three days ago I started watching Veronica Mars. my opening impression was ‘this is fun and I’m gonna enjoy it, but I don’t see myself hyperfixating on it.’ and I have to say. I was wrong about that second part

𝕊𝕡𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕀𝕔𝕖 𝔸𝕡𝕒𝕣𝕥
(request) Kimi Räikkönen x Fem!Reader Kimi only allowed one person to truly know him. You.
Warnings: a bit of cussing, poorly google translated Finnish, and extremely brief research of cities in Finland. Briefly edited.
Tumblr media
Kimi famously never allowed his emotions to be on open display for the people around him. He never let people see behind his frosty facade. He never let people get close enough for them to figure him out. He always kept everyone at a distance so there was no possible way for anyone to truly know the type of man he was. Excluding his parents, there was only one exception to all of it.
You.
Kimi never intended to bump into anyone on his break between seasons. He had chosen Pori specifically because he knew that no one he worked with knew enough about Finland to know where Pori was. None of his colleagues knew that Pori was roughly a 3 hour drive north west of his home town. With a population of 83 thousand compared to Espoo’s 310 thousand, it wasn’t an extremely well known place.
Kimi supposed he shouldn’t’ve been so surprised when he bumped into you, causing your coffee to spill everywhere. But he couldn’t help it. He never would’ve expected to literally bump into someone he worked with.
“Katsu se!” You exclaimed. Too busy trying to wipe off the spilt coffee before it could stain your coat too badly. [Watch it!]
“L/n?”
Of course you knew who it was, how could you not? It wasn’t like you spent a majority of the year around him, battling it out every weekend for top spot on the podium.
“What Räikkönen? Didn’t expect to see me over break?” You finally looked up and made eye contact with the Finn.
“Why are you in Finland?”
“Am I not allowed to go home during winter break?” This had stunned Kimi more than bumping into you.
“Home?”
Your annoyance had disappeared a while ago, the whole situation was too amusing for you to be truly annoyed. “Räikkönen, just because I race under a different flag doesn’t mean I’m not associated with another country. I was born in Pori, spent 14 years here before moving overseas.”
After that the rest was history. You ended up spending more and more of your winter break around Kimi. So much time that the Finn found himself opening up more and more around you. At first he had been the same cold, closed off Kimi that you were used to, but soon enough his metaphorical ice walls began to melt around you. He learnt that your mother had been born in Finland and had met your father while on holiday. You told him that your father had moved to Finland to be with your mother and that you always spent winter break in Pori. You travelled so much for the rest of the year you found there was no point travelling between seasons.
Throughout your time together, Kimi found himself telling you things he had only ever told his parents. He told you how he had wanted to eventually settle down and start a family. He told you that he truly did believe that Formula 1 was a hobby, that it wasn’t just something he said for the cameras. He told you that sometimes, in the privacy of his own home, he often thought about his imaginary daughters running around and filling his house with giggles and bright smiles.
Eventually, the winter break would come to an end, and you would both have to go back to the rush of racing every weekend. About a week before preseason testing, you had been hanging out with Kimi in your living room. Talking about everything you had done so far in your careers. Kimi had smiled when you started to laugh at the story he had just finished telling.
Watching you laugh at something he said had him feeling almost giddy with nerves. He had never felt this way with a woman before. Not one to let an opportunity slip by, he spoke up softly.
“Y/n?”
“Yes Kimi?” You responded, trying your best to calm down from laughing.
“Let me take you on a date.”
“Kimi- what?”
“I want to take you on a date. These last months have let me understand that everything I want in life, I want them to be with you.” He said. Taking your hand in his, he spoke with a sincerity you had never seen or heard in a man before. “Let me take you on a date and show you.”
Your free hand had covered your mouth as he spoke. A month ago, when you realised what your own feelings for him were, you had become determined to never mention them. There was no way The Iceman of all people would feel the same about you. Yet here he was. Sitting on your couch and asking you to go on a date with him.
“Yes.”
Kimi gave you a smile that had become less and less rare the more you spent time with him.
“Thank you.”
It had been three years since then. In that time you had gone on dates in every country you had travelled to. You both celebrated every win and comforted every loss. Two years into dating, Kimi had asked you to move in and marry him and during the mid-year break, surrounded by both your immediate families, you had become Y/n Räikkönen. Kimi hadn’t cared about telling the other drivers or the media, and you had agreed saying that it would be far funnier if they found out on their own. So nothing had changed in your public routines. In your head you thought the funniest part of it all would be that no one on the grid knew you had even started dating each other.
Neither of you had gone out of your way to avoid the other, in fact the other drivers often saw you both hanging around each other. Nobody had any inkling that You and Kimi were together as more than friends. Many gossip sources chalked it up to the two “outcasts” of the grid hanging out and left it at that. So it was a surprise to everyone when some fans had pointed out on social media that your signature had changed from your race number and maiden name to Räikkönen.
Jensen and Fernando, being constantly online, had dragged Sebastian to immediately start searching for the Finn. What they had found was more surprising than your change of signature. Opening the door to Kimi’s drivers room, the three of them saw you sitting on the couch with Kimi lounging on your lap, asleep. You had one hand running through his hair as he slept while the other was scrolling on your phone. Looking up as the door opened, you smiled when you saw who it was.
“Hello boys. Anything I can help you with?” You asked. Fernando was too shocked to say anything and Jensen had just started stuttering out incoherent sounds, so it was up to Sebastian.
“There are fans saying that your signature has changed.”
You huffed a gentle laugh, trying not to disturb your husband from his rest. “That’s because it has.”
“But why?” Jensen had managed to get his English under control enough to start actually speaking.
“Why’d you think it would change Jense?” You were having too much fun with this.
“But you have never shown any interest in Kimi. And Kimi doesn’t show interest in anything, so when?” It was Fernando’s turn to get over his shock. “How long have you been married? Why did we not know?”
By now Kimi was definitely awake, though he made no show of it. You could feel Kimi’s hand that was resting between you and the couch back start to gently stroke your thigh. You knew he was also amused.
“I wasn’t aware I needed to tell you who I was interested in. If I’d known I would’ve told you three years ago.”
“Three years!?” The three of them cried.
Eyes still closed, Kimi mumbled to you. “Käske heitä naimaan. Nukun.” [Tell them to fuck off. I’m sleeping.]
“Luulen, että olet levännyt tarpeeksi, rakkaani.” You replied laughing. All Kimi did was groan. [I think you’ve rested enough, my love.]
“If you wake up properly, I’ll give you a kiss.”
Opening his eyes, Kimi briefly glanced at the three flabbergasted men still in his driver's room, before looking directly at you. “Teet kovaa kauppaa, vaimo.” [You drive a hard bargain, wife.]
He sat up nonetheless and moved so you could place your legs over his lap. He looked at the others and spoke. “What else did you want to blubber about?”
Kimi was aware that he had a resting bitch face, and most times he didn’t mean to glare at people, but the three men in front of you had clearly been terrified of what Kimi might do if they stayed, so they quickly made their way out of the room.
“I told you they would find out from the fans.” You laughed. A smile broke out on Kimi’s face.
“I really thought they were smart enough to figure it out themselves.”
“Sebastian I could understand, but we’re talking about Jensen and Fernando here, my love. They were never going to figure it out on their own.”
“That’s true.” Kimi shifted you closer to him, so that you were sitting on his lap facing him. “I believe I was promised a kiss, Wife.”
“How could I ever deny you, Husband?” You whispered, leaning in close and gently placing your lips to his. His hand moved to the back of your neck to pull you closer and deepen the kiss. Both of you aware of the three drivers that had yet to move from the other side of Kimi’s door.
It wasn’t your fault if they saw something they shouldn’t’ve.

[moved on] fwb!taesan x f!reader | 0.7k words shorter drabble inspired by the song moved on by laundry day!
my heart is saying things my mind just cannot speak ... i don't know what is wrong with me
taesan was an avoidant. he was good at ignoring things, pushing away the elephant in the room and pretending he doesn't care, that it couldn't bother him any less. he was good at ignoring the way your glances at him grew longer and fonder. he was even better at ignoring the way your doe eyes and soft hair made his heart race and stomach turn.
i'm clinging onto you just like i cannot breathe ... i don't know what is wrong with me
he knew it hurt you and he hated himself for it. you two had agreed to keep things between the two of you casual, seeking comfort in each others' touch in the late hours of the weekend and barely speaking the days in between. at the time it started, taesan's fleeting presence filled you up, bringing you out of the emotional trenches school had sent you into.
maybе I'm the problem saying this is alright ... am i coming on too strong?
that was your first mistake -- you should've known you were setting yourself up for failure right then and there. letting the raven haired boy light up your day with a simple stroke of his hand against your cheek; your heart never stood a chance against the curse of time.
please make sure you call, just to say it's alright ... am i waking you all night?
as the days passed, it was taesan who became the reason you ached on late nights. staring at your still unread message, you wondered why things were like this. the boy's actions twisted your mind in ways he'd never know. at times like this your mind flashed back to the way he was after the sun had set, when it was just the two of you in your own world.
we get together but things might just be better if we moved on
the way his warm lips felt against your neck, the way his fingers burned into your skin, it was all imprinted on your mind. the moments you two shared felt so intimate, and they replayed in your mind over and over like a broken record.
turning around under your heavy blanket for the tenth time that night, you screwed your eyes shut as more and more memories invaded your mind and dreams.
the two of you had been watching a movie, your head laying on his chest and his hand rubbing your shoulder softly. eyes trained on your laptop, you almost missed taesan’s face in your peripheral vision, peeking over at you. he had a habit of doing this — you always assumed he was simply checking if you were awake. you always stayed silent, just smiling and blinking delicately at him.
“i’m awake, san” you don’t know what made you blurt out defensively, but taesan shook his head softly at your words.
“i know, i was just looking at you.” your stomach still turns at the thought of the smile he was adorning as those words fell from his pretty lips.
his fond smile only looked wicked to you now, his words singing your skin and burning your resolve. how could he say all of that without feeling a single thing? you thought to yourself bitterly.
am i giving you up? ... changing seasons, can't believe it now i'm leaving you
sometimes taesan too thought he was insane. it stung to think about the sweet things he'd said or done to you -- it scared him how he meant it all completely. the boy didn't know what was wrong with him, why he couldn't just let the two of you be happy and togehter. he felt like a speed bump in the road, stubbornly and selfishly guarding his heart at the expense of your fragile mind.
hindsight is 20/20, and sitting alone in his cold and you-less bed, taesan knows what he should've done and said to you, what was staring him in the face this whole time. he was utterly in love with you and he didn't even realize.
bitterly, he pulls his phone out of his pocket and reads over your last text to him again.
[2:47 a.m]
y/n: i can't keep doing this anymore. i'm sorry, let's stop seeing each other.

“We have plenty of time darling, don’t stress.” Sana places the finishing brush of her lipstick gently across her slight pout. She frowns at you in the mirror as you fiddle with the silk of your evening gown, “The driver will be here in 10 minutes and look!” She twirls around and does a cute little flourish with her dress, “I’m already done so I’m actually 10 minutes early.”
You can’t help but smile at the gesture and then you remember what you were talking about. “That’s not what I meant and you know it Sana.” You return your gaze to your hands, fingers prettily painted a light shade of blue to match your dress for the night.
She sighs and walks forward, slipping her fingers between yours and interlocking them, stopping your fiddling. Everything about her is soft. The way her skin feels after she’s finished her morning stretches, the way her eyes look at you when you’re up late talking about everything and nothing, the way she’s sliding into your lap now and lifting your face gently with her hands. You’re avoiding her gaze as much as you can, eyes darting all over the room, anywhere but her pretty, pretty face.
But she grips a little harder and settles her forehead against yours, breaths mingling, noses touching.
“Baby… look at me.” Her voice is hushed against your lips, and god you’re only so strong. You meet those soft eyes you’ve fallen in love with.
“There we go.” You can hear the smile in her voice. “You can see it can’t you? Us, together in the perfect little villa only a few minutes drive from the big city, maybe a kitten or two, definitely stinky morning kisses and tickle fights.” Your eyes close as she presses light, slow kisses all over your face. “That’s waiting for us angel. It’s not going anywhere. I’m not going anywhere. I promise.” The last word is spoken right against your lips, and she seals the promise with a kiss as sweet as her.
The driver calling Sana’s phone interrupts you and you chase after her lips as she breaks away with a giggle, sliding off your lap and picking up her phone.
You sigh, pinching your nose as you gather your things preparing to go to the ball where they would be announcing exactly who won Minatozaki Sana’s heart on live television in this year’s Bachelorette rendition. For now, her promise clouded the fact that it wasn’t your name she would be reading out tonight.

