LOVE THAT BURNS MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
< previous chapter
Word Count: 2,215ish
Summary: After being at the mansion for 22 years, your world gets turned upside down.
Warnings: person believed to be dead is not dead, passing out, tears
Notes: Y'all it's gonna be angst with brief spurts of fluff for a hot minute. Good luck. Reminder: I DO NOT do taglists. Please don’t ask. Please follow and interact! I appreciate any reblogs, likes, comments, and asks!

As the years went on, students came and went. The three that you now considered your family each went off to college when it was time. They all ended up back at the mansion eventually, to teach and be official X-Men members. You watched as Scott and Jean fell in love and began a relationship. You watched as Ororo became an amazing teacher.
Charles watched you carefully throughout the years. He had seen glimpses of what you had gone through, but you never fully opened up to anyone. He was glad that you stayed though, making a positive impact on the students, especially the three that ended up staying on as teachers. Charles watched as you held your dog tags during the hard moments and let your smile free during the good times. He could see that you were healing from your past. It was slow, but it was there.
Winter had decided upon New York, which meant that those in the mansion annoying decided to need your abilities more. It was easier for you to light on the fires in the mansion than for everyone to try and do it themselves. It became another job of yours. Some days you didn’t mind and other days you found it annoying. Today was one of those days you found it annoying. Mostly because Jean was following you around.
“Come on, Y/N,” she pled. “Just one night. One! Scott, Ororo, and I will even come with you.”
“I am not going to singles night at the local bar,” you told her, lighting another fireplace as you walked by. “Besides, you and Scott going is ridiculous.”
“In all the time I’ve known you, which is twenty two years by the way, you’ve never once gone on a date.”
“Don’t want to.”
“You’re almost 71, Y/N, and you barely look at day over thirty! You need to go out and live a little!”
“I have lived, Jean. I’ve also have loved and I’m good to not do it again.”
“Oh, yes, your mysterious long-lost love. You know that I could slip into your mind and find out all about him.”
“No need. He’s dead.”
“Then it’s time to move on!”
“Jean—“
“Just think about it, please? For me?”
“No.”
“Fine. I guess I’ll figure out another way to get you out of this dusty old mansion.”
“I leave the mansion all the time.”
“Not for fun.”
“Missions are fun.”
“Really? Cause I think I remember you complaining about the last one.”
You remained silent, heading to the main common living room to light the large fireplace. Once it was lit, you stared at the flames, making them dance.
Jean sighed. “I’m sorry, okay? I just want you to be happy. I’m worried about you.”
“I am happy,” you replied, forcing out a small smile.
She gave you an unconvinced look. “Are you? You’ve basically been doing the same thing for twenty-two years. Don’t you want to… I don’t know, change it up?”
“I’m content, Jean.”
“Do you really not want more to your life? Maybe there another chance at love out there, just waiting for you… I just want you to not be alone.”
“I’m not alone.”
“For now.”
“Thanks for this rousing pep talk, Jean. Very helpful.” You turned and headed out.
“Y/N! I’m sorry!”
You were grateful that Jean didn’t follow you. You knew she meant well, but you didn’t want to find another love. You had a great love with James and believed that nothing could compare.
~~~
A few hours later, Charles called you, Scott, Jean and Ororo into his office.
“There’s two mutants that need our help,” Charles stated. “I need two of you to go and retrieve them.”
“I’ll go,” Scott said.
“Me, too,” you offered.
“Actually, Y/N, I need you here,” Charles said.
Your brows furrowed in confusion. “What for?”
“To prepare the lab.”
“The lab?” You weren’t buying it. “What’s going on?”
“I simply need you here.”
“You’re lying.”
“Y/N—“
“What are you keeping from me, Charles?”
“Please just trust me on this. For now.”
“Fine.” You turned and left.
Charles sighed. “This is to protect her,” he explained to the others. “Someone is coming that will ruin the peace she has found here.”
“What do you mean, Professor?” Ororo asked.
“Someone from her past. Someone she believes is dead. I even believed him to be dead until today.”
“I’ll keep an eye out on Y/N,” Jean said.
Charles nodded. “Ororo?”
“I’ll go with Scott,” she responded.
“Thank you. We must work together to be there for Y/N as her life is about to get turned upside down.”
~~~
You felt like you were being sidelined and you hated it. You could handle whatever was coming that Charles felt like you couldn’t. After you had prepared the lab, you waited in the hangar bay for Scott and Ororo to returned. It wasn’t long before Jean joined you.
“I know that you’re babysitting me,” you grumbled, keeping your eyes on the large doors above. “Why?”
“Someone is coming,” Jean stated, like it was that simple.
Your head snapped towards Jean. “Who?”
“I don’t know. Charles just said that someone was coming. And that he’s from your past.”
Your heart began hammering in your chest. Who could possibly be coming? You jumped as the large hangar doors began opening above you. The jet descended and the ramp opened up. You watched as Ororo led a young woman off of the jet. Scott wasn’t too far behind, pushing a body laid out on the stretcher. As soon as you caught a glimpse of the body, it felt like your lungs stopped working.
He looked mostly the same as twenty-two years ago, except his hair was styled a bit differently and his facial hair was a bit more scruffy looking. You stumbled closer to try and get a better look. Scott stopped the stretcher as he watched you with growing concern.
“James?” You breathed out.
Before you could get any closer—before you could touch him, your body gave out and you collapsed onto the floor.
“Y/N!” Your friends exclaimed.
Jean rushed towards you, checking you over. “She’s unconscious,” she stated.
“She knows him?” Scott wondered.
Charles rolled into the room. “This is who I was talking about,” he said. “Scott, take Y/N to her room. Jean can handle Logan.”
Scott came over and lifted you, carefully carrying you out of the hangar.
“Do you know who he is to her, Professor?” Jean asked, studying the stranger.
“I do,” he responded. “But it’s not my place and it is not your place to pry in either of their thoughts. All you will find is pain.”
“Pain? Should we be concerned? Should we even be letting this man into the mansion?”
“Logan belongs here, just as the rest of us do. Y/N and Logan will have to deal with their past, in their own ways and time.”
~~~
You woke up in your room, alone. For a brief moment, you forgot what put you there. Then it hit you like a freight train.
James was alive.
Twenty-two years of believing that he was dead was all a lie.
Guilt wracked you. You should have fought harder to leave the school. You should have searched for him.
Had James been searching for you this entire time?
What had he been through?
Sitting up, you got out of bed and headed down the hall. You needed to talk to Charles. He had known something about James this morning and you needed the truth. As you headed down downstairs, you were too caught up in your own mind to notice anything. Suddenly, you rammed into someone, their hands going to your arms to steady you.
“Watch where you’re going, sweetheart.”
You gasped, eyes snapping up to James’ face. “James,” you breathed out.
His brows furrowed in confusion. “James? I think you got me confused with someone else.” His hands dropped from your arms and he began to frantically looked around. Almost like he was hearing something that you weren’t. “I’ve got to go.” He was gone before you could stop him.
You swear your heart could be heard shattering to the floor from miles away. Tears overwhelmed your eyes as your legs threatened to collapse beneath you. Before you could fall, Ororo’s arm was around your waist, keeping you up.
“I’ve got you,” she whispered.
“Please tell me this is a dream,” you begged. “This is a nightmare, right?”
Ororo shook her head, looking at you with concern. “You’re very much awake.”
You couldn’t prevent the sobs from ripping through you. Ororo was quick to pull you completely into her and hold you close. She rubbed a hand up and down your back, trying to calm you.
“What’s going on?” Scott’s voice sounded from behind you.
You pulled away from Ororo, quickly wiping at your face and taking deep breaths.
“I’m fine,” you said, but it was clearly not believable.
“Y/N—“
“Drop it, Scott.”
Scott clenched his jaw, frustrated with you. “The Professor wants us in his office.”
You nodded silently. Jean walked up and could sense the unease. She shot you a smile before she lead you to the Professor’s office with Ororo and Scott leading the way. You could hear James on the other side of the door before Ororo opened it.
“Ah, Logan, I’d like you to meet Ororo Monroe, also called Storm,” Charles introduced as Ororo walked in with Scott right behind her. “This is Scott Summers, also called Cyclops. They saved your life.” Jean led you in with her. “I believe you’ve already met Dr. Jean Grey.” As if this situation couldn’t get any worse, you immediately noticed the way James was checking out Jean. “And this is Y/N L/N, also called Ember.”
Jean lead you past James—Logan— guiding you to a chair. Your eyes stayed on Logan. He was wearing sweatpants and a zip-up sweatshirt, revealing part of his chest and the dog tags that rested there. Your heart stopped for a moment when you noticed that your engagement ring was hanging next to the dog tags.
“You’re in my school for the gifted,” Charles continued. “For mutants. You’ll be safe here from Magneto.”
“What’s a magneto?” Logan asked. His eyes darted towards you, an uneasiness settles in his stomach. There was something about you. Something he couldn’t quite place.
“A very powerful mutant, who believes a war is brewing between mutants and the rest of humanity. I’ve been following his activities for some time. The man who attacked you is an associate of his called, Sabretooth.”
“Sabretooth?” Logan scoffed. “Storm…” He pointed at her, clicking his tongue. “What do they call you? Wheels?” He laughed. “This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.” He turned towards the doorway, only for Scott to be in his way. “And Cyclops, right?” He grabbed Scott’s jacket. “You wanna get outta my way?”
“Logan, it’s been almost twenty-two years, hasn’t it?” James paused. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed you tense. “Living from day to day, moving from place to place,” James dropped his grip on Scott, “with no memory of who or what you are.”
Logan turned, “shut up.”
“Give me a chance. I may be able to help you find some answers.”
Logan could hear your heartbeat pick up, like you knew something. He turned, narrowing his eyes at you. You immediately looked like you wanted to be anywhere else. “What do you know?”
“I— I—,” you stammered, trying to gain control of your spiraling thoughts. You stood up. “I’ve got to go.” Logan grabbed your wrist as you pushed past him. You were quick to heat up your skin, causing him to let go.
“Ah!” Logan exclaimed, shaking his hand as it healed from the burns.
“You’re not the only one with gifts,” Charles said with a smirk as you disappeared from Logan’s view.
~~~
Charles led Logan on a tour of the mansion, with you trying to go about your regularly scheduled day. But, for some reason, James—Logan, was always nearby. You could feel his eyes on you when you weren’t looking and you were fairly sure that he could feel your eyes just the same. You were in the stables, trying to get away from Logan, when Charles led him in there.
“I’ll make a deal with you,” Charles told Logan. “Give me 48 hours to find out what Magneto wants with you, and I give you my word that I will use all my power to help you piece together what you’ve lost, and what you’re looking for.”
Logan glanced up at you, briefly making eye contact before you scurried away. “That… girl,” Logan said, pointing to where you were standing. “Who is she?”
Charles gave Logan a kind smile. “Y/N is very much a woman, Logan. Don’t let looks deceive you.”
“Yes, but… there’s something about her. Something… familiar…” He stopped himself, shaking his head. “I think I must’ve hit my head too hard.”
“You should rest more. Your abilities may heal you, but that doesn’t mean you don’t need rest.”
“You’ve got 48 hours. Then I want the help you promised.”

The man of my dreams
Getting pregnant was the best thing I've ever done in my life. I used to be the invisible kid in class. I was skinny, unattractive, nobody noticed me. I never had a boyfriend, and I had a hard time finding a guy to fuck. But sometimes life has surprises in store.
One night at a fraternity party I got drunk and woke up the next day naked on a bed. I didn't remember anything that had happened the day before, but something in me felt different.
It took me a couple of weeks to figure out what it was. That night I don't remember I got pregnant. I was carrying a baby.
A month into the pregnancy, my belly was already showing a little. My skin glowed, my hair looked better than ever and my body grew. Something clicked with my fellow faculty members because from that day on I started getting visitors in my room or they would offer to accompany me to the bathrooms every time I had to leave class to pee. And it only got better as the months went by.
Frank, Isaak, Daniel, David, Aaron, Scott, Bruce, Bob… there wasn't a guy who didn't approach me since I got pregnant. Tall, muscular, blondes, brunettes, attractive, and with huge dicks. My ass had never had such a good time as it had these past few months.
But there was only one problem. The one guy I'd always liked, the one I'd been talking to at that party nine months ago, George, was the only one who hadn't paid any attention to me. He was the most handsome man I'd ever seen. Tall, athletic, intelligent, dark hair and beard. Someone mysterious, but successful. The man of my life, even if he didn't know it yet.
These last few weeks, on the other hand, my sexual activity has slowed down quite a bit. My huge belly, I am expecting triplets after all, prevents me from going to class every day. The doctor has recommended me to rest, so my encounters have gone. My pleasure lately is to eat like a pig, while lying in my underwear on the couch watching episodes of Friends.
One of these days, while I was devouring two huge pizzas, the doorbell rang. With great difficulty I got up and approached the door. I had to stop a couple of times, because for the last couple of days the contractions have started. I'm about to give birth, it's nothing unusual.
When I opened the door my water almost broke. The man that was waiting only lives in my dreams. George was standing there, wearing a tight white T-shirt that showed all his muscles. I didn't know how to react, I didn't know what to say, I was speechless:
- "Hello, handsome" - He said to me with a perfect smile.
- "H... h... hi. What are you doing here?" - I answered with a blush on my face. Was that a dream I was seeing?
- "I think you have something that's mine… ours. Don't you?"
- "What do you mean?" - I was speechless again. What would I want to say.
- "Nine months ago we were together... don't you remember? I was scared after fucking you, it was my first time with a man and I never felt that good with someone. I was stupid, I ran away and I haven't dared to come back here".
- "You? Was it you? Did you get me pregnant?"
- "Yes, I think I did. I spent the night with you, we were together all the time and after many drinks you took me to bed."
- "Thank you. I couldn't say anything else..."
- "Thank you?"
- "Yes, thank you for giving me the greatest gift of my life." - We were both crying and smiling at the same time.
- "Get the over here!" - He grabbed my face with his two strong hands and kissed me with a passion I had never felt before.
We kissed and went to the bed. He helped me take off my boxers and ate my whole cock. Fuck, what is this, I've never been so hard. If I didn't cum four times I didn't cum any, and this had only just begun.
With the same confidence with which he appeared in my house he grabbed my belly on both sides and kissed every inch of my skin and sucked my breasts that were already a considerable size with milk. My body was filled with an electricity that I had never experienced before. I was in heaven. This is real love.
When I thought it was all over, he opened my legs and pushed his penis in. A slow, gentle movement. The gentleness, the pleasure, the rhythm. Again, this man is a sex god, and the father of my children. He is mine. He is mine. HE IS MINE.
And then... the waters broke. A whirlwind of water rushed out of me. The three little people who united us forever were coming. In the end I will not give birth alone, George is here with me. Dad and daddy, finally together.

the fact that nobody called Derek out on his sudden "no, no, we shouldn't immediately murder" attitude in season 3B is so funny
Derek killed Peter, Jackson, and wanted to kill Lydia, but when it's Stiles? Nope, suddenly non-violence is the only answer.
it's one of the things i love about 3B so, so, so much.
i think the only people who could reasonably call derek on it would be scott and peter. scott may have noticed but he wouldn't have on this. not when he was desperate. peter sort of did when derek became focused on the chessboard but instead he was kind of helpful about it. perhaps taking a little pity on his nephew.
riddled is such a great episode for various reasons. scott is terrified of what's happening to stiles. the look on his face when isaac suggests after seeing stiles room that it's insanity all but screams scott is thinking about claudia just like the sheriff is. scott may not have known the name of the disease claudia had but he knew enough. it's the first time scott sees the bite as a gift when he all but offers it to stiles. a last resort because they both know stiles really doesn't want it but it's an option and one claudia never had.
but what gets me is scott immediately calls derek. he's scared about stiles's wellbeing. scott hates involving derek in things and usually only contacts him as a last resort but not here.
scott may willfully put his fingers in his ears and close his eyes to the stiles and derek dynamic but we spent time on him realizing that stiles and derek made friends without him in 3A.
so he calls derek knowing derek will help.
derek is the most transparent we ever see him in 3B. derek enjoys having a certain amount of mystery about him with scott and company. he likes his local cryptid status with them. keeps them on their toes.
like yeah derek mellowed somewhat in season 3 but when stiles is in danger all his known methods and strategies go out the window.
he's teaching chemosignals to scott. he's revealing he knows stiles by scent well enough to be able to tell that stiles was having a fight with himself. he's purposefully seeking out argent to gauge how much of a threat he is to stiles.
he investigates what happened on the night with barrow and even takes kira along for the investigation. same guy who saw lydia was immune to a werewolf bite and went "yep absolutely the kanima gotta kill her" instead of looking for other reasons.
this man doesn't even investigate himself when he's losing his powers the next season. derek baby what you doing?
the nogitsune so called him out this by using his loft as essentially a safe place to hide from the oni. it purposefully used derek as protection right beside the sheriff because neither of them could kill stiles and it knew that.
stiles spent 2.5 seasons gaining derek's trust. stiles is the one who learns about derek's past and checks on his wellbeing. stiles is the one who makes an effort to understand him. the only two people we ever see offer derek comfort are stiles and cora.
stiles earned derek's trust so much by this point not only would derek do just about anything to protect stiles but stiles became his anchor.
the derek hale committee for the protection and safety of stiles stilinski founded 2011.

