I headcanon the mounting spring MC using some sexual terms not knowing they're, well, sexual due to her upbringing, and just casually using them with Levi while he's just flabbergasted. Example 1:

"Can you give me backshots?"

"...what?!"

"Back massage? I have a terrible ache from riding in the cart."

"..."

Example 2:

"Stop being so stubborn and let me give you head!"

"Excuse me?!"

"Head? You know, like advice or opinion?"

"What the actual fuck are you talking about? Don't say that to anyone else."

Example 3:

"Oh, I'm really craving a good creampie right now. Can you arrange for it?"

Levi, trying not to smirk, "I'll give you as many as you want next spring."

"???"

And maybe she heard something about husbands giving their wives "facials" or "pearl necklaces" and asks him about it? And another joke that you added in Holy ground about "eating out" and "making out", yeah that was really good as well XD I absolutely love "miscommunication" and "misunderstandings" like these hehe

HAHAHAHAHA You know... great minds think alike because THIS IS AN SCENE OF THE UPCOMING CHAPTER HAHA:

Levi shoved the itchy gray blanket higher over his shoulder with a decisive tug, like he was drawing a line—marking the end of whatever pushy conversation she thought she could keep going. His bare legs stuck out the bottom—he’d long given up on staying fully dressed in this godforsaken heat, modesty has lost the battle—but ditching the blanket altogether felt like surrendering to the cold. That was too much. Some things just made sense, even if they didn’t.

One arm folded beneath his head, his face turned away from her, eyes squeezed shut with deliberate force, his brows deeply furrowed. He wasn’t asleep—anyone could tell—but he was clearly committed to faking it. Or at least, forcing the night to end by sheer will. Mostly, he was hoping she’d get the message.

“Levi…” she called out again.

“Go to sleep,” he muttered, each word bitten off and heavy with exhaustion. Her persistence was wearing him down, strand by strand, like a fraying rope.

“But I need to ask you something…” She shifted upright slightly. Her voice had that unmistakable pouty tone—he could practically hear the lip quivering.

“Ask me in the morning.”

“But—” she protested, voice smaller now, embarrassed.

He groaned into the blanket. “For the love of—what could possibly be so important that it can’t wait till sunrise?”

Her voice dipped into a sheepish murmur. “It’s something I’ve been meaning to ask you…”

His brow twitched. Levi let out a longer breath, then scoffed. “And it just had to be asked at three in the damn morning? In a tent?”

“…Kinda.”

The awkward silence that followed was laced with too much emotion to ignore. He cracked one eye open and glanced over his shoulder. She was sitting up now, fiddling with her fingers and looking away.

‘…She’s kinda cute like that,’ he thought grimly, and instantly regretted it.

“I wanted to ask you in private,” she murmured.

Levi propped himself up on an elbow, gaze sharpening. Whatever this was, she clearly wasn’t going to drop it.

“What?” he asked, already annoyed, but clearly listening.

“Well, since you're my husband now and all… I guess it should be you who teaches me.” She was dancing around the words like they were hot coals, and that irritated him even more. He clicked his tongue. “I want to ride.”

His brain shut off.

“…What?”

“It was Hange idea!”

It’s just that his brain had already gone places. Dangerous, sweaty, deeply inappropriate places.

“I want you, as my husband, to teach me how to ride. I don’t really know how to do it, and I’m kinda ashamed, but I thought if I felt a little bit in control, I might be willing to try new things—”

Her awkward stammering was cut off by his sharp interruption, voice rough and suddenly tight.

“Riding what?” he cut in, voice suddenly dry and a little panicked, because his brain was already passing down all the decisions and thinking to his other head.

‘She’s that ready? I mean… I do prefer to be on top, but—shit, for a virgin, she’s eager but I guess it's easier for a virgin to see how much deep they want to go? And here? In a tent? I mean, I won’t be the first to do it like this, but… damn, I thought she'd want a bed at least.’

‘Not that I’m complaining, though.’

“A horse,” she said flatly, frowning at him like he was the idiot. What else is there to ride?”

All the tingling heat rushing down his spine screeched to a stop. His body had been seconds away from betraying him—his scent, his posture, everything had been more than ready to jump the gun. He was even ashamed of how quickly his own body betrayed him giving away a “I’m more than ready,” scent.

“Well,” he muttered under his breath, “I could think of a few things…”

She sniffed. “Wait. Why do you smell like that?”

“Go to bed, for fuck’s sake,” he growled, flipping back over and yanking the blanket high enough to bury half his face.

