but I've seen way too many blogs specify that the owner of the blog is a minor, and that's unsafe

I understand if your character is a minor but please don't reveal the fact you are a minor to the entire internet

if it's for the reason to tell people no cursing or no nsfw, just set the rules without telling them you are a minor

Ik it might seem fine since the Pjo fandom is a fairly nice group of people, but I assure you there are many and I mean many people on this website who aren't so please be safe and keep your personal information personal

this includes email, phone number, address, age, real/full name, liscence plate number, the school you go to, literally anything that can easily be used to track you down or pray on you

How To Block Terrible Influence Tour Spoilers (Tumblr App)

Hello phriends and phamily!

Tit is starting in less than 24 hours!!!

I don't know if someone has already done this post, but I know there has been an influx of new phannies crossing over from different platforms as of late.

So I thought I would show you all how to block the #titspoilers tag from your dash. This tut is for the Tumblr App because that's just what I use, I would assume the website would be a similar process!

If you are someone that doesn't want the show to be spoiled before you see it for yourself, follow these steps!!

STEP 1

Let's start from the dashboard to make it easy.

Go ahead and press the profile button on the bottom right hand side of the screen, the one that looks like a little guys torso. This will take you to your blog!

STEP 2

Now you should be looking at your blog (hey look that's me!)

In the top right hand corner should be a little gear icon, these are your settings! Go for it!

STEP 3

Oooo my blogs backroom... you should have let me know you were coming... I would have cleaned up a bit.

Now go and hit the 'Account Settings' button which should be the first on the list!

STEP 4

You're doing great! We're almost there!!

Now you'll want to tap on the 'Content You See' option which will be below 'Mentions' and above 'Color Palette'. Sorry, I forgot an arrow on this one.

STEP 5

WE'RE HERE! As you can see, I already have the tags I want censored ready to go but here is how you can add your own.

Right up the top next to the 'Filtered Tags' heading is a '+New' button, tap that!

STEP 6

Now you can type out the tag you want to be hidden and click 'add'. Remember to type them out and add individually otherwise it won't work.

From what I can gather, the Tumblr Phandom is agreeing that all Tit Spoilers should be tagged #titspoilers. I've added some other variations to be extra safe but you do whatever works for you :).

And that should be it!! If you have any other questions, let me know. Otherwise I hope this has helped some people that may not have known or were too afraid to ask <3 Love y'all, let's all enjoy tit together!!

So this blog has hit 1'000 followers recently, and that gives me all sorts of warm fuzzies about all the people I've met along the way. The ones I talk to every day, the ones I've fallen out of touch with or who are no longer a part of the community, and the ones I keep on my dash even though we never speak. 3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?

Already this isn't fair, because you know me, you know my blog title, you know my beliefs. ...The entire episode of "Hanky Panky" though. I hate that he cheated on Peg (while still recognizing the significance of it to his character arc, and the archetype he fulfills). It was a hard fall when I got to that episode for the first time. I was rooting for him, we were all rooting for him. And the fact the date the episode released on is so close to my birthday- it felt like a targeted attack.

There are maybe other things..... won't share them here though, y'all stay safe.

20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?

Assuming I'm meant to answer other than Hawkeye since they're canonically best friends, I really would have liked to see his and Klinger's friendship expand more. I love the banter they have, they seem to get along great, and even if Klinger isn't a dad in the show I feel like he has dad energy and I feel like they'd be really stoked to show each other pictures of their kids in the future and be excited for one another and the milestones their kids reach. I'll stop myself before I go too far off on the deep end with headcanons, but I think their dynamic is often fun and sweet and would love to see it explored more.

22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to this character? Something you don't like?

To be so real with you, I've not read enough fics to have a good answer for this- like down to details. I guess my thing is knowing that BJ is a very complex characters with multiple layers- I feel like I'd get annoyed if I read a fic that took a very fanon approach to BJ and made him like a malicious liar type, which I don't think he is at all. Or if he was boiled down to jealousy or anger issues. That said, I love reading a fic where someone can nail his sense of humor or puns.

Hawkeye Pierce

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

Why DO I like him, honestly??? I'm rewatching the show from the beginning rn and god.... I landed on this guy??? Echoing your answer when I asked you, he's definitely very complex and I am always learning new things about him/ coming to a different understanding in my interpretation of him. I really appreciate his character arc and what Alan Alda did with his character; I appreciate his views on him as well. I'm also drawn to characters where just about everything happens to them, and god Hawkeye might have pioneered that trope /hj

I'd also argue that I like Hawkeye so much because he's so much unlike the majority of my favorite characters previously. Traditionally, I've been more drawn to serious, academic characters, or charming and romantic, or softer and gentler, or even clean-cut types, and Hawkeye is.... different, to say the least. Not to say he's not capable of some of those qualities... sometimes, but he's... just vastly different than say Aramis, Enjolras, Riza Hawkeye, Peggy Carter, Philippe (mitim), and so on, and so on...

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

Hah.... This is also hard.

