So the nonhuman theme of the day that I've been seeing on the Internet seems to be self doubt both due to internal and external influences.

My response to this theme is this. You are who you are. And no one can tell you who you are but you. (The rest of the post is pretty much just this^^ in way more detail than necessary. You have been warned lol. Buckle up this is gonna be a long one. Literally took all day to write 😅)

Most of us live in a society where we've been told since infancy who we are are and what we must be, and if we don't fit in the predesignated boxes then there must be something wrong with us and we just need to be forced into a box. But just think about the vastness of life for a second. From macro to micro there's just so much to everything it's breathtaking. Everything is layered. Why should one being's existence be any different. There is what is seen and then there is everything else. Some thing's don't need to be understood by others, because they are not there for others. They are simply there. Wether we understand them or not. And that in itself (I think) is quite lovely.

I am Fae. Not just because of ______. I am Fae because it is simply what I am. It's what feels right.

It's ok to just exist. It's ok to live without ever fitting into boxes or labels. And if you find a label or box that fits you, that's ok too. It's your existence. Do what makes you happy. I've also found that sometimes, finding that feeling that you fit somewhere, comes first and the reasons why come after. Be patient. I know it's maddening sometimes when you've got a million questions bumping about in your head, or even just one or two burning ones, but life is a journey. A mystery to uncover through experiences.

I could give you a whole laundry list of reasons why I can call myself Fae. But at the end of the day, the only reason I need is that it feels right. I don't need to act like the stereotypical Fae (from folklore, media etc), I don't need to have magical experiences, I don't need memories. Keep in mind that your nonhuman identity does not need to match anyone else's.

If you're a Fae who loves technology and finds the modern age fascinating. Guess what? There's nothing wrong with that. (I LOVE Minecraft 😁 Though that may or may not have to do with the fact that I get to fly around and build whatever I want from nothing. Yes I'm obsessed with creative mode 😅 I usually get bored in survival)

If you're a Therian who's never enjoyed being on all fours or who doesn't like gear. It doesn't make you any less Therian. Do what makes you happy 😊.

If you're some ancient entity and you use an ungodly (hehe) amount of emojis and/or abbreviations (ex. Lol, omg, etc) it doesn't make you any less ancient or awesome. Do what you enjoy. You are too old to not be having as much fun as you can experience. I'm also an ancient creature, you really think I want to spend my time not doing what makes the happy chemicals 😊✨👁️🪽😁.

If you're an Alien who's not obsessed with space stuff. That's ok. Human portrayals probably don't do it justice anyway, and there's so many other things to be interested in. Like have you seen mushrooms? Those funky little guys come in so many varieties it's absolutely delightful 😊🍄✨.

If you're a vampire who can't stand the sight of blood. Don't worry about it. I can almost guarantee you're not alone (plus there's a lot of different types of vampires. If you know you are/were definitely sanguine then you're still valid 😊).

If you're fictionkin and you're absolutely nothing like your fictionkin type/character. That's ok 😊. People often change with their experiences, it doesn't make you any less yourself.

That last one applies to most nonhumans identities in general honestly 😅.

If you're an angel that doesn't/didn't have big feathery wings. You are still an angel. The universe is filled with too much color and variety for me to believe that all ______ have the same or very similar designs. I've never heard of an angel with dragonfly or beetle wings. That doesn't mean they don't exist 🙃.

You can be a plant who loves salads, a placekin who hates going outside, an objectkin that doesn't use it/it's pronouns or is super expressive, a vampire who adores sunbathing or just sunlight in general, a carnivore that doesn't like meat, an avian that's afraid of flying or heights, a demon with a heart of gold, a deity with social anxiety and/or low self esteem, an herbivore that loves going hunting, a dragon who prefers minimalism, an aquatic creature who doesn't like water, a void that's constantly overthinking, you can match all the known stereotypes for your nonhuman identity or none at all. You can have phantom shifts constantly or never get any, you can have countless identities, you can have just one, you can remember your past life/lives in detail or remember nothing at all, you can believe in past lives and souls, or not, your identity can be psychological, physical, spiritual, etc.

It's s your identity. No one else's. Just because you choose to share yourself or your identity with someone else does not mean they own you or your identity. It is, was and always shall be, yours. (Btw please please please, be careful who you share your nonhuman identity with. Not everyone is going to "get it". And not everyone is going to accept it. Stay safe, mentally, physically, emotionally etc.)

They say names have power. They also say not all things are what they seem. Whatever your nonhuman identity looks like, only you can know what it truly is. Understand that I am not saying that the appearance of one's nonhuman identity should be dismissed altogether, especially when one is still questioning. I am saying, that we shouldn't rely solely upon appearances. If your nonhuman identity fits in the category of x as far as appearances go but x just doesn't feel like it fits, then chances are, you're not x, or there's more to it than just x. I've known I was Fae since right around 2019. However I doubted myself for a long time because as far as I knew Fae were "supposed to have insect wings" and on top of having big feathery wings, I have a lot of them. In fact many of my nonhuman features could be considered angelic. However I've never felt particularly comfortable identifying as an angel. It just never felt like the right fit. It took awhile but eventually after I'd already accepted that my "angelic features" didn't make me any less Fae. I remembered why I had those features to begin with, and it all just clicked into place.

It's ok to not have all the answers or even the correct answers right away. Life is experiences. From moment to moment you are who you are. Things may change, new truths may be revealed, that doesn't make you or your identity any less real. You are whoever you are right now. Wether that is someone/something from everything you have ever been or ever shall be or just one thing right now, unconnected to anything else. You are not fake for changing. You're not fake for not changing. Most have doubts about themselves about all sorts of things. To the point where it seems like doubt is just part of the human world experience (not saying it's only a human world experience, just that everyone here seems to doubt themselves about something or other) and perhaps working through our doubts is a lesson of this place, then again maybe not 🤷. In the end what you believe is up to you😊.

Now, I'm not expecting that this single post from a total stranger will erase all your doubts. Not at all. I didn't write it to erase doubt, but rather to give it a little bit of something to fight against. To plant just one more seed in the hearts and minds of others who might need it or whom it might help in any way. This post is far from the only one out there, fighting doubt in its many forms and faces. And what I've said has already been said in many times and ways. But it's my take and not everything will click with everyone. If this post helps even just one being, then it has served it's purpose. Each and every single one or plural of us is unique in our own ways. And I truly believe that's one of the most wonderful things about life as a whole.

