of course buck and tommy are still going strong. they wanted to tell a rom-com. they wanted a LI that would fit in well with the ensemble cast. they wanted buck’s narrative to be free of unfulfilling dating storylines. they wanted to make his bisexual journey a fulfilling and enthusiastic one.
tommy makes sense. he is good for the story. buck finally gets to have the relief of a love interest with longevity. in season fucking 8 he finally gets to experience a mature, committed relationship that has the potential to go all the way. not only that, but a LI that can be utilized for calls and drama. it’s perfect.
