plates. “Anything else for you guys?”
“Nope. I am stuffed.”
“No Aunt Patty just the check please,” Jensen said.
“Ackles?” He turned around as soon as he heard his name.
“Oh my god! It’s Jared Padalecki!!” And let out a squeal. Jensen stood up to hug his friend. “ And Genevieve Padalecki?!” He squealed again. “(y/n) he played Sam Winchest.. oh wait never mind.”
You rolled your eyes. “And I’m the dramatic one?!” You stood up and stuck your hand out. “I’m (y/n)”
Jared laughed and took your hand. “I’m Jared. This is my wife Genevieve.”
“You can call me Gen.” She said as you shook hands.
“So… Whatcha ya’ll up to?” Jared asked Jensen with raised eyebrows and a huge grin.
“ You’ll have to excuse my friend,” Jensen said to you and turned to Jared. “ (y/n) Just moved here. I met her last night at the radio company show. I’m showing her around Austin.
“So, like a date?” Jared asked. Jensen rolled his eyes.
“Jared quit,” Gen elbowed his stomach.
“We just finished, but do you guys wanna sit down?” you asked them.
“No, we don’t wanna impose,” Jared said.
“No imposition, Give me the dirt Padalecki.” You said and Jensen glared at you. You raised your eyebrows and shrugged. “What? You said we’d get along.”
“Really?! “ Jared turned to Jensen.
“Yeah, you both tell dumb jokes. I think that is what I said.” Jensen admitted.
“Are you sure?” Gen asked.
“Sit down, Genevieve,” Jensen said. You all sat down. Jensen looked at you and raised his eyebrows and licked his lips.” Jared, get this shit. (y/n) has never seen Supernatural.” Your lips went in a hard straight line as you looked at him with a blank stare. He poked the tip of his tongue out at you.
“Are you kidding?’ Jared turned to you. “How have you never seen Supernatural?”
“Oh I don’t know, just not my thing I guess” You took a drink. Jared opened his mouth to say mouth, but stopped when you put your finger up “However, Gilmore Girl though. So good. Dean Forester seems so much better than Dean Winchester.” You smirked at Jensen with a wrinkled nose. Gen and Jared laughed.
“I like her Ackles.”
Patty brought your check back. “ Well look what the cat drug in.” Jared and Gen got up to hug Patty. “ How are you two? How are the babies?”
“We are all good Aunt Patty,” Jared said as he squeezed her. “Hey. We’re gonna let ya’ll get back to it. See you later Jensen.” Jensen got up and hugged Jared. You got up to shake his hand, but before you knew it you were in his embrace. You squeezed him back. “It was really good to meet you. I hope we see you again.”
Gen stuck her hand out. “Again sorry about him. It was really nice to meet you though.” She said with a smile.
“You guys too.” You said with a big grin. They turned and started walking to their table. You sat back down.
Patty laid your check in the middle of the table “ I better get his food going. We all know how he eats.” Jensen chuckled. “ Ya’ll have fun and (y/n) don’t be a stranger.” you smiled at her.
“Your friend is a goober,” you said to Jensen after Patty walked away.
“I’m sorry have you met your friends?” You both laughed,
You snatched the check folder. Jensen’s jaw dropped and his eyes went wide. “Uh I think the fuck not!” he put his hand out. You slowly shook your head with a wide grin. He took a deep breath closing his eyes and loudly sighed. He raised his hand then dropped it again palm up. “Now!”
“Or what?” you bit your bottom lip
His eyebrows raised. And he brought his first to his chin resting it on his thumb and closed his eyes. “(y/n)” He said in a deep growl.
“Jensen” You lowered your voice as much as you could. He smiled for a split second then his face was hard again.
He quickly slid to the chair beside you and put his hand on your knee. You manage to keep your composure. “Last chance.” Your heart starts racing as his hand slides up to your mid-thigh. “3.” He tightened his grip. You bit your lip fighting the urge to laugh. “2” he squeezed even harder. He opened his mouth to say 1 but you couldn't hold in the laugh anymore. He releases his grip and then squeezes again. “Alright, you win,” you said while laughing. He started to squeeze again “Take it.” He took the folder with his free hand and sat it on the table. He gave you a wide grin and started tickling your leg. You grab his hand and lean towards him, pushing it back into his lap. You swallowed hard when you looked up into his mossy eyes, his lips just inches away from yours. Your heart almost burst out of your chest when his soft, full, perfect lips met yours. The kiss was short and sweet. He ended the kiss and nuzzled your nose with his. You whined. “Public place, there babe.” you nodded and tried to catch your breath. He kissed the tip of your nose as you pulled his wallet out of his back pocket. He sat straight up picking up the folder. You lean back in your chair. Your cheeks warmed as you thought about how you’d be kissing him if you weren’t in a public place.
Putting his wallet away he asked, “You ready for that road trip?” His voice snaps you back to reality again.
“Restroom first.”
“Downstairs by the front doors.” He said.” I gotta make a phone call and say bye to Jared. Meet me at the front door?” he said taking his phone out of his pocket.
“Sounds good Ackles.” You grabbed your purse, and as you passed behind him you stopped, you felt his muscles tighten as you put your hands on his shoulders and leaned down to his ear. “Don’t forget to tell him what an awesome driver I am,” you whispered. Walking away you hear him chuckle and then talk into his phone.
{} Jensen’s P.O.V {}
He couldn’t stop himself from watching her walk away as he finished his call. Damn, what I would do, He shook his head trying to get the naughty images out of his mind. He stood up and slid his phone back into his pocket as he started for the stairs.
“Oh my god, it’s Jensen Ackles,” Jared said and started fanning himself as Jensen walked up to his table.
Jensen dropped his jaw. “Where?!” Jared and Gen laughed,
“So?” Jared asked acting giddy.
“So?” Jensen repeated. Jared raised his eyebrows. Jensen grinned.“ I’ll call you later.”
“You better.” They bumped fists. “Love you.”
“Love you more,” Jensen said walking away.
As he walked down the stairs, he couldn't stop thinking about her. He tripped and almost fell. Come on, Jensen. He stopped once he got to the doors and waited for her. He opened the door open for an elderly couple. “Thank you, young man.” The older woman said to him.
“Not a problem ma’am,” he told her as she walked through. He looked over and there she was. Watching him with the sweetest smile he’d ever seen. After the couple passed through he gestured for her to come through. “My Lady.”
“Good sir,” She said as she walked through. She pulled the keys out of her pocket and held them out for him. He opened her car door and shut it after she got in. Walking around to the driver's side he smirked as he noticed her scoot more toward the middle. Her cheeks pinkened as she realized she was caught. So freaking cute he thought.
He got in and started up the Impala. “Here, connect to this thing.” He disconnected the Bluetooth adapter from his phone. “I want to hear this epic playlist you were telling me about.”
She smirked, “I don’t know if I’d use the word epic, but it’s got some good tunes.” She said pulling her phone out. He watched her. Darlin’ everything about you is epic he thought to himself.
“Yeah Yeah. Play me some music, cowgirl.” She laughed as Friends in Low Places started to play, He wrapped his arm around her. He watched from the corner of his eye as she snuggled up to him and started to sing. Oh sweetheart what are you doing to me?
{} Reader's P.O.V {}
He started singing along as he pulled out. “Jensen, I have a question. “
“Shoot.”
“Can you this one time please.” a puzzled expression came over his face “ Not take the route with the most red lights and stop signs?”
“I’ll think about it.” He laughed as he turned onto I-35
You made it through about 30 minutes of halfway driving before you had to do something.. “Alright Ackles, you got courage for a round of 21 questions?” You asked raising your eyebrows.
He chuckled. “ I think I’m up for it”
“Ok let's start easy. Favorite color?
“Blue. Favorite season?” He asked
“Fall. Favorite Movie?”
“Saving Private Ryan. What's your favorite color?”
“Pretty Sure there's a rule against repeats.”
With a smile, he says“Oh I didn’t realize we are in a championship match where the rules matter.”
You rolled your eyes. “Smartass.”
“You know it kettle.” he chuckled.
You smiled. “It's Teal or blue. Favorite holiday?”
“Christmas. You get one superpower. What is it?”
You thought for a second. “ can I pick 2?”
“You get 1.” He smiled.
You sighed. “Fine. Probably the ability to fly.
“What was the other one?”
“Invisibility.” He raised his eyebrows. “Oh come, how fun would that be. I would just fuck with people all day.”
He laughed “Of course you would.”
