(I thought I could potentially write this one out, I don’t pride myself in writing, and quite frankly this is my first attempt at fanfic, let alone kink. Anyways, I’m choosing Kiyo as the partner in this scenario as they were the one I initially had in mind.)

Chapter 1: The Rude Awakening

Kirumi was asleep alone in the double love hotel bed with only rumpled satin sheets at her side. The situation presented itself when a small sliver of light escaped from the heavy red velvet drapes as the air conditioner pushed them open ever so slightly. Finding herself roused from her slumber, she turned to find that her lover was no longer at her side, not unusual considering their penchant for waking early and getting in a full beauty routine long before the morning announcement. Confused by the silence in the room, the screeching call of the alarm clock absent from the equation, She fumbled for the monopad left on the bedside table to check the time. Under no circumstances was it acceptable for Kirumi Tojo, the ultimate maid, to sleep in.

Fuck. Breakfast was supposed to be finished two hours earlier. Kirumi decided there was no time to waste getting tied up in her feelings about the situation. After getting ready as fast as humanly possible, she is rationalized what would be her best plan of action. She would make her way to the dining hall, apologize profusely to everyone who she could only imagine were angry with her negligence, and get to the bottom of who dared turning off her alarm.

As the frazzled Kirumi made her way down the hall towards the dining area, she was struck with the scent of baked goods. Pancakes? Perhaps the Belgian waffles she had planned the night before? The thick, smoky aroma of bacon pervaded next. Someone must have gone through the meal plans she had carefully written out in advance and take their preparation into their own, most likely less capable, hands.

It wasn’t long before she -quite literally- ran into the clumsy gentle giant, Gonta Gokuhara.

“Oh my, are you okay, Gokuhara-kun? My sincere apologies, I was just on my way to prepare breakfast. Whatever are you doing awake at this hour?”

Gonta adjusted his glasses and moved a strand of his tangled hair from his face.

“Oh- Gonta is okay. No need to worry, Tojo-kun. I thought it would be best to observe the local species of butterfly when the morning dew is still present. Butterflies are generally more active at dawn. Anyway, I thought you were already starting breakfast, but if you’re here - who is cooking?”

“That’s exactly what I was on my way to find out. My apologies for waking up late to prepare today’s breakfast, though it’s quite possible that someone else has that covered.”

“No worries, Tojo-kun. Gonta think maybe it is best that Tojo-kun have a break from all of the chores. Thank you for taking care of us, Tojo-kun”

“You are most welcome, however the service I provide is the very least I can do, given our current situation. Well, I had best be on my way, pleasure speaking with you Gokuhara-kun.”

“Good to see you as well, Tojo-kun”

Kirumi opened the doors to the dining hall, the popping sound of frying bacon and the sweet aroma filled the air. She finally made it to the kitchen, opening the door to see Kiyo, completely startled, their hair tied back in a loose braid, revealing their slender bandage-wrapped neck, and an apron double wrapped around their delicate frame. They recoiled at the surprise of Kirumi entering unannounced - it’s very unlike her to enter a room without knocking, they reasoned.

Kiyo’s eyes widened in surprise “Well, I’ll be. You’re awake? After all you put yourself through yesterday, I thought for sure that you’d be asleep well into the afternoon. This really puts a damper on my plans, You see-“

“I do.” Kirumi uncharacteristically cut them off, as she disapprovingly peered over at the ornate silver tray. It had been topped with its own china cup and saucer, french press, cream pitcher, tiny spoon and sugar bowl. Of course there was also the ensemble of golden brown waffles topped with berries, a dusting of powdered cinnamon sugar, and thick cream; with a side plate consisting of thick slabs of bacon, grilled sausage links, and two eggs sunny side up. The audacity they had to attempt to pamper her in such a way, taking her from the fulfillment gained by serving others was-sickeningly sweet?

With the unusual circumstances of the day thus far, she figured she could approach things with more laxity. The maid took a deep breath so as not to appear cross to her concerned lover.

“My apologies. I couldn’t help waking when I had, but to invalidate your efforts would be unforgivable. I suppose that bringing the tray to me is no longer an option, which must disappoint you so. I’m still fully of the mindest that I am meant to be in your service, however it would be wrong of me to not entertain your well wishes.”

“My dear, you owe me absolutely nothing. No apologies whatsoever. Do I make myself clear?”

Kirumi, taken off guard nodded. “V-very well”

“Now that we’ve established that, allow me to serve the class this morning. Carry on as you will. Your plate is already made, cara mia. Enjoy.”

They brushed past towards the counter to serve the line of fellow students beginning to accumulate, silky hair swaying behind them.

“W-wait. You can’t possibly expect me to finish this whole portion? I appreciate the generosity, but do you not suppose this is a bit much?”

Korekiyo was frozen in their tracks, flushed cheeks conveniently concealed beneath their trademark mask.

“N-never. Nothing could possibly be enough-“, they stammered, “to express the depths of my love.”

I picture Kirumi’s SO shutting off her alarm to wake up and cook breakfast one morning, and do it themselves, bringing her plate to her in bed and making her take it easy for the day as much as she hates it.

Just them making a habit of taking on more and more of her duties, and giving her time to rest and indulge herself.

Kirumi with a soft, motherly figure who finally takes as much care of herself as she does for everyone else.

The way ppl in 2020/2021 wrote pregame made me really confused because they said stuff like “oh it’s the opposite of the imgame” then made it not the opposite whatsoever so here’s my pregame rewrite or headcanon or au or whatever you want to call it

Shuichi Saihara

in the fanon of pregame he’s seen as this abusive masocist sadist manipulator but here I’m just gonna make him an autistic outcast that kinda sits at the back of his class drawing stuff of his danganronpa hyperfixation on the corner of his worksheets, he’s very online and makes theories on a blog about danganronpa, he has alot of online mutuals but not alot of real friends. His biggest fear is being seen as “just okay”.