If you've read this far, I apologize if I got a bit carried away and made this post longer than necessary but it means a great deal to me and things that matter to me are very difficult to "sum up" 😅. And if you follow me. I warn you now that most of my posts will probably be a bit lengthy if not extremely so.

And now my dear creatures, crawlers, beasts, beauties, hellions, heavenlies (no I don't care that that's not a word it is now lol), magicals, marvels, wonders, wanderers, wildlings, winged things, whimsies, and whatsits (and everything beyond and in between) I wish upon you a most wonderful day/night. I would love to hear your rambles about Ur fics if u want, it doesn't have to be spoilers or anything, just like, your line of thought, why your gave each character those characteristics and stuff (feral wild my beloved 🩷🩷🩷)

Uh YES talking about the boys is my favorite thing 🥰🥰

I knew when I started writing Linked Moments I wanted it adjacent to Linked Universe, but not in the same timeline. I like the characters, their designs, some of their personality traits, but I want to do something unique!

The first few stories are always rougher as I find a handle on their personalities and how I want them to interact. Wild’s easiest because a) favorite, b) I read a lot of fics with him and c) I started replaying botw in preparation for TotK.

There’s some active decision on personality, but I really enjoy “discovering” each character as I write. Four, for example, fights every step of the way and just doesn’t flow well. I’m still trying to find a vibe off him and how he fits into the group.

Wild, Twi, Ledge, and Hyrule are definite favorites so we get a lot more of them. Wolfie is Wild’s safe person and I adore their interactions. I wanted him to be someone Wild could relax with when he’s still learning to trust everyone else. Also, someone who would connect to his more feral behavior.

I like to think that Wild was pretty darn wild when he first woke up. Obviously some basics remain, but you can’t convince me that boy didn’t put everything in his mouth to see if he could eat it 🤣

With Yiga disguised on the road he tended to stick to the outskirts unless he came in to a stable. He spent a lot of time with the dogs there, as well as observing wolves in the wild. He really likes wolves, despite an…incident we’ll explore later 👀

Hyrule is my cinnamon roll and he can totally kick your butt while smiling sweetly. I like his dynamic with Legend, so I try to keep that, but I also like having him buddied up with Wild.

I usually pick one or two relationships for each oneshot to focus on because otherwise it’s a lot to balance. Also, I want to show the different moments of growth between the pairs.

Thinks like Fae Touched, Wing Bois, and other oneshots are opportunities for me to explore different dynamics or back histories. Wild and Wolfie/Twilight is more of a precedence in Linked Moments.

Legend is our grouchy boy, but he understands trauma responses a little too well. He periodically recognizes what’s going on with Wild and really steps up into a calm role to help. He tries to provide what he needed but didn’t have 😭 It’s those moments that he’s very similar to Hyrule.

Warriors uhhhhh had ended up with some personal influences, woops. My writing has always been fairly personal in some way; either the genre, themes, or feelings. Lots of family fluff (especially in Encanto, which I wrote for before this). Writing is usually more grounded if it’s based on personal experience, so it’s a mix of that or straight up research. Usually if I’m worried about reception I post it under an alt account.

Time is a struggle for me although I know many readers liked his chapter with the Champion. He and Wild don’t operate the same and it puts a bit of a wedge on their interactions.

Wind is a loose cannon careening through the background and bodily throwing himself at people. He’s a tactile kid (even if he is a teen). I like seeing him have some depth, he’s a capable hero on his own.

Sky is a lot more of a gremlin at heart than I thought when I started writing. We haven’t seen much of him yet and he likes to cover up the chaos love with his “chosen hero” vibes.

I think I covered everyone and I’ve uh….been rambling a while lol 😅 Thank you for the ask! I’ve missed writing on vacation :( please feel free to drop further questions or I’ll tag you if I think of something!

Waaaah (ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ)♡ ty tyyy!! I wasn't kidding about the length so I still apologize 😅😓 You know how when we’re younger we always wanted to get involved in the “cool stuff the big kids were doing,” whether said “big kids” to us were 13 or 16? When I was little, I wanted Steven to be my big brother or cousin. Since I never had any female cousins my age, I mostly grew up around boys and we did cool things like hang downstairs in their basement theatre, convince our parents to stop at a Walgreens for SillyBandz, and go wild jumping on the beds in their Hotel room with Light Sabers and Harry Potter Wands. (Look, I was like 9-10 this was cool to me 😂) We were a Trio, stuck in the backseat of the backseat of the car, status: gremlins in kahoots. It was weirdly poetic, there was only a year between either of us and I was the middle child. Really movie-like three Musketeering it here lol. Imagine how heartbroken I was when my parents told me they weren’t really my cousins, just really close family friends that we called them “cousin” regardless because they were there for my birth. Anyways, this and how whenever some older male that, I assume were probably late teens early 20s now that I’m older and thinking back, came over, kid me would see all the grown-ups talking to them like equals, being allowed to do “stuff” (it was probably like running an errand for an aunt or setting up tables tbh, I sure don’t know) and were asked about what they were studying at the dinner table, I thought it was so cool that I wanted to grow up fast and do whatever they were doing, go wherever they were going with their friends while I had to stay inside and help clean up because my mom said I wouldn’t be interested and that “they’re just doing their own thing.” Even at theme parks, couldn’t go with them.

Enter: The World of Pokémon. Discovering Fanfics, and the Found Family Trope. And Badass Young Protagonist Dreams we all might’ve had at some point. It’s a coin toss whether Crystal or LeafGreen was my first game, but I ended up really attached to Leaf (after a period of hating her because how DARE she look like my OC who was designed to look like me + the effect of early 2010s era of people hating OCs and only accepting canon characters in fics.) Though let’s be real, she probably looks like a lot of people, compared to having gravity-defying blue hair lol. It’s kind of hard to get May’s hair-style exact too sometimes if you don’t have bangs and short hair, and hers still flutter outwards by themselves. So anyways, this is all a lead-up to what brought me to thinking, “man, wouldn’t it be SO cool to be Champion and the bestest of buddies with the other Champions? (As the games usually sold the story to us)” Because friendship is awesome, teasing and banter and knowing personal things about each other and being considerate about it is sweet, being privy to secret projects the grown-ups never let you in on (I say secret project as if it’s some big thing when they probably wanted to enforce bed times and “that movie is too scary for you” lol) but anyhow, still epic.

