#I see that happen a lot with a lot of creators

I just saw a Post of yours on CassSteph and I just wanted to share my thoughts.
For me, I dislike the ship CassSteph MOSTLY because of the shippers themselves. I have been in fandoms that spread hate to people who don't ship what they do.
For an example: before I watched an anime, the shipping was so toxic that I was tricked into liking a ship until I actually watched the show (I was tricked because the fandom was making a female character look awful so the MLM ship would look good) , and it's not only that, they sent death threats to the creator of the show and to the people who ship something else. It was so bad that the Creator had to make two alternate endings.
I used to not mind the CassSteph ship but until I actually was looking through the fandom's opinions on Cassandra ships, It was very obvious that some of you guys just bring down other people's ships. So whenever I see a CassSteph picture or anything related to it I either scroll away or block, because I don't want to spread hate to any shippers I also don't usually make comments like this.
I just wanted to say that sometimes It feels like this shipping community feels forceful, like you guys are confusing head-canon and canon together. It's also not that I hate the ship JUST because of the shippers, I just don't like them together.
(I'm sorry for the rant, it's all right if you ignore this if you don't agree with me, I just wanted to say my point of view on this ship and again, I don't make these kinds of comments to any shippers I just ignore them. This is the only one I've ever commented on.)
First of all I just want to say that you are entitled, as anyone is, not to like StephCass. It's a fictional ship and you can ship what you want. However, I do take issue with your tone here, and especially you sending this to me when I am obviously a StephCass shipper.
You say it's "very obvious" that StephCass shippers bring down other ships, but that's not true for me. Cass has a ton of ships, several of which I ship myself besides StephCass (I am a huge proponent of TaiCass/ChristineCass, and others love XantheCass, RoseCass etc.); lots of Steph fans also ship TimSteph, StephLonnie, etc. etc. If you're talking about the wlw polls then maybe one or two people were being spiteful but there was hate directed against StephCass too (including literally this ask), and I do not hold those ships accountable for the actions of a few shippers.
I'm sorry about what happened in your previous fandom but you cannot project that onto the StephCass community. The majority of us are huge Steph and Cass fans who love both characters and are fans of the source material. I'm sorry you don't ship them, but it isn't a point of me not agreeing with you, it's that this ask is a little upsetting to receive and you likely knew it would upset me because I am very public in my StephCass support. I kindly ask you not send asks like this again.

Honestly, the main thing that bothers me about all of this is this: I can't even enjoy this show anymore. Instead of looking forward to each new episode, I dread what’s going to happen next and who’s going to give me crap again for being an Osblaine shipper or a Nick fan.
Whether it’s because of what the creators are saying or what the show itself is reflecting (some of the outbursts toward June felt a bit like outbursts aimed at fans who dared to like Nick), and as if that wasn’t enough, there are also other fans of the show—ones who are “on different ships”—pointing fingers at us.
And I’m wondering—was that really necessary? I mean, surely there were so many other ways this could have been handled...
I’m not the one who put an epic romantic arc between Nick and June into the show. This isn’t some non-canon fantasy about a relationship that never existed, and I honestly don’t see why, after all these years, I should feel bad for something that worked for me emotionally—that just feels like a slap in the face to the fans.
I think a lot of people are very eager to forget how this show started and that, in the first two seasons, Nick and June were absolutely a central, main couple. And you know what? I wouldn’t have minded if the show had ended after season two—sure, it would have been open-ended, kind of melancholic, but still with a sense of hope…
No, I really didn’t need the drama to be dragged out for four more seasons, but here we are...

