Yoonmin Run Ep Project: Week 4

This week, we watched run episode 20.

I’ve written about this episode before, but only briefly. I don’t want to repeat myself, so I’ll just say that two remarkable things happen toward the beginning: 1. Jimin compliments Yoongi’s cooking and we get confirmation that Yoongi has cooked for Jimin in the past. 2. Yoongi is super handsy with Jimin.

Yoongi chooses Jimin for his team, “as expected.”

There is so much cuteness in this episode, and not just from yoonmin…

As Yoongi and Jimin work, they stay close at times. This moment is particularly snuggly:

Although the subtitle says “Suga!”, Jimin actually says “Oh, hyung!” in this moment. I’m not sure why they often subtitle things with the stage name when we can clearly hear them saying, for instance, “hyung” or “Yoongi-hyung”, etc.

Call me crazy, but I think Yoongi wanted to stand next to Jimin…

As in past weeks, I’m struck by just how affectionate Yoongi is with Jimin. I feel like Yoongi has a rep as being someone who likes his space and isn’t as snuggly as some of the other members, but that does not seem to be the case, especially not when it comes to Jimin. Most (heck—all?!) of the physical affection was initiated by Yoongi in this episode. So fascinating!

3. Traveling by train or by plane?

Where am I going? I think it kinda depends on where I’m going.

But I’ve always wanted to ride a train. It sounds so cool and like…like really classy, ya know? Especially since traveling by plane is like the norm. I think riding a legit train would be fun!