I’ve never been able to bring myself to making another Pokémon OC, so I use Leaf as my stand-in for just about everything. I think the one thing holding me back from posting publicly is not everyone thinks the same as me. The game characters have no canon personality, so it looks weird. (Unless if I take influence from Evolutions, which validated so much for me.) They’re trapped in their games. And largely influenced by “majority accepted fanon.” As a result of that, I "should" be writing a wing-woman to the Red x Blue ship. My fic would probably go over better if I used May.

Okay, I have read everything through, but I am going to respond to each message one by one so I can get all my thoughts out! First off, thank you SO MUCH for sharing your brilliance with me. I am honored to get a peek inside your mind! This has been an incredible read. It sounds like you had so much fun with your cousins growing up, and I totally get what you mean about seeing older-but-still-young people doing stuff and you're like, "Hey i wanna hang out with them and tag along too!" But then you grow up and realize that you rushed through your childhood for nothing and ow, that's so real. RIP to all the OCs who fell to the flames of the early 2010s OC hate. OCs aren't for everybody (just like reader inserts), but those that will read an OC grow to love and appreciate them as much as any canon character. Though, there is also absolutely nothing wrong with projecting your OCs personality onto a canon character (if you're in our steven stone discord - which i mean, you're on anonymous so i'm not even gonna try to guess - you see that we do it ALL. THE. TIME.) I'll get more into canon personality vs. author interpretation vs. reader interpretation in the next bit, but I think it's important that you've recognized what you feel fandom has dictated you "should" do. You've recognized it. Now throw it out the window. Your fic will be its best self if you write what you want to write, and I promise, there WILL be someone who resonates with whatever character choice you make, whether they be in the minority or the majority. 4. a story idea you haven’t written yet

Oh I have so many. Putting aside the ones I've written tiny bits of, the one I think I care the most about but haven't actually started at all is the MASH AU where the original cast works in an ICU in New York at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. I have a lot of ideas for drawing parallels between the situations and reworking certain elements of MASH. I wasn't going to spoil it but I'm pretty sure I have before and who knows when I'll get to it so what the hell: The main plot points I have worked out so far: Henry Blake, who runs the unit, finally retires/transfers/takes leave/whatever. Everyone is happy for him, sees him off, and puts him in a cab. A few blocks away he starts feeling sick, gets out of the cab to avoid further exposing the driver, walks back to the hospital, and collapses as Radar checks him in. Radar then tells the rest of the unit what happened. Henry deteriorates quickly and as he's dying, Hawkeye knowingly violates PPE protocol to give him some human contact and comfort. This leads to Hawkeye getting quarantined and he forgets his phone charger. He doesn't get sick, but when he gets out of quarantine he finds out Trapper quit. He plugs in his phone and finds several missed calls but no voicemail, only a single text message that just says "😘" Radar tells Hawkeye there's a new doctor on the unit and the story ends with Hawkeye giving BJ a tour. I have a pretty clear vision for all of that, but for the pacing to work right I need to show the day-to-day of the unit for a while and get the audience attached to this version of Henry before he gets sick. I have a few ideas based on episode plots, but they're a lot looser right now. I think Henry getting sick is really the climax so I only have like the last one third of the story plotted out.

14. where do you get your inspiration?

Most of it just kinda... happens. With fic it's usually something in the source material, but with original fiction I get inspired by very specific observations from real life, and sometimes that happens with fics too. So one time I was carrying a bottle of wine into the house and it was super icy and I imagined what would happen if I slipped on the ice and broke the bottle and that's where Chianti came from. But usually it's either something that went by quickly in the show that I want to dig into more or something that makes me say "what if?" like "what if Margaret was pregnant and got an abortion?"

19. the most interesting topic you’ve researched for a fic

You know, it's funny, I'm a researcher when I'm writing something research-able, but a lot of the fic I write is very character-driven and short so there isn't a lot of in-depth research to do. I did get into the weeds on buildings at Bowdoin College in the 1930s to make sure I was making plausible references one time but I think the most interesting was the fairly quick "is yellow fever endemic in South Korea?" (No, but it doesn't matter for my purposes.) With The West Wing I don't need to do as much research because I already have a government degree and studied that era of politics a bit. The main thing holding me back from writing my COVID MASH fic is the research, though. I need a better understanding of exactly what an ICU in a major city was like in March-Summer 2020, even if I take creative liberties I want to do it from an informed position. I'm not one of those people who never wants to hear about COVID in fiction, so I'm not put off by the topic, I'm just not sure exactly how to find exactly what I need and haven't yet been motivated to figure it out.

28. your least favorite part of the writing process

Just... being stuck. That part where you have to just sit and marinate an idea until you're ready to write it. It's maddening! I actually like everything else... I mean writing is torment but if it wasn't it wouldn't be worth it. I like writing more than having written, even when it's torturous, because the satisfaction comes in doing it.

I know this blog hasn't been active for a while, but I started thinking about Enneagrams again, and specifically counterphobic 6s, who continue to confuse me haha. I keep confusing them for 8s. I totally get and understand how Catra's a 6, but personality database has Glimmer as a 6 too, which I don't *disbelieve* but I don't entirely get why she's that and not an 8.

Hi. 💙 I simply have no time to focus on this blog. I have tried to start a typology blog a few times and each time I have to admit that writing about this stuff in an essay form is not a top priority for me. My energy goes more naturally towards fiction where I let these dynamics play out. 🤷🏻 I do wish I had time for everything. 😅 I've been thinking about trying again at some point, just broadening the focus here to include more than She-Ra.

But yeah, counterphobic 6s are... fun. xD

I think Glimmer is definitely 6 over 8, as her relationship issues tend to revolve around the kind of push and pull that's characteristic of 6. She wants to be independent to varying degrees but she needs to know her mom trusts her and rebels when she thinks that's not the case. It's all about the constant friction of where the boundaries go but at the same time it's all about what her mom thinks of her. It's more about wanting Angella to see things her way than it is about independence. Just as an example.

Although Catra is not a core 8, she has way more 8ish tendencies than Glimmer. She has more of that territorial, dominating approach to things. I don't think Glimmer even has 8 in her tritype, I think her gut fix is 1. I think people often confuse 8 for things like who yells the loudest and is the most aggressive, which isn't what 8 is about, necessarily.

