ngl I absolutely LOVE this MP collage you made a while ago (specifically the collage on MPFC S2Ep2, aka “The Spanish Inquisition”!), aka the one shown below :

Also ngl, I love that you’ve included the yellow subtitles here as they kinda remind me of the subtitles (which iirc most of them were differently coloured but I think the majority of the subtitles used were yellow coloured iirc?) used for/shown in the low Potato quality uploads of the MPFC sketches uploaded on YouTube in the Days of Yore (aka the mid-late 2000s and early 2010s) and some of them in different languages too! (which, when I watched them a while back this year, it was pretty cool as well since it meant it could accessible to anyone who couldn’t speak English and that they can laugh at the silly Python humour too in their own language!)

This probably wasn’t intentional on your part, but I just thought it was cool detail and I wanted to tell you that just incase!!

I love that someone like ripped the clips from their old VHS tapes just to share, idk why but I find that incredibly sweet? like there were no streaming services if you didnt have the tapes you couldn't watch them, and people found the clips so funny they took the time and effort to share them n just aah <3 its the little things yk?

love how Solar Opposites started out as a sitcom about two aliens who can't stand each other, stuck with their teenage clones (whom they also can't stand) & a toddler antichrist (whom they view as a sort of self-sufficient free-roaming hamster?) on a stupid planet they can't stand

and 4 seasons later it's a sitcom about a family of genderqueer aliens, headed by a gay couple in a happy & horny open marriage (with a graphic off-screen sex life, despite their canonical lack of genitalia?) teaching themselves to be okay parents to their 3 kids (whose Sci-Fi Antics now slightly-less-frequently revolve around wreaking havoc on human bystanders, and slightly-more-frequently revolve around alien-clone-sibling-bonding*), to the point that the central plot point becomes "We need to provide our toddler antichrist with a stable home environment."

(also the grumpy alien husband is too busy ingratiating his family with their suburban neighbors to even remember whom or what he dislikes. what is this show)

his design was inspired by this one by @itsxroxannex

he's pretty significantly taller than ink (which isn't difficult) and blue. and by which i mean he's like 5'8" (173 cm)

whilst he is very polite and very well mannered he's an absolute lunatic when you get to know him. not nearly as crazy as ink, dream is quite reasonable in comparison, but that's ink he's french.

ink's crazy in the things he does, dream's just very unwell. he's manic pixie 'dream' boy, not the brightest star in the sky, somewhat unrealistically optimistic, needs to go to therapy, depressed, gay, overworked, he needs everyone to like him all the time and takes it very personally when they even slightly don't.

eventually he stops pretending to be ok and start getting better but that takes a hot minute, kinda like the plot of steven universe future.