“Are you going to teach me or not?” A muffled thud followed, along with her yelp: “Don’t hit me with a pillow!”

“Shut up!” Levi hissed. “You’re gonna wake the whole damn camp!”

THERE ARE SPOILERS UP AHEAD FOR NINJAGO DR S3!!!!

This post will be tagged properly, but I placed that warning just to be safe. You have been warned~

Now get ready for my dr s3 notes, in no particular order of importance

- Right off the bat, I love love love Frak. We didn’t get to see his personality on full display in s2, and now that I know what he’s like I freaking love this guy. He’s kind of a dick, but not on purpose, more like in a teenager way. He really reminds me of the early season ninja, when they just said whatever tf they wanted, whenever. With Arin and Sora being pretty sweet most of the time, and Wyldfyre being a little pest but not actually saying anything controversial, I like that an overly opinionated guy got added into the mix.

- with that being said, I really didn’t expect Sora to be given a real love interest, but I don’t hate her and Frak as a possible pairing. Ik people interpreted her as a lesbian but idk pan Sora also works for me. Their dynamic is pretty fun. I like that Lloyd can’t pick up on the fact that they’re bonding and not actually full on arguing.

- PIXAL MY BELOVED IS BACK AND HER EYES ARE OOPY GOOPY AND HUGE!!!!!! WHY ARE THEY SO BIG, IS IT TO SEE HER DARLING HUSBAND WITH?

- Zane being goofy w/Pixal as soon as they reunited was what got me to tear up. That might sound weird but I love love, and their love means so much to me :[

- I didn’t know I needed and Lloyd and Pixal hug until they did it and now I need more Pixal hugs with her friends

- “Wow it’s awesome that Morro got his moment. He’s so epic and noble now, what a guy. I hope we see him again.”

- The second and only other time I cried was because of Arin and Sora’s friendship backstory, and when they hugged again for the first time in ages. God damn the writers didn’t have to make their dynamic and friendship that amazing but they did. They are the definition of platonic love, together until the end. While it’s sad that Sora left with Arin and Ras, it actually makes me so happy that she chose friendship.

- ^^ And now to add on. It was obvious from the start that Ras was lying about Arin’s parents. His non specificity about their deaths cemented it for me, and what shocked me the most wasn’t Jay’s reveal. What shocked me was that Jay instantly knew exactly who the ninja were talking about when they mentioned Arin’s parents. Is his memory really good? (It would be ironic, I know) but if Jay was really managing that many people, for like 7 ish years, the idea that he remembered these people who mean nothing to him right away is so Jay of him.

- NOW FOR JAY. He was really awesome as Rogue. Bro was kind of a beast. He took so many damn hits, yet he was suddenly “really hurt” the minute he was offered a warm and safe place to rest (🥲). I doubt his reluctance to go with the ninja was real and not an act. I think he’s genuinely sad and lost, and then these kind people showed up and he doesn’t know how to react without claiming it’s weird. I’m excited for him to learn to be vulnerable again. That was kind of his whole thing before, wasn’t it?

- I need to know what happened to Zane’s actual body. Is it in the suit? Is it under maintenance somewhere else? Like hello?!?! Imagine transferring bodies and being that chill w/it. It will for sure be addressed (I think)

- I really like that Kai and Nya got so many moments together. They deserve to be with each other, and annoy each other to death after being separated for so long.

- For the people who got sidelined a lot- Wyldfyre and Cole - here is why I don’t mind it too much:

- Wyldfyre was given a boyfriend, and while they like each other a lot, I did think they needed more development. And development is what they’re getting. I also liked seeing Wyldfyre apply her lessons with Kai about remaining calm(ish) when things are looking bad.

- Cole, on the other hand, was nowhere to be seen for most of the first half of s3. Why do I not care too much? Because they’re really trying to hammer in the fact that Cole is a family man now, with a responsibility to his husband (yes husband) and his kids. That’s my interpretation, and now I need the writers to commit to a lostshipping kiss :]

- “Well I think that wraps everything up. I’m glad that boss dragon was defeated, so anyways- Oh, is that Morro again? Cool, maybe he’ll get to see the ninja or- wait what’s happe- THAT DRAGON ATE MORRO? He FucKinG ATe hIM WHAT TJE FUCK YOU CANT END IT LIKE TJAT-“

Thank you so much! :DD I have a fanfic side blog but have since privated all the posts out of embarrassment- so currently I don't write/have any fanfics to share 😅😅--And other than sounding like a hyper five year old when I made that post😅 my opinions remain somewhat unchanged.