I like how imperfect he is. I would personally think of him as a good person (I say while wincing a bit), but I think more accurately he is a person who is trying to do his job to the best of his ability in one of the worst possible circumstances. And he tries to help people who are being mistreated along with it, and while standing up against idiocy and injustice, and being firm in his pacifism.

Despite that, he's sleazy, disrespectful, sometimes outright mean, and overall probably not someone I would want to be close friends with in real life. (At least, not at where he is in my current re-watching of the show.) He's not a 'saint in surgical garb'; he's a person. A very flawed person. And I like that. I like him. 6. What's something you have in common with this character?

I don't think I can answer this without getting too deep with it. Let's just say I like to think I'm funny sometimes.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

I know none of these are new to you Shan, but you'll hear them again!!!

-I think one of Hawkeye's favorite ice cream flavors is Rum Raisin. I think he also likes splitting a banana split with someone else (as a kid- with either of his parents, does it on dates sometimes, etc)

-I'm purposefully twisting a line given in the show about him having a 'pet' stuffed owl, and saying he had a stuffed owl toy as a kid named Hooty.

-I think his favorite color is red.

-I have a very important headcanon to myself that after his mom passed away, he was given a lot of extra care and love by the moms of a few of his friends in Crabapple Cove. One would send along an extra packed lunch with their kid to make sure Hawkeye had something to eat at school. Another stopping him to fix where his hair looked a mess and straighten his shirt for him. And so, so many hugs and endearments. None of this was done because they thought that Daniel Pierce was neglectful or couldn't take care of Hawkeye, but because Daniel was grieving as well and they wanted to help where they could and ease some of the load off Daniel's shoulders with not only him becoming Hawkeye's sole guardian, but also while still being the towns doctor as well- while he's trying to pick up the pieces and get back on his feet.

I like to think even as an adult when Hawkeye sees one of his friends mom's who had helped taken care of him, he still runs up to them and gives them a big hug. :,)

24. What other character from another fandom of yours that reminds you of them?

Hehe, there's the rub because I don't know if I have one. Mayyyybe Grantaire since I have Les Mis on the mind today, but not reallyyyyy. No offense to Grantaire but Hawkeye is a lot more competent and cares a lot more about things. But drunk, comical, not straight, in love with a blond- that checks out.

The story of the AU [as spoiler free as I can make it] goes as followed:

After an Armageddon was inflicted upon the four Inkwell Isles by The Devil himself, a large group of remaining residents had to evacuate into an underground safe space cleverly named by their leader "The Inkwell Underground"

It's been 8 years since the evacuation. Almost all residents of The Inkwell Underground have - at at least some point or another - lost hope in ever returning to the surface.

But one day, things in the everyday lives of The Inkwell Underground's residents take a turn after a certain flower falls into their hidden world.

I feel kinda bad for making her keep all of this, but I cant help without getting hurt too. yeah. she goes by Dark (may change her name later, she doesn't wanna reveal her real name), btw. rn shes using she/her, but sometimes its he/him or they/them.

Hey Katie, it's the anon that sent you the "hate" feedback. After reading through everyone's thoughts and opinions, I wanted to apologize! I realize I was being overly harsh and straightforward. Regardless of our differing opinions, I don't want to taint your blog with negativity as it's obvious you work so hard to be positive and kind.

I am actually a writer myself, and i suppose I never really cared for feedback- l've always been okay with just likes and blank reblogs. But I can now understand how everyone has diff ways of coping, how some may need more obvious feedback than others. I shouldn’t force my own preferences on others! I understand the frustration, and I've been educated and I totally support your opinions!

Also, just to clarify. I love the community the hotch girlies have built, and I am not saying we should not all connect and talk due to our common interests. I just think it’s important to be reminded that all our relationships are, indeed, parasocial. BUT I am not saying there is anything wrong with parasocial relationships, because like I’ve said, the community we’ve built is amazingly comfortable and safe, but personally I just believe we should all remember this fact once in a while! I hope this makes sense.

I know I am kind of deserving of being "attacked", but being called a "shithead", “coward”, "pig", “selfish dog”, and generally being sweared at is… well, horrible? I expressed an opinion, perhaps rudely and unfairly, but I am also human. It’s great to see people standing up for you as it shows the strength of everyone coming together, but, wow. hey makenzie, i've got a bit of a situation here. i'm 25, never had sex before, and never paid attention during those safe sex psas bc i was sure i was ace and never wanted to have sex, due to a number of reasons - i'm autistic and very particular about things touching my body, especially food or fluids (i need to wash that shit off *immediately* or else i will combust) and probably also not eating enough but i digress. i matched with an amazing guy and now i think i want to do it but (1/?)

1.) start wherever you want; sex is whatever you and your partner(s) want it to be. only way to do it wrong is to do with without consent and communication.

2.) here are two fun facts about being an adult. the first one is that no one actually gives a shit about you buying condoms. no one gives a shit about you buying anything. your fellow customers aren't scrutinizing your purchases they're too busy worrying about you scrutinizing your purchases. the cashier definitely doesn't care, the cashier is contemplating killing everyone in the store and then themself. just buy the condoms.

the second fun fact is actually a house rule of mine, which is that if you're too squirrelly to acquire safer sex supplies yourself you don't get to have sex. the good news on that front is that ordering condoms online from places like Condom Depot is, like, really easy.

