"Man this is the fucking FIFTH studio I called today and none of them got availability tonight" You groaned out of frustration.

"Why you wait until the last minute to call these studios?" Delyse questioned.

"Well I just signed up for the contest. It was a spur of the moment thing I didn’t really think it through." You said.

Delyse hummed in response and turned her attention back to the food on the stove.

"We can see if Kenny still got his home studio. I think he still live on 33rd" Davis said.

"Bet let's go. We'll be back Ma" You said to your mother and left with Davis.

"You got a song you gonna record?" Davis asked.

"Yeah I wrote it a long time ago. I made the beat and everything" You smiled.

Soon the two of you made it to Kenny's house. You walk into the building and climb up the three flights of stairs, remembering that his elevator never worked. You got to his door and knocked on it.

You waited patiently and slightly out of breath. You knocked again, "Yo Kenny it's me Jah."

Suddenly, the door was ripped opened and a furious looking woman stood there with a crying baby on her hip.

"Uh is Kenny here?" You asked.

The woman laughed sadistically, "Of course you're looking for Kenny. Kenny left four months ago with a skank from Brooklyn."

You and Davis looked at each other stuck on what to say.

"Um...you don't happen to still have his studio equipment?" You asked carefully.

"Nope. I burned it. I burned everything of his" The woman replied.

"Okay thanks" You both gave her a small smile and walked away from Kenny's former apartment. The two of you left the building with you feeling utterly defeated.

"What the fuck am I gonna do? I have to submit this demo by 11:59 tonight" You sighed.

"Don't stress bruh we gon' figure something out. Trust" Davis reassured you. You nodded and took a deep breath in to calm your body down.

Jenna had just got to her temporary home after a long day of filming. She was exhausted and was glad she had the day off so she can rest properly. She pulled her shoes off and placed her purse on the table.

Just as she was about to sit on the couch, a knock is at her door.

She internally screams before she walks to the door and opens it to reveal Hudson.

Jenna sighed, "What do you want Hudson?"

"I...just wanted to check in on you. I know you've been working hard which could be harmful to the baby" Hudson said nervously.

"Now you care about me and my baby" Jenna said and raised her eyebrow in suspicious at the boy.

"I always cared about you Jenna. If I didn't I wouldn't be here right now" Hudson replied.

"If you cared about me you wouldn't have told my family about me being pregnant. That wasn't something someone who cared about me would do" Jenna said and crossed her arms over her chest.

"You're right. I shouldn't have done that, it wasn't my place to do that and I sincerely apologize" Hudson said.

Jenna hummed in response, not really believing his words.

Hudson sighed and scratched the back of his neck, "I truly am sorry and I regret doing it. I just...I just wanted to check on you after everything that happened with Neil on the plane."

At the mention of the male, Jenna tensed. She was doing good with pushing him out of her thoughts. Instead, choosing to focus on her filming. She couldn't and won't let him control her...not anymore. She deserved to be happy.

"I'm fine. I'll handle it" Jenna lied.

Hudson opened his mouth to say something but decided against it after seeing the look on her face.

"Okay...I'll uh...see you tomorrow" Hudson said and walked away from her door. Jenna shut the door after he left and sat on her couch. She was stressed and that wasn't good for her or the baby...she needed to relieve some stress.

Jenna groaned and placed her phone down next to her. She needed to eat, shower, and sleep. But before she could even attempt to start, her phone dinged again. She grabbed it and opened the message from you, she took a sharp inhale of air.

It was picture of you in the mirror with your head titled to the side and tongue stretched out your mouth. Your tongue was naturally long, almost reaching to your chin. But what also caught her eyes was your hand placement which was grabbing your genitalia through your gray sweatpants. That's all Jenna needed.

You laughed at Jenna's message and fixed yourself before walking out the bathroom. You and Davis got back to your Mother's house defeated from the lack of progress in finding a studio.

You don't know how you were going to finished this demo and submit it in 4 hours.

A knock at the door grabbed your attention, you watched as your mother walks to the door and cracks it open.

"Hey Leon" Delyse smiled brightly at the sight of the man.

"Hey Del, how you doing?" Leon gave her a smile back.

"I'm good just cooking for these clingy kids" Delyse answered and opened the door wider for Leon to see you and Davis.

"Hey Mr. Greenhill" You and Davis simultaneously greeted the older man. Leon chuckled and waved at them.

"Oh I knew I smelled something delicious. Man I missed smelling your cooking reminds me of the old days" Leon flattered.

Delyse let out a little giggle, "Yeah the old days."

The two adults stood in the doorway looking at each other basking in the comfortable silence. Meanwhile, you and Davis looked at each other before looking back at the older adults.

"I...uh just wanted to stop by and say hello. I don't wanna intrude anymore than I already have" Leon smiled at Delyse.

"No, no, no intruding...do you want a plate?" Delyse boldly asked.

It took a moment for Leon to come up with a response but eventually he did, "Uh yeah sure."

The older gentleman walked into the house and Delyse closed the door behind him. Leon pulled off his cap and held it in his hands. He sat next to you at the end of the table.

"How you guys doing?" Leon politely said to you and Davis.

"Eh" You shrugged.

"Eh? Why eh?" Leon questioned.

"Jah signed up for this music competition. Winner gets a five million dollar record deal with Passion Records. The contestants must submit a demo by 11:59 p.m tonight but we haven't found a studio all week" Davis explained.

"And I tried recording it on my phone but the audio is all grainy and hard to hear" You sighed.

"Hmm...can you sing the song you are going to submit?" Leon questioned.

You and Davis glanced at each other again but Davis just shrugged. You scrolled to the notes app and pulled the beat of the song you are going to use.

"Rollin' through with stacks, it's easy, money rainin' down, just like a storm, I got the riches-" You get interrupted by Leon pausing the beat on your phone.

"No" Leon said.

"No? What you mean no? It's a good song" You scoffed.

"Yeah for the early 2015 era when singing about money like that could get you hits. It's 2023 now, people want to hear something different something unique. If I was a judge and I heard that...I would think you're just hopping on the trendy music hoping for yours to be the hit. But you don't realize that everyone is thinking the same thing as you. The only way for you to be looked at twice is if you stand out. Let the lyrics come from within you, come from your heart" Leon explained to you.

