Sorry took a while to write this! Had to make him a banner and try to not mess up his personality.

Synopsis: Nobody had expected it. A huge army of giants from Jötunheim attacked Asgard with full force. You were ready to die protecting your home, but Thor wouldn’t let that happen.

You had just left the castle for some fresh air and to explore the lower parts of Asgard alone. Normally you never left the castle. However, Forsetti had tried to stop you from leaving which left you confused but you didn’t listen to him. Did you really need permission? Thor wasn’t anywhere and he would hesitantly let you have your own space if you wanted to be alone, the same with him. He liked his personal space but he never said no to you if you wanted to be by his side. However, today was odd because you had no idea where he was. This wasn’t new to you, he always disappeared for long periods of the day. Being the wife of Thor meant other duties within the castle and getting pestered around the castle by Forsetti or other servants. You rarely saw Loki or Odin which was a good thing.

You wanted to get out after hours of being cooped up in the castle bored and the cats that hung around the room didn’t help much. Thor normally always told you it was better if you’d stay in the castle where it’s safe. He was always quiet and didn't mind ramblings, yet your presence seemed to calm every ounce of his heart and mind.

Your marriage was arranged and neither of you could tolerate each other in the beginning but slowly you both grew attached over time. You were quite the tsundere in the beginning throwing tantrums when things didn’t go your way. He admired how you were hard to control and was the quiet one in the marriage. When a few guards had tried to harm you and that was when he snapped and killed them.

As you were looking at some of the stores and the people walking by you, Asgard was truly a beautiful place outside of the castle. Many people didn’t recognize you as the wife of the strongest Norse god which was a good thing. Thor was known as the strongest warrior and god in Asgard.

Just as you were observing the townsfolk some people began to shout and scream. You looked up and saw maybe almost an army of a hundred of them launching an offensive attack on the capital of Asgard. You had stood in place not knowing if you should turn back or use your magic on them. You were just an ordinary sorcery goddess from a noble family. You had thought of the many times Thor told you to stay out of these situations. This wasn’t the first Asgard has been attacked but this army was much larger than any from the past. You left your staff back at the castle but this didn’t warrant you as useless yet.

Many buildings were being destroyed and this was unlike Thor to not be anywhere in sight. Smoke was filling the area from the city being trampled. You would most likely be outmatched by them. Many of the civilians were being killed and this was causing you to panic on the inside. Did you want to be killed like them? You kept wondering where Thor was and you felt stubborn needing him at this time.

You tried to push your way back, maybe you could grab your staff— but as you were leaving the area you were picked up by one of the giants. You were screaming and demanding to be put down.

It was no use, you began to panic and kept screaming. “Put her down!” You heard his voice shout making your heart beat harder in your chest. You rarely hear him yell or lose his self-control. The giant was stained in an instant and you found yourself falling and thought you were gonna hit the ground but the impact didn’t come. Your body crashed into his to make sure you took less fall damage. His arm wrapped around your back while the other held his hammer.

“Where the hell were you?!” You were pissed and puffing your cheeks out while tears were brimming at the corners of your eyes. You knew Thor was angry that you left the castle because of attacks like this could’ve happened anytime and no guard was with you. It angered him further but he calmed himself letting you down. He wanted to cut the rest of the giants but he needed to keep you safe first.

“Don’t ignore me!” You were being pulled into him and before you knew it, Thor had teleported you both back to the castle.

“Stay here, I’ll be back once I eliminate them.” He stopped himself before leaving. He saw how sad you were. He was itching to kill them all but he pulled your face to his and you were inches away from kissing him.

“I’ll make sure none of them would touch you again." He pressed his lips against yours as if this would be the last you’d see him. It was for a brief moment that you could understand his itch for a worthy fight. Many were risking their lives to save Asgard from falling to ruins. Thor held you close before pulling away to savour his thirst for blood from the giants running rampage.

“Make sure you come back,” you whispered while still being stubborn. This was a trait he liked about you. He smiled and didn’t respond before leaving the castle and you in the dark cold place.

-You doted on all three of your boys, pampering them with affection, always making sure they were fed, and being there for them if they needed you.

-Odin wouldn’t allow Ragnarok to go any further, as you were a human, he wasn’t risking you, even when Zeus offered to make sure you would be spared if humanity were to fall.

-Zeus arranged the tournament anyway, despite the 3 Norse gods voicing their displeasure with it, and Zeus just joked, “If you don’t like it, then fight for humanity yourselves!”

-Zeus was not laughing when Brunnhilde presented her roster, with all three of them on the list, fully ready to defend humanity, as they knew that not all humans were bad, just like not all gods were good.

-Faced with the prospect of facing Odin or Thor himself, Zeus was quick to call off the tournament, calling an emergency meeting to get everything fixed.

