again idk if this has been said before but i love the lucanis approval when you're going after zara and illario meets you half way. lucanis is trying to get him to fuck off but illario ignores him and addresses rook, flirts w them, tells them that they should let him give them a tour. and when they also tell him to fuck off cause their honey said so, lucanis likes it. he follows up with "this isn't your job, there's no one you can charm into dropping their guard". and idk it kind of reminds me of the comment lucanis makes during the coffee date cutscene where he says smth along the lines of "even before i was captured, most things were determined for me" and adding that w the implication of illario absolutely hating when attention isn't on him paired with his resentment toward lucanis for being their grandmother's favorite AND lucanis telling emmerich that he "doesn't have illario's gift for flirting" like idk i imagine illario poaching any person he sensed lucanis had even a passing interest in just cause he's a spiteful mf

so here "there's no one you can charm" = "this one is mine, they won't fall for it"

i just think the mutual possessiveness is neat :)

guys look away im in the skk trenches again but does anyone else think about how big a thing physical intimacy Should be between them. skin on skin between a guy who always keeps his hands gloved, who is constantly aware of keeping his implanted strength in check, and a guy who wears bandages like they're a second skin, and is convinced everything he's close to and wants is something he's doomed to lose. but they are constantly shown to be physically close even from the first days of knowing each other dazais ruffling his hair and chuuya is staying his firing arm with his bare hands and its casual and constant and close in spite of everything and and and. augh.

thinking about the fact that siffrin didnt even REALIZE he knew an actual wish craft ritual when he did it (didnt even know wish craft EXISTED at that point) so whos to say theres not many many more rituals they know instinctively but dont remember? whos to say he wont accidentally make another wish using a ritual they dont realize they know? whos to say he wont wish something horrible into existence without even meaning to?
