Queer found families are great, but one of the things that (I assume) has become more common with an increase of queer acceptance, is families that are a combo of blood family and found family.

Like. My partners have all been basically absorbed into my birth family. Thanksgiving was my mom, my gramma, both of my brothers and their wives, my two nephews, and me and my three partners.

My polyblob is in many ways half polycule and half found family. And they all came with me to my birth family's Christmas. My youngest brother spends more time talking to Daci than he does to me by a hUGE margin lol.

If your birth family is shit, it's possible one or more of your partners' families will basically adopt you.