-When they arrived home that night, Loki flew over to you, “Mama~” you giggled softly, hugging him back, “I was wondering where you three were today.”

-They all froze, looking a bit panicked, as they didn’t tell you about the tournament, not wanting you to worry, but Loki just rubbed his cheek against yours, “Just had a lot of meetings with the other gods today.”

So maybe you broke into his lab, and maybe you made a mess while looking at these papers with endless numbers, but you're innocent! The place was already a mess when you got here, who cares if it got worse?

Nikola cares. Nikola cares a lot actually. You could tell by the way he looked at the lab, the grip he had on those papers, that fire in his eyes when he saw the lines of chalk mixing together.

But he didn't say anything, not a word. Why? This mess you proudly stood in the middle of seemed all for naught. That's fine, if you can't get to him with his work, you'll just have to try with your natural charm instead.

Nikola sat in front of his chalkboard after cleaning up the mess you created, prompting you to sit next to him watch in confusion at whatever nonsense he wrote down.

"Hellooo there you silly human! Whatever are you working on?" You grinned while looking at him. When Nikola didn't answer, you inquired again, "um, hello? Human! What are you doing?"

After the second attempt, you grew tired of him ignoring you and started to poke him shoulder, "heyyyy, I'm talking to youuu," beginning to draw out your words, you waved a hand in front of Nikola's face.

"Hey? Are you ok?? Humans don't normally do this..." Less annoyed and more concerned, you began to look for anything abnormal, something that could be the cause of him ignoring you.

He can't be so zoned in that I'm zoned out! He must be sick...can the dead get sick? You began thinking to yourself before an idea came to mind.

"If you won't acknowledge me willingly, I'll just make you!" You said before grabbing hold of Nikola's seat and moving it away from the chalkboard. He has to notice me now!

Nikola slowly lowered the chalk and turned around to face whoever dare interrupt him. "It's about time, human! You are by far the airheaded person I've met!" You ranted.

Letting out an exhale you looked at his confusion filled face, "now! Tell me what it is you're doing," you said looking back over to the board.

Nikola taking this as an opportunity to start spouting theories and hopefully possible ideas, starts to yap about some science that you don't understand. "Ah! Well you see this writing here is..."

You started to zone out after the first sentence...you didn't really think paying attention would do much help anyways. That was until you heard something electricity and lightning.

"What was that about the lightning?" You asked, "and make it easy to understand!" He laughed and spoke, "I need lightning to confirm a theory, but I don't have any..."

Perhaps the boredom of being a god has been getting to you lately, but being around this irritating human a bit longer wouldn't hurt, right? No, no it wouldn't, so let's do that.

"Well, you're in luck! I'm feeling nice today and have decided to help you." Creating lightning ain't that hard, I mean maybe not large scale like Thor or Zeus, but definitely something close enough.

And so this went on for months. Tesla meets a dead end and you offer a helping hand to him. You weren't supposed to stay this long, but he's basically your emotional support human now.

Today you ended up creating a small scale sun, sure maybe the brightness and heat had a bit adjusting, but it was pretty much the real thing.

"What do ya think of this, human? Haha!" You laughed, showing off what you were capable of. What you got in response was praise, "very fascinating! It's radiant, just like you," Nikola looked at you and smiled.

Your face began to heat up and you turned away, "well don't get too excited now, this is only the beginning!" You crossed your arms and looked at him with conviction.

"I look forward to what you have in store for me," Nikola responded before running his tests and theories.

Yeah, he's a bit more than an emotional support human now, but that's alright with you.

(A quick, sincere note for any readers- while I think many of the admin actions were... inadvisable at best, there's absolutely nothing wrong with being autistic or making an easy typo. I genuinely hope that whoever is behind the PawnSum account doesn't feel that way about themselves).

The secondary concern? Racism in a Thor: Ragnarok movie review, and being a "trimmer of life."

The tertiary concern? Account security.

Another reference to site breaches and administrator account hacks. Interesting.

Thus, the admin privileges of Gaycowboyrats were revoked. In a chorus of moderators and users with, again, suspiciously similar speech patterns, they were voted off the island wiki.

The next Admin Discussion Zone begins where A New Development left off- with the transgressions of Brazil86.

"Please don't vote to remove me. I can still help. He's gone, so everything should be fine."

What this tells me, and the questions it leaves me with:

The most obvious conclusion is that getting voted out of administrator power is a very real and present threat, even for active wiki administrators.

By "he's gone," I wonder if Brazil86 means Gaycowboyrats, the admin who was just removed a day before (though Gaycowboyrats does not use he/him pronouns, to my knowledge). If so, this implies a coordinated effort on the part of the other admins to remove Gaycowboyrats greater than what we saw in the forum.

Or is this referring to some other event yet unaddressed in the forums? Maybe this is about the aforementioned account security breaches?