Soundwave is still my favorite Decepticon for the same reasons. The silent type that is a beast in combat, and is fiercely loyal to Megatron will always be cool to me. As for the other Decepticons, the way I would describe them has changed just a bit.

Megatron: I hate him in the way you are supposed to hate a villain. I think he's a really cool character and I enjoy seeing him on screen and seeing what evil deed he'll craft next.👀

Starscream: I used to really hate Starscream. But now his pathetic, sniveling, and cowardly behavior is more funny to me than anything. And its always funny/satisfying to watch him backstab Megatron and throw a wrench in his plans over and over XDD

Knock out: Knockouts incredibly vain and Egocentric personality is really getting on my nerves this second time around. He annoys me whenever he's on screen and keeps making me think that Breakdown was more deserving of life and a redemption arc than K.O. As I close in on the episode where he becomes an Autobot, I highly doubt there will be any satisfying character development that makes his switch from Con to Bot believable. I will surly post a rant about him sometime soon and maybe completely overhaul his character for my AU. 🙄

Shockwave: I've only seen a few episodes with him so far. But I really like him. A hulking scientist that can absolutely flatten you on the battle field. Cold, alien, calculated, unfeeling, shows no mercy or fear.. he's pretty cool to me XDD

Airachnid: I hate her but not in a fun way like Megatron. She's just an annoying villain with an annoying personality that keeps getting away when she really shouldn't have. 🙄

Predaking: Only seen this guy for a few episodes too. And I haven't gotten to the ones where he talks yet. But I don't like him much already. The stakes already felt high and realistic enough. But then you add a reincarnated overpowered cybertronian dragon thing into the mix? Just made it feel more fantastical and like there's too much going on at once. Not really a fan of him so far. <:/

Dreadwing and Skyquake: The ending these two had made me very sad. Skyquake dying in his debut episode and then having his death/body striped of all its honor by being resurrected and used as a weapon.. Only for him to mindlessly wander the shadow realm for eternity.. I can only hope he became one with the allspark and has no connection to his body..

Then Dreadwing.. The pain he must have felt when he learned of what Starscream did to Skyquake.. and he didn't even get the chance to avenge his brother.. I really hope they're both at peace together with the allspark.

I really liked the two of them, and think they were very well written and interesting characters. I will definitely be writing them into my AU and give them a happy ending where they can be reunited.💚💙

Breakdown: I really, really liked him and think it was horrible writing to kill him off after his encounter with Silas and Bulkhead. Like seriously, what happened in the writing room for this character? They couldn't have hammered it into our heads any harder that Breakdown was setting up to switch to Autobot. I went back through that episode (Season 1, Episode 16) and took some dialogue just to showcase what I mean.

First of all, we have what Megatron said after he is notified that Breakdown was captured by Silas. "If Breakdown allowed himself to be captured by those smaller than him, weaker than him. He deserves whatever fate awaits him."

This shows the viewer that Megatron sees Breakdown as weak for being captured by humans, and thus deems him useless.

Then we hear what Breakdown says when Silas comments about Breakdown being too valuable to let go. "Haha! Megatron will never pay a ransom!" His laughter and this comment shows the viewer that Breakdown believes Megatron will not negotiate with the humans and will simply eradicate the humans in order to rescue him.

These two things showed the viewer that Breakdown thinks Megatron values him and will rescue him, when in reality Megatron absolutely does not value him and has no intentions to rescue him.

Then later on with the bots we get these lines:

Bulkhead: "Mech can melt him down for all I care, let the cons rescue their own!"

Optimus: "It is unlikely that Megatron would bother with an arrand of mercy."

Arcee: "Okay, but this is breakdown we're talking about"

Optimus: "Sometimes we must rise above ourselves for the greater good."

Bulkhead: "Oh what's that supposed to mean!? Breakdowns gonna go all soft and join the cause??"

Optimus: "While it is unlikely any Decepticon will choose the path of good, even they posses the potential for change."

THIS, implies/hammers it SO HARD into the viewers brain that not only is it likely that a Decepticon WILL change, because Optimus believes they all have the ability to do so. But that BREAKDOWN SPECIFICALLY might change after they save him.

After this, we have this interaction between Silas and Breakdown after the Autobots were supposedly blown up.

Silas: "Enjoying the view? Ironically your would be rescuers may be in more pieces than you right now."

Breakdown: "Decepticons don't break that easy!!"

Silas: "Who said they were decepticons?"

Breakdown: "That doesn't make sense. Autobots wouldn't come to rescue me."

This shows the viewer two things. That Breakdown really believes the cons will rescue him, and he doesn't believe the bots would save him for any reason.. But then Bulkhead shows up.

