ANYWAYS—

I love fem! Stan. I feel like a major difference would be Ford realizing his feelings for Stan and accepting them WAY sooner.

So first things first, I 100% believe Ford would be WAY more possessive of Stan. Especially when they grow older and puberty hits. When they were younger Ford was able to see Stan as just his best friend, his twin, the one person who seemed to understand him. Love wasn’t really something he cared about, not when he had Stan by his side.

But as they grew older and Stan started *ahem* maturing, Ford realized his feelings were maybe a bit less platonic than he thought. When she started dating, Ford would go mental. He would try to convince Stan that they were just trying to use her for sex. Anytime she had a date he would have to know when and where it was happening so he could make sure she was safe. And whenever they inevitably broke up, he would wipe away her tears and tell her how she deserved so much better. That they were idiots for thinking they will ever do better then Stan.

And when Stan would fall asleep, Ford would be so smug. Every break up just proves how it’s supposed to be Stan and Ford. He would have never left her for something as petty and idiotic as “holding out,” on him. Stan and his first time would be precious, something memorable and romantic. Just like how Stan likes it.

(Never mind most of Stans high school relationships ended because Ford was driving her boyfriends away with his possessiveness.)

And when Stan saves Ford from the portal? He goes absolutely feral at how well Stan has aged. She’s just as beautiful as the day he lost her.

Here’s some general head canons I have for fem! Stan:

- 100% chubby queen and we love her for it

- She secretly did boxing, but also did ballet because her Ma wanted her to

- Just like canon Stan (at least in my mind), she has been in love with Ford since childhood

- her homeless years were ROUGH, even worse then canon Stan’s (being a homeless teenager in the 70’s with no high school diploma is bad, being a girl on top of that makes it worse.)

- has a tattoo on her crotch (because I said so)

- still strong as hell, like she deserves !!

You think Dale remembers Timmy? Also, does Timmy call Dale out for his neglect of Dev? I feel like after living with his parents neglect for so long, he wouldn't tolerate that bs

I like to think that he did! Though when it comes to Timmy calling him out for being a terrible father, I can think of four possible possibilities from worst to best outcome:

1) Dale straight up doesn't care as he sees Dev just as an "asset" to him and absolutely doesn't see anything wrong with that. ( I can see this outcome especially if the Dev clone theory is true ) That or he would always change the subject every time Timmy tries to bring out that problem.

2) Dale would tell Timmy that he didn't actually neglect Dev and did spend his time with him when he's less busy ( which is a lie and Timmy can obviously see that ) He probably would come up with more excuses like he already gives his son devices that give him everything he wants, which should be enough to take care of him for Dale.

Though I also can imagine him asking Timmy if he can take care of Dev while he's doing his own thing, which I guess is better than Dale asking Timmy if he wants Dale to hire a human babysitter for his son instead since the Au Pairs isn't good enough to provide care for Dev apparently.

3) Dale took Timmy's words about him being neglectful to his son and promised Timmy that he would try to fix that and be a better father......as long as Timmy is around them.

This causes Dale's relationship with Dev to be rather shallow than genuine, as clearly he's only doing this because of Timmy. Perhaps it would take a while until Dev realizes that as well and breaks his heart further.

4) Dale took Timmy's words to heart and ACTUALLY becomes a better father to Dev holyshit (delusional)

Either way, I can see Timmy being rightfully frustrated with how Dale treats his own son but can't really do much about it due to some reasons, like maybe it could jeopardize his career or maybe he couldn't see a positive outcome for that. He probably would bring Dev out with him sometimes when he could, and try to give him a childhood he couldn't have with his own dad.

A Batfam AU where instead of going to get Dick to be Robin again Tim uses necromancy to bring Jason back from the dead. He just leaves Jason on the Wayne doorstep with a 'do better this time' sticky note. Batman can't find out who did it and Tim stays his little latchkey self with semi ok but distant parents (cus canonical they weren't really abusive just not there which isn't good but they could be worse). His parents bring him along on trips but again they love him but they just leave him to do as he pleases. so in Paris he ends up still getting trained by Lady Shiva. This keeps going and Tim just keeps reviving batfam members, if they fake their deaths and Tim tracks them down to check on them. They still have no idea who their shadow is, they can't find him, Tim likes it this way. Bruce goes MIA and Red Robin happens just minus Tim actually being Red Robin. The JLA doorstep gets a passed-out Batman with a 'I can't believe I have to keep doing this shit' sticky note on his head.

I saw it in your tag game post that you're also fond of the Apollo-Heracles conflict 👀 for a myth that appears in only a couple of sources, it sure has a lot of presence in the vase paintings (no seriously, everytime I think I've seen the last of it, I find ten more)

SO do you have any favorites among the paintings that represent this story??