The admins admit doubt, worry the rules are too restrictive, and yet Marth8204 still expresses optimism that the wiki will grow soon.

In the immortal words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and wiki administrator TwoMarshall, it is done.

The split was complete. No more season 2 material would be allowed on the original Dungeons and Daddies wiki.

Another wiki user, Notapissboy, attempts to talk sense into the moderators. They're informed in no uncertain terms that they, in fact, are the one being stupid here.

Nicoh Watonshing: "Are you an admin? No. Am I? No. I however understand when I am being too big for my britches."

An interesting framing. Do any of us really know when we're being too big for our britches?

After this, wiki forum discussion and activity appear to have moved past the drama. Perhaps they just moved on with their lives. Perhaps the only ones left to discuss things were the administrators who instigated the issue.

Only time will tell.

Even in the face of blatant personal attacks involving an insult to TwoMarshall's dead brother, administrators simply ask the culprit to not do it again. This is a strong tonal difference from their harsh responses to earlier reasonable critiques.

The last forum post as of writing was a discussion on removing an inactive moderator.

Have they exhausted the wiki drama well, or are they merely biding their time?

Maybe TwoRatner was right, and the wiki is cursed.

Maybe all of this was one person with dozens of sockpuppets, feeding message prompts through ChatGPT to stage a coup on a niche fandom wiki and enact an extremely detailed, drama-filled LARP.

Maybe multiple trolls wormed into an already-struggling wiki through a security breach and decided to destroy it from the inside.

No matter the cause of the current wiki issues, user Chekovsnakess was correct. This was the hubris of the administrator team: by making a wiki for the administrators and not the users, they made a wiki for no one.

This series has left me with more questions than answers: what security breaches happened and why? What did Brazil86 do to cause so much animosity among the other mods? Why go through this much drama in a fandom wiki, of all places?

While I may never know the answers, I do know that the Dungeons and Daddies fandom remains, on the whole, one of the most positive and engaged groups I've ever been a part of. That's what makes this drama stick out the most, in my opinion: it's so completely out of left field from the fandom I've known. The wiki may have quickly gone from bad to worse, but I trust the community of this show, and I know we have the potential to make something better.

And speaking of trusting this community, I'd like to take this chance to remind everyone to PLEASE not interact with the forums/wiki admins because of this!!! They may be making some questionable decisions, and I clearly enjoy deep dives on random internet drama as much as the next person, but please don't go trolling them in return.

We're better than that, y'all. Remember, "you have the freedom to do good."

On a personal note, I never expected this to go as far as it has: this evolved from people in the Patreon Discord wondering what was going on with the wiki and why it was splitting apart, to me sharing screenshots of funny non-sequiturs in the forums, to an entire Internet drama investigative journalism piece framed as a tragedy of wiki administrator hubris.

I've loved to see how much the community has rallied around this wiki situation- from people assisting me with research, to people offering to make dramatic readings or video essays out of my posts, to fans even working to create a new show wiki after this came to light. (More on that as it develops, hopefully!)

This is absolutely the kindest, most supportive fandom I've ever participated in, and everyone reading this has been a part of that. If our wiki is being brigaded by trolls, I sincerely hope that they realize the futility of what they're doing and move on with their lives. Several of them (assuming it's more than one person) have posted about really difficult personal circumstances. I hope that everyone involved gets the help they need and that they grow from this.

Tried some Silent Hill 2, but a bad pain day has overtaken me and I am not up for getting ambushed by Lying Figures two at a time, once in an enclosed space. (Fucking record store.) So instead, I'm going to liveblog TLOVM. I understand from the few spoilers I couldn't really avoid that I'm going to see a variation on one of my favourite scenes. So let's see.

(Also that is probably the only way they can actually convey that will-they-won't-they dance of frustrating nonsense they had going during a lot of the campaign while dealing with a shorter-form format like half-hour episodes.)

Well ... that could have been a more painful cliffhanger... But I'm grateful it wasn't because I can't handle more adrenaline tonight.

Binge watching Ragnarok today and I have to say this was the best season of the series. The ending was a bit confusing but I liked the part where Thor had to die for Magne to live. I saw my girl Isolde as well ( I missed her so much). Still, I am a big #maxa shipper and I just loved the fancy and powerful vibes Magne and Saxa had together. But overall, the season was good, better than the other two for me :))

It's a countdown!! (is it though?)

Last Thursday, thorofficial posted the first *oddly* related Loki thing from a series of such posts that had my kind spiraling, so welcome to me putting it here.

Last week, I thought we'd get a surprise and Thor would make an appareance in that post credit-scene already, but that wasn't the case. Instead, the clock started ticking.

This starts, as any other stories that we know of, at the beginning. It starts with two brothers that don't know a lot about the world and will, inevitably, shape it after the words of their father. They don't know they're not blood brothers yet, but are growing up as they were.