Delyse then comes from the kitchen with a plastic bag with aluminum foiled wrapped plates inside.

"Here you go" Delyse smiled and handed Leon the bag.

"Thank you. I really appreciate this Delyse" Leon smiled at her grateful. He stood up from the table and grabbed his cap.

"Once you find those lyrics, come and find me on Southern BLVD but hurry though you got four hours left" Leon said and left the house.

Meanwhile, you sat stuck at the dining room table. Replaying the words Leon said, basically calling your song shit. It stung but deep down you knew he was right. The song didn't feel like you, it felt like a 14 year old wrote it and it wasn't your style.

You glanced at the clock on the wall as you grabbed a pen and paper. 7:48 p.m. Your eyes then glanced down to your phone and an unopened message from Jenna.

"Have to be..." You muttered to yourself. Instantly, your hand starts to move by itself as you write down the lyrics to your new song.

Two hours later, you finally finished and made your way to Southern BLVD with Davis tagging along.

"Why Southern BLVD though? What's here besides crackheads and prostitutes?" Davis commented.

The two of you continued walking down the block until you start to hear the sound of music. The closer you got to the corner, the louder and clearer the music became. It was street drummers and Leon was in the middle of them playing the electric guitar. You and Davis watched in amazement as he kept up with the drummers until they finished their last cord together.

The small amount of people that were gathered applauded them and a couple gave a few dollars before walking away.

"Yo I ain't know you could play the guitar Mr. Greenhill" Davis said.

Leon chuckled, "I'm a man with many talents son." The older male turned to you.

"I'm assuming you got something better with you this time" Leon teased.

You laughed, "Yeah I do. Wrote it from the heart like you said."

"Alright, well you better warm up that voice. You got a song to perform" Leon smiled and patted your back.

"Wait what? Right now? In public?" You questioned.

"Uh yeah. You need to submit that demo in two hours. I checked to see if you submit a live version of your demo and it said you could so get a move on" Leon said and stepped to the side.

"I don't got a beat though I just have the lyrics" You said. You were really trying your hardest not to perform in front of people severely underprepared.

"Don't worry about that" Leon said and placed the guitar over his shoulder.

Leon then played a cord on the guitar, soon the bucket drummer started feeling the vibe and matched the cord Leon was playing. Then you heard someone sweeping from behind you, it surprisingly also matched with everyone. You start to nod your head, feeling the rhythm and you grabbed the beat up microphone from the ground.

Davis pulled out his phone to start recording you.

"Can't wait for you to get home, we ain't got to go nowhere. Airplane on my phone, it can wait til the morning. I can't fathom why you choose me out billions but I'll take it" You sung. You felt your eyes close as you got lost into the music.

Soon, you finished off the song to a large crowd cheering and clapping at your performance.

"I told you let the lyrics come from your heart. You made magic tonight Jah, take pride of your work" Leon educated you.

You nodded at him and walked over to Davis who was fiddling with his phone.

"And submitted" Davis smiled at you as he submitted the demo on the competition website.

"Hard part is over for now. Now we wait" You exhaled deeply.

When it comes to twincest and their relationship, Jaime Lannister is the victim. Cersei Lannister is an abuser. Mutual abuse doesn’t exist.

I had both a tumblr interaction and I saw a Reddit post on r/asoiaf mainly talking about the sane thing. How Jaime was toxic to Cersei and that the relationship was mutually abusive. In the Reddit post specifically, they talk about how Jaime r*aped Cersei by coercion because of an specific quote of hers where she thinks of him (with a smile) when another character mentions a situation where she felt like she couldn’t say no and asks Cersei if she ever lived the same.

So I decided to write this down because much like @ginmo did once, it’s absolutely infuriating that in the year of 2023, we have such a hard time identifying a male victim of abuse.

I’m gonna use the old “reverse the genders” argument here because unlike most cases, I think this is one of the rare situations where it can be applied, because even though Jaime and Cersei live in a very patriarchal society and he is a man, he is in a rare position where he doesn’t hold power over her in terms of their social hierarchy and overall relationship dynamic. Thats not to say that a man can’t be a victim of abuse even in a patriarchal society where the social structure favors him to be the one in power. Because while misogyny and male privilege is often tied with domestic violence, and used as tools to abuse female victims, they aren’t necessarily fundamental for abuse to happen. And reversing the roles in this particular situation is interesting because it shows how much gender bias blinds people to the obviousness of their dynamic. As if a veil is lifted and you see what would be so easily identified if Jaime had been a woman and Cersei, a man. So let’s do that, lets reverse their roles.

Here are the Lannister twins. From an early age, they engaged in sexual interactions. One of the twins, the boy, from an early age impressed upon the other twin, the girl, that they belong together, are one soul in two bodies, they were born together so they will die together, that they are soulmates and actually one person. The girl of course, buys into all of that. This same twin, the boy, from an early age shows not only a dominant personality but also actions that speak of a flawed character. This twin brother sexually/physically assaulted their other sibling once for example (by twisting his penis when he was a baby). This twin brother, by age 12, murders his best friend because said best friend showed an interest in his twin sister. This twin brother seduces and manipulates his twin sister by spending an entire night having sex with his sister for the first time when they are teens, not allowing her to sleep properly the entire night so they have sex, while talking about how they will be separated forever if the twin sister doesn’t accept what he’s proposing, that is a small price to pay and his twin sister needs to agree in giving up her birthright so she can take a role where she will lose everything she was supposed to become (a mother, a wife and the lady of her house) so she can stay beside him forever in court. Like that, the twin sister will only ever be with him, no one else. All of that while the twin brother had always intended on actually marrying someone else, someone this twin brother has actually desired his entire life since he was young, even though said twin brother couldn’t stand the thought of someone wanting his twin sister (again, murdered his best friend because of that). And the only reason the twin brother didn’t marry the one he wanted was because they died. And in this whole scenario, the twin sister has no idea about these thoughts and feelings of his twin brother, she truly believes they are soulmates and love each other in a way they can’t be apart, she fully believes in everything her twin brother has said about them being one soul in two bodies etc etc.