I also think it's extremely interesting that it's a story so popularly portrayed by vase paintings and in such a variety of ways!! It's certainly one of the stories that gets left out of written compilation of Heracles' legend a bit (which is a shame, I think it's a fantastic story) but Apollo had a very peculiar relationship with Heracles in general that I just kind of find amazing (and very, very funny).

Apollo is not a god with any legitimate grudge against Heracles, but he does argue with the mortal a bit like he argues with his favourite brothers 😂Part of why I love the story of Apollo and Heracles fighting over the tripod so much is that it is such a little brother thing for Heracles to be upset with the proclamation his elder brother has given him and so, he throws a great fit, taking up the chair and declaring that he'll just give himself a better prophecy! And Apollo, instead of being a marginally professional big brother, decides to fight him for it until their father has to break up their cat-fight. Like was that not just the plot of the Homeric Hymn to Hermes? Is this not exactly how Apollo treated Hermes when he was a child and now those two are inseparable? 💀

Because of this, my favourite vase paintings tend to be the ones that highlight the personal squabbling between Apollo and Heracles the most. There are some very elaborate ones that have the full host of them - Athena, Heracles, Apollo, Artemis, usually a dog and a doe, I've even seen a couple that had birds and plants etched on them, but the simplest ones that show Heracles about to bonk Apollo with his club out of frustration or depict Heracles nyooming away from Apollo while Apollo (presumably) yells curses about how he's going to fling Heracles head first into Tartarus for daring to take his things? Yeah, those are the premium big brother/little brother things I'm looking for.

-a sweetheart!!!!! -the kind of person who'd be more likely to befriend all the really grown middle-aged people at their job and get along fairly well with the elderly -theyve always had a very generally gloomy outward disposition (unintentionally. like literal black aura hovering in the air over them) which people usually find intimidating, this further saddens them bcuz they mean well and are just quite softspoken 😭 -this also often causes bad weather to happen near them sometimes, so they tend to keep to themselves for the sake of others usually -wish they had a green thumb but its hit or miss on gardening probably. they fully believe plants may not like them but they still try! desperately so! -they take a lot of things very literally sometimes or take a moment to understand things -i pair them with Avery (and they do have kids later on) but honestly they are my doll to play house with whoever yay ^-^ -they also have a phantump they spoil and a ceruledge thats newer to the team whos still getting acquainted with the whole team dynamic -yes I do think that 99% of her pokemon give Avery a hard time since they really adore their trainer

Just because I am bored and curious: what wolfstar hcs do you have???

Hi, Hi, Hi there!!!

So wolfstar hcs you say, yeah? I have so MANY. I probably won't remember most of it now. It took some time because I got carried away and ended up writing a scene analysis. Doing this for the first time, so I hope this is how it goes!

Wolfstar are intense. Both pre-relationship and after they get together, they can read each other, and they are in-tune. Prank idea? Remus is the first one up for it if Sirius is. Lingering touches? They are both aware of what is happening. First kiss? Sirius took his hand, looked at him for a second, and Remus knew.

Remus has been wearing Sirius' signet ring since seventh year, within a year of them dating. (Bonus points if he still has it with him by PoA.)

Sirius likes to kiss, kiss and kiss every inch of Remus' face when they are alone. Specially during sex. He starts at the eyes.

Sometimes, spontaneously, they end up trying to make each other laugh with the most atrocious jokes they've ever come up with. It is either going on for an hour till they are both red-faced and barely breathing or they are tumbling out of bed, clutching their bellies by the second one.

I like to think the Full Moons sap Remus of his body heat. He runs SO warm pre moons but after? He is shivering immediately after. (decreased blood volume due to blood loss, vasodilation, hypoxia maybe if the lungs suffer damage from fractured ribs etc etc) So, they are cuddling, as softly as possible. Warming charms work better, of course, but it is a ritual of theirs.

Sirius sleeps like a rock under a mountain and is waking up with his teeth chattering because Remus is a blanket hoarder, and he doesn't have the blanket either. It is on the floor.

Sirius absolutely walks on the outer side of the sidewalk, and Remus is exasperated but blushes every time.

The 70s. So, of course, they don't do PDA. And Sirius is generally unfazed even when they do, in good company. But the day they tell Hope and Lyall, Remus slips and calls Sirius love. It has Sirius flushed and grinning like an idiot, nervousness forgotten. Remus makes a habit of it, after that.

Their favourite past time is drawing up ideas, debates together. Breaking down wizarding and muggle politics, magical theory, anything.

They don't gossip, but with each other? Oh they have the wildest theories one could imagine.

Sirius apologizes first after an argument, albeit for the wrong reasons. Remus kisses him on the cheek and gives him the silent treatment till he gets it right.

Me, a few episodes in: Wait, the protag really is going to be my character? The one I identify with the most? Seriously?