Milf!Wanda Maximoff x Reader
Wanda does all of the cooking for Thanksgiving and you help her see just how thankful you are for her
Warnings: Smut! 18+ please! Kissing, bathtub sex (W receiving), soft sex
Note: The most wonderful time of year indeed. Enjoy the milf!
Wanda Maximoff Masterlist, Main Masterlist
Tumblr media
The house smells of turkey and the holiday season as Wanda stands by the stove. She’s been cooking since the crack of dawn, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
You’ve helped with a few things, but mostly it’s been Wanda who is putting in the work. The twins run around the house and play as they wait for the company to arrive.
“No! I’m running out of time!” Wanda’s voice breaks you from your thoughts.
“It’s only 5, baby. You still have about an hour until the guests arrive,” you say.
“That’s not long enough,” she says, a sigh falling from her perfect lips. They form into a pout as she observes the work she has ahead of her.
“Well, you could use your magic,” you say.
Wanda smiles but shakes her head.
“No magic today. Just me,” she says.
“You are magic no matter what, my love,” you tell her.
You stand up from your chair and hug Wanda from behind. She sinks into your touch. Dropping a kiss to her cheek, you make her feel relaxed even if for just a moment.
“Tell you what,” you begin. “I’ll get the rowdy boys to set the table and I’ll help you do anything you need. We can do this.”
“We can do this,” Wanda repeats though she’s not sure she believes it.
You kiss her cheek once more for good measure and then you go find the boys. They’re in their room playing Mario Kart.
“Hey guys,” you say. “How about we pause the game and go help Mom get ready for the guests?”
“Okay!” Billy answers easily. He’d do anything for his mom.
“Can we finish this level?” Tommy asks.
“Later, buddy,” you say.
“Okay,” he says, a slight sigh in his voice. He pouts like Wanda does.
“I have a super secret task for the two of you,” you tell them before you leave the bedroom.
“What is it?” Tommy asks.
“Today is Thanksgiving, which means that you tell people that you’re thankful for them. I got your mom a card and I was thinking you two could write a sweet note in it for her. What do you think?”
“Yes!” They both agree. Anything for Wanda.
You smile and lead them to the home office where they work on the card. You leave them to go back and help Wanda. Once they’re done, they come downstairs and set the table.
Wanda was right about timing being close, but you manage to have everything cooked and ready to serve at exactly 6 o’clock.
“We did it!” Wanda says excitedly.
“You did it, babe. All you,” you say.
Wanda smiles softly and places a soft kiss to your lips. The boys feign disgust. Soon, the doorbell rings.
She answers the door and lets guests inside one by one. Steve is first with Natasha, Maria, Tony, Sam, and Bucky not far behind. You remember meeting them all at the boys birthday party, but it’s so nice to see them again.
Everyone gathers around the table and begins to eat Wanda’s wonderful food.
“This is amazing, Wanda,” Steve compliments.
“Yeah, great job, Wanda. Reminds me of home,” Sam says.
Wanda smiles shyly and tries to share the credit.
“No, this is all her. I can cook, but not like this. She’s like professional level good,” you say. Everyone nods in agreement.
“So, how’s everything going?” Maria asks Wanda.
You know what she’s referring to. After Wanda and Vision split up, the woman has gone through a hard time with the divorce and now child custody hearings. You’ve been the bright spot in all of it.
“It’s good,” Wanda says. “I didn’t know going to court would be so expensive but it’s almost over.”
“I’d sue his ass for what he’s put you through,” Natasha jumps in. Maria nudges her shoulder but she only shrugs.
You shoot her a smile and she returns a smirk.
“How about we just talk about what we’re thankful for?” Steve, ever the peacemaker, tries to change the subject.
“Great idea,” you agree. “I’ll go first. I’m thankful for Wanda and her wonderful children and friends.”
Wanda smiles and kisses your cheek at your words. You hold her hand under the table. You’ve become her everything over these last few months.
Wanda speaks next. “I’m thankful for friends who have become family, for my precious babies, and for y/n who is truly my best friend.”
Everyone goes around and continues to share what they’re thankful for. Love and laughter fills the air as the hours pass by. After dessert and socializing, the guests go home.
Wanda is in the kitchen running a sink of dishes when you stop her.
“Come with me,” you say, pulling her softly.
“But the dishes, baby. They won’t do themselves,” she tries.
You keep walking and lead Wanda to the living room. The boys are there with Wanda’s card in hand.
“We got you this, Mommy,” Billy says, handing her the card.
“Oh, thank you, baby,” Wanda says. She sits between the two boys. She opens the card and tears fill her eyes.
“We all signed it to say we’re thankful for you,” Tommy explains.
“Wow,” Wanda says softly. “This is so sweet. I’m so thankful for you guys too.”
Wanda kisses them both on the forehead as they lean into her. She reaches out to you too and you join the snuggle pile.
“Can we finish our level before bedtime?” Tommy asks after a moment.
“Yeah go ahead boys. Mom and I will be up to tuck you in soon,” you tell them. They hug you both before running up the stairs.
Wanda tries to get up but you pull her gently back onto the couch. She lands on your lap and you grin at her.
“Thank you for the card,” Wanda says.
“That was from the boys,” you say.
“Mhm. I know you were the mastermind,” she says. “I should really clean up dinner.”
“Nope.”
“What do you mean nope?” Wanda asks.
“You, my dear, did all the cooking so I will do all of the cleaning,” you say. “I’ll pour you some wine and you just get to relax, okay?”
You don’t give her a chance to say no. Instead, you kiss her and get up to start cleaning. Wanda sits at the counter and watches you. After a bit, you tuck the boys into bed and finish up cleaning.
“How about a bath?” You ask Wanda, leaning over the counter in a way you know draws her eyes to your chest.
“Only if you’ll join me,” she replies, pressing a kiss to your lips.
“Yes please,” you say.
You go to the bathroom together and run the water. Wanda slips off her clothes first and slides into the warm water. You join her and settle in behind her.
She rests her head on your shoulder as you softly run your hands over her body.
“Thank you for today,” Wanda says.
“You did the hard part.”
“No, I mean- you didn’t have to clean up or give me a card or anything,” Wanda explains.
“Oh,” you say. “I just thought you’d like it.”
“I did. I loved it,” Wanda rushes to say. “It’s just- no one’s ever done that for me before. It’s new.”
“You deserve it, Wands. Everything doesn’t have to fall on you. And you deserve to hear how thankful we all are for you,” you say.
“Hmm,” Wanda hums. She turns her head to look into your eyes. “I really love you.”
“I really love you too, Wanda Maximoff.”
She leans up and kisses you. You deepen the kiss and let your hand slip between her legs. Wanda gasps at the feeling.
“Just relax, baby. I’ll take care of you,” you say.
She lets herself relax against you as you move your fingers through her folds. Wanda lets out the sweetest sounds with every stroke. You slip fully into her easily and make quick work of getting her to her high.
“That’s it, sweetheart. Let go,” you say softly as she comes against your fingers.
Wanda’s eyes remain closed in pleasure as you simply hold her against you. She stays there until the water gets too cold and you have to get out.
You get dressed in warm pajamas and snuggle into bed next to each other. Wanda clings to you.
“I’m so thankful for you,” Wanda says as her eyes droop closed from exhaustion and relaxation.
“I’m thankful for you too, Wanda. I always will be,” you tell her.
With one more shared kiss, you two fall into a deep slumber that lasts until morning.
Wanda has never been so happy and that’s all thanks to you.

Kinktober 30/10/2024 Daniel Ricciardo- Temperature Play
Plot: Hot and Cold you and Daniel want to try it all
Warnings: Kinktober, SMUT, fingering, eating out, wax play, use of ice, 18+ Minors DNI
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Daniel, I want to try something that I saw on TikTok” you tell him and he almost rolls his eyes as he pushes the dogs away.
You were always getting things from TikTok, little pranks to play on him and silly little videos you’d send him asking what unique weather you were or asking him to make a spread of what vibes he thought you have based off colour, fruit, character, season and animal.
This time however it was something NSFW that popped up. It was a girl talking about the best places she’d ever ‘done the dirty’ as she so kindly put it.
She’d done it on a beach (you had too, Mallorca 2018)
She’d done it in a car (you had too, in Daniels fancy Aston Martin.
She’d done it in loads of relatable places and you were intrigued by her whole profile so you started to go through her whole TikTok, finding all these NSFW posts.
One you saw that took you by interest was a your star sigh your kink.
You were scrolling through and saw Cancer (Daniels Sign) was a kink for Somnophilia which was very true you and Daniel had in fact slept with one another whilst the other was asleep.
Of course all done consensually and discussed if it was something you were up for and you were both more than happy to wake up to the other one doing something erotic to you.
So when you swiped and saw temperature play as the one for your star sign you could only get curious. And in typical you fashion you did loads of research into what temperature play actually consisted off.
The more you thought about it the horny you got for the idea, the thoughts of Daniel using icecubes and running them over your nipple or teasing your clit with it. Or melting hot wax over your stomach just to get a little sizzle on your skin.
“Okay yes fine … show me” he says with a little laugh as you hand him the phone. He gasps seeing the title and his eyes widen as he turns back to look at you to make sure you showed him the correct thing.
“Are you sure were on TikTok right now and not pornhub?” He jokes and you lightly slap his shoulder.
“Concentrate and watch please” you ask and he scrolls commenting of course on each driver that he knew the start sign of and whether he could see them doing it until Cancer came up.
“Oh that’s me! And we do that! That’s crazy!” He laughs before swiping to the Scorpio.
“Daddy Kink, nah Lando don’t have it in him” Daniel laughs before his next swipe is Leo.
“Temperature play…. We’ve never done this before baby” he cocks his head to the side in confusion.
“Exactly but it’s something I want to do” you point out to the ice cube and flame that were in the background of the text while Tate McRae Greedy played in the background.
“So you want to try something new… in the bedroom because some random on TikTok said you’d enjoy it because if your star sign?” He asks and you nod looking at him as if it was the most normal suggestion you’ve ever come up with.
“Yes, and I’m dead serious about this” you say.
“Alright then let’s go” he says picking you up making you squeal at the sudden movement from him. He carries you up to the bedroom laying you on the bed before disappearing on you again. He starts setting up the room quickly.
He lays a towel on the bed first.
“Get on that, the ice will melt fast on skin as hot as yours” he smirks knowing how flushed your skin goes in intimate moments.
You move onto the towel, taking off your t-shirt as Daniel lights a candle setting it on the edge of the bed, watching the wax start to slowly melt.
“Wasn’t prepared so we will use the ice and perk up those nipples hmmmm” he says starting to tear at your clothes.
“Oh fuck Danny” you cry as he pushes his fingers inside you. He takes the ice cube putting it in between his teeth and running it along your collarbone and down to your nipples. He didn’t complain once about the coldness against his teeth.
“You’ve done this before haven’t you?” You ask with a breathy moan. And he just chuckles dripping the ice cube out of his mouth so it pools down in the dip in your stomach.
“Mmmmm” you moan.
“Such a pretty baby, you want another piece something a little lower? Or I think the candles warm enough now. You want some heat now?” He asks you and all you can do it nod. He grabs the melted candle carefully blowing it out to make sure he wasn’t being dangerous with a flame around sheets.
He slowly pours some wax on you and of course it’s in the shape of a number three. You gasp as you feel the stringing sensation but with his fingers inside of you it’s enough to make your eyes roll to the back of your head.
“So people know your mine. Because you are right? You’re my good girl” he breathes as he speeds up as waits for the wax to completely dry before he goes to peel it off, where a red mark, not enough to be a burn but irritation of the skin shows a 3.
“Look at that” he smiles before scissoring his fingers deeper, your head thrown back into the brown pillow behind you.
“Oh my, fucking hell” you moan as you feel the tense coil in your stomach release making you breathe out a load of relief.
“So so so good” you moan and don’t even get a second to think before he’s shoving an ice cube in his mouth, before he’s in between your legs using the ice cube to stimulate your clit.
“F-fuck too much” you moan rocking your hips against his face making him moan into you and almost loose the cube.
“Fuck that feels so good, oh my god” you cry out. The mix of the overstim from your first orgasm and the cold sensation you’d never felt like that on your clit you were squiring all over your boyfriends face. Making him groan further.
“Let’s have a little break. Play with these beauties some more” he says taking the candle wax that isn’t as hot as it was before and it already hardening as he pours it into your nipples making you hips thrust up on there own.
“Mmmm could get moulds off these baby” he moans as he watched the wax encase your nipples.
“How did you enjoy that darling?” He asks with a smile. And all you can do is nod, pretty fucked out but you knew there was more to come.
“In a pinch I think I did a pretty good job but we’ll prepare next time we do this Yes?” He asks with a soft smile as he removes the ice and candle to the side so he doesn’t wet the towel even more.
“We’re definitely doing that again” you smile.