Fake dating pt.3
Tumblr media
Stiles stilinski x Fem!reader
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
A few days had passed since the party and you were sitting in class about to die from boredom, when suddenly you felt your phone buzz, you looked down to see that an unknown number has texted you.
“Hey it’s Lydia, I’m going shopping after school, you should come with”
You stared at the message half wondering how she got your number and half wondering if you should go or not, but if stiles would have found out that Lydia “his future wife” as he would put it, asked you to hang out with her and you said no, he would have your head on a stick, so you agreed.
“Yeah sure sounds fun!”
“Great! meet me in the parking lot after school, later.”
Read 12:05
You sighed and put your back phone down, thinking about what this day will lead to, hoping hanging out with Lydia wouldn’t be too awkward since all the conversation you had with her in the past was only related to school and nothing else.
lunch rolled around and you were seated across from stiles and Scott siting in the library since all of you had a project you needed to work on for Econ, you had been minding your own business as Scott and stiles talked among themselves to which you usually zoned out because 9 times out of 10 it’s related to something stupid
“Scott I’m telling you, he’s out to get me 110% he’s going to end up being the next super villain we’re going to have to fight”
“Stiles for the last time Mr. Harris, our chemistry teacher, is not out to get you just because he moved you to sit at the front” Scott said rolling his eyes
“Okay, but when he turns out to be a crazy supernatural thing, don’t say I didn’t say so!” Stiles said pointing a finger at Scott, sparking a small fight between the two
“Guys!” You said in hushed yelling tone “just because you don’t want to do your work, doesn’t mean there’s other people not wanting to do their work, be quite”
“Someone’s in a bad mood” stiles muttered, to which you gave him a sharp look to shut him up
“Look I won’t have time to do this later, so I need to do most of it now.”
“What are you doing later?” Scott and stiles said at the same time
“I’m going to the mall with Lydia after school” you said shrugging your shoulders and going back to work
“Wha- and you didn’t tell me?!” Stiles stuttered out
“Why? you wanted me to invite you?” You said in a condescending voice “so you can hold our bags and tell us which bra looks better on us” you said sarcastically
“Uh a-are you serious or…” obviously the king of sarcasm didn’t pick up on it
You rolled your eyes, and closed your book putting it back in your bag, and heading for the door tired of stiles stupidity
“Wait y/n you didn’t answer my question! Were you being serious or not?” Stiles said pouting.
The school day finally came to an end and you were standing in the parking lot talking to Scott and stiles about your upcoming Econ project when suddenly Lydia popped up calling your name
“Y/n! Hey you ready” she said smiling grabbing your arm
“Uh yeah, yeah totally let’s go” you said giving her a smile
“Great, oh and this must be your friends from the party” she said looking stiles up and down twirling her hair, and you swore you saw stiles knees almost buckle from the way Lydia was looking at him, which made you roll your eyes at him
“Yeah this is Stiles and Scott, you know the same two people you went to elementary with” you pointed out
“Hmm doesn’t ring a bell, but If their a friend of yours then their friends of mine” Lydia said tilting her head giggling
“Right, well we should go, don’t want to get stuck in traffic” you suggested tired of seeing Lydia “sly” way of flirting with stiles
“Your right, my cars this way cmon”
“Yeah she’ll be right with you” stiles said pulling your arm waving bye to Lydia “okay this is good this is good you need to become best friends with okay”
“Stiles calm down alright we’re just going to the mall, and I mean what if she ask if we’re dating I’m going to have to say yes since half the school thinks we are” you pointed out
“If she ask say its complicated, girls love guys in a complicated relationship” stiles said, and you just gave him a look “cmon y/n/n please, do this for me?” He said and you practically melted
“Okay okay” you sighed “but I can’t promise you I’m going to be best friends with her, but I’ll put in a good word”
“I love you that’s why you’re my best friend!” Stiles said pulling you into a bear hug
“Hey! I thought I was your best friend?” Scott said from behind stiles
“You are, but y/n just a little higher on my scale right now Scotty boy” stiles said patting Scott’s shoulder
“Right so Lydia’s waiting, I’ll text you guys later, bye!”
“Bye!”

At long last, I would like to present you all with a 2000+ word ramble about
WHY I THINK JIMMY SOLIDARITYGAMING COULD WIN THE LIFE SERIES
This WILL be long, this WILL be rambling, and I WON’T always get info correct, but I’m very passionate about the fact that Jimmy really is a good player, but happens to be an even better content creator (I’ll explain what I mean by this later!)
To start, I will analyze every death of his (although I will be excluding many from Limited Life for time reasons) because I believe that most of them can be categorized as some mix of Bad Luck, Accident, and/or Silly Decision. Then, in a different section, I’ll focus mainly on the Silly Decision deaths/explain why I don’t think he will win even if he could! I’ll also add in a TLDR section at the very end to try and summarize the big points I made. Anyways, let’s get into it!
3RD LIFE:
First death - Dare To Flare - Silly Decision
Ah, Jimmy’s first death. This is one of the Silliest Decisions of all, but it also demonstrates a characteristic of Jimmy’s playstyle that we see very frequently throughout the rest of the series: when presented with a high-risk high-reward situation, he almost always attempts the situation, even if the chance of success is negligible. There was never really that much of a chance to win Dare To Flare without cheating, and others had already died trying, but he still gave it a shot!
Second death - TNT Minecart - Accident/Silly Decision (I can't find yellow so I guess orange will do,,)
Our first multi-category death! To me, this one ultimately feels more like an accident than anything else, due to Jimmy not knowing how exactly TNT minecarts worked at the time, but I also have to qualify it as partly a silly decision because Scott did tell him not to touch it.
Final death - Arrow - Bad Luck
This is honestly one of the more unlucky deaths for Jimmy across the whole entire life series! Ultimately, being unable to get down the ladder properly is what did him in, and I honestly believe that Jimmy might’ve been able to avoid dying first had he just not gotten unlucky with the timing of the shot/getting down the ladder. Oh, how different things could’ve possibly been,,,,
LAST LIFE:
Before I analyze the deaths for this series, I want to talk about why, to me, this is Jimmy’s best season ever in terms of results!! He was one of 5 people to start the season off with 2 lives, but unlike three of the others, he never gained another life (shoutout Ren, the other one who never gained another life!! I think this was his best season so far too!!!). Sure, he tried stealing one from Martyn, but he didn’t get to keep that one! Every other person (again, except for Ren!) that started yellow died more than 2 times over the course of the series, but not Jimmy!!! He also didn’t have his 1st death until the 6th session!! 13 other players had already died at least once before he did!! He also went to risky places where other people died (the Nether/a bastion where Mumbo died!!) and survived!! So while he had two rough deaths in back to back sessions and still went out first, this still remains his best season in my eyes, and it also is a great representation of the fact that he’s still a good Minecraft player!! He can survive really well when he minimizes Silly Decisions/doesn’t have to deal with bad luck, but minimizing Silly Decisions won’t be a frequent thing for him (more on that later) which is why I think that he could win but probably won’t.
First death - Explosion - Accident/Bad Luck
While digging the dirt that set off the trap could add a Silly Decision category to this, I won’t be adding it because really, who would expect a random piece of dirt blocking an entrance to be trapped? (Not me, that’s for sure - I probably would’ve done the same thing) Honestly though, I feel like if this was a different type of death, Jimmy might not have gone out first. The explosion absolutely obliterating all of his stuff makes life much more difficult, and definitely impacted his season ending when it did.
Final death - Fall/Grian - Silly Decision/Accident
The main reason that I categorize this one as a Silly Decision is because technically, Jimmy started it. Out of everyone on the server, Grian feels like the most likely to retaliate against a red, even if all they did was punch him, so it definitely wasn’t a good idea to instigate here. I also qualify it as an Accident because he says it (specifically falling off the edge of the building) was (*insert clip from Evil Anvil song here*).
DOUBLE LIFE:
Before I start this section, I have something devastating to admit; I’ve never actually watched Double Life (I know, I know!! I’ve been meaning to for so long but just haven’t gotten around to it,,,,) I did go in and watch his deaths, so I at least know how they went down, but everything I know about the rest of this season is from the fandom.
First death - Soulmate - UNCATEGORIZABLE
Now, I know you could technically qualify this as a Bad Luck death, but I really really don’t think it fits at all!! Essentially every person in Double Life died because their soulmate died at some point, so saying that Jimmy just happened to have the Bad Luck to be paired with Tango doesn’t feel right. This death was totally and completely out of his hands, so it becomes the only one to truly not fit into any category.
Second death - Falling/Hit By Arrow - Silly Decision/Bad Luck
Genuinely how did that arrow manage to hit Jimmy?? Bad Luck for him for sure, but ultimately standing as far over the edge as he was when people are firing up at you is a biiit of a Silly Decision. There’s also even more Bad Luck factored in when it comes to the timing of the whole thing - him and Tango just happened to be enchanting with Scar and Grian when the whole server decided to go after them! Jimmy wasn’t really even the main target here!
Final death - Enderman - Accident/Bad Luck
Ah yes, the Enderman death. I know I’ve said this multiple times already (and I’m sure I’ll say it many more), but this has gotta be one of Jimmy’s most unlucky deaths ever. With the combination of being low on food (so he can’t heal), the shield being about to break, and the tree he hides under not properly blocking the enderman, this was a recipe for disaster from the moment he accidentally looked into its eyes. Definitely a death that’s almost impossible to avoid.
LIMITED LIFE:
While I won’t be going through each and every death Jimmy had during this season (since Oh Boy there were a lot more than 3), I’ll focus on 3 that I want to point to that feel very very important to me!
Digging straight down with Joel - Silly Decision (Doing It For The Bit)
What’s this? A subcategory? Well yes, yes it is! This is a subcategory that we really only see in Limited Life, since people could die much more in that series due to the mechanic. So while this was still a Silly Decision, it was one made for fun and for The Bit! I’ll go into more depth as to why later, but this death is the ultimate example of why Jimmy probably won’t ever actually win a Life Series; he is in it 1000% for the fun!
Falling into trap because Grian pushed a button - Accident/Bad Luck
This is one of those deaths that is just so unlucky for Jimmy! Of course Grian didn’t mean to kill him, making it an Accident, but it really just feels like such Bad Luck overall! He honestly had a lot of these deaths the closer he got to the end of Limited Life; another one that comes to mind is the pufferfish death that happened while he was leaving the Nosy Neighbors’ base. These types of deaths are unfortunately completely unavoidable because they are almost completely unpredictable.
Final death - Falling - Accident/Bad Luck
This death is clearly an Accident, but it’s also an example of Bad Luck because of the placement of the minecart/the fact that he was shifting but seemingly un-shifted at the last second. Really though, this death feels like the world just making sure he died, since he should’ve been out with Etho’s boogie kill.
SECRET LIFE:
First death - Drowned/Trident - Bad Luck
I’ll be honest, I had to go back and watch this death- but it really was another case of Jimmy just having the worst luck with this game! His health was already SO low (and sure, I could technically qualify this one as a Silly Decision in terms of him deciding to go outside when it was dark out while being so low on hearts, but it doesn’t feel quite right for some reason), & to have a trident drowned just decide to spawn in that area is awful luck!
Second death - Ender Dragon - Bad Luck/Silly Decision
Ah, the Ender Dragon death. Yet another example of a high-risk potentially-high-reward situation that Jimmy went into despite a low chance of success,,, personally I think that if he avoided the End, his second death would’ve come much later & his chances of making it even longer would’ve increased drastically.
Final death - Warden - Silly Decision/Bad Luck
While this death definitely has Bad Luck as a secondary factor, Silly Decision is the main one here by a MILE. Deciding to help fight/stay in the area of a Warden and a Wither while being a red life with just over one row of hearts remaining?? One of the Silliest Decisions of all! Anyways, this death also has a Bad Luck component to it because of the Warden deciding to focus on him instead of Mumbo even though they were both really close to it & also with some of the long distance shots from the Warden actually hitting.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, I know that was a lot of rambling, but there’s a really big thing about these deaths that made me want to categorize them; very few of them have anything to do with pvp fighting! Most of them are environmental deaths (deaths to mobs/fall damage) or deaths indirectly caused by another player (traps that Jimmy himself had to trigger) instead of ones directly caused by a player!
Of course, every player in the life series has had environmental/indirectly caused deaths, but the winners/the people who place really high? They have more deaths directly caused by a player than anything else!
Take someone like Impulse, who consistently has a very high placement in the life series, but hasn’t won one (yet!!). A vast amount of his deaths are kills directly caused by other players! Same for most of the winners!! (Scar is the outlier here, although he only died due to direct kills by other players in the season he won, sooooo)
So, here’s what I’m getting at: if Jimmy can cut down on his environmental deaths, and avoid triggering traps/aggravating other players, I think he could survive much longer than he has so far! He would go from someone who dies without others needing to have much of an input, to someone that people would have to intentionally try to kill because he’s one of the final greens/yellows! We already know from Last Life that he can go a TON of episodes without dying, so if we combine that ability with more than two starting lives, then I think we have a recipe for a potential winner on our hands!!
However. Despite my belief that Jimmy is a much better player than anyone gives him credit for, I also don’t think that he will win a life series. And this is gonna get a little over-analyze-y, but I think that he won’t win because of who he is as a person and as a content creator.
He’s always willing to take risks for friends, do something for the bit (as seen by his lava death with Joel in Limited Life), and generally put himself in risky situations. He knows what makes a good video, but he also just genuinely is having fun with his friends! I think Jimmy could win a life series if he took it really really seriously, and put a ton of time and focus into staying alive and making it far, but I’m not sure that would be very fun for him. He seems like the kind of person who is just in it for a good time. And I’m not saying that he doesn’t want to win, or doesn’t take the series seriously at all - I think he definitely does, based on his reaction to his final death at the end of Double Life & Limited Life - but he’s not gonna go out of his way to win or do the ‘smart thing’ when he can just keep enjoying the series.
(Eugh, that felt a little too personality-analyzing/parasocial and weird for me, but I do think it’s true.)
ANYWAYS, that’s about it!
So TLDR: Lots of Jimmy’s deaths aren’t directly caused by players, and if he can avoid those types of deaths, he could survive long enough to have a real shot at winning! He also is much better at being able to survive a long time than we give him credit for, as we see in Last Life. However, while he still takes the life series seriously, he’s ultimately in it for the fun, making it less likely that he pulls off a win.
Thanks so much for reading, and feel free to ask questions/share your own thoughts!!