Your roommate actually banned you from watching grian third life? And you didn’t move out immediately?
(For legal purposes this is a joke but I would love to hear more about how this happened)
my roommate didn’t ban Grian Third Life in general, just banned it from being watched inside our apartment. very different
which, for how that worked, thank you for allowing me an excuse to post the tags that one of our IRL friends, @canarydarity, added to that post:
Tumblr media
(……..which makes it sound like we were making some kinda drug deal but it’s fine)
my roommate banned Grian third life bc i’d seen it too many times and she was sick of it, but it wasn’t fully one sided. i didn’t ban anything, but i didn’t always like rewatching her fave season, double life, when we were picking stuff to watch. bc while i love the season, most of the creators moved in pairs making half the povs are v similar to each other, so i don’t find it as rewatchable.
our middle ground was watching last life… a lot. this is why that season is still my most watched season, even more than third life
we tried to do a count on the whiteboard once back when there were only four seasons, so i dug up an old picture of it. VERY out of date, as you can see, but left side was my count and right side was hers, with the columns being how many times we could remember watching each season in descending order/color. ignore how ass my handwriting is
Tumblr media
(why am i just noticing she changed jimmy to jimin)
i genuinely don’t remember the conversation where she banned it, but she hit like 6 or so Grian third life watches, most of which were against her will, and decided she’d had enough and i had to go watch it elsewhere and watch other ones if she was there, which i agreed to because it was a really fucking funny rule

But when she finally tracks him down, he's different than she thought —right down to his name. Ryan is just as cute as she remembers, but the chemistry isn't there like it was before. Candace Park knows a lot about playing a role. For most of her life, she's been playing the role of the quiet Korean girl who takes all AP classes and plays a classical instrument, keeping her dreams of stardom-and her obsession with SLK, K-pop's top boyband-to herself. She doesn't see how a regular girl like her could possibly become one of those K-pop goddesses she sees on YouTube. Even though she can sing. Like, really sing.
So when Candace secretly enters a global audition held by SLK's music label, the last thing she expects is to actually get a coveted spot in their trainee program. And convincing her strict parents to let her to go is all but impossible ... although it's nothing compared to what comes next. Under the strict supervision of her instructors at the label's headquarters in Seoul, Candace must perfect her performance skills to within an inch of her life, learn to speak Korean fluently, and navigate the complex hierarchies of her fellow trainees, all while following the strict rules of the industry. Rule number one? NO DATING, which becomes impossible to follow when she meets a dreamy boy trainee. And in the all-out battle to debut, Candace is in danger of planting herself in the middle of a scandal lighting up the K-pop fandom around the world.
If she doesn't have what it takes to become a perfect, hair-flipping K-pop idol, what will that mean for her family, who have sacrificed everything to give her the chance? And is a spot in the most hyped K-pop girl group of all time really worth risking her friendships, her future, and everything she believes in?

On the outskirts of the Red Light District in Bihar, India, fourteen-year-old Heera is living on borrowed time until her father sells her into the sex trade to help feed their family and repay his loans. It is, as she's been told, the fate of the women in her community to end up here. But watching her cousin, Mira Di, live this life day in and day out is hard enough. To live it feels like the worst fate imaginable. And after a run-in with a bully leads to her expulsion from school, it feels closer than ever.
But when a local hostel owner shows up at Heera's home with the money to repay her family's debt, Heera begins to learn that fate can change. Destiny can be disrupted. Heroics can be contagious.
It's at the local hostel for at risk girls that Heera is given a transformative opportunity: learning kung fu with the other girls. Through the practice of martial arts, she starts to understand that her body isn't a an object to be commodified and preyed upon, but a vessel through which she can protect herself and those around her. Blood, sweat, and death. Welcome to the Pax Games.
Jo Linden was born into a world where wars are won with giant mechanical soldiers and the nuclear bomb was never invented. Yet the Cold War still rages, and international rivalries between democracy and communism are now fought at the Pax Games, an Olympic-style competition that pits young pilots of mechas against each other. The USSR has beaten the US in nearly every game since its inception, and in the 1963 Games, the US is desperate for a win. Because it's more than just the Games at stake. Premier Khrushchev will be attending, and after, he and President Kennedy are slated to sign a peace accord stabilizing the war in Vietnam-and their volatile relationship.
Raised in her father's mecha repair shop, Jo knows more than anyone about piloting. She's also the most unlikely pick for Team USA since she's a virtually unknown fighter. So when she's invited at the last minute to compete, she jumps at it. This could be the only chance to save her family's home from debt collectors. All eyes are on Jo from the moment she arrives. But as fighters start dying in the arena, it's suddenly clear that it's more than the usual Pax Games, and Jo finds herself drawn into a deadly political plot. And if she can't figure out the truth, it might mean the annihilation of everything.
In a global arms race between superpowers, playing out in violent games that only humanity could create, comes a chilling story of clashing titans, ruthless competition, freedom, and the girl caught in the middle of it all.