The years pass, they carry on with their affair, the twin brother withholds and uses sex/affection as punishment/reward against his twin sister, establishes a dynamic where it must be always the twin sister coming to him, he will never do the same, actually gets off on the idea of his twin sister being so irresistibly attracted to him that she can’t take no for an answer and liked the power play this gives him. The twin brother was also frequently physically abusive towards the twin sisters, which she was used to and managed to diffuse the situation by turning the slaps she received into them having sex. Later in the story, when both twins have committed horrible horrible crimes for each other, with the twin sister going as far as almost killing a child to protect the twin brother, among other terrible stuff, the twin sister starts to show some personal growth after going through some hard times and becoming disabled. The twin brother insults the twin sister physically and verbally, and often actually assaults her physically by slapping her when she doesn’t agree with him or accepts doing something for him. The twin sister then finds out that the twin brother has actually lied to her, he has slept with other people many times even though he didn’t actually need it (he had other ways of making those people do his biding because of the position he holds in their social hierarchy), but he has done that anyway and lied to his twin sister about it, pretending that outside of a marriage he was forced to enter he had never been with anyone else outside his twin sister.

Are you gonna tell me this is a relationship where both parties hold equal power? Are you gonna tell me the twin sister is as much at fault as the twin brother? Because whoever says yes is absolutely lying, don’t even bother. And if you are honest with yourself and recognizes that no, you don’t think that and actually sees how the twin sister is clearly being abused, how is that different then when you reverse them to their original genders? Because I haven’t added anything there that is not present in their canon relationship. Notice I have addressed the privileges/lack of that come with their respective positions (the twin sister inheriting her house seat/ the twin brother forced into a marriage he doesn’t want). That the twin sister is often the one seeking the twin brother and not accepting a no from the twin brother. So if you can see this relationship for what it is when the genders are switched, how can you not do the same for a male victim?

Now something else to consider: There’s a big difference between toxic relationships vs abusive relationships. And a difference between a toxic person vs an abusive one. Not all toxic relationships are abusive; however, all abusive relationships can be considered toxic. In a toxic relationship, there is usually a lack of respect and a violation of boundaries. But this behavior occurs without the person or people involved even realizing they're doing it. They normalized it. They aren’t trying to control their partner.

Usually, every victim in an abusive relationship is a toxic person. Tbh, is almost impossible to survive an abusive relationship without becoming toxic yourself and engaging in toxic behavior. But that doesn’t mean the person is abusive, because a key element is missing: they aren’t intentionally doing that to exert control over the other party in the relationship.

All of this is to say: I honestly cannot understand how people have such a hard time understanding that, within the dynamics of Cersei and Jaime, she is the abuser. Mutual abuse doesn’t exist. Abuse is about an imbalance of power and control.

They are both incredible toxic people, there’s no denying that. Possessive, jealous, engaged in some dubious sexual dynamic, violent… all of this. But only one of them tries to exert control over the other. Only one of them intentionally tries to dictate how the other should behave and intentionally harm the other when they don’t conform to what they want. Only one of them displays a pattern of behaviors used to gain or maintain power and control.

This is not to say Jaime is a wonderful angel who has never done anything wrong in his life. Is just to say that, within his relationship with Cersei, Jaime is the victim. He’s just not a perfect one.

So, no, I don’t think Jaime r*ped Cersei by coercing her into sex because their pre established dynamic within their relationship is so incredibly disturbing and toxic that Jaime coming to her, asking and begging and ultimately not accepting being denied is actually something that Cersei likes, and is used as a power play where she can exert control and dominate him. No, I don’t think Jaime and Cersei are mutually abusive because this doesn’t exist and even if it did, he is not the one trying to exert control towards her.

Jaime Lannister is a toxic person. Jaime Lannister is a victim of abuse. Cersei Lannister is an abuser. Period.

Shifting log #1

Hello everyone, my name is Renèe and I am a shifter for 4 years, I was pretty much inactive for 3 years after my 1st but now I'm back

So I discovered shifting way back in 2020 on tiktok (lmao not rlly new) but switched to youtube, the only one shifter I trusted on youtube was Kristeau, her videos helped me a lot and her Diabolik lovers story time are funny as hell, I really recommend watching her when you're just starting out

Back in 2020, I did try shifting, the first few times (no method, just subliminals), it did not work but I did come close when I felt like floating and itching. There were also instances in the 3 years I wasn't actively trying to shift at all that I felt symptoms like while sleeping, I feel like I'm getting pulled into somewhere but due to me being a scaredy cat, also got occasional sleep paralysis, could not move, only my eyes, I tried my hardest to wake up and woke up in my CR. Its no surprise tho, considering you shift everyday in your life

Warning Ahead: Full of Yapping

Example of that is picking a choice, would you rather eat an egg or eat a bird? If you picked the egg, then you are currently in a reality where you did choose the egg but there is a reality that co-exists with that one wherein you picked to eat the bird. It also reminds me of a video in youtube about a theory about the universe spliting in two and making infinite possibilities every time a choice is made. Interestingly, there is also the butterfly effect wherein a small choice, seemingly insignificant can make something big happen in the future, amazing right?

We also have the Schrödinger's cat wherein there was a 50/50 percent chance the cat inside the box was dead or alive & the only way to know is if you open the box, or to put it more simply, the cat is both dead or alive until you open the box, going back to the parallel universe, there are two realities where the cat is dead and the other one is where its alive. And if we based it on quantum immortality/multiverse theory, there must be a version of you who is alive/dead as well

One more thought hehe, the time ratio thingy (Ex: CR = 1 Year & DR = 5 minutes) we have in our scripts when we shift, it also reminds me of the twin paradox wherein if we have twins that were born at the same time & are the same age and I send one twin to space in a speed of 99.9% light, the twin from space ages slower than the one in earth, twin-from-space's clocks ticks 4.5% as fast as the one on earth, so if twin-from-space comes back to earth after 5 years, he has only aged 5 years older but the one-on-earth twin has already aged 110 years older.