If you want to be added to the tag list let me know!
"WHAT THE FUCK"
You are jolted awake at the sound of a very pissed off older brother and something hitting the wall. Before you have anytime to think you feel Scott being ripped out of bed.
"WHAT THE FUCK TYLER LET HIM GO, AND HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET IN MY ROOM"
"THAT DOESNT MATTER WHY THE FUCK IS HE IN YOUR ROOM IN YOUR FUCKING BED"
" THATS NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS TYLER, NOW LET MY BOYFRIEND GO AND GET OUT OF MY ROOM NOW!"
Tyler is seeing red at this point and looking between you and Scott, he's shocked enough to let the grip he has on Scott loosen, and Scott stumbles trying to keep his balance.
"BOYFRIEND?! DID YOU JUST SAY BOYFRIEND Y/N?!" Tyler yells going to grab Scott again, but isn't fast enough, you are in between the 2 tall men in the matter of a second.
"YES BOYFRIEND" you yell at your brother
"I'LL KILL YOU" Tyler yells pushing you aside and goes to throw a punch when Boone grabs his arms and pulls him back, while Javi does the same with Scott. You look around wondering where the hell they came from, then you see your brother never closed the door.
"What the hell is going on in here" Javi says looking at the three of you.
"I FOUND THEM IN BED TOGETHER AND SHE JUST CALLED CLIPBOARD HERE HER BOYFRIEND"
"DON'T CALL HIM THAT, NOW TELL ME HOW AND WHY YOU ARE IN MY FUCKING ROOM TYLER JAMES OWENS"
"I WANTED TO SURPRISE YOU WITH COFFEE SO I USED THE EXTRA KEY"
"YOU HAVE A KEY TO MY ROOM TYLER ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW"
"YES THEY GAVE ME 2 YESTERDAY"
"SO YOU KEPT ONE WITHOUT TELLING ME ARE YOU INSANE TYLER"
"NO BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER RIGHT NOW Y/N" your brother yells to you before he turns his sights to Scott
"NOW WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING IN MY SISTERS ROOM IN HER FUCKING BED"
"WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING DUDE LIKE SHE SAID WE FELL ASLEEP WATCHING A MOVIE" Scott yells
"WITH YOUR FUCKING SHIRT OFF"
You look over to your new boyfriend where Javi is still holding him back from your brother and see he does indeed have his shirt off, holy fucking hell does he look good you think to yourself, but when did he take his shirt off, but before Scott can say another word you hear another voice.
Kate, Lily, Dani, and Dexter are now standing in the still open door to your room looking very confused to what they are seeing. Great more people to witness this It's Kate that speaks up first. "What is with all the yelling we can hear the 3 of all the way downstairs".
"I JUST FOUND MY SISTER IN BED WITH THIS ASSHOLE, AND HE HAS NO SHIRT ON THATS WHATS WITH ALL THE YELLING"
Your brother pulls out of Boone's grip and tackles Scott to the ground and Javi right along with him. You stand there in shock with a mix of angry and hurt tears streaming down your face while your big brother and boyfriend throwing punches at each other. Javi gets to his feet and does his best to grab Scott with the help of Dani as Boone does the same to your brother with the Dexter helping him. You have had it at this point
"KNOCK IT THE FUCK OFF BOTH OF YOU THATS ENOUGH!" you yell at the top of your lungs "I CAN'T BELIEVE THE TWO OF YOU ACTING LIKE THIS! SCOTT SIT SO I CAN CLEAN YOUR FACE, BOONE GET MY BROTHER OUT NOW" you say pulling your boyfriend from Javi's grip and pushing him on the bed.
"WHY DOES HE GET TO STAY" your brother yells still being held back
"BECAUSE TYLER HE DIDNT COME BARGING IN UNVITED, AND I CAN ONLY YELL AT ONE OF YOU AT A TIME AND I'M MORE LIKLY TO KILL YOU RIGHT NOW THEN HIM TYLER JAMES"
"I'M NOT LEAVING TIL WE TALK ABOUT THIS Y/N"
"YES YOU ARE TYLER I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU OR SEE RIGHT NOW, BOONE DEXTER GET HIM OUT NOW" you yell
"This isn't over Y/n" your brother says before he angrily shrugs out of the grip Boone and Dexter have on him and stomps toward the door. The others look between you and Scott before they too are heading to the door.
"Hey Javi could you please bring me some ice to put on this idiots face and Boone will you check on my idiot brother so he doesn't do anything stupid" you say to the men, and they both nod
"Do you need anything Y/n" Kate ask in a soft voice from the doorway
"Actually coffee would be amazing Kate thank you" you say looking at her then to the wall where you heard something being thrown at it just minutes ago, "and maybe a few extra towels since I not only have to clean a bloody face but coffee off the floor and wall and make my brother pay for the coffee since he started all this" you say meeting Kates eyes.
You make your way to the sink to wet a rag for Scott's face, and to see if you can find a first aid kit. As your walking back to the bed to clean up your boyfriends face you are beyond pissed, and Scott can tell so he just stays silence. He has a busted lip, a cut over his right eyes and a bruise forming on his cheek. "This is gonna sting but I gotta clean it" you say to Scott before wiping the alcohol pad over his lip while he winces. Before Scott can say anything there is a knock at the door and the sound of the door opening.
"Here's the ice your coffee extra towels and your extra key Kate made your brother give it up" Javi says walking over to hand you the bucket of ice and setting the coffee towels and key down on the bedside table.
"Thanks, hows idiot number 1" you ask still wrapping ice in a clean rag and handing it to Scott.
"He's bout the same as idiot number 2 here, Kates taking care of him"
"Tell her thank you"
"I will, I'll leave you to tend to him I'll check back later"
"Thank you Javi" "Thanks man" you and Scott say at the same time then Javi is out the door leaving you and Scott alone.
Scott breaks the silence "I'm so sorry baby". You say nothing as you walk to the bathroom to throw away all the bloody supplies you just used to clean his face, then back to the side of the bed where your coffee sits, picking it up to take your first sip.
"Baby please talk to me please" Scott begs
"What do you want me to say Scott hmmm, That its ok you and my big brother got into a knock down drag out at 7 in the morning in my room" Scott stays silence still holding the ice to his face
"Or do you want me to say I love knowing the fact that the whole state of Okla-fucking-homa just heard me and my brother yelling at each other, oh how bout this cleaning my boyfriend's bloody face first thing in the morning is how I wanted to start my day, and all this without coffee, so please Scott where do you want me to start"
"I can't say enough how sorry I am, I didn't want to fight my girlfriend's brother shirtless first thing in the morning with 5 other people watching and having to hear you cry and yell at your brother broke my heart, I will do anything to prove how sorry I am baby"
"It's not just you I'm mad at. My brother did barge in and you were only defending yourself I hate fighting with my brother" you say in a small voice trying to fight back tears. "He's one of my bestfriend and I know he means well but I think sometimes he still sees me as that 5 year old little girl he walked door to door with taking me trick or treating" Scott let out a laugh at the thought of that.
"I know you and my brother have a history and you hate each other but I can't do this every single day cleaning blood off one of your faces because you both wanna throw punches everytime you see each other or have a screaming match with my brother, I want him to be ok with the 2 of us. I really can see us going the distance and I want that so much but I really cant live with the two the men in my life fighting, and don't worry my idiot brother is gonna get the same talk with too" you say looking to Scott while wiping your eyes
"I don't think me and your brother will ever see eye to eye or be friends but I can be civil with brother if that's what you need me to do, I'll do anything to make this work with you and keep you as my girl" Scotts says brushing hair from your face
"You'd do that for me really" you ask
"of course I will babygirl" Scott replies pulling you into his arm
"Can I ask you one more thing baby" you say looking at Scott
"anything sweetheart"
"Not that I'm complaining because I most definitely am not but what happened to your shirt and why did I not get to help you out of it" you hear Scott laugh before he replies
"Well baby that is 2 questions" Scott laughs while you rolls your eyes
"But I got hot I'm not use to wearing a shirt while I sleep or having a gorgeous girl cuddled up next to me, as far as you not helping i thought you wanted to take it slow"
"I do but I'll never complain helping you get shirtless" you say with a wink and a kiss to his lips
************************************************************************
You and Scott stay in your room for a bit longer before you decide its time to go talk to your brother. You reluctantly pull yourself from Scotts arms to go get dressed. Once your dressed you and Scott walk out of your room, you turn to see your brother at his truck and you catch his gaze. Scott's room is on the first floor so the 2 of you walk down the stairs hand in hand you can feel your brothers eyes on you the whole time. Scott kisses you goodbye and tells you to text him when you're done or if you need anything.
You make your way over to your brother, the look he is giving you is making you feel like you did when you were 15 and took his old truck for a joy ride with your friends and crashed it. You make it to his truck and finally get a good look at his face, Javi was right he didn't look much better then Scott.
"You ready to talk about things like grown ups Ty"
"You tell me Y/n" Tyler replies
"I know you don't like Scott and there is a history there but you cant just bust into my room at 7am and be pulling people out of bed throwing coffee at my wall and punching people. I really like him, and he has treated me with nothing but respect and been so sweet since I met him. Can you please for me get on board?" you say to your brother
"No I can not get on board you wanna know why, I walk into my baby sisters room and see the ONE person I told her not to mess around with in her bed shirtless and you what expect me to turn and tip toe out off the room maybe put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door on my way out"
"No Tyler but I do expect you to act like a person and not a caveman, and like I told you we fell asleep watching a movie"
"WITH NO SHIRT Y/N, DON'T EVEN GIVE ME THAT LINE"
"EXCUSE ME WHAT LINE TYLER"
By this time you are both screaming and now have your brothers whole crew along with Javi and Kate stand there watching everything unfold. You look to your left and see Scott walking over as well.
"YOU WERE JUST WATCHING A MOVIE AND HIS SHIRT HAPPEN TO COME OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF IT"
"I'M NOT USING A LINE TYLER THATS WHAT HAPPENED WE FELL ASLEEP AND HE GOT HOT AND TOOK IT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, AND EVEN IF SOMETHING DID HAPPEN ITS MY ROOM AND I'M 25 YEARS OLD AND CAN DO AS I PLEASE IN MY OWN ROOM"
"I DONT CARE THAT YOU ARE 25 I'M NOT GONNA STAND BACK AND WATCH MY BABY SISTER GET HER HEART BROKEN BY FRATBOY CLARK KENT AND I PAID FOR THE ROOM I PAID FOR YOUR PLANE TICKET DOWN HERE AND YOU ARE MY LITTLE SISTER AND YOU ARE DONE SEEING HIM"
As soon as the words left his lips he saw the tears forming in your eyes and he knew he just crossed a line, he looked around at his crew and their faces told him the same thing. Before Tyler could speak you beat him to it.
"Wow Tyler I didn't know you were keeping a tab stupid me I thought this was my graduation gift from my big brother guess I was wrong" you say with tears now running down your face then you dig in your purse for your wallet. You pull out all the cash you had on you and shove it at your brother. "Heres all the cash I have its about $380 this should cover at least the plane ticket I'll get the rest for the room and anything else you paid for by the end of the day, I'll have my stuff out of the room you paid for and see if they have an open room if not I'll figure out something I'd sleep on the street at this point, thanks for the gift big brother" you turn to Boone and hand him one of the keys
"Here Boone have your own room for once give me 10 minutes to get my stuff and I'll leave the extra key on the bedside table" You turn around and start to walk away with tears running down your face, you hear your brother calling after you but you don't want to deal with him. Tyler has never in 25 years to cause your tears only dried them, he was the person you went to not the one you ran from.
"Jelly bean" Tyler yells again
"Give her space T" you hear Bonne say to your brother
Scott meets you at the stairs and walks up with you to get your things from the room you stayed in last night. While your packing your things you don't say anything the tears have stopped and at this point you feel numb to a degree, you don't fight with your brother he's your favorite person in the world so this is an all new feeling.
After you gather all your things you walk down to the front desk with Scott to see if they have an empty room.
"Can I help you ma'am" the older woman behind the desk ask
"Yes I was hoping you have an empty room I can rent for a few days" you say to the woman
"I'm so sorry ma'am with all the storm chasers and the extra people that came in from Soonersville from the storm yesterday we are all booked up but there is another hotel down the across town its about 15 miles up hwy 25"
You hold back tears and force a smile before thanking her and walking out of the office. Once outside the dam breaks and you can no longer hold back the tears you then feel Scotts strong arms wrap around you pulling you into his chest. All you think about is what you're gonna do for a place to sleep tonight. Your first instinct is to go to your brother but for the first time in your life you cant and you are feeling helpless.
"I don't know what I'm gonna do Scott, I have no place to stay I don't even have a car to get me to another hotel or to sleep in" you sob into his chest
"Baby please don't cry you have a place to sleep, you can stay in my room"
"Don't you share one with Javi tho?" you ask
"Javi wont mind you staying I promise. I'm not letting my girlfriend sleep on the street or in a hotel across alone where I cant protect her, come baby lets get get you to the room to relax and I'll go get you something to eat." Scott says kissing your forehead.
You get to Scotts room he opens the door for you to enter first. Javi sitting on his bed with his laptop, the opening of the door gets his attention and you see him look up from what ever he was doing. He sees you and Scott with your things so he gets up to help.
"They didn't have anymore rooms available and I didn't want her staying across town alone, so I told her she could crash with us at least until a room opens up, that's cool right?" Scotts looks over to Javi
"Yeah man that's not a problem, I wouldn't want her staying across town alone either"
"Thank you Javi, as soon as I room opens up I promise I'll be out of your hair" You say looking to Javi
"You can crash in here as long as you need to Dr.Owens" Javi says with a smile
Scott and Javi help you get settled after the events of the morning and the fight with your brother
"Baby I'm gonna go grab something to eat for you is there anything else you need?" Scott says coming to sit next to you.
"I'm ok I'm not really hungry but thank you , could you take my card and pull some cash from the ATM another $200 should pay Ty back the pin is 9291 hell pull out all that it will let you so I know I don't owe him anything and Javi could you take it to him please I really don't wanna see him, If he needs more just find out how much and pull it out" you say in a low voice handing Scott your card
"yeah y/n I'll give it to him" Javi said
"Sweetheart you have to eat something, so how bout we compromise I'll you get an order of those spicy tuna rolls we had last night and you can put them in the refrigerator for when you get hungry later hows that " Scott says running his hand through your hair
"ok" You smile up at your boyfriend with tears in your eyes
"Also keep your money I'll draw some out from my personal account for Javi to give him" Scott says handing back your card
"Scott no I cant let you do that, that's to much money you are already letting me stay in yalls room, I cant be a freeloader to yall too I have the money I promise"
"You are not a freeloader I want to do this for you, you've been through enough today, if it makes you feel better I'll let you buy me a coffee in the morning" Scott says with a wink
Before you can say another word Scott gives you a kiss before him and Javi leave, when you hear the door close behind you let the tears fall once again. What you thought was gonna be a great time with your brother has turned into a nightmare with your brother. You grab the remote and flip thru the channels until you land on some movie, you lay there watching it until you feel the morning catching up to you and you fall asleep
***********************************************************************
It's been about a month since your fight with your brother and he has been nonstop blowing up your phone but you were still so hurt that you just weren't ready to talk to him or see him. This was the longest time you have ever gone not talking to your brother and it was killing you, you missed your big brother but the words he yelled at you kept replying in your head. You also haven't done but 2 chases with Scott you have been mainly staying behind the scenes reading the data reports and radars for both teams again just another way to avoid your brother.
You moved hotels a few times and was back in a room to yourself, with some over night sleepovers with Scott. Things between you and Scott were going amazing and despite the fight with your brother you couldn't be happier. The two of you were still taking things slow nothing beyond some heated makeouts and getting a little handsy.
You were sitting in your room waiting for Scott to get done with their chase and texting Casey and Ashleigh in a group text
🩷Casey💛: Have you slept with him yet y/n😉
💛Ashleigh🩷: Oh I want details😉😉
Y/N: Yall no we have not had sex yet but plenty of making out and touching🫣
💛Ashleigh🩷: Is he a good kisser?
🩷Casey💛: And what do you mean touching?
💛Ashleigh🩷: Ohhhh I wanna know that too🤗
🩷Casey💛: Under the clothes or on top of the clothes🤔
💛Ashleigh🩷: Please tell us y/n we're your sisters and from the pictures you have sent he's so hot!🔥
Y/N: GIRLS lol ok ok I'll throw yall a bone, Yes is a very good kisser the best kisser EVER we spend hours making out😍, and as far as the touching its been a mix of both but we stop before it goes to far. But i love waking up in his arms he makes me feel safe like nothing bad can happen as long as hes beside me🥰
🩷Casey💛: AWWWWW my zeta bata little sis is in love ❤️ have you told him yet
💛Ashleigh🩷: I love LOVE❤️😁
Y/N: no I haven't said the words yet I don't know if he feels the same and I don't wanna scare him off I have never felt this way before I really see it all with him
🩷Casey💛: if you want my advice tell him the way you feel talk about him and the looks I see him giving you in all those pictures he totally feels the same, take a chance
💛Ashleigh🩷: I totally agree with Casey, you need to tell him you cant keep it in forever. Now have you and your hot brother made up yet?
Y/N: No thats a whole other story...
After another hour of texting your ZBZ sisters about the whole ordeal with your brother and what they are up too the door opens and Scott walks in looking tired but oh so sexy
"Hey babygirl " he greets you with a kiss on the forehead before putting his things down
"Hey baby" you smile standing up to wrap your arms around him pulling him down to your level in a heated kiss before pulling away and lightly pushing him down on the bed and straddle his lap.
"I like coming home to this baby"
"Oh well you are gonna love this" you say before running your hands through his hair and pulling him into another kiss this one with more passion and heat. He swipe his tongue over your bottom lip and you open granting him permission. He runs his hands up and down your back and under your shirt. You tug at his hair and a little moan slips out and you take advantage of and take his bottom lip between your teeth. Scott starts to kiss down your neck and nip at your pulses points and a moan leaves your mouth. All of a sudden Scott pulls away and looks at you.
"I love you y/n, I know it's only been a month and its ok if you don't feel the same but I couldn't go another second without telling you"
You stare at him in shock with tears forming before you speak up
"I love you too Scott"
Scott smiles back at you before flipping you on your back and hovers over you before pressing his lips to yours, in a kiss so heated and so full of passion your mind goes blank and the breath is stolen from your lungs. Just as things are really getting heated there is a knock at your door. You and Scott pull away and sigh as he rest his head on yours.
"I'll get it" you tell Scott as he rolls off of you and on to the bed.
You open the door and are face to face with your brother for the first time since your fight a month ago
"Tyler" you say arms folded over your chest
"I'm so sorry Jelly bean"