“Who was your favorite character to play.” He opened his mouth “Besides Dean.”
“Hmm,” he thought. “Ben. Soldier boy from the boys. He was really fun. First celebrity crush?”
“Tom Cruise. Favorite horror movie.”
He thought for a second. “ The Shining. Dream vacation?
“Uh. Either Italy or Bora Bora.” He smiled. “First concert?”
“Michael Jackson 1984. Do you believe in ghosts?”
“Sometimes yes, sometimes no.” You shrugged. “ Favorite Food?
“Steak.” He thought for a second. “The best gift you've ever been given?”
“My locket.”
“Go on ”
“ Mac gave it to me a couple of Christmases ago. It has a picture of my mom on one side and my dad on the other.” He looked at your neck. “ Favorite radio company song to sing?”
“City grown Willow. What's your favorite radio company song?”
You smirked. “City grown Willow or Let Me Be.”
He smiled. “ I gotta know why.”
“City grown willow, the lyrics and melody with your voice is mwah.” You gestured a Chef kiss. He chuckled..” Let Me Be, because of the fun you had last night while singing it.”
“So you were watching me?” He said in a hitch-pitched voice.
“Kinda hard not to you.” He smiled and his cheeks turned pink.
“Favorite music genre?”
“Country. Favorite TV show?
“Friends. If you could look into a crystal ball and see everything about your future, would you do it?
He thought for a second. “I don’t think I would.’
“Interesting.”
“Ok Freud” You giggled. “Do you have any siblings?”
“Nope. I'm an only child.”
He smiled. “That makes sense.”
“Excuse me?”
“Calm down.” He chuckled. “Only children tend to be more independent.”
“Oh. I thought we were going to the spoiled brat route.”
“Eh, not yet.” He joked.
You laughed, “What's the first thing you notice about me?”
“ You're hair. It looked really soft and I wanted to touch it. You?”
“Of course, I'm gonna say you're eyes. Have you seen them suckers?” He laughed. “ When did you have your first kiss?”
He sighed. “Preschool.”
“Oh, so you started young huh?”
He laughed and then his face went serious. “Are you looking for a relationship?”
“Really Jensen?”
“I'm just playing the game sweetheart.” He grinned slowing down on the exit onto I-35 Frontage Rd.
“Maybe.” You raised an eyebrow at him.
“A maybe Isn't a no.”
“Birthday?” you asked.
“March 1st. Favorite subject in school?”
“Science. Yours?”
“Look who's reusing questions now.” He chuckled. “Algebra. Favorite food?”
“Loaded nachos. Craziest place you've had sex?”
He cleared his throat. “Spicing things up are we?”
“I'm just playin' the game sweetheart”
He chuckled “Bar bathroom.” He slowed down for the red light ahead. When the light turned green he turned right onto Wonder World Dr. “ And no it wasn't a random hook-up.”
“I wasn't judging.”
“Sure.” He smiled. “ you?”
“Playground” He looked at you with raised eyebrows. “It was after dark, Nobody else was there.”
You turned to him. “ Have you ever cheated?”
He sighed. “Once. I was 19. I was young and stupid. It hasn’t happened since and It never will again.” At least he was honest and it did seem like he was remorseful.
He looked at you. “Dealbreaker?”
You thought for a second. “Not necessarily.” you cleared your throat “Everyone has done things they aren’t proud of. The thing that matters is you learn from them.”
“Ok, Freud.” you smiled, “ Trust me I did.”
You two stayed silent as Turn The Page faded and Sounds Of Someday started to play “Oh my god, this band is so good.” Jensen chuckled.
“I saw them live last night, They’re ok.” You said as you shrugged your shoulders. He threw his head back and laughed.
“Is there ever gonna come a day where you don’t give me shit?” he asked.
“Eh, probably not,” you confessed. He laughed again. “What number are we on?”
“16 I think and I do believe it’s my turn.” you gestured with your hand for him to go. “It’s the zombie apocalypse is here. You get 3 people for your team. Who is it?”
You chuckled. “ Well, I have heard about these 2 brothers that are really good with that stuff.” He chuckled. “ Oh, Rambo. He’d fuck some shit up.”
“Is that your 3?” He asked slowing down for another red light.
“Yeah, I think so. Worse case I have some eye candy before I die.” He rolled his eyes and smiled.
“So, 17 would you rather be 15 minutes late or 1 hour early?”
“Definitely early. I hate being late.” He shook his head. “When was your first kiss?”
“About an hour ago. ”You burst out laughing as he looked at you in shock with wide eyes. “I'm just kidding. 4th grade.”
“Not funny.” He declared as he started to go after the light finally turned green. He went straight onto route 12.
“I’d have to disagree”
“So. Mr. Ackles, He looked at you. “Are you looking for a relationship?” you raised your eyebrows.
“I wasn’t, but ya never know.” He winked at you making you grin.
“Biggest turn-off?” He asked.
“Rudeness.. I can not stand rude people.” With an approving expression, he nodded You sighed loudly. as he slowed for another red light making him laugh.
“This is like the third red light, diva.” He joked.
“Of this drive, The 136th one of the day though.” Your rebuttal made him laugh “Have you ever sent nudes?”
He chuckled nervously “Yes. You?”
“Yes.”
He raised his eyebrows. “Interesting…” you scrunched your lips as your cheeks turned pink. He smiled
“Who would you haunt if you were a ghost?”
“Either Jared or Misha. Yeah, I see your point that would be fun.” he chuckled as he slowed down for the red light. Your cheeks got hot as he kissed your cheek. “Almost there darlin’.” he turned left onto County Line Rd 1492 ‘ What smell do you hate that doesn’t seem to bother other people?”
“Patchouli.” you scrunched your nose. “I can’t stand that smell.” he chuckled.
“Now, don’t take this the wrong way, Ackles.”
“Um ok?”
“I’m not asking, never mind. I’ll ask something else.”.
He smiled. “Just ask the question.” He said turning left onto Winn Valley Dr.
“Fine. Would you ever get married again?” His face went blank. “See it’s weird we can move on.”
“Honestly. It depends.” he said as he drove through the open-ended cul-de-sac.“I’m not opposed to it, but I couldn’t just going to jump into it. There would be a lot of thought put into it.” He looked at you. “Does that make any sense?” he nervously chuckled.
“Yes.” You look over to see a sign. “Ranch Madrone?” You knitted your brows at him.
“You’ll see.” He continued down the road. “Last question. How are you with heights?”
You looked at him with a puzzled look. “Really? That's your last question?” He pointed to a say that read Wimberley Zipline Adventures. Your heart started pounding “We are zip-lining now?!”
“You up for it cowgirl?” He said with a grin
“Oh hell yeah!!.”
Incorrect Scarlet and Violet Quotes Part 3
Guess who still has a bunch of these sitting in a document?
Juliana: Happiness is like rainbows! If you see one, you smile because it’s so colorful! Sometimes, you get two and you get double happy!! :D
Kieran: Sometimes, you always get none even after watching so many rainy days you just stop and you just sit there, disappointed that no matter your effort, happiness doesn’t want you and life just truly hates you.
Penny: *calling a therapist*
Kieran, at the beginning of Teal Mask: *looks like a cinnamon roll, is a cinnamon roll*
Kieran, at the end of Teal Mask: *looks like a cinnamon roll, could kill you*
Kieran, at the beginning of Indigo Disk: *looks like he could kill you, could definitely kill you*
Kieran, at the end of Indigo Disk: *looks like he could kill you, is a cinnamon roll*
*if Nemona was a waitress*
Nemona: Okay, guys, who wanted the macaroni and bees?
Everyone, at the table: …
Arven: …You mean cheese, right?
Nemona, struggling to keep the bowl covered: That does make more sense, actually—
Juliana, barging into Penny’s room, pushing in a wheelbarrow with Nemona in it: PENNY! NEMONA’S DEAD!
Penny: *gasps*
Nemona, getting up: That’s right! Dead serious about going to Disneyland!!
Penny: *groans*
Florian, about to leave Naranja/Uva Academy: Don’t spend all day watching anime, okay?
Penny: I forge my own path!
Clavell, tired: I’d like to live through one week in this school that’s not a whole new verse of ‘We Didn’t Start the Fire’.
Yukito, meeting Juliana for the first time: Oh, is this the girl your always telling me about, Kieran?
Kieran, nervously chuckling: AHA, Grandma! Stop making things up!
Yukito: She’s even prettier in person—
Kieran, opening a window and jumping out: Okay gotta run, bye!