Bulkhead: "It must be your lucky day"

Breakdown: "w...what are you doing..?"

Bulkhead: "Getting you outa here. Yeah, I don't believe it either."

Bulkhead: "Can you walk."

Breakdown: "I.. I think so"

(Alarm starts blaring)

Bulkhead: "Can you run?"

Breakdown transforms his hand into a hammer: "Never run when you can fight"

Bulkhead: "Just keep that thing pointed away from me, alright?"

Breakdown then pauses and kind'a looks at his hammer as Bulkhead moves forward. Eventually following after him.

Later in the fight against Silas, Bulkhead was weakened and fell. Breakdown rushed in to push him out of the way of the helicopter firing the laser. They look at each other, both kind'a surprised by what Breakdown just did.

Later, we then we get this interaction with Starscream.

Starscream: "Consulting with the enemy, Breakdown?"

Breakdown: "Bulkhead got me out of there!"

Starscream: "Many sparkfelt thanks, Autobot. Now destroy him."

Breakdown and Bulkhead look at each other. Both look shocked and hesitate to do anything.

Breakdown: "But y-"

Starscream: "Do you plan on joining their ranks anytime soon? No?? Then be done with it already!"

Breakdown hesitates for several more seconds. "Tough break Bulkhead, maybe in the next life." And then attacks him.

This, once again, was hammering home that Breakdown very likely was going to become an Autobot. He fought alongside Bulkhead and protected him when he didn't have to. And when he was told to destroy Bulkhead, he seriously hesitated and tried to argue with Starscream about it. Before giving in..

Then finally, he have the most damning evidence of all. After Breakdown and Sarscream escape the scene and meet up later on down the road. They have this interaction.

Starscream: "One day you will repay your debt to me Breakdown, the day it comes time to choose sides."

Breakdown: "Uh.. between bots and cons?"

Starscream: "Between myself, and Megatron!"

Breakdown: "...."

Starscream: "Incidentally I suggest that Megatron never know of this rescue. You do want him to think you overcame the puny humans on your own.. don't you."

THIS, interaction is the cherry on top. Starscream implied that if Breakdown wants to go back to the cons, he better make himself look useful and say he got free of the humans himself. This shows Breakdown that Megatron didn't actually send anyone to rescue him. Megatron does not care. So his view of Megatron and the deceptions as a whole was changed with this interaction.

THEN you have the fact that Bulkhead saved him. He doesn't understand why, but no doubt this changed his view of the Autobots and Bulkhead entirely. With their limited resources, they still went out of their way to try and rescue a Decepticon. No doubt the Bots are looking much more merciful and kind than he may have originally thought..

And lastly, us as the viewer get what Breakdown said. "Uh.. between bots and cons?" LITERALLY. This question makes the VIEWER AND BREAKDOWN consider that choice! Why else would they have Breakdown AUDIBLY QUESTION which side he should be on if it wasn't implying that he would later change???

I think it was just garbage writing to kill off Breakdown the way they did. They made an entire episode that basically spelt in big bold letters "Decepticons have the ability to change, and Breakdown is going to choose to become and Autobot." They could not have made that message to the viewers and to BREAKDOWN any more clear if they TRIED.

So basically. I really liked Breakdown and the direction his character was going. And I absolutely hate what the show did to him.

Its sounds like Rescue bots is a show I'd be willing to give a shot someday. Just for its lightheartedness alone tbh. At first I thought I wouldn't like a kiddie transformers show, but as I transition into season 3 of TFP I find myself missing season 1 and the lower stakes/day-in-the-life-of vibe it used to have. But I would be sure to just 100% disconnect it from TFP.

As for Robots in disguise, I think I'm bagging that show entirely. Bumblebee and the others acting way out of character, stupid/non threatening Decepticons, the main cast never learning or developing their character, it just sounds like it would be SO frustrating for me to watch. I can imagine I'd be ranting the whole time and rolling my eyes at Bee. So I won't be trying that show anytime soon.😔

AKA my opinion and why I think both of them suffer from depression

I know many people have been pretty pissed (including me) about the Epilogue and Katsuki's depression, but can we take a moment to talk about Izuku?

I think there is a lot of misunderstanding here because generally everyone tends to mischaracterise him and take his emotions at face value. But unlike Katsuki, who is pretty straight-forward with his emotions, despite trying to suppress them a lot, Izuku is more of an emotionally avoidant and unattached kind of person.