Request! Wondering if you could do steve rogers/reader where reader is his gf/wife that none of the avengers know about but end up finding out?? (Like Clint hiding his family) thank you!!
Not A Secret Anymore » Steve Rogers/Captain America
Pairings: Husband!Steve Rogers x Wife/Pregnant!Reader with the Avengers
Summary: Steve kept you and yours and his unborn child a secret to protect you guy, but the Avengers end up finding out about you and the baby.
Warnings: Fluff, language, secret relationship, kissing, pet names
A/N: Thank you for the request, nonnie🩵
A/N #2: Italic text is Steve’s vision when Wanda manipulates his mind.
Written on my phone. My apologies for any mistakes.
Header made by @buck-star
GIF IS NOT MINE! Gif credit goes to the creator.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“When do you think you’re coming home?” You asked Steve on the phone.
“Hopefully tomorrow. I’ll text you before I come home.” Steve tells you. “Make sure our little one protects you till then.” He smiles.
“We love you, Stevie.” You smiled, putting your free hand on your 2 month pregnant belly.
“I love you too, sweetheart.” He says.
Clint happened to be walking by Steve when he said I love you” to you before he hung up the phone.
“Who did you say “I love you” to?” Clint asks curiously.
“Oh- uhh- my girlfriend.” Steve says.
You and Steve are actually married. You two have been married for almost 2 years. You two also have a baby on the way. Yours and his first child. The Avengers don’t know about you and yours and Steve’s unborn child. The only reason why he’s keeping you and the baby a secret is to protect you two. He hates keeping this a secret from his team- his friends.
Steve was sitting on the quinjet, staring at a picture. He smiles at it. He kisses the picture before putting it in his pocket. He sighs before exiting the quinjet with the Avengers.
———
“We need someplace safe to stay after that.” Clint says.
“I know a place.” Steve says.
The Avengers made their way to yours and Steve’s house. Steve texted you, telling you that he’s coming home and some of his friends are coming with him. You were completely fine with that. You straightened up the house just enough so it was nice for Steve’s friends.
The quinjet landed in the grassy area around yours and his house. They got off the quinjet and followed Steve up to the house. He walked inside with the Avengers following him inside. The Avengers stopped in the living room while Steve greeted you. They stared at Steve in confusion when he kissed you. Steve then moved to your side and wrapped his arm around your waist protectively. The Avengers’ eyes zeroed in on your stomach, seeing your pregnant belly. Even though, you’re 2 months pregnant, your pregnant is small, but started to become a little noticeable.
“This is Y/N. She’s my wife.” Steve introduces the Avengers to you.
Their eyes went wide when Steve said wife.
“Wife?” Tony asks.
Steve nods.
“How long have you two been married?” Bruce asks.
“Almost 2 years.” You say, smiling up at your husband.
“Are you- you know?” Clint asks, referring to your pregnant belly.
“If you’re asking if I’m pregnant, yes I am. I’m 2 months pregnant.” You say happily.
The Avengers stared at you in surprise. This is something they would’ve never expected. They’re also wondering why Steve never told them about you and the baby.
“I know you guys are surprised to be hearing this for the first time, but please don’t be mad at me. I kept her and our baby a secret, because I wanted to protect her. I lost a lot over the years. I didn’t want to lose my wife and baby too.” Steve says.
The Avengers were going to question him why he kept something as important as you and the baby a secret, but hearing his reasoning behind it made those questions fade away. The Avengers were silent for a small moment before Thor spoke up.
“It’s nice to meet you, Mrs. Rogers.” Thor says.
“It’s nice to meet you guys too.” You smiled at them. “I can show you guys to your rooms if you’d like.” You suggested softly.
“That would be nice.” Natasha smiles.
Natasha followed you upstairs while the guys stayed in the living room with Steve. Natasha caught a glimpse of the baby’s nursery when you guys walked past it.
“Is this the baby’s nursery?” Natasha asks curiously.
“It is.” You replied. “Would you like to see it?” You asked.
Natasha nods. You walked in the nursery with Natasha following behind you.
“Everything is unorganized at the moment and Steve and I are still trying to figure out where we want to put everything.” You tell her.
Natasha looked around the nursery with the look of interest on her face.
“If you want, I can help you guys set it up.” She politely suggests.
“Really?” You asked with a smile.
“Of course.” She nods and smiles.
“That would be nice. Thank you.” You smiled.
“You’re welcome.” She smiles back.
While you and Natasha were talking in the nursery, Steve was talking to Tony, Bruce, Clint, and Thor in the living room.
“What do you guys think of Y/N?” Steve asks.
“She’s cool. I like her.” Clint says.
“I like her too.” Bruce says.
“Me too.” Thor says.
“Me three.” Tony says.
Steve smiles at them, loving their responses. You and Natasha went downstairs a moment later.
“We were just talking about you, sweetheart.” Steve says.
“All good things I hope.” You say.
“All good things. They like you.” He smiles.
“I like her too!” Natasha chimes in.
“I like you guys too.” You say with a smile.
———
It’s been a few days since the Avengers stayed at yours and Steve’s house and found out about you and the baby. It went way better than both of you expected.
“I’m sorry for springing the team on you with little notice a few days ago.” Steve says.
“You don’t have to apologize, sweetie. I understand.” You say softly.
Steve put his hands on the sides of your pregnant belly and kisses you softly and passionately.
“Oh and Natasha offered to help with the nursery.” You say.
“The more help the better.” Steve smiles. “Did she suggest naming the baby after her if we’re having a girl?” He jokingly asks.
“No.” You giggled. “We’re still naming her after your mom.” You say with a smile.
“Or we’re naming him after my friend Bucky if we’re having a boy.” He says with a smile.
“That sounds great, honey.” You smiled. “I love you so much.” You say softly.
“I love you more, darling.” He almost whispers, kissing you softly.