Loki is being told that they were both born to be king, and he believes it, not seeing the lie in beLIEve yet. But it is true, he too was born to be king, only not in Odin's eyes. Odin, aware of this fact...doesn't really care. Not enough to treat his sons equally, only enough to keep Loki as a bargain for when times ask for it. In the first Thor movie, Loki's villain arc begins, once with the pain of finding out who he truly is. More than that, in this first movie, we get to see her rage unfiltered. The "What happened on Earth that turned you so soft" and "Tell me", for example. He is the God of Mischief, but mischief has its dark side as well.

That being said, it makes sense for these messages (so to call them, if I may) to start here. And the clock!! It is at 7:00, and how many days were there left to the finale? Seven. But hang on, it's set to drop more!

We all remember all too well (2 h 23 minutes version) that The Avengers 2012 was the next movie Loki was in. Now we are one hour/ day closer - see how the clock is now at 6 instead of 7. And it's a double countdown: to the season 2 finale AND to Loki's journey on the original timeline.

The sequence that was posted is significant for the movie, it's when we first hear Loki say the famous: "I am burdened with glorious purpose". But with unusual blue eyes and sweat dripping off their forehead, not to mention the tripping and overall tiredness of these first scenes; this also seems to come with a lot of pain.

And ohhh lord, there is a lot of pain bottled up in their character in The Avengers movie. The desire for a throne (together with the need to prove himself), the revenge, the mentaining of the illusion by fear and hurt...the constant manipulation Th@nòs put him through.

But that could make a whole other post. The desire for a throne, remember? "What's wrong with wanting something, Loki?". Well, when he tried to get back promise to be king, something that was claimed and was, truly, his birth right, Loki was told his birth right was to die. It feels ME with rage to even picture that scene!!! Imagine being the one who is told this, then put in a cell "for the rest of your days", all after the battle of New York.

And this is the point where the clock in the caption is one hour/ day closer, at 5'oclock...

Ohhh well, isn't this a beautiful image? The "your savior is here", Loki and Thor having a more lighted relationship, even though Thor thought his brother was gone at the start of the movie. This is a very important sequence, because it shows Loki finally turning back to his brother and to Asgard, on a ship to take them away from the ultimate destruction of Ragnarok. It's the first time we get a glance at the God of a Mischief using her villanous traits more for the good side, and it's amazing. With the time being 4 o'clock, there are only 4 days separating us from the finale. Just like the flow of time: never feeling regular, sometimes I wish I was closer, sometimes farther away.

Oh, look at that! We're getting closer to midnight? But what does it mean? Once the clock strikes 00:00, what happens? Could it be hinting to a reset..?

In today's post, we saw Loki picking up that Tessaract and escaping the avengers, which would ultimately cause the events of Season 1. This is the last time we saw him on the original timeline and the first introducing TVA, or variant, Loki. This right here was their nexus event, the something that changed everything. According to the TVA, that wasn't supposed to happen, it was wrong. But under who's rules? Season 1's socialist-like approach, hwr's script, the flow of time itself, those are all behind us now. Everyone can write their own stories, right?

bonus: mini-theory

My theory is that, instead of altering the story, they're going to ask all their different variants in these specific points in time for help. What would they do? And imagine the power of all these Lokis, or making them work on a team! Either way, I see it as a captivating thought.

It's more likely that this episode will center more around the TVA than the past and the Sacred timeline. But even so, the countdown is still there!!! WHAT ARE YOU UP TO MARVEL

As long as everyone is fine by the end, I am happy.

So the thing about the comics is that the sexism seen is more of a biproduct of when the comics were written. Remember Thor comics started in the sixties. I don't think Asgard every meant to a sexist place, but if you sift through comics you properly while find characters say crappy things, but comics Asgard is meant to be pretty equal. Remember, they are unquestionable Gods in the comics with the power and authority that comes.

Even in the movies it is something a bit more subtle. Like, people aren't like Loki's girly and I don't him, more like Loki is someone who is exists as a quieter person who avoids conflict in a boastful and war loving a culture. Think even today in our world a man who likes poetry and the theater and cares a lot about his appearance could be considered feminine even if those aren't strictly feminine things.

It's not that Loki is mock for being girly it's that he is mocked and feels very reminiscent of what women have to go through. The way loki is told to shut and be pushed to the corner feels like what women have to go through when they're shut down.

But what I would say is the first three films did not think Loki deserved it, not until Waititi's Ragnarok. Waititi been pretty open about is dislike of Loki. Honestly, MCU ended up being a case of life imitating art. Loki was someone who was different in this bright masculine world and was mocked and thought lesser and then the narrative of the MCU mocks and treats Loki as lesser because he's different in these certain ways.

Well, a weird take I saw today is that Loki stans are to blame for everything wrong with the Thor movies and it "leaked into cannon". When Loki had previously just been in T1 and Avengers.