Broken headsets
- Chan
Warning: A lot of Angst, slight violence?
Pairing: BangChan x reader.
Summary: where he snaps at you while working.
!Not proofread!
(This is just a trail story, I lost my first story that was actually good ☠️I’m probably going to delete this)
**
“Channie?” I call for him. My hands gently rubbing his back while playing with his hair. So soft and messy.
“Mhm” he replies softly. The sound of his fingers typing against the keyboard as his headsets sat around his neck. His brown curls fluffy and everywhere.
His silver hoops sitting perfectly on both his ears and his black shirt tight around his muscle making him look delicious.
“Baby you need to eat something. You’ve been on that computer ever since you got home.” I plead with him.
He needed to eat, he hadn’t eaten all day due to the busy schedule and lack of time on his plate. The mangers were on him 24/7 due to their comeback in a few weeks.
Comeback season meant no time for anything, no time for dates, no time for sitting around, no time for spending time with one another and I hated it. I hate it so much. It made me angry.
“Baby this is really important, I’ll be there in a second.” He quickly says not even bothering to look up.
“Chan you’ve been at it for the past 2 hours, you haven’t even looked at me.” I complain. Yes I wanted attention, shoot me!
“I’ll give you all the attention you want my love, just please let me finish this.”
Sadness fills my heart as I silently put the clothes inside the closet.
A ringing sound in my ear and a tight feeling in my throat.
I was trying not to cry. I refused to cry.
Chan was a workaholic, no doubt in that. His days consisted of waking up early in the morning to head to the JYP building and coming home very late only to do more work. Some nights he wouldn’t come home at all and he knew I didn’t like it so to make my happy, he sometimes would bring me with him to the studio but that was when he thought he wouldn’t be coming home.
Our conversations in the studio normally contained:
“Just 30 more minutes my love”
Or
“I’m almost done”
Or
“I promise this is the last thing.”
He loves his job and he puts 110% in it but that makes him lack in other areas. His health.
Some nights he doesn’t sleep, some days he forgets meals and other days his mental health is the worst but still he doesn’t care because he loves his Job. He loves the boys. He loves Stay.
“Fine.” I sigh. One minute meant 1 hours at this point. I quietly leave the room closing the door behind me. Leaving him in his little world.
The cold tiles sending a shiver up my spine as I walked down the corridor.
“What am I going to do with you Channie?” I whisper to myself while packing up the food.
The dishes in the sink waiting for me to touch them while the laundry basket sat in the living room waiting for me to fold the messy clothes in them.
The house was quiet. The A.C hitting my skin with cold air as I sit on the floor and start folding the clothes one by one.
Berry by my side watching me.
Our apartment wasn’t big but it was huge for two people.
Some days it was a real big hustle to keep everything clean especially when they boys stay over but other days it wasn’t hard to maintain with the help of Chan.
“What am I going to do with your dad Berry?” I sigh again looking at the dog who seemed to be care free.
I grabbed the last set of clothes and walked over to the room. Chan’s back facing me. Not even noticing me in the room.
“Baby..” I call for him as I set down the clothes and start to load them into the closet.
“What Y/n?” He says a little harsh. I roll my eyes, frustration starting to build in my chest but I decide to be the bigger person and ignore his little attitude.
“Baby do you know what we’ll be doing for our 2 year anniversary?” I asked him trying to atleast have a conversation with him.
“I don’t know Y/n. You deal with it I don’t have time. Just tell me how much it is and when it is.”
“When it is?” I ask him obviously taken back.
“Ugh I didn’t mean when it is, I mean when you wanna do it.” He quickly corrects himself and rubs his temples with his fingers.
“Atleast act like you care Chan.” I tell him honestly.
“I’m not starting an argument with you right now so please can I get back to my work?”
“Chan why are you being like this?” Ignoring his request I decide to push because honestly I was tired of it.
“I’m not acting like anything I just want to finish my work in peace.”
“Chan you’re acting so selfish right now!” I say now slightly raising my voice.
“Y/n” he says firm and glaring over at me. What’s the worse he could possibly do?
“Just listen-“ I beg before I’m cut off.
“Y/n i said leave me alone!” His voice booms and the sound of breaking glass fills the room. My body freezes. Hands shaking.
The now broken headsets and mirror laying on the ground.
“Did you just throw that at me?” I ask him in disbelief.
“Babe-“ his body was stood up now and he was reaching out for me. His face filled with panic and guilt.
“Don’t.” I say getting away from his touch. The clothes that were once folded no scattered on the ground. Words refusing to come out of my mouth until I force myself to get up from the floor.
“I-I’m going to leave…” I say softly. My heart hurt and I hope he knew that. I felt the tears that were all built up from frustration, anger and hurt all start to flow down my cheeks.
When would he realize that being with him was starting to slowly ruin me?

actually i’m not done talking about that mf still so bear with me im gonna go on a quick rant
Tumblr media
this is so going to be his “oh shit im in love with my best friend” moment for so many reasons my brain can’t function
Reason #1: that is lover stark’s realization face i SWEAR…it’s like the same face he made before and after he kissed tommy
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this face!!!!! it’s the same one!!!!! that’s his smitten, i have a crush face i swear i swear
Reason #2: the lighting in the still is almost giving him a halo (?) with the way its bouncing off of his hair and maybe i’m delusional (i am) but they wouldn’t do that unless they were framing this as some kind of innocent or maybe religious (in the emotionally reborn way) experience (aka my bff is so marriage material)
Reason #3: the way the light is only on and around his head means it’s framed as some kind of lightbulb moment for him…this is something that happens fairly frequently in tv shows and it’s something we KNOW they do for buck because they did it in 7.04 with buck and tommy
Tumblr media
this was right after they kissed for the first time and when buck was finally completely aware of his bisexuality so!!! lightbulb moment!!!!! it’s the same basic frame style as the still just like…less cinematic ergo buck is having yet another big realization
Reason #4: it’s in the locker room!!!! (i’m aware this one has less merit but i can’t stop thinking about it shhdbd) this season especially we have seen the locker room as somewhere that the deeper conversations are had… as far as i’m aware (i’d have to rewatch to be certain) we haven’t actually had a real scene in the locker room 7.01 “welcome back to the world of the living” scene (gay) and the 7.02 “three judas’s” thing…SO whatever scene this comes after will be an important conversation since it’s in the locker room (as long as it follows the theme)
Reason #5 (my favorite): it’s a callback to the 7.01 “welcome back to the world of the living” scene!!!!!! right as eddie is leaving after saying that we see a verrry similar shot
Tumblr media
similar shot!!!!!! only difference is that in the new still the camera is moved so that buck is actually standing in the light…almost like they’re saying that the scenes are connected but now buck is able to fully realize what he could only partially understand????? maybe????? like at the beginning of the season he wasn’t aware of his bisexuality yet but he WAS aware that he felt safe or alive with eddie (since eddie was literally the one to “welcome” him into this new, moving forward stage) and now in the new still it’s in the same place with a very similar shot but framed as buck having that lightbulb moment i am going insane
ANYWAY this will be buddie confirmation i can feel it in my BONES…we don’t know when this still is from but i’d get my ass that it’ll be the last episode (like starting and ending the season with these scenes) and the next season will be their getting together arc i can FEEL IT I CAN FEEL IT I SWEAR

Classroom Confessions - Sugawara Kōshi x Reader
Pairing: Sugawara Kōshi x Reader (can be read as any gender, no pronouns used) AU: post!timeskip Genre: fluff Word Count: 1 280 Warnings: none Summary: You help Suga clean up the classroom Prompts: acorn, chestnut, pinecone A/N: I’m in love with Suga. I said it before and I’ll say it again. I’m in love with this character. If I could, I’d marry the shit out of him
Tumblr media
After hours of sitting on the small chair that had been assigned to you, you felt like it was almost a relief to be sweeping the floor of the elementary school classroom. The children had done most of the cleaning up already but wanting the room to be in top condition for their Monday class, you had offered to sweep out the last dust and traces of their crafting projects; scraps of paper mostly.
“Thank you so much, you really didn’t have to help clean up,” a familiar voice behind you spoke, making you look up from where you had just gathered everything you had swept up in a neat pile.
“You’re welcome, thank you for inviting me,” you smiled and turned around to your former classmate Sugawara.
“I was surprised you actually came,” he admitted, running a hand through his adorably disheveled silver hair, before he grabbed a hand broom and walked over to you, crouching down and sweeping up the paper and dust you had gathered.
“I got invited, so I figured it was the polite thing to do,” you told him, making use of the moment to take in his appearance once more.
His hair was longer than it had been during his school time, but not unkempt. Instead, it looked soft and fluffy, just like the dark green sweater he was dressed in. During your school time you had been close, really close, but with university and the stress of entering a job, you had lost contact for a few years, until you had bumped into him again recently.
It had hardly surprised you, that the attraction you had felt towards him during school was still there, and he had hardly changed. He was still the responsible, caring friend you knew, but at the same time as sassy and chaotic as ever.
One thing that had changed though was that he had grown more confident, and after meeting with him and a few other friends from school, he asked you to go out with him. It was nothing official yet, only the declaration between the two of you that you both wanted to try what a relationship might be like, limited to dates over coffee or ramen and shy handholding.
Both of you were busy with your jobs though, so when he had invited you to the event at his school, you had agreed to join immediately, knowing it gave you a good excuse to spend time with him while watching him in his workplace and interact with the students he taught. And it would have been an understatement to claim watching him treat them so sweetly, taking them serious but not being harsh with them, instead curious and funny, it made your heart swoon even more for the young elementary school teacher.
“The kids were really excited for you to join,” Suga agreed, getting up from the floor and discarding the last dirt in the bin. “And so was I.”
He shot you one of his bright smiles as he put the brooms away.
“I really had fun,” you told him, leaning against one of the small tables. “It was nice, doing some crafting again. I liked the idea.”
“To have children and parents craft together?”
“That too, but also the little figures?” You turned around and lifted up one you had made. “First going out and searching for the acorns and chestnuts and pinecones, and then making these little figures out of it? That’s a really adorable idea.”
Suga smiled thoughtfully, walking over to one of the tables where he had prepared two cups of leftover tea.
“I wanted to do something that fit the season and gave the parents a reason to spend time with their children,” he explained, handing you one of the cups and leaning against a table opposite you. His smile faded away and instead was replaced by thoughtfulness. “Some of the children said, their parents barely have time for them, and it made them sad that they couldn’t play together like in the story we read in class.”
“So, you created an opportunity for that?”
Suga nodded, taking a sip of the black tea. “Hm, I’m really glad every child had at least one parent who made time for them.”
“And they made some really cute figures,” you laughed, remembering the attempts of the students to stick woolly yarn on the heads of their figures and draw faces on the roundish, smooth surface.
“Oh, now that you mention it,” Suga pushed away from the table again and walked over to his desk. “I received a gift.”
Curiously you watched as he carefully pulled something out of a drawer, placed it on his palm and came walking back over to you.
“What is it,” you asked, tilting your head. It seemed like two of the pinecone- figurines, and as Suga came closer, you realized one had silver yarn stuck to its head and the other a yarn that seemed to try to imitate your own hair colour.
“It’s us,” Suga grinned, holding the figures out for you to study more closely. In fact, it seemed like their hands had been glued together, making it look as if they were holding hands.
“Did you tell them we were dating,” you asked amused, taking in the details of the figures. The one that represented Suga had some dark green felt stuck over its body, mimicking his pullover while your figure was dressed in bright orange.
“I didn’t… I might have mentioned you a few times though,” he admitted.
When you looked up at him, he had the softest smile on his face looking at the figures.
“A few times,” you asked amused, knowing if he said ‘a few times’ he probably hadn’t shut up about you. You had already suspected as much, considering how much the children had known about you before you had even stepped foot into the classroom.
Suga hummed, not really reacting to your teasing, instead his soft smile turning cocky as he said: “One of the mothers asked when we’re getting married.”
You sputtered at that, quickly averting your eyes as heat rose in your cheeks. Suga had known exactly what his statement would do to you and took delight in your reaction.
“We’re barely dating,” you told him, trying hard to regain your composure, still unable to meet his eyes, the idea of marrying Suga suddenly making hot butterflies dance in your stomach.
You heard Suga put down the figurines he had been holding, and a moment later he was standing in front of you, caging you against the table with both of his hands on either side leaning against the table.
“Well, maybe we should make it official,” he whispered against your ear, his voice low, but you knew him well enough to hear the nervousness that swung alongside his suggestion.
Turning your head, finally looking at him again, you found his dark eyes watching you carefully. There was still a hint of cockiness and playfulness left, but it was obvious how hard he tried to keep up the façade over the fear of rejection. For a moment you just studied him, his beautiful dark eyes, the faint freckles over his nose, the dark hair on his jaw where he had shaved just this morning, the soft bow of his lips.
Yeah, you thought to yourself, you most certainly wouldn’t mind making it official. The only reason you hadn’t asked him yet was because you hadn’t been certain whether he was certain. So instead of giving him a verbal answer, you just smiled at him shortly before leaning in and closing the gap between your lips.