Arven: Just when I thought Nemona couldn’t get any weirder, I saw her trying to write three different essays at the same time.
Arven: She was taking one essay at a time and writing a few sentences before moving onto the next.
Carmine: I think I’m getting sick, I’m losing my voice.
Juliana: That means you can’t yell at us anymore!
*later*
Juliana: Turns out Carmine is a lot scarier when she’s quiet.
Kieran: Do you think we could ever be… more than friends?
Juliana, beaming: I AM SO GLAD YOU ASKED! I can totally see us as Pokémon! I even drew a picture, let me go ge—
Carmine: I keep a picture of all of us in my wallet. Whenever I face difficulties, I take it out and look at the picture.
The squad: Aww.
Carmine: And then I tell myself ‘If I can deal with these idiots, then I can deal with anything’.
The squad: Oh.
Arven: Did you get the eggs like I asked?
Nemona: Even better!
Arven: What did you do?
Nemona, holding up a chicken: Her name is Fluffy.
Kieran: What are you? Two?
Drayton: Yeah, two heads taller than you!
Kieran: *inhales deeply*
*5 minutes later*
Kieran: OPEN THE DOOR, YOU COWARD!!
Drayton: I WAS JUST JOKING! Juliana, calling Penny: Can you come pick me up? I think I’m lost…
Penny: I swear, if you got lost playing Pokémon Go—
Juliana: I caught an Eevee. If you pick me up, I’ll name it Penny.
Penny: I’m on my way!!
*when Juliana first meets Kieran again in Blueberry Academy*
Juliana: *going in to hug Kieran*
Kieran: *pushes her away and assumes a fighting stance*
Juliana: Hey, why’d you push me???
Kieran: I thought you were going to attack me.
Juliana: I was going to hug you!
Kieran, narrowing his eyes: Why would you hug me?
Juliana: WHY WOULD I ATTACK YOU?!
And that’s the end of part 3!! I still have so many quotes so there will probably be a part 4 in the future. (I swear I’ll post more than just incorrect quotes but they are just really fun to write lol.)
With Good Intentions (Chapter Three) ☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚
(Chapter One) (Chapter Two) Masterlist A03
➥pairings: MC & Everyone, MC/Everyone ➥content warnings: Not Beta Read, We Cook Our Stories Like Solomon, Hurt/Comfort, Angst, Fluff, Some Humor, Explicit Language, Not Canon Compliant, Though Sometimes It Is, Fighting, Family Drama, Family Bonding, Emotional Manipulation, Reader-Insert, Gender-Neutral Pronouns, Lesson 016 Spoilers, Post Lesson 016, Other Additional Tags To Be Added. ➥summary: after the events of chapter 16, MC learns three important lessons: one, that Diavolo is an asshole. Two, as it turns out, being immortal doesn't make you smarter, wiser, or mature, it just gives you a thousand more chances to be a fuck up and not learn and damn thing from it. And three, that there are no therapists in hell. Though they could really all use one. Or in which MC suffers an existential breakdown and Diavolo and the brothers learn that maybe throwing a party wasn't the best response to someone dying. ➥A/N: hello everyone, it's good to see you again. I hope everyone is doing well and whether you're a return reader or just getting started, thank you for your interest in my story. Work has been kicking my ass, but still we persevere! Anyway, until next time, take care and enjoy this very long chapter.
He could tell his brothers grew tired of it. That whenever the topic of their sister was brought up, Belphegor always felt an underlining exasperation, as if they’d all been over the subject for some time and were only waiting for him to do the same, as if she were nothing more than a ghost who’d overstayed her welcome in the rebuilding of their lives.
Or maybe they were just tired of him. Tired of his whining about her. Tired of his disgust for Diavolo’s ideals. Tired of his hatred of all things human. He barely smiled, barely ate, and slept for most of the day. He wasn’t the “sweet, innocent Belphie” they knew and loved. The one who found wonder in everything around him and whose laugh, though rare now, lit entire rooms. No, something within Belphegor was broken and they’d have to accept that it would never be whole again. Not without Lilith.
But who said death was pleasant? That it was something one should simply get over? Loss never leaves one gentle. It doesn’t decide to remove itself after a month, a year, or centuries after. It stays with you, becoming part of you. Some days it gives you the illusion of respite and on those days you go through life barely noticing the quiet, emptiness of it all.
Yet on other days, it breaks you, leaves you shaking and crying, wishing for your thoughts to cease so you can finally be “normal” again. Grief, also like loss, never comes when the moment is decent, does not give you warning. Grief strikes when it chooses to, replaying the moment of your loss ad nauseam, until the whole of you becomes nothing but a shell of memories, wading away to the tides of time.
Most days Belphegor remembered Lilith. Sometimes it seemed he was the only one who did. He remembered her in lunchrooms when the desserts were particularly sweet. He remembered her in corridors, the kind they’d both raced down as fast as they could. He remembered her in dreams, luring him into the forests they used to play in, with trees as high as the sky and where the wind swept through and made waves of shimmering sunshine. In the distance would be Lilith, the years waning upon her memory, yet she waved as she always did, an insult to every petal, every ray of sun. He would run to her, feel the tears wetting his cheeks, his tongue tripping over her name over and over again: Lilith. Lilith. I’m here. Please.
He remembered blood. Too much of it. The kind that no matter how much you scrubbed yourself raw, the stench would remain clung to you like death. The fall was not a pleasant one; they did not streak across the skies like beautiful jewels, they were burning, dying. The landing nearly killed them, sent the earth running each and which way in disgust of them.
How through it all even the Father, no matter how hard they prayed, was always silent. Maybe he too, saw what was to become of them, and closed his heart and ears to it. It was easier, at least for Belphegor, to believe that he’d simply abandoned them, rather than knowingly allow the pain that would scar them for centuries to come.
The Celestial Realm had no seasons, but on days when the light was mild and winds smooth for flight, Belphegor and Lilith would sneak amongst the forests, finding shelter under the tall, dense trees. For Raphael, who’d come to search for them in time, the siblings were abandoning their duties, but for Belphegor and Lilith, it was simply a break, albeit a long one.
“Oh, Belphie, he’s simply divine."
Divine. An odd choice of words for a mortal, yet Lilith thought otherwise, not that Belphegor knew enough to object. After all, he’d just learned of the man’s existence a few moons ago, and what he knew was only through her words of him. He wasn’t rich by any means. His family tended animals and sold what they could in the town market. There was a time when the family lived well, but some of the animals were stricken with disease or killed by wolves, and they suffered greatly for it. Even so, this man had “a spirit worth more than all the wealth in the world,” she exclaimed. That despite his awful predicament, he made a way for his family, taking on various forms of labor to keep them fed.
"He's very skilled with his hands." Lilith winked, to which Belphegor pretended to gag. Relations between humans and angels were not unheard of, but ones with the image of his sister he'd rather scrub from memory.
In any case, this man could "literally do anything" and Belphegor sat in awe of this. If all this were true, then Lilith found someone beyond any human he could think of.
Belphegor watched as she twirled about, nearly skipping in her joy, her long hair unfretted and chasing the wind. She was led by a tune only she could hear, her dress gathering at the thick of her sun-kissed legs.
“He’s so polite, a true gentleman,” said Lilith. “He picks me flowers, opens doors, and by Father is he handsome.” She sighed lovingly and clasped her hands against her flushing cheeks. “He could give Lucifer a run for his money, you know?
Belphegor snorted. "A man as beautiful as Lucifer is surely a sight to behold."
"It's true, you know," she said, ignoring his skepticism. "That and he’s strong. Can tend a whole field before sundown without breaking a sweat. Why, I saw him raise two goats on each shoulder and…”
Belphegor rolled his eyes. Though he had no reason to doubt her, his sister found ways to bolster the human past the point of believability, at times. Extravagant. Amazing. Beguiling. Was it even possible that so many adjectives could describe one person? Yet Lilith went on, singing the praises of this fabled man she’d found such importance in.
“He’s just so…so…you understand, don’t you Belphie? How interesting and unique they can be?”
He did. Belphegor loved humans. He found them special, more than most creatures. It was their mundane everyday ways. It was the way they sought purpose from them. It was how they loved and celebrated and burned away life until none was left. Compared to angels, who were created and bound to fates unchanging, mortals were born with the blessing of choice, and it fascinated Belphegor what they did with it. So he watched and soon enough, went to gather in their joy. However, it wasn’t long until his curiosity prompted Lilith’s own, and the young angel began to visit the human realm of her own volition.