However I'm also not convinced that Glimmer is a core 6. I think she might be 7w6. I haven't been thinking about these characters actively for a while and I don't do notes, so I don't remember what I've thought of Gilmmer in the past but my intuition says she's a core 7, although her 6 wing is strong. She has a tendency to avoid painful, deep emotions which causes a lot of her destructive behaviour, and surface frustrations, she's always doing something to make things better, and even though she knows exactly how serious things are, that's not where her energy is. She's not ignoring the problem but she is usually ignoring the emotional weight and pain of it, hoping that she can fix things before she has to feel the full impact. And she seems to be lead by a pretty strong FOMO. Also, Angella is a core 1 and I think it shows in their relationship that Glimmer disintegrates to that direction: under stress she's more nitpicky and micromanaging. Her 1ish tendencies can be pretty over the top sometimes because she also has it in her tritype. On the other hand, Angella integrates to 7, so she is literally becoming healthier by learning to understand Glimmer.

Personally I wouldn't go to personality database for answers, though...

I'm open to criticism since this is just where my mind went, not having though about this for years. I'm totally open to discussing things in private messages as well as asks, if you want. Even though I have failed to keep this blog alive, I'm always down for a talk about this stuff.

As many TV shows, movies, games, books etc have fans that writes different ideas, pairings, alternative univers (AU) etc about them, this is just fanfiction and it should be treated as such, do not complain or believe anything i'm writting!!

I'm doing this just for fun and because i love to do this (write fanfiction when i can), eh... Too much creativity, lool!!! Also, this is a challenge I accepted because there are persons i've meet on Youtube with who i agree that we need a few fanfictions and of course i hope that the rest of you mini-cookies will enjoy it too, hope it's not that bad. 😅

P.s yes, I fell into the pit of SCP univers and i don't need help... I'm perfectly sane and capable 🙂

1. Alright so first thing first, this is not a couple thing do not treat it like a couple 😒 i'm serious, very serious... DO NOT!!!

2. Second, i will write the following fanfictions.

It wasn't like his whole life flash in front of his eyes, his breath was stady despite the situation they were in, the usual plan failed just like the Site he was in if he don't make any progress in finding a way out.

Any plan B, he couldn't come up with any, how could one person even think when at the moment he had to avoid the bullets, people were dieing, screaming and lots of smoke that it almost made his view bad. Of any days they decide to pick exactly when he was doing his job, making it alive for the next video or all this would have been in vain seems nearly impossible.

How did he got himself in this situation, you may ask? Well, it begins as any day when the detective infiltrates in the SCP foundation, however what his detective skills didn't warn him about was the violent interaction between the foundation and it's counterpart, as he was searching and uploading the new information, a loud deafening noise broke the silence, initially believing that a containment breach was ongoing, the red alarm went off. That was his ticket to get out of the building and he should keep moving if the detective didn't want to encounter the "surprise". The SCP business was very risky, but he couldn't help but wonder what SCP did escaped this time, couldn't blame it for wanting to escape, the foundation treat them horrible most of the time.

His current position was in the west wing of the building, the main entrance was blocked by what looked like an explosion that took place, so it wasn't an option anymore, more footsteps could be heard, the path that leads to the main sewerage network wasn't available either since a fight was going on. His only option remained was to fight through the whole madness staying alive.

Bumping into one of the Chaos insurgency soldiers wasn't exactly in plan, the soldier didn't have time to pull the trigger when the detective immobilized him, the soldier tried in vain to get free from the detective grip, sure the detective wasn't much of a fighter but that didn't meant he couldn't protect himself in the end knock out the other.

"I hope i don't get PTSD after this day end, gosh it's feeling like it's war again. I must look real bad right now..."

As one of the automatic metal door open up, the detective took cover, it reveal a few more of the Chaos insurgency soldiers, they were heavily armed, detective Void couldn't tell exactly what they were looking for, his feet slowly bump into something that looked like a corpse, he couldn't tell which one was it since half of it was burned probably caught in one of the explosions but it still had a M4 and it was functional.

He turned around just exactly when the metal bar fell of the second floor only to to see a young female falling following by two gunshots.

Lucky detective Void caught her just on time while holding her in his arms, he could feel how two bullets flew right next to his ears hitting the two targets of the Chaos insurgency soldiers, never in his life he would thought that he would be happy to see one of the SCP foundation mobile task force approaching them, the guy had green eyes and the detective could see the worry on his face for the girl.

"Come with me and don't ask questions, this is a trap door that leads to an corridor near the Site underground parking and don't worry the SCP foundation is not that weak as you think!"

"Who are you?"

"My name is Matei, we don't have time to chat! Do you know how to use a gun like automatic guns,semi-auto hand guns, rifles, shotguns or any type of machine guns in general? Here, take this Sig sauer P320 and the keys for one of the foundation grey land-rover, oh by the way the car has tracking device so you better get rid of it once it done it's purpose! Oh and tell Hope she owns me a date with... "

"Wait, you trust me by giving me this? Aren't you suppose to capture me or something, what your employers would think about this?"

"You saved one of us from falling, pal...this is a thank you thing and now what are you waiting for? Special invitation? I trust you to get her out of here!"

Detective Void couldn't risk being seen on the surveillance cameras so he stops for a second to put down the cameras the whole incident was a great cover as he showly took Hope under his arms while the path was still clear, finding the underground parking lot and got into the near grey SCP foundation land-rover range he found.

As soon as he hit it a bullet strike the left of the car mirror that was the sign to start the car and drove fast enough out of there, tree more black cars following after.

"At least they are decent enough to equip their cars with bullet proof windows."

The second crack come, then the third and the fourth, the road wasn't too good even if the car was tall, he still felt every time the cars wheels fell into the pits, the speed was 265 km/h, he needed a plan to lose those cars, a small moan was heard, the female SCP opened her eyes for a moment, trying to reach the yellow button on the board, he instant press it... It showed a map with the curent location of their car, detective Void saw that it was a secundary forest road that had a river on it's right side, his companion also pointed toward the glove compartment that made him suspect it could have been some type of a prototype destructive bomb.

First thing he needed to buy some time, it was risky but the detective could do it, he didn't have his driving license for nothing, after that he placed the car in the position to look like it was some error on his part, the bomb needed some finger prints to activate which his companion help it with it. She understood the plan and trusted the person even if she couldn't see him better and was in pain.

The black cars soon stopped near the Land rover as the Chaos insurgency soldiers surrounded the vehicle, by the time it explode detective Void and Hope were on the other side of the river, black smoke rising as the other cars caught fire and more explosion followed after.

The two soaked wet survivors were waiting on the sideroad for someone to pick them up, her shoulder wound was bleeding heavily, a red old car stopped near them offering help.