promise - ceo!jeno x gn reader
i did not proofread and did not mean for this to be angsty i was listening to ttnidtafos by hannah bahng lol
you sighed as you focused your eyes back on the the words held in the pages, the remnants of a pout washing on your face. jeno had come home almost 3 hours ago, cellphone pressed to his ear as he slipped his shoes off; you got a quick kiss to your forehead before he was rushing down the hall, slamming the door to his office shut.
he promised you two would spend the evening together eating your favorite takeout and catching up on the newest season of your show. but as you watched the sun dip below the horizon through window, you begun to believe your businessman boyfriend had forgotten once again.
you slotted your bookmark between the pages before shutting your book, discarding it on the coffee table. your chest swelled with sadness as tears pricked the corners of your eyes. it was pathetic to be upset over this, jeno was a busy man and sometimes his mind gets jumbled up amidst all the work he has to do day-to-day. but it was another promise broken, another day yearning for the smallest touch, another night spent alone, waiting for his attention.
you pushed yourself to your feet, shuffling down the hall toward the room you despised most in this house. your hand nervously ghosted over the doorknob before you took a deep breath, opening the door. your eyes took in the sight of jeno parked at his desk, the sound of his keyboard and quiet murmurs as he read emails the only noise filling the otherwise quiet room.
“jeno?” you sound out, wringing your hands nervously. “yeah, love?” jeno answers, eyes never leaving the computer screen as his fingers furiously type away on the keyboard. tears welled in your eyes once again, “are you gonna be done with work soon?” you mumbled, already anticipating the answer. “probably not, sweetheart. we’re about to close on a pretty big deal, gotta make sure everything is prepared.” jeno replies.
“but you promised.” you squeaked, a single tear falling over your waterline. jeno perks up, hands leaving the keyboard for the first time in hours. “what was that, love?” his chair beginning to swivel in the direction of your voice. jeno’s face falls as he takes in your image: trying to stop your tears from falling as your knees shake ever so slightly.
“you promised we would spend the evening together… you forgot again!” you said through soft sobs. jeno glances at his watch before shooting up from his chair. “oh darling, i’m so sorry. i got caught up with work and lost track of time.” jeno coos as he closes the distance between you two, pulling you into his chest.
you try to pull away from his grasp, “you said that yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that. you pinky promised the day would be about us when you got home.” you refuted, keeping him at arms length. “i know, baby. i don’t have an excuse. we were supposed to close the deal today but the clients made last minute changes, i’ve been so preoccupied making sure everything is good, it slipped my mind..” jeno reasoned, overpowering your trembling arms and pulling you flush against him.
you sniffled, making no attempt to pull away. it felt good to be in his arms even though you were upset with him.
“i still have a few things to do, but i’ll call off now. tomorrow will be all about us.” jeno compromised, rubbing soothing circles into your shoulder blade. jeno separates from you, settling back into his chair before turning to you again. “c’mere love, you can sit on my lap until i’m done working.” jeno says softly, opening his arms as an invitation. you smile through your tears, shuffling to his desk before straddling his thighs, resting your head into the crook of his neck.
you close your eyes contently, listening to the clacking of the keyboard and the sound of jeno’s voice conversing with his assistant.
he’s keeping his promise this time.

could you do later seasons spencer x new bau reader but reader is very much sunshiney and ever since prison spencer is more black cat this can be ethier smut or fluff I just like the idea
hope this makes since lol
I Never Used to be Like This
Tumblr media
Before you joined the BAU, you had heard so many amazing things about all of the team members, past and present. However, you were most excited about meeting Dr Spencer Reid. From what you had heard, you thought that the two of you were going to quickly become fast friends, you had so much in common you thought that your friendship was an inevitability.
That all was tipped upside down on your first day on the job.
You had made sure that you got to the office early, not wanting to risk being late on your first day, ending up with you being the first one in the office. Soon, the rest of the team began to file in, each and every one of them welcoming you with open arms and making you feel at home instantly. Once you’d been introduced to everyone, you couldn’t help but notice that Spencer hadn’t turned up yet.
‘Spencer’ll be here soon,’ Luke said, handing you a cup of coffee, ‘he’s just had a rough couple of months, he’s not fully back to himself yet but he’ll get there. He’s a great guy though, the two of you will get along like a house on fire!’
Not long after, a tall man walked into the office and you couldn’t stop your breath from hitching in your throat when your eyes laid on him, causing Luke to let out a snot of laughter into his coffee cup. The man had longish brown hair that was just the right side of messy and he had a smattering of stubble littering his lower jaw. Wanting to make a good first impression, you headed over to where he was setting his messenger bag on top of his desk and held your hand out towards him.
‘Hi! I’m (Y/N), I’m new, you must be Spencer,’ you said cheerily, your enthusiasm dimming slightly when he looked down at your outstretched hand and waved at you slightly in return, a tight-lipped smile on his lips.
‘Dr Spencer Reid, nice to meet you,’ he said before turning his back to you and sitting at his desk. Not quite knowing what to do, you let your hand fall limply to your side as you made your way back to your desk and continued to set everything up, trying hard to ignore the embarrassed heat that had rushed into your cheeks.
---
You had been a part of the BAU for three weeks now and you were almost completely settled in; the only thing that still set you on edge was Spencer Reid. Ever since your first interaction, the two of you had barely spoken, Spencer always making sure the leave the room as soon as it was only the two of you. You tried not to let it bother you but you couldn’t help but wish you knew what you had done wrong in your first interaction with him.
It was late on a Friday night and you and Spencer were the only two people left in the office, everyone else having decided to leave early to get a head-start on their weekend. You were sitting at your desk, going through the pile on reports you had to get through while Spencer was in the boardroom, studying the evidence board that had been left up. All of a sudden, you heard a loud bang sound on the window. Turning around in your chair, you saw Spencer standing in the middle of the room, surrounded by paper scattered on the floor.
Without thinking, you jumped up and rushed into the boardroom, wanting to check that Spencer was okay.
‘What happened in here?’ you asked, leaning against the doorframe.
‘Nothing,’ Spencer muttered, keeping his back towards you as he bent down to start picking the papers up. You pushed yourself off of the doorframe and moved into the room to help him. ‘I don’t need any help,’ Spencer said, a cold sound to his voice that seemed to push you over the edge.
‘Seriously, Spencer, what have I done to you?!’ you exclaimed, making Spencer finally look at you. ‘Ever since I started here, you’ve seemed to have gone out of your way to make me feel unwelcome, you’ve spoken to me once and that was when I introduced myself. What did I say that pissed you off so much?!’
Spencer was quick to cut your sentence off by pulling you into him and crashing his lips onto yours. His grip was harsh on your hips as he held you against him as his tongue licked into your mouth. Your fingers came up to thread through his hair, a small growl coming from Spencer’s throat when you tugged lightly. Almost as quickly as it began, Spencer roughly shoved you away from him and ran his hands through his hair, watching as your chest moved up and down while you tried to catch your breath.
‘Spencer what’s going on?’
‘I’m not…good anymore,’ he said quietly, almost as if he was struggling to find the right words.
‘What do you mean?’ you asked, moving closer to him and tentatively taking his hand in yours. You watched as Spencer’s shoulders seemed to relax at the feel of your hand in his and he sighed heavily before leading you both over to some of the chairs that were around the table.
‘I never used to be like this. Prison changed me. I used to be this clean-cut, good guy and I just feel that prison kind of squashed that out of me and when I saw you on your first day, I knew that there was no way I could let myself near you because I’d never want to pull myself away and you don’t deserve that. You deserve someone who is good and doesn’t have a criminal record.’ He said the last part of his sentence under his breath, almost as if he didn’t want to admit it for himself.
‘Spencer, I don’t care that you went to prison, why would I? And you definitely don’t have the right to decide if you’re good for me or not, that’s a decision I can make for myself.’
‘You’re right,’ Spencer said heavily, ‘I’m sorry.’
You tried your luck and inched closer to him and pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek, your heart clenching in your chest when you heard his breath catch as you felt him lean into you. ‘Can we start again?’ you asked, your faces inches apart.
‘I’d really like that,’ Spencer whispered in reply.
You smiled at him softly before leaning back and holding your hand out to him. ‘Hi, my name’s (Y/N), I’m new here.’
‘Dr Spencer Reid, it’s really nice to meet you (Y/N),’ he said, smiling at you as he took your hand and shook it.