3.) PrEP is great to know about but only necessary if your intended partner is at risk of transmitting HIV to you during sex, which is a conversation y'all should have if you haven't already.

getting the monkeypox vaccine is always a solid move if you're in a high risk area, although I do need to emphasize again that it's worth talking to your partner about whether or not they're a considerable risk for transmitting monkeypox (if they haven't had any other partners in the last two weeks, or none of their other partners have tested positive in the last two weeks, they're probably good). regardless, you can easily find somewhere to get vaccinated here.

4.) re: first time having sex, if you've spent literally any time following me you know the best advice I can give you is that you should literally just Talk To This Guy about what you both want to do and feel comfortable with, but watching this video from incomparable sexologist Lindsey Doe isn't a bad place to begin. I'm a big fan of how much she emphasizes lube!

5.) douching is the practice of washing out a bodily cavity with fluids. many people like to do it before anal sex to lower their risk of defecating on a partner by accident, but it's totally optional and not a requisite for anyone. if you're interested, you can find a good introduction here:

it's worth noting that douching presumes anal sex will be taking place, which is something to discuss. anal sex can absolutely rule but it also requires care; I'd recommend this other Lindsey Doe video for some hot tips on how to start exploring that:

if anal penetration isn't your cup of tea but eating ass may be, check out dental dams - even a clean anus runs the risk of harboring fecal matter and baby you do NOT want that in your mouth! in a pinch, a dental dam can be made in a hurry by cutting a condom open down one side and laying it flat.

I had this question for a long time. Figured you are the safest person to ask. Do you sometimes have the feeling that June could be toxic for Nick? Like she’s single mindedly selfish and takes Nick and his love for granted. She never acknowledges how much he’s done for her. Instead she keeps pushing him to do more.

In season 4, she doesn’t think of him unless she needs something from him. She never as much asks him to leave Gilead and come to Canada. This bothers me more because she even asked Lawrence to leave Gilead but not Nick. I agree June’s going through a lot. But does that mean she can continue being mean to Nick and think of him only when she needs something?

(i just wanna put something out there before the rude messages and vagueposts roll in: June isn’t real. she is a fictional character. just because a character has experienced trauma doesn't mean they are above criticism or that anyone has to like them. it doesn't reflect on anyone's ability to empathize with real life survivors, either. we are all entitled to our own opinions about a TV show and deserve to feel safe expressing them outside of anonymity. just something to think about before some of y'all go around railing fellow Osblaines and making the community feel unwelcome to different opinions. this is something all of us already experience from the THT fandom of a whole and it doesn't need to be reflected amongst ourselves.

i agree completely with all your examples listed here. many of these scenes don’t seem to come from a place of love, and made me question how June really feels for Nick - especially during season 3 when her behavior was particularly insufferable.

she can, but she shouldn’t! and this is the root of most of my issues with June. it's not just Nick she takes it out on - it's everyone around her. people who help her. people who love her. people who are loyal to her. like Joseph said:

i would like to be able to root for June. she doesn’t have to be perfect for me to do so. (if it’s not clear by now, all of my comfort characters are deeply flawed.) but when she continues to treat others like shit (and in some cases actively harm them for her own agenda) 4+ seasons in without ever learning or growing from those mistakes, it’s difficult to maintain positive feelings for her.

and that’s ok. there’s no obligation to. it’s a freakin’ TV drama.

but i will say... even though i harbor doubts sometimes, i do believe June loves and cares for Nick in her own way. i haven’t completely given up on her because there are moments where you can see how deep that love goes, like in 4x03 and 4x09. maybe she’s just such a fundamentally flawed person that it’s difficult for her to express it in a way that comes across natural. maybe she doesn’t even fully realize the magnitude of love there, or maybe she represses it. it’s difficult to say because even though she is the titular character we rarely get to see what’s going on inside her head when it comes to her personal relationships.

like sure, we know all about June’s trauma and her vengeance and how pissed off she is at the Waterfords and the patriarchy, but how does June feel about putting Moira in a position to raise a child she never wanted? how does June feel about raping Luke? how does June feel about manipulating Emily’s pain for her own agenda? how does June feel about Nick constantly doing THE MOST for her, without asking for anything in return? the show barely scratches the surface of these things... and when it does it’s done in a throwaway manner before moving on to the next big shocking moment, leaving far too much distance between the audience and June’s real feelings.

so yeah. i guess the point is, i agree June can be toxic to those around her and after 4 seasons of it i expect nothing more. but the blame doesn’t lie solely on her - she was made into a poorly written character, after all. characters can go through trauma and still grow as a person, maintain organic relationships, and invite the audience to connect with them (instead of demanding it “because she’s a victim.”)

but instead Bruce & co prioritize making June a symbol rather than a human. she’s a symbol of vengeance against the patriarchy, of (white) feminist violence, and of devoted motherhood - with little meat in between. this is very clear from the way they all talk about June and the show as a whole, too. and that’s where June’s character flaws really come from - not her personal trauma - but from the writers’ failure to humanize her in a substantial way.