Kokichi Ouma

In the fanon pregame kokichi is seen as this helpless little baby but in mine to contrast the ingame he’d be alot more social and trustworthy, one of the popular kids but not in a mean way, he has a little crew of friends he calls his “gang” but in reality all they do is like hang out on weekends. His biggest fear is accidentally hurting someone.

Kaede Akamastu

In fanon pregame kaede is seen as this bully but in mine she’d be struggling with mental health alot and stay in her bed for most of the time, she doesn’t really like people and has trust issues but she follows Shuichi’s danganronpa blog and supports him all the way. Her biggest fear is being gaslit or tricked.

Kaito Momota

In fanon pregame Kaito is seen as this bully thats always beating up kokichi but in mine he’d be reserved and quiet, on a few sports teams but nothing too exceptional to be noticed, he envy’s kokichi and his popularity. He wants to be popular and have friends but his social anxiety permits that. His biggest fear is being seen as an idiot.

Maki Harukawa

I don’t know much about fanon pregame maki. In mine she’s a top student but very reserved, she’s often a target for bullies (when she signed up for danganronpa she wanted a talent that could protect her) but doesn’t let it get to her. She’s relatively good friends with Kaito and more social than her ingame personality. Her biggest fear is losing herself.

Miu Iruma

In my au pregame Miu would be very focused on her grades but often has trouble grasping the material, she spends alot of time in the library alone, definitely an outcast. Her biggest fear is not having a job in the future and having to sell her body.

Rantaro Amami

In my au rantaro is a very nervous and uptight person, very rule bent. He is a relatively good student and admires Maki. He is always on Kaede’s tail for either showing up late or not showing up at all. His biggest fear is letting his guard down and getting hurt because of it.

K1-B0 (aka Kiibo)

In my au kiibo is not a robot but has an intense intrest in technology and AI. He mainly spends time in the computer room hacking stupid stuff onto it. He is a relatively relaxed person that doesn’t care about much, a little bit selfish too. He keeps all of his pictures and information neatly organized in files on his computer at home. His biggest fear is breaking a device to the extent that it loses everything on it.

Gonta Gokuhara

In my au Gonta is an outcast, big nature lover tree hugger and is ostracized for this, he fears technology. He is very self centered and forgets to think about others sometimes, he mainly spends his time in the school garden helping bugs off the pathway. His biggest fear is robots taking over the world.

Korekiyo Shinguji

In my au korekiyo would be chronically ill, having to be taken care of by his older sister (whom he has a completely platonic relationship with) because of this he mainly spends time in the library researching about anthropology, he keeps to himself and doesn’t like to talk too much. His biggest fear is losing his sister.

Ryoma Hoshi

In my Au ryoma would be a very caring person, on the tennis team but not extraordinary at it, very social and friendly and has a good relationship with Kokichi. Very content with his life but is envious of taller people and always strives to be a better tennis player. His biggest fear is being isolated from society.

Kirumi Tojo

In my au Kirumi is a very nice person who usually makes plans for her friends, she loves cleaning and helping out with the little things, very social. Her biggest fear is being in power.

Himiko Yumeno

Himiko is a very isolated person so she uses magic and card tricks to try and get people to like her, she tries very hard to be “cool” and “mysterious” but she always fails and ends up rambling endlessly about whatever she was thinking of that day. Her biggest fear is people thinking her magic is real.

Angie Yonaga

Angie is a transfer student that joined a while back, she doesn’t talk alot and has a bit of religious trauma. she loves any kind of art and her main specialty is sculpting, she has trouble grasping other forms of art. Her biggest fear is Cults.

Tsumugi Shirogane

Tsumugi is a very reserved and doesn’t talk alot, but when she is talked to she could ramble on about cosplay forever. She uses cosplay as an escape from the world. She tries her hardest to be the kindest she can be, but she struggles with intrusive thoughts and emotions alot. Her biggest fear is being the villain.

Tenko Chabashira

Tenko is a calm and collected person or at least she tries to be, she gets angry easily and uses martial art to blow of steam. She has a bit of trauma which makes her untrusting of alot of men, but she’s trying to get help and is trying to befriend more male students. Her biggest fear is letting her trauma get in the wayof her relationships.

For autism, he's really into anthropology and finds a way to mention it in any way possible, I also relate to how he speaks and explains things if that makes sense. While I’m on a roll, I have someone special I’d like to introduce you to…

Meet Shai Carmine (Shinguji), the ultimate archaeologist and little sister to Korekiyo Shinguji (half siblings to her older sister).

She’s heavily autistic coded and very expressive. She’s similar to Korekiyo in her mannerisms, with a lot of people either thinking she’s unsettling or out to get them. Contrary to her brother and his cough cough history of women, she gets along amazingly with women. She actually only has female friends-

This is mostly because she was bullied a lot by men her age. She mostly studied abroad in several countries like Egypt and Greece and only returned to Japan to enrol at hopes peak for some reasons involving her backstory (which I’ll happily infodump if yall are interested).

(TW MENTIONS OF SUICIDE) I imagine she’d drop dead soon after Korekiyo died, with her most likely being her own culprit, as she couldn’t take her life anymore, especially after seeing her sister again at her brothers execution which she had to watch.

I do plan to make more of her like her death portrait and some little lore tidbits soon so stay tuned!!

Originally, Kiibo was just supposed to record information in his almost boundless storage, but things spiralled. He started liking Kiyo ramble on and on and on for hours on end about the most random shit. Then he started liking Kiyo. Kiibo works up the courage to ask Kiyo on a date and now we are here.