three days
roommate eren x f!reader
three years can feel like an eternity, if you let them
**find the mini-series masterlist here
content warning: eren being miserable, jean being annoying again, hitch being even worse
an: ok I promise we return to regularly scheduled sweet boy eren after this (which is almost done being written) :00000
previous part linked here
-
Eren doesn’t sleep well. Some part of him was always flighty - twisting and turning every time he heard a noise, the fan whirring, the room creaking. He’d been like that, since he was a kid.
His mom had mentioned that when she visited the nursery for the first time, right after he was born, that the only reason Zeke could point him out in the row of other boys was because he was rustling, struggling against his swaddle.
The only thing that put him at ease? Kept him still through the night? You. When you would still sleep in his bed.
The first night, after you so quickly mentioned that the two of you were a mistake, he couldn’t sleep. He could still smell you, your peach scent pressed against his pillows and his blankets. He runs his hand against his pillow cases, wishing you were here with him.
The following morning, it took him thirty minutes to brace himself. To face you. He has to fight the urge - to touch you, press himself against you and kiss you full on the mouth. Like he should have, when you asked him to.
He should have just done it. Maybe you’d still be here with him if he would have. Screw Zeke. All that shit about making a special moment, making your heart flutter. He should have just kissed you.
When you were in the bathroom, getting ready. When you put his necklace on, when he lost you in the crowd, when he carried you at the concert, when you kissed his fucking cheek, when you asked him to.
He braced himself. Deep breaths, grounding techniques. Just like Mikasa and Armin taught him. When he leaves the safe confines of his room, he finds that your key was off the hook and your sneakers were absent from the door. You left already. You’re avoiding him just as much as he’s avoiding you.
You don’t return that night. He’s okay with it. He can’t see you. Not yet anyways.
It worries him, the second day. You still haven’t returned. He couldn’t have messed up that badly, could he? You couldn’t hate him this much, so much so that you wouldn’t come home.
He marches over to the office, where Armin, Jean, and Annie are supposed to be. He’s hoping you’ll be there. That he’ll open the door and find you there, sprawled across the floor like you usually are.
But you’re not. Just Jean, Armin, and Annie - staring him down.
“What’s wrong with you, Eren? Why are you…panting?”
“Nothing, Annie. I just thought Y/N might be here.”
“She’s out of town. Left a late notice yesterday morning for Victor.”
“Oh. Okay.”
“She didn’t tell you?”
“No. Must have been in a rush. I didn’t even see her before she left.”
Armin and Annie return to their work, Annie typing on her computer and Armin grading his papers.
“I saw her before she left.”
Of course he did.
“How did she seem, Jean?”
“Well, a little bit earlier. She came to our apartment after she met Hitch.”
Right. When you ran out, after he handed you the tulips.
“Well, what did she say?”
“Nothing much. Just asked me who she was, that’s all.”
“And what did you say?”
“Just the usual. That you guys pretended to see each other during soccer season, because of Marlowe.”
“You didn’t tell her that I liked Hitch, right? That I’m with her or anything?”
“No. Just that you guys are close during season because you spend time together and all.”
There goes any hope of it being a misunderstanding. He doesn’t sleep that night either. Your scent on his pillows serves as a cruel reminder.
The third day, Hitch comes by. You’re still not back and he hates it. He’s had to throw the breakfast he made for you away twice, because he keeps forgetting you’re not here.
“Are we still on?”
“Yeah, Hitch. None of the other stuff, okay?”
“Sure. Marlowe should be at the games and parties, so just then.”
If he can’t be happy, someone should. He doesn’t mind it, holding Hitch’s hand here and there, slinging his arm around her shoulder to make Marlowe mad. To push the two of them together. He just wished it would do something to you, so you’d come running back to him too.
The second she leaves, all he can think about is your absence. It’s all he thinks about anyways. He hates that it’s true. That distance makes the heart fonder.
That’s all he wants to do. Just see you. He doesn’t care how you are - angry, pissed, detached from him. He just wants to see you, in your kitchen. He wants to hear you, singing in the shower, and watch you, sitting in the stands at his games.
He just wants you back. In whichever way you’ll have him.
He doesn’t sleep that third night either. Your peach smell is gone from his pillows already. He hates the passing of time.
 -
You return, in the dead of night. He’s sure of it. He can hear you out there, your tiny footsteps clinking the dishes into the sink.
He nearly runs out the door, just to make sure you’re there. And you are, rinsing the dishes he left out. You’re back.
He fights the urge. To run up to you, press you against his chest, to pepper soft kisses all over your face.
“Y/N.”
“Hey Eren.”
God. Your voice. He didn’t realize that this was something he could miss - your voice, the stray hairs by your ears, the sound of your breathing. But here he is. Reveling at the sight of you. Doing the fucking dishes.
He walks up, pressing his hands against your frame and leaning his head against your shoulders. He can smell it - the peach smell. It makes his heart ache and he tries to will down the tears. He loves you, doesn’t he?
God. He can’t love you, can he?
“Am I imagining you or are you really here?”
“Really here, Eren.”
You’re back. He won’t let you leave again.
“I haven’t seen you in three days.”
“I went to see Porco and Pieck for the weekend.”
“It’s Tuesday. I was worried about you.”
“Sorry Eren.”
He can’t even do it. Be mad at you, tell you he was hurting the past few days. He can’t even remember it now, the feel of your skin against his hands was enough.
“It’s okay. You wake up Porco and Pieck with your morning concert while you were there?”
Your voice doesn’t fill the air, the sound of the plate in your hand crashing does. He immediately jerks up, your hands still dangerously close to the shards that were now swirling around in the water. Before he can pull your hands out, run his eyes over your fingers to make sure you weren’t hurt, you mutter three words that catch him off guard.
“Screw you, Eren.”
He can feel his breath stopping in his tracks. He’d never heard you like this, especially with him. Your voice was soft, sweet honey saccharine. Even when you were fast asleep, all tangled up in his sheets. So why were you angry?
“What?”
“I’m so sick of you making fun of me all the time. If something I do annoys you, you should just tell me, instead of making passive aggressive comments.”
Making fun of you? All the time? You couldn’t be serious. There’s no way you misunderstood that. He loves your singing - that you’re comfortable enough to scream in the shower when he’s a few feet away. That the music makes you happy enough to sing out loud, to dance in the kitchen, to share it with him. This couldn’t come out of nowhere. Because you have to know. You have to know that he loves it.
“Hey, what happened, peaches? You could never annoy me. I was just teasing you.”
He watches his words hit you, the air tightening in his chest at the sight of you pushing your hands against your eyes. No. No. He couldn’t have made you cry.
“You happened. I’m not something for you to laugh at Eren. I have feelings too, you know?”
He watches you move, slamming your door against the frame as you scurry into your room.
He doesn’t understand it. How you were tangled in his arms, breathing soft against his ears as he kissed you four days ago and now you can’t stand him. He hates it, that he knows how you feel, your touch. Maybe it would be easier if he hadn’t known it at all.
“We’re okay, right?”
The question comes three days later, one of the first times you and Eren had been alone in your apartment, since your argument. You kept inviting people over, so you could avoid this. That look, that question, talking about it.
You nod, wordlessly, sorting out the paperwork. It’s easier to focus on the papers than his eyes.
Eren had mentioned that the two of you needed to go into town tomorrow, to meet your landlord. Kenny Ackerman. He was apparently a touch eccentric, so he was preparing you for the meeting. You just had to officially sign onto the lease. But how do you tell Eren you’re not even sure you can live with him anymore?
“How have you been? Lately?”
You hate this. Be cool about it.
“Good, Eren. Just busy. How about you?”
“I’m good too. Soccer season and all that.”
You wish he was kind enough to be cruel about it. That he could either love you or hate you - nothing in between. You’d prefer that, him declaring he doesn’t care for you. It would be easier that way. But he stays the same - caring, thoughtful, warm.
“When’s your next game?”
“Today.”
“Got your good luck charm?”
“It broke actually.”
He opens the kitchen drawer, pulling out the key and the snapped chain. He hands the pieces to you, as you run your fingers along the chain.
“What are you going to do?”
“Not sure. Let’s hope I don’t break an arm or something.”
“What do you mean?”
“I’ve worn that necklace every game I’ve played since I was twelve. One time I forgot it and I broke my ankle.”
You laugh, twisting the key in your fingers, as you look at him.
“You can’t be serious, right? That’s just a coincidence.”
“It’s real.”
“Did it ever happen again, Eren?”
“No. Do you think I’d ever play a game without it? That’s like basically asking for it.”
You laugh, the two of you stuck in the middle of the kitchen. You hate this. That he can make you laugh, even after not talking for a week. That some part of him is always familiar to you, that you want to let him in.
“Do you still have the necklace I gave you?”
At the concert.
“Ah yeah.”
He digs his fingers underneath his shirt, pulling the silver chain out. You spin your finger, signaling for him to turn around. You quickly take the latch off and string the key through the chain before securing it back on. You tap his shoulder and he faces you again, watching you readjust and tuck the necklace back into his jersey.
“Thanks peaches. Saving my life here.”
“Yeah, yeah.”
Sometimes you forget why you’re mad at him. Why you can’t do this. Hitch walks out of Eren’s room, right on cue, with green glitter spread across her face. Right. That’s why.
“Hey Rennie. Still can’t find it.”
“I’m not sure what I did with it, Hitch.”
“Have you seen it, Y/N?”
“Seen what?”
“His extra jersey. I wanted to wear it to the game today.”
Right. The jersey he gave you. To wear to all his games.
“I think it might have gotten mixed up with my laundry. I’ll go check my room.”
You retrieve the jersey from your room, your knuckles nearly white when you hand it over to Hitch to wear to the game. You make a mental note to fold and return the rest of Eren’s clothes you had and put them in his room. There’s no point in keeping them at this point. She gives you a smile, taking the jersey to go change into.
“You didn’t have to give it to her.”
“What do you mean?”
“I gave it to you for a reason.”
“I don’t mind. It makes sense anyways - girlfriends always wear jerseys to the games.”
“She’s not my girlfriend.”
“I know.
Girlfriend, fling, your roommate you kiss sometimes. It’s all the same thing. As much as you think you’ve given everything, that there’s nothing more that can hurt you, the universe proves you wrong.
You’re sure it’s all the same with her too - kissing scars, pretty dresses, soft kisses. It’s a bad omen, but you hope it hurts for her as much as it does for you, when it’ll end.

