Ok so... I just finished the live action One Piece and I definitely went into watching it with an open mind cuz Oda approved it. It was not that bad so I give it a 6/10 cuz it also was not that great either😶 Listen this is just my shitty opinion so don't yell at me I might cry but I hated that they took the funny out.

I knew they were gonna change alot cuz duh its got over 1000 episodes but there was no comedy it was all drama. I thought the guy playing Luffy did a decent job but ahhh he was so weak!!!! Monkey D. Luffy is not weak!!! Zoro was perfect not gonna lie lol the guy playing him did fantastic👏👏 Sanji was ok but his personality??? Where did it go??? Please don't hate me but Nami sucked lol she was kind of...bland I dont know and the scene where she asked Luffy for help just fell flat in my opinion🤷🤷 Usopp was cool but it seems like he was barely in it?? Even during Syrup Village he was hardly the focus and whyyy did they cut out the Usopp Pirates😤😤 I spent the whole day watching all the episodes and yea its not for me honestly but I hope it does a great job and brings in more fans cuz the real One Piece is fucking amazing...my pointless post is done now

I’m sorry but I will truly never get over Ekko who lost his mentor and all his friends at a young age, then spent the rest of his childhood building a beautiful and strong community that helped get shimmer addicts off the streets and give them a new life that thrived off of trust, respect, and loyalty while slowly watching the girl he loves lose herself to her psyche and become an unhinged suicidal terrorist who he is unable to save despite repeated attempts at it. And THEN gets booted into an alternate reality where he learns he could have had EVERYTHING, the beautiful and thriving community, the education, his family, and the girl he loves and he heartbreakingly leaves it all behind because he knows he doesn’t belong there and he has to go back to save his people which he DOES multiple times at great risk despite knowing what overextending his z-drive could do only to end up completely alone in the end. The most selfless character in the entire series. That’s my boy savior.

Update: spent 11 hours on this today; lemme just copy the entirety of the text of the review I wrote on Steam (TL; DR - only worth playing if you know you're a fan of the genre. Which I am, but like. There's better out there.)

The one thing Valheim isn't really equipped to do that I always wanted was some kind of resource/commodity economy and interpersonal interaction with NPCs. This does that, actually, but is not nearly as fun or as atmospheric as Valheim. (Feels like Valheim meets Skyrim, but neither better off for it.) I don't regret the time I've spent on it, and I'll probably play quite a bit more, because I have a high tolerance for tedious resource collection sims and I'm curious about the story, such as it is. But like, I'm not going to mince words in saying, it's a (VERY) tedious resource collection sim. It's a forgiving one! Which is a point in its favor given how easy it is to die prematurely to pugnacious wildlife. It was a relief to realize I could just respawn with all my stuff, and not have to potentially spend the next three hours collecting resources to build a new boat for a very slow corpse run and praying I didn't meet any sea serpents on the way. Play it if you know you like that kind of thing. (I recommend turning off weight carry weight limit in the custom settings, because it is seriously inhibitory on default.) If you DON'T know you like that kind of thing, hie thee to Valheim or ffs, even Minecraft, first. Or TES: Skyrim (for more of the RPG elements, rather less of the DIY ones), if you've somehow gone the last decade without playing that. I would only recommend this game to people who are already fans of the genre and want a new learning curve to climb. (If you're intrigued by the main narrative conceit because you're a Crusader Kings fan…. don't. Unless you are also a survival resource gatherer sim fan. It is nothing at all like Crusader Kings.)

So, I'm playing the new map on Medieval Dynasty as a woman (because they finally decided to let you play as a woman), and I was curious how the pregnancy dynamic was going to work because historically, in the game, when your wife gets pregnant, she goes on an 18-year maternity leave until your kid is grown, and I was like, well I'm the main character, so what's going to happen?

Am I just not going to be able to work or complete quests while I run around after my kiddo? Surely not. That'd be ludicrous. I wonder how they'll handle this...

Well, they handled it. They handled it by making my husband pregnant.

This game went from "you can't play as a woman because it's historically inaccurate" to "we're not going to fix the ridiculous game dynamic of an 18-year maternity leave, but we will make it so you can get your husband pregnant instead."

Incredible. Fully headcanoning this as a t4t marriage in 11th century Poland. I can't wait to meet our beautiful child. I will, however, be hiring a new lumberjack because I am not cutting down trees for the next 18 years. Fuck that. I've got wolves to fist-fight in the woods.

Katniss is such an unreliable narrator. She says "Then something unexpected happens. At least, I don't expect it because I don't think of District 12 as a place that cares about me" girl you deliver strawberries to the Mayor, you hunt and trade for the district, when you fell at Prim being chosen someone caught you, when you went to Prim people parted for you, when you volunteered EVERYONE stopped. Idk how to tell you but I think you're a pillar of the community.
