I stared at myself in the mirror this morning. I usually don't even look at the mirror but today I did. My mirror sits at just the right height so i can't see much of my chest. I looked at myself and saw a man in the face, so I closed my eyes and saw a man's chest too. I smiled.
I'll have that someday.
I went to work today with the baggiest shirt I could find. I can't bind right now, I'm trying to heal up a binding injury.
I still get called "ma'am."
I have a top surgery consultation in April. I absolutely cannot wait.

Let's talk musical tracks from vol 2 that I'm going a little bit insane over:
28. Failure of Judgement - hello friends, I'm here for it
31. Please please please be Yennefer to Jaskier
35. OKAY STOP. This is OBVIOUSLY that song Jask has been singing to Ciri and now Ciri is going to sing it, probably when she's all alone by herself in the desert???? Oh my HEART.
40. Enchanted Flowers - I've been waiting for this song since I read the scene in the book. Joey is going to be amazing.
46. Long Live the King - Radovid become King of Redenia confirmed???
Next week can't come soon enough...

I just had a big brain moment and if it turns to be that way, it’d be simply magnificent the way Dain has to predict the future down to the tiniest detail. For Sumeru, he says that The God of Wisdom’s enemy is wisdom itself, and the oasis of knowledge is a mirage in the desert of ignorance. In the city of scholars there is a push for folly, yet the God of Wisdom makes no argument against it.
If the reason why Dain says this is simply because Nahida couldn’t make an argument against it (because we all know what happened to her since her very birth, poor soul)— but also because she stated herself that until recently she didn’t think of it as the Sages stepping out of their line, he really was on to something when saying that even though at first glance it would seem that she didn’t want to make any argument against it or something according to his words, it was simply because she couldn't do it.

not gonna lie, I'm really excited for chapter 11 of Don't Commit because it's one of my favorites that I've written, but I'm also so nervous for everyone to read it. I've rewritten so much of it, and it's still not quite where I want it yet, but I'm determined to make it work before Monday.

How do you imagine Levan/Revan/ Mallenoa's husband?
Appearance, personality etc.
Revaan/Laverne/whatever-his-name-is's title sort of implies that he might be from a fantasy-Eastern country (they've established that in Twstland, 竜 = Eastern-style dragons, andドラゴン = Western-style dragons). and that's about as much as we know right now about...anything in regards to what he might look like. so I've been trying very hard not to form too much of a mental picture of him, because I'm still hoping we'll get to see him (or at least a silhouette)! ergo, in my head, he kind of looks like this:
so handsome. surely Malenoa fell in love at first glance.
I do think the funniest thing about what we've learned so far is that Malleus being kind of quiet and reserved and dignified...absolutely did not come from the Draconias. and he sure as heck did not learn it from Lilia. so he probably got a lot of that from his dad! the vibe I get from how Lilia talks about him is that he could be a bit of a prim little fancyboy sometimes, but was (mostly) willing to go along with his wife's zany antics out of love. he sounds sweet, honestly! I'm sorry he (maybe) died. :(
my favorite thing about Mal's parents is that Malenoa and Lilia's dynamic was "long-suffering guard and princess who has long been the cause of said suffering":
but then they would happily join forces in order to gang up on Revaan:
tl;dr Revaan was the straightman in Malenoa and Lilia's comedy act until it all ended horribly whoops

my favorite thing about revolutionary girl utena is that finishing it changes you fundamentally as a person and both you and the characters will be haunted by the narrative and its impact forever. my second favorite thing about revolutionary girl utena is that one episode where nanami nearly gets her shit rocked by a renegade boxing kangaroo on school property

so scar's first origin was totally a witch right?
he had these distinct particles, which people thought was for an Enderian, and in the ep he was hiding from the rain, but 1.) the particles are wrong (enderian are more powdery and slowly fall down, while his sparkle and fly up) and 2.) he literally swam in water later and was fine.
but i just downloaded the modpack and got a random origin, which looked. familiar.
same particles and everything. so i looked at what i got and it turned out to be the witch,
so i think it's totally what he got. aside from the particles, if you don't use your ability or drink a potion, all it does is scare villagers. super easy to overlook. totally possible he just got it accidentally at the start and never noticed its effects before he died.
