I think this is officially my peak for a while. This piece was made in dedication for my girlfriend. She's had a hard time the last few weeks and I wanted to cheer her up so I decided to make art of one of her favourite songs from one of her favourite games of all time. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. And of course. Rest in Peace Divide. This is also made in your honour and your legacy. Fly High.

Okay well if Yasuhiro was unsettled by having a vision of Shuichi and Kokichi doing the do, he’s probably not gonna have a good time going near like…anyone on that bus except Akane, Junko, and *maybe* Korekiyo.

korekiyo would lose his absolute goddamn mind over the whole goncharov phenomenon btw. he gives extensive lectures on analyzing why it’s apparently inherent human nature to “yes, and” your way into silly, nonsensical inside jokes like that, and nobody in his class gets any rest for like a solid month after he first finds out about it.

Some thoughts about my own drv3 post game au:

Personally, I decided that between Korekiyo and the others there will be some animosity, and I don't think the general group is wrong for it.

The thing about drv3 is that a good portion of culprits have symphatetic reasons which mainly come from the desperate situation they are in, you can understand they would have never done it under other circumstances.

But Kiyo... Is not like that, his(fictional) character would have done it under other circumstances, and he used the trust that was put in him to kill someone, right in front of other people's eyes

And post game au, as much as there would be an acknowledgement of the fact that they don't know everyone's stories, or what is real and what is fake, I do think Kiyo would still be distrusted. Mainly for his actions (and manipulative personality) but also because the others don't know what to believe about him.

And I think he'd also purposely isolate himself as well, he wouldn't make an effort to get to know them, or try to make them think of him differently, all he wants is to go home and he is loud about it.

Then again, I don't think neither other people or him are wrong here, they have been put into a terrible situation but like, Korekiyo already wasn't liked in the game, he murdered someone, tried to manipulate others and kinda taunted Himiko when she was grieving.

It doesn't paint a good picture and he is not trying to even improve it, but that's why I like him slowly getting better, slowly regaining other people's trust, while of course, some people will never fully like him, and thats okay too!

In return, the following day I will dress you. And we will see who is more correct hm?"

And it ensues…

+ Kiyo swimwear after they have happily gained weight because healing can be gaining weight! Their girlfriends are all absolutely entranced. They do look very nice. And Kokichi, Maki, and Shuichi are highly attracted to Kaito when Kiyo dresses him because he’s all spaced up and colourful and Kiyo very evidently knows their colours and how to compliment Kaitos complexion.

Despite Kiyo feeling ridiculous in the outfit Kaito gave them, they actually find it quite comfortable. They actually ask to keep the shorts. So.. progress on both ends methinks. Kiyo’s too uptight and Kaito’s working on getting an open mind.

hey uhh i asked for korekiyo and kirumi songs a while back and im here to say that the bug collector by haley heynderickx may just be them coded in postgame

i mean...i believe kiyo is canonically scared of bugs (correct me if i'm wrong or if that was only implied), and i think that postgame he'd become very paranoid and fragile, knowing that his sister was never real (and if she was, knowing that he was listening to a voice that wasn't really hers throughout the KG). the line "i must make you the perfect morning" works with kirumi due to her being accustomed to helping everyone and having no desires of her own. i also think "and you swear it's a priest from a past life out to get'cha" works with korekiyo, considering the fact that he was literally exorcized in his execution, and also how he probably had to avoid all sorts of punishment, likely including spiritual punishment like exorcism, etc, while killing all the girls to be his sister's friends in the "past life" created for him for the KG. also i think the vibes of the song just fit them.

I am now curious about your thoughts on your favorite and least favorite of the students in the DRV3 cast

Probably made it pretty obvious already LOL but my favorite is Kaito, I cried like a baby after his execution and it ruined me forever 😔 Close second is Shuichi, that is my baby BOY and he deserves to rest after all the shit he went through

Least favorite is between Angie and Kokichi; I have nothing against Angie's personality but her whole religious cult thing just really made me dislike her :") Literally every other word out of her mouth was about Atua and I got super sick of it pretty quickly. Kokichi...my feelings towards him are complicated haha it's more of a love/hate thing with him. He's absolutely insane and he gets on my nerves but that's what makes him such a fun character. I'd love to see him get a redemption tbh and just really get to know the REAL him under all the lies

As much as I wish to know more about ore game drv3 I think maybe that's the point.

We have Tsumugi's testimony but how could we prove she is lying or being honest when we cannot see the full truth for ourselves? We cannot understand how much of the characters we see is real and how much is fake because we don't and will never know who they were before the game. it's a game that fundamentally stops you from finding the truth of the characters and the world you have grown to love while also telling you should strive to find it.