After that he thanked the driver for his help, taking Hope, they move to his front door, he had to remove those bullets, he did have a stomach for it.

"They sure did a great job with the 7,62 mm but you will be alright, this isn't exactly a pain in the shoulder, there are much worst."

All Hope wanted was her eyes to adjust to the light and the headache to disappear, was she in the firmary, she couldn't tell and the surface on which she sat was very uncomfortable, making a mental note to tell them later. The figure in front didn't belong to anyone who she knew and the first reaction was to slap the masked man and he took a few steps back before Hope could do anything.

"You sure have a short memory... Hello and don't worry... i'm detective Void."

The silence felt for a few minutes and Hope was studing the man in front of her, she didn't know what to say, who he was or how did she end up there God knows where, so she said the first thing it come to her mind.

"Who names their child Void and hello i'm Hope, nice to meet you. Now, do you mind me asking how did a detective end up in one of the SCP foundation sites? I don't know if you know it already but this is a dangerous business with creatures that can kill you, it's not worth it throwing your life like this, even for money."

"Your boyfriend, Matei told me to take you to safety and since you are a SCP unless you want everyone to know, an hospital wasn't the best option for your condition.By the way he sure has his way when it comes to guns, you must be proud of him."

At that remark Hope sigh, why does everyone thinks she and him were a couple if only they knew how difficult was sometimes to be in the same room with Matei and still be sane after all that.

"Matei is not my boyfriend, more like a pal and brother-in-arms plus he has a crush on Vivienne and is a mini version of Dr. Bright, we did a few missions together as part of the mobile task force.And yes, he sure has his ways, they are his passion, it's his natural talent."

"So you know how to use guns? I saw the foundation has a lovely collection.Maybe i should stop someday and admire them..."

At this Hope froze, another visit from the detective means trouble and chaos for both the foundation and him, one day he will get what was coming for him if the detective keep it going like that, that will not end pretty, the thought of this made her uncomfortable and decide to change the topic.

"Do you live alone by yourself or are you married, just in case your wife will freak out when she will see me, i don't want to be the main reason of a divorce, are those copies of SCP files?"

"Those are confidential informations and you don't have acces to it..."

"So are the SCPs files, high classified details that you steal from the foundation!"

"I don't steal them, i only burrow it anyway this is about my private life and it's different!"

"Aha, anyway i should help you clean this mess, it's quite a mess here, from treating and caring a bullet wound.Hope i didn't permanent damage anything with my blood, i will pay for the cleaning bill."

"Don't worry about it, it's a wound it's normal to bleed. But i believe it will make a beautiful scar once it heals."

"Did you just call it beautiful as in a compliment?"

"In my defence I was trying to encourage you."

" Seriously, i still should clean it and then go back to the foundation for your safety, i don't want them to find you. It's nice to have someone to talk to, you know... The SCP foundation employees aren't very talkative and they are 24/7 cold as a person. "

"At least you don't want to know my identity, that is worth something."

"The mask is a part of your charm, mister...it's making you more what is the word i'm looking for, attractive in a good way, was it?"

"Did you just flirt with me?"

"No, i'm bad at flirting, i just wanted to say something nice..."

"About the leaving, you don't want to be on streets at this hour especially when the Chaos insurgency is looking for you and being in this condition."

"Why not? It's so dark outside... What time it is?"

"1:11 a.m in the morning."

It was hard for Hope to accept that she had been out for such a long time, there was no way she could give up now and just stay there, she should start to find reasons why missing so much just in case they decide to ask questions and oh boy, she wasn't happy about it.

"Well,no matter how interesting this is, you should be in bed and i will remain here just this one time, you don't mind some company, right?"

"Why was the Chaos insurgency after you? What did you do to make them angry, we barely could escape from that crazy race car chasing."

"There are some information that aren't registered and even if it were you do not have access, let's say the short version is that their mannequin SCP isn't a threat anymore and they didn't like it. "

"You wear too much red powder for cheeks, looks like you have a fever."

"It's only the blood that flows and makes my cheek to color in red, i don't need cosmetics, why do i even talk about make-up with some guy.Is this the beggining of a friendship? I would like that, mister detective. Maybe next time if we meet and we don't get into some crazy situation again, you would tell me something about your great cases as a detective."

"I'm not comfortable enough to tell you anything..."

"I understand, my uniform scares you, mister detective, don't worry i'm not that type of person to hurt her savior!"

The detective only sighs and then turned around, he needed a cup of tea, it was going to be a long night. After the detective silhouette was out of her sign, Hope slowly started to search the room, he made her curious and wanted to know a little more about him, was too stubborn to give up now.

She could see the desk and decided to look there first, it wasn't very nice of her but she had to know, she slowly got up trying to find her balance.

After some time and scanning the area Hope was disappointed, the room was modest enough, she saw a computer with a camera attached to it, some SCP photos with speculations about them, a broken photo frame, maybe this guy was lonely as she was, some questions where born in her head and a laptop with a very familiar SCP logo on it. she wanted to give up but a small noise coming from the closet raised her suspicions again...Did the detective had skeletons in his wardrobe?

Her hand was almost on the door handle when a voice interrupted her, Hope nearly froze in place, it was like a child caught red handed by their parents when they did something they weren't suppose to do.

The detective decide to ignore what he just saw, he did tell she was curious about it, it was alright in his opinion, wasn't like he hide a body or worst, he left the two cups of tea on his desk, he could still feel those eyes studing him, shivers went up to his spine.

"Are you cold? Do you want to change your clothes?They might be a little too big for you, do you have any favorite color, you would like to wear?"

"Blue or grey... And no, i'm fine."

She sure felt bad, the person in front of her was so nice, yes, maybe he did those forbidden things, he was a wanted man by the SCP foundation, but he was still innocent, he must have his reasons and it felt wrong to care about it.

"Did something happen? You were much worst than a chat a few minutes ago and now your silent."

"Oh, it's not that bad, i've got used to...well, at least in theory, in practice that is not available. It's my shoulder, do you have more anesthetic, this burning sensation really annoys me."

"I'm sorry to hear that, just one moment, i'm always prepared for things like this."

"Don't be sorry, if is sorrow you always feel then you will forget how to smile and that would be tragic, i know you have a beautiful smile."

"How do you know i have a beautiful smile, you haven't seen me smile once, i even can't remember the last time i smile."

Hope slowly raised her arm touching with her fingertip a strand of his short brown hair, the detective just stood still, he find it weird that he didn't mind it at all.