Booty call pairing: basketball player!Lucas Scott x cheerleader!reader warnings: really none that I think off
notes: this is my very first writing and I am very new to writing so I am sorry!! I don't think there's any grammar mistakes or anything
word count: some amount of words
On this special night in tree hill, Lucas had just joined the basketball team and was playing his first game. He got in his head and felt as though he did terribly. He beat himself up about it and sat in the boy's locker room almost two full hours after the game. That is, until you walked in to check on the sad boy.
“Hey, Lucas.” You say, slowly walking from the door closer to where he is sitting on a bench, still in his basketball uniform and shoes with his head in his hands. He startles at the sound of your voice, looking up to see your beautiful self.
“Hi,” he musters out, putting his face back in his hands. “Who are you?”
“Y/n, you probably don't really know me, I'm a cheerleader. I saw you playing tonight and I thought you'd need some company after the game.” You sit next to him and place a hand on his back.
“Nice to meet you, y/n,” he says, lifting his head up to look at you. “But I'd prefer to be alone.”
“Right. But I just wanted to tell you, I know you think you were awful tonight just because you didn't make a single basket,” that sentence alone elicits a groan from the boy. “But I know that you can make baskets, you just haven't gotten the groove of the new team, new court, and new attire.” You touch his jersey. He looks up at you with his deep, blue eyes and nods his head.
“Thanks, y/n.”
“You're welcome, Lucas. I'll see you around okay?”
“Okay.”
The following week, the ravens won against the pirates at a home game. This time, Lucas scored 21 points.
You meet Lucas in the locker room like you did last week to congratulate him.
“Hey, Scott!” you say, running up to him.
“Hey, y/n! I did good this time!” He said, smiling at you.
“I know, I believed you could do it!” You said hugging him. He smelled of sweat-off cologne, but you didn't mind it.
“Thanks.” He says as he pulls away from the hug and looks deeply into your eyes. You have to admit, you sort of have a bit of a crush on Lucas, but there's no way he'd feel the same, right? Wrong. Because this handsome boy in front of you right now is leaning in to kiss you and you won't let him will you? Wrong, again!
His lips are soft and tenderly kiss yours. He pulled away after a couple seconds and stared at you, waiting for an answer as to if that was okay or not. But instead of giving a good response the poor boy wanted, you pulled a Rory Gilmore from Gilmore girls and said…
“Thanks.”
And you were off like the Flash, running straight to your house, not even waiting for Lucas to come give you a ride. You were too embarrassed to even face your family, running straight to your room and closing the door. That night, you were expecting texts from Lucas saying “What was that?” or “Hey, you okay?” But no, there was nothing. You felt awful.
The next day at school, you looked for Lucas everywhere but couldn't find him. Like he was using secret passage ways to get to classes. After school was over you waited by Lucas's car for your annual ride home together, but he didn't come. Like he knew you were there and he was avoiding you. Oh God, was he avoiding you?
You went inside looking for him on the basketball court and there he was. He was just shooting some practice free throws. You debated on how to approach him, but one way popped into your mind.
“You know, you're a really great kisser.” You said walking towards him.
“I am?” He responds, turning towards you and setting his ball down on the ball rack.
“Yes, quite a bit. And I'm sorry about how I reacted the other day.”
“Hey, hey, don't be. I get it, you were nervous. Was it your first kiss?” Lucas questions stepping closer to you. You nod, getting butterflies at his movements towards you. “I see, maybe we could have a bit of a do over for your ‘first kiss’. And maybe this time, I'll say thanks.” He chuckles a bit as you playfully hit his arm. You guys lean in and kiss for a second time, this time being a little bit more passionate.
Okay, you guys have been kissing for quite some time now. One minute, two minutes, three minutes!! Three minutes go by, and you're still kissing! Luckily, you slightly pull away to get some air. But Lucas doesn't stop there.
“Lucas?” You breathily question as he kisses and sucks on your neck. He mumbles a little something against your skin before pulling away and looking into your eyes.
“You're beautiful, y/n. And I really, really like you after hanging out with you for the past couple of weeks. Would you be my girlfriend..?”
“Yes, Lucas.” He picked you up and spun you around like in those cheesy romance movies. After he set you down he kissed you one final time before he took you home.
I'm so sorry guys, this was so bad!!!! It was my first one I'm sorry!!

Comfort
Adam Faulkner-Stanheight x gn!reader
Fic type: fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, caregiver reader
Warnings: brief mentions of gun violence, ptsd
Summary: Adam has been suffering from panic attacks since news of another jigsaw attack hits the news, and needs comforting.
A/n: hello! I've been looking forward to writing more about Adam's soft side, so i hope you enjoy! Remember requests are open, and I'd love to hear feedback! Knowing that people enjoy the things I write really helps motivate me to write more <3
Tumblr media
Adam had been having a real rough time as of late. Usually, he was quite good at not letting his past trauma get to him, and when the news broke that the jigsaw killer, John kramer, and his right hand man, Amanda Young, were found dead, he really felt as though his nightmare was over. But news had recently broke that another one of John's sick "games" had taken place. Five people kidnapped and put through torment, only two of whom had lived. Maybe it was another "apprentice" as the police had called them. Or perhaps a copycat? It wasn't so far fetched, jigsaw had accumulated a somewhat cult-like fan base. Most of them were just people with morbid curiosity, they followed the case a little too obsessively but swore they disapproved of John's actions, although a few nutcases had popped up all over the city, thinking of John as some kind of pied piper, cleaning the city of the people they deemed unworthy. One of whom was Adam's ex best friend, Scott Tibbs. In the time that Adam was missing, Scott had completely lost it. He never was the most stable person but this was crazy, he was jealous of the horrific ordeal that Adam went through, he saw it as some kind of rebirth, he thought John was a genius. It made Adam feel sick to know that there were others out there who shared the same views as the evil fuck who ruined his life.
On a good day, Adam could mask his fear with anger, but today was not one of those days.
"Adam, do you want a cup of tea before bed?" You called from the kitchen into the bathroom where Adam was just stepping out of the shower.
"Yeah, that'd be great babe" he called back.
So far, it was a normal night (or about as normal as a night can be when talks of your boyfriend's attempted killer making a return are all over the news). Normalcy was something both of you had strived to keep, it was important not to let Adam slip back into his reclusive ways. He was doing good, but you knew any small thing could set him back, so you kept a close and caring eye on him.
"Here," you smiled, entering the bedroom and handing a mug to a rather tired looking Adam. He looked adorable in his loose tshirt and boxers, his thick black hair still damp and ruffled from a futile attempt at towel drying it.
Adam kissed your cheek and held your waist- a little tighter than he usually did. He was scared. He did a good job of hiding it, but the signs were there, that fear was bubbling up just below the surface.
"You wanna watch a movie tonight? I like the idea of getting all cosy with a movie in bed" you suggested, climbing under the duvet and patting the spot beside you. You wanted to distract Adam from his own thoughts as much as you could, and a movie was a good place to start.
"Sounds good" he smiled softly, knowing your intentions. He gently placed his tea down on the bedside table, and clambered into bed, snuggling up to you.
After flipping through the channels for a little while, the two of you found a channel that played exclusively dogshit, straight to TV romcoms.
Finding, watching and poking fun at the worst movies possible was a particular favourite past time for the two of you, so when your disparaging comment on how cheesy the protagonist was, was only met with a half hearted chuckle, you knew Adam's mind was elsewhere.
That fear was growing, you could practically feel it radiating out of Adam's chest, a palpable sense of anxiety emitted from the poor man, all while he tried his best to seem calm.
That was when a from somewhere outside, a car backfired. That was it for Adam, before you could even process where the two loud bangs had come from, he had burst into floods of tears. He was blubbering, holding his hands over his ears and hunched forward, as though trying to make himself as small as possible. His cries were the most heartwrenching sound you'd ever heard, they weren't that of a grown man, no, in this moment Adam was no more than a frightened little boy. He was so small and helpless, so afraid and so tiny. He hugged his legs to his chest tightly as his eyes rapidly scanned the room before fixating on the bedroom door.
Of course, ever since the bathroom Adam had associated loud bangs with gunshots, with a madman running into the room with the intent to kill. In his head he was back there.
"Sweetheart, deep breaths" you whispered, ever so gently placing a hand on his back and rubbing in slow circular motions.
Adam gasped for air between sobs, gripping onto the duvet so tightly that his knuckles turned white.
"Shhhhh, that's it honey, just catch your breath"
You spoke softly, not wanting anything else to alarm him.
Adam's breathing had slowed, but the tears still poured down his face and the wails still rung out from his mouth. You pulled him into an embrace and he collapsed into you. You took this opportunity to carefully guide him into a laying down position, so that he was cuddled up to your chest while you wrapped your arms around him. Your poor, sweet baby, you'd do anything to protect him.
"I know honeybun, it's scary isn't it? But you're so brave, who's my brave boy, hm?" You cooed, stroking his hair and letting some much needed praise rain down on him.
"I am.." Adam sniffled, taking in deep gulps of air and feeling immensely safer now that he was starting to remember where he really was.
"That's right, baby! You're the bravest boy in the world" you smiled, hoping your warm and nurturing tone would bring him some sort of comfort.
"Do you want your kitty?" You asked.
'Kitty' was Adam's childhood stuffed animal, he didn't like to sleep with it every night, but you kept it in a box right under the bed in case he ever needed it.
In that box was an array of things that helped Adam with his ptsd, panic attacks and insomnia. Noise cancelling headphones, eye masks, stress balls, snacks, even activity books. But none of them ever held a candle to kitty, a raggedy black toy cat with a big bald patch on it's head from years of nuzzling from Adam.
You felt around under the bed for a few seconds until you found the box and pulled it out, taking off the lid and handing Adam his kitty. Adam took it and held it to his face, burying his nose in it's head and closing his eyes.
"Do you want anything else, sweetpea?" You asked, offering the box to him.
Adam didn't speak, he never did when he got like this, instead he pointed at a packet of animal crackers.
You couldn't help but let out a small chuckle, he looked adorable, and the fact that he was hungry was a good sign.
"Alright my love, crackers it is" you said, opening up the packet for him and handing them over.
Adam took one out and began to nibble on it slowly, he liked to chew things when he was anxious. Sometimes it was his shirt sleeves or fingernails that got the brunt of it, so you were trying to help him find alternatives.
You turned to look at Adam, he had stopped crying but his eyes were still wet, and his face tear stained. He sniffled quietly, his eyes vacant and his hands trembling as they clutched onto his teddy. You could tell exactly how he was feeling, still frightened but mostly embarrassed. He hated feeling so pathetic, being reduced to a snivelling wreck, trembling like a lost puppy. Reassurance was imperative to make sure Adam felt comfortable enough to be vulnerable, you didn't want him to start bottling things up again out of shame. You wiped his eyes dry with your thumb, and cradled his chin so that he was looking at you.
"It's alright, baby. You're safe," you whispered.
Adam snuggled up to you, burying his face in your chest and breathing you in, slowly and calmly until he had stopped shaking. He was starting to feel a lot better.
"Y/n?" He said, so softly that you almost didn't hear him.
"What is it, my sweet?"
"Can we put alien on?"
Alien was Adam's favourite film of all time, not your conventional comfort film, but Adam associated it with fond memories of being a young boy. One of his friends had stolen it from their older brother, and Adam and all his boyhood chums had watched it together at a sleepover. To this day, whenever Adam watched that film he could practically smell microwaveable popcorn, taste cans of flat cola, hear raucous laughter and feel the safety of being surrounded by people that loved him. He didn't have the best upbringing, and his family weren't so kind to him, so this particular night with all his buddies in a house far from his own was one of the few comforting memories from his youth.
You'd put the dvd in the player and turned on a few lamps, just so the extra light kept Adam aware of his surroundings, and climbed back under the covers where Adam, having finished his crackers and tea, shuffled over to you and rested his head on your chest.
He clung onto his kitty, and stared at the TV, his eyelids very slowly becoming droopy.
"Y/n?" He mumbled, almost out cold
"Yes, hun?"
"Kitty says thank you for looking after us"
You could hear the smile in his voice
"Well, tell kitty I'm always happy to look after both of you" You chuckled, kissing the top of Adam's head and giving him a squeeze.
He hummed sleepily and began to drift off, dreaming of cats, aliens, and best of all, you.

