House Cleanser Spray
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[images description: first image: a kitchen towel on the counter with on it sage leaves, rosemary, a jar of black salt, a jar of honey, an empty spray jar and a bottle of moon water; second image: a pot with all the ingredients inside, even if the visible ones are only water, sage and rosemary; third image: a spray jar and a jar filled with the result cleanser]
So, I am reading about water magic and one of the suggestions I found in the book was to make a water based cleanser to cleanse your space, instead of using smoke.
Since I wanted to do an energy cleanse for the new month but my dog is with me in the morning, I decided why not try!
And the best part is that not only it's witchcraft, but it also feels like witchcraft, like making a potion!
This is what I did:
got a pot and put it on the stove
added moon water (I had from 2024 cold moon and seemed fitting)
added black salt for protection (I made it with a fire incense so there's also elements mixing and a bit of fiery energy)
added rosemary for protection and purification
added sage, also for protection and purification (the first time I got leaves from my lil personal garden!)
added honey for sweetness and productivity, but mostly because it's my "magical signature" (my witch name means honey!)
turned on the stove
let it simmer while I washed the dishes
when the smell and the color of the water told me that water had absorbed the other ingredients I turned off the stove
I let it cool a little bit (not much, tbh)
I used a funnel to transfer it the bottle I got for it (and actually also put some that didn't fit in another jar to conserve it!)
Of course this is my recipe but you're totally free to customize it or use as inspiration for your own!!

Scrying in a Cup: The Magic of Tea Leaf Readings
Ever stared into your morning tea and thought, Wow, this could tell me my future? No? Just me? Well, welcome to the world of tea leaf reading, or tasseography, where your leftover tea leaves become a mystical roadmap to insight, guidance, and maybe even a little cosmic drama.
Tea leaf reading is one of those ancient practices that just feels right—cozy, mysterious, and deeply personal. It’s divination wrapped in warmth, a little bit of fate steeped into your cup. So, grab your favorite mug, a good loose-leaf tea, and let’s dive into the magic of reading the remnants of your brew!
Tumblr media
A Brief History: The Leaves Never Lie
Like most divination practices, tea leaf reading has been around for centuries. It likely originated in China, where tea has long been considered a conduit of spiritual energy. By the 17th century, tasseography found its way into Europe, particularly in Scotland and England, where it became a parlor pastime and a serious form of divination. The Romani people also played a key role in popularizing tea reading across Europe.
Over time, the practice evolved, but the heart of it remains the same—observing the natural shapes left behind in the cup and interpreting their meanings. No crystal balls, no elaborate rituals—just you, your intuition, and a little bit of patience.
How to Perform a Tea Leaf Reading
If you’re ready to let your tea do the talking, here’s how to get started:
1. Pick Your Tea Wisely Loose-leaf tea is essential. Avoid tea bags (unless you like divining your future with a soggy lump). Black tea, green tea, or even herbal blends work, but smaller, irregular leaves make for the best readings.
2. Brew Your Tea with Intention As you prepare your tea, focus on your question or the guidance you seek. Pour your tea as you would normally, but leave the last sip in the cup—this helps the leaves swirl and settle.
3. Drink and Swirl Once you’ve enjoyed your tea, hold the cup in your non-dominant hand and gently swirl it three times clockwise. Then, slowly turn the cup upside down onto a saucer to drain excess liquid. Some traditions suggest tapping the cup three times for extra clarity.
4. Interpret the Symbols Turn the cup upright and take a look inside. The patterns and shapes formed by the leaves are your message. The closer they are to the rim, the sooner they will come to pass. Shapes near the bottom indicate the distant future.
Common Symbols & Their Meanings
Interpreting tea leaves is a mix of intuition and traditional symbolism. Here are some classic shapes to look for:
Hearts – Love, relationships, emotional fulfillment
Circles – Completion, cycles, wholeness
Stars – Guidance, luck, divine intervention
Birds – News, travel, spiritual messages
Snakes – Transformation, wisdom, sometimes deception
Mountains – Challenges ahead, but also strength and stability
Keys – Unlocking opportunities, new paths opening
Letters – Often indicate a significant person or name
Numbers – Pay attention to dates, timeframes, or personal numerology
But don’t get too caught up in strict meanings—your intuition is key. What does the symbol feel like to you? Sometimes, a random squiggle might feel like a path or a person. Trust your instincts.
Tips for Better Readings
Relax & Have Fun – Overthinking will muddy the message. Treat it like a conversation, not a final exam.
Journal Your Readings – Keeping track of what you see and how things unfold can sharpen your skills over time.
Practice, Practice, Practice – The more you do it, the clearer the messages become.
Experiment with Different Teas – Some blends might create clearer patterns for you.
Final Thoughts
Tea leaf reading is divination at its coziest—a quiet ritual that turns a simple cup of tea into a portal for wisdom. It’s intuitive, personal, and a great way to slow down and listen to what the universe (or your subconscious) is trying to say. So, next time you make yourself a cup of tea, take a moment to peer into the leaves. You might just find the answer you were looking for… or at least a really cool shape that looks like a cat.
Have you ever tried tea leaf reading? What’s the strangest or most accurate thing you’ve seen in your cup? Share your experiences in the comments!