Last part, I also saw a little post by someone and it got me thinking. There are people who almost/died, some claim they reincarnated/born again, some claim they saw nothing, just quiet and a black void, some also claim to see heaven/hell (scary tbh.) and I kind of kept wondering if they shifted to somewhere where they assumed they'd end up, depending on their beliefs

*this is some speculation but its not without backing. the real queen yharnam can summon two ghostly clones of herself who can be distinguished from the real one because they are not pregnant. the one you meet before mergo poofs like the ones she summons during her fight if you hit her.

i guess i don't really understand how fire works in the bloodborne universe, really. laurence's burning body could be read as metaphorical but none of the fires in yharnam go out easily. old yharnam is still burning, somehow. some pthumerican enemies can cast hadoukens for no reason, for example: the pthumerian elder, those chalice dungeon enemies that look like the chapel dweller, the keeper of the old lords and their horrible dog, the shadows of yharnam............lady maria..........!

the only one i can think of that breaks this pattern are the beast possessed soul and the loran cleric who tries to kill you IRL by lighting your PS4 on fire with his AOE attack. i know i post this all the time but please watch this 30 second clip of this asshole casting nuclear winter on this poor hunter

I GOT A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH YOU PEOPLE

I recently saw these two theories on Reddit, which got posted by two separate people four years ago, and I really wanted to share them. (I cropped out the names because I didn’t want to risk bringing unwanted attention to the users.) I think the first one about Stan and especially Ford having undiagnosed ADHD and ASD respectively, are basically fanon at this point. However, some may still disagree, even now.

The second theory though? That one really piqued my interest, seeing as I’ve never seen such a theory about the show put forward either. If nothing else, it would most likely be a very controversial one if it ever became popular. 

Like the one who came up with that one said, the theory definitely falls apart once you’ve actually finished the show. What about before that though? Does that person have a point then? Based on what I know/what I’ve read on the subject, the writers most likely just hadn’t finalized their conception of Ford yet and/or weren’t allowed to make his existence too obvious (even though a lot of people during/after season 1′s airing already guessed that Stan had a secret twin anyway).

Even so, the idea that Ford may have originally been meant to be a part of Stan’s imagination is so wildly intriguing to me and I have thoughts on how it is that could have been playing out all along, before they neared the end of the series and instead ‘solidified’ Ford’s existence in the world. But it’d be pretty hard to try and find obvious proof for. Probably.

What are others’ thoughts though? Anyone have any?

The Age of Wood and the Winds of Change

In Elden Ring the "Ruins" type structures are some of the most enigmatic to me. I have recently found an in-game strategy for reading the environment that may help shed more light on what they're all about, but first I have some thoughts that I want to record. This is a post about intersectionality between Elden Ring and other FromSoft games, using meta information to delve into the hidden distant past.

I was going through the Woodfolk ruins because I had some cleaning up to do there and found something that sparked a thought:

From the vantage point at the Altus Bloom behind this Wormface boss there is an optical illusion of a twister in a doorframe of the nearby ruins. That this can be seen from the location of an item that can be interacted with is important - the environment designers deliberately placed something in this spot to draw attention. The appearance of the twister recalls to me a theory proposed by another person on Reddit that Farum Azula was once located above the Woodfolk ruins and was picked up by the twister and moved around. But more importantly I realized that the last time that I spent a significant amount of time in this area I had not thought to look for hints in my spreadsheet.

Intro to The Spreadsheet

I don't think I've discussed on tumblr my FromSoft spreadsheet. The basics is that it's where I collect various date-based information that corresponds to the release days of various FromSoft games. It has sortof been evolving over time into the present monstrosity. First I started with the astrological zodiac, because I noticed some astrology trends in Elden Ring itself, and reading the synopses of Armored Core games there are enough hints to piece together an astrological timeline across the games. There is confirmation of this in ACV where you fight through the zodiac as enemies. Then I had the idea to search for whether anyone had noticed a zodiac trend in Sekiro and as it turns out 8 of the 12 Chinese zodiac animals are represented - and once again they match to release years of Armored Core games including matching elements (i.e. 3 visible Folding Screen Monkeys matches to 3 AC games in the year of the Wood Monkey - 2004). In fact, 2004 is practically a convergence point for all of the weird meta stuff that traces back to it.

Sometime later I saw a post where someone was speculating about numerology in Elden Ring and learned that numerology has ties to tarot. Coincidentally, the major arcana has 22 entries when "The Fool" is counted twice as both 0 and 22, which is exactly the span of time between Eternal Ring (2000) and Elden Ring (2022). So I added that to the spreadsheet, where 2004 is "the Emperor" and 2005 is "the Hierophant". And when anomalies started converging on 2004, I noticed that April 1, 2004 (April Fool's Day) provides a unique opportunity to set up a second lagging-behind tarot track. And it also happens to fall within the Gemini era of AC games, so it's the ideal time for an imposter zodiac to split off as well. Silent Line: Armored Core (2003) is about the discovery of a second underground twin city. Armored Core: Nexus sees the short-lived emergence of a new corporation who had uncovered an ancient superweapon - a spin on Gemini's trait of "communication between the surface and the underworld". This seems to create the headache that is AC games following the "false" but flashy Western Zodiac while the vibes-based vedic astrology continues to be expressed subtly, but lagging behind as it does in the regular calendar year. I have guessed that this is where twin cities Nokron and Nokstella enter the picture in Elden Ring - and their development of the mimic tear.

And what ties this all off nicely is that FromSoft axed 14 game franchises by the end of 2004. With the benefit of hindsight it can be seen that only two (2) game franchises were receiving new entries both before and after 2004: Armored Core and the newly acquired Tenchu. There was a deliberate change in direction this year.

At some point I had a thought to check the moon phase for every game FromSoft has ever released (in my defense - they really like referencing the moon), and found exactly 4 dates that they had ever released a game on either a new moon or full moon. Three of these dates are in 2004. The single instance in another year is Forever Kingdom on June 21st, 2001 - the date of a solar eclipse. The same eclipse occurred in 2020 without a single release from FromSoft directly - only Demon's Souls remake by Bluepoint. The Shadow of the Erdtree is scheduled for June 21, 2024. Applying a bit of math, this should be the year of the 20th major arcana "Judgement", which was in 2020 on the main track.