CHAPTER THREE
Tumblr media
A/N: I'm so sorry that I haven't posted in a week, I had the flu and I didn't feel well enough to write. But i'm all better now! Anyways, enjoy!
Previous chapters: CHAPTERS
Word count: 4313
After spending the afternoon immersed in my thoughts and ideas, I finally had a rough outline of how I wanted to approach the lessons. I decided to start with something simple—introducing the students to the world of literature. It was the only way I gained knowledge of the world since I'd barely stepped outside the orphanage, let alone out of town.
I sat back in the chair, feeling a sense of accomplishment, though a little nervous about how it would all come together. The room was quiet, the late afternoon light casting long shadows across the floor. I hadn't realized how much time had passed until I heard a soft knock on my door.
I blinked, glancing at the clock—dinner time already?
"Come in," I called, and the door creaked open to reveal Hank, standing there with his usual kind, slightly awkward smile.
"Hey, Flora," he greeted. "Just wanted to let you know it's time for dinner."
I smiled, feeling a bit guilty for losing track of time. "Thanks, Hank. I didn't realize how late it was. I guess I got a little carried away with planning."
Hank stepped inside, his hands in his pockets. "It happens to the best of us. We tend to eat around the same time every evening, but, uh, I figured I'd come grab you, just in case."
I stood up, stretching a bit after sitting for so long. "What time do you guys typically eat? I feel bad that someone has to come look for me."
Hank chuckled softly, shaking his head. "No worries. We usually eat around six, but we don't mind checking in on each other. You'll get used to the routine soon enough."
I nodded, appreciating his thoughtfulness. "Thanks, Hank. I'll try to be more mindful next time."
He smiled warmly, his demeanor gentle and understanding. "Don't worry about it. We're all still getting used to things around here in one way or another."
As we walked together toward the dining area, I found myself wondering how dinner would go tonight. Last night had been... tense, mostly because of Erik's presence, and I couldn't shake the feeling that his dislike of me was somehow affecting the atmosphere for everyone else too. I hoped tonight would be different, but a part of me doubted it.
When we entered the dining room, the familiar scene unfolded: the long table set with dishes, the soft hum of conversation as everyone settled in. Storm, Scott, Jean, Raven, and Charles were already seated, and I noticed Erik once again at the far end of the table, his expression as unreadable as ever.
I took my seat next to Raven, offering a polite smile to the others as they welcomed me with nods and small greetings. The food smelled good, but my stomach twisted with unease.
"So, how did the planning go?" Storm asked, her tone casual but friendly.
"It went well," I replied, trying to focus on the positive. "I think I have a good starting point for the lessons. Tomorrow's going to be interesting, though."
"You'll do great," Jean chimed in with a reassuring smile. "The kids are going to love learning from you."
I smiled back, grateful for her support. "Thanks, I hope so."
As dinner continued, I glanced down the table and noticed something odd—Erik wasn't completely silent tonight. He was speaking with the others. Not much, but enough to make it clear he wasn't completely withdrawn. He commented on something Scott said, and even exchanged a few words with Storm about the training schedule for the week.
It took me a moment to realize that while he was talking to the others, he hadn't said a single word to me. Not a greeting, not a glance—nothing.
I tried to shake it off, telling myself it didn't matter. He didn't owe me anything. I was the newcomer, and Erik had made it clear that he wasn't interested in getting to know me. Still, as I listened to the quiet conversations around me, the fact that he was ignoring me entirely started to gnaw at me. It wasn't like he was cold to everyone—just me.
I shifted in my seat, my fork pausing over my plate as I tried to focus on the conversation with Raven and Jean.
"Everything's ready for your first class tomorrow, right?" Raven asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah, I've got it all planned out," I replied, forcing a smile. "I'm hoping the students will connect with it."
"They will," Raven said confidently. "You've got this."
I nodded, trying to hold on to that positivity, but my attention kept wandering back to Erik. Every time I glanced his way, he was speaking with someone else, completely avoiding even acknowledging my presence. I wondered if anyone else had noticed—or if I was just being overly sensitive.
"Don't let it bother you," Raven whispered suddenly, leaning in as if she could sense my discomfort. "He's always like this."
I gave her a quick nod, trying to brush it off. "I know. I'm fine."
But the truth was, it did bother me. Everyone kept telling me that Erik would eventually warm up, that it was just his way of dealing with new people. But how much time was I supposed to give him? And what if they were wrong? What if he didn't warm up to me at all?
I tried to shake off the frustration as dinner wore on, focusing on the others' conversations and ignoring the tightening knot in my stomach. I had a lot on my plate already, with the first lesson tomorrow, and I didn't need to waste time worrying about Erik's attitude.
But as the meal continued, and Erik's voice mingled with the others', his silence toward me felt more and more deliberate. I forced myself to smile and laugh along with everyone else, pretending that it didn't bother me at all.
By the time dinner was over, I felt drained, not just from the conversation but from the effort of pretending that Erik's coldness wasn't affecting me. Everyone else seemed oblivious, and I didn't want to make a big deal out of it.
But as we cleared the table and said our goodnights, I couldn't help but wonder if I was the only one noticing how hard Erik was working to keep me at arm's length.
Tumblr media
It was well past midnight, and no matter how hard I tried, sleep just wouldn't come. I tossed and turned, my mind running in circles—half of it filled with nerves about tomorrow's lesson, the other half consumed by thoughts of Erik.
He was a jerk, plain and simple, but I couldn't stop wondering why. Everyone had told me he would eventually warm up, but so far, he seemed determined to keep me at a distance. His behavior at dinner—the way he deliberately ignored me while talking to everyone else—stuck with me like a thorn I couldn't pull out. What was his problem? Why did he go out of his way to avoid me?
With a sigh, I gave up on sleep. I was too restless, too wound up to lie in bed any longer. Maybe some water would help calm me down.
I swung my legs out of bed and stood up, glancing down at my outfit: a small tank top and even smaller shorts. Definitely not nun-approved, but I wore them anyway, glad for the comfort and cool air on my skin. It didn't matter—it was late, and I wouldn't run into anyone.
But as I stepped out of my room and into the hallway, I quickly remembered one crucial detail: Erik was my neighbor. Of all people, it had to be him.
For a brief moment, I stood frozen, listening for any signs of movement from his room. The last thing I needed was to run into him in the middle of the night, especially dressed like this. The hallway was quiet, save for the soft hum of the air conditioning, and I hoped he was fast asleep, completely unaware of my presence.
Just in case, I turned invisible. With a deep breath, I started making my way toward the kitchen, walking as quietly as possible down the hallway. Each step felt louder than it should have, and I couldn't help but feel a twinge of paranoia, like I was being too loud—too noticeable, even though I was invisible. The door to Erik's room loomed as I passed by it, and I quickened my pace, desperate not to linger near it for too long.
"Of all the people in the world," I muttered under my breath, "he had to be the one next door."
When I finally reached the kitchen, the soft glow of moonlight spilled through the windows, casting long shadows across the floor. The stillness of the night had a calming effect, and for a moment, I let out a sigh of relief, thankful for the quiet.
I made my way to the sink, filling a glass of water, and leaned against the counter, trying to gather my thoughts. Tomorrow was a big day—my first lesson with the students. I needed to focus on that, on giving them the guidance they needed. But Erik's face kept creeping into my mind, his cold, indifferent expression at dinner, the way he acted like I didn't even exist.
I took a sip of water, letting the cool liquid soothe my throat, but it didn't do much to settle the knot of frustration tightening in my chest. Why couldn't I stop thinking about him? He clearly didn't care about me or what I was doing here, so why was I letting him get under my skin like this?
I set the glass down with a little more force than I intended, the clink of it hitting the counter louder than expected in the quiet kitchen.
"Just let it go," I whispered to myself, running a hand through my hair. "He's not worth it."
But even as I said the words, I couldn't help but wonder if I'd ever get an answer to the question that had been gnawing at me since I first met him—what was his problem with me?
I took another sip of water, trying to push Erik from my mind. But the quiet creak of the door behind me shattered the moment of peace. I turned, and there he was—Erik, of all people, standing in the doorway, looking every bit as unbothered as always.
His eyes briefly flicked over my outfit—small tank top, shorts that would make any nun faint—but he didn't linger. His expression was unreadable, as always, but I could tell he noticed.
"You're up late," he said, his voice low and calm.
I swallowed, trying to keep my own voice steady. "Could say the same to you."
He stepped further into the kitchen, heading for the fridge. "I'm always up late."
Of course he was. I glanced away, pretending to focus on the water in my glass. The silence stretched between us, and I couldn't help but wonder if he'd keep ignoring me like he had at dinner. Just when I was about to slip out of the kitchen unnoticed, he spoke again.
"That's an interesting choice of sleepwear."
I stiffened, glancing down at my tank top and shorts. So, he had noticed after all. "It's comfortable," I replied, my tone sharp. "Not that it's any of your business."
Erik unscrewed the cap from a bottle of water, his eyes narrowing slightly as he leaned against the counter. "Just making an observation."
I huffed, trying not to let his comment get under my skin. "Is that what you do? Make observations and throw judgment around?"
He didn't answer right away, just took a long drink of water before looking at me again, a small, infuriating smirk playing on his lips. "Only when it's worth mentioning."
I could feel my patience slipping. "You know, if you don't have anything nice to say, maybe just... don't say anything?"
Erik raised an eyebrow, the smirk never leaving his face. "That's rich, coming from you."
I blinked, caught off guard by his remark. "What's that supposed to mean?"
He shrugged casually, like this whole conversation was a game he was winning. "Just that you've been tiptoeing around, acting like you belong here, when clearly, you don't know what you're in for."
My temper flared. "I belong here as much as anyone else does. I'm doing my best, and if you've got a problem with that, maybe keep it to yourself."
Erik set his water down on the counter with a deliberate slowness, his eyes locked on mine. "Keep telling yourself that, Flora."
His voice was smooth, cutting in the way that made it hard to tell if he was mocking me or just stating the facts. Either way, it grated on my nerves.
I crossed my arms, refusing to back down. "You don't even know me."
"And I don't need to," he shot back, his tone as cold as ever.
We stood there in tense silence, the space between us feeling charged with unspoken words, snarky comebacks, and a mutual dislike neither of us was willing to back down from. I hated how much he got under my skin, how much his stupid, smug attitude made me want to argue with him even more.
"Whatever," I muttered, grabbing my glass and turning toward the door. I was done with this conversation.
But as I reached the doorway, Erik's voice followed me, sharp and mocking. "You'll need thicker skin if you're going to last here, Flora."
I froze for a second, his words hitting harder than I wanted them to. Without looking back, I muttered, "Maybe you should try using less of it."
And with that, I walked out of the kitchen, leaving Erik behind, still infuriatingly unbothered, while I felt my pulse race with the tension from our exchange.
As I made my way back to my room, I couldn't help but wonder why he had to be like this. Why he had to push every button I had, and why I kept letting him get to me.
Tumblr media
The next morning, the soft light of dawn filtered through my curtains, and I woke up earlier than usual. I felt a mix of nerves and excitement—today was the day I'd officially meet the students and start teaching. There was a lot to prepare, and I wanted to make sure everything was perfect.
After taking a moment to gather my thoughts, I got out of bed and glanced at the clock. It was early enough that most people were probably still asleep, which gave me plenty of time to set up the classroom without interruption. I felt a little relieved at that thought—I could use the quiet to calm my nerves.
I headed into my bathroom, grateful that I didn't have to share it with anyone else. The warm water of the shower helped relax the tension I hadn't realized had built up in my shoulders. As I stood under the spray, I reminded myself that this was what I'd come here to do—help the younger students and create a space where they felt safe to learn and grow.
After my shower, I dressed quickly in a pair of jeans and a crisp white dress shirt, feeling a little more professional, yet still comfortable. I wanted to make a good impression, but I also wanted to be myself.
Once I was ready, I grabbed a few supplies and headed out of my room, eager to get to work. The hallways were still quiet, the early morning light casting soft shadows through the windows. As I made my way toward the classroom, I found myself thinking back to last night—specifically, my encounter with Erik. The way he mocked me, the way he always seemed so detached and indifferent. I shook my head, trying to push the thought of him aside. Today was about the students, not him.
When I reached the classroom, I unlocked the door and stepped inside. The room was just as I'd left it yesterday—bright, airy, and full of potential. But it needed a little sprucing up. Dust clung to the shelves, and the desks were slightly out of order. I spent the next hour cleaning, dusting the surfaces, and using my telekinesis to arrange the desks into a neat semi-circle so the students could easily interact with one another.
By the time I finished setting up, the classroom looked inviting and organized. The dust was gone, the desks were perfectly arranged, and I'd even placed a few potted plants around the room to add a touch of nature. I stepped back, admiring my work with a sense of satisfaction. This was it—my space, my classroom.
I checked the clock and realized it was almost time for the students to arrive. My heart fluttered with a mix of anticipation and nerves, but I reminded myself that this was just the beginning. I could handle it.
I was just about to take a deep breath and gather my thoughts when there was a soft knock at the door. I glanced at the clock—it was a little early for the students to start arriving, but maybe someone was eager to get to class.
Curious, I walked over and opened the door to find a small child standing there. She couldn't have been more than six or seven, her wide eyes peeking up at me through a curtain of curly brown hair. She held a stuffed animal—a well-loved rabbit with floppy ears—tightly in her arms. The girl looked a little nervous, shifting from foot to foot as she glanced up at me.
"Hi there," I said gently, crouching down to her level with a warm smile. "You're here a bit early, aren't you?"
She nodded shyly, hugging her stuffed rabbit closer. "I like to come early sometimes," she whispered.
I smiled, touched by her sweetness. "Well, you're welcome to come in and get settled," I said, stepping aside to let her in. "I'm Flora, by the way."
The little girl walked in slowly, her eyes wide as she looked around the room. "I'm Lucy," she said softly, her attention fixed on the plants I had placed around the room. "I like your plants."
"Thank you," I replied, watching as she walked over to one of the potted plants near the window. "Do you like plants?"
She nodded again, her face lighting up a little. "They're pretty. I talk to them sometimes."
I smiled at that, feeling a warmth spread through me. "You know, I talk to plants too. They don't answer, but I think they listen."
Lucy giggled, a soft sound that made me feel like I was already connecting with her. She looked at me with a little more confidence now, her eyes sparkling as she hugged her stuffed rabbit a bit tighter.
"Do you want to help me with something?" I asked, standing up and gesturing toward the small stack of books I'd brought to hand out to the students. "I was just about to put these on the desks. Maybe you could help me?"
Her face brightened at the suggestion, and she nodded eagerly. "Okay."
I handed her a few books, watching as she carefully placed one on each desk, her small hands working with focused care. She seemed to relax as she worked, and I could see that the quiet early morning had been exactly what she needed.
"You know," I said as we worked, "I think you're going to be a big help in this class. You already know how to make things look just right."
Lucy beamed up at me, the last traces of shyness melting away. "Thank you, Miss Quinn," she said quietly, her voice a little stronger now.
By the time we finished, the classroom felt even more ready than before, and Lucy looked like she'd found a bit of confidence in helping set things up. I couldn't help but feel that this was exactly the kind of connection I wanted to create with the students—trust, comfort, and a safe place for them to be themselves.
As more students trickled into the room, filling up the desks, I felt a slight flutter of nerves. I glanced at the clock and then at the door, waiting for Charles to show up and introduce me to the class as we had planned. But the minutes ticked by, and there was no sign of him.
The students settled in, chatting quietly amongst themselves, and I started to feel a little anxious. I had been counting on Charles to ease me into this first lesson, to give me that little boost of confidence in front of the students. But as the clock ticked closer to the start of class, I realized I couldn't wait any longer.
Taking a deep breath, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
Standing at the front of the classroom, I gave a small, encouraging smile to the students, trying to project more confidence than I felt. Lucy gave me an eager wave from her seat, and it gave me a small boost of reassurance.
"Good morning, everyone," I began, raising my voice slightly so that all the students would hear. The chatter died down, and the kids turned their attention to me, their young faces full of curiosity. "My name is Flora Quinnell, but you can all call me Miss Quinn. I'll be your elective teacher from now on."
The room was quiet as the students watched me, some with wide eyes, others with a little hesitation. I could tell they were waiting for me to explain who I was, and more importantly, what I could do.
"I know this is probably a little new and maybe even a bit scary," I continued, meeting their gazes. "But I want you all to know that this is a safe place for you to learn and grow. We'll be talking a lot about literature, books, and all of that good stuff, but more importantly, I'm here to help you understand your powers and how they can connect with the world around you."
A few of the students exchanged looks, intrigued but still a little unsure. I could sense their curiosity, though. That was a good sign.
"Now, some of you might already know a little bit about me," I said, glancing over at Lucy, who was sitting up straight in her chair, her stuffed rabbit still tucked in her arms. "But for those of you who don't, I have a few abilities of my own. I can turn invisible, I can move things with my mind, and I can change moods."
There was a collective gasp from some of the students, their eyes widening in amazement. A few of them whispered to each other, clearly intrigued by the idea of someone who could turn invisible.
"To give you an example," I said, feeling more confident now as I stepped forward, "I'll show you a little bit of what I can do."
I closed my eyes for a brief moment, focusing on the familiar shift in my body. A few seconds later, I turned invisible, leaving only my clothes visible.
The students' reactions were immediate—wide-eyed stares, excited whispers, and a few amazed giggles. After making my way around the classroom, I returned to the front, shifting back into my visible form. The students erupted in excited chatter and applause.
"That's so cool!" one of the kids exclaimed, their excitement contagious.
I smiled, feeling the tension ease away. "Thank you. And just like how I've learned to understand and control my abilities, we're going to work together to help you understand yours. Everyone's power is different, but each one is special."
The students seemed more at ease now, their initial hesitations replaced by curiosity and excitement. I could feel the atmosphere in the room shift—this was exactly the kind of connection I had hoped to make.
As the class settled into the lesson, I felt a sense of pride. Even without Charles's introduction, I had found my footing. The students were already starting to trust me, and that was the most important part.
Just as I began guiding them through the day's activity, the door creaked open, and Charles finally appeared, a small smile on his face as he quietly came inside.
I gave him a quick nod, letting him know that everything was under control. He returned the nod, looking a little impressed, but he didn't interrupt. He took a seat in the back of the room, watching the class unfold as I continued.
With Charles seated quietly in the back, I continued the lesson, guiding the students through a simple activity.
As the lesson wrapped up, the students gathered their things, chattering excitedly as they headed out of the classroom. Lucy gave me a shy smile as she left, clutching her stuffed rabbit tightly.
Once the last student had gone, Charles wheeled himself over to me, his expression warm.
"You did well, Flora," he said, his voice calm and encouraging. "The students responded to you, and that's not always easy on the first day."
I smiled, feeling a sense of relief. "Thank you. I was a little nervous, but I think it went okay."
Charles nodded. "You have a natural way with them. That's a gift, and one that will serve you well here."
I felt a swell of pride at his words. It meant a lot to hear that from him, especially after the uncertainties I'd had about fitting in at the school.
As Charles turned his wheelchair to leave, he paused at the door. "Remember, Flora—what you're doing here isn't just about teaching them to control their powers. You're helping them understand who they are. That's a responsibility not everyone can handle."
His words hung in the air long after he left, filling me with a renewed sense of purpose. Today had been just the beginning, but it felt like a good one.
I tidied up the classroom, my thoughts still lingering on Charles's words. It was strange how quickly I had come to care about these students, how much I wanted to help them succeed. As I wiped down the desks, I couldn't help but think of Erik's sharp comments last night. His coldness, his distance—it all seemed so unnecessary.
And yet, despite his harshness, I couldn't stop thinking about what he had said. Or maybe it was the way he had said it—like he knew something I didn't. Something I needed to learn the hard way.