The thing is that T:TDW was in development hell and no one wanted to direct it, and went through multiple directors. If there's a focus on Loki in T:TDW it's because he was originally going to DIE PERMANENTLY in that movie. It's only due to test audiences that he didn't die then.

Like you're aware that CH was the one that pushed for the different tonal shift for TR? And there's a deleted scene from Thor Ragnarok where Dr. Strange traps Loki in a portable restroom where men continuously enter to piss as he tries to avoid them. WOW! SUCH PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT!! We got those scenes but not the ones where he interacts with Hela...

Also, fuck it, Loki was killed unceremoniously and graphically in IW, one of the most graphic MCU deaths so Thor could have more angst and revenge (Nebula should have killed Thanos).

Also, I blame the show on Marvel's lack of typical show development structure (e.g. no showrunner and hiring less experienced writers because they give in more easily to Feige's demands).

The reactions of the crowd, Adam, and especially the Valkyries who didn’t even know Volundr could be used like that

Especially the reactions of the gods when they learn just who that child was (Shive, Odin, Thor, and all the others but definitely the Greeks)

This is going to start off like the original one when Charybdis is partnered with Adam (because I’m kind of lazy).

-When the valkyries first found you, a small child just asking for some food, they instantly melted and took you in, assuring Scylla, who brought you to them, that they would keep you safe.

-Brunnhilde and Randgriz were furious to find out who you two were. They all knew of your ‘crime’ which they couldn’t even call a crime at this point, as you were just a child, desperate for food, and for your theft, you were cast into the ocean, trapped by Zeus.

-Scylla was the one who helped rescue you, after she took pity on you, seeing you as the thing you were, a child, trapped in the same strait she roamed after the jealous Circe transformed her into the beast she was today.

-You didn’t see her as a beast, you saw her as a friend, and the maiden who saved you, taking you to safety as she couldn’t bear to see a child in such a state.

-You had been adopted by the valkyries, becoming their youngest sister, the one they all doted on, treated you with such love and kindness and you never had to go hungry again, always making sure you had been fed.

-Your voracious appetite, which stemmed from not getting much food growing up, as your parents had both abandoned you in the sea, leaving you to perish or survive on your own, had calmed once you started to get food on a regular basis.

-You were a shy child, afraid of the gods, as they had done nothing but treat you so cruelly, never going anywhere without one of your big sisters by your side, and even then you hid behind their legs if someone approached, be it human or god.

-Hercules was distraught when he saw you with Thrud, giving you a bright smile and saying hello, as kids normally loved him, and you immediately burst into tears, apologizing loudly as you cried.

-He had not known that you had been a child, the guilt eating away at him as his heart broke, as he knew that Zeus trapped you at the bottom of the sea where you had to create a whirlpool, just to try to get some food.

-He put his large hand on your head, ruffling your hair gently before he smiled softly, “It’s okay, I’m not mad. I forgive you.” You sniffled, shocked that he forgave you, and he quickly became your big brother shortly afterwards, as he wanted to make amends with you.

-The valkyries were not bothered by you bonding with Hercules, happy to see that you two were getting along, seeing that you were growing in confidence.

-When Ragnarok was announced, Brunnhilde gathered the valkyries, telling them all that they were going to help humanity by forming bonds with the human champions, to create a Holy Weapon, one that can kill the gods.

-Brunnhilde kneeled before you, after teaching you Völundr as well, and spoke, “Y/N, I will not force a child to fight, but I will ask if you want to fight against the gods.”

-The other valkyries expressed their concern over you fighting, you were strong, but you were still only a child, but you were being given the choice to fight against the gods who threw you away so cruelly so long ago.

-You swallowed, a little afraid before you asked, “Which god would I be fighting?” her smile surprised you, but also confused you just for a moment, before she answered, “Who else, the one who punished a child desperate for food, Zeus.”

-Your jaw and the jaws of the other valkyries dropped, hearing that she wanted you to fight against Zeus, to fight alongside the human warrior that she would choose to fight Zeus.

-You swallowed, a bit afraid, before you gave a tiny nod, not wanting revenge, but wanting to stop the cruel gods from hurting anyone else.

-When Adam met you, he was surprised to see a young child peeking out from behind Brunnhilde, and he instantly kneeled, smiling gently at you, “Hello little one, are you my partner?”

-You gave him a shy nod, taking his offered hand, holding onto it as he looked up at Brunnhilde who bowed her head to him, “This little one is older than she looks, just like the other valkyries. I am entrusting Charybdis to you, Adam.”

-He nodded, smiling down at you before he kneeled again, swearing that he was going to keep you safe before he opened his arms, hugging you to him and you fused with him.

-Adam walked out with a pair of matching apple red gauntlets, munching on an apple as he was introduced.