While Belphegor didn't fully understand his sister’s ways, he couldn’t help but be drawn into her joy. She’d been struck by Cupid’s arrow, trapped in an endless spring. It’d been beautiful to witness, and while such things didn’t strike him as important before, Belphegor couldn’t help but think of his love, whenever or wherever that might be.
“Belphie, are you even listening to me?”
“Hmm?” He said, led from his thoughts. “What was that?”
“I said Lucifer plans to meet him.”
Belphegor shrugged. “Well, so much for that.”
“I’m serious, Belphie!” She stamped her foot, pouting. “You know how big brother is.”
“Maybe he’ll like him,” Belphegor assured, swallowing his lie. Lucifer wasn’t the best at being impartial, especially when it came to Lilith. She was the youngest, barely new to the world, and he’d sooner have her wrapped up and tucked away than allow any harm to come to her. This man she’d found, without his or any of her sibling's knowledge, was an anomaly, a blind spot in Lucifer’s ever-watchful eye.
“Honestly, he’s always so worried. I told him there was no need, but he insisted.” Lilith’s face fell, eyes widening to some unfounded fate. “What if he doesn’t like him? What if he forbids me from seeing him? Tries to lock me away, key and all? Then what am I to do? I’d have to change my name, hide amongst the humans. We’d be outlaws. Fugitives!"
“Lilly!” Belphegor laughed. She always had a flare for the dramatics. “It’s ok. Lucifer is strict, but I’m sure he’ll come to see him as you do.”
“Do you really think so?”
“I’m sure of it…probably.”
“Oh, you!” she swatted at the air between them. “But you know, maybe you’re right. After all, Lucifer would never do anything to upset me, considering I’m his favorite and all,” she said in a snobbish tone. Lucifer spoiled her. They all spoiled her, really, and it seemed to be rubbing off.
But there was one question Belphegor failed to ask. The most important of them all. “Does he have a name?”
Lilith smiled. “Of course he does, silly. H̵̸̷̶̸̨̡̘̯͇̾̀͋̓̍i̶̴̷̶̷̥̠̬̖͖̋͐̄̎͆s̵̶̷̵̵̢͈̟͕̝̊̌̅̾͒ ̷̵̶̸̵̱͕̦͕͕͑̓̀̍͠n̴̸̸̴̶͈͍͍̯̳̎͛͂̄̏à̵̷̷̷̴͚̟͈̲̃̑̍̾͜m̷̵̵̶̷͉̗̜̗̻̓̀̽̀͝e̴̶̸̷̵͔̻̜̳̣̽̃̋͑͠ ̴̷̵̶̸̧̰̲͙̺̀̃̐͗͑i̶̷̴̷̴͎̪̳̫̬̔́͐̈́͝ş̵̴̴̶̵̠͕̰͕͗̅̅͋̕…̴̷̸̶̵̯͚̲̯̺͐͌̑̔͠
“Lucifer! Please, tell them. Tell them they can’t do this!”
Belphegor turned to his brother, who looked as if the world was ending and there was no way to prevent it.
The Father spoke through Michael: Lilith had committed the unpardonable sin, one in which there was no forgiveness. She would be wiped from the face of existence, never to be a part of the cycle of creation again. All this for stealing a fruit, though it was said a simple apple led to Eve’s downfall; what difference would there be for his sister?
Belphegor dug his nails into his palms, neck burning with heat. The Father had refused them council, choosing to lay His judgment through the only other angel he abused more than Lucifer. Did He truly not care for them? Was fighting His battles and upholding His will all they were good for?
“The Father’s word is final,” Michael’s voice was calm, yet short. “Lucifer knows this as well as I do.”
“So you expect us to stand aside and allow our sister to face a fate so cruel?”
“Belphie, please,” Lilith cried, shaking. “It does not matter my end—“
“—But it does matter. You matter.” Belphegor pointed at her with angered assertion. “Not some mortal who was fated to die sooner than you are to blink.”
“Our brother is right, Lilith.” Leviathan shook his head as if trying to unravel what was happening. “Your actions…they make no sense.”
“No,” Lilith spoke, “what makes no sense is a Father who would sit and watch while death and sickness run rampant throughout his creation while having the power to prevent it.”
“How dare she’s” and “heresies” spiraled into the air, forming a tornado of indignation that grew louder and more violent with the need for retribution. Belphegor sneered at the angels who formed a ring of judgment around his sister. It was hard to believe that at one time any of them could be called his brothers and sisters.
“Enough.” It was Raphael, who, unlike Michael, held little reservations in his approach to an otherwise dire situation. “You stand amongst the divine court. Your blasphemy will not be tolerated.”
“Ah, can it,” yelled out Mammon. Someone gasped from the crowd. “You threaten the life of our sister. You better believe we’re gonna cause more than just a ruckus.”
Belphegor looked to Lilith, his eyes imploring her, though there was no answer she could give that would make any sense to him. “Even if he didn’t die today,” he said, “he would’ve died regardless. What then? Why risk your eternity for something so finite?”
Lilith parted her lips as if to form some half-uttered verb. Then she began again, though her mouth did not quiver. She stilled her face, hardened her lips, and spoke her words simply, “For the life of the one I love, I would do anything.”
Belphegor winced, his sister’s words a slap in the face. He would be angry if only there wasn’t so much to go around. What about their love? As if theirs hadn’t outlived kingdoms for her. What love could a being of such little potential possibly give?
It was Beelzebub’s turn to speak, pain shaking his voice. “But…what about us? How could you be so willing to leave us here to grieve you?”
Lilith was quiet, her face turned to some far, distant place. Belphegor wanted to shake her, to wake her from this eternal dream of love that did nothing but harm her.
“There has to be something we can do,” Asmodeus spoke, looking desperately at Michael. “It can’t end like this.”
“And just what do you plan to do to avoid her judgment?” Raphael’s eyebrow rose with his question. “Are any of you willing to take her place?”
They all looked at each other. Not in fear of Raphael’s words, but because neither of them could see themselves as the Father’s children, the remains of their allegiance shattered and pooled in the pit of their stomachs. In the end, what they gained for their loyalty was death, but they would not go without a fight. Finally, Lucifer stepped forward. It was clear to Belphegor that something inside his brother shattered, too. Not broken, but free.
“If the father’s word is law,” he said, “then maybe such laws should be challenged.”
“Be mindful of your next words, brother.” Michael stood with all the caution of a vigilant lion. “Think of the lives of your siblings. Of what you’re sacrificing.”
Lucifer stood, clearly battling himself. Belphegor only wished to know what his brother and Michael were thinking then. Both were close, so much so that they could be mistaken for twins. Maybe they both wanted to see something in the other that was no longer there. By then, Belphegor and his brothers gathered beside the morning star, unwavering. It was clear where their loyalties lay and always would.
As if in understanding, Michael sighed, and drew his blade as if the entire issue were a mere inconvenience. “Don’t make us do this, Lucifer.” Raphael, however, had already summoned his spears.
“You all still have the chance to repent in front of the Father. This will not go without punishment, however.”
“And Lilith?” Asmodeus said, his voice almost hopeful.
“She will leave this plane in peace.”
The once favored son of morning yanked his blade from his sheath and with it t̸̵̵̵̵͙̼̫̗̥̉́̇̈́̈́h̸̶̸̴̴͚͖̥̗̖̊̾̄̒̕e̶̶̸̸̸̻͈͍̗̱͒̆͊̋̒ ̸̵̶̵̵̜̥̭͎̝̑̓̓̀̾h̷̸̶̴̸͓̠͙̹̤͌̄̈́̂̚ḙ̷̸̷̷̸̢̯͖̄̂͂̾̾͜ȧ̴̶̷̴̷̩̯͓̤͋̄͊̍͜v̶̷̸̶̷̧͙̺͇͔̓̇̽̆̔e̴̴̸̴̶̢̖͍̰̫͊̍̔̉̉ņ̶̶̷̴̵̻̣̹͗͊̉͆̎ͅs̴̵̴̵̴̝̻͚̟̖̆́̇̇͠ ̶̸̵̸̶̨̩̞̗̖͒̊̀́̓c̸̴̶̶̶̬̼͎̱͔̈́̏̑͂̑r̶̷̷̴̵̯͚̫͕̳̓̽͂͐͝ĩ̶̶̸̶̷̺̙̠̰͖̏́͆͘e̸̴̸̵̷̹̰͉̫̠̓͌̆̃͂d̸̴̶̶̵̨̻͉̮͕́̈́̈̽̈́.̷̷̵̸̴͓̱̲̘͖̑̓͒̾̕ ̴̸̸̷̴̙̬͉̱͗̉͂̀͂ͅ
Not once had Belphegor known the smell of blood until that day. It ranked of rusted metal, and it took all within him not to vomit in the middle of battle. An angel he once played with amongst the lilacs of the Celestial Garden fell limp, a sword thrust through his chest. Mammon had done so without hesitation and proceeded to chop the head of another, his strokes quick like thunder strikes.