Five pick ups and one drop off (Pick up 4)
Tumblr media
Pick up 1 | Pick up 2 | Pick up 3 | Pick up 4
Scott is tired and a little pissed off, so watch for language. Again, kinda crack just for fun.
I hope you enjoy.
-o-o-o-
Scott Tracy needed to re-apply his deodorant.
He was beginning to get a bit whiffy. But that’s what happens went you cut halfway across the planet after pulling a dozen people out from under a building in Taiwan.
As it was, he’d had to leave Virgil to liaise with local services to make it in time.
Thunderbird One wasn’t known for her shower facilities, but he had foreseen that in the past and his office in New York was set up with all the amenities including a spare business suit or two.
But that was a good five hours ago. If there was one advantage of crossing the dateline, it was the preservation of sunlight. He had the great pleasure of living the same day over again. With less concrete dust.
But more numbers and more annoying people.
One thing about rescue sites, bar the occasional asshole, was that the people there were usually very, very happy to see Scott and his brothers.
Here in the board room he received the distinct impression that at least several of the members would be much happier with his absence so they could do exactly what they wanted.
Which was what had been happening and why he was here.
“Sir, why the higher expenditure? Their employees are not our responsibility.”
Scott grit his teeth and his blood pressure sung in his ears. “We are saving the company and its employees. I believe with the correct financial support, they can become a solid division of Tracy Industries. We are not in the business of destroying lives.”
“This is not a rescue site, Tracy, this is business!”
Scott straightened from where he had been bent over the conference table, glaring at Martin at the far end, and pulled himself up to his full height before turning to glare at Landers on his left. “Not the way we conduct it.” His tone turned acid. “Do you think caring makes us soft, Landers?”
“Yes, it does. You are destroying our profit margin.”
Scott could not give a fuck about this particular profit margin. They were absorbing a large manufacturing business with its heart in country USA. If they didn’t handle the situation carefully, a good hundred thousand employees looked to lose lifetime jobs. The impact on the people and society would be massive. Not to mention a foolish move as TI’s most important asset was its talent. And there was good talent out there. The business had been struggling, but only to out compete TI, which it could no longer.
Its product was excellent. Brains and Virgil had done an assessment and agreed that the teams had potential. All they needed to do was absorb them into TI and then manage them into a better working culture in order to support that talent.
But it was obvious certain members of the board did not see things the same way as the Tracy brothers. Yes, the profit margin would suffer, may even go into cost in the short term, but it was the long term Scott Tracy was interested in and not lining his pockets at the cost of other people’s lives.
Tracy Industries was big and stable enough to take a hit for the common good.
“Landers…” Scott really wished his head wasn’t hurting so much. “…just go.”
“What? Go where?”
“Out.” Scott waved an irritated hand at the door. “Get out!”
“You can’t-“
“GO!”
The whole room jumped.
Landers glared everything at Scott, swore under his breath, and made a scene of gathering his tablet and collection of paraphernalia off the table and stomping towards the exit.
The moment he left, murmured protests rumbled around the room.
Out of the corner of his eye he noticed Carly, his EA, talking into her headset. A moment later Jeremy, his personal security guard, stepped into the room and took up a position quite casually just inside the door.
Great.
Not the best politic move, Tracy. But Landers was a dick and he had had it coming for a long time.
Scott had just needed to be irritated enough to follow through.
He leant over the table again. “Do we have any further objections?”
Martin at the far end was noting furiously on his tablet. Yeah, more trouble would come from that direction.
Scott sighed. He really wasn’t at his best. He needed sleep. The Virgil at the back of his head was jumping up and down on his neurons demanding he stop growling at staff and come home.
There was a knock at the door and that same brother, still dressed in his IR uniform, stuck his head through. “Hey, excuse me, I need to borrow the President for a moment.”
The room was still rumbling and didn’t really respond. Scott strode over to his brother. “What is it?”
“Come out here for a sec.”
“I can’t leave right now.”
“Yes, you can.” A heavy lifting arm reached in and yanked him out into the hall.
“Virgil, what the hell?”
But his brother was busy staring at him, dark eyes assessing him as if he was capable of medically scanning him with the melanin in his eyeballs. “You’re coming with me.” And before Scott could react - a definite sign of exhaustion if there was one - Virgil lifted him in one quick move and threw him over his shoulder.
“Virgil, what the fuck?!” He struggled, but Virgil was known for his iron grip and even in Scott’s worst moments, he couldn’t hurt his brother.
“We are going home.”
“It’s an important meeting!” The view of the floor and his brother’s butt was infuriating.
“I know. Which is why we let you go initially. However, that was hours ago, and before you disassemble the board one by one, we are intervening.”
“We?”
“Hi, Scott.”
He cranked his head up just in time to see John walk past in a crisp turquoise-grey suit. “What? John? Virgil, put me down!”
“Nope.” They entered an elevator…going up, no doubt to the roof.
“Virgil, please. John will eviscerate them.”
“Yep.” They stepped out into sunlight.
“Aww, c’mon. They’re scared of him.”
“Yep.” A big green shadow loomed over them and Virgil stepped onto her elevator, giving Scott a fantastic view of checkerplate and nothing else. “It will do them good.”
“Virg-“
“Nope. Bed.”
“Please?”
His brother kicked the wall of the cockpit and folded down one of the stretchers. He rolled Scott gently off his shoulder, carefully catching his head and neck and let him sink into the soft medical support.
Every muscle cheered in gratitude.
“Virg…” God, he was tired.
His brother responded by brushing a hair out of his eyes, his gloved hand pushing Scott’s mess of hair back from his forehead. Kind eyes looked down at him. “You need rest, big brother.”
Sure fingers darted over his body, doing up safety straps and securing him in place, and for some reason Scott did not have the energy to protest.
He fell asleep halfway across the Pacific lulled to rest by the comforting roar of his brother’s ‘bird.

Young Neil x Gen!Neutral Reader FIC cw: EXPLICIT NSFW Minors pls DNI ! ♡
Summary: You invited your boyfriend Neil to come hang out with you while Wallace and Scott were at a party, which leads to you giving him a blowjob in bed, but Wallace and Scott end up coming home right before he orgasmed. Scott was not amused.
a/n: Hi! First post on Tumblr~! I'm cross-posting this from my ao3: PatheticMenLover! Thought I'd expand my work on here too. I want to do Hazbin Hotel stuff too, seems like most of the fandom is here haha. I've just been doing SPVTW stuff, this one being my most recent one. Though, I hope you like it. <𝟑
Tumblr media
You, Wallace, and Scott are close friends. You all share an apartment and a bed too. Some people would say it is a little strange to share it with two other people but honestly it wasn’t too bad. Especially since you and Scott could not really complain, Wallace practically pays for everything aside from your Xbox 360.
If anything, you, and Scott are considered leaches. You do plan to move out sometime soon and live with your boyfriend Neil. You’re still in the works of getting a good apartment, so for now you’re stuck with a loser and Wallace. Don’t get it wrong, they are good roommates, aside from the face that Wallace bangs his boy toys in the same bed you and Scott sleep on. But…not like you guys can complain because again, he pretty much pays for everything.
You just do not want to feel some random guys jizz stain on your leg. You’re still horrified that one time where there was fresh semen on the bed and you swiped it off, thinking it was lotion but…eventually came to realize it wasn’t, thanks to Scott.
Anyhow, that leaves you here, alone in the apartment relaxing on Wallace’s armchair watching tv while Scott and him had left to go to some party. They had invited you to tag along with them but to be honest parties were not your thing and you do not enjoy socializing with random drunk people. Ironically though a party is where you met your current boyfriend, Young Neil... or well just Neil. He looked so lonely at the party. At the time you noticed he had come with a group of people, but they just parted ways, so that left him alone in a corner with a bored look on his face.
So, you walked up to him, made conversation and surprisingly it went very well. And by made conversation, you meant flirt heavily. He had a chill; calm personality and it went well with yours. Not to mention…he was adorable. How had nobody gone up to him and flirted with him before you is a mystery. After the party you two exchanged numbers and kept on talking until he very shyly asked you to date him, and how could you say no? And so far, the relationship has been going great.
Now back to you. 2 hours had passed since Wallace and Scott left you and it was an understatement to say you were bored. All you did was watch tv, play on your xbox, and eat lunch. You had the apartment to yourself and could do what you want, but why did it feel so boring still? It was because you were doing It alone.
So, you decided to call up your boyfriend Neil and ask him to come hang out with you.
“Oh, hey babe, what’s up?” You could tell by his tone he was happy to hear from you. “Hey Neil. You wanna come over? I’m at Wallace’s apartment.”
“YES!…ehm.. I mean, yeah whatever that sounds cool.” He quickly collects himself, which earned a giggle on your end. That boy was so cute it hurts. “Are Scott and Wallace there? Are we all hanging out or something?”
“Nah. Just us. They’re at a party and won’t be here until….im not sure honestly. I can’t tell with them. Is that okay with you?”
“Perfect..!” He said quickly. “Good! Then I’ll see you when you get here, yeah?”
“I already left the house.”
Today was going to be great, you just know it.
After awhile of waiting for Neil to come you finally hear a soft knock on the door. You quickly got up and fixed your clothes and hair to make it look more presentable and then headed towards the door and letting Neil in. He had on a large puffy coat, jeans, his normal shoes and to top it all off a fluffy hat covered his soft hair. You also noticed his nose was red, poor boy must have had a small cold. Afterall, it has been snowing a lot recently, especially today.
“Hey b-babe!” It was so cold you could see his breath coming straight out of mouth. “Hey baby. Come on inside, you look like you have a cold.” He nods happily as he steps right inside, and you close the door behind him. “You think I look sick?” He asks while a sniffle leaves his nose as he takes off his puffy coat and sets it aside on the armchair. “You have a cold. Have you noticed your nose is red?”
He tries to cross his eyes to look at his nose. “Hmm. No, don’t see it.” A giggle escaped your lips. “Wait..does that mean we can’t make out...or cuddle?”
“Nah. I’d still kiss you.” You grab his hand and drag him to the bed. “I’ve been playing Sims 3 and Minecraft all day, it’s boring so when you’re alone.” You grab your controller.
“Do you have castle crashers?” He grabs a nearby controller.
“Of course. Wanna play that?” He nods.
“Good choice, one of my favorite games.”
“…dibs on the purple knight.” You playfully push his shoulder. “Hey!- I wanted that one!”
Tumblr media
After a few hours of playing Castle Crashers, you two eventually got bored of it. Not because the game was bad, oh trust. But because of the stupid bat boss, could not get past it. So annoying…! Anyways, instead of playing more Xbox games you decided to cuddle up with him under the covers while you watched him play on this Gameboy Advance. He was playing Mario Kart Super Circuit as Luigi.
You snuggled your head into his shoulder while you watched him play. “Babe.. are you sure you don’t want a turn? Is It really that fun to watch me play?” He asks curiously.
“Mhm. You make cute faces when you’re focused.” He sticks his tongue out in concentration. “Huh?..sorry what’d you say? I had to get back in first place.” You snorted. “You’re cute.”
You get closer to him, you lift your leg and placed it over his crotch. His face flushes. “Haah…y/n..you’re..um….you’re distracting.”
“Distracting? Can you elaborate?”
His eyebrows furrow. “Y…you’re trying to make me lose..! I wont let you…”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” You tease. “I’m just trying to cuddle with my lovely boyfriend, can’t a person just—”
“Mhmm..”
“Oh?”
You feel a growing bump on your naked knee. It didn’t take a genius to understand what that was. He had gotten a boner from your leg laying on his dick. “Y/nnn….” You look directly at him. “Yes?”
“…I’m hard.”
“I know.”
There were a few seconds of silence between you two. “Want me to take care of it baby?” He furiously nods with flustered face. “P..please….b-but first let me finish this—”
“You can keep playing it while I suck your dick.”
“Wh- wha?...you want me to do that..?” He stammers. “Go ahead babe. Pretend like I’m not even here, kay?” You proceed to get under the covers while also getting in between Neil’s legs. His boner was more visible from this angle. “Pretend like you’re not here..?...that’s gonna be h..harrd…but okay.”
You placed your hands on top of his covered dick. You could already feel him throbbing. He breaths with a mix of anticipation and nervousness as he gripped his Gameboy tightly, attempting to concentrate as hard as he can on his game. You then put your fingers in-between his boxers then sliding it down all the way to his knees. His dick immediately sprung up with a string of pre-cum trailing down the base of his dick from the tip.
“Ohh? You were REAL pent up weren’t you?” His heart starts to race as you grab his dick. “F-fuuuck. Don’t…don’t go too fast….you’re gonna make me c-cum early again like last time..”
“Haha..don’t worry, Neil.” You kiss the tip of his dick. “I’ll try to make you last as long as possible. Just focus on your game.~”
You were going to be the death of him.
He watches you with a mix of awe and desire as you kiss and started to slowly stroke his dick. You could also feel him squirming underneath your touch. He felt warm sensations coursing through his body, but still managed to focus on his game somehow. But his eyes did occasionally flicker to your eyes.
“Ah…hnnm…”
You extended your wet tongue to the base of his dick, then began to lick from there towards the tip of it. His pre-cum tasted a little salty. “mmm~ you’re a good boy aren’t you?”
“Ughn…” A shiver runs down his spine as he tries to keep his focus on the game, but your tongue and touch were already so overwhelming. He lets out soft gasps whenever your tongue glosses over his sensitive tip. “Y…yeah..I’m your good boy….” His whimpers out, his voice barely audible. His eyes continuing to dart between the screen and your movements, his body was growing more tense with each passing second. It just felt too good.
You wrapped your lips about his tip, sucking on it gently. You also used your other free hand to caress his inner thigh. Neil’s body lifted slightly, and he grips his Gameboy tighter as your warm mouth had engulfed the tip of his dick. He bites down on his bottom lip, trying to stifle the series of moans that threatened to escape his soft lips. The sensation of your hand on his thigh and the pleasure from your mouth sent waves of ecstasy through him. “y/n…g..ghhn…ugh!” He struggles to keep his focus on the game, it was getting increasingly difficult for him to both face fuck you and continue playing the game.
You started to take him further into your mouth, his dick hitting your throat each time your lips met his messy pubes. Your tongue trailing over the veins on his dick then back to his tip and then back to the veins. Neil’s head falls back onto a pillow as loud moans escapes his lips, his body trembling with pleasure. He could feel himself getting lost in the sensations, at this point the game had fallen from out of hand, he had forgotten it as he surrenders to the pleasure you’re giving him.
You then could feel a hand being placed on top of your head, gently pushing you further down. “Y..yes…just like that…you’re amazing…” His free hand grips the covers of the bed, and his breath became more ragged. You completely took your mouth off his dick and used your hand to stroke him quickly. “Gonna cum for me baby? You wanna cum on my pretty face, yeah?”
Maybe you were just hearing things but..was someone outside the front door..?
He pathetically lets a few tears fall from his face as he gasps sharply. His mind was going blank with pleasure, too much was going on he couldn’t think of anything else except you. He couldn’t help but let ot a lew, guttural moan, hips involuntarily twitching In response to the intense pleasure. “Y-yes!...I..I can’t hold back much longer…n..need to cum..” He struggles to form coherent words, completely hypnotized by your hand.
Keys entered the lock of the front door. Someone is here.
“Cum for me. Now.” Your trail your free hand from his inner thigh to under his shirt, caressing his chest. As for your occupied hand, your hand kept his dick busy with your fast paced strokes. “I-Im…y/n…I’m so close…ssso so close…don’t stop pleeease…”
The front door opens. Wallace and Scott enter the room before noticing..-
The intensity of your hands pushes him closer and closer to the edge, you consumed his mind entire;y. He lets out a final string of incoherent moans, his free hand gripping the sheets so tight his knuckles were turning white as he approached his climax. “Y-y/n…I’m…I’m gonna…c-cummingg!!” He rolls his eyes to the back of his head and arched his back involuntarily as he finally reached his peak, releasing his cum onto your face with a final, shuddering orgasm.
A string of cum landed on your lips, to which you licked it off. You then stuck your head out from under the covers to see Neil’s tired, exhausted face. He had tear stains on his cheeks and he was breathing heavily. You chuckled at this. “I hope I didn’t go too hard on you babe. You okay?” He looks at you with a small smile before quickly dropping it when he noticed you had visitors.
“Uh..y/n….” He mutters. You tilt your face at him with confusion. “What? What’s wrong? You’ve came on my face before.” He shakes his head. “I-its not that its just uh..”
“What?”
Neil lifts his hand and points right behind you. You turned your head slowly to see….Wallace…and Scott. Both, horrified, Scott more so. They just witnessed their friend give a blow job to their other friend, and it didn’t help that you still had his cum on your face.
“uh….hey guys. How was the party?” You nervous asked.
They said nothing for a few moments until Wallace spoke up. “I never knew you had that in you, y/n.” He teased. Scott however, wasn’t amused…at all. “We..y/n… we sleep on the same BED!...Y-you’re face is covered in—!”
“I KNOW.” You embarrassingly wiped it off from your face and Neil quickly pulled up his boxers and pants. After this incident Scott tried to ban you from bringing Neil over, even when both of them were there. But since Scott was considered a leech too, it didn’t hold any value to you. As for Wallace, he found the whole thing amusing, but…he very gently asked you to not fuck him on the bed…. despite him doing the exact same thing. Apparently, he’s the only one allowed to do that. Fair enough since it was his bed after all.
That’s not gonna stop you from inviting Neil over again. ♡