Basically, it is my belief that Elden Ring has a built in Augmented Reality Game component that can be uncovered by paying attention to what the writers pulled as inspiration from past games. Such as a past Age of Wood that correlates directly to the era of the Woodfolk Ruins. See below screenshots for what this data collection looks like for the years of 2004 and 2005, which were the years of the Wood Monkey and Wood Rooster:

Twisters and the Winds of Change

Following the trail of the Wood Rooster led me to discover that I am missing yet another column of data. I was on a wiki binge about the exact sequence of events at the end of WWII and from an article on the Potsdam Agreement I noted that Potsdam is on the Havel River. "Havel the Rock" is a character in Dark Souls who I was certain was inspired by Taurus because of his rocky, mountain-like design, and hoof-like feet and proximity to the Taurus demon. But actually looking at the name "Havel" it's a Gaul word that means "rooster", which would fit him to the year of the Rooster. And indeed his helmet resembles a cock's comb. But that made no sense for the spreadsheet - there is nothing "Taurus" about the year of the Wood Rooster in terms of the AC game matchup and there is no year of the Earth Rooster within the history of FromSoft. So failing all other options I turned to tarot. I knew very little about tarot before this little project, and did not realize that there is also zodiac tied to tarot suits. And sure enough, the zodiac attached to The Hierophant is Taurus. Strengthening the association, this is also probably why Havel's backstory has him as being a Bishop - the Heirophant is otherwise known as "the High Priest". Havel is known to hate the magic of Seath the Scaleless - I wonder if this hints that Seath is the Magician of the 2nd tarot track...

So why was I looking at the Potsdam Agreement? The last game of 2004 was Metal Wolf Chaos. Of all of the games in their extensive library, FromSoft chose to bring back this game in response to popular demand. And of all of the dates to release a bombastic game about an over-the-top American President carelessly using weapons of mass destruction they chose August 6, 2019 - anniversary of the day that an atomic weapon was first detonated over Japan. I don't believe in coincidences when it comes to the release dates of FromSoft games, at least not in the past few years. Bloodborne: The Old Hunter's DLC released on November 24, 2015 - the birthday of Carlo Collodi, author of Pinnochio. This DLC sees the appearance of Lady Maria in the flesh, after previously meeting a doll fashioned in her image in the base game. I can only imagine that the developers of Lies of P sussed out some part of what FromSoft is up to and used it for their own Bloodborne-inspired game. Pinnochio is an impudent boy made of wood, perhaps what might be described as a Wood Monkey even. And once again, the Armored Core series pulls through in confirming that yes, FromSoft did have Pinnochio in their back pocket dating far earlier than you'd think. In Armored Core 2 (2000) and Armored Core 2: Another Age (2001) the corporation Balena has an "inside weapon" part called Puppet which "fires a dummy for enemy radar". Baleen is an archaic word for whale, from French - as in the whale that swallows the wooden puppet. The worm face in the Woodfolk ruins is not actually looking directly at the Minor Erdtree - it is looking at the pine tree in front of the tree. Pinocchio means "pine eye".

As an observation of how this ripples forwards, 2024 is the Year of the Wood Dragon.

We're still a few meanders away from my point about the twister. In Metal Wolf Chaos, the president of the United States of America Michael Wilson has a lady on the coms named "Jodi". A charming gal who talks in his head and tells him what to blow up next on this whirlwind of destruction. I think it's a perfectly fitting origin for Marika ('murica) and her loyal shadow the Metal Wolf Maliketh. It's strange, isn't it, that Maliketh and Gurranq are the same, but displaced in time? Well, Metal Wolf Chaos (2004) exists beyond time trapped on the ancient device of Xbox Japan. Metal Wolf Chaos XD (2019) is much closer to the present, hence Gurranq's presence in the Bestial Sanctum. And maybe take a look at the white haired protagonist of Tenchu Dark Shadow (2006) - was not Marika's only use for her shadow as a place to keep Destined Death? I don't really think it matters if FromSoft always had the meta-narrative in mind when they picked up the Tenchu series or if this is a new lens applied with hindsight - it fits on the timeline.

Is it a weak connection that they both have white hair and hold sword in reverse grip and are Shadows? Maybe so, but I will grasp these straws

But Michael Wilson and Jodi are imposters - they are mimics of something older. That's what everything about the Gemini twins and the Wood Monkey and the new April Fool's Tarot are hinting at. Even on a surface level, it's a self-parody of the Armored Core format. And so the search continues with Armored Core (1997) where the major corporations are "Chrome" and "Murakumo Millenium" (murakumo means "a gathering of clouds"). The game has 29 template emblems, some of them generic and some silly and some obtuse, and the one that is most relevant for this train of thought is "Comet Judy". The name Judy being a very close corruption of Jodi. There are 3 leading candidates for what this emblem could be a reference to:

The Yokosuka D4Y Suisei (彗星) - a Japanese WWII dive bomber with a name meaning "Comet" but which the Western Allied reporting name was "Judy". A Suisei plane was used by 3 men in one of the final kamikaze ("divine wind") attacks by Japan in the hours after surrender on August 15, 1945.

A song called "St. Judy's Comet" which is a lullaby from father to son by Paul Simon (most famously from the musical duo Simon and Garfunkel), released on May 5, 1973.

Judy Garland - an actress who is most famous for playing Dorothy, a "good witch who fell from a star" in 1939's Wizard of Oz. Comets are not the same as shooting stars - that would be meteor fragments - but the actual art of the emblem does show a star.

The first two candidates will come up when you search "Comet Judy". And honestly, I would not count them out as being relevant in some manner (May 23 was the Japanese release date of Lost Kingdoms 2 in 2003 - and the ideal of a lost lullaby about a magical dreamland saint has some appeal there). The third only really makes sense with context clues. After all, there are dozens of Oz references in Elden Ring, and a handful here and there in Demon's Souls (the Twister-like shape of the Old Monk's Robe - perhaps a connection to think on between "Monk" and "Monkey") and Dark Souls (the "Homeward" miracle - good witches do "miracles", according to the 1939 film). They had to be inspired by something. And finally this is where the twister comes in. The one that picks up Dorothy's house and carries it off to Oz and a journey to find the wizard at the Emerald City. Another corporation of AC2 and AC2: Another Age is called "Emeraude", a French word meaning "Emerald". And after getting into the lore of the Wizard of Oz is when I start realizing that the twister can be a recurring phenomenon - The Wizard also arrived to the Land of Oz on a twister and it was through his influence that the Emerald City was constructed. Emeraude is a rival corporation to Balena - who is the corporation that manufactures the Moonlight laser sword in the AC2 generation of games. Luckily, following the guiding moonlight is where I find another solid point of comparison anchoring the Woodfolk Ruins twister to the years 2004-2005. Armored Core Nexus (2004) and Armored Core Nine Breaker (2005) are follow-ups to AC3. And in this generation of games the Moonlight laser sword is manufactured by the corporation "Mirage". As in Elden Ring's "Mirage Rise", which is found right next to the Woodfolk Ruins.

