i'm currently reading the silmarillion for the first time, and there is a lot to chew on, but of course i am thinking about frodo. because the evil of the ring is really a primeval, primordial one. melkor/morgoth was created before the beginning of the world, and his evil is passed on to sauron, and we all know what happens next. and no vala, elf, or man is ever able to completely eradicate this evil from middle-earth. it isn't until the burden is placed upon the shoulders of frodo is it ever destroyed and middle-earth is saved.

I just realized your hero of Power gets around, doesn’t he? You’ve put him in tears of the kingdom, hyrule warriors with sky floors hdw au, even linked universe with some fics. What would it be like if he ended up in some other games? Skyward sword? Twilight princess?

OK ok IN MY DEFENSE, Peggy first mentioned what would happen if Power and her Warriors interacted, which absolutely unlocked the flood gates in my brain LOL. And him with LU did start with me mentioning it but everyone else asked. So. XD I try not to shove him on everyone too much since I don’t think most of the lovelies care about him (no shade, just based on notes for posts he’s in and all), but he is my one of two favorite OC blorbos literally ever (Abel is the other one, of course), so I… mess with him a lot.

…But yes, he does get around. XD I love him. And torture him.

Hmmm, I’m trying to think how he’d fit into Skyward Sword. Maybe he’d be among the Sheikah on the Surface?? HA imagine if he and Ghirahim knew each other somehow, and Ghirahim is constantly trying to get him to help resurrect Demise and Power’s just like “DUDE. NO.” And just SO exasperated with him LOL

Twilight Princess could be interesting. 🤔 Imagine if, back in OoT era, he helped fight against Ganon in the war that got him captured and almost executed. But when all of that is done, Power still defends the Gerudo despite Hyrule’s desire to wipe them out (I mean… they definitely went poof in TP, let’s be real. I don’t think they’re all dead but I sure do think Hyrule won that war and made sure the Gerudo knew they’d lost and could never be a threat again. Zelda’s not vindictive but she’s a fighter and has a will of iron… and Arbiter’s Grounds is heavily implied to be the old Spirit Temple). Maybe, with the Triforce split again, when Time dies Power inherits Courage, and he tries to fight for the Gerudo. Hyrule can’t kill him, but they can’t have him causing problems either, so maybe the sages seal him away, despite Zelda’s orders against it.

And in the future, someone finds out.

I haven’t finished TP, but it seems Zant kind of worships Ganondorf like a god. So if he found Power’s prison, he’d hand him over in a heartbeat. Power… would not be happy about this. But who knows, if Ganon tells him how Hyrule nearly annihilated the Gerudo despite Link’s efforts to protect them… he still probably wouldn’t side with Ganon but he sure would want to lash out too. Midna, having just discovered that light dwellers are capable of goodness and kindness, would probably have to be the primary one to get him to calm down about Hyrule.