Yeah, according to the ending, he had to watch all of his friends become Pro Heroes and slowly lose contact with him while he lost the quirk that made him able to do the one thing that he loved, but he eventually accepted it and decided to become a teacher to help others who are just like him too. He has grown past his childhood dreams and matured enough to understand that being a hero is not the only way he can help others. And in the end Katsuki was the one who was still stuck in the past, chasing their childhood dream together, yet he'll never be able to reach it. He isn't Number One because he is just a shell of the person he was, he has nothing to fight for, no dreams to reach for. He is just Katsuki forever stuck waiting for someone who will never stand again by his side.

It angered me when everyone just straight up ignored his emptiness...did noone see how empty he was inside?? Can no one see the lack of life in his eyes? That he is still breathing yet not living anymore?

And especially Izuku, because we all might rightfully ask, how could he have done what he did in the end? How could he reject the one person who he has chased after for all his life? How could he go from admiring him to the point that he couldn't imagine a world without him, to turning his back without even a glance back, and leaving him in the dust? For someone who never used to be able to take his eyes off of Katsuki, it's so hard to believe and accept that he didn't notice what was going on with Katsuki. He might be oblivious but he's still very intelligent and has always known Katsuki inside and out, but that's not all.

He went straight against his character with how he acted in the Epilogue. But how? Who is Midoriya Izuku exactly? What is his character like again?

Determined to help others, and an optimistic, empathetic human being who is always cheerful and brings a smile to others' faces. Kind yet oblivious. Bubbly and always smiling. Never once being rude to anyone. Just like in the Epilogue.

Wait...that doesn't seem right.

This is exactly the point where people tend to stop at and just accept these facts at face value, not looking into his character any further. The amount of time I have seen him being mischaracterized like this, into this...twink, just makes me mad AF.

When was he ever this innocent fluffy ball of sunshine? NEVER. That is NOT the Midoriya Izuku I have known.

And originally I was angry that they made Izuku act like this in the Epilogue because this just goes against his entire character. But as I'm thinking over it more, I think I might have come to a realization.

So we all saw how depressed Bakugo was in the Epilogue right? Did his emptiness draw all of our eyes away from Izuku's own? I believe so.

Just think about it. By now we know how much Izuku actually suppresses his own desires and emotions in order to satisfy others and maintain social harmony. He doesn't want to burden others with what he feels. And he uses a mask of cheerfulness to hide his true feelings. Which of course, makes sense, because he WAS forced to leave his dream behind and have to accept that he'll never become a hero. He is a teacher now, and just like he said so, he has accepted this and is okay with this life now, he doesn't desire to join an agency anymore or be a Pro Hero. Yeah this all makes sense too.

Except

ARE WE FUCKING STUPID?

Of COURSE he was lying. Why do we all tend to trust Izuku's words so much??? Did he accept this life and that he's quirkless now? NO HE DID NOT. Is he okay with it and did he actually move on from his childhood dream? NO HE DID NOT. Is he okay with being a teacher, and is he actually okay with leaving Katsuki behind just like that? HELL NO HE AIN'T.

Izuku might be optimistic and friendly but boy can he be a selfish and emotionally stunt bastard sometimes. Throughout the ENTIRE manga, was there even one time where his actual, real internal conflicts have been processed and dealt with? NO. But that doesn't mean he doesn't have any, the manga just simply looks straight past it in favor of Katsuki's character development, cause, well, let's be real, he kinda needed it. There is also a lot of focus on everyone else's development. But never on Izuku's.

And so what happens when Izuku bottles up all these emotions that never ever have the opportunity to be addressed anymore, because the plot is over? There is no big epiphany moment or character development, it's all over, his story is over, he has nowhere left to put all these emotions in so he has no choice but to keep them all inside. Except, he actually does have a choice, he is just clueless when it comes to his feelings and isn't willing to rely on others for once.

Those cheerful and friendly smiles that we saw from him in the Epilogue? Those aren't real smiles, that is not real happiness. He is in fact not okay at all. He is depressed too, just as much as Katsuki is. And if it's so hard to be seen in Katsuki, it's going to be even harder to notice in Izuku. They are both struggling, yet neither are willing to open up with eachother and share their insecurities, their fears, their pain.

Does Izuku appear happy? Does he appear to have truthfully accepted his life and what happened? Yeah, he does. Does anything suggest that this might not be the case? Not really. There are no direct hints to show us that something is wrong, so from all I know, I could be wrong and he could very well just simply be happy and have moved on with his life. The only thing that MIGHT suggest that he's not honest with himself is the lack of determined, lively energy that characterizes him so well. Midoriya Izuku is Midoriya Izuku because he never gives up, he is always fighting for his dreams. And there might be a universe out there where he became a healthy version of himself and stopped chasing a daydream that he knew would never achieve, but that's exactly the problem, that would be a healthy version if himself.