hi hello if it's not too much trouble, what comics would you recommend for someone trying to study the batfamily characters and dynamics for a project? I don't know which writers to avoid or which runs are considered bad characterization. I know this varies with opinion but you seem super familiar with the differences between fanon and canon stuff. don't worry about keeping the list short or anything, I don't have a problem with reading a lot
Honestly, this is a ‘how long is a piece of string’ question, but I can give you some pointers.
Which 'family' characters are you looking at, and which dynamics do you want? Because the thing is, this varies significantly over time. What I can do for you is roughly discuss a bunch of different eras, and what's good content to look at in each of them.
A shortcut - you're often well served by looking at a Gotham-wide Event during the period you're interested in. Sure, people often have some objections to some of the characterisation, but if you're looking at how characters interact, they're the best place to see lots of variations.
In addition 'bad characterisation' is largely in the eye of the beholder. There's actually less agreement on what is and isn't 'bad characterisation' than you might think - it depends on who you're talking to and what stories they like. Characterisation with comics characters is best thought of as a sliding spectrum - there's a range that most people will accept, and when characters go outside it people start getting unhappy. I'll try to note major shifts or universe resets or retcons along the way though.
Pre-Crisis:
Look there is very little in pre-crisis you need to look at for this. Sometimes people will pull stuff forward for Dick and Jason as Robin or Barbara as Batgirl, but largely things stand without this.
Post-Crisis:
I'm happy to walk you through post-crisis up to 2011. I'm still getting a handle on 2011 to present myself.
The Early Days: Bruce as Batman, Dick as Robin, Barbara as Batgirl
In the beginning, there was Batman. One day he went to Haly's Circus where he saw two acrobats falling and their devastated son...you know how this one goes.
Pretty much everything set in this period is flashback stories, so they frequently retread the same ground over and over. Want to see the Graysons fall? You're in luck! Choose one of the more than a dozen versions! (I'm not going to list them all even though I like many)
Quality stories looking at this period include:-
Batman Year One (1986) - Batman #404-407. I am recommending this, yes, even though it's Frank Miller, because it gets referenced a lot. It's a decent retelling and the best work Miller's ever done for the Bat books by a long shot. Bruce's origin story.
Robin: Year One (2000) - Chuck Dixon and Scott Beatty. This is probably my preferred version of early Bruce and Dick stories, and it's conveniently got a sequel in...
Batgirl: Year One (2003) - Chuck Dixon and Scott Beatty. Barbara's origin as Batgirl and the only one worth reading. These two update the Dick and Barbara as Robin and Batgirl dynamics into post-Crisis.
Batman Chronicles: The Gauntlet (1997) - Bruce Canwell. This is a single issue about the 'final exam' test Dick took to become Robin. I really enjoy it.
Robin & Batman (2021) - Jeff Lemire. A very recent update of early Dick as Robin. If you want something recent and quick, this is the pick. The characterisation is good but I have a bunch of quibbles with the details.
World's Finest: Batman/Superman (2022) - Mark Waid & Dan Mora. Here's a current ongoing for you! A rarity in that is set reasonably late Dick's time as Robin, and it also doesn't repeat identical beats to those above. Lots of Bruce and Dick, strong Silver Age vibes in relationships, and a lot of fun. A great intro to the wider DC simultaneously too.
Robin II: Bruce as Batman, Dick as Nightwing, Jason as Robin, Barbara as...around
Honestly this is a period I'm weaker on. Jason's post-crisis run as Robin is pretty compact: Batman #401-428 and 'Tec #568-582. Jim Starlin's the writer who wanted to kill Jason off.
Batman #408-411 (1987) - Max Collins. The original post-Crisis 'Dick Becomes Nightwing' and 'Jason becomes Robin' story.
The Diplomat's Son - Batman #424 (1988) - Jim Starlin. This is the issue everyone talks about, where Felipe Garzonas dies. You should read it just to understand the debate, if nothing else.
A Death in the Family - Batman #426-428 (1988) - Jim Starlin. Jason's death.You should read this if you want to understand the dynamics surrounding these events and what actually happened.
The New Teen Titans - look I can't get my head around the numbering of NTT, but if you want to go into this there are eleventy million guides. NTT is very popular. This is Dick as Nightwing during this period, Marv Wolfman and George Perez working together, and considered by people who like Nightwing during this period as the definitive version. Jason appears in a few issues.
Nightwing Year One (2005) - Nightwing #101-106, Chuck Dixon. Now this is going to be extremely controversial, but I do actually recommend people read Nightwing Year One. It's a retcon, but it's an important retcon because it lays out the dynamics of Jason's time as Robin as comics writers have changed them to be following his death. If you want to see how comics writes Jason as the 'angry' and 'risky' Robin following his death, this is the most compact way to see how the narrative changed.
Batgirl Special #1 (1988) - Barbara Randall. Barbara's last appearance as Batgirl. Randall is Barbara's best contemporary Batgirl writer, and this is a loving sendoff for a character who was about to get shredded.
The Killing Joke (1988) - Alan Moore. You should probably read it. Barbara is shot in the spine. However if you want to skip it that's completely fine as the relevant beats have been retold almost as many times as the Graysons have fallen.
Gotham Knights #43-45 (2003) - Scott Beatty. This is probably the best telling of the fallout of Jason's death on the family, particularly Barbara's reaction. If you want Batfam dynamics this is what you should look at.
New Beginnings: Bruce as Batman, Dick as Nightwing, Tim as Robin, Barbara as Oracle, Helena as Huntress, Steph as Spoiler
This is an interesting period in that it's the first threads of what we now call the Batfamily, but they're only just starting to come together as Tim picks each one up. (No, seriously. This era is 'Tim meets people and works with them')
Also as will be the case for a while from here on, at least 50% of all content is written by Chuck Dixon. Now Dixon has his downsides - he's notoriously a conservative homophobe and his views can be seen in the text quite frequently, but he is really good at writing relationships between characters, and he loves a crossover. If you love the modern Batfam, you do have to acknowledge Dixon for his work.
A Lonely Place of Dying (1989) Batman #440-442, New Titans #60-61 - Marv Wolfman & George Perez. Tim's origin story. Very clear on the outset dynamics between Bruce and Dick.
Identity Crisis (1990) Batman #455-457 - Alan Grant. Tim's first night out as Robin in his own costume, plus early dynamics between Bruce & Tim. A tear jerker.
To the Father I Never Knew (1992) Batman #480 - Alan Grant. If you want to actually understand the foundation of Jack and Tim's relationship and how he contrasts it with his relationship with Bruce - look no further.
Robin III (1992) - Chuck Dixon. A very early Tim team-up with Huntress. This is a good place to start for how her relationship with the other Bats evolves in Gotham.
'Tec #647-649 (1992) - Chuck Dixon. Steph's original time out as Spoiler. Again foundational dynamics.
Oracle Year One (1996) Batman Chronicles #5, John Ostrander and Kim Yale. The story of how Barbara became Oracle. Stunning. Essential.
Knightfall: Bruce as Batman, JPV as Azrael and Batman, Dick as Nightwing and Batman, Tim as Robin, everyone else keeping out the way
Knightfall is huge and messy and all over the place but there is magic in here. You just have to dig. Parts I particularly like for family dynamics:-
Batman: Sword of Azrael (1992) - Dennis O'Neil. This is an excellent intro to John-Paul Valley, and get comfortable, because this is what Denny's going to write for the next 10 years.
Batman #488 (1993) - Doug Moench. JPV starts working at Wayne Corp. Tim is assigned to teach him the ropes as a crimefighter in Gotham.
Batman #500 (1993) - Doug Moench. JPV becomes Batman. Dick turns up to complain to Tim about Bruce being insufferable. It's all here.
Bloodbath #1 (1993) - Dan Raspler. This is a terrible comic BUT it also contains some gold dynamics between JPV, Dick and Tim.
Knightsend (1994) - team written. Bruce, Dick and Tim work together to help Bruce rehab from his injury and take down JPV. Legends of the Dark Knight #63 in particular is stunning.
Prodigal (1994) - team written. Dick as Batman and Tim as his Robin. The final issue, Robin #13, has Bruce and Dick's reconciliation over both the fight when Dick became Nightwing AND their fight after Jason died. Essential.
Welcome to the Family: Bruce as Batman, Dick as Nightwing, Tim as Robin, JPV as Azrael, Barbara as Oracle, Helena as Huntress, Steph as Spoiler
I will fight to convince you that this is the first true 'Batfam'. Everything prior to this is Bruce and his Robin, with occasional associates. This is where it goes from the Dynamic Duo to a network who intersect constantly.
Writers: It's a lot of Doug Moench and Chuck Dixon still.
Nightwing: Alfred's Return and Batman #521 (1995) - Alan Grant & Doug Moench. Alfred quit during Knightfall due to what Bruce was doing to himself. This is how Dick got him to come home, and the reunion.
Contagion (1996) - team written. The Event where Gotham gets the Clench (aka Ebola). Massive teamup storyline featuring Bruce, Dick, Tim, JPV, Helena, Selina, and Barbara.
Legacy (1997) - team written. Oh no, it's the Clench Round Two. Here we go again. Basically the same team, but JPV doesn't get invited after he proved he'd forgotten was a fax machine was last event, and Helena gets a more significant role.
Robin important family issues during this period: #17 (with Helena), #29-30 (with Barbara), #34 (with Helena), #35 (with Steph), #45 (with Jack Drake), #47 (with Dick)
Nightwing important family issues during this period: #6 (with Tim), #7 (with Babs), #13-14 (with Bruce), #16 (with Babs)
Birds of Prey important family issues during this period: Birds of Prey Manhunt, as it sets the tone for Barbara and Helena's relationship for a WHILE.
No Man's Land: Bruce as Batman, Dick as Nightwing, Tim as Robin, JPV as Azrael, Helena as Huntress and the Bat, Barbara as Oracle, Steph as Spoiler, Cass as Batgirl
The earthquake where everything goes wrong. The most notable addition to the writing pool is Greg Rucka. Honestly this is a 'so many parts of this are worthwhile, read it all' sort of period, but to help navigate there's a handful of really important points:-
Nightwing #20 (1998) - Chuck Dixon. The Dick, Babs and Tim reunion issue during Cataclysm. The world's fallen apart but they're back together.
Nightwing #25 (1998) - Chuck Dixon. Dick takes Tim trainsurfing
Brotherhood of the Fist (1998) - Chuck Dixon. This is a teamup with Connor Hawke involving Bruce, Dick and Tim. I love the dynamics here.
Huntress/Spoiler Special - Blunt Trauma (1998) - Chuck Dixon. The one Helena and Steph team up during Cataclysm. Get a dynamic you won't see anywhere else.
'Tec #725 (1998) - Chuck Dixon. Dick tells Bruce that he's going to become a cop.
'Tec #727 (1998) - Chuck Dixon. Another Dick, Babs and Tim teamup to take on Firefly.
Mark of Cain (1999) - Kelley Puckett. Cass's intro story.
Birds of Prey #8 (1999) - Chuck Dixon. Dick and Babs visit Haly's Circus
Robin #67 (1999) - Chuck Dixon. Tim and Dick break into No Man's Land.
Legends of the Dark Knight #120 (1999) - Greg Rucka. Team reunion in NML at the Clocktower.
Nightwing #38-39 (1999) - Chuck Dixon - Babs looks after an injured Dick in the Clocktower.
Legends of the Dark Knight #125 (1999) - Greg Rucka. Bruce and Jim finally discuss their issues. Barbara and Tim wait upstairs.
Endgame (1999) - various. Whole team works to track down Joker and some kidnapped babies on Christmas Eve.
A New City, A New Team: Bruce as Batman, Dick as Nightwing, Tim as Robin, JPV as Azrael, Barbara as Oracle, Helena as Huntress, Cass as Batgirl, Steph as Spoiler
This is the final Chuck Dixon era, the Rucka & Brubaker run on Batman and 'Tec, Devin Grayson on Gotham Knights, and probably my favourite era of comics ever. It's hit after hit after hit. Pick up any comic here. You won't be disappointed.
Major highlights not to miss:
Gotham Knights #1-12 (2000) - Devin Grayson. GK is my favourite Bat anthology book ever, but this run includes Transference. The overarching plot is Bruce analysing his team in a series of case notes. Unmissable.
Hunt for Oracle (2000) - Chuck Dixon. The US government tries to track Oracle down. Babs, Dick and Dinah make sure they fail.
Officer Down (2001) - various. Jim Gordon is shot. This is the consequences as people search for his attacker.
Joker Last Laugh (2001) - various. Joker thinks he is about to die and breaks out of the Slab. Chaos ensues. This is the one where everyone thinks Croc kills Tim, and reacts accordingly.
Bruce Wayne: Murderer/Fugitive (2002) - various. Bruce has been pushing everyone away for a while, so when he's accused of murder, they must ask the question, did he do it? Everyone tries to solve the mystery of who killed Vesper Fairchild, and Bruce goes through one of his 'am I Bruce or am I Batman' periods.
Batgirl #18 & #20 (2001) - Kelley Puckett. Cass' first team ups with Tim and Steph respectively.
Batman/Huntress: Cry for Blood (2000) - Greg Rucka. THE definitive Batfam Huntress book.
Hush It Looks Like War: Bruce as Batman, Dick as Nightwing, Tim as Robin, Barbara as Oracle, Helena as Huntress, Cass as Batgirl, Steph as Spoiler and Robin
Among the drama of Murderer/Fugitive, almost every single book gets a new writer. Jon Lewis takes Robin followed by Bill Willingham, Devin Grayson takes Nightwing, Birds of Prey gets fills until Gail Simone picks it up, Dylan Horrocks takes over Batgirl, Jeph Loeb writes Hush on Batman, Scott Beatty takes Gotham Knights. Personally I endorse basically all these runs but Grayson on Nightwing is controversial.
Hush (2003) Batman #608-619 - Jeph Loeb. Famous for a reason, this is a Bruce story that touches on his relationships with almost EVERY major character in his life (Cass and Steph miss out).
Gotham Knights - Scott Beatty. I don't know what to pick here but #47-49 is a team story of Bruce, Dick, Tim and Cass following Bane to a Kobra stronghold which shows off the developed family-like relationship between the 4 at this point.
Robin - Jon Lewis. Your highlights here are Tim and Steph on a date together (#111), and the 16th Birthday Story (#116-120) because it's essential to understanding where Tim and Bruce are at.
Robin - Bill Willingham. Jack finds out Tim is Robin. Tim quits. Steph becomes Robin. It's an essential arc.
Nightwing - Grayson. This is widely disliked but #81 is a great Dick, Bruce and Cass issue.
Birds of Prey - Simone. Helena joins Barbara on the Birds of Prey. They very, very slowly work through their issues with each other.
Batgirl - Horrocks. #38, Steph and Cass play tag. #45, Cass tries on Barbara's old costume. #50, Bruce drugs himself and Cass with Soul and they fight. #54, Barbara and Cass argue over her reading ability.
And then lurking in the background...War Games hits and tears the Batfam apart, with a doubletap from Identity Crisis.
Leaving Gotham: Bruce as Batman, Dick out of costume, Tim as Robin, Cass as Batgirl, Barbara as Oracle, Helena as Huntress annnnd Jason as Red Hood
Steph is dead. Barbara and Helena leave Gotham for Metropolis. Tim and Cass move to Bludhaven. Dick runs off to join the mob. And in Gotham, Red Hood appears.
Writers: Well we've added Judd Winick on Batman, and now have Andersen Gabrynch on Batgirl. Gotham Knights is now mostly A.J. Lieberman and no longer a good Batfam book (it's now a Hush book). 'Tec honestly isn't worth it during this period. Willingham on Robin has a handful of decent issues to start out then increasingly gets weirdly conservative with some very odd plotlines.
Fresh Blood (2005) Robin #132-133, Batgirl #58-59 - Willingham & Gabrynch. This is a Tim and Cass team up as they move to Bludhaven and mourn together.
Under the Red Hood (2005) - Batman #635-650. You know what this is. It's the Jason returns story.
Nightwing - Grayson. #100 - a strong reflection on Dick's past plus the most heartbreaking part of the Dick/Babs breakup as Dick just runs from all his problems. #110. Tim and Dick meet in Bludhaven and fail to tell each other all the bad things happening in their lives. #112. Dick and Helena run into each other both undercover in the mob. #117. Dick finally talks to Bruce about Blockbuster, and proposes to Babs.
Robin - Willingham. #134 is the pick of the bunch - Bruce offers to adopt Tim and Tim reflects on his time as Robin, though it's a solid little story out to #138 as the truth about Uncle Eddie comes out.
Birds of Prey - Simone. #76, the Babs side of the breakup. #83-84, Helena with the mob and encountering Dick. #90, Helena gives Bruce the new compiled mob data handbook and Bruce compliments her.
Batgirl - Gabrynch. This is a strong well loved run for the build up to Cass' final fight with Shiva, but for Batfam you can't go past #67, when Cass reunites with Babs. Also Cass hallucinates Steph twice in this run (#61 & #72).
Then Infinite Crisis arrives and we all move a year into the future.
One Year Later: Bruce is Batman, Dick is Nightwing, Tim is Robin, Jason is Red Hood, Damian arrives, Cass eventually returns to Batgirl
At this point Barbara and Helena are largely doing their own thing with the Birds of Prey and won't return to the Batfam until Reborn.
New writers all around! Adam Beechen and Fabian Nicieza on Robin, Marv Wolfman and Peter Tomasi on Nightwing, Adam Beechen on Batgirl, Grant Morrison on Batman and Paul Dini on Detective Comics.
Face the Face (2006) Batman #651-654, 'Tec #817-820 - James Robinson. The Bruce and Tim story that set up Tim's adoption.
Batman and Son (2006) Batman #655-658 - Grant Morrison. Damian's introduction to the family.
Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul (2008) - various. Ra's tries to kidnap Damian to steal his body. Bruce, Dick and Tim go to rescue him. Dick and Tim's subplot involves the highest point of their brotherhood as Dick talks Tim out of trying resurrect his lost dead.
Robin - Beechen. #156, the suicide prevention issue, for Tim and Dick. #163, Tim and Bruce on their first Father's Day. #165, Tim and Bruce working on a car together.
Robin - Nicieza. Steph's return as Spoiler. #177, where Jason thinks he can recruit Tim (and fails miserably).
Nightwing - Wolfman. You know what? #117-122, the 'Jason dresses as Nightwing and harasses Dick and turns into a tentacle monster' saga. Does everyone like to say it's out of character? Yes. Is it Jason being just as annoying as he will proceed to be all the way to 2011? Also yes. That's Jason's post-Crisis character.
Nightwing - Tomasi. Freefall, #140-146. This is just a beautiful encapsulation of Dick's many connections, of his teamwork with Bruce and Tim, and of what makes him tick.
Heart of Hush (2008) 'Tec #846-850 - Paul Dini. The premise is ridiculous, but it's about Bruce and Selina, and about Dick and Tim helping track down Hush.
Batgirl (2008) - Adam Beechen. Beechen after squiffing it with the Evil Cass saga, gets to undo the damage to Cass's character and return her to the family. I think it's a pretty successful job, despite Dick spending the entire book holding the idiot ball so someone can be unsupportive. Cass gets adopted. Tim and Barbara never lose their faith in her.
Battle for the Cowl: EVERYONE IS FREEFORM
Everyone will tell you this is all horribly out of character. They're wrong. Come for Fabian Nicieza doing hard work to actually set up characters in the places they need to be for Reborn.
Battle for the Cowl: the Network (2009) - Fabian Nicieza. Oracle and the Birds of Prey have returned to Gotham but for reasons they're not calling themselves the Birds of Prey, so it's the Network.
Oracle The Cure (2009) - Kevin VanHook. Early set up for Wendy Harris' future plot. Babs gets the mentoring itch again.
Azrael: Death's Dark Knight (2009) - Fabian Nicieza. A new Azrael for a splinter faction of the Order of St Dumas appears. Dick and Babs are immediately suspicious (and Dick has to be talked out of immediately kicking the Azrael's butt just on the SUSPICION it might be JPV).
Also the main event books happen and everyone yells at each other a lot about who should be Batman.
Batman Reborn: Bruce is missing, Dick is Batman, Tim is Red Robin, Damian is Robin, Jason is Red Hood, Barbara is Oracle, Steph is Batgirl, Cass is Black Bat
New titles! New writers! Things all over the place! People who like Jason are going to claim all of Jason's appearances are once again out of character, but Jason fans claim that about every time Jason breathes outside of UTRH, Lost Days and a small handful of very select stories after Flashpoint. I'm just saying, villain Jason is pretty consistently irritating between 2007 and 2011.
Red Robin #1-12 (2009) - Chris Yost. Not only Tim's new costume arc, but a great look at Tim's centrality as a character to the Batfam in the number of contacts he calls in at the end of the run.
Red Robin #17 & #25 (2010) - Fabian Nicieza. Tim and Cass working together as siblings and backing each other up.
Batman & Robin #20-22 (2011) - Peter Tomasi. I would strongly argue this is the best arc in B&R with the best characterisation.
Batman & Robin (2009) - Grant Morrison. Look, a lot of people like the foundation of Dick and Damian's relationship found here. Also Jason shows up to be a pain.
Streets of Gotham (2009) - Paul Dini. There's a bunch of good storylines in this anthology book, but #5-6 with Dick, Helena and Kirk Langstrom is one I particularly like.
Batman #703 (2010) - Fabian Nicieza. The best Dick, Damian and Tim team-up issue of Reborn.
Gates of Gotham (2011) - Scott Snyder. The masterpiece of Batfamily content. Dick, Tick, Damian and Cass all feature in this and all 6 possible relationships are shown in different parts.
Batgirl #3-5, #17 (2009) - Bryan Q. Miller. Damian and Steph team ups, plus a look into the tension in the Dick and Barbara relationship at the time.
Birds of Prey #10 (2011) - Gail Simone. Barbara discusses her new realignment of how she's working as Oracle and focusing on the Bats.
The Black Mirror (2010) 'Tec #871-881 - Scott Snyder. Some of the best writing of Dick as Batman during this period, and a look into his relationships with Jim Gordon, Barbara, and Tim particularly.
The Return Home (2010) - various. Bruce comes back to Gotham after his 'death' and checks in on everyone.