A scream, this time from his right. It was Beel caked in a thick carnage of blood and feathers. He’d torn through their attempt at a flank, their weapons barely grazing him as he ripped wings from flesh, bodies spiraling towards the earth.
“Look out!” Asmodeus yelled, his shield snapping against metal. Belphegor leaped to the side, a beam of light zipping downward where his body would’ve been, leaving a hole of ozone in its wake. Belphegor raised his bow in return, his arm unsteady. Shakily, he aimed, barely managing to wound the angel who’d gunned for his head.
The realm was drowned in chaos. A frenzy of limbs and wings dancing to the tune of annihilation. He’d only seen Lucifer once, his body burning white as he bathed the battlefield with righteous fury, sending angel after angel toward their doom. Belphegor had only heard stories of Leviathan’s skills in battle; it was another thing to see him flay a throne alive.
“Lilith,” he heard Mammon cry.
“I’m ok,” she called back. A twang of metal after. “Just focus on yourself.”
So many voices, Belphegor thought. It was hard to keep his bearings. He was nowhere near a child of war. He’d never honed a weapon or raised it against another. His purpose was that of a virtue, to spread the word that with faith and hard work, one would gain ever closer to what was promised. But his life had been so easily tossed aside, his diligence made nothing. And now that one was threatened and the other gone, what then would become of him? Of his brothers? For a moment, he stilled, unable to focus on the battle at hand. It was as if all the air had left him, his breaths jagged and choking.
“Belphie!” Beelzebub’s voice rumbled. Belphegor squinted his eyes toward the sky. It was hard to make them out at first, little glints of sunshine that they were, yet as they drew closer, Belphegor saw the sharpened hatred of a thousand arrows bearing down towards him. He turned.
“Lilith,” Belphegor wailed. She’d been near him, maybe trying to call out to him, for that he’d never know. By then the first arrow struck her wing, then another, piercing through her flesh as her body flailed unnaturally. Beelzebub leaped towards him, tucking him deep into his grasp as they fell downward.
From above them rang a cry so loud that it shattered the noise. Lucifer broke through the sky like a roaring flame, barreling downward towards his sister. It was then Mammon who fell after him, then Leviathan, then finally, Asmodeus. Belphegor’s ears filled with a humming static, the world becoming focused and pin-like. He willed his head to gaze at Lilith. She hurdled downward, specks of ash trailing the air as her wings caught flame. With arm outstretched, he reached for her, ţ̴̶̸̷̶̨̛̠̖̤̈́̔̋̌ḫ̸̷̶̴̵̬͉̞̗͑͋̈́̅͝e̵̶̵̷̷̼̮̝̿̀͑̓͗͜͜ ̶̶̶̶̴͓̘͓͎̼̾̋͒̏͝w̸̸̴̷̵̨͈̼̯̞̉̆͆̒̌ơ̶̵̸̷̶͖̠̬͈̻̈́̓̎̽r̴̸̸̴̵͕̘͚̬̩̾̍̑͒̕l̷̵̷̶̸͕̱̜̯̙̑̈̂̎͠d̵̴̶̶̷̡̰̼͇̊̑́̒̾͜ ̵̸̶̷̸̳͙̭̱̂̍͋̓͘͜f̵̶̶̸̷̙̪̘̟̙̊̽͂̾̕ǎ̵̴̸̴̶̪̰̣̳̫̌̓͛̚d̸̶̸̴̴̻̪̘͇̻̒̅͆̀͛ḯ̷̶̴̴̵͙͇̞̲̜̽̈́͆̔n̶̶̴̵̶͇̲̭̰̻̍̾̑͂͘ǧ̷̶̷̶̶̡̺̪̻̦̃̃͌͝ ̶̵̶̶̴͇̗̠͉̣̍̀̆̂̐
“What?”
"̸͓͛W̴̵̻̒͝a̴̖̓t̴͔͝?̸̢̓"̵̢̒
“Come again?”
“I said have you calmed down yet?”
Calmed down. As if he were a child who’d thrown a tantrum and was placed in time-out.
“What do you mean?” Belphegor gazed at Lucifer through hair-draped eyes, annoyed at being interrupted by what would’ve been a critical moment of his performance. He’d begun talking to himself. Wasn’t sure when it started, yet if only to break the monotony of his current tenure. In his mind, Belphegor was the sole performer on a brightly lit stage. In front of him, his audience, cheering for his one-night, one-man show.
Ladies and Gentlemen, he’d say, on behalf of the entire circus troupe, I welcome you to one of the most astounding shows you will ever see! I promise you, it will be something truly special, like a wonderful, fleeting vision—“
“--Belphie?” Lucifer called to him.
Oh, right. This asshole. “What?”
“What is it with you in needing things repeated?” Lucifer said. “I told you to use your time in here to calm down and rethink what you said earlier.”
Belphegor spat, rolling his eyes to some corner of the room. If one were to ask his brother, locking Belphegor away was done for his protection. That it was love, not pride or sick devotion, which forced his hand that day. If not by Lucifer, then Diavolo, and if the rumors regarding the castle’s torture dungeon were true, therein lied the many ways of subjecting the seventh born to a fate worse than boredom. If anything, he should be grateful that the only current threat to his health was the admitted lack of ventilation and an idle mind.
Yet if one were to ask Belphegor, he would’ve gladly accepted torture just to spite him, the unyielding screams of the forsaken a welcomed company compared to the horrid solitude of being trapped in a fucking attic.
“In that case, I’m going to be stuck in here forever,” Belphegor said. “Because there’s no way I’m ever going to take back what I said. No way am I ever going to change my mind.”
He was adamant then, on his hatred of humans. The day he learned of Lilith’s death, from Diavolo of all people, was the day any ounce of empathy he had died with him. Once again, the prince would prove to be a never-ending red stain on his sister’s life. Even after death, he found ways to dishonor her memory, if not through the subjugation of his brothers, then through the announcement of his shitty exchange program, one that Belphegor vehemently denounced. Yet Lucifer, being the boot licker he was, had other plans. It was hard to tell how many days passed since then, let alone how long Lucifer planned to keep him here.
Lucifer sighed and gazed over at the canopied bed. Belphegor had found a few Christmas ornaments packed amongst the attic’s boxes--a nutcracker, a gingerbread man, and a tiny reindeer--to act as his makeshift audience. In noticing Lucifer’s quizzical look, Belphegor hissed, literally hissed, at him in embarrassment.
“Oh, calm yourself,” Lucifer said, stifling his amusement with a cough, remembering that the moment was supposed to be serious. Hell forbid it was anything less. “Regardless, we’ve gone ahead and chosen the second student from the human world.”
“Really…Well, that’s awful news,” Belphegor said, stomping over to his bed and smothering his audience with gathered sheets, his skin heated.
“This time it’s not a powerful, elite sorcerer like Solomon, but a regular, average human.” “And why are you telling me this? I’m not interested in hearing about any hu…”
Belphegor’s smile was wide. “Actually, wait. Maybe that’s not true. Bring that human to me right away, Lucifer. I’ll tear them to shreds so tiny that there won’t be anything left of the body or soul when I’m done.”
Maybe being tucked away inside that large castle of his made the prince a bit dull-minded. Solomon was deemed one of the most powerful magic users in the world, one who—without even raising a hand—could turn even the strongest demon to ash.
But a regular human with no power and no way to defend themselves? It was as if the universe simply hated this human, one that would surely shit themselves after being summoned out of thin air to a realm, as far as they knew, should not exist and amongst beings that only lived amongst the pages of their various religions and stories. It was a tragedy waiting to happen and one Belphegor, with quivering hands, planned to bring forward.
“If this precious student from the human world were to meet an end like that,” Belphegor went on, “it would bring this little exchange program to a screeching halt, wouldn’t it? And what’s more, there’s no telling what it might do to Diavolo’s reputation.”
Lucifer observed him with a sort of veiled heatedness. It was clear his tantrum held little weight, but would end it if needed.