im gonna throw up ummmm uyhh
nuance/other
like
th
Okay'
everyone in thge tags talking about how she needs to see axis as a person first âś…âś…âś…THANK YOU at the time the game ends she does not respect him even remotely and she needs to cut that out if she wants to have amny kind of relationship that isnt hostile.but since everyone seems to grasp that i'll instead just say that in a hypothetical post-canon they can work through their issues and like each other. and now i'll go on to how axis feels. which is:
UAAAH UHHRHG ghgh RRRHGGHHHGHHHnjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjsyukd
First let's looka t that Other Thing too! (im imagining this in the canon space that kanako and axis were friends pre-integrity. if you dont subscribe to that idea just imagine this post without kanako mentioned it might work with just chujin ok? ok) does axis call chujin his father and kanako his sister?
uh holy shit? probably not? which is not probably an entirely ok thing?
the ketsukanes are a very traditional nuclear family
axis is not supposed to be ALIVE. the robots are not meant to be SAPIENT.
if axis had even thought to bring up being family to chujin once he would have been shot down. and if axis had asked kanako. well. lets jusr say chujin's the guy that raised kanako. but axis has very strong feelings towards both of them, and chujin created him and they care about each other, axis should at least have the space to explore that maybe chujin is like his dad, maybe kanako is like his sister! he doesn't have to feel like they are because why would he??? he isn't a monster! he can do things his own way, he doesn't need to subscribe to monster things like having a family. they can just be "creator" and "creator's daughter." but i think he should at least be allowed to consider that they're family and i do not think he would and i question, even after the game ends and he's "free", if he would allow himself to consider that, or even be able to question that? because how would he learn about family if he can't leave the steamworks and none of the other robots have family? how would he think about kanako being his sister if he doesn't remember she exists? (canon, btw, if you arent privy to my me it's canon that axis can't remember people after a recharge unless he scans them in and he cannot scan kanako in since she's truelabbed.) how would he feel about chujin being his dad if he hasn't seen him for a long time and how would knowing he's dead affect that?
and now this loops back to CEROBA again but we've already ESTABLISHED they need to get to the point where she sees him as a person. i feel like most of this would come after the barrier is broken, and kanako is now open about the fact that she knows axis and used to be very close to him. and kanako and axis would unpack how they feel about each other and if they're "siblings" or want to stick with "close buddies" or "the man who made me also made this guy." i dont think neither ceroba nor axis would even consider the possibility of labelling each other as family unless that happened, axis because theres nobody who better fits the definition telling him so, ceroba because... i mean, chujin never brought axis up and when axis brings chujin up he never callls him his dad so why would she even consider her being a mom? and in the case that kanako and axis are actually Not close and Never met and Don't meet after the barrier breaks. well good luck ceroba+axis they're never exploring anything
and now actually taking a step back to look at ceroba and axis in isolation. what would being a mother to axis entail? what would axis being her son entail? they've never lived together (i mean i've seen a couple post-barrier interps where they live together on the surface but not a lot and i've never seen one i liked but that's besides the point), age isn't a meaningful descriptor you can apply to the robots but he's certainly not a child who needs taken care of, and a lot of the problems he has she probably can't take care of simply because she's not an engineer. the only thing she has to offer him is advice–he's not particularly clever, and somehow i doubt emotional intelligence was installed in him. ceroba has to process, like, everything wrong with her life herself, but whether that takes a year or five years or ten years, axis will have been sapient for about a year or five years or ten years, which is not a lot of time to have spent self-aware and he'd still need someone to help him understand how he feels. i think ceroba'd be good for that! i think they have a lot in common. they'd be skipping over the raising-an-child part, but i'm sure ceroba could still hassle him over leaving his room i mean charging station a mess, or help him file his robot-taxes, or comfort him after a messy breakup with guardener. likewise, he could insist on making breakfast in bed for her on her birthday... okay actually i was gonna list more examples but i'm too captivated by the idea of axis making ceroba breakfast-in-bed. however bad i'm imagining it going it would undoubtably be worse. i need to see that can someone make that please
which brings up the question, like the one i stated earlier with chujin and kanako: in that case, would axis and ceroba be familial? everything they can do for each other are also thigns a friend could do. does their relationship have to be mother-son? and
IDK. nuance/other
Ok I called axis (beta)ceroba’s “son she hates” on my beta uty talksprite post as a joke but that does remind me of smth im curious abt
Timeframe for when they would start doing it if u answer the first two can be as long as u want it to be. Just as long as u believe at some point in time post uty canon they would likely do it