-The fight was, for the most part, one sided, Adam easily handling Zeus, punching him hard across the field with ease.

-Zeus then transformed again, morphing into his Adamas form, Adam froze, seeing memories flashing across his mind, memories that were not his own.

-Adam had to focus on dodging blows, landing his own, seeing the memories of a child, being abandoned by her parents, a child who stole a cow because she was so desperate for food and then was cast down to the bottom of the sea, forced to form a whirlpool, just to get some food.

-Adam clenched his teeth together, speaking to you, “Are these your memories?” he saw you floating beside him, hugging him around his neck, like you were scared, nodding into his shoulder.

-He punched Zeus across the field again, showing his strength as Adam put his anger into it as you faded, “Who did this to you?” your memories flashed across his mind, showing him that the one who punished you, a mere child, for trying to eat and trapping you at the bottom of the sea, was none other than Zeus.

-An almost evil aura surrounded Adam, his heart rate increasing as all he could see was red.

-As a father himself, he couldn’t even begin to imagine hurting one of his children like this, he couldn’t understand how anyone could hurt a child like this!!

-He felt you hug him again and you spoke, “Put the gauntlets together to fuse them!” he listened to you, putting his arms together and the gauntlets started to glow brightly, reforming into a different form, a re-Völundr.

-Only one of his arms was heavier as the new weapon was revealed, what looked to be a reverse drill, to describe it simply, with razors at the bottom.

-He squeezed, turning on the weapon and it began to suck in air, creating a vacuum, the razors turning like a chainsaw.

-Many gawked at the gruesome weapon, even Brunnhilde who then calmed, remembering that this is what you looked like when you were trapped at the bottom of the sea.

-Zeus was met with another harsh punch with Adam’s free hand before he tried to grab Zeus with the new weapon, to finish the job, but only managed to grab his left arm, tearing it to shreds.

-The gods were gawking, seeing the strongest of the gods being torn to shreds by a human with such a violent weapon, but it quickly sobered them up, seeing that the humans were going to fight and that they weren’t going to give up.

-When Zeus lost and was beginning to fade away, you and Adam split, and Adam kneeled next to you, hugging you as Zeus looked at you in confusion, “Who is that? That’s not a valkyrie.”

-Adam put a hand on your head, soothing you, “You probably won’t recognize her, but this is Charybdis.”

-Zeus’ eyes went wide, seeing that the one he punished so long ago or stealing a cow during Hercules’ labor, was only a child, a young child, a hungry, abandoned by her parents child.

-Adam panted softly as Zeus slowly faded away, having beaten the strongest in Valhalla, much to the shock of everyone in attendance.

-The arena was so silent, as the shock was so great nobody could utter a sound louder than breathing, eyes wide, unable to look away from what they had just witnessed.

-As Zeus faded, so did the gauntlets, breaking into pieces, much to the shock of others. Brunnhilde gasped sharply, not even realizing it until that moment, that Adam was not as injured as he should have been.

-She saw the gauntlets chipping away, slowly fading as she and the other Valkyries realized what you had done, you used your body- the gauntlets, to take the more severe damage, protecting Adam.

-They had no idea that Volundr could be used like that, not even Buddha, who was watching with wide eyes, a feeling of dread building up inside of him as he realized that this technique was causing the death of child.

-Zeus vanished first and everyone was stunned when the gauntlets on Adam’s hands started to glow brightly and the shock grew when a child appeared before him, slowly fading away as well.

-Adam was quick to realize what you had done, taking the damage to keep him safe, but it was your smile, warm and bright, like you were truly happy, that stunned him, making his throat tighten, feeling tears welling in his eyes.

-You cupped his cheeks as the crowds were quickly alight with shouting, seeing a child, and many learned who you were, Poseidon’s daughter and the fearsome beast that Zeus trapped at the bottom of the ocean as punishment for stealing a cow.

-Hades had wide eyes, turning on his brother, “What is the meaning of this Poseidon? Why is your child fighting?!” Poseidon was just as stunned, he had honestly forgotten about you, after he deemed you weak, and after learning of your punishment, he believed you deserved it. To see you so strong and yet still so young now made his heart break- he felt anguish that he had abandoned you.

-The other Greek gods weren’t much better, Hercules was fuming, glaring harshly that you had sacrificed yourself, as he knew your desire to protect others, and he knew there was nothing that could be done as he held Goll who was sobbing in his arms while Brunnhilde was on her knees, her face buried in her hands as well.

-Ares didn’t care- tears in his eyes as he shouted at Poseidon, demanding to know why your father didn’t protect you. Hermes himself was furious, trying in vain to hold Ares back, equally as mad while Aphrodite had actually stood in rage, watching you disappearing slowly, furious that Poseidon had treated you so cruelly.