“Oh, I know. If you refuse to bring that human to me, then I’ll call them here myself,” Belphegor clasped his hands together, pleased with his plan. “I may not be able to get out of here, but I can certainly lure a single human half-wit to me without much trouble.”
“Impossible,” Lucifer spoke in a matter-of-fact tone.
“And why’s that?” Belphegor raised his brow, his unease growing.
“The door to this room can only be seen by demons. It’s invisible to humans. Also, I put a curse on the stairs leading up here so that no demon other than me can climb them. No one will ever find you, and no one will ever know you’re here, be they human, or demon, or any other creature.”
Of course. Leave it to Mr. Kill Joy to take the fun out of homicide.
Belphegor’s face slumped, sucking his teeth. “You’ve taken quite the precautions, haven’t you? I’m touched that you’d go to such lengths for me, your good for nothing brother.” Lucifer was taller, about a few inches so, but Belphegor met his gaze all the same. “What exactly are you so afraid of Lucifer?”
“I’m afraid of losing my brother,” Lucifer said, quickly and without a hint of dishonesty.
“No, I don’t think that’s it,” Belphegor said. He wouldn’t allow it. To feel sympathy for the devil. Not after losing what mattered most, and what may’ve been his only chance to correct it. He needed to be the one hurting in this situation and needed Lucifer to be as one-dimensional as possible. “What scares you is the thought of disappointing Diavolo, isn’t it?”
Lucifer was…silent. For what, Belphegor wasn’t sure. Was the answer truly that complicated? Maybe there wasn’t anything more to his brother. Maybe he had become nothing more than a loyal lap dog.
Belphegor pounded his foot against the attic’s ancient floorboards, them rattling as if to collapse. “Say something Lucifer,” he yelled. “The old Lucifer wasn’t like this. He wasn’t afraid of what someone else thought of him. He wasn’t pathetic like that.”
“You’re free to think whatever you want, Belphegor. Also…” Lucifer turned towards the attic door, his voice low and solemn, “I’d say you changed as well.”
“Lucifer!” Yet Lucifer would never turn. Never question any part of himself that held weakness.
As the bars to the attic room clanked shut, Belphegor heard his brother’s footsteps trek down the towering staircase and into the house. Once again, he was left alone, spiraling into the silence of the attic.
He wouldn’t mind being tortured at all. Not at the glint of the blade as it sliced his flesh. Not at the blood that pooled from his wounds. Not even as his limbs were torn from his body or flayed alive. The rush of pain and paranoia would keep him, startlingly, sound. At least then he could see what harmed him. Give it a name, his fury. Tell himself that logically, it was ok to cry, scream, and lash about as he was now, smashing mirrors and ripping pillows to shreds.
But in this attic, this fucking horrible attic, there was no one to blame, and it left Belphegor with only his thoughts, screaming over and over: It’s your fault. It’s always been
your fault
YOUR FAULT
It’s always been
≪•◦ ❈ ◦•≫ ≪•◦ ❈ ◦•≫ ≪•◦ ❈ ◦•≫
Not my fault. It’s not my fault!
It was a lie, of course. Your death was in motion the moment you appeared in front of him, doe-eyed and disturbingly lax for someone in your position. For all Lucifer’s scheming, he’d forgotten one fine detail: that idleness didn’t weaken sloth, but enabled it.
But it is, Belphie. It's what you did.
He didn't think you were dumb enough to believe his story. A human "just like you" who'd been captured and trapped by Lucifer, yet you proved otherwise. Even when his true identity was revealed, you continued to help him as if the threat hadn't shown itself. Things were moving about too easily; the universe truly did hate you.
No that's not...I did it for you. For us.
Admittedly, he'd wrestled in the corners of his mind about it. Argued until there was nothing left to argue. A part of him had grown to like you, strange, dull-headed thing that you were, but if he weren't to kill you, what then? Would he live his life, seeing you coddle up to his brothers? Eat from their plates and take part in their celebrations? Would you somehow charm Diavolo and have the rest of your ilk invade here? Hell forbid the fools began to fall in love with you, then he’d have to bear witness to some half-assed love story, and that he couldn't live with. So he stilled it down. Beat back the part of him that doubted his conviction. This was for Lilith, always for Lilith, and nothing more.
Oh Belphie, you knew I never wanted this. This was always about you. This was your revenge.
How he killed you was deliberate, too. Strangulation was one of the more intimate forms of death one could give. To do so was to be conscious of your victim’s suffering and to take pleasure in it, having the power of life and death weighted within one’s grip. Humans were fragile. Anything more than disembowelment would be too quick and he needed you to feel it. To know how little your life meant as he wrung every inch of it from you.
Please, I'm sorry. I didn’t know. Didn’t know what they were to you.
He admits enjoying it, laughing as the confusion mangled your face. It didn’t take much to knock you on your back, even less to pin you down. You were so weak. How you managed to survive this long was merely incompetence on his brother’s part. They were fools, too cowardly to do what needed to be done. But not him. He’d end your life and soon any hope of continuing this miserable sham of a program.
It’s not about what they were to me, Belphie. You took a life. And you can never take that back.
You withered and flailed beneath him, trying to lift yourself to no avail. A numbing high swept over Belphegor as he took it all in. The beating of your heart, the sound of wheezing lungs, the sweat that drenched your brow, the bright red of your blood. All the colors and sounds bled into a final point until he was overcome with it, twisting, clenching, enamored in the hues of your dying face. Your eyes bulged and the quakes of your death throes rumbled the floorboards. You clung to him, nails scraping the skin of his wrists. When that didn’t work, you clawed for his eyes. The desperation. The fury. He could laugh, so he does, slamming your head into the floor when you attempt to swipe at his face. Your head bounces forward, then goes limp, throat giving way to a sick crunch. He squeezes tighter, breaking through bone, through artery.
Finally, you stilled and so does he.
He assumed your death would be less monotonous, the fires of euphoria dwindling into barely an ember. A cold realization sweeps over him, sending his body to chill and his empathy to reanimate. No, he won't allow weakness. Not a moment for remorse or sorrow. He shakes them from his mind, putting it up to shock and nothing more.
He gazed at his hands, flexing them, feeling like an outsider in his own body. He sits in silence. The attic does not answer with its usual hum of wood. The house does not creak. Instead, it engulfs him in a sea of quiet, and for a moment he wades in it. Hearing his heart, his breathing, the tiny hiss of air that escapes you. For some reason, he cannot will himself to look at you longer. Your face is uncannily calm, though your neck is twisted into unrecognition, the flesh bruised and mangled.
Now, there was nothing left, but still so much to be done. He wrings you by the collar of your shirt, and it seems an eternity before he reaches the attic door. The attic steps feel smaller and out of focus, the house halls a labyrinth. He’d almost forgotten where the main entrance lay until he heard his brothers, their voices joined in a chorus of "where are they?" and "They should be" and "could be." It's the only time he smiles. Not for his brothers, though it was Beel he missed most, but because he finally, finally would have his audience.
Slowly, as he reaches the landing of the stairway, a thought inches forward. Yet this one he couldn’t shake away. Over and over it repeats itself, almost pleading:
Oh, Belphie.
Belphie.
Belphegor lurched forward, sweat chilling him to the bone. His dreams were becoming too vivid for his liking. In the corner of his eye sat a large figure, blanketed in the cover of darkness. He blinked. Was he still dreaming?
“What...I...Beel?” He spoke, gasping for breath. How long had he been sitting there?
“It's ok,” Beelzebub said. He sat on the edge of Belphegor’s bed, stroking his shoulder as if to still the chills away. “You had a bad dream.”
“It wasn’t a dream,” Belphegor choked, words rushing from his mouth,” I did it I did all of it I killed Lilith and then I killed them and I…I…“
“Just breathe, Belphie.” But there was nothing Beelzebub could say or do, only wait until the torturous spell was over.
Belphegor placed his hand to his chest, heart beating as if it were going to burst from him and go running off into the world.
In and out. In and out. It didn't help his breathing much, but it made him focus on something other than the panic. Everything felt so heavy like the sky had fallen upon his shoulders.
"It's all...my fault," Belphegor heaved, “my fault.”
In a way, he should be grateful. Lilith lived a long, happy life and that’s all he could ask for. Still, it all felt like a dream and in that moment, he’d forgotten where he was. That the Devildom, despite its idiosyncrasies, was a punishment. That they were damned and whatever fate held for them was often cruel and rarely giving. He knew they were uncomfortable at the party, could feel their quickened breaths rising in an off-tune chorus of sheltered panic. He should’ve helped them, walked them through their spell. Instead, he froze, feeling the judgment heavy in the room, the waves of anger and disappointment hitting him in a heated haze. He watched you run away and with it, his redemption.