Has this Midoriya Izuku ever healed? Has he ever addressed his trauma? He went to WAR, he lost his quirk, he lost Katsuki, then he felt like everyone left him behind. This is no healthy version of Izuku, so there is absolutely no way that he actually just accepted his fate and is "okay with it". He might seem like he's happy, but people like him are always so good at masking their emotions, at pretending that everything is okay, that they're fine. I'm fine, Daijoubu, DAIJOUBU, thats ALWAYS what he says even when he is literally standing with every single bone in his body broken to pieces.

I believe that the truth is this:

They are both too preccupied with surviving their own trauma and depression to notice that the other is going through just as much pain as them. They are always two sides of the same coin. There is no simply leaving Katsuki behind, there is no literal way of this ever happening in this timeline because throughout their life their fates have been tied together to the point that it's simply impossible to just go back to being strangers. Bakugo Katsuki is not fine, because he died, he witnessed the only person who was ever able to stand by his side lose his quirk, his dream got ripped away from him, he fell back by miles when his hand got torn apart, he was left chasing after everyone meanwhile the one person he wanted to be on the heels of for the rest of his life is unable to stand by his side again. Can you all imagine what it must have felt like to have that dream ripped away from you after everything you went through together? Then when he only had one hope left for Izuku to join his side again, he spent 8 years working for that suit for him only for Izuku to reject him and refuse to be a hero again. What is the point of Katsuki's life at this point? Being Number One is meaningless if Izuku isn't there by his side. He is depressed because he cannot find a new purpose to live, he is stuck in an endless cycle with no way out of it.

And Izuku? See this is exactly why I think he's a moron. Wanna know what that Epilogue really was? ANGST. Yeah. Literal angst. The one you'd see in fanfics. Or like with Reki and Langa. Reki was always the one with a bubbly and cheerful personality, yet deep down he felt like Langa was miles ahead of him and that he would eventually get left behind. And instead of talking it out, because well, apparently no one knows what therapy is, both Reki and Izuku chose to "not burden the other" with their own internal conflicts, and instead left without an explanation, only to pretend that everything is okay and that behind closed walls they are not depressed and struggling to survive day by day because it's all just hopelessness, unable to see a way out, unable to do anything about it, stuck in an endless loop of unhappiness and losing their spark in the process. Reki losing his passion to skateboard, and Izuku losing his passion to keep fighting and be a hero. Reki and Izuku going against who they are and acting like a completely different person. Because that is what depression does to you. It sucks away your life energy until you are just an empty shell, until you forget what true joy even meant in the first place. Until you get used to pretending to be okay, and in the end even you believe your own lies because you have forgotten what living felt like in the first place.

It's always misunderstandings. And in this case, there is no plot point to save their relationship anymore. Like with Gon and Killua...they separated over a misunderstanding too, Killua believing that Gon didn't want him there by his side anymore, while Gon felt guilty and like he was a burden, even though they used to be inseparable. It's always the "cheerful and friendly but emotionally a moron" and "detached and unfriendly but would die for the other" duo I swear.

So, in the end, Izuku looked in Uraraka's way because she was the only person other than Katsuki who has ever cared about actually understanding him. Him wanting to talk to her more is him literally craving for someone else to understand his pain. And why not go to Katsuki then? Well, Izuku has always had a very complex relationship with him. Izuku is subconsciously put off by Katsuki's feelings because Katsuki's pain is literally the reflection of Izuku's own conflicts, and being close to Katsuki means those emotions getting surfaced, and it makes him avoid him. It's basic human nature. What do we do when we feel an internal conflict? We avoid the people or things that make these emotions explode out of us, we avoid the things that makes us feel them. Yet we want to be understood, so we seek help indirectly. Not from our closest people, but from someone who could understand us without being close enough emotionally to trigger us.

Because just put yourself in Izuku's shoes. You lost your quirk, went through trauma and have been depressed since, but trying to suppress this depression and move on. What would you choose? To be with the person closest to you, who has took your own pain as his own, who hasn't been able to get over YOUR trauma himself and who is still trying to being back what you once had, the exact thing that you're trying to move on from and trying to pretend that it doesn't make you feel sad, and every moment you're with him you're reminded of what happened and how it made you feel?

Or your friend who understands your pain, but doesn't try to subconsciously force you to face it, doesn't view you as their biggest sadness and loss?

Yeah, I thought so.