As most of you know I try my best to be civil and kind. I’m too exhausted and the world sucks too much for me to go about making other people feel like shit, it’s not really something I see worthy of my or anyone’s time really. I try to keep things positive not only because it might brighten someone else’s day but for my own sake. I curate this space because I know a lot of you feel and experience the same things I do. Do not twist this into me being delusional. I am fully aware the internet can be an unkind place, but that doesn’t mean my blog, my space, has to follow that example.
Be kind, be patient, and be respectful, not that the majority of you haven’t already been doing so. Asks are open again. Anonymous will be turned on again when I feel comfortable.
Apologies to those who used anon because they were nervous/anxious. I completely understand where you’re coming from and this is nothing against you. Regardless I do hope you stick around, and maybe one day work up the courage to be open with me. Or continue to keep your distance, I completely understand that too.

I initially showed up for Arsenic, and now I'm here for all your art! I hope I'm not overstepping or anything when I ask: What happened with the OMORI fandom? Were they rude or stupid or something? I like the game and the most I do with the OMORI fandom is reblog art and stuff, is that okay to follow you or would you rather someone like me not follow you?
Oh hi ! Thank you for continuing to like my art! <3 Long story short, I got drama thrown at me. But tbh that's not really what makes me dislike the fandom most, because fundamentally the only way that's tied to the fandom is the fact that it shows how quickly people will jump on a hate train — which is. the real reason, actually. That and the general oppressive atmosphere
If all you do is reblog art, you're chill, I just try not to talk to OMORI fans anymore personally. Being in that fandom's made me paranoid for a period of time and I just don't want to go back to that

also like why r ppl confused about the technological jump in lok it’s literally the same as happened irl. avatar takes place in the rough equivalent to the mid 1800s, it’s not medieval or anything. lok takes place roughly equivalent to the early 1900s. that is, in fact, what happened irl in the seventy odd years between, say 1850 and 1920. like it’s literally just historically accurate.