-Shiva was stunned stiff, he couldn’t even react, seeing that Adam’s partner was a child, Poseidon’s child, and how cruelly him and Zeus had treated you- you were just a little girl desperate for food after being abandoned! He didn’t even know he was silently crying, tears streaming down his cheeks, not hearing the sobs of his wives who couldn’t begin to even think about treating one of their kids so cruelly.

-Odin was furious, silently staring, he was a harsh person, but to children, Odin was very gentle, and to hear of another father treating their child so cruelly, he felt sick.

-Loki was nearby, strangely silent as he was biting his bottom lip, trying to hide that he was crying himself, at least halting his sobs, but not his tears.

-You cupped Adam’s cheeks gently as he wept quickly, trying not to sob, just letting the tears flow, your smile was gentle as you spoke, “I’m okay Papa, it doesn’t hurt- and I’m not hungry anymore!”

-Your words made throats clench as he cupped your cheeks in return, smooshing your cheeks gently, making you squeak which made him smile gently, not wanting you to go but there was nothing he could do to change it. The least he could do was send you off with a smile.

-He swallowed hard, as his throat felt tight, like he couldn’t even talk before he inhaled deeply, “I’m proud of you- so proud of you.”

-Your eyes lit up, happy tears coming to your own eyes, “Really?” he chuckled softly at your elation, giving you a small nod, “I am- I couldn’t be any prouder to have a daughter like you.”

-You smiled brightly, your tears finally falling as you closed your eyes, “Bye Papa- I love you!” he embraced you, feeling you crumbling away until his arms were soon wrapped around nothing.

-Adam didn’t blame Brunnhilde, as you chose to fight, and you were able to get your own revenge, at the cost of your life and keeping him safe, and others didn’t blame the Valkyrie, as this could have been prevented if Zeus, and especially Poseidon, hadn’t been so cruel.

-Your loss lit a fire under humanity, the other warriors furious, wanting to fight and survive for you, so your sacrifice wasn’t in vain. Many gods started to argue, wanting to call of the tournament and punish those who had done such terrible things, like Poseidon.

-Hercules immediately defected to humanity, declaring his intention to fight for humanity, as did Buddha, who was planning on surprising everyone later, but decided to do it now, to make more gods side with humanity in the hopes of halting everything.

-Hercules and Adam both comforted Brunnhilde, who could do nothing to halt her tears, she knew this was a risk, but she was in anguish that you chose to protect Adam and give your life for him.

-A child should never have to make a decision like that.

-It was with their support and encouragement that Brunnhilde stood strong once again, the tournament now halted as the gods were furious and wanting to call everything off as Odin called an emergency meeting with him, Shiva, and Hades to discuss the future of Ragnarok.

lmao! Pretending they don’t care? They’ve been stating their disinterest in the franchise, it’s entire premise, and characters they’re supposed to be displaying since Jenga Block Boy Waititi was hired to direct Ragnarok: not just plainly but very, very openly to boot.

Waititi made his stance and intent to literally make a mess of the Thor corner and every character in it during Ragnarok’s creation and release VERY clear in every interview he did at the time, until Disney’s PR teams had full control and was not only unapologetic about it but downright insulting: and gen fans lapped it up, fed him & teh studios more of their money as a response, and still defend it today to stupid levels while complaining that he followed through with Love & Thunder and did EXACTLY what he said he would.

Which, with that as an example for them to hold up thanks to that dumb; is how we ended up with hacks like Waldron, who adapted the crappiest, second most misogynistic script in Phase 4′s roster into the Loki title, while admitting he had never watched or researched the TITLE character, any of the background: and proving he didn’t understand what Phase 4 and why it’s called that, means: BEFORE he admitted multiple times that not only was it never his intent to write the Loki show they advertise, promoted for LIVE at Cons prior .. but that he when he did adapt that crappy script replacing the name ‘Dixie’ with Sylvie among others? He did so writing a Sylvie Lushton series NOT, ‘Loki’ (or more appropriately named by some of us who know better and are aware of this: the Larry/Bob: the Accountant show.) Which, did not go over as well as their PR teams like to pretend either: as most viewers they pulled the false advertising and bait and switch on, dipped out either mid first episode or, mid second episode. It’s that much of a dumpster fire and unrecognizable mess with lie of the title name over it’s head. It’s so bad.. that now coming up on two years later and trying to promote a second season with the same premise line (which they never saw through in the first season at all EITHER by the way) they have been and are STILL making excuses and new lines for them up to try and make it pass so people will watch season 2... who Waldron’s buddy has taken over writing in the same spirit (his interviews are very telling) just to make sure it keeps on suckin’.

And mentioning that, it’s no great surprise then, that with Waldron and Taika still having jobs during that period (and in Waldron’s case also being the one responsible for MOM’s equally dismissive or the characters script) That the Second Doctor Strange movie, and SMNWH (through great on nostalgia & good cast to carry even this GAPING HOLE) completely ignored the premise of the first Dr. Strange film and the Masters of the Mystic Arts that was in fact the first film to start the multiverse off.. only for Waldron and the Accountant crew to try and pretend otherwise BEFORE that second film for Doctor Strange was even released.

