Adam hating his father for the way he treated him and his brother, for pitting them against each other. Adam hating his father for being a liar, for being a phony, for sending him to the army, even though it should have been Charles because Charles would have been a good soldier because he was always a good soldier and his father hated him because he himself could never be what his son was or could have been - Cyrus taking away Charles' future because he himself couldn't have it. Adam loving his brother even though he was not kind and even though he was afraid and Charles loving Adam even though he could not be kind and even though he could only be violent. Charles loving Adam even though he was painfully aware that his father loved his brother more, Charles always waiting for Adam and Adam always trying to get away because they both reminded each other of their father but Charles loved his father even though he hated him and Adam hated his father even though he loved him. And now they are grown up and they are strangers and Adam does not love his father but says "I believe in my father" and Charles loves his father but now he sees what Adam saw when he was a kid - their father is a liar. He is not a god and they both realized it too late but Charles loves him still and he loved Adam and Adam loves no one.

And now Adam has his own kids and his boys adore him and he doesn't know what it means to adore a father and Adam becoming his father and his sons becoming him and his brother. And Cal loving his brother even though he is not kind and Aron fearing his brother even though he loves him and Cal craving for love the way his uncle did and Adam, just like his father, abandoning him… the "monsters" craving love but its all wrong and the "angels" receiving love and its all wrong!

Dungeon Meshi modern au where both Laois and Falin are food vloggers. Laois is always travelling to remote areas and cultures to try the most "extreme" foods and bring them to light. He's known as the guy who will drink blood and slam a still wriggling bug just to comment on it's nutty flavor. Meanwhile Falin is visiting long-standing eateries and sharing the stories behind local cuisine.

Nobody actually puts together they're siblings (in part due to wildly different viewerbases) until Falin in one video mentions how she enjoys eating insects and the comment section is full of folks asking her to "collab with the bug guy". Her very next video is her and Laois smiling infront of a mukbang style platter of insects and she introduces him as her brother.

A. Square and A. Faux Line: Damn, that circle kinda a hottie- ...

I had this silly idea after my 29374th time watching Flatland that a majority of the first part of the movie is just A. Sphere watching all the shit go down like the worst telenovela you've ever seen. Also, that A. Line was originally going to be the apostle, but... uh... she can't really do that anymore, so he banks all his money on A. Square.

Also, I thought it would be super funny of A. Square and A. Faux Line both crushed on A. Sphere when he first showed up lol. Crazy smooth priest spawns and everyone swoons.

Older Hex doodles too. I love Hex, they're such a real one the whole time. With all the faults of Sphereland, I do like Hex maining in that one. But I also like picking and choosing which things I take as canon in my own work, so you get young adult Hex with their totally not-romantically-involved-with-at-all partner Punto (P. Octagon).

It's been a bit since Flatland happened in this hypothetical, so A. Square's still around. He's trying to be supportive of his masc-nonbinary kid who likes kissing boys, but still has to be annoying with dad jokes and the occasional backhanded compliment. He means well tho.

A. TESSERACT OH HOW I'VE MISSED YOU POOKIE <3333. She's probably one of my most favorite ocs I've made (and the one that gets the most art <3) She's also the one I feel the least awkward about shoving into the source material lol. I yearn to work on A Heightlander's Escape again, but we'll see.

I just wanted to draw something cute between her and A. Square. She may or may not be the voice at the end of the movie hmmmmmmmm.