Here's another wrinkle to all this though. I know that the twister in the Woodfolk Ruins that I believe to be corresponding to Metal Wolf Chaos is not the first time a numen has fallen from a star/comet, or been carried in on the wind, or whatever. Both because of the pre-existence of the Emeraude Corporation, and because the name and context of Chelona's Rise tells the story of a witch who had a house dropped on her - and I think that Chelona's Rise pre-dates Mirage Rise by the nature of their puzzles. The question becomes: how many times before and after have the winds of change blown through, and when exactly were the other times? I think that there have been at least 4 twisters, as demonstrated by the 3 smaller twisters that can be seen accompanying timeless Farum Azula from the disconnected area through the Four Belfries "Crumbling Lands" portal. For the view of Farum Azula seen from the Isolated Divine Tower there is only one single twister seen spinning at the centre of the ruins - what possible meaning does this have?

The next lead that I have is Wyndham Ruins. Sometimes I'll idly do a "this day in history" kind of search for the various available dates. And it happens that July 10th is both the release date of the original Armored Core and the birthday of sci-fi writer John Wyndham, whose most famous work is The Chrysalids (as in how Roderika describes the Grafted Tarnished), and it's a story about a post-apocalyptic future where women are ostracized for giving birth to mutants. Wyndham also wrote The Day of the Triffids which is described as "After most people in the world are blinded by an apparent meteor shower, an aggressive species of plant starts killing people". And also The Midwitch Cuckoo "in which the women become pregnant by brood parasitic aliens". So, some interesting parallels there. For the Cuckoo in particular, this meshes with the knowledge that it's an old motif in the Lands Between - even the Moon of Nokstella has two cuckoos perched at the top of it.

Also notable that Wyndham Ruins is infested with deathroot. An aggressive species of plant that grows like a Cancer - which is one of the zodiac that spans across the "Age of Wood" according to my timeline project.

There’s a Reddit post on the wings of Fire subreddit from 4 days ago asking wether or not Peril is trans(for anyone who doesn’t know, it’s a really popular headcanon that either Peril or her twin Sky is trans since they hatched from the same egg and are different genders. Even though isn’t canon as of right now it might eventually be since iirc Tui has said that she heard about the headcanon and was gonna talk to someone about maybe making it canon and if so how to be good at representation) so people went back and forth in the replies. And by back and forth I mean there were like 20 comments removed by time I saw it for being transphobic, someone was running around telling people that lgbt+ headcanons were obsessing over the identity and being creepy and making it harder to integrate into society and be accepted, people were trying to explain the fact it was a headcanon based off how birds and reptiles work irl, someone went on a mini rant about it not mattering since fantasy- scratch that. A few people did, someone was saying ‘she is’ to everyone and getting downvoted as close to hell and back as you can be on that subreddit I guess since it isn’t canon, someone thought you have to have surgery to be trans and was confused because dragons, plenty people forgot they’re implied to be identical twins- only different in appearance due to fire absorption, and some people were saying Sky was instead.

Clocky And The Supreme Yapping Session (AT: Clocky’s “Lost Media”)

Fair warning that this post might be long, as I’m discussing what I remember and shit. This is my own personal stuff that I’d consider “lost media”, basically “childhood” mysteries of mine or whatever.

Circles in the Stream

This book was the one that inspired the whole post. It’s been one of my biggest mysteries for years, something I was trying to figure out that has always been in the back of my mind.

So, I remember this book from early elementary school. For context, my elementary school had book swaps- you brought in sum books and got to take others. This was likely where I got this one.

I used to be really obsessed with it and would draw the creatures in the book. My mom stole this book from me and gave it to my twin sister (despite the multiple HELL NOs I gave her) to bring to the book swap and I never saw it again. Remind me to punch my sister whenever I see her next?

So, I remembered this book VERY VERY vaguely. Just the cover and an aspect of the title. I originally thought it was ‘Ripples’ something. I remembered the fact it looked early 2000’s-ish and kinda anime girl style? Also that somewhere in the book, it described each of the creatures in detail.

I finally couldn’t take it anymore and last night I did a whole bunch of deep research to find it- otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to sleep. I would’ve used the Tipofmytongue subreddit, except for the fact that I don’t use Reddit. It was a Buzzfeed article about early 2000’s book fairs in the end that saved my ass. (Remember those? The good times lol.)

I remembered this entry very vaguely. I used to be in Girl Scouts around this time, so that’s where the diary is from.

I also remember what happened here too- I was in bed or something, tryna go to sleep, and it was a VERY nasty arguement downstairs. the kitchen. As little Clocky described it, what I remember the most is them “saying the f word all night.” Meaning, more like SCREAMING IT at the top of their lungs.

Baby’s First Fanfic!!! 🥹

It was in a diary similar to the F Word one. I cannot find this one for some reason.

It was a story that I didn’t think of as a fanfic at that time- in fact, I don’t think I even really knew what fanfics were at that time.

I remember that it was FNAF, ofc. And that Bonnie might’ve been the villain. Bonnie was always the villain in my stories and games for some reason. I remember this specific scene with batteries? Maybe a pit of them? Might’ve been batteries for the animatronics.

The Divorce Diary

That’s all I can really call this one. It wasn’t even a diary, just a single page in a black notebook.

This was also early elementary Clocky’s, maybe late? Around 4th-5th grade. I would find it again, but the only problem is that Ma has a giant box of unused notebooks, and Clocky had a penchant for grabbing them and hoarding them. I have no idea now, maybe I even threw away that one.