Snow crunches under your boots and the chilly air seeping through your coat feels different. This would be your first serious winter storm and you already sense it approaching.
Yanking open the blacksmith’s door, a wave of heat washes over and you sigh.
Thankfully Frankie’s shop is still open and you almost cry relieved.
“Sorry!” You apologize walking further towards the counter. “I know there’s five minutes left before closing, but I just wanted to swing by!”
You wanted to pick up your newly forged ax before the storm hit and of course…
You wanted to see him.
Autumn kept you so busy with the farm and the fall festival. Now you hope to see more of your favorite blacksmith.
Waiting for him, your eyes wander.
The shop, with its eternal flame flickering, holds so much personality in its walls. A military pilot flag hangs by the front. The low radio plays a soft rock ballad. A bulletin board by the side of the counter is covered in various flyers and photos. Your favorite snapshots are one of a smiling little baby girl with sweet chubby cheeks you still haven’t gotten to ask Frankie who she is. There’s another photo of a group of men in military uniform.
It’s all so familiar and welcoming now.
With all the time in the mines, you wonder if maybe your pickaxe needs work too. Sliding your backpack off, you examine your trusty tool. Worn, but not weathered, the steel speaks of the craftsmanship and skill of the blacksmith who first forged it for you.
“You waiting for that tool to do something or should I leave you two alone?”
Frankie.
You fight back a smile when his warm deep teasing voice floats in.
Frankie wasn’t this easy going with you at first. He kept his distance, was polite but rather reserved.
“He’s just shy. He was like that when I first moved in too,” Leah, your closest friend here in the valley, reassured you one night at the saloon.
Now those beautiful gem eyes of Francisco Morales blaze straight at you as he walks towards the counter. Wearing his trademark baseball cap you playfully glare at him.
“I’m just checking to see if I need to complain to my blacksmith about my pickaxe needing work.” You quip back to him.
“Oh well shit, thank god that isn’t me.” Frankie smirks and you snort at his comment.
Frankie reminds you of the flames and steel he works with. Hard working and gently intense, yet a warmth gleams beneath him and fills an entire room just like the heat from his kilns.
“You just had to come in five minutes before I closed huh?” Frankie sighs dramatically.
You think he’s teasing but guilt still strikes you quick. Rambling out apologies, you scramble to explain how it’s mainly for precaution with the storm coming.
“I can always come back later!” You urge panicking.
He chuckles, cozily deep, and you sputter to a stop.
“I kid little farmer, I kid.”
That nickname he so casually gave to you just this month sparks an electric warmth through your entire body. You weakly laugh back, not able to fully process a reply.
Frankie’s gorgeous features, his striking nose, and his warm eyes disarm you in a way that makes your knees want to fold.
He moves around the tables and workbenches to pull out your ax.
“There it is!” You happily cheer.
Frankie even playfully shows off the sleek new tool like he’s a hostess in a daytime game show and you clap appreciatively while you laugh. It surprises you how silly sometimes Frankie can be.
Moving back to the counter he places your ax onto it. Then he leans towards you and begins explaining what upgrades he did.
You should be listening, but you can’t. Not with him leaning so close to you.
You’ve had an embarrassing crush on Frankie since the first moment Mayor Lewis introduced you to him. But with how busy you’ve been settling into the valley, along with how shy and reserved Frankie is, your feelings simply have stayed crystallizing inside you.
Frankie’s diligent eyes are so focused on his work and it’s beautiful. He’s beautiful. How dedicated he is to his craft, how quietly passionate he is, you yearn to fall into him more.
Suddenly Frankie’s eyes flicker up and catch you staring at him. In a panic your gaze snaps down to your tool.
“Yup! Looks like it can still cut a tree! Good job, Morales.” You lamely reply and Frankie snorts.
You do sincerely thank him and even offer to get him coffee for making him stay this late.
Frankie waves you off casually. “Maybe next time, besides you gotta get home before the storm hits.”
He’s right. There's still so much you need to do before the night comes. The clatter of Frankie slowly shutting everything down for the night draws you out of your thoughts.
“Do you need any help?” You offer.
“Nah, I’m good. Plus I don’t need your pretty hands getting burned.” Frankie replies back.
Although he’s not looking at you, his sly compliment sends a spark through your body.
Scrambling to put your ax in its guard and then shoving it into your backpack, you thank Frankie again and plan to quietly leave.
“Wait!” Frankie suddenly calls out and you freeze.
“Wait, don’t head out yet. Let me walk you home.”
The chill from outside settles into the shop now that the fires are extinguished. Yet, Frankie’s words ignite a dizzying heat.
“Oh no it’s okay!” You quickly stammer out as a nervous energy spikes in you.
You know he lives besides the forge. It wouldn’t make sense for him to walk you home then have to head the way back here.
The lights from the back area turn off and Frankie already walks out towards you with his coat on.
Your eyes go wide.
“Come on.” He gently nudges you with his kind eyes and your body moves on autopilot.
Once outside the cold galvanizes you. The sky above stretches out a misty blue while the edges of evening’s midnight coloring slowly creeps in.
The entire walk back to your farm Frankie stays in step with you. The conversation is light, easy, simple talk of how his and your day went. Your heart hammers in your chest. Yet, it’s comforting to have someone beside you. He’s warm and stays close.
Now your farm stretches before you a soft welcome home. Frankie, like the gentleman he is, walks you to the door.
Appreciative, you warmly thank him and wish him a safe trip back home.
“Thanks and stay warm, little farmer.” He grins softly, kind.
After a sweet wave goodbye to him, you walk off the porch to do all the final errands before you call it a night.
“Wait, what’re you doing?” Frankie suddenly calls out and curiosity colors his voice.
You glance back and see he hasn’t moved an inch.
With an eased sleepy smile you tell him you have a few last minute things you need to do. Like check on your winter seeds, double check the coop and then make sure the pipes are covered.
“You need help?” He warmly asks concerned and sincere.
“Oh no, I’m good I promise!” You reply. If you were braver you’d joke about not wanting to hurt his pretty hands.
“Besides, you need to get home.” You firmly tell him.
It’s getting darker, not completely night out, but you feel guilty for Frankie walking out here.
So with one final sigh you give him a warm goodbye.
“Stay warm tonight, Morales.”
Frankie quietly grins back and you hope he makes it home safe. Now your focus turns to the small field and you kneel before it.
Your winter seeds aren’t ready just yet. A dread fills you wondering if they will last against the storm.
“What are you growing?”
Frankie.
You didn’t even hear his footsteps in the snow. Whipping your head up you watch Frankie lean down to squat beside you.
“You should be walking home!” You cry out surprised.
Frankie shrugs sleepily. “It’s still early, I’ll be fine.”
You make an indignant squeak that makes him chuckle. Frankie’s eyes return to the little saplings still making their way through the snow, stubbornly growing against the harsh winter.
“They’re just winter seeds.” You sigh explaining how you’ve been growing them mainly for the experience and money.
“You think they’re gonna make it?” He asks gently.
You hope so.
You’re about to get up when Frankie quickly stands above with his hand outstretched to you. Even though your hands are gloved and so are his, a flutter runs through your chest when you place your hand in his. Frankie lifts you up effortlessly and you thank him, trying to steady yourself.
“Alright, what’s next?” Frankie asks light.
“For you to go home, Morales!” You laugh.
“Well you’re walking towards the barn so…kinda doesn’t seem like you’re finished yet.” Frankie comments almost shyly as he stays walking beside you.
“I’m not, but I don’t need your help. Go home!” You urge with a weak laugh. Frankie simply shrugs.
Sliding open the coop door, warmth begs you to come inside. You’re thankful for investing in those barn heaters.
“Your chickens are so big.” Frankie admires quietly in awe at the sleeping birds.
You smile while double checking the coop. Everything seems secure and safe for whatever might come this way tonight.
Stepping back outside the cold air seems still, quiet.
“You need to head home.” You tell him sternly, more worried than ever about his walk back to town.
“What’s next?” He asks with steeled resolve in his voice with no sign of leaving.
“Go home Francisco.” You firmly urge saying his full name.
But then you catch the sight of your pipes and sigh. So you almost did forget to wrap them.
“You didn't wrap your pipes?” He sounds a bit worried.
“I thought I did earlier…” Now you’re extra grateful for double checking.
When the first snow came at the start of winter, everyone reassured you the pipes would be fine. It was during harder snow storms, blizzards, that you needed to be careful. And now one approaches fast.
Frankie follows you inside the house to grab the necessary materials.
You can’t even process him being in your home for the first time. Simply on a mission you and him work together swiftly grabbing duck tape, a ratty old towel and head to the pipes.
It’s a swift team effort. In minutes, the pipes are securely wrapped safely and snug. You and him even share a triumphant high five.
“I wish I could invite you in for a thank you hot chocolate but you need to head home now.” You press.
Frankie, with his hands in his coat pockets, shrugs easily.
“I can stay for some thank you hot coco.” He offers.
“You gotta get home before the storm hits!” You shriek.
He waves you off casually. “It’s not coming till later tonight I’ll be fine. Now come on, don’t you wanna impress me with your hot chocolate skills?”
The smirk he gives you is so boyishly charming, almost like he’s daring you to invite him in.
This side of him is rare. You’ve only seen him get this smug and cocky at the saloon during a game of darts. Now your heart flutters fast in your chest.
“Come on,” He pouts. “Think of this as a way to help keep me warm on the walk back.”
He makes a point. The panic of wanting him to make it home safe before the storm, becomes smaller against the thought of spending more time with this man.
To have this man in your home.
So with a sigh of defeat you crack. Nudging your chin towards the door, you let Frankie in.
He’s in your home now. You need to stay composed.
You do have budding feelings for him, something that’s evolved out of the simple crush you had. And having him here in your home feels like dipping your toe into the deep end of a pool before jumping in. But you shake those thoughts away.
“Your place is nice.” Frankie admires and you thank him.
It’s still small, cozy now that you’re slowly allowing yourself to fully settle into the old bones of your grandpa’s home.
You want to say more until Frankie’s stomach suddenly growls.
Looking at him with surprised eyes, he stares back with beautiful eyes the size of the full moons.
“Shit.”
You laugh at his panicked response.
“You okay with maybe staying and having a quick dinner or should I really kick you out so you can head home?” You leave the option up to him, place the ball in his court.
Frankie with the most bashful smile slides off his coat.
“Dinner sounds great, little farmer.”
Your heart floats up and gets tangled in your throat, but it’s incredible.
You have the leftover lasagna Evelyn gave you as a thank you. But you also think of the soup recipe you've been dying to make for this weather.
So you leave it up to your guest for the night.
“Soup or leftover lasagna?” You offer light.
Frankie’s eyebrows scrunched together adorable, thinking hard at the two options, and you keep back a giggle.
“Will the soup take you a while to make?” He sounds sweetly concerned.
You swear it will take less than twenty minutes.
“Soup it is.” Frankie grins and it touches his eyes.
You begin grabbing the various ingredients and hate how hyper aware you feel even in your own house.
“So what can I help with?” Frankie now slides beside you and you almost squeak in surprise.
For someone who makes so much noise when he works, you find he’s rather quiet, swift.
“You’re my guest, so don’t worry. Plus you’ve helped enough!” You shoo him away and don’t miss the way he playfully glares at you.
Conversation again unfolds effortlessly with him. Frankie talks about how Mayor Lewis was in the shop earlier bragging about you hitting a full year in the valley.
“And here I thought everyone had stopped gossiping about me.” You snort lightly and start grabbing the bowls.
It will be a full year since you moved to your grandpa’s family farm. However, you wonder when the newness of you living here will subside.
“There’s… still some gossip of course. Small town after all.” Frankie admits shyly, like a school boy admitting a secret.
“But don’t worry, I don’t let any of ‘em talk bad about you in my shop.” Frankie, endearingly sweet, adds. His words knock you breathless and you almost drop the bowls.
“I knew I could count on you, Morales.” You manage to say with a grin.
Thankfully quick, the soup turns out comforting and delicious. Frankie even gushes about how incredible it is and your ego inflates wild.
“Thanks so much for dinner.” Frankie beams with the brightness of a sun.
“Please, I’m the one who’s thankful for all your help.” You earnestly tell him.
“Plus, it’s nice to have good company for dinner.” You add.
“I understand,” Frankie nods. “Gets a bit quiet around my place too. S’nice to change it up.”
A dual sided emotion settles in you. You ache understanding but also yearn to uncover more about this beautiful and sturdy man.
Before you can dive more into this discussion, Frankie’s phone rings wild and loud. Hastily scrambling to grab it, once he discovers who’s calling his face drops for a flicker of a moment.
“Sorry little farmer, but gotta excuse myself real quick is that alright?” His voice wavers.
Of course you earnestly reassure him and even direct him to the bathroom so he can talk in private. Frankie thanks you graciously then rushes out.
The house is quiet and he didn’t fully close the bathroom door fully. So his conversation leaks out enough for you to catch it.
“Wait, so you wannna just spring this on me now?” His voice slices out sharp. You’ve never heard Frankie sound this upset.
“Yes of course I’m gonna take her. But do you know how fucking shitty this is, Diana? Did you even think about my schedule before you fucking planned this trip?” He snaps.
You’ve also never heard him curse and it snaps your snipe straight. He sighs incredibly frustrated and angered, allowing whoever is on the phone to talk.
“Oh yeah, yeah, real fucking nice. Always make me the bad guy, right?”
Then Frankie starts speaking fast and low in Spanish you can’t catch what he’s saying. His tone however feels barbed and venomous.
So many questions bubble up. You believe you heard the name ‘Diana’ but this could be a conversation about anything.
Now thinking about it, even though you’ve been here almost a full year… you don’t know much about Frankie personally and that truth sinks your heart.
Silence now settles into your home until Frankie’s footsteps echo returning down the hall.
“I’m so sorry.” Frankie’s voice jolts the air but with a deep sadness. “I think I’m gonna have to save that cup of hot chocolate for another day.”
You kind of figured. Besides, you didn’t want him to get caught in the storm.
Outside the air has chilled, but thankfully the snow hasn’t begun.
“Had a great time tonight, thanks again for having me for.” An earnest grace radiates from his words.
You’re the one who’s truly thankful for him and you repeatedly tell him that.
Unfortunately a dread hits you. You want to make sure he makes it home. Your worry must be evident on your face because Frankie’s eyes cloud with caution.
“Wait, what’s wrong?”
When you tell him, a beautiful relief melts on Frankie’s face that you almost wish you could capture.
“Oh come on, that’s easy to fix, little farmer.”
He pulls out his phone and hands it to you.
He’s asking for your number.
Your heart beats so rapidly in your ears when you type your digits in.
“I’ll message you when I get home. Promise.” His warm voice is gilded with truth.
“Stay safe okay Frankie?” You tell him and his gorgeous eyes soften.
“Yeah, will do. And you stay safe too okay, little farmer? Stay warm and if you need anything.”
He holds his phone up and playfully wiggles it, a signal to say you should call him. You smile unbearably big and stay on the porch watching him leave until he vanishes from your sight.
You keep busy so you’re not simply staring at your phone waiting for his message. You clean up the remnants of dinner and feel comforted seeing two bowls in your sink.
Then your phone chimes and you scramble.
An message from an unknown number:
[Made it home safe!]
Another message flickers in.
[Also this is Frankie btw :)]
[Hi! 🪓]
The little ax emoji he adds makes you giggle giddy over how adorable this man can be.
You add his name and contact info into your phone. It warms you better than any sip of hot chocolate could.

