Name five things you're passionate about.

1. Ukulele!! I love love loooove playing my ukulele :D It’s so much fun and the strings sound so good and the sound ough I freaking love the sound it’s so light and pretty and EEEEEEEEE!!! I get so very excited when I see ukuleles in any form of media :) Like yes!! That’s my instrument!!!

2. Autism! I’m not autistic myself but I find the whole thing to be extremely interesting, and I’ve done a whole lot of research on it over the years. How it presents itself in different people, and the effects it has, and just… I find it to be really cool.

3. Writing! In my writing/literature class, I always perk up and widen my eyes whenever the teacher mentions writing XD Whether it’s journaling or a creative piece of fiction, I love writing. It brings me so much excitement :D

4. Music music music music music music music music MUSIC

5. Long car rides. I adore long car rides lol. Always get excited over ‘em.

Frost:

Kori stared at the glittery grass, the cold air making him shiver slightly. The frost made everything seem white, but not in the same affect as snow. He should like winter, seeing how it was less sunny, but he truly didn’t enjoy the cold.

Shadows:

Vio snuck around the corner to avoid the guard, he ducked into the shadows to avoid a maiden, he hid behind a pillar so no one would see him. If anyone knew what he was trying to do, who he was trying to bring back, things would get very complicated. He clutched a book in his hands a sighed. He hoped it would work this time

Entwined:

Linebeck glared from across the village at Rusl and his wife. They were sitting together, her head on his shoulder, their hands entwined together, it made Linebeck grumble. Could they stop being so annoyingly in love for five seconds?

Laugh:

“I know I must be hallucinating,” Leon muttered, staring at the giant man-bird in front of him.

The bird-man let out a lighthearted laugh. “You Hylians, you’re all so funny to me. You’re acting as if you’ve never seen a Rito before.”

Sneeze:

“I’m fine pa! I’m not sick!”

Rusl raised an eyebrow at his oldest son, who was stubbornly working outside, very clearly sick.

“Link, you don’t look fi—“

Rusl was interrupted by Link letting out a sneeze. He sniffed and gave Rusl a sheepish look. He was definitely not fine.

When I went to the doctor’s office yesterday the nurse took my blood pressure and went …has your blood pressure been high lately? And I said no I’m nervous, and she goes yeah but you’re usually nervous and it’s never been this high, and I went oh yeah no I’m here for my mental health today I’m scared out of my mind 😂

A relatively new addition to the cast of Duck Duck Goose, this is the malevolent and ill-tempered Little Bo Peep!

A ruthless little girl of blood and wool, she’s got a thin patience to those that oppose the goal of the sheep. She’s got quite the arsenal around her— a widespread flock of friendly looking little lambs that are much less cutesy when in battle. With relentless little manic sheep that are spotted all over the place, the sheep are spoken to have a vendetta against canine-kind and all things wolf-related, as they’ve grown tired of being thrown around and hunted so mercilessly by all the real big bad wolves of the world. When prey becomes predator, a leader is to be crowned to remind of the motive— and this is where Bo Peep— a girl perfectly fit for the job— comes into play.

Little Bo Peep is the human protector of these wooly little animals, and she’s been crowned to represent what they want— revenge; against all who have ever feasted their chop and harvested their wool. She’s uptight and snobbish— a total brat far too spoiled beyond repair. She makes the utmost perfect host for controlling, frolicking alongside the flock as it continues to flourish and grow. The sheep and their leader are the living proof not to trust all things cute and cuddly. In fact, they’re all proof that trust is a fragile virtue granted and destroyed— all you have to do is look into the gaze of Bo Peep the wrong way and you’ll find yourself with wool over your eyes!

Special thanks to @pazam, @menthum-mint and @shroingushour for some help with ideas for the finalized design! I had a little bit of trouble making her outfit a little more interesting initially, haha!

(Disclaimer: this is just a repeat shower thought I’ve been struggling to put into words)

There’s something about stories where the happy ending is only obtained through a fourth wall break that I just find incredibly unsatisfying. I get the idea is supposed to be like “this happy ending is obtained because of your hard work,” but when the player hasn’t really been an acknowledged factor in the story before that point, it ends up feeling less like a victory for me and more like a happy ending isn’t actually possible for the characters without the author showing their hand. Like, the characters growth and wills aren’t actually enough to win, but the author likes them so they’re just gonna let them get the win anyways. I want the characters’s victory to be the one that’s actually in story if that makes sense

On the flip side of that, it is so satisfying to watch a character go “if the laws of this universe get in the way of my happy ending, then I will simply rewrite them.”

literally JUST occurred to me that the intended joke of “here’s my review, not gay enough” was most likely “that movie was fucking gay, so it would be funny and ironic if we said it wasn’t gay ENOUGH. because it could hardly be any gayer” and not “wow i was expecting more homoeroticism from the vampire movie”