You see, at this time, my parents’ marriage was VERY rocky for some reason. I remember one particular night, they were gonna get a divorce. Ma was slumped against the wall in my sister’s room and we were both here. She was crying and shit. I was unaffected- literally just sitting there eating Pirate Booty. She was telling us all about it and showing us places she was gonna rent and go live, and I think even giving us options for who we’d wanna live with. There’s… so many problems with this, now that I think about it???

My Ma had encouraged me to keep a diary after that. I tried it once, in that black notebook, and never picked it up again. I’m both glad and sad about that.

On one hand, it would’ve been super dark. Dad liked hitting me and calling me names and shit even back then, and this was around the time where I really really wanted to kill myself the first time around. Yeah. Elementary school Clocky wanted to kill herself.

But then I would also know for sure that I wasn’t tripping balls, that these things really happened. That he really did and said some of that shit.

“I never thought having another family would go like this.” - My dad, in the middle of an argument/confrontation with little Clocky and Frankie. Oh yes, he def said this to our faces. Little Clocky was a brat, a fucking piece of shit, but gosh, sometimes I wish someone had held her and sung her a lullaby or something. Not tell her to keep stuff inside the household, or tell her she has a penchant for dramatics when she showed them in writing what her dad did to her.

Eddie is coming down with the cold as well, but is just kinda napping on Steve’s shoulder as he plays a chill game or browses Reddit with chat. Sneezing, seeing people saying they got sick from being around a lot of others at the con (shaking hands and hugging = germs) and Steve’s just like “we can all be sick together! 😄”

It’s been three days since Steve and Eddie got back home from StreamCon. Steve felt bad for being offline so long and decided to do a lowkey stream.

“Hey guys. Sorry for being offline all weekend for StreamCon…and then being offline another two days because I have an ear infection. Umm the graphics on most games make me dizzy right now so I think I’m gonna just scroll through Reddit.”

StreamMachine: Is Eddie sleeping?

GamesNGoats: Aw not the dizzy graphics…

Steve skimmed the chat, “oh Eddie? Yeah. He’s just resting.”

The older man was sat next to Steve, wrapped in a blanket and resting his head on Steve’s shoulder. “Someone gave me his cold. All that hand sanitizer and I still couldn’t be spared.”

“Oh great, you got him doing the dramatics now.” Steve shook his head. “I figured I’d browse the AITA feed.”

Eddie leaned closer so he could read the posts over Steve’s shoulder. Steve read aloud:

“I, f(24) accidentally kissed my boyfriend’s brother, m(25). In my defense they’re identical twins and tried to prank me. It obviously worked and I kissed his brother thinking it was my boyfriend. I thought my boyfriend would laugh because it was his prank in the first place but he actually got really mad at me and claims that I’m ‘cheating’. Am I the asshole???”

The chat popped off immediately.

HaroldGames: Wtf bro if you don’t want her kissing your brother then don’t switch places???

“The jury is in. NOT the asshole.” Eddie mumbled, obviously tired.

“Agreed. That’s so weird I mean why would you try to trick her if you knew that was going to-”

“H’tsschiew! TschIEW!! AK’sschEW!” Eddie ducked quickly into Steve’s shoulder, sneezes spraying down his back.

“Jesus Eddie! Really?? On my nice shirt?”

“Sorry. snrFF… I have one. Am I, Eddie - male, 28 - the asshole for snF sneezi’g on my boyfriend - male, 27 - after HE got mbe sick this weeke’d?”

Eddie rubbed at his nose as chat replies came flooding in.

OrionsPlayhouse: I mean it was kinda gross…

Eddie, still resting his head on Steve’s shoulder, turned to face his boyfriend, blasting him with sarcasm, “See? If anyones the asshole it’s you, Patient Zero.”

“Sorry guys.” Steve began, “Join the stream with your soup and tea and stuff. We can all be sick together!”

Steve grinned but Eddie raised an eyebrow at him.

“I don’t thi’gk that’s as fun as you thi’gk it sounds babe.”

Was Zarya Being the Twin Expected?

I made a post on Reddit about whether or not people predicted being the twin instead of Proxima. 2 people (including myself) didn't see that twist coming, while 3 people saw it coming. I will talk more about what I thought about the twist, including the reasons I was surprised.

First, I was leaning towards Zarya being the twin before the events of "Three Mysticons and a Baby", pretty much because that's what I'd have rathered. I was just getting used to Proxima, while Zarya was (and still is) my favourite Mysticon. It made sense for me to want her to be the twin. However, when Arkayna saw that Proxima was the twin, I was convinced that was right.

The first reason I thought that was due to the show itself. It didn't seem like the show was the type to give too many surprises, so when the show outright said Proxima was the twin, I took that as the truth. After all, another time they did a plot twist (Tazma being the shadow mage) it was fairly obvious though similar appearances and having the same voice.

The second reason was the impression I got from Mrs. Sparklebottom. Maybe I'm naive, but she seemed like a sweet and gentle lady, so I did not expect her to lie. There was also no reason for the decoy twin to be Proxima (it's revealed later that Proxima was the first one she grabbed to fool Nova Terron, but that wasn't revealed at the time), so it seemed like a bit of a coincidence.

The third reason was Zarya's lack of reaction to being in the orphanage. I figured since they made a point of Zarya being turned into a baby, there would have been some hint that she was there before. Perhaps Zarya would find something familiar, or Mrs. Sparklebottom would mention how the new baby looks like another one she's taken care of. I didn't see any of that, despite looking for it, so I figured that it was because she was never there.

The fourth reason was that, if Zarya was the twin, I didn't know what role Proxima would have. I was certain that she wasn't there just to be a decoy, but at the time, I didn't see her turning evil. So, Proxima being the twin made sense because so she has a role.

I have to admit that, if I looked more closely at the baby, it was Zarya. The baby looks like Zarya. Also, she does resemble Queen Goodfey. If I analyzed the baby's appearance more than the plot, I would have said it was Zarya.

Overall, I like the twist. Zarya made for a great twin, and I honestly don't know what the show would have been like if Proxima was the twin. Also, Proxima turning evil over the heartbreak of not finding her family was done brilliantly, and gave probably the most interesting main villain of the show.