“Why do we even gotta celebrate ice?” One of the kids, you think Vincent, shouts that as you reach the edge of the forest and you snicker.
When you heard about the festival of ice, it simply sounded like a way for the town to break up the winter days. But it also reminded you how earnest and endearing the town can be.
Your heart jumps fast spotting Frankie bundled in his cozy jacket. He stands close to Willy and the two of them talk low, completely engaged with each other.
Whatever they’re discussing seems serious, evident in Frankie’s hard frown and Willy’s unusual somber expression. You decide not to interrupt them.
The fishing game is the highlight of the festival and to no shock the town’s head fisherman wins.
“It’s rigged.” You tease Willy and his hearty laugh is contagious.
“Don’t worry, next year you’ll be puttin’ me to shame.” Willy proudly declares.
When the event concludes for the day, Frankie already walks off without saying a word to you.
You try not to think about it too much.
When you’re about to head to bed, you find a message alert on your phone.
Frankie:
[Good try with the fishing tournament today! Sorry I didn’t get to talk to you today… have a lot of stuff going on. Also Willy wins every year. Think Lewis even adds fish into his crate to make sure it happens lol you’re the real winner in my book ]
You laugh as warmth balloons rapidly in your chest.
This message feels like a true victory for the day and it carries you for the rest of the week. Especially with how hard and brisk this final season of the year is.
Everyone warned you winter would be tough, and with your greenhouse still unfixed you’re realizing how true the warning is.
The days drag and bleed together. You throw yourself into the mines trying to gather more resources but that drains you fast. So you start doing a few errands around town to break up the days.
When Frankie requests a certain amount of wood you scramble quickly to complete the errand.
Inside the blacksmith shop, the familiar warmth greets you. However when Frankie walks out, a weariness looms over him. Heavy bangs hang around his eyes even as he smiles thin.
“Hey.” His voice is weary.
“Hey.” You reply back hesitantly. “I uh…have the wood you asked for.”
“Oh shit really?” He perks up. “Thanks, little farmer.”
You beam proud knowing you managed to at least brighten his day a little.
“Wait here, let me get your payment.”
You almost want to tell him that wasn’t necessary, but Frankie scrambles for his wallet.
“So, how ya been?” He asks.
“Good.” You partially lie. “How have you been?”
“Good.” He answers quickly, however you sense a lie buried.
You weakly smile. Exhausted, Frankie barely grins back and a pang pierces through you.
“Hey… Frankie.” You begin weakly. Frankie, midway pulling out your payment, freezes and blinks towards you.
“Yeah, little farmer what’s up?”
You know this might not mean much but you want to at least tell him.
“I just…” the words get stuck in your throat but with a deep inhale you unclog them.
“You just seem tired. I appreciate how hard you work but I just hope you get some rest when you can.” You tell him earnestly. “And… if there’s anything bothering you, I just wanted you to know you can always talk to me.”
You finish and hope you didn’t overstep.
Frankie’s gemstone eyes flicker stunned and then he sighs.
For the first time, Frankie slips his very notable baseball cap off and runs a hand over his hair.
His soft hat hair, the way you get this new glimpse of Frankie, lights something within your chest. You’ve never seen him without his cap. When he slips the baseball hat back on, his eyes seem cloudy and downcast.
“Thanks little farmer, appreciate it.” He mutters with another sigh. “It’s just stupid shit with my ex wife that’s taking longer than I expected to work out.”
Frankie’s words catapult you straight out of the atmosphere and your blood runs cold.
Ex wife.
Frankie was married before.
“I shouldn’t let it bother me and I don’t wanna be that type of ex husband, but holy shit she can be so damn difficult.” He shakes his head.
This feels like you’re meeting him again for the first time. But you’re grateful he’s sharing this with you.
“I’m sorry you have to deal with this and with her being difficult.” You reply with a soft comfort.
“You’re a good guy Frankie. I hope she doesn’t make you forget that.” You add, meaning those words.
You and him might have just recently become closer, but this entire year you’ve been living in Pelican Town Frankie’s been so sincerely kind. Always being patient with you and how awful you sometimes are to your poor tools. Even just seeing his soft shy smile when you run into him has brightened your day many times.
Frankie’s eyes finally flicker to you. They search your face like he’s waiting for you to react.
His mouth opens slightly.
Then he says your name, breathes it out, and it kickstarts a wild flutter in your heart.
But the door suddenly yanks open wildly behind you, cutting him off rapidly.
Robin, the town’s ever handy carpenter, arrives with a warm welcome drawing all the attention to her. The moment flutters away with her entrance. With a fast goodbye to Frankie and a swift warm greeting to Robin, you scramble fast to leave.
“Wait I didn’t-”
You don’t even wait to hear what Frankie has to say before you’re out of the door and back into the cold winter air. With so many thoughts buzzing in your head like angry hornets you simply head to the mines.
You stay there until the dead of night and drag your body back to farm. Even with how tired you are, your mind still thinks of a certain blacksmith.
The next morning there are two letters waiting for you. One is from Lewis reminding you of the upcoming Winter Star festival. The other is from Frankie.
Your heart jumps fast.
Little farmer,
Thanks for thinking of me and wanting to look out for me. Appreciate it a lot. Also you forgot your payment yesterday, silly! Don’t work yourself too hard either. So you get some rest too, alright?
Hope you swing by again and maybe soon we’ll have time for that hot chocolate :)
He not only sent you the payment for the errand but also a sweet pack of maple bars.
An overwhelming sweetness consumes you and you wish it never leaves.
The next day you plan to make Frankie a hot chocolate to bring him in the morning. But you realize you used the last remaining bits a few nights ago when you snuggled in for a cozy reading night. You mentally kick yourself but decide a green tea will hopefully be the best second option.
The minute Frankie’s shop opens you’re there the first one inside.
“You’re here early.” Frankie greets you with crinkled smiling eyes.
“Thought I’d stop by before I head to the mines.” You reply back brightly.
“It’s not hot cocoa, but I hope it’s a nice treat.” You offer lightly while you hand him the cozy to go drink.
“You got this for me? Thanks so much.” Your heart flutters hearing how warm his voice gets.
He takes a sip and his eye brows shoot up under the cover of his hat. Oh no. Does he not like it?
“Is this green tea?” His voice jumps so excited. “I love green tea!”
His brilliant smile creates a sun bursting light in your chest and you’re a bit grateful now you ran out of hot chocolate.

Gus is a full five minutes into his handmade candy cane discussion and while you adore the endearing saloon owner, you can only take so much.
The feast of the evening star still warms and eases you though. The twinkling decorations, the absolute grand festive tree, the delicious food - it’s all a cozy blanket to soak into.
So you allow dear Gus to ramble about his candy canes while you sip on your warm drink.
“So who’s your secret gift recipient?”
Frankie’s soft but playful voice catches you off guard and you almost sputter out your drink.
You caught sight of him earlier but he was busy laughing with Pierre and Caroline. Then you got caught up in greeting everyone. Now you’re thankful to finally talk to him.
“You know that’s a secret.” You playfully glare at him.
The blacksmith simply shrugs but the amusement tugging his lips makes you smile.
A beautiful flush crawls over Frankie’s face. A kaleidoscopic joy sparkles in his deep eyes. He seems better and joy fills you.
“So does that mean you’re not gonna tell me what your winter star wish is?” He asks light.
You roll your eyes, but giddiness consumes you fast.
“You tell me yours and I’ll tell you mine.” You surprisingly coyly reply.
Frankie snorts and his face crinkles up adorable.
“If I told ya, you probably wouldn’t even believe me.” He says casually then takes a sip of his drink.
“Wait,” you reply back. “Now you gotta tell me.”
Frankie doesn’t reply for a moment.
In the stillness of this moment, you notice how close he is. He’s leaning right beside you that you can smell the faint smoke of his work, and a crisp cologne you’ve never noticed before.
Then, you see it. His stunning amber gemstone eyes flicker to your lips.
It’s fast, happens in a breath of a moment. Your throat dries. You blame the warm food and festive atmosphere, but you ache to lean closer.
Before you can react or even wait for Frankie’s next move, Mayor Lewis claps loudly, breaking the spell.
“Time to exchange gifts everybody!” He declares.
Your body feels electric and immediately you try settling yourself down. You needed to give your gift.
Jodi, the sweet mother she is, deserves a nice sweet treat and you surprise her with a fully cooked chocolate cake. Her warm excited reaction is a treat itself.
Evelyn, ever the kind grandmother, gives you a pack of her delicious and warm cookies. You hug her tight thanking her.
The festival concludes with a gentle end and fizzles out softly. The clean up is eased, relaxed, and by the time it’s finished an unfortunately long yawn takes over you.
“Can I walk ya home, little farmer? You seem tired.”
Frankie again, so stealthy, suddenly appears out of thin air.
You squeak out a quick yes and his face melts soft.
“So a full year down huh? Hope we haven’t scared you off too badly.” Frankie offers hopeful.
It has been a year, feels like so much yet so little has been composed into your new life here in Pelican Town. You think of the dilapidated community center you’ve been keeping an eye on and working on.
You’ve taken this new journey slowly, at your own pace. You can almost hear your grandpa’s voice cheering you on saying just take it one step at a time.
“No way.” You laugh answering Frankie’s question. If anything, you’ve grown more attached to the valley than you ever imagined. You even tell Frankie this and his face lights up so beautifully it rivals the festival tree standing in the town plaza.
“Everything work out with your ex?” You ask gently and then sputter out an apology if you’ve overstepped.
Frankie chuckles. “Nah, I’m glad we can talk about it.”
That comforts you.
“And yeah, thankfully everything worked out.” Frankie grins sleepily. “I’m still really sorry you had to hear that.”
“No worries! And like what you just said, I’m glad I can be here for you. That’s what friends are for, remember?” You reassure him.
“Yeah, friends.” The way his voice hangs on the word friends gets tangled in your chest.
A quietness clouds the walk.
“So Gus tell you about homemade candy canes?” Until Frankie’s light voice breaks the silence and you laugh.
It might have been a slow start becoming friends with Frankie. But you’re glad, grateful, to finally arrive here.
Arriving at your farm you thank Frankie again.
“If it wasn’t so late I really would invite you in for that hot chocolate I’ve been promising you.” You sigh. You even begged Gus for a new pack just to be stocked up.
“Don’t worry about it. There will be another night, promise.” His words are gilded in a promise you want to treasure.
He suddenly says your name and now under the light of your porch, Frankie seems bashful as his eyes flicker around.
“I, uh, kind of have something for you.”
That takes you by surprise.
“Couldn’t give it to you earlier cause I know Mayor Lewis would’ve had my ass.” Frankie dryly snorts and then pulls out something concealed in the classic brown paper wrapping he uses at his shop.
“Happy feast of the winter star, little farmer.” He delicately hands it to you and your eyes feel as if they’re going to pop out any moment.
You cry in protest that he didn’t need to get you anything and guilt rushes in. You didn’t get him anything.
“Eh,” he shrugs. “No pasa nada.”
You’ve only caught small bits of him speaking Spanish before and now hearing him speak so casual sounds beautiful.
Unwrapping the surprise gift, you discover he got you an iridium bar and you inhale sharply.
You haven’t even been able to forge one yet. The most precious, coveted, type of metal bar and he just casually gave one to you right now.
“Francisco Morales, this is too much!” You shriek.
He laughs buoyantly and loud at your reaction.
“Trust me, it’s not. Besides, seen how hard you work. How much you do for me and the town. You deserve it.”
You don’t want to get emotional, but the tears clogging your throat say otherwise. Those tears and the bubbling emotions, gratitude and all other shades of thankfulness, overtake you. Before you can stop yourself you rush to Frankie and collide into him.
You hug him best as you can but realize what you’ve just done. You don’t even know if he’s okay with close contact like this.
Immediately Frankie wraps you in his arms and squeezes you back. He’s all encompassing, beautifully so.
Your mind, your thoughts, everything melt as you embrace him back.
“Thank you.” You earnestly tell him.
“Anytime.” Frankie whispers back.
You would never tell Frankie this… but your winter star wish came true because you couldn’t have wished for a better way to bid such a sweet farewell to this season here in the valley.

Lucy & Cooper: Eye to Eye
A/N: So short but needed it out of my head. Vague spoilers for the end of Fallout's first season, so be aware.
L & C: Eye to Eye
Vaultie doesn’t talk much for the first couple of days.
Coop tries not to dwell on it—lot easier for him, lot safer for them, if she keeps her mouth shut. Just…well, hell, it’s one of those things that niggles at him, twitching in the back of his mind like a worm on a hook. Dumb fuckin’ fish that he is, Coop lets it draw him in.
The ghoul gives her a once-over as they settle in for the night. Blood’s still crusted on her uniform, near the corner of her mouth, some of it flecked into her hair. A mottled bruise stretches across her cheek and up over her temple, purple at its center before paling to yellows and greens on the edges. Coop knows it hurts, but Vaultie doesn’t say shit.
A noose and a prolonged stay on death’s door, dehydration, and irradiation hadn’t shut her up, but she’s sitting there, staring into the fire, all banged up and silent.
Cooper chews a sardine ponderously. There’s no taste, not anymore, just the tension of flesh and little bones giving way beneath his teeth. He grunts before sliding the rest of the tray across to her. Vaultie doesn’t take it. He clucks his tongue. “Eat when then eatin’ is good, Vaultie. Get deeper into the Wastes and…well.” he shrugs as if the silence should be all the answer she needs. And it should be, but she just goes on staring with her huge doe eyes.
“I’m not hungry.” Almost as an afterthought, she adds. “Thank you.”
“Do what you like. You’re a big girl. And I ain’t your daddy.”
The phrase jostles something in her head. Vaultie’s whole face screws up—nose scrunching, lips curling—and she opens her mouth as if to speak, only for it to snap shut. A muscle twitches in the corner of her mouth and it’s…it’s a hell of a thing.
He doesn’t see his daughter in her face…doesn’t see Barb. He’s looking in a mirror. It’s two centuries ago, and he’s staring at himself—all offended dignity as he reads something unsavory in a script or listens to a suit wax philosophical about a battlefield they’ll never see.
Vaultie must clock something about his reaction. All the stiffness leaves her posture. She just…deflates, eyes dropping. “I know that,” she says, voice soft. Not the “let me de-escalate this situation” bullshit she’d put on in Filly…just human. Very human and so tired. “I’m sorry—it was wrong of me to snap at you.”
Coop almost laughs. He holds his arms out wide instead. “No harm done.”
She goes back to her staring, back to her silence. Something howls off in the distance.
Out of nowhere, and because it’s all just fuckin’ disorienting—the silence, having somebody around again—the ghoul says, “Reckon you’ll kill him?”
“Excuse me?”
He picks nonexistent grit out of his teeth and spits. “Think you know exactly who I mean, sweetheart.” Vaultie cocks her head to the side. Firelight licks at her skin—it makes his hard lines harder, edges more jagged, but for her? She looks soft and young…a gross oversimplification. There’s steel in her eyes. Coop shrugs, flashing a smile that must look horrible. She doesn’t shrink back. “You find it offends your finer sensibilities and I’ll do it for ya.”
“No.” Her tone leaves no room for debate.
“Vaultie, that’s not a word I’m in the habit of hearing.”
“It’s Lucy,” she corrects. “And I…said what I said.” The girl hugs her arms around herself. “He’s still my dad. I don’t want him…” Vau..Lucy pauses. Her brow furrows, “...Well, I guess I don’t know what I want yet. But…I have time.”
“Less and less of it every day.”
She screws up her nose again. “Maybe. But it’s my choice.” It’s the damnedest thing: the words just hang there for a second, silence broken by the crackle of the fire. And then she seems to actively register what she’s said. It’s Lucy MacLean’s choice. She smiles and nods—brilliant and bloodied and somehow still clean. “But…thank you for offering.”
Like he’s suggested giving up his seat on the bus and not filling her daddy full of lead. Fuckin’ Vaulties…Coop shakes his head, “Anytime, sweetheart.”