can't lie g/omens fans are starting to piss me off
#cant rlly talk bc i watched it too like#but i cant imagine being so attached to a show that you are SOO desperate for s3 that you don't seem to care that one of the creators has#multiple extremely credible allegations against him. which when they were revealed a lot of his long term fanbase reacted by saying#'yeah that tracks there were rumours about him for years' like hello?????#are you really so desperate for a ship portrayed by two straight men and written by a straight creep to become canon??#remember when people tried to discredit the allegations by saying the timing was suspicious wrt the uk election. wild#also WHY did it take so long for mainstream media outlets to report on it. so weird i wanna know what happened there#like as far as i can see the bbc still hasn't reported on it???#which is crazy atp. he's not a household name but his work was successful and a lot of people would probably have heard of go or coraline#okay so i wrote this post and then googled and found out he'd been fired from the show. which GOOD#and then saved this to the drafts bc i figured it wasn't relevant anymore#but then i went into the tag and saw the fucking destiel meme meme saying 'we're not getting a full season :(' FUCK OFF OMG#the man has such credible allegations against him that even big corporations are refusing to employ him again#and the reaction is 'but we no longer get six hours of tv' oh my god#it's so late and im so tired maybe i won't be so annoyed about this after a full night's sleep#unlikely tho

#tw vent#in tags at least#when i was reading hs like 3 ish years ago i related a lot to vriska and terezi cause i was in what i think was a really destructive#friendship qpp thing with my best friend online and a boy who liked both of us but mostly her.i was incredibly isolated irl as was my friend#and all my other online friends. i really should have seen that something bad could happen but i didnt and i got into a really deep#depression for like 3 months after but. my dearest friend girl decided to start befriending a 30 yo man and i. like an idiot. followed her#like a lovesick puppy even though all the warning bells were going off. we were in a gc with him that we texted in at all times of the day &#night and we shared selfies and dreams and our daily problems with isolation or hw or whatever. he got more and more creepy and my dearest#friend lashed out at him because she was scared while i sort of stopped talking as much because i was scared but. he still talked to me lots#in dms. he talked shit about the authority figures in our lives and isolated us from our ither online friends he made creepy picrews of me &#my friend getting married and he talked about moving in with us one day. we blocked him but sometimes he still tries to contact me. after it#blew up my friend left me and discord which is probably best and after my depression time i eventually got an irl friend or two but. i never#got over it. he did it to other people too we found out later. he always complimented me on being so sharp and talented and it was nice caus#it was really my first compliment from an adult who wasnt my family and. ig it got to my 14 yo head. anyways. the update made me cry. i had#read that it was bad and knew it would be bad for me specifically cause doc scratch always reminds me of that time in my life but. i didnt#think it would be that bad. i dont blame hs2 creators or anyone else and ig im glad i braved the storm but it was really painful to read#gonna go watch a more light hearted thing now.#if anyone sees this dw ill get over it#anyways. believe the warnings this update is very triggering and you can skip it if you want#glad i have like 5 followers rip

Maybe... just maybe, if you're spending more time making long posts about hypothetical people getting mad at the content you're creating, than you are actually making the content... you're not very good at curating your own online space, and on top of that, you're risk making the people who do follow you for your content feel like you care more about the people that dislike your content.

bleugh im thinking about my survey again. currently i have 57 responses. 57 personal accounts/responses is a great number, plenty of replies. 57 answers that are meant to be a generalization of a fandom, specifically what they like/dislike is not so great. is it probably true that 39/57 (68.4) people saying lumity is their otp does represent the fandoms general opinion on lumity? yes, but 57 is still such a small number. sigh
