Tim Drake was a smart child, so he hires a live-in babysitter to help raise him when his parents are gone. Cue one Danny Fenton-Nightingale, who will NOT let this frankly scarily observant child grow up with negligent and unavailable guardian figures like he did, so help him Ancients.

Tim Drake was left alone at a very young age. His parents left a five-year old child in a mansion, with no adult supervision.

Tim’s parents were negligent.

But Tim, he was a smart child.

Now, most people thought he had learned to cook, took himself to school, escaped from kidnappings, and generally raised himself to become the independent self-made genius he was today, teenaged CEO. And Tim let them think that, heck, he spread those rumors himself.

But that wasn’t quite right.

He had been a smart child, yes, but a child nonetheless. And he knew that most parents would hire a babysitter.

His parents hadn’t.

So he did it for them.

It was the smartest thing he ever did at that age.

And after he was hired, his dad new babysitter Danny helped cover up when Tim did things not-so-smart.

Imagine being in love with both Cordelia Goode and Zelda Spellman but being unable to decide who to be with. The two headmistresses having feelings for you as well, try to persuade you to choose their own academy. You drag it out because you simply can’t choose one. And you feel stupid and a freak because you love both and selfishly speaking, you want both. When you start distancing yourself from both witches, they immediately feel something is off, out of character of you. Even if you seem to have given up on them, for nothing in the world will they give up on you.

Just finished rereading chapters 176~188 of ORV—funny, cuz chap 176 is part of the "Reading Again" episode. I had to stop so many times just because of the many foreshadowings—intentional and not—I noticed. Have to hand it to Sing-Shong, their flowchart must've been chaotic.

Anyway, another AU idea: Kim Dokja's Fate read something along the lines of "Incarnation Kim Dokja will be killed by the one he loves most." This is fulfilled in the Demon Castle scenario, where Yoo Joonghyuk destroys all of Kim Dokja's remaining lives to kill him permanently and expel him from the scenario. Of course, Kim Dokja still manages to survive the expulsion, even if it's only barely. BUT!

"What if Kim Dokja doesn't die, depite having all his extra lives destroyed by Yoo Joonghyuk? What if Kim Dokja isn't expelled from the scenario, despite clearly failing his mission? What if Kim Dokja just opens his eyes to a roomful of surprised companions, despite his Fate being fulfilled?"

Basically, the premise is that Kim Dokja survives the whole ordeal and isn't expelled from the scenario, but his Fate is still fulfilled. Canon events up to the end of chapter 188 of ORV follows, including the constellation messages saying they don't wish for his death.

My idea is that Kim Dokja did "die" back there, but not in the obvious way. It's specified by the fate that the one who dies is "Incarnation Kim Dokja". This involves my headcanon that only one Most Ancient Dream exists in all parallel worldlines, and since he is "another" Kim Dokja, that means that at least 2 Kim Dokja's existing at that point in time: one is a "constellation" and the other an "incarnation".

Now, Kim Dokja at the time of the Demon Castle scenario is already a constellation and is only waiting for his modifier. I know I said this follows canon events up till chap 188, but there is one minor and off-the-record change to the "Unable To Be Eaten" episode: when Kim Dokja is eaten by the Eater of Dreams, his Story splits into 2—the stories of the Kim Dokja's before and after the apocalypse. Before is the "Incarnation" while After is the "Constellation". It's not really a noticeable change, what with the Fourth Wall hiding away most of the memories it considered "dangerous" (the ones that blurred the lines of "reality" and "fiction") to and/or "unwanted" (the ones Dokja would rather forget) by Kim Dokja. Still, it makes all the difference at this AU's diverging point, because when Yoo Joonghyuk stabs Kim Dokja, "Incarnation" Kim Dokja—the one with the memories of the life before the apocalypse and the one who actually had a life outside of reading TWSA—dies. The one who remains is "Constellation" Kim Dokja—the one who began with the apocalypse an the one whose whole reason to live revolved around reading TWSA. Since Kim Dokja has already been influenced and affected by the Fourth Wall from the very beginning of the apocalypse, no one actually notices a thing, except Yoo Sangah, who notices things she didn't think Kim Dokja would've done before. However, she passes it off as just one of many she's already noticed.

