I know the logical reason Sun and Solar weren’t extremely close before Solar’s death was due to keep Davis from having to voice several characters in one scene.

Personal headcanons though? Sun was still dealing with his trauma from Eclipse and Solar was still dealing with the death of his own Sun. Neither were ready to be hurt again by going through similar experiences to their last trauma.

A lil’ shinogiyuu fusion cuz I was in the mood to mess w digital art, clean lineart is difficult but I had fun lmao

I think their combined person values their family the utmost and so I made the red of Giyuu’s haori more prominent, as they both share that lost older sister story

They’re quite aloof, their resting face looks completely nuetral - not happy or stern but blank. Occasionally perking up to smile or to become more serious. Their teasing is often mistaken for bullying but they really don’t mean it at all

Your f/o will be happy to keep your safe foods in the house, and won’t raise a judgemental eyebrow if you’re selective with ordering food (asking for things to be removed or modified for example) If you want to introduce new things to your diet they will support you but they won't make you feel like you 'failed' if it doesn't work out. Yes, even the ones who are more daring or colourful in their food choices.

They will be perfectly loving towards you as you are, they don’t want you to be different or change to a standard of ‘normalcy.’ They won't mock or shame you or pressure you into eating things that make you gag or feel sick, and will be happy to accommodate your needs because they love you as you are.

They want you to feel safe when eating with them! Food should not be a chore. When you enjoy your comfort foods it makes them smile :)

Also imagine your autistic/food sensitive f/o feeling more comfy with someone who just gets them.

The cast of Blades of Light and Shadow and their Perfect Match types

Ever since I did my Blades/Elementalists attunement crossover to mark the anniversary of the Blades series, I’ve known I wanted to do something like this to mark the wide release of book three, and I love me some Perfect Match and the types system, so what better way than by incorporating that into a piece?

So the match types you see here are based on what we’ve seen of these characters up to book two, so any character evolution they may undergo in book three is not accounted for. You might also notice that, when deciding each character’s type, I went off of the core four traits instead of the match name or description, unless I needed a tiebreaker.

Finally, MC’s type is pretty subjective, as I’m sure everyone has a different idea of what their MCs are like, so for the sake of this edit set, Raine’s type is based on which traits she displays most in canon.

one thing i’ve been thinking about recently is sometimes things are just out of our control. we can try to change, fix or fight these uncontrollable forces that are sent our way but sometimes we just physically cannot do anything - and that’s okay. it’s okay that somethings can’t be changed, or fixed, or fought, and that’s completely fine! not having all the necessary cards or puzzle pieces to help complete the puzzle just means you’ll find them later in life

In the movie Wicked I think it would’ve been cool to feature Idina Menzel as one of the side characters. My preference for her part would be Madame Morrible, even though she’s a bit young for the part. Having the previous Elphaba cast as the woman tutoring our new Elphaba into this role of power and evil would be incredible.

Sometimes I think about that book I read as a kid where the protagonist figured out the secret to human photosynthesis (by eating a ton of iron-rich food (like liver (which he hated))) thus turning himself into a plantsim & effectively solving world hunger But then the government shut him down because if nobody needed to eat food anymore the economy would utterly collapse and. there’s no point to this post. sometimes I just Think About It
