that marie kondo might be onto something because I just bought a $20 butter dish off facebook marketplace and the whole time I was like am I just being a sillybilly.... am I being indulgent and wasteful...... I could get this for like two bucks somewhere else......... and then I bought it and took it home and put it on my counter and it perfectly matches our new cooking set and every time I see it I snile so sneetly so maybe there is something to be said for unapologetically pursuing joy :)

now that you asked i just remembered i left my kpop stuff at my mom's place in my hometown back in august 😭😭😭 the only ones i have here with me are the ones from tomorrow bc i brought them with me for good luck (didn't work. should've left them there too. /j)

saw a picture of a ロルケーキ (rolled cake) on tumblr and decided i wanted to make one. used this recipe and it worked really well as far as cracking/cake texture goes. this is actually my third (3rd) try due to rolling/filling trouble, but that was a Me Issue and not a recipe issue

so i got 3-4 hours of sleep and i feel like shit obviously but now i gotta be at work for the next 2.5 hours. and then i get like an hour of break (not enough time for a nap...ill probably need to eat...) and Then i have an appt and itll be another ~2 hours before i get home. and Then itll be like. close to 7pm. and thats too late to really take a nap... oughh.