My thoughts on the Teen Wolf movie:
What the fuck was that?!
Eli is a pure smol bean who needs to be protected.
Dilf Derek 😍
Was I the only one who felt the strong unresolved sexual tension between Peter and Chris? I swear I felt like they were one second away from fucking.
Why is Liam on Japan? Is it because of the jar?
Hikari felt like she was just a replacement for Kira which is a shame.
It's not the same without Stiles. Scott literally needs his bestie or it's just not the fucking same.
The nogitsune storyline does not work without Stiles and Kira. It's literally their story.
Eli is literally half Stiles and half Derek.
Technically they didn't say Stiles hadn't come back in 15 years. So it could have been less time, there is no way in hell Stiles would stay away for 15 years. Not with his dad still there and still working. So maybe Stiles was just on an important mission and that's why his dad didn't want to call him.
Derek really got smart with the sheriff when saying he should call Stiles. The smug look was cute.
Why did Deaton and Scott move to LA?
They sure said nudity? Fuck yeah! There is hardly any part of Shelley/Malia we now haven't seen.
Parrish sure do got a booty on him.
How did the nogitsune get the Oni sword out of the nemeton? Shouldn't it have not been able to? The jar it was trapped in was made from the wood of the nemeton.
Derek pulled a Mufasa and that was just hilarious.
Eli said Scott hadn't seen him since he was 3. Eli was 15 and would have had to have been born before season 1. So did Derek not get Eli until he was already 3 years old?
Is Melissa a doctor now? She was wearing a white lab coat when she never did before as a nurse.
They really dumbed down Jackson to the point it wasn't believable.
Who is Eli's mom?? Maybe someone from New York?
Why Mason? Why become a cop?
We got some great one liners.
Allison is seriously going to need therapy.
What is Lydia's job?
Hearing them all swear was hilarious.
Harris? Really? Why? Like there isn't any reason why the nogitsune would pick Harris. He died in 3a and the nogitsune was 3b.
Melissa using a crossbow 😍 such a badass.
During the time Derek had let go of the nogitsune to push Scott away, Parrish could have burned the fucker and Derek wouldn't have had to die.
Eli went to live with Scott and Allison because he's the alpha but why uproot him? Why not stay in Beacon Hills so Eli can finish highschool and stay in the only home he knows?
Pretty sure Malia would have gotten custody of Eli. I doubt Derek would have granted Peter custody if he died but Malia I think he would.
Why was Malia still so cold? I don't think she would have still been that uncaring after 15 years.
Who made Harris going to Eichen House happen?
Seriously fucked up they killed Derek by burning him alive after his trauma with fire.
It was worth watching that dumpster fire just to hear Tyler Hoechlin swear.
Stiles not being at Derek's funeral was all sorts of fucked up. Couldn't they have like "had him there" but only show him from behind played by an actor who looks like Dylan? Just have like Scott hug him and tell him he's glad he could make it? Or have someone "live streaming it" on their phone on a video call with Stiles?

super bakery au thoughts
Okay i just wanted to put down some ideas i had for it, it might get random as well as spoiler future sketches regarding flower ranchers+SPOIL FUCKING EVERYTHING OKAY
tango knew scar well before anybody else. Him, scar and zed were middle-high-post secondary school besties.
Scar technically knew mumbo during school but when mumbo just came to their primary school, scar was already on the last year of it(so like 2nd and 4th grade). During that time of being buttercup trio-besties*with feelings* they accidently found out about it when mumbo's mum found his old stuff in large amount and he ask scarian to help with it
Zed cut off all connections and just disappeared after he found out that tango applied for special group. they wanted to be scientists, find reasoning behind abilities. Tango received a couple of emails from unknown addresses and absolutely random ass IPs for Zedaph's name but yeah no connection(they were quite passive aggressive and even hostile after Tango officially got into that special group. and they were like years apart, so Tango knows that he is being watched)
Tango and Jimmy were boyfriends prior to knowing Scott and Ariana. I am speaking like 5-10 years of relationship before scott, they were engaged when they went the "wait i like that guy too" route
Jimmy is Grian's cousin, i am not changing the fanon
He knows.
Tango doesn't! but he knows about Scar, obviously
Tango has minor sparking abilities. With right ammunition he could actually use something close to fire balls, but usually his fights went like this: some time of general fighting+pistols, while doing all that he tried to get on/around the enemy as much fuel as possible, and SPARK it all up.
He and scar did work in pairs, as scar was great help both from behind and along with him
Whatever I draw on sketches with his leg needs an addition that they couldn't leave the area for more than 10 hours. So yeah, his first major injury was worsened A LOT and this gave the effect that it gave
Nobody knows Tango outside of work and family, he never had a public reputation, and Scar didn't receive his until much later
Scott knew ariana first and only then grian. He originally was just an intern at the place Ariana was randomly visiting and they simply found each other interesting.
Grian did think of making out with Scott, same with Scott, nobody did anything lol
Zed would appear with Impulse and Skizz if I don't die until then. Jeez they're gonna be interesting :)
Zed does have an ability too and combined with his sciences OH JEEEEEE it is gonna be interexting x2
Zed went into cyberbiology and bio 3d printing :3 I should stop now lol
Okay the last one: gempearl were real until both realised that they are aroace so say hi to aroace besties

Kids in the Archive: Episode 5
told you it wouldn't be long until you saw kids in the archive again! originally i wanted this episode to be about the citizen kane sketch as requested by the lovely @oliviaskithworld but unfortunately i left my citizen kane script at home when i went off to college, so i'll make sure to do that episode as soon as i get home for thanksgiving break. for now, let's get into today's iconic kids in the hall sketch and break down a behind-the-scenes comparison of script and screen
Previous Episodes: Episode 1 - armada finale ("do we make it?") Episode 2 - fran & gordon: the vacation Episode 3 - comfortable Episode 4 - cathy & kathi: is he?
today we're diving into a highly cinematic sketch, s3e7's "Kidnapped"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i feel like this is the most popular danny husk appearance, as it's the one i see brought up most often. personally, there are danny sketches i'd rank higher (my favorite is "husk musk" followed closely by "brown stuff." i don't have scripts for either yet) but i feel like this sketch exemplifies everything great about a danny husk appearance: his doofy personality, corporate bureaucracy, and a touch of the surreal.
The Cinematography
while this sketch doesn't compare to the art house cinematography of later works like "love and sausages," this sketch is still full of striking visuals that are not noted anywhere in the script. as you can see above, this script opens on dave and doesn't showcase the headline until we already see danny husk holding the newspaper. compare that to the more powerful opening of a stack of newspapers being dropped on the ground. other beats, such as danny sleeping on his desk under a newspaper, are missing as well.
Tumblr media
Kevin's Character
most of the changes to this script in its final version were additions, such as the "i think this phone might be bugged" beat or bruce's kidnapper character being one he's played in previous sketches. however, the one part of the sketch that was trimmed down is kevin's character (referred to as "terry" in the final version, though the script never mentions his name). terry is the person in charge of the printers, he speaks to danny in multiple scenes, and in the script it's actually his idea to photocopy the last two-dollar bill. also he might be hinted as being into danny i'm not sure
Tumblr media
The Ending
once again, the ending is for the most part unchanged, just with a few beats shortened.
Tumblr media
unlike the final version, danny doesn't return to the newspaper boy, instead having his "i'm free" triumph in the same location where he met with his kidnapper. his celebration is also much shorter - cutting out his hug with the newsboy, his dance, and limiting his flight to just running while making the sounds of an airplane.
scott would later reference this sketch's ending when stating how he regrets not putting danny husk in brain candy, opting to replace him with a doppelganger "wally" instead. sure, danny husk isn't gay, but he also can't fly and his pits didn't cause world peace. he's such an ordinary character that his ordinariness becomes malleable, and unlike a character like buddy who tries to adhere to a sense of continuity, danny can be carried wherever the plot takes him.