Add in the train wreck of what they dropped for She Hulk, especially at those price tags and uh no, honey. People are hating on the MCU at current, because the MCU at current is mostly trash.

The current hires and mentality in the studios has completely forgotten the premise and quality over quantity which people paid their hard earned money to watch: any of it.

Personally, I don’t think Disney in particular is entirely to blame here though. This shit started to get out of control, when the ship threw it’s officers, navigators and maps overboard in dismissing the Marvel Creative Committee that kept it on course as a major contributor, and it’s just been going downhill between that and hires with this mentality.

I was really, really hoping MOM would escape that when Raimi took over Multiverse (his experience and examples as a professional gave me --and others-- false hope) but, nope: unfortunately Raimi failed ALMOST in the same unprofessional way Waldron has, in not bothering to know even the film he was making a sequel to, well enough to correct any of the issues in that film along the same lines, and again like Taika, said as much in his official interviews.

Marvel Cinematic has lost the Universe in it’s title; and is going down the toilet. And guess what? People are allowed to notice, and get annoyed/angry when they spend their money on one thing, and are given a shoddy knock off instead: and, allowed to say something about it.

You want to keep your blinders on and have to rewatch, and rewatch, and rewatch.. and then cling to PR-generated excuses made after the fact to find anything good in it? That’s on you. Not other people. Just sayin’.

CHAPTER SIX APOCALYPTIC DESTRUCTION

*Brunhilde was looking at the next round and groaned at the fact that the god in question was Shiva. She knew many things about Shiva. He was rather lazy and passive. He apparently loved dancing and singing and of course he was like a charming young man. Not that she likes him.*

*she soon found out the perfect champion to fight him as she was reviewing the Einherjar's pasts and she saw one battle. A powerful demigod was laying waste to an army and was causing enough damage that she was sure he was related to Shiva but..she knew about his family tree. While his son had kids she knows that neither kid had children of there own. So there was only one question left which God was he related to? But right now she had to get 'The Living Apocalypse' and she soon found him. It was Paradox. He was currently in his room drinking a load of coffee and goofing off with family and friends. She of course came to him and soon guided him to his partner.*

Paradox:I'm telling ya I ain't getting nowhere if I have to deal with a high maintenance..*bumps into some muscular giant.*--oof! *looks up.*

*Now Paradox was a 6' 8" giant of a man and had to look up at the over 7 foot giantess in front of him. This was Thrud, his Valkyrie partner.*

Thrud:hahaha I'm your partner little man. What? Upset that im beastly monster of a woman?

Paradox *with a large smile*:Nice! Giant woman!

*he lunged and hugged her. Due to the hight difference he was eye level with her chest and he looked up smirking. Thrud of course accused him of joking with her.*

Thrud:very funny! Let go!

Paradox:*flatly* no. I'm not joking.

Thrud:*trying not to cry but her completion changes to her lips wobbling and her eyes tearing up.* you-you mean it?

*after The Völundr Paradox walked out as the area was made. Unlike the platform surrounded by water this one was a simple open plain arena with nothing special.*

Heimdall:this is round 2 of ragnarok! On this side representing the gods he creates and destroys then rebuilds and destroys again! The world is his sandbox! SHIVA!!!

*with a bellow of an elephant Shiva comes riding in on an elephant. Shiva jumped off his elephant and landed in the arena.*

Heimdall:and on this side representing the mortals he's the living apocalypse! The man who bested armies! The man who makes even the demigods beg for mercy!

*before he finished Paradox grabbed the horn and threw it.*

Paradox:ah..shaddap! Anyway I'm Paradox. I'm your opponent today. Let's go Shiva.

*After introductions were given Paradox ripped his T-Shirt off him with a flex showing Thrud became Paradox Gauntlets on each of his four arms each one was connected through a large piece of armor on his back.*

*Paradox and Shiva both had a large amount of muscle and tattoos though Paradox's tattoos were far more varied. He had a elk head on his chest A wing tattoo spanning his back. Wolves and dragons wrapping around his arms and the one under his eye which was a rune. It became clear that it is was a rune of Thor. Paradox's claws twitched as he stretched his arms and chuckled.*

Shiva:ill destroy you. And I can't afford to lose I'm carrying the hope of 1116 gods on my back. I ain't going to lose to anyone! They believed in someone as lazy and stupid as me. Because no matter what I'm the peak of Svarga.

Paradox:how funny. I'm carrying the hopes of my family and friends. I'm here because of them all. So I'll show you one thing. I know it's cliché and rather dumb but..this is the power of love, hope, family and friendship you roided out smurf!