Hi,
I’ve never made a request before, sorry if I’m doing it wrong. Can you write a short about Sebastian from SDV insisting on walking you home from the saloon and then you inviting him inside for..things? By that I mean it can either be fluff or more, I just welcome more content in general! Thank you so much!!
Hi! I'm so sorry it took so long to answer. Work got really crazy all of a sudden and I haven't had a lot of time to write.
I may have gotten a bit carried away with this request lol. I hope you like it!
Warnings: a bit of angst if you squint, a dash of spice at the end (although nothing happens)
Fandom: Stardew Valley
Character: Sebastian
Breathlessness
Fall was finally over. The growing season was done and the first snow of the winter had started to set in.
With the new layer of ice and snow covering the farm came a chance for you to finally take a breath and relax.
Until now, you had been so caught up in tending to the crops and preparing for winter that you hadn't stopped to really relax. You had practically isolated yourself from the rest of the town. You didn't even have time to hang out with your friends, much to your own disappointment.
Your absence was especially noticed on friday nights when you would typically be at the Stardrop Saloon hanging around the pool table with your friends Abigail, Sam, and Sebastian.
They tried to have fun in spite of your absence, they really did. But, how could they when there friend wasn't there to enjoy the night with them?
And the quiet gloom that had fallen over the group was only made worse by the clearly sour mood that had come over Sebastian.
He tried to pretend he was fine, but Sam and Abigail both knew that was a lie.
Ever since you moved to Stardew Valley over a year ago, you had practically latched on to the trio. Sebastian, of course, took a bit longer to warm up to you. But, once he did, the two of you became practically attached at the hip. The two of you did everything together. It didn't matter if he was wandering along the lake on a rainy day or in his room working on his compiter, you were almost always right beside him. Now, without you around, he felt as if a piece of him was missing.
So, when you came trudging through the doors of the saloon out of the snow, Sebastian felt like his world had somehow clicked back into place. He swore that you had never looked more beautiful than you did in that moment.
You had bundled up against the cold and wind in a heavy coat, a knitted hat ( which was definitely a gift from Emily judging by the bright, multicolored pattern of it), and a pair of work boots which were caked in snow.
You shook the snow off of your boots as you entered and, as soon as the doors closed behind you, pulled off your coat and hat. You hung them on the coat rack by the door and wandered your way over to the pool table, saying hello to the other patrons as you went.
Just getting to see your smile again made Sebastian's heart feel a bit lighter.
As you drew closer, he spotted the flush that had come over your cheeks and face during the long trek from the farm to the saloon. He also spotted the way you were rubbing your hands together in an attempt to bring some warmth back to your work calused hands.
Sebastian, of course, was too busy gawking at you to see the confused looks Abigail and Sam were giving him. Apparently it was his turn but he was too busy staring to hear whatever snarky comment Sam had made.
Wondering what had their friend so slack-jawed, they followed his gaze.
Abigail was the first to react. She jumped up from her spot on the couch, calling out your name, and nearly knocked you over with the force of the hug she gave you.
Sam wasn't far behind her. He tossed his pool stick onto the table and went striding over to you with that familiar big, goofy grin plastered on his face. He said something to you ( Sebastian couldn't quite hear what he said, but it was probably something ridiculous from the way you laughed at him.) then pulled you in for a bear hug.
The two of them slung their arms over your shoulders and guided you towards their little meeting area, all three of you grinning like idiots.
When you made it to the entry, you broke away from them and moved around the table towards Sebastian. The poor boy was sure the whole saloon could hear his heart beat getting louder as you got closer.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, there you stood right in front of him.
Sebastian took this moment to study every detail of your face. His gaze moving from each little feature to the next.
He was in the process of counting the snowflakes that had begun to melt on your lashes when you finally spoke, breaking him out of whatever trance he had managed to place himself into.
"Hey, Seb. Long time, no see." The dopey grin on your face and that bright look in your eyes was all it took to make him melt right then and there.
Sebastian pulled you against his chest, wrapping his arms around you.
"I missed you so much." He mumbled against your hair.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
After your big entrance, Sam and Sebastian completely abandoned their game of pool. Instead, the trio crowded around you on the couches and did their best to catch you up on what all they had done during the fall.
Abigail told you all about the new video game she had picked up during your absence. She was clearly loving the game if her waving hands and the spark in her eyes were any indicator of her excitement.
Sam, of course, updated you on the band and how they had been doing. He even showed you a few of the songs they had written over the fall.
During all of this, Sebastian simply watched you, his elbow leaned against the back of the couch and his head propped up on his hand. Seb couldn't help the faint smile that pulled at his lips as he watched you talking and laughing with your friends.
Sebastian didn't see you often during the fall. However, when he did see you, you always had this intense focus in your eyes. It was clear that, even in those moments away from the farm, that your work was all that you could think about. It was so good to see you finally free of that burden, even if it was only for the winter.
It was at this moment, that Sebastian realized the three of you were looking right at him. Sam and Abigail had that stupid, all-knowing grin on there faces they always got whenever they caught him doing something stupid. Meanwhile, you looked like you were waiting for a response to something.
"Sorry, what was that?" Sebastian asked, lifting his head from his hand, having to physically shake the cobwebs from his brain for a moment.
"I asked if you had done anything over the fall." You couldnt help but giggle a bit as you repeated yourself.
"Oh.. um..." Seb fumbled for a moment, "Honestly, I haven't really done anything worth talking about." He scratched at the back of his neck, not quite meeting your gaze as he said it.
"Yeah, Seb was a bit too busy brooding to really do anythi- Ow!" Sam's comment was swiftly cut off with a punch to the arm from Abigail who was clearly biting back a shit-eating grin.
"Why? Did something happen?" As you turned your attention back to Sebastian, you immediately noticed the red flush that had come over his ears and cheeks.
"No, nothing happened. I just... I just missed you." Sebastian mumbled the last part, again, not quite meeting your eyes as he spoke.
Your gaze softened a bit and that big, dopey grin was back on your face.
"I missed you too, you dork." You chuckled as you leaned over and wrapped your arms around his torso, your face buried in his chest.
Sebastian was so thankful you couldn't see his face in that moment. Abbey and Sam, however, could absolutely see his face and were trying there hardest not to laugh at just how red he had gotten.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
The four of you talked the whole evening. You probably would have stayed all night if Gus didn't tell you all it was closing time.
As you all stood at the door of the saloon and said your goodbyes, Sebastian couldn't help but feel a slight tightening in his chest.
"Hey, y/n. Do you mind if I walk you home?" The words left his mouth before his brain could even process the thought. Seb wanted to shove the words right back down as soon as he said them.
"Oh. I - yeah! I'd like that. Thank you."
"Okay. Cool!" Sebastian wanted to smack himself in the face. 'Cool? Really Seb?'
"Alright." The soft smile you gave him made his heart feel like it was about to come right out of his chest.
"Well, be careful you two." Abigail interjected. "Wouldn't want you guys to get caught in the snow."
Sam looked like he was about to make a smart-ass comment of some kind but thought better of it with a sturn look from Abbey.
"See you guys later." Sam gave you a big hug and gave Seb a pat on the back with a knowing grin.
With that final goodbye, the four of you stepped out of the warmth of the saloon and into the snow covered night.
While Sam and Abigail returned to their homes, you and Sebastian made your way along the cobblestone path leading out to the farm.
Despite the layers of clothing covering you, the cold still managed to bite through. Your body shook uncontrollably from the cold.
Sebastian, without a second thought, put his arm around you and pulled you against his side as you walked.
"Is this okay?" His heart was practically in his throat as the words left him.
"Yeah. This really helps, actually." Your response was so soft Sebastian could barely hear you over the wind.
His gentle grip on you tightened ever so slightly and began rubbing your arm a bit to generate a bit more warmth.
The silence that enveloped the two of you as you walked was a comfortable one. That was one of the things you always loved about spending time with Sebastian. On more than one occasion, you have trudged your way into Sebastian's room after a long day of work and plopped down on his couch without a word. And, of course, he'd just let you. Because, although he never says it outright, Sebastian wouldn't trade that time with you for the world.
When you finally came to the front door of your cozy little farmhouse, the frost had settled into your bones and wouldn't go away no matter how closely you clung to Sebastian.
"Why don't you come inside and warm up before you head back home. You must be freezing!" As you proposed the idea, you looked up and saw the snow clinging to Seb's hair and eyelashes and how pink his nose and cheeks were.
"Yes, please. If you don't mind."
You gave no response. Just a soft smile as you took him by the hand and led him into the warmth of your home.
Once the two of you had shed your coats and boots, you quietly guided him towards the big red sofa by the fireplace and gestured for him to sit. As Sebastian made himself comfortable, you set to work getting a fire going.
Once that familiar warmth had flooded the living room, you went to the kitchen and began boiling water. You pulled a pair of mugs and a jar with some kind of dried herbs in it out of the cabinet.
Once the tea was done brewing, you sat next to Sebastian and handed him one of the mugs.
As Sebastian stared down at the warm mug in his hands, he noticed that it was black with an intricate skull design painted on the side.
"I saw that mug at the Night Market and thought you might like it." You answered the question before he even had a chance to ask it.
There was a moment of comfortable silence that followed. It was only interrupted by the sound of Sebastian's voice.
"Thank you."
"For what?" You placed your mug on the coffee table as you turned to him.
"For... for being you, I guess." Sebastian looked up just in time to catch the beginnings of tears pooling in your eyes.
Before he could even ask what was wrong, you threw your arms around his neck and buried your face in his neck.
"You have no idea how much that means to me. Especially coming from you." You whispered into his neck, the feeling of your warm breath against his skin giving him goosebumps.
After a few moments like this, you finally began to pull away.
You opened your mouth to apologize, but your words were cut short by the sudden feeling of lips against yours. You only tensed for a moment before you melted into the feeling, your eyes fluttering shut.
It was only a few seconds before Sebastian began to withdraw from you. But he didn't get very far, as you grabbed his face and pulled him back in for more.
Your kiss was filled with a passion that felt like fire running beneath his skin.
Your fingers slid effortlessly into his hair, then your grip tightened and you gave gentle tug. The low growl that came up from deep within Seb surprised even him.
In response, his hands found your waist and pulled you into his lap, drawing a soft gasp from your lips. He took the opportunity to slip his tongue inbetween your parted lips, desperate to taste very part of you.
Sebastian's warm hands found their way under you sweater, appreciatively feeling every curve of your body.
The action sent a shudder down your spine.
You, begrudgingly, were the first to pull away. And, as you did, you gave a playful bite to Sebastian's lower lip and tugged it ever so slightly.
Seb couldn't help but try to chase your lips as you parted. He'd have gladly drowned in your kisses if you'd let him.
Your forehead leaned against his as you both caught your breath, your nose brushing lovingly against each other.
You finally opened your eyes and were met with Sebastian's vibrant green eyes gazing back at you with an intensity you rarely ever witnessed.
"What's that look for?"
"I don't ever want to forget this moment." He replied with a breathlessness that made your heart practically flutter out of your chest. "Not a single second of it."