This is not how to heal a relationship, yet neither of them know better. All Katsuki knows is that he just wants Izuku there by his side again, because without him, he is incomplete. And all Izuku knows is that he wants everything to be okay and doesn't want to be a burden, but the person emotionally closest to him keeps grieving who he used to be, someone who he believes he cannot be anymore. With his own depression, he doesn't have any energy left to pretend to Katsuki too. The closer he is to him, the more that trauma and pain surface, and the more difficult it gets to pretend he's fine.

Sadly, this is the reality of many friendships that have been through hardships. Some things are just too broken for you to know how to fix it yourselves. So you just end up fading away, out of each other's lives, pretending to have moved on, while a piece of you will always be stuck in the memories and the life that you two could have possibly had together, yet you chose to let go.

So, to answer:

Why are both of them so out of character in The Epilogue? Why did they throw both of their development out the window?

Why does it feel like The Epilogue goes against the essence of who they really are?

Because mentally they are not okay, and because that is what depression does to a person. Struggling mentally and emotionally changes you into a completely different person, it's an everyday struggle that makes you barely feel like yourself. It's not something that is logical, it's not natural yet people still tend to overlook it and brush it off. There is no logical explanation for why they are acting the way they are. "But Bakugo would never be so low in the rankings!" "But Izuku would never reject his offer to join his agency and be a hero again!" Tell that to someone who has been struggling to feel alive for years after they have lost interest and pleasure in the dreams that once kept them alive.

So yeah,the Epilogue felt surreal and fake and like it wasn't even part of the story. Well, in the end we will never actually know why it happened and what was truly going on inside their head.

I'm not sure what their actual ages are, I think viv mentioned them in the audition sheets and they go something like this: Alastor died in his 40s, Vox in his 50s, Angel in his 30s, Husk in his 70s, Valentino in his 40s. You are soooo right about Octavia! Gotta say I never thought of "she has a right to be upset she's only 17" from this perspective and you've opened my eyes about it because it's so true. Even if she was an adult she has a complete right to feel this way. For MONTHS maybe even YEARS she's watched her parents bitch about each other and LOATHE one another. That in and of itself would be EXHAUSTING.

Then, not only does her dad cheat on her mom, but they are now getting a divorce and probably going to go to court about it. She watches Stolas dirty talk his new imp boyfriend IN FRONT of her after JUST having an argument with her mom about him cheating and he shows no remorse. Then he takes her to a theme park that she really doesn't want to go to WITH SAID BOYFRIEND which shows not only does he not realise what Octavia wants or feels but he doesn't bother to try.

Then her dad gets kidnapped which was also probably very traumatising for her.

And finally Stolas goes to court to defend Blitz. Now we as the audience know Stolas isn't going to die because the show would be very different, but Octavia has no way of knowing that. From her perspective Stolas went to die INSTEAD of Blitz. Her own dad chose to save someone else and abandon her without a word and there could be a morality discussion here, but when Stolas repeatedly shoves in her face how he would chose Blitz over and over again, she has an irrefutable right to feel as though she's second place.

And another thing we as the audience know that Octavia doesn't, is how abusive Stella actually is. From our perspective Stolas didn't really do anything wrong for wanting to find love outside of the straight marriage he was forced into. But, Stolas repeatedly shows his dedication to Octavia and how he endured all of Stella's abuse so that she could have a normal life. Therefore, it's reasonable to conclude that Octavia has no IDEA how miserable Stolas was until everything started to go to shit. Naturally, a part of her blames him for ruining their family. (Also, from the hug in Mastermind, Stella seems like a good mom so Octavia will rightly feel righteous anger that she was cheated on)

after playing aa4 i was OBSESSED with klavier gavin and the untouched potential of this guy

he loses his best friend/bandmate, his brother AND his mentor in the span of like a year?? i think??? which is INSANE.

there's something very tragic about klavier, a person who values finding the truth above all else, finding out that two of the people closest to him betrayed his trust and lied to him and used him for their own means AND ARE MURDERERS.

and then his mentor, a person who taught that seeking the truth is what a lawyer should do, gets murdered by a person who believes that winning in trials is the most important thing above all else WHICH IS THE SAME EXACT THING THAT KRISTOPH VALUED AS WELL !!!

this core belief of finding out the truth that klavier has, leads him to finding out about the things that daryan and kristoph did, and even though they are important to him, people he CARES about, he continues to work with apollo to see that justice is served.

and the fact that we don't get to see anything of klavier getting any closure after the events of aa4 makes me insane

we never get to see much of klavier's feelings on what happened or him fully processing the events of aa4 and that one case in aa5 and it makes me soooo upset. i wish he got more than that little cameo in aa5 and that one tiny flashback appearance in aa6.

in an alternate universe, aa4 got a true sequel that fully explored klavier's character, as well as phoenix's, klavier's, AND apollo's relationship with kristoph, and klavier's relationship with phoenix post-aa4, and also a more thought out? (for the lack of a better word) backstory for apollo, and an exploration of the jury system, and a game that ACTUALLY built upon the foundation that aa4 laid out.

and i am forever upset that we are not in that alternate universe.