"What are you doing?"

"Just checking something, usually people in this situation won't stay still unless they trust the other person, you aren't afraid of me, you may say lot's of things but the body language says the truth. So, what's in the cups, mister detective Void? I hope it's hot chocolate, i need my daily extra energy."

The sun was rising and it's rays touched his face forcing him to open his eyes, detective Void realising he felt asleep on the couch covered with a blanket, he couldn't remember when sleep took over him probably because running for your life and taking care of someone after was in general a exhausting combination. His guess wasn't in the same room with him, this happens when you bring home more than some documents, she must have left, not that he really cared at all, right now all the detective wanted was another drink.

"Why does it smell like roses in my kitchen?"

"Oh that, well it's my perfume, it doesn't smell bad, are you allergic to it, sorry? I must say you have such a good nose even the discreet smell you can still identify it, i'm impressed."

"It's just one of my many talents, you need to have a gift if you want to become a detective and good morning!"

"Good morning, mister detective Void! I hope you slept well, and didn't have any nightmares because of the fact you have a SCP in your house. I couldn't leave without leaving a suitable goodbye."

"How did you know i like tea and what is with this? Why is giving me the atmosphere of marriage vibes?"

"It wasn't hard to know you like tea, you literaly have space just for tea plus you told me last night, i must say sometimes i enjoy a cup of chamomile tea in the winter with a good book while the snow is falling."

She then turn and took a bite of her sandwich to prove it wasn't poison or anything, she notice the look on his face, as a detective it was perfect normal to have suspicions every single time, Hope found it funny, but the truth was she would be sad if he didn't remember her anymore actually breaking her little heart.

Hope wonder if it was good, her new friend hadn't said too much and it was time to leave, it was now or never. It took a little courage to do it since she didn't exactly do that, prefers a hand shake in this situation but a part of her really wanted to do it.

She slowly approaches him, looking into his eyes, could feel her cheeck color in red, before he could ask her something, Hope said not to ruin the moment, she could feel him tense a little bit as her lips where touching his forehead but immediately relaxing, she could see he was confused.

"First i don't know how to give a proper thank you, so i felt like kissing you on the forehead and second all men loves to be kissed so why not? Goodbye for now mister detective and thank you!"

After that she made her way out and the detective didn't see her anywhere but there will be always the next time as they will meet each other again.

HC’s for level of protectiveness Part 1 (Lucifer, Mammon, Levi and Satan)

Heyyyo friends, I hope you all are getting 8 hours of sleep and eating right!!!! 😊

So I was just thinking about all the obey me boys and yes those we cant date as well and my interpretation of their characters and one of the things I couldn't help thinking about (especially after reading so many fics) was their kind of levels of protectiveness if that makes sense and since I know this would be short (considering what I usually write so still a bit long) I thought it would be cool to post like and HC about it?? I dont know but as always i hope you like it!! 😊😊

Also for this I am talking about protection in terms of various things so being protective in a physical sense vs and emotional sense... Another way you can kind of see this is as the manner in which they might take care of you... it might make more sense when you read it 😅😅

Also let me know what you think about it cause some of these might be different or controversial

Summary: How do the boys take care of you? (The list below is kind of like roughly who is most to least protective so this makes sense though overall they are all bloody protective. Also Luke = Baby therefore platonic )

LUCIFER: 6

Okay so with Lucifer I actually don’t think he would be the most protective of M/C but hear me out okay! I think yes instinctually he would want to make sure no harm comes to them and like shelter them from the world but I think after the whole Lilith thing and also growing up with mainly brothers he would know that over-sheltering can lead to worse consequences than better ones and so I think he would hold back more than his brothers. I think he also knows that a part of your experience in Devildom is learning about demons and their life in general and yes you are more fragile compared to them so obviously it will be a bumpy ride but that is exactly whats going to make it an educational experience you know.

Thats not to say he is not going to be protective at all because after all he is the oldest brother and I think he sees it as his duty to hold a balance between keeping you safe and making sure you walk away from an experience as stronger and more confident in yourself, something that would only be reinforced if you are already not that confident in yourself. I mean he already does it for all his brothers and he sees you as part of the family.

I think for this reason he would be more protective of you based of physical safety rather than emotional. So say you were in a confrontation with another lower level demon, if it was verbal he would not step in, he would expect you to at least for the first few minutes hold your own and stand up for yourself, and seeing you do that would make him smile cause he would feel pride which is like you know his whole thing. But if it were to get even remotely physical, like if the demon were to even wave their hand angrily in your direction Lucifer is jumping in before anyone can say anything to literally hide you in the cocoon of his wings no questions asked. The other demon should have enough sense to walk away then cause otherwise Lucifer is not leaving him alone.

This can be both positive and negative. Positive because at the end of the day they are demons and they are stronger and your life is in danger so having him step in is good but the emotional burden of this stuff could possibly be more hurtful than the physical part and so despite him stepping in the damage could already be done you know?

He would notice the change in your behaviour where you would be more reserved but I don’t think he would understand until maybe one of the brothers like Asmo, Beel or even Satan who I would say read emotions better recognise that its the emotional aspect that is hurting you would point it out to Lucifer.

He would try to make a change and to make sure that the emotional side of things doesn’t get too much from that point on but I also think it would take him time.

I also firmly believe that as much as this being loves all of his brothers with all his heart and trusts most of them he would under no circumstance trust his brothers with you unless Beel is there, who could very easily, no matter how heavy you are, sling you over his shoulder and run away. This is not because his brothers don’t love you or take care of you, I mean usually they go overboard but because trouble seems to follow them as if it were literally a part of them. From Mammon dragging you into chaotic and worrisome schemes and interactions with witches, to Levi not being the least bothered by the outside world and forgetting 3D humans exist, to Satan losing his temper, to some old lovers of Asmo becoming angry, to Belphie falling asleep in dangerous places… Your life seems to be in a lot of danger and so unless Beel or himself is present Lucifer would have a hard time leaving you completely alone in their care. It would be even harder if you all were actually leaving the dorm. I do think though he would be most forgiving of what happened with Belphie because he would blame himself.

I know this seems contradictory since he usually does leave you alone but its usually in places which are a) safe like RAD or the Dorm and b) places where Beel, Diavolo, Barbatros or himself would be easily accessible.

Overall I don’t think he is the most protective but he is definitely up there in that he wants you to be safe, happy and not on the verge of death at any point of time. Yes you may get hurt sometimes especially emotionally and he might not be the most sympathetic but at the end of the day its only because he wants the best for you and if someone does go too far he is more than happy to pay the person a visit or even send Beel.

MAMMON: 1

Writing fluffy stuff for Mammon always makes my heart flutter because the poor thing is so sweet and sensitive even if he hates letting people see that side but I am still going to do my best. I think he is one of the main brothers who is not just protective by all standards but he is also the most protective in each and every manner and though he will deny it later he does not think at all before stepping in.

Again I can see several reasons for it but the most prominent one that comes to mind is that he really likes the idea of taking care of someone, having someone depend on him and making him feel needed. This can also be why he feels so possessive of you and always claims to be your first man because he wants to be the first one to come your mind for anything. Despite being the second oldest, due to his sin and the reputation he holds, his brothers don’t depend on him as much as he may want them to which is why not only do their words hurt so much each time but he is really starved of love and so he takes that need to protect and directs all of it on you. His indulgence in his greed takes a toll on the relationship between him and his brothers and so they might not come to him seeming him as almost inadequate and that stings. For the first time there is someone who actually looks up to him for love, reassurance, comfort and safety and so he takes it very seriously. He never wants you to think that he can’t be there for you or that someone is more apt for looking after you other than him and this would be the case even if you guys were best friends and not in a relationship.

Another reason I can see him being protective of you is because and this is especially if you are kind hearted or compassionate or even just naive; He knows people will take advantage of you and all that you have to offer. He is the literal Avatar of Greed, he knows that people are often greedy for things besides money and would take advantage of someone like you so he sees it as his moral duty to just keep you from this side of the world you know… Its just he knows the world can be cruel and he can’t help but want to shelter you from all of it. Despite being a demon he loves the innocence you hold and just keep with you. You are also probably the positive ray of sunshine for him no matter what your personality is. He looks to you for the very things he can’t find anywhere else and so he wants to protect your smile.

Unlike Lucifer he won’t realise that some experiences in life are necessary. This would be reinforced when you open up to him about what you may or may not have gone through once you both get closer or when he sees you cry for the first time. In this sense I feel like Mammon’s protectiveness of you is the most pure and loving of the brothers not because the others love you less but because despite being greedy it doesn’t come from a place of selfishness or atoning for past mistakes. He is not going to hold back in favour of you learning things nor is the protectiveness driven by the fact that he lost Lilith. I think he does the best job at separating you from her, it is driven solely by love and genuine want to see you happy.

With that said if he were to see any demon get verbally or physically rough with you he is immediately stepping in no matter what you say. A demon that had the gall to call you weak or say anything else; woman hold Goldie while Mammon clobbers them, only he gets to call you that. (you know that UR card of him shaking his fist while wearing bunny ears - I imagine that same image just without the ears). Someone tried to hit you in anyway; He gets someone else to cover your eyes or to distract you while he beats them into a pulp (I imagine like cartoon noises while Asmo covers your eyes and gets Solomon to cover your ears; boom/bamf/slap). On that note he is also protective of what you see; He doesn’t want you to lose your positivity so he doesn't like letting you see like bad things. I can see him like covering your ears when something dark graphic or sad is being said or like covering your eyes when someone is getting hurt or something. He would then take you back to your room all the while grumbling about how he did it cause Lucifer would chew him out when in reality the idea of you remotely hurt he just can’t stand. He would then sit and have a movie night with you which would eventually end up with him hugging you and making sure you are okay.

When it comes to his brothers, I think yes, he trusts them and he knows you would be safe with them but I think he doesn’t like the idea that its true and this would only happen after everything has resolved itself. He is protective before because he knows he has the best control when it comes to not letting his anger get the best of him. Except for Asmo each brother has come close to literally obliterating you and so I can see him holding caution if that makes sense. I also can see him never leaving you alone after the Belphie situation (if you know you know). I think the Belphie thing will never leave him like ever, thats just going to sit in his chest because it would be a reality. He now knows exactly what will happen and what it feels to not have you and so in that sense with Belphie around he is protective.

Overall, I genuinely think he is the most protective of the brothers. Some may argue that Beel is more but I think Mammon is the most sensitive when it comes to you and he is more protective of you. Whether Beel is better equipped to be protective of you is a different question but in my head Mammon tops the list. It comes from a place of love and sincerity and I think thats what would make it seem so beautiful.

LEVIATHAN: 11

Okay for Levi I won’t lie it was a bit difficult for me to write only because his character was difficult to grasp in terms of character development (Same for Satan and Asmo btw). With that said I think his protection for you would come in a completely different form form the others. I think physically despite being a demon and being amazingly strong he underestimates himself and would not jump into a physical altercation with anyone. (unless his demon form took over or it is Mammon) He would probably leave that to Beel or one of his other brothers instead trash talking the other person as just support. Emotionally also I think he has such a bad self image that things that may be emotionally burdensome or hurtful for you he thinks are normal. Though after he spends time with you he will start changing that way of thinking. Emotionally he might just insult that person back for you though I think, regardless of whether it’s true or not, he believes that you can hold up your own and so would not get involved.

His protection (though with Levi I genuinely don’t think thats the right word) would be giving you confidence when you need it most and backing you up if that makes sense? I guess you can see that as emotional protection but I genuinely only see him being protective when like someone is blaming you for something you haven't done or like your sincerity is being questioned. For him thats bigger than any physical or emotional insult, not because he thinks you are like invincible but because he has learnt to brush them of and he thinks everyone can do the same. However because he believes so strongly in your values and morals as a person he would not, could not and will not take any insult for you in that way. I think thats why he is so important as a character because he balances out the others by being sort of different because his way of protection is different. He is physically strong, he is also quick witted and has sharp tongue but unlike the others he doesn’t see these as his strengths. He sees support and diligence in being a friend as his strong suits and actively shows that to you; I think thats so beautiful. So for example if Lucifer is chewing you out for a bad grade despite the fact that you worked hard for it. I can see Levi standing up for you and telling Lucifer that the work you put in is what matters more. He would do it casually. Though these times are rare I think these are times Levi is most vocal.

I also think he would be the first to realise that sometimes a person needs protection most from themselves and so another way he would protect you is by teaching you to brush of others or when you are being too harsh with yourself and just pushing yourself too much due to his persistence and somewhat loud reactions he will force you to take a break and take care of yourself even if you don’t want to. He understands pushing yourself also because he does it for his games but he does recognise the difference in seriousness of the situation and would step in.