“That’s not true, Belphie. Don't blame yourself. If anything...” Beelzebub paused, and Belphegor listened between breaths for the words that never came.
He was about to blame himself again, he thought, yet he could not will himself to assure him otherwise, his breaths still too quick and sharp. Instead, Belphegor buried himself into his twin. If he could not use words, he’d use his actions. Surely Beel, who wrapped his brother in a tight hug, would understand him. Beelzebub, after all, was but a wall to Belphegor’s emotions. Allowing his tears and agony to fall upon him, but never breaking himself. Instead, Beelzebub sat in silence, and together, they rocked each other through the darkness, waiting on the morning hours to break the curse that was Belphegor’s anguish.
Surely, you’d forgive him, he thought. That night at the party meant nothing. That disgusted look you gave him meant nothing.
Tonight we're highlighting @chairofchaos!
🔥 Choas is a masterful Azris writer that has our hearts in her hands. If you're looking for something delightfully angsty or heartfelt (or both), look no further than her writing.
Although all of her work is amazing, we're currently crying over Letters of Love, which details Eris and Azriel falling in love and their relationship over time. Definitely get some tissues for this one. 😭😭And if you can't take our word for it take one of her fans:
The Letters of Love series has me spellbound in a way I can not describe. The love, the angst, the writing! I will forever cherish it. Chaos is truly a wonderful writer even if she is chaotic and I will devour this series until the end of time.
Be sure to check out their masterlist, including this Azris drabble!
Read on to learn some of Chaos's favorite Eris headcanons and which national/regional park Eris would get lost and die (or not die) in.
yes. we asked this.
Give us a name for one of Eris’ Brothers
James (so that he can use the “Um. James…” TikTok sound. A modern Eris would secretly have a TikTok. Super secret, but he would have one). Also, a relatively modern name simply because I’m tired of trying to get my word processor to recognize the validity of “Eris” and “Feyre” and even “Elain.” (No, do not add an “e”. I said, DO NOT ADD AN “E”!)
Give us a name for one of Eris’ hounds
Butter. Eris named him as a child because the hound liked to steal things off the kitchen counter, and the first thing he ever stole was a stick of butter. Eris got in a little trouble for it, so the official story is that his fur was lighter than is typical for a smokehound, and smooth like butter. The truth is that he fell in love with the little thief, and wanted to commemorate that first occurrence of thievery. It was a subtle act of rebellion on Eris’ part, and the chef was not pleased when he heard.
Give us some of your favorite Eris headcanons!
Eris is the family secret keeper. His mother tells him things. Lucien tells him things. His other brothers don’t mean to tell him things, but they drop hints and he’s smart enough to put things together. He goes unnoticed by adults as a young person, and is able to gather more information than anyone thought was possible. In doing so, he accidentally positions himself as knowledgeable on many family and court matters he probably shouldn’t even have known about in the first place. People also have a habit of just sharing things with him at random times, so he knows a considerable amount about each of the family guards, the Autumn Council, and their families. He’s a favorite with the court gossips because he will listen. He will rarely contribute, but he will always listen. As a result, everyone in court believes he is on their side. How this will play out when he is High Lord, Eris has no idea. For now, he’s happy hearing their tales of woe. Lord Cherry’s son eloped with the royal groundskeeper who taught Eris how to garden? Eris is absolutely shocked! Of course, he was the one who gave them a carriage to go to Spring, but Lord Cherry doesn’t need to know that.
Who scares Eris the most?
Eris is most scared of himself. I saw a post just the other day where a person told their therapist they were worried they would destroy everything, and their therapist told them they didn’t have that kind of power. They found it helpful because knowing you don’t have the power to change huge things in rage helped them. The difference here is that Eris has that kind of power by his proximity to societal power and his literal powers. He can destroy everything that matters to him if he is careless enough, and that terrifies him. He fears he would be powerful enough to change the world, and wishes he did not have that amount of power, because he has seen first hand how power corrupts. Outside of himself, he is most scared of Lucien. Lucien has more power than he could even imagine, and Eris isn’t sure his brother knows. At the same time, he fears the day Lucien discovers Eris knew, and that Lucien will never forgive him for keeping the knowledge to himself.
What kind of father does Eris imagine he would be, and does that differ from his actual father?
Eris imagines himself to be a brutal, unyielding, possibly even abusive father, as Beron was. He has never known a loving father, and while he believes it is theoretically possible, he looks in the mirror and sees Beron staring back at him. In every way possible, Beron has shaped Eris to be unforgiving, unyielding, brutal, and cruel. Eris worries that he will become Beron if he has children. It takes someone telling him that his worries and fear of becoming his father are what can keep him from becoming Beron. He needs a lot of support to feel confident enough that it is possible in order to become a father at all. Once he has that support, I think he does everything he can to be a better father than the one he had.
What national/regional park would Eris get lost and die (or not die) in?
Eris is dying in Petrified Forest National Park as we speak. He’s dying of heat related injuries and sun exposure. That male was not made for the desert. Fire powers cannot save you from the Arizona sun.
A LITTLE BIT MORE
★ pairing: aged up!miles1610 x latina!reader
★ warnings: all characters in this story are 18!!! suggestive i think?
★ summary: Miles has been your math tutor for the past few months and you can’t lie, he’s been sort of your lil bestfriend too because you tell him all about your boy problems and everything. It got to a certain point where you were about to let something personal slip.. specifically how you didn’t know how to kiss. Miles may be a lil nerd n a tutor n all but he still gets play, so you asked him to show you how to kiss and it slowly turned into more than that.. a make out session.
★ w/c: 2k
★ a/n: ok so ik i put up a poll for y’all to choose but.. i rly wanted to write abt 1610 miles esp for this one shot 😣 sry yall i got yall w the next one shot tho trust🙏
“Miles, please don’t make me do this problem on my own.. you know how I am with fractions.”
You groaned at just the sight of the problem and leaned back on your arms.
For context, you were currently in Miles’ room with three different text books sprawled out open on the floor. He’s been your math tutor for the past four months because you failed your last two math classes and couldn’t afford to fail one more because that would cause you to fail the grade. Today, you were both going over things that were going to be in your test at the end of the marking period.
You’ve been studying non-stop all week and grew tired of it (even though all you mostly did was get off topic and have endless conversations with Miles.)
“Y/n, c‘mon you can’t do this every time i’m tutoring you. Just try.” Miles smiled at your reaction to the math problems in the book.
“Can we please just take a small break?”
“..Y/n our last break was 5 minutes ago.”
“Exactly my point!! It’s been too long.”
He chuckled at you and had no choice but to give in. It’s not like he didn’t enjoy the silly conversations you both had. You both saw each other as.. you wouldn’t say therapists but more of a.. comfort friend? Just someone you could talk to freely basically. At this point you were practically each others best friend, you just hadn’t noticed it yet.
Miles always enjoyed your company, no matter what you both were doing as long as it was together. You rarely ever hung out together if it wasn’t involved with tutoring, but that wasn’t a bad thing. You would almost get tutored everyday because math just really wasn’t something you were good at..
“Soo.. what’s with you and that guy what was his name.. Ethan?”
“It’s Evan, and we fell out. I found him talking to two of my friends at the same time and I wasn't gonna stay around to see that unfold. I told them of course, just didn’t wanna be there to witness the outcome.”
He raised his eyebrows in surprise, Miles knew your situation with guys very very well. He knew almost all of the guys you messed around with, well.. weren’t the best. If he was honest, they sucked ass. They all seemed to go after you for one thing, your body. Miles always hated the idea of you talking to another guy, not in a weird or possessive way of course, he was just over protective of you. He always remembers the nights you would text him asking him if he was free just to cry in his arms.
Sometimes you would come in all moody to your study sessions too and for you that was off, because when you opened your mouth it never seemed to shut.
He palmed his face and sighed in disappointment of yet another shitty guy you messed with.
“I told you he seemed off. He was wayy too friendly for a guy that ‘only wanted to be with you’ I never trusted him and i’m proud to say i didn’t.” Miles quoted with his fingers.
You smiled and looked down at the floor deep in thought, “Yeah well, he was ugly anyways. Personality wise too, he never really made me laugh. When I did laugh around him I would laugh at him, not with him. Y’know?”
“Yeah, I would notice. Your laughs never seemed genuine around him.” He shrugged.
You smirked and cocked an eyebrow. “Oh yeah? And what’s ‘genuine’ to you?”
Miles leaned in and placed his palms on his knees looking up at the ceiling thinking of what to say.
“Like.. it’s hard to explain. Around me, your laughs just have a higher pitch and you lose your breath much quicker and you make random sounds while laughing which is what gets me to laugh. Then, around him your laughs were like so motone and you didn’t really hold onto your stomach as if it hurt from laughing so much, you get me?”
You stared at him in disbelief from how much he went into detail, you never thought of how much he really paid attention to you. Your face was a little bright red, you were flustered because you just felt so.. special? The feeling was unknown.
“Wow.. that’s—that’s a lot. I get what you mean though, his jokes were never as funny as yours were. You don’t even have to try to make me laugh.” You smiled.
He smiled back and made a proud expression, you knew what was coming next. Miles always made this face when he was about to brag about something.
“Thank you, I get that a lot from girls. I always make sure to keep them entertained and never treat them like shit. I don’t understand how you manage to find guys like that, I would never do what they do. Pretty sure my ma would kill me.” He chuckled at the last sentence.
You rolled your eyes at the bragging, you knew Miles had game and had many many girls falling for him. I mean, who wouldn't fall for him? Look at him, he has a great personality, he's caring, a momma's boy which, by the way, is totally adorable and he’s just so sweet and genuine. His smile was contagious and he was attractive too of course..
You snapped back to reality, your mind wandering off somewhere else.
“Bet you got lots of bitches huh.” You choke out a laugh trying to ignore the thoughts lingering at the back of your head.
“Nah, it may seem that way but I honestly got my eye set on one girl. I’m not bout that ‘playa’ shit y’know? Gotta keep it real and let ‘em know that cause leading people on ain’t what i’m about.”
You looked at him intensely, really wondering who this girl was. Although you felt the urge to beg him to tell you because you knew how stubborn he was, you didn’t. You were scared you weren’t gonna like his answer so you brushed the feeling aside.
You wouldn’t admit it to anyone but yourself (barely) you had feelings for Miles, you weren’t aware of it until about a month ago when you went on countless dates. On every single one, Miles was in your head and you couldn’t seem to focus on the person in front of you.
“That’s surprising, if you’re not a player like you say you aren’t how do you treat your girls?” You quickly switched the topic and switched the rolls.
“Well, ion be messin’ around with other girls or on that friendly shit y’know? Every chance I get ima flaunt my girl like she’s the lottery.” He smiled proudly.
You scoffed in jealousy. “Wow, I wish there were more guys like you shit ONE like you at least.”
Miles blushed a bit at the way you said you wanted someone like him. He quickly recovered and perked a brow, scoffing with a proud expression.
“Yeah well, I'm one of one. Can’t find anyone like me.”
“I just can’t believe it, I haven’t even been with one guy who’s good enough to show me how to-“
You quickly saved yourself from the embarrassment and threw your hands over your mouth. Miles took notice of this and he raised a brow at you and moved slightly closer.
“Show you how to what?” He asked, smirking only slightly.
Heat rose to your cheeks, you covered your face and grumbled from already feeling embarrassed even though you hadn’t even told him yet. You hid yourself in your knees not wanting to face him.
“C’mon I promise I won't laugh!” He begged.
“Yes you will! I know you!”
“I swear on my pet hamster's life I won't.” He spoke seriously.
You looked up a bit, sighing and agreeing to say what was on your mind, you had always been ashamed of it because you never really kissed just anyone. You wanted it to be special, of course you’ve kissed a few but your old self thought they were special when they weren’t.
“F-Fine. I—I..don’t know how to kiss.” You whispered the last part lowly, too embarrassed to say it outloud.
“A lil louder than that Y/n, it’s just you and me here c’mon.” He sweetly smiled at you placing a hand on your back.
“I don’t know how to kiss.” You said bluntly, looking straight to avoid his striking gaze.
All that could be heard were stifled chuckles and you turned to stare at the culprit, Miles was cupping his mouth with both hands trying not to burst out laughing straight in your face. You smacked the back of his head and scolded him for swearing.
“Miles! You swore on your hamster's life!”
Laughter erupted from him and could be heard loudly throughout the room. Soon he calmed down and collected enough breath to speak.
“He died like a week ago, it's fine.”
“What?! And you didn’t tell me?? Tu si eres malo.”
“Whatever, back on topic. You don’t know how to kiss? How? You’re like, genuinely one of the prettiest girls I know.”
You blushed at both the comment and from embarrassment. You were 18 almost 19 and didn’t even know how to properly have a make out session, not that it was your fault. All the guys you messed with genuinely sucked, and your lips were far too precious for you to just place them on anyone.
“Hey! No es culpa mía, i bet you’re not even good at kissing either.” I huffed angrily.
“Actually, I'm quite known for being a great kisser para tu información.” He admitted proudly.
Then, an idea spiked up in your head. He was your best friend.. you think? Might as well take this perfect opportunity to ask him for a favor, a huge one. This had you nervous though, because it could go two ways. He would say yes and show you and you both would continue to live your lives as if nothing happened, as normal friends right? Or.. you would be embarrassed for the rest of it if he said no. How would you recover from that? Whatever.. might as well do it now and pray nothing bad happened.
“Miles?” You finally spoke, with a serious tone hiding behind your words.
“Yes?”
“Could you.. um—do me a favor?” You spoke shyly, a wave of nervousness was coming at you and strong.
“Depends. What is it?” He spoke more lowly now with curiosity, he subconsciously moved closer to you to hear you clearly. In case you’d decided to whisper again since that was a habit.
You took a deep breath, preparing yourself for what was to become. This determined whether or not you would ever talk to him or see him the same, you seriously thought you wouldn’t be able to recover from this.
“Could you..maybe.. teach me?” You looked down at the floor again, biting the inner corner of the inside of your cheek. You were slightly sweating from how nervous you were.
A few seconds of silence passed before you looked up nervously. Many thoughts racing in your mind right now;
‘What if he was making fun of me in his head right now?’
‘What if he didn’t want to be friends with me anymore?’
‘What if he thought I was weird?’
‘What if he hates me now?’
Your thoughts were quickly put to a pause when he spoke up, you thought you were dreaming when you heard the words escape his mouth.
“Sure, I’ll teach you. But are you sure like, completely sure you wanna do this? I’m kinda rough with it, and i don’t know if you’d like it.” He spoke softly when looking at you.
You let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding, shutting your eyes and nodding. You smiled sweetly at him, your heart speeding up with a hint of excitement. You’d be lying if you said you didn’t think about kissing Miles at least once.
“Yes, I'm sure.” You stared at his eyes then his lips wide eyed, your eyes glistening with anticipation. Your lips were slightly parted as you oh so wanted to lean in and just kiss his pretty lips already, but you waited for him to instruct you on what to do.
He moved closer to you and sat in front of you staring at you with slightly hooded eyes. He smirked as he spoke and that’s all you seemed to notice.
“Alright, first you needa part your lips slightly which i see you’re already doing. Then, you just tilt your head to whichever side you prefer and lean in. Close your eyes obviously, then just follow my lead. Simple, you got it?”
You nodded once again, and blushed lightly as he leaned in closer. His hand made his way up and he gently placed it on the side of your neck and tilted his own head shutting his eyes to kiss you.
“Alright, here we go..” He whispered.
With that, he kissed you gently. His soft lips locked with yours, surprisingly you seemed to follow along quickly and placed one of your hands on his toned chest. Your breaths seemed to quicken with every second that passed and he started to lean in more, this time you were slightly pushed back. You held onto the front of his shirt pulling him down with you. Your forearms supporting your upper weight as you laid back on the floor.
Miles now completely on top of you deepened the kiss, his tongue softly grazed against your bottom lip asking for permission to enter which you complied to. He placed his hand back on your neck, his fingers resting on the bottom part of your lower head pushing you against him more. You let a low moan slip past you and you opened your eyes wide, with shock but quickly closed them back up once you heard the sounds he made.
The ‘agressiveness’ he mentioned now showing as low growls escaped his lips when getting a few seconds to breathe between kisses. His tongue fighting with yours for dominance which he quickly claimed.
He broke the kiss, a string of saliva showcasing how intense the kiss was. He smirked against your lips and you both breathed heavily against each other, chests heaving up and down rapidly. He caressed the sides of your waist slipping one hand under the hem of your shirt and leaned in to seductively whisper in your ear.
“I think I'm gonna have to teach you a little bit more than just kissing, ma.” He smirked.