Water & Low Spoons Magic = Teas!
Tumblr media
[image desscription: a glass mug with a tea bag steeping in it on a sunlit table]
Disclaimer: as I'm writing this I do have a cup of tea I'm drinking! It's ginger, to replenish my spoons
One of the low spoons practices you can do (and ofc you also find it in my PDF alongside many others!) is to brew yourself a tea.
If you want to add even more magic, you can use moon or sun water (if it's safe for drinking), but you can also rely only on the meanings of the herbs and fruits in the teas.
You can make your own blend, of course, but to really use as little spoons as possible I suggest using ready-made tea bags with one or more specific ingredients, according to the energy you want to attract!
Note: not all the ingredients need to mean something! For example, I am having a tangerine and ginger tea because of the ginger - the tangerine is also there but not linked to why I'm having it (beside the taste).
These are the meanings that I personally know & use and have learned from various sources, but I did go to Flyingthehedge herbarium to add common types of teas that I didn't know yet!
ginger: energy
lavender: relaxation and sleep
chamomile: also sleep
cinnamon: abundance, success
orange: joy
black pepper: inner strenght
pomegranate: abundance, fertility, sexuality
rose: love (self love included)
rosemary: protection&purification
tumeric: courage
mint: clarity of mind
jasmine: prophetic dreams
dandelion: psychic powers
apple: love
eucalyptus: healing & protection
hibiscus: change, loyalty, love, resistance
lemon: cleansing
strawberry: love, fertility, romance
Feel free to add other meanings you know of or types of tea you'd like to know about!

Hey! Psst! You wanna be a witch? Guess what!
You don’t need a natural gift to be a witch
You don’t need a sign to be a witch
You don’t need a divine calling to be a witch
You don’t need to be born with a vagina to be a witch
You don’t have to be a woman to be a witch
All you need is a fuckton of whimsy, a love for nature, and, ya know, to actually practice witchcraft
Seriously tho, you don’t have to be the magical one that the prophecies foretold or the protagonist of the universe. Anyone can be a witch as long as they practice witchcraft of some kind. And there’s a lotta kinds. Like a lot

Low Spoons Witchcraft!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In my case, my spoons are limited because of audhd, but the reasons may be maaaaany more - and I believe that limited mental energy is not that rare of an issue.
This causes quite a few issues, but speaking about witchcraft it sometimes stops us from doing longer and more complex rituals. What do we do then? LOW SPOONS WITCHCRAFT!
There are plenty of things that we can do, plenty of low spoons friendly witch practices: I made a collection of 10+ that you can find on my Patreon BUT FOR FREE! You don't need to pay anything to access it!
I hope it can be helpful, but also if you have some more suggestions that you want to share feel free to add to this post!