I’ve gotta admit as much as I know Darabella is a flawed ship (and some of the ppl who are anti for it have legit criticisms I love y’all for pointing it out cause it frustrates the hell out of me too trust) they’ll always just kind of be it for me.

Because as much as it was an “I can fix him” trope, as much as Rosabella could be selfish and Daring’s flaws got cranked up to 1000, she was also the first person to look at him after his destiny, the thing he dedicated his life to, failed, when people were questioning him as a prince and putting pressure on his and Apple’s relationship and tell him that, like, maybe it would be alright? Maybe this wasn’t his destiny, and maybe that was okay.

And the part that really gets me? She’s the first person after this happens to tell him that it doesn’t matter what’s on the outside, which as much as you can like other Daring ships or him whatever he desperately needed to hear. Not even cause he was selfish, that’s not what I’m saying, but bc he placed his whole identity on this image that people concocted for him based on him appearing the perfect prince. He was handsome, he was talented, and he was handsome! So who cares about him as a person?

You spend four seasons (I watch the specials on Netflix so that’s why four idk if it’s three to some ppl or whatever tho) watching him be praised for his looks, watching girls fawn over him, and of course he enjoys it so nobody really questions how much he enjoys it. And then you get this girl, this girl who owes him nothing, this girl who (contrary to popular belief apparently) has a life of her own and people she cares about outside of him, and she’s nice to him. I watched Jacks stream oh my gosh...

I thought I could handle a Dsmp stream in 2024 but nope. just- that felt SO much like just a stream that would happen in like 2021. the wandering around falling into random creeper holes, chat telling jack to get philza to help him, and to find michael, the mobs interrupting and how unplanned it all was. unscripted lore my beloved forever and ever.

the way that it's like in tommy and jacks conversation- they're talking about things in character that also relates to (presumably) their feelings in real life. just gosh...

when jack and tommy said their goodbyes and jack looked back at technos house to see the sun rising- like its so perfect in a way that the incidental roleplay always was. Like in the way I know I'm reading into it but it still works and it feels like real life when something happens and you find yourself in that moment and life looks almost like a movie- everything in it's proper place for the scene- but it's all just coincidence. the sun didn't rise because a writer wrote that it would. the sun just rises and falls and the conversation just happens to end at that exact moment.

idk just- I really felt it. It captured the feeling of peak dreamsmp that I've missed so much.

I don't even have a problem with nuke ending personally I think it's perfectly fine as an ending. How I've always seen it is: Everyones been hurt by everyone and violence begets violence so the great final act is nukes that will kill everyone that have all ready been launched so it can't be taken back. Then in the prison tommy sees the early parts of the server through Dreams pov and sees the good that was there at the start and how much that has been corrupted since and he wants that simplicity again (he and dream were even friends at one point) before everything went terrible for everyone. Dream turns his back on his plan that he's been building up to for so long cause what he really wants is the same thing as tommy. for things to be simple like at the start. but it's too late- its too far gone. the nukes have already been launched there's no going back. just the hope that maybe in another world things could've been different.

(also the added context of nuke ending being an elaborate character/relationship/map reset to setup a season 2 that never happened.)

So there's my nuke ending defense lol. I know it wasn't very popular with a vast amount of people and that's okay too.

I think ending something like dsmp was never gonna be easy or satisfy everybody, with how many individual povs there are and storylines. I always expected there to be things left unfinished. (unfinished symphony ;) Even if that's pretty unsatisfying for us viewers. (there's a particular stream I really wish had happened with foolish, dream, and eret)

idk there's a post I always remember when thinking about the ending that was like: "Maybe they couldn't write a happier ending at that time in their lives." (super paraphrasing) obviously talking about techno's passing. it's a bit assumptive but the CC's have talked publicly about how much that has affected them (of course it did). With something like that I imagine giving your minecraft server/roleplay character a happy ending is the last thing on your mind.

Todays stream felt like grief and nostalgia and complicated feelings for a time that has passed but still left it's marks on you:
