I need to vent about this - is there such thing as media literacy in lobotomy kaisen ? I see nuclear takes every day and I don’t engage with them because I know these people have their mind’s set and can’t believe anything else or their fragile view point will shatter. But how can you even argue satosugu were just friends 😭😭😭 like do you even have friends? shoko and gojo are friends, megumi and nobara were friends, geto and gojo? Im sorry but how much subtext can you overlook and how much subtext can there be for it to matter. OF COURSE gege is not going to STRAIGHT UP say they are gay lovers this is shonen and you are proving him right by arguing against it. AND ABOVE ALL ELSE the thing that truly pisses me of tremendously makes me genuinely hysteric, is people misinterpreting gojo’s last words to geto. HOW CAN YOU ARGUE WITH A STRAIGHT FACE THAT HE SAID ANYTHING BUT “I love you” HOWEEEWMEMDMSMSDN HOW, WHY WOULD THAT CONFESSION BE MUTED IF HE SAID SOME BULLSHIT LIKE UR MY BESTIE WHY like genuinely, these words weren’t hid from the audience just because, ITS A CONFESSION OF FEELINGS SO DEEP SO PROFOUND BUT SHAMEFUL AND SECRETIVE AND THEIRS FOR ONLY GETOS EARS TO HEAR AND GETOS HEART TO FEEL. WHY “LOVE IS THE MOST TWISTED CURSE” I WONDER WHAT MADE HIM THINK OF LOVE THIS WAY PROBABLY FUCKING UTAHIME NOT THE GUY WHO HIS SOUL KNOWS BETTER THAN HIS ALL FUCKING KNOWING EYES. WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR LOVE FOR A BEST FRIEND WHO HAS HURT YOU TWISTED ??? NO TF YOU WIULDNT YOU DONT PONDER ABOUT YOUR LOVE YOU DONT HIDE IT FOR 10 YEARS YOU DONT WANT IT BACK EVEN IF ITS THE THING THAT RUINS YOU. no but genuinely any other interpretation of the words is stupid, im sorry, it’s not just their relationship but also the scene itself. getos reaction… he was shocked, then happy, blushing because it made him ashamed but at the same time smiling because it made him so happy, wishing after pushing away gojo for years that at the very end gojo would stop loving him but he never did. literally at the brink of death, finding peace in the chaos, but facing this unconditional love, geto wished only for gojo to curse him a little so he wouldn’t suffer losing him…. best of friends everybody

There has always been one False Symmetry.
Only one. She made sure of that. She knows that there’s—there’s an other, sure—but she’s—there has always been only one False. Strange things happen, it’s fine, but there’s still only one. And there never has been another.
(Someday she’ll start believing it.)
When people in the rift’s domain start talking to her like a friend, False knows she’s made a grievous error. There’s an other, here, then, and if there’s an other she needs to know what it’s doing.
There’s a watchtower installed the next day. She doesn’t bother wandering the premises. She knows there’s nobody there, but she keeps her sword inconveniently in hand as she builds. False checks, double-checks, and triple-checks the air behind her shoulder.
This is for them, she tells herself. If they find her, she’ll hurt them. She doesn’t know it but she’ll hurt them and I can’t let that happen.
Every time someone confuses them False’s spring grows a little more tightly wound, her posture more alert, her sword closer and closer more constantly.
She’s dangerous, she’s dangerous, she’s dangerous.
It presses against False’s temples, behind her eyes, the weight of this knowledge, this great threat. The hermits would laugh her off if she told them. They’re not people who are often driven to panic or fear; she’s seen a few come close with this rift thing, but hermits are tricky. They think they always know best, and if she tells them, they’ll go hunting, or worse, to befriend it. Aided by infinite respawns, they’d assume their invincibility was assured and try to lay eyes on her.
They’d never even remember what hit them. Curious things. False has to keep it from them. It hurts that she can’t trust them with knowing, but it’s for their own good.
She must carry the weight, the operation, the knowledge, on her shoulders in the same place where her head once stood, because when the greatest threat to your friends is someone who wears your face, you must stop carrying such a distinguishable weakness. When you can’t look your own mirror image in the eye without flinching, you learn to stop looking. Better to smash the mirror first. Nobody can see you’re weak, then, the soft underbelly of the hermits.
You’re waiting for it to remember before you strike, like a coward. Poised and coiled like a rattlesnake but without the fangs to make it count. You’re watching and watching that mirror, transfixed, but there is nothing you could use to smash it, not a sword or a fist or a stick, nothing except your own head. There is nothing to do about it but hurt yourself.
And, secretly, False is scared. Bone-deep terrified. She almost fell asleep in the tower because she never sleeps anyways—there is no home to shelter her here—and it’s—it’s that she’s so tired, she’s been living without this terror for so long, so confident in her stupid plan working, that she’d forgotten what it was like to live like a desperate, starving wolf, eyeing everything like a meal. Any of these emperors could be aiding her. Any of the hermits could—could find her and get confused and killed and it’s—it would be her fault, then, and there would be nothing she could have done to stop it.
Her head hurts and her vision is blurry. She hasn’t been drinking water. It seems so insignificant in the face of such a strange, all-consuming terror.
There might be something wrong with her.
But she can’t do anything until she’s smashed that mirror. Make sure her work has truly been undone.

Has anyone yet done a fic about Dark Cacao and Second Watcher falling in love, but it’s around the time Dark Choco’s a baby? Like, these two are getting to know each other and sort out their feelings, and it also features Dark Cacao as a new single dad, and the fic also has tiny Dark Choco shenanigans
I mean I think that’d be a neat idea. And also given that one picture we have of a baby Dark Choco being held by what looks to be a young Second Watcher, you could assume that he’s one of the people put in charge of taking care of the young prince, and that gives an easy opportunity for the two characters to meet and spend time with one another (Second Watcher and Dark Cacao I mean)
Though I suppose there’d then be the question of where Dark Choco’s other parent is at this time. Though I suppose you could also just as easily say Dark Cacao is a single parent, as in he’s quite literally the only parent of Dark Choco, whether he was baked or he just was manifested one day or something