The horror only begins when Kim Dokja's mother, Lee Sookyung, enters the picture again. While Kim Dokja's been with Yoo Sangah long enough to have her be part of the After memories, it isn't the same with Lee Sookyung. The woman is someone who he's subconsciously categorized as part of his Before—someone he'd rather forget and leave behind. Though the Eater of Dreams incident shed some light on her previously unexplained behavior, it's not enough to bridge the gap between them. So while Kim Dokja "lost" the memories of Sangah from Before while retaining those from the After, he completely forgot everything about his "mother" Lee Sookyung and only recognized her as the "King of Wanderers" who has an unwanted fascination with him.

When they bring up his mother, Kim Dokja will only reply, "I don't have a mother." When faced with situations he'd normally sacrifice himself for everyone else, Kim Dokja will be more pragmatic and calculating, pushing suicide as his last resort. When faced with situations that'd normally trigger his traumas, Kim Dokja will be unaffected and be more cold than ever. His emotions will also be more muted thanks to the Fourth Wall. Whether or not he is closer to the lines behind "reality" or closer to the border of "fiction" is up for debate.

Anyway, that's that! Just the barebones of an idea I thought of, though its potential for horror is higher than I thought, what with the memory loss and all. I'd much rather read than write a story with this premise though.

Is there an AU where Neil is raised by his father (maybe Mary never ran away with him or maybe Nathan found out their plan and stopped it) and his father ends up hiring Andrew as a thug or something, but Andrew sees how Nathan is treating his son (who he not so secretly has feelings for) so decides to take him out the same way he took out Tilly?

He succeeds but by doing so it causes all of Nathan's men to go after them so the two have to go on the run

Renfield Prompt Idea

Ok, but why do I absolutely love the idea of Renfield finding a stray dog and making the mistake of feeding it on multiple occasions, to the point she's hanging out by the hospital where Dracula is hiding out. Renfield doesn't have the heart to kill her so he just tries to keep her hidden from Dracula, but of course Dracula always finds out. I think I'm gonna write a little story for this. I imagine the dog would be a boxer/shepherd mix on the larger size due to how well Renfield feeds her. He names her Marcy.

When Captain Marvel gets hit in a fight that was a little too magical in origins for everyone’s comfort, he turns back into Billy Batson, scrawny homeless kid (actually a teen now, thank you very much), a clear difference from his healthy, strong adult form.

Billy knows that he is fine, he just needs to rest a bit and he’ll be back to being Cap. He is freaking out for a second about getting his cover blown. That is, until-

the rest of the Justice League, who on the other hand do NOT know that he is fine-

think that one of their founding and most senior members, their heavy hitter magical expert dude, is suddenly de-aged due to an attack of unknown origins.

Billy just decides to go along with it.

it was announced recently that the yuri manga sukeban to tenkousei has been cancelled due to low sales, which personally made me upset bc it was genuinely a really good work. today inee, the author of love bullet, has said she's struggling with the sales of vol 1, so fans have made a guide to purchase it. i'm sharing this bc i read the first volume of love bullet and i loved it, it has so much potential and it's so sad that it might get cancelled. any amount of visibility for the manga will help! guys. it has cupid girls with guns. and gay people. come on

reading through this I’m 100% envisioning this like the “follow the rabbit” thing done in the matrix.

danny is a ghost, he can fuck with technology. He can absolutely possess a computer just like technus, become living code, and just… be inside people’s computers. suddenly popping up on the batcomputer with very pertinent information about a case and leaving only a little rabbit icon on the homescreen that disappears once it’s clicked.

“follow the white rabbit” indeed.

ALSO the “ghost bunnies” can literally just be blob ghosts! they can change their shape according to people’s emotions, and they already are like the “friendly animals” of the zone. They’re so easily impressionable, they’re literally blobs of emotions. So when they see Danny’s rabbit mask and everyone who interacts with danny thinks about him and associates him with rabbits… so do their forms.

so danny just started out his rabbit schtick and all the blob ghosts that have been following him have like… morphed? to become rabbits too? he’s a little shocked they could do that, but hey he’s not complaining, it’s not like there’s another rabbit-themed rogue he’s replacing or anything (in the distance, hatter gets a chill down his spine)…

There's a new informant in the Underground in Gotham. No one really knows where they came from or how they know so much. Just that if you need a piece of information, best bet is to find the Lucky Rabbit.

Danny ended up in this dimension with nothing but his tattered clothes and Sam's emergency to go bag. So, he did what he was good at, befriend the local Ghosts and gather information about his new home. It was one of the Ghosts idea to start selling information in the Underground. The mask he picked up at a magic shop certainly helped keep him safe from those wanting to know his identity. That and his ghost powers.