With his brothers it really depends on a) the situation b) the brother and c) the duration for which he has to be outside his room. For example if it is Beel, Asmo, Satan or Lucifer I think he would be completely fine and would not care because he would know that all four of them would not let anything happen to you or would step in before anything could (whether this judgement is true or not is still up for discussion). With Mammon I think because their sins are kind of similar but also different in that they are both greedy but unlike Mammon who would just indulge in the greed Levi sulks about not getting it. So he would not like leaving you with Mammon but at the end of the day he knows Mammon does love and care for you and so if there was a situation where he had to leave you with Mammon he would do it... while grumbling. The only person I can see him holding extreme caution with is Belphie. He would play it under the guise of either he doesn't want to leave you in an awkward situation with Belphie but I think the deeper insecurity would be having his friend taken away from him again. Here is someone who hasn't just agreed to be his friend but actively tried to engage and deepen the relationship and for him that is probably rare, even more so because unlike Solomon who wanted to make a pact with him your love for this relationship comes from a genuine care and want to get to know him and the fear of having someone take that away from him would mean he would be protective with Belphie around, maybe not as much as Mammon but still.

Overall i’ve done my best to see him as somewhat protective but honestly in this character list for this trait he comes last. His relationship be it friendship or romantic is based more on mutual comfort and care and so I think him being protective is rare. He prefers to show his care and love for you by spending time with you, making you laugh, caring for you. The image I have is like there are two separate doors. One is to his world and the other is yours. Every morning you both go and deal with all the annoyances of your lives and then come back battered and bruised; sometimes it’s not that bad but other days its the worst right and then as you come back you both kind of nurse the life back into each other and just soak the comfort of the other in and thats the way I see that relationship build. The only other thing I could see is when envy turns into jealousy (and YES they are separate things) but that would be once you guys start going out. I also think no matter what personality you have, you would be the more protective one solely because he needs it more in life.

SATAN: 4

Okay so Satan I think is very interesting in this regard because despite being the Avatar of Wrath he is not the most visibly protective. Key word; visibly. So far Lucifer; physically more so than emotionally, Mammon; the most in both regards, Levi; the least but all still very apparent in their protectiveness. I really think and actually like the idea of Satan being protective but kind of from a distance like he is watching over you without you ever realising it. This is for a couple reasons.

The first being that he prides himself on his ability to control though obviously he doesn’t have the best control of the brothers I think proportional to the difficulty of his sin he does a pretty amazing fricking job. Given that, he wouldn’t at any point want M/C to see him lose control except for the times they already have right? And since being protective can mean he could lose control, he would not visibly be protective.

I also think he likes to hold onto this idea that he is the most nonchalant and unaffected by what goes on around him. He likes to hold a reputation of being cool, pragmatic and like he has control; a lot like Lucifer actually (what a surprise) and so if someone (especially M/C) were to see him get huffy he would be really irritated. Lastly again like Lucifer he thinks besides books the best way to enrich your own life is by experiencing things first hand or at least trying them once and so he would want M/C to learn to stand up for themselves especially in situations where the brothers may not be there and you would have to hold their own (this is rare but still).

With that said I think he actually is probably fourth most protective on this list (12 other character so thats pretty high) and this is only because he protects you from a distance. So say a demon had picked on you in class right or said something hurtful, something that you are insecure about. In the moment Satan would not react allowing you to handle it yourself, letting you feel the accomplishment of having gotten through it and standing up for yourself. Then later he would catch the demon when no one else was around and thats when he would make a move. He would make it clear that if the demon were to ever attack you in anyway again Satan would not be nearly as lenient as he is being now. He would definitely rough up said demon so that they knew he meant it. He is also a bit of sadist so if anyone were to hurt you he would let the person think they got away with it only because the chase for him would be all the sweeter and he would get to blow of steam.

I also think that Satan is one of the more emotionally intelligent demons and does a better job on picking up on emotions faster similar to Levi the protectiveness or better yet the care would come after. He would make sure that whatever the situation, there were no long lasting effects on you. So say that demon had picked on an insecurity right, Satan would make sure you knew and understood that not a word of it were true and that you were oh so loved. He would make sure there were no nightmares following the situation and if you needed someone to be there and to talk to he would be there.

I think if it had been physical right? Yes he would jump into it and make sure that the other person didn’t go too far but again to avoid showing you his true wrath he would find the demon later and would not let him get away. I think this is also where he might, despite his aversion to the oldest demon, ask Lucifer to step in and send one of the other brothers solely because like I said Satan’s protectiveness of you is based on this not having any long lasting effects. He would want to be the first one you go to for comfort or even to patch you up. He knows he has physical strength and obviously wants to hold this person accountable but your emotional well being comes first.

When it comes to his brothers I see this going two ways. Firstly (this makes me sad) despite knowing his brothers do dumb stuff and keep getting everyone into trouble he trusts them in keeping you more safe than he ever could because he is the Avatar for Rage which just makes me want to cry. He feels like he is always strung too tight and despite having marvelous control (again proportionally) he would still be wary of being alone with you for too long and would think he is worse than his brothers. (On a similar note; it really pisses me of that it’s not recognised how unfair Satan’s sin truly is. The others are indulging in their sins and its written of as being okay but for Satan that is not a luxury he can afford)

On the other hand I think he trusts Mammon, Levi, Belphie and even Beel as far as he could throw them when it comes to you. Mammon because well its Mammon. Levi because Satan is worried he would literally forget that you exist or might break your brain by talking like one of his 2D characters. Mammon and Levi together is an interaction Satan actively makes you avoid without even realising because Diavolo forbid you get caught in one of their squabbles. He would literally have you stand behind him when those two are together. Belphie because despite his possessiveness of you as the Avatar of Sloth he doesn’t like putting energy into things and would definitely not be fast enough to jump into saving you if the need arose. Also I think Satan would be somewhere in the middle on the scale of trusting Belphie because he understands anger better than anybody else but he also knows what Belphie did was not right. Beel only because despite Beel warning Mammon that whatever he is doing is not safe he waits until the last minute to intervene and for someone like Satan who literally plans for everything preemptively thats very draining to worry about.

Overall he is protective on most standards but he likes to be protective from a distance almost like a guardian demon you know. He gets to keep to his ideas and values while still giving you space and not being suffocating but also still taking care of you and I think thats really beautiful that the avatar of wrath goes to such extents and its all for you like thats pretty amazing.