Been seeing a lot of articles recently about a theory posted both here and Reddit that Eddie on “Stranger Things” might actually be Ten that we saw in the season 4 premiere and I never thought of this till now but it could totally work!!! :D We don’t know what happened to his parents and he’s living with his uncle, he wears that watch over where the tattoo would be and could explain some of his other tats, why he had a buzz cut in middle school, and he didn’t seemed phased at all learning about Eleven and all the craziness with the Upside Down and accepted it. We never did see for sure if Ten was dead and Dr. Brenner did survive too. It’d been an awesome twist and the possibilities of what could happen next. Plus, reading the “Six” and “Into the Fire” graphic novels we know Three, Eight, Nine and Nine’s powerless twin all escaped a year earlier and are still out there and been wondering if they’ll all come together in the final season to defeat One/Vecna so Eddie being Ten could play into that.

I literally love you and your account. Percy deserved so much better, he just didnt know better. He was FED UP. It wasnt intentional but to be honest it was slight emotional abuse from the weasleys to him. I love the family but percy dosent deserve alot of the hate he gets.

I know cause I've had a family who's mocked me, and it's not funny when the jokes start to attack HIS PRIDE. his prefect and head boy badge. It wasnt funny anymore. There are differences between telling your confident sibling "yo you look ugly" because you know they dont care and will insult you back because they love themself enough, to calling your insecure sibling ugly and thinking it's the same even when its not.

Oh god ao3. Let me tell you I went through 260 works tagged Percy Weasley and most of them weren't about him obviously.

Percy just cares about his work and in the books he's just made fun of because of that? And I don't understand why?

Let the boy care about his interests without being made fun of! And it's not only his siblings it's his father too! Which just fuels my rage further because Arthur just... WHY?

And don't get me started on the stupid game. God they just butchered his character and everything. First of all Percy isn't that obsessed with his rat. Stop it. Ron was more obsessed with Scabbers than Percy.

Next, Percy is literally not the type of guy to go snooping around his brother's business. Seriously the twins are more likely to be nosy than Percy. Percy would rather be studying.

Also Idk what else but somewhere I saw Percy criticising Charlie and it makes absolute no sense because he never criticized the twins and just HE HAS NO GLASSES either.

I hate the game.

Honestly the Weasley sibling behavior is fine until they come to Percy because when they interact with Percy, it's always insults. I've heard Ron insulting Percy more times than necessary at all.

I mean sending dragon dung to your brother's new job. What the hell were the twins thinking?

And the worst part is Percy thought it was part of the job so he actually..... uggggghhhhh.

I get too frustrated. I should make another post of why Percy is not boring. At all.

On the theory of El having a twin sister

So, i was rewatching 'The lost sister' episode and this called my attention:

The word 'Glypho'.

Now, I'm Spanish, so this might have a completely different meaning i just don't know about, because phonetically speaking this word sounds exactly as it does in Spanish, glifo, but a quick Google search told me the right English form for it is Glyph, but! Just bear with me for a little longer, just in case.

So, what's a Glypho?

Etymologically, it comes from the Greek γλυφή, glyphē, "carving," and the verb γλύφειν, glýphein, "to hollow out, engrave, carve". A glyph is an engraved or, by extension, written or painted sign. In archaeology, a glyph is a carved or inscribed symbol. It may be a pictogram or ideogram, or part of a writing system such as a syllable, or a logogram.

There are a bunch of different definitions all around the internet, but this is the one that fits better in here, even if I have to stretch it a little: a glyph is a graphic representation that conveys a meaning.

So, when I saw it, I paused and thought "what a strange word to have in there" and then "maybe they want us to look for something?" and then "okokok. maybe they're saying 'look for the glyph'?"

So I tried to look for the glyph:

But I honestly couldn't pinpoint anything revealing in the scene?. Sure, there's a huge neon sign just right there, (maybe a 'keep your eyes open now?') but it didn't tell anything to me, neither anything else surrounding El and Kali. But then, oh, then. Then I saw there was a tattoo on Kali's ear. But, it was kind of shadowed, in this scene, so I wasn't really able to make it out. And that's when, ofc, I ran to the internet and there's. where. I. saw. THIS.

Did I just read the word twins?

As in there's a possibility there are two Elevens?

Because, you know, toy cars rarely go in the direction you want them to (rarely= never), and these two are perfectly following the rainbow lines. It's like they're being... telekinetically directed, or something.

With this in mind, let's come back to Kali's tattoo:

It's a fishbone.

An upside-down fishbone.

Cut by four perpendicular lines that, according to Eastenbricks's, would symbolize four numbers 1s.

Shaped as an arrow.

That point. To El. Constantly. Like a neon sign indeed, like 'Hey! Hey! Pssst. C'mon look over here. There are two of this girl'.

Now. What about a closer look at that graffiti?

Yep. There's a mamma in there. I know it's probably just a coincidence but. Listen.

Kali and El... they're not having just any conversation in here. It's already been settled that they recognize each other as sisters, and Kali's talking about how now she feels whole, now 'Like a piece of me was missing, and now it's not' and talks about how El's mom knew that they belong together.

But,

El didn't remember Kali. Only saw her in her mother's memories, same as she saw herself.

This can be perfectly explained by how little she was, ofc, but what if our El is not actually Kali's El?

What if it's her twin?

What if, while Jane's mom is showing her those images so she can find Kali, the narrative is telling us a different thing? Because El does find Kali, but doesn't stay with her, and we can interpret that as Kali not really being that 'lost sister' El is meant to find.

I know there are more than a few flaws to this crazy theory. Believe me, I know. Those kids over the rainbow do are old enough to remember they have a twin. And if El's mom gave birth to twins, she didn't seem to know. But science loves studies involving twins, and even more twins raised separately, so it's possible they had more than one set of twins at the lab, and also that they'd run different kinds of experiments with them.

It definitely looks like there's more than one rainbow room as this amazing @awhstrangerthings post points out. And, yk, the Duffers are twins.

And! I guess now's when you tell me there was an 80s famous drug called Glypho and this is just me being weird and that I saw too much X-files as a child (I did). But I'm gonna just leave this in here and, just in case, go bet five dollars with someone about it.
